Summary: things are not the same… they met. Now yn fears her life around him. He acts as though nothing happened. To him shes still the love of his life.

Warnings: jungkook makes yn seem delusional, cursing, mentions of smut, kidnap, harm to others, Someone is definitely being threatby jungkook, for sure.

Something was telling yn that maybe everything that happened to between her and jungkook was just all a dream. Tom, doesnt recall Jungkook acting weird or strange. Everything just seemed off. Weird.

The song was done but the damage was still there.

Whats even worst is they have to do a duet live tonight.

This will be the first time she has seen him since their encounter in her house.

“Hey! jungkook is live” Tom said showing yn his phone. Jesus even his name made her uncomfortable.

“Oh my collab? Yes, we get to see eachother later. Army, are you attending?” Jungkook smiled and chuckled with all the fans in the comments saying yes, of course, you two are my favorite, y/nnie 8th member. Things like that.

That would’ve made you happy but it just didn’t make things better. Was he pretending that he what happened just didn’t happen?

“I hope you all will enjoy it just as much as i will”

Scared shitless was definitely what you could describe yn at the moment she didnt know how to react to seeing him.

Its been a month since then and the man she has been avoiding is going to be in the same dressing room. This definitely wasnt set up.

While getting her hair done, she got notice that Jungkook wanted a practice.

Of course he does, he needs all the reasons to see her.

Honestly, its been killing Jungkook that he didn’t take her away for himself that night. The only thing is that as two public figures, that would only spark controversy. Where did the queen of youtube and indie music go? Disappearing after a hit collab would only make her look money hunger and Jungkook could never let his wife have such bad things said about her. Ever.

The way Jungkook feels should be written in the world record for the most delusional lover.

A lot has happened in a month for him. He definitely didnt get like 4 small hidden tattoos in his sleeve. It was 8. 8 tattoos of small things that represent yn. He got the words ‘love, mine, yours, hurt, intimacy, weakened, tenderness and attached.’ He loves her. Shes his. He is hers. Hurting that he cant see her. The intimacy he feels for her can never be weakened. Jungkooks tenderness is attached to her love.

It may not make sense but I promise you, its feels like a message to him. Those are the words she makes him feel.

And if he doesnt get to show her those things any time soon, he might actually snap.

While practicing on the stage, his heart was racing. He couldnt wait to see her walk on stage so heavenly. Just then there she was. In just some tights and a baggy shirt. Hair pinned up but man even in comfort she was beautiful.

Jungkook looked like he saw the love of his life. If only yn didnt look like she feared for hers. Yn was scared to even be scared. To even show how scared she was.

“ keep it calm, yn… you got this…” she whispered to herself. “ its only one performance. After that you are good. Just avoid him for now.”

As if that would go past Him. “ Ynnie~” he sang and smiled brightly waving at her from the stage. Yn waved back while standing next to tom below the stage.

God, Jungkook hated tom. As if you didnt know that already.

he felt as though he was in the way more and more each time. Why are they so close? What cause hes her manager? So? They dont have to be close because of that.

I know what you all have been waiting on. What happened that night? Well Jungkook knew that she wouldnt just allow him to go with her or anything like that.

the way they reacted to meeting each other you would think they never seen each other. But thats not half the truth.

Jungkook, as a huge fan, of course hes been to her concerts when he was younger. Front row. Maybe this is what started this weird obsession with her?

He doesn’t remember when it started but hes glad it did. Every weverse live he does, yn’s music or simply a youtube video is playing in the background. It’s become so normal that even the army are used to it. They support it but they dont know how deep this goes.

“ tom needs to be dead…” jungkook thought to himself while he watched them.

“He will die…”

It was time for the performance and Jungkook was ready. But once again, he saw Tom standing next to stage talking to yn.

Without thinking he walked up behind him and from where Tom was standing it was a area for sound and devices and stage material was at. Falling from there would cause serious injury…

5 month injury… maybe death.

Jungkook smirked and instantly pushed Tom watching him fall into the pit. Quickly he acted as though he just got there and he called someone for help.

I saw everything..

“Im so sorry this happened to you Tom…” yn stated sitting in the chair next to the hospital bed.

“ Im fine, ynnie. Its just a few ribs and a leg. Doc said ill be good in a few weeks. How was the performance?”

Tom was such a sweet guy. No matter how much he got hurt he still didnt care about himself. Yn hates it but loves it.

“Are you kidding me? I was worried the entire time. I wanted to go with you on that ambulance- “ right when yn was about to speak about the accident more, in walks what seems to be a sad Jungkook.

Yn couldn’t believe her eyes. He has the audacity to show his face in this room, when HE is the reason Tom is hurt? Oh she was so piss she felt the steam coming out of her ears.

“Kook! Just in time! I called you so you could take her home? I would’ve done it but… physical cant.” Tom stated smiling lightly.

Whipping her head to Tom then to Jungkook.

If only he knew… he is the reason for all of this mess.

“Oh no i can call my friend to come get me-“

“No need. Im already here and its not a hassle. I dont mind taking you… home.” Looking back at Jungkook she saw him smiling.

Maybe because finally they can be alone together.

On the way down to the car lot, it felt like deja vu. Again yn is in a car lot scared but this time its with jungkook because of jungkook.

yn was thinking smarter she needed for Tom to know who pushed him. Believe her or not. She feared this would be the last time she was gonna be seen by anyone.

ynnie: T, I hope this message gets to you as as possible. Im scared… im scared that this might be the last time im ever seen in public. And i want you to know if i go missing, Jungkook is the reason why. He has this obsession over me and i think he might kidnap me… He also the reason why you are in the hospital. Read this as soon as possible..my location is on…

Pressing send she put her phone away realizing they were infront of Jungkooks car.

Wow, looks just like hers…

With precaution, she took out her pepper spray and hid it behind her purse.

Only she could save herself now..

“Wanna put your address in-“

“ im sure you dont need it, as you followed me home a few months ago…” she stated staring him. She will not hide the hate she feels for him. Jungkook simply let out a chuckle.

“Right…” he started the car and off into the night they were.

The car ride was silent. Yn was looking at her phone waiting Toms reply since she saw that hes seen it.

PING PING

In a hurry she looked at her phone and she promises she might have thrown up from what she read… it couldn’t be.

T: im so sorry

T: he told me that if i didnt give you to him i would be dead and my family would too… im sorry ynnie… im so so sorry… hes your manager now…

As if on queue… Still with you started playing on the radio. But before that she caught what the host said before that… “Yes! You heard the big news! BTS’s very own Jungkook has signed a contract with the beautiful Yn! He is now her manager and they have more songs on the way! In celebration we will play the song that started it all… Still with you!”

Looking up in pure shock and fear what she had just heard…

“ what did you do..” she mumbled feeling tears run down her face. Jungkook smiled and let out a chuckle.

“ Im starting us over. Im finally getting to have you. We made history and im so glad it wasn’t hard persuading Tom to give you over to me… he practically begged for me to take you.” He looked out the window before turning.

Yn was so lost that she didn’t even realize until now this was definitely not the way to her house.

He wasnt taking her home.

In a panic yn tried to use the pepper spraybut Jungkook quickly said “ I wouldn’t do that if I were you. We could get into a crash, my love. I dont want my lover getting hurt.” He grabbed it from her and threw it in the backseat

“ you never planned to take me home did you?” She mumbled while shaking vigorously. He hummed and nodded, “ No, I finally have you alone…

And you think i was going to just send you off? Absolutely not. Now sit back and enjoy the scenery. Youll be looking at this road a lot more on our way home…” without skipping s beat he turned up the radio and drove a little faster.

And once again Still With You… haunting her ears and soul.

I'll Look After You - Bucky x Y/N

This is my first ever fanfic. I dont know why I wrote this, I never ever thought I'd actually write a fic or post it. But this just wouldnt leave my head. I hope you enjoy and please give me feedback!

It had been a tough misson. They lost a lot of men. Bucky had gotten a bad concussion and broke two ribs. Despite Buckys protests that her was fine, he was put straight to the infirmary. He was told he would have to stay there for at least a week if not longer. At this news Bucky almost had a fit. He wanted to go back up in the air as soon as possible and 'show those Nazi pigs who's boss'. His protests went on deaf ears.

She noticed on the first night that he was awake much later than the other patients. She turned out the lights and told him to rest, to which he just nodded. At 4am when the other nurse came to take over; she noticed he was still awake. Surely soon sleep would take over him.

Bucky couldnt sleep. No, Bucky refused to sleep. With sleep came nightmares. Nightmares of torn off legs and burnt faces. Planes exploding right infront of his eyes. The sound of his men screaming in pain and fear. No. Bucky would not sleep.

The following night she was greeted to the same thing. All the men fast asleep and Major John Egan wide awake. Though it was clear by his sunken in eyes he was exhausted. He tried his best to hide his frequent yawns behind the book he was reading, but she could see and hear them clearly. 'Major Egan, you should be asleep by now.' 'I'm not tired.' he said as he fought back another yawn. 'You're exhausted. And your body needs sleep to recover. You'll never be cleared to get back in that plane if you dont sleep.' Noticing the stern look on her face Bucky decided to feign sleep so she would leave him alone. 'Fine, I'll go to sleep. Goodnight.' 'Goodnight Major.'

As much as he tried not to, Bucky did fall asleep as soon as he closed his eyes. Around forty minutes passed, forty minutes of blissful slumber. Cradled among the warm blankets and soft pillows of the infirmay; his body was totally serene. His mind however, was in turmoil. As the nightmares came once again, Bucky started to cry out in his sleep. 'Curt! Curt! Engine 3! Buck...' She heard him straight away, he wasnt the first pilot to have these types of dreams. His body thrashed against the bed. 'Major Egan, its okay, Major wake up.'

He shot upright in his bed with a scream. He wasnt flying the misson. He was in bed, with two thin arms wrapped around his torso. He looked at her then, really looked at her. She was scared. A shocked and timid look on her face. Was she scared of him? 'I'm sorry, I dont know what-' 'You had a nightmare. It's okay. It's normal.' Normal. Bucky did not feel normal. He had always been able to keep his cool. Not feel a thing. Now all he could do was feel. Feel the ache in his soul and the ache in his ribs. 'I'm sorry Nurse...' 'Y/N' she said with a warm smile. She was sitting on the edge of his bed. He hadnt seen her this up close before. She had long hair, it looked soft. Her eyes were kind, and her gentle smile made him feel something he wasnt sure of. 'Y/N' he played with her name on his tongue, he liked the way it sounded. It suited her perfectly.

He tried to sit up against the headboard, make himself look less vulnerable. As he moved he gasped at the stabbing pain in his ribs. 'God damn!' 'Easy there Major, let me help.' She adjusted his pillows and helped prop him up. She was so close he could smell her perfume. Warm, vanilla, like a freshly baked cookie. But also spicy. He felt intoxicated. He missed the last thing she said to him he was in such a trance. 'I'm sorry what did you say?' With concern all over her pretty face, she said 'I'm just going to get you some more pain meds okay?' she turned and walked to the medicine cabinet.

He took a deep breath and tried to calm his heart rate. He wasnt sure if it was going so fast because of the nightmare, or her. She returned a moment later with two painkillers and a glass of water. 'Here you go Major.' He took the pills from her delicate hand. 'Bucky. You can call me Bucky.' He swallowed the pills. 'Mm Bucky. Cool nickname.' His heart skipped a beat hearing his name from her mouth. And she thought it was cool? He felt like a fourteen year old again. 'You should go back to sleep Major. You need your rest.' Bucky knew there wasnt a hope in hell of him going back to sleep, but he smiled and nodded so to not dissapoint her.

An hour later she was doing her rounds, checking on each patient; most of who were sleeping. Except one. Major John 'Bucky' Egan. 'Bucky, why arent you sleeping?' He lifted the book in his hands 'It's just this book Y/N, I gotta know how it ends!' She smirked, 'I saw you finish that book yesterday.' His face grew red. He'd been caught. But he couldnt possibly humiliate himself by admitting he was afraid of going to sleep for fear of his own mind.

Y/N could see it. Just as she'd seen it plenty times before. Though this case was definetly the worst. She didnt know much about Bucky, but the way the other nurses talked about his charm and swagger made her this he was not the type of man who would willingly admit his fear. She wouldnt force him to either. She grabbed the chair next to his bed and pulled it closer. She picke up the book from his lap and opened it on the first page and started reading. 'In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I've been turning over in my mind...' 'What are you doing?' The confusion on Buckys face would have made a great picture. 'You've read this book twice in two days? I have to see what all the fuss is about.' She continued to read out loud in a soft melodic voice. A voice so soothing and gentle it sent Bucky straight to sleep. Even after he nodded off Y/N kept reading. Hoping that her voice could reach him in his dreams and keep him away from the darkness that lurked in his mind.

The next morning, Bucky awoke to a sight so rare, so unthinkable, he had to blink several times to make sure it was real. Y/N was still by his side, asleep on the small wooden chair, her cardigan draped over her. She had stayed, stayed by his side all night long. It was at this moment Bucky realised this was the first night in a long time he'd slept the whole night through without a single nightmare. Because she was there to protect him.

In one of your posts (the favorite ship list), you mentioned that Ochaco is the more "masculine" in IzuOcha relationship, care to explain the reasoning behind that assessment?

Soft Boy & Tough Girl

Yeah, sure, and here’s what i mean in this post when i said Uraraka is the ‘masculine one’ in their relationship;

Izuku is unique shounen character for having alive mother because most of the shounen male characters lost their mother in some way or another and Izuku’s father doesnt seem to be around either. Which is also why having a loving mother is the reason why Izuku is soft.

Something i really like about Izuku’s character is; Izuku cries when he is sad. He just cries, feels scared and he doesnt feel shame for crying or being scared. He doesnt feel any shame for being vulnerable. And i really like that about him because it is really rare to see in a male character.

Traits traditionally viewed as masculine in Western society include strength, courage, independence, leadership, and assertiveness.

Basically, Izuku is not masculine guy. He doesnt have any strength, he is scared, he is more follower type than leader, he has very low esteems. Especially at the start of series. This is who Izuku is.

He is just a normal boy and the reason i like this is because in media, we get many male characters who is most likely masculine, most of the time, they suffer from toxic masculinity, they feel insecure and lash out and sadly, audience seems to like it.

And later in series, even Deku gets stronger, even he gets confidence, become leader, or braver, he is not trying to look himself more masculine. He is not trying to dominate other people in any way. Basically, he doesnt show toxic masculinity.

And i like Izuku is not like that. We always gets to see bad examples of when a boy shows his vulnerable, he gets to hear ‘you are not man enough’, ‘you have to be strong’ but i like that story tells Izuku opposite.

‘Is your burden so heavy that it doesnt even let you cry? It looks like something you should share with us.’

Also when Izuku says 'heroes dont cry', Shouto is the one who reminds him again that its okay to cry. (This is also why i ship Tododeku too.)

The thing is some people is more sensitive to emotions, some people cry more easiely than others and thats how Izuku is. Izuku is very soft boy, he is very empathic, he is sensitive to other people’s emotions and he cry easiely and that is okay.

Compared to Izuku, Ochaco is kinda opposite.

She is tomboy but not your usual tomboy you see in media. She is not wearing boy clothes or extreme feminine clothes. She is just tough and she has the confidence. She wears whatever she feels comfortable with. Its like it doesnt matter to her and i love that.

Though, Ochaco is the one who seems to repress her sadness and any other negative feelings compared to Izuku who shows it freely. Which is why i think Ochaco is comfortable with him, even in novel she says, the first day at school seeing Izuku like that made her comfortable because she realized she wasnt the only one who felt nervous.

Also, unlike the ‘boy save the girl’ trope, in their relationship, its opposite. Its the ‘girl saves the boy’. Ochaco is Izuku’s hero since day one. The fact that before he was powerless, before the time he proved his worth to others, the fact that she showed kindness to him means a lot to Izuku. She was always kind to him, even when he was at his worst. Their helping each others happens too. Ochaco feels admiration towards him and think about him a lot, (writing has its flaws) but whenever Izuku thinks about his most important people in life, she is always part of it.

And another reason why i like izuocha and not other ships with her that much is because even though, Izuku was never masculine guy, Ochaco doesnt seem to see him as less guy or less attractive. Actually, seeing him so true to himself is what makes him attractive to her. Instead of populer guys in her class such as Bakugou who is good example of toxic masculinity or Shouto who seems tough and perfect, at least from outside. She just loves Izuku. She loves the boy whom everyone sees him as loser but to her, he was never a loser, she never sees him crying as annoying or bad thing, it is just part of him and she accepts it. And not only Ochaco doesnt mind Izuku's being vulnerable but also Izuku doesnt mind being protected by her, it doesnt feel him any inferior, actually it only makes him happy.

And when Izuku is vulnerable, instead of judging him, she holds his hand and says ‘Its okay’ and she is like ‘i am gonna protect this boy’. Unlike the usual romance where men always protect the women, Ochaco protects Izuku and thats fine because it doesnt matter if its a boy or girl. The one who needs help deserves to be protected. In this relationship, boy is the more vulnerable and emotional one and she helps him. Thats okay, this is normal, this is what healthy, supportive relationship is.

And this is the reason i love Izuocha at first place. Yes, writing has so much flaws but i love their origin relationship. And i hope we get better writing but well, its very nice ship.

I know people kinda moved onto band!slytherin but i had a thought about the mafia!Enzo you were thinking about. Right, so Enzo x reader are established and on the surface are the cute, coquette(??) IT couple but theyre both actual psychopaths. Like if you arent 'theirs' you should be scared.

But i have this senario stuck in my head where reader is dressed cute but has just inacted violence so calmly on someone at the club (same situation as Protego) and Mattheo has come out with an exasperated sigh.

Reader: no. You talked about not getting blood everywhere. I made sure there was no blood.

Mattheo: *rubbing face in fustration* i wasnt talking specifically about the blood. You cant just stab whoever you want, whenever you want.

Reader: *getting progressively more upset* first you said no curses. Then you said no blood. And NOW youre saying no stabbing?? Whats next, no Enzo!!!!

Pansy: but that was our new dancer!!

Reader: well, she should have kept her bitchy comments about my socks to herself *wiggles ruffle sock covered foot at her*

Mattheo: *starts drinking straight form the bottle* merlin help you, you need a baptism.

In the background: Theo dramatically gasps, Enzos cackling, draco is horrified by y/n lack of shoes and Blaise has cleaned your wand after removing it from the dancers chest.

Anyway darling, love you lots xx if you end up writing something with this, amazing, and if you dont, no problem. I figured you might like the dialogue dancing around my brain atm and had to share 🤍

Love the dialogue and just love Mattheo being like…big brother esque frustrated lol

I can order Some heartbreak with Ramattra. The reader (human) is Ramattra's partner, he doesn't like to see onomics suffer either, so he supports him unconditionally. The problem is that Ramattra begins to complain a lot about humans, like they are weak, they only care about themselves, thanks to them animals and onomics have suffered equally, etc (very offensive things) that make the reader feel bad . The reader knows that war is in no way something she could avoid and Ramattra knows this, he does not blame the reader. But the reader feels uncomfortable every time ramattra starts insulting humans to the point that during one of his complaints in their shared room the reader gets up and leaves the room. And he proceeds to avoid it, Ramattra then realizes that he screwed up and now he must apologize but his pride as (what did I say now?? they are) makes it difficult

You stayed at the Null Sector while Ramattra is out there in the war against Omnics and Human. You and Ramattra know each other for so long even before He really hated Humans. You two are even together for nearly 4 years. But you slowly start to feel unsure. You love him while you whole heart and you know he loves you as well. Its just now hearing him talk about humans lately so bad it feels like he talks about you like this. Deep down you know He never means any harm not even in words. But your head is louder.

You heard loud footsteps outside of the room before the doors Open. You dont need to look to see who it was "Hello Darling" Ramattra deep voice was heard in the room. You stood up and walked over to him ready to give him a hug. He put his staff aside and opened his arms for you. You hugged him and feel him picking you up so he can hold you against his chest feeling your breath and heartbeat. Things that always calms him down because they let him know you are still there and not just some Imagination.

"I missed you" you finally said buring your face in his scarf. "I missed you as well, my dear" still with you in his arms He made his way other to the bed you two share and sat down Not letting go of you anytime soon. "Will you tell me what happened today?" you now look up at him. "Are you Sure? It wasnt really that of a pretty sign." "I know Hun, but i know it helps you to let go and relax a bit." after hearing this Ramattra chuckled a little. "You know me to well. Alright i will tell you."

And he did. He told you how He protect an omnic who got nearly beaten to death by a group of young drunk men. Hoping He didnt murder them he actually said He spared them because they werent in the right mindset but If He saw them doing this again he wont be so greatful. "Do you think i did the right Thing? Letting them go." now he looked at you searching for an answer. "I think so. Like you Said they werent in the right mindset because they were drunk. So showing them it doesnt have to end in violence is a good step." what surprised you was when he stood up nearly dropping you because you were still on his lap.

"I should have done more! They are human. Humans dont change, they cant Change! All they know is how to make other specifics suffer. And If its Not enought they make sure other humans suffer as Well! There is no way so do things peacful they only know violence so must give it to them." you stopped listing to him. You know he isnt talking about you but it still hurts hearing him saying all of this. There are Humans that are good. They are just to scared to show it. You didnt paid any attention anymore and stood up. You can feel tears in your eyes but you try not to let them Out yet. "I.. I need some fresh air" and with that you left.

Ramattra heard how your voice was shaking how you were shaking. At first he thought something upset you until he realized it was him who upset you. He always knew that you are to kind for this world but he forgot you were indeed human to. He probably made you think he was meaning all of these bad things to you as well. "Idiot." for the first time in a while He truly feels like an Idiot. The only Human he cares for and loves thinks now he hates them. He quickly made his way out of the room trying to find you but you arent in sign.

It took him 10mins to find you outside. Its night and the sky is clear showing all of the bright stars. He saw you sitting in the ground knees to your chest and head resting in them. Slowly He walked over to you and when he is next to you He sits down next to you not saying anything while his gaze is on the sky. He is trying to find the right words. He knows he messed but he doesnt know how to apologize. He isnt the type to do it.

"My dear, im sorry" he started hoping to get your attention. He saw from the corner that you now look at him wanting him to keep going. "You know i never mean these things to you. You are nothing like the rest. You are pure, kind and so nice to everyone who doesnt deserve it. You are to good for the world" he meant every Word. You are to good for this all, to good for him. "I never want for you to feel unworth it, never to be sad. You are the only human i care about. And i hope to never lose you. I truly love you (y/n)." Ramattra let you have your time to think. He hoped you believe him because every word is true. And His biggest fear is to lose you that you leave him and that he would be alone with none He cared for.

"I love you too Ramattra." looking down to you he saw you were now looking up to him. He saw your eyes were red and face wet from crying. Out of instinct he wrapped his arms around you and pulls you closer to him. "Im sorry my Dear. From now on i hold my thoughts back. I promise" "Thank you Ram." you two stayed like this for a while before he picks you up and carrys you back to the shared room. He felt how your breathing becomes more even looking down at you He saw that you slowly fall asleep in His arm.

Ramattra arrived at the bedroom with you in arms. He carfully opeded the door not waking you up. He made his way to the bed and lays down with you in his arm. "You are the most important thing in my Life. I hope to spend it with you." And with that the went into restmode knowing you are there with him.

“You… you work for the Mind Flayers?” Eddie swiveled from where he was tinkering on a bike in his garage. His face drained as he locked eyes with steve, the other mans face full of hurt and confusion, his arms crossed over his chest defensively, “why didnt you tell me?” Eddie started to scramble pushing his stool back noisily. He almost tossed his wrench into his tool chest, but decided against it on the off chance steve would retaliate,

“I, uh, thought you knew.”

“Bullshit.” steve spat, and eddie couldnt refute it because it was, in fact, bullshit. He wasn't trying to hide his associations but he also never told steve,

“Look, man, I didnt have any ulterior motives, ok?”

“You really expect me to believe that? I…” Steve ran his hand down his face, landing it over his mouth before dropping it to his side, “What have you told them? Atleast give me the dignity of knowing what ends i have to clean up.”

Eddie frowned, “ I havent told them anything. They dont know that were friends, Steve.” He took a step forward, halting when he sees steve move back, “How did you find out, anyway?”

“Somebody saw us at the Hangout and told Robin. They thought we were scheming or some shit. She came to me first cause she knew i’d never betray the club, but…” he crossed his arms again, “If they had gone to anybody else we’d be screwed. I mean, god knows who else has seen us out.”

“Shit.”

“Yeah, shit.”

“So what do we do?” Eddie felt like he knew the answer, he just really hoped steve wouldnt say it. Steve threw his head back, double handedly pushing his hair out of his face and doing a full turn in frustration, “God fucking dammit, eddie.” He turned back to the long haired man, his expression sad and defeated. Eddie spoke up,

“We cant see eachother anymore, can we?” He didnt mean to make it sound like a break up, even though it felt like one.

“I dont want that.” Steve said quietly just above a whisper. Eddies heart stuttered and dropped into his stomach, “Do you?” steve asked. He was looking through his eyelashes sadly, and god eddie wished he could take the mans face into his hands and comfort him,

“Id rather die.” Eddie said, and as soon as he said it he realized he was telling a complete truth. Something soft flitted across steves face and he took a couple steps forward. He furrowed his brow before taking his last full step,

“Why didnt you tell me you were with the mind flayers?” there was less anger when he asked this time around, “You knew i was with the Demo Dogs, and you said nothing.” finally tossing the wrench to the side, Eddie took his turn to cross his arms, as steve asked, “Were you scared?”

“A little.”

“Why?”

“When we first met, and we talked about bikes and travel and shit, i asked the guys if we could try recruiting you. Thats when they told me who you were. I got grilled, man. They asked how much i told you and whether they should jump you or not. I promised i wouldnt see you again, didnt tell them anything but how we discussed brands. but then there you were after my show and… i just couldnt stay away.” Eddie gave a sad laugh, “Guess you could say it was your pretty face that brought me back, harrington.” eddie looked everywhere but at steve, “And after their reaction to you, i wasnt sure how you would react… to me.” He looked directly at him as he said the last two words, “They always talked about the leader of the Demo Dogs, talked about how you practically ruled the town, nobody fucked with you. They all had different tales about you and that scary bat of yours. I would kill to see their faces if i told them you do abba at karaoke to unwind.” Eddie grinned, finally meeting steves stare. Steve gave a lopsided smile, turning beet red,

“I swear, munson, if you tell anyone about that i will have your head on a pike.” but there was no malice to his words, it was a simple jest and eddie knew he was safe with steve.

Warnings - Fluff angst, threatening maybe a little violence

“You should have known the magic wouldn’t work on me darling.”

“Demetri.”

I say spinning around facing the vampire standing in my living room a look of disappointment and anger spreading across his face.

“What the hell were you think Y/N!”

He yells at me and I flinch a little, Demetri was my best friend pretty much a brother to me sure over the years we have had fights but he had never yelled at me with such frustration and disappointment in his voice before.

“I was trying to protect you! You Felix Jane Alec. I was trying to protect you all.”

“Then use a spell that blocks our memories but erasing you from them Y/N, do you know the hell us four have been in the few last days! We have all felt like something is missing and cannot figure out what it is!”

“How did you remember me?”

“The spell put on me when I met you as a human it made the magic fade quicker when i remembered you and your own mate didnt i knew you were doing something stupid.”

“Hang on rewind you remember meeting me before you turned.”

“Of course i do, you were and are my bestfriend.”

DEMETRIS POV FLASHBACK

Alec Jane and I walk back to where we see felix sitting alone on the bench a sad and confused look on his face.

‘Fe, whats wrong?’

‘I dont know, I can’t remember.’

‘Demetri, Felix we must go and report to aro, whoever it was we were looking for isnt here.’

We quickly nodded and Janes words before following her, all of us headed back to Volterra. Something felt different we could all feel it but none of us knew what was wrong all we know was it felt as though something was missing.

We had been back in the castle for less than 24hrs when my memories started flashing back to me. The first one to come back was finding Y/N in the woods outside my home town back when i was still human, Y/N stayed with me for a little over a year both of us becoming inseparable i learned what she was she was scared i would turn her away but instead i hugged her, i remember the night we sat around the fire Y/N next to me eyes closed mumbling a few words before i blacked out, when i woke she told me she had put a spell on my to ensure my mind would always be protect from people digging through it or people using magic against me, at the time she didnt realise that it would also allow me to block Aro from seeing all my memories, i even remember the day she disappeared i wasnt sure where she went but then i remembered meeting her in Egypt once again after Amun turned me i saw that she recognised me however she shook her head slightly, she wanted to keep it a secret that we had met, i remember her breaking Chelsea hold on my telling me to leave and me arguing that i would not leave her again, she introduced me to her mate and one of my closest friends as well as two small vampires who would become my siblings, over 1000 years of memories came flasing back to me at once i dropped to my floor gripping my head and yelling in pain.

Felix came bursting through my door, quickly followed by Jane and Alec all concerned that they heard me scream,

“Demetri.” I could her Felix’s voice “Demetri whats happening.”

“Y/N” i whispered “where is she what has she done?”

“Demetri, who is Y/N?” Felix asked, i quickly regained composure to look at my 3 friends all with a confused look on their faces. I knew Y/N had done something stupid but I underestimated just how stupid.

“She is no one sorry just someone i knew as a human.” I say quickly with no hesitation “i think i need to go for a walk do excuse me.”

“I think that is a good idea,” Jane said softly she knew something was wrong but knew better than to question it. “Do hurry back though we leave for Forks soon.”

I started searching for the tenor i knew so well when i found it near Rio, a bright yellow tenor that matched her personality so well. she wasn’t using her gift, i thought it was odd if she wanted to disappear then again she thought we didnt remember her.

As i made my way toward Rio i followed her tenor i noticed her leave rio before returning i knew the apartment she had been staying at so the moment i touched down in Rio i headed to her.

Y/N POV

I listened as Demetri recapped the last few days. When suddenly my phone rings.

“Alice, what is it.”

“The Volturi, they are coming sooner than we thought.”

“When will they be there?”

“Tomorrow.” She said quietly over the phone before hanging up. I look toward Demetri he nods quickly tracking the guard.

“She is right they will be there be late tomorrow.” I quickly dial the number of the phone i had left with Nahuel.

“Y/N, its a little early.”

“Leave now the Volturi have moved up their time frame, we are leaving tonight.”

I quickly run around packing my clothes back in the bag i had just unpacked.

“Was that another hybrid?”

“Yes he is helping prove the cullen child wont be a danger to humanity.”

“Arent you enough proof.”

“Demetri, no one knows about me it is the best kept secret in the world the only ones who knew were you Felix and the twins.”

“Plus i am not a hybrid, not like they are.”

“So what is the plan?”

“You need to go back to the others.”

“No chance.”

“Dem…..”

“I will not let you do whatever stupid thing you are about to do alone.”

“Okay than you need to know i have endgame about this.”

“Which is?”

“I am going to kill Aro.”

Well, good day, my dearest horror podcast Virgil,

I, surprisingly to myself, actually finished "I am in Eskew" and enjoyed it quite a bit (which, I guess, could have been deduced by how much I spammed in the tag) even more surprisingly, considering I'm absolutely not a horror person - I substitute horror movies with their wikipedia retellings. Unironically.

Anyway, firstly, thank you! I definitely would have never discovered it without your recommendations!

Secondly, maybe you have something else like that stashed up your sleeve? I definitely need some time to recuperate, but I would like to explore more cool podcasts. (The only two limitations: short-ish - not much longer than this one, the view of a hundred+ episodes scares me; not gorier than this one/no actual jump scares - again, I'm a scardicat.) I remember you talking about "Mabel Podcast" and at the first glance it seems neat, but I'd like to hear your comments on it first.

i do want to mention that the creator of eskew also has another podcast called The Silt Verses, personally i havent listened to it for weird brain reasons so not sure how well it fits your criteria but ive heard its also very good

mabel podcast is another favorite! the creators of mabel and the creator of i am in eskew were both inspired by shirley jackson's the haunting of hill house to an extent iirc, so even though the stories are very different some elements of them have a similar 'feel' to them imo. i will say that mabel is very different stylistically though (especially the earlier episodes) which in my experience people seem to either love or hate. whereas in eskew you get a pretty continuous narration from david or riyo, in mabel youre mostly listening in on a series of somewhat disjointed voicemail messages. id definitely recommend at least giving the first few episodes a go, dont get discouraged if you dont feel like you dont understand whats happening right away. all you really need to know about the story going in is that youre following Anna, whos a live-in carer for an old woman named Sally. Anna is trying to contact Sallys next of kin (the titular Mabel), but shes strangely out of reach.

ok i know you said youre not a huge horror person but if you ever are feeling a little more daring id suggest trying out The White Vault. theres a small amount of gore (descriptions of finding hearts and teeth) and some uh. wet ripping sounds in it but its really not that bad all things considered, just know that it is straight horror though. its a found footage podcast that follows a group of people whove been hired to check out a remote outpost in northern norway thats gone dead, but a storm leaves them stranded there, and as time goes on it becomes clear that they arent exactly alone. this ones a little longer i think, but tbh ive only listened to the first two seasons, it felt like a natural place for the story to end to me

and then on the complete opposite side of the spooky podcast spectrum, if you want something thats a ghost story but really not horror at all imo, i just finished listening to Midnight Radio a few weeks back. this ones *really* short, like 10 episodes that are ~20 minutes each short, so its definitely lower commitment. in this one youre listening in on a radio show hosted by Sibyl, who died decades earlier but can still be heard waxing poetic about her hometown in the dead of night.

ok LAST ONE havent finished it so wasnt sure if i should rec it but a lot of people on my dash hype up Archive 81 so i thought id mention it at least. guy is hired to listen through a bunch of creepy tapes in some archive out in the middle of no where. classic horror podcast stuff. similar to eskew in that it pivots from mostly being mostly anthology into an overarching plot as you go on

You had been away on a works business trip for the last week, you weren't always a fan of travel when it was work involved, especially with the motels they would book for everyone who worked in the company. They would never be very comfortable or quiet, unlike your flat and bed at home, and you were longing for the comfort of your own bed for so long now. It was about 7.30 at night by the time you got back to your flat, you had just got through the door and decided to text your boyfriend Terry. You loved Terry, he was gorgeous and always treated you well, better than any other man ever has, not to mention he had a GREAT body. So you sent him a text saying that you had arrived back after your works trip, and you were walking through the hallway to your living room when you see your exercise bike, you instantly get the idea to do a little workout. It had been a long day and you wanted to relax from all the travel, working out helped you feel better. So you go to your room, change into some comfortable clothes and get going on the exercise bike. You stand up and are about to walk over to the drinks cabinet, but he takes your hand and looks you in the eye. "Y/N, I promise I will explain everything to you, I'm sorry for scaring you ok? I love you, and I'm sorry" "I know you are, I love you too" You gave him a small smile and walked over to the drinks cabinet, pouring him a glass of his favourite whiskey. He came over to you, gave you a sweet kiss before you handed him his drink. He then took a seat by your piano and explained everything that had happend to him, and what was possibly going to happen if he didn't get you somewhere safe. "Oh wow, I can't believe this is happening Terry, what are we going to do?" "I'm going to drive both of us to this little safe house. It's the only place I can think of where I know I can protect you" "Terry this is a lot to-....Terry? Why is your coat moving on the sofa?" You reach over and lift it up, revealing the tiny little kitten underneath. "She was a birthday present, from..." "Oh...god babe I'm sorry he's gone" "Its ok, I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure the b#stards who did this will pay for k#lling him. But yes, this little fluffy girl was a birthday present" "Terry she's adorable" You say as you gently take her into your arms and stroke her. Get anything essential and let's get going" He had been a police officer for many years, and you knew when it was a really dangerous situation, you could see it in his eyes. Doing as he said, you grab your things and head down to his car waiting outside, and within about an hour and a half, you had arrived outside this house in the middle of nowhere. It was still very cold and snowy outside, so you were eager to get in and warm up, but it seems that the electricity had gone out. You put your things in the bedroom when Terry was lighting some candles to try and brighten up the place, there were hundreds of candles to when he was finished, it actually looked quite nice. And by the time you finished making the place look better, you had actually warmed up a little too. You were just walking past Terry in the dining room when you notice something wrong. "Terry?" "Yeh?" "Your bleeding" "Am I?" "Yes your bleeding right hear on your arm" You run your hands over his arms to where you see the blood. "What happened?" "It must have just been a small injury from when I got caught up in that fight I told you about. I'll be fine" "Take your shirt off, I'll clean it up" "Y/N I'm fine" "That's wasn't a question Terry, take off that shirt" He smirked, because he knew how protective you were of him. You rummage through the cupboard at find a first aid kit as he takes his first shirt off, leaving him in just a vest. You sit on the table and make him stand right infront of you, so your able to wipe away the blood and neatly bandage up the injury he sustained. Just as soon as you finished cleaning his arm up, you put the kit down, and his lips are on yours.

"Terry..." "I'm sorry about tonight Y/N, I know this must be difficult for you. Leaving your home and having to hide. Please let me make this better" "Terry you've had a long and very difficult day, your a little tipsy and your hurt too. Are you sure you don't just need some sleep?" "I don't need sleep Y/N, I just need you...please...please kiss me again" He was too precious, you couldn't resist his sweet words and beautiful body, and deep down, you know he needed to release some tention. You kissed him back, just as passionately as he did before, he holds your face as he shows you exactly how he feels about you.

The Vytal Tournament was delayed a couple of years. Blake went through a lot of recovery and growth, but just when she thinks she can ask Ruby out at last, she finds her dating Emerald. Blake then mopes about it.

Blake felt her heart break as she watched Ruby and Emerald kiss at one of the food stalls on the festival grounds. She took a breath to keep herself calm and sat down to keep herself from running over to Ruby. Of course Ruby’s with Emerald now, Blake thought to herself. “I waited too long and now she’s moved on."

“You know, the longer you stare the more its going to hurt you,” Yang said as she sat down next to Blake.

“So, what, I should just avoid her?” Blake asked.

“Avoiding her isnt going to fix it either. You’ll still have to see her during our fight and we need you to have your head clear.”

“Its… not that simple.” Blake let out a sigh and watched Ruby and Emerald, her voice cracked as she held back the pain she felt. “I wanted to be the one to make Ruby happy and I waited too long. I know I should’ve asked her before, but I… I was scared.”

“Look, I get it, but I think you’re beating yourself up over nothing right now.” Yang turned around to move her gaze to Pyrrha and Jaune. “Thing is, asking earlier might not have helped. A couple years ago, she wasnt ready to be in a relationship. Between helping you with the White Fang, arresting Roman, the threats on our school, Doctor Merlot’s experimental grimm that attacked Vale… Ruby’s mind has been elsewhere.”

“Are you still talking about Ruby or is your mind on Jaune now?”

“We can leave my issues out of it.”

Blake rolled her eyes and looked away from her team leader. “RIght.”

“All I’m saying is that even if you had asked a few months ago, a year ago, or even back when we first became a team, Ruby wouldn’t have been ready.” Yang put a reassuring hand on Blake’s shoulder and gave her a soft smile. “That doesnt mean you have to give up or just accept this without question. You can still show her you care about her by backing her up and being there when things do go south.”

“I know, but… I just…” Blake sighed and dropped her head to the table. “When we first met, she reminded me a lot of myself when I was younger, and who Adam used to be. I saw the passion she had to do the right thing like Adam used to, and the way she looked at fairytales the same way I did. But I think what really made me realize my feelings for her was the way she’s followed through with her words. ‘That’s why we’re here, to make things better for everyone.’ Words that I thought were just to impress me, but watching her made me realize that she truly believed in them.”

Yang nodded and pulled her hand away from Blake. “Then stay by her side. Sure, you’re not her partner, but you’re still her friend and she still cares about you. What she has with Emerald isnt going to last forever and all you have to do is be there for her when things end between them.”

Blake sighed and nodded as she slowly sat up. She knew Yang had a point, but at the same time, part of her felt like there was more to it. “So, you dont think they actually love each other?”

“No, I just think that what they have is in the moment. No real substance and probably more of a fling over anything else.”

Blake turned around to watch Ruby and Emerald again. She watched every movement the two of them made and paused when she saw a small necklace around Rubys’ neck with a green gemstone glinting in the light. “No real substance, huh?”

Yang nodded and started to focus on her food. “Yeah. The two have been talking for a couple months now, but until we all made it here to Atlas, its been a few quick conversations between the two.”

Blake got up and started to walk to Ruby. “I’m going to check out what the rest of the festival has to offer. I’ll meet you back at the dorm later.”

“Sure thing Blakey.”

Blake kept herself hidden among the crowd of visitors as she made her way closer. The only necklace she knew Ruby had was the one she had gotten for her birthday: a small silver chain with a rose charm and a ruby in the center.

“You know, maybe after the tournament, we can see each other some more.”

Blake’s ears twitched as she heard Emerald’s voice over the noise of the crowd. She made her way to a small stall behind Ruby and Emerald and listened quietly to them as they talked.

“Sure, I wouldnt mind that. Though, it might be hard with you graduating this year and heading off on missions.”

“Dont worry about that. In a couple days, everything will be ready for us to be able to spend more time together,” Emerald said.

“You sure?” Ruby asked. “I figured you’d want to get a few missions under your belt instead of sticking near me.”

“Ruby, you can trust me on this. I have everything under control.”

Blake turned around to watch Emerald place a hand on Ruby’s necklace and watched the stone start to glow. Her ears started to flatten as she watched Ruby lean into the touch. She turned back around as Ruby and Emerald started to get up and walk off, her ears followed the sounds of their footsteps. She quickly pulled out her scroll and texted Yang as she stood up.

Ruby in trouble, following to help her.

Blake turned her scroll off and followed after Ruby and Emerald, her eyes glued to them as she followed. She was going to save Ruby no matter what.
