God, I hate what my wife does to me when it comes to enjoying media together. She will make me believe the STUPIDEST SHIT, because she knows exactly how to get me to talk myself into a corner.

I don't like a character? She asks exactly the right question to send me into a whole thing psychoanalyzing the guy, and now we're talking about his past and where he may have come from, and now we've written him a tragic backstory, and now he's my problematic fave and my poor little meow meow despite having like 15 minutes of screen time max and spending all of them being kind of an unbearable piece of shit.

And she does this every time. I am not immune to propaganda. But even more than that, I am not immune to my fucking wife knowing how to weaponize my own tendency to overthink against me.

She will bring up an idea, and I'll go "No, that's stupid." And I already know that I've lost before we've begun and she'll have me convinced by the end of the week at most.

My wife will come up with the STRANGEST most non-canon shit, and then will have me TOTALLY SOLD ON IT despite all initial reservations

The influence she has on me is ridiculous.
