#sex-based oppression

We are not advocating for female-only sports because we "believe women are inherently not as capable as men based on biological differences of the sexes". We are advocating for female-only sports because we understand that there are neutral, biological differences between male and female people and yet sports and everything else are tailored to men's biological differences and treat the male sex as the default measurement. We are advocating for female-only sports because we've often been historically expected to prove ourselves by competing against men within the systems they create.
We are not being "transphobic", "sexist", or "anti-feminist" for acknowledging there are neutral, biological differences between the sexes. You are being sexist for treating male as the default and expecting us to meet male standards.

calling women uterus people/vagina havers/womb carriers is regressive. You guys have done PR rebranding for misogyny in the 21st century. yall should meet my dad and his entire village who refuses to call women by the word woman (which is already itself derived from something misogynistic). Instead they have to outdo it one more and call women rotimakers, childbirther (translating it). But they make no mystery of it, they know woman is an animal not worth being called as a subject. you guys are worse because you morons are simply redoing feudal relations under capitalism but with CIA postmodern ideology and think you’re being revolutionary lmao. I will literally beat yalls western ass

Trans men experience transphobia AND misogyny AND sex-based oppression. There's no such thing as afab privilege just bc you have a stick up your ass about not being female.
I can tell from the tone of this ask that it is written by a transmisogynist, yet I'm going to respond because it may be helpful to other TMAs to read how to deconstruct their arguments. Of course, I will acknowledge that because I'm not a transmasculine person, there are parts of that experience that I am not privy to.
Trans men experience transphobia AND misogyny AND sex-based oppression.
Yes, all trans people are oppressed under transphobia, and this includes trans men. And yes, trans men do experience sex-based oppression (aka sexism). Where you've lost me is claiming that trans men experience misogyny unequivocally.
I know that many trans men pre- and post- trans acceptance are negatively impacted by / experience misogynistic violence regularly. However, it is erroneous to assert that out trans men / post-trans acceptance trans men / transmascs who are farther along in their transition are the routine targets of misogyny because trans men are not women.
Hypothetically, let’s envision that a trans man is incorrectly identified as a woman in public, and they experience malicious misogynistic violence as a result of this incorrect identification. The violence this trans man experiences is obviously motivated by misogyny. However, this misogyny originates from a denial of this trans man’s manhood, or misgendering, which is an act of transphobia. I make this distinction not to minimize the negative and long-lasting impacts / trauma associated with experiencing misogynistic violence, but because these conversations require nuance.
Of course, there are some transmascs who still align with aspects of themselves pre-transition, and that is their right. The problem comes, however, when transmascs center themselves in discussions about misogyny, as women are the primary targets of misogyny.
There's no such thing as afab privilege just bc you have a stick up your ass about not being female.
I’ve stated before that AFAB individuals are inherently oppressed, so this is a strawman. Also, I am a female.

sometimes i just brood about how i can't walk around shirtless in public, which is such a simple privilege males have over females that really shouldn't mean much. however, it's impossible for me to rebel against this expectation on my own; the reason i don't just say "fuck it" and walk out shirtless is because i would become a sexual object to every man i see. the intent i had would be hijacked by the male gaze, if that makes sense.
i also see this hijacking thing happen with sexual liberation, where women were/are trying to reclaim their agency and right to have sed with whoever, but many men don't see it like that. they just see women they can have sex with, and the meaning is lost on them.
this observation has always frustrated me and it just sucks that you can see the pattern in a lot of aspects of feminism, where men will pick out parts that benefit them and THEN support those parts for their own benefit.

One person was banned almost immediately.
The other person was not banned until they made another post revealing that they were posting videos of their partner.
One person was harassed and bullied and told that they were lying.
One person was given advice, told about how they could improve their situation.
This is why kink is not safe. There is more compassion and kindness for someone who admits to wanting to kick their partner in the face than there is for someone who has received that treatment.

Profanity and Misogyny
"Motherfucker", "cunt" , "bitch", "Whore" etc. are words that are so commonly used in colloquial language that one almost forgets the nuance attached to them. In almost every language there exist a myriad of swear words that refer to the degradation of the female vagina. A woman's sex is seen as her badge of shame and if she has control over her it then she has become astray from the path of the virtue.
"To insult a man, you insult his woman". I remember awkwardly shuffling in my seat, getting very uncomfortable when male peers would call each other "motherfucker" or "cunts" so casually. A woman much older than them was reduced to her sex, a tool to insult their friends. My sex- the organ that I was born with- was a sign of weakness. If you are meek or a coward you are a "pussy". In my language, I could never find the word equivalent of vagina, for it was too sexualised to use in society. Before I was even old enough to understand the workings of my body, a organ that I had been born with was left redundant to its function to please a man-villified by porn.
"Fuck" is seen as an insult because men consider sex a defiling act that takes away the dignity of the woman. Another misogynistic implication is the term "deflowering"; having sex takes away her innocence. After sex, the woman is not a human to them but a "cunt". The sexual paraphernalia of a woman is associated with purity. There is such a huge emphasis that is put on the concept of virginity, because it brings control to the patriarchal society over a woman's autonomy.
The sexual liberation of 70s was brought as a rebellion to these norms- young women were groomed into thinking that sex is empowering. Hookup culture also emerged as an aftereffect of the sexual liberation. The politics of a woman's sex is argued all day while the male penis remains as a neutral organ despite having been a tool to oppress women.
Sex is a completely neutral act of pleasure that is neither degrading nor empowering. However, this statement would only exist in a vacuum. Men use sex as a form of violence upon women-rape is a political tool. For women to take back control of their sexual autonomy, they must acknowledge the politics of sex-or lack thereof. Selectively choosing whom you are having sex with is the first step.
I implore everyone to stop using degrading profanities that have misogynistic connotations. When others around me --especially men-- use these swear words, I ask them why their insults always involve a woman to be degraded and humiliated. Not acting as an accompalice to patriarchy, not keeping quiet against the patriarchal violence and spreading word against misogyny is the best silent mutiny.

Data spanning from 1995 to 2021 in India revealed a striking gender imbalance in organ transplants, with four men getting organ transplants for every woman. A total of 36,640 transplants took place in this period, out of which 29,000 were for men and 6,945 for women.
This substantial difference is attributed to a complex interplay of economic responsibilities, societal pressures, and deeply ingrained preferences.
Dr Anil Kumar, director of the government-run National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO) highlighted this significant aspect of the organ donation landscape.
While more men contribute as cadaver donors, a staggering 93 per cent of total organ donations in the country come from living donors, he told the Times of India newspaper. This hints at a trend: a majority of living organ donors are women.  Socio-economic factors a driving force for women donors? A study published in the Experimental and Clinical Transplantation Journal in 2021 delved into the intricacies of living organ transplantation in India. The findings showed that 80 per cent of living organ donors are women, predominantly wives or mothers. The socio-economic pressure on women to assume caregiving roles within the family emerges as a primary factor, compelling them to step forward as donors. Men's reluctance in surgery In many cases, men, often the primary breadwinners, hesitate to undergo surgery, contributing to the gender gap in organ recipients. The study highlights that when the recipient is a male breadwinner, family members, especially wives or parents, feel a heightened responsibility to donate organs. Emotional dynamics The emotional dynamics surrounding organ donation are intricate. Women recipients, in particular, may experience guilt when their family members, especially wives or mothers, become donors. This reluctance leads to a scenario where women recipients may find themselves on waiting lists.  Notably, Karnataka has topped the charts in organ donation in the past decade. The number of donations have risen from 102 in 2013 to 765 in the first 10 months of 2023.
A user on Ovarit added this helpful context:
"Just a little more context to this: men produce male-specific proteins (on the Y chromosome) which often get rejected by women's bodies. Since males have an X chromosome, their bodies recognize proteins from female donors. This makes it more difficult for women to receive male tissue/organs, while still being acceptable candidates for donating to men. Even still, these ratios are very disproportionate".
"As women we absolutely need to be aware of our vulnerability of being used as spare parts in a man's world. Especially when we are being socialized into believing that we need to sacrifice our bodies and lives for others- and society has developed a sense of entitlement to this sacrifice, while downplaying the suffering of women."

Putting her brilliant response aside, women have literally died because society treated us like smaller men. Women have different symptoms of diseases, need doses of medications that account for our metabolism, and have unique conditions that are in desperate need of further study. Arguing that biological sex has no importance just sets us back. Women are a biological class and we exist, and we matter.

I've heard a lot of times the argument from gendies that in pre colonial times there used to be a "third gender" which basically proves, according to them, that our view of gender is western and white. Other feminists have said that those third-gender people where actually gay or feminine men who were castrated and due to homophobia they were characterised as such. What's your opinion on that ? And do you know where i can read more about it ?
Everyone needs to read Engels, Gerda Lerner and Eleanor Leacock. Gender exists whenever there is a state need to oppress women into reproducing. So yes “gender variation” has existed pre-colonially because states and private property existed pre-colonially and gender is a caste system of sexual division of labor to pass on that private property. It’s forced, so people will always be outside of it which is why it has to be forced.
But most people in the west tokenize the third gender as trans. They are and have always been homosexual. Yes they were castrated due to homophobia. Or given a role within their society outside of the heterosexual roles. This makes sense given that gender is again, a SEXual division of labor meant to enforce heterosexuality in order to ensure women reproduce. You do not reproduce if you are homosexual. Therefore, you are antagonistic to the purpose of gender.
It’s very simple idk why ppl got it so complicated in the west. I blame Judy Butler, cia plant I’m sure

Just some TiMs casually fantasising about humiliating and raping feminists and lesbians.
They say they "don't feel safe," around radfems, while imagining ways to demean and humiliate us.
This is why we want spaces where we can avoid rape and abuse fetishists. This is why we don't want to be exposed to males in environments where we should be protected.
Stay safe out there guys.

honestly, rape is not illegal.
if your chances of being convicted of rape are less than 1% (given that it was even reported in the first place), if the chances of a rape victim seeing justice are the equivalent of winning the lottery, you cannot argue society treats rape as a crime. rape is a man's right under a patriarchal system of justice.
