Neighborly Favors
baby!spencer x fem!reader
based on this request from @spencergubler
spencer discovers what his neighbor does for a living, and she offers to give him a show EDIT: i realized after posting i switch from using third person/‘she’ to second person/‘you’ halfway through. my excuse is i was sleep deprived. hope you can overlook the error!
wc: 2.3k. cw: none
He's only ever seen his neighbor in passing, catching the flash of her coat as she enters her apartment while he's leaving his, or seeing the top of her head as she's walking by on the street when he looks down from his window. Most people don't take enough interest in their neighbors to care to get to know them, and normally Spencer wouldn't care either. Except this neighbor plays some pretty interesting music, which he can hear through the thin walls connecting their apartments.
He's not exactly sure what she's doing when she's playing her music loudly, but it doesn't sound like she's with anyone. And not that he's trying to invade her privacy, but he also doesn't hear anything happening that's remotely as sexual as what the music is. It kind of sounds like she's working out? He's not sure.
What little information he has on her only inspires his mind to think of her more often. To solve the mystery of his next-door neighbor, who comes home just as he's leaving for work, who he thinks always looks pretty despite never having seen her face.
Unfortunately, his sweet, innocent mind doesn't consider what most would think is the obvious answer. He has to find that out himself after he finally sees her, properly, in the hallway, trying to break into own apartment by picking the lock.
"Are you locked out?" He manages to speak calmly even though his mind is racing looking at her. She has on a short coat that stops just above her knees, and a pair of heels that look incredibly tall. All he he sees between are long, bare legs.
"Yeah.” She sighed, dropping the bobby pin she jammed into the lock. “Can I wait in yours until the maintenance guy comes?"
And he has no idea how he doesn't just pick up his feet and start running, but he actually lets her in, and now it's just the two of them sitting on his couch, multiple feet apart as they try to find conversation to fill the awkward silence.
"So... what do you do for work?"
"I'm a dancer."
"Oh... like ballet or-"
She looks at him like he's grown a second head and laughs, "I'm an exotic dancer."
"Oh."
He folds his hands in his lap and is suddenly extremely red. From the embarrassment of looking stupid in front of her, for one. And a bit because now he's thinking about her, in those exact high heels she has on, dancing in a dark room.
"These aren't the shoes I wear for that."
His head snaps up at her, terrified he’d said those thoughts out loud. He must not have realized he'd been staring down at her shoes for a moment too long, and that given her profession, she can tell when a guy's looking at her a certain way. Lucky for him, she finds his bashful innocence to be endearingly cute.
"They're a lot taller than this. I just wear these to get to and from work. You can see them sometime," she shrugs. Too coolly offering to show Spencer what she looks like when she dances.
He really doesn't know what to say, it probably should not have been what he ended up saying, "So the music from your place then?" He blinks at her, hands holding his knees so he has something to do with them. When she doesn't answer right away, he offers his signature frog smile, feeling incredibly awkward still.
"Sorry, didn't realize it was so loud." She looks genuinely apologetic, and it makes him feel bad for saying it like that.
"No, I mean- I mean is that like, the music that..." She knows what he's trying to ask, but it's just so much more fun watching him squirm trying to figure out how to word it in a tactful way. "Is that what you listen to at work?"
God, he's so cute, managing to find the most unassuming way to ask that. "It's what I dance to, at work, yes."
"Cool." He has no idea why he asked that. Or where to take the conversation from there. Now he's just sitting in that silence again, staring pointedly at his floor as he ignores the new mental image of her next door, kept apart from him by only a paper thin wall as she practices her routines in her living room.
Spencer's not a creepy guy, he's really not, but he feels like one when he's picturing his neighbor naked while she's sitting right next to him.
And who is she helping when she takes off her coat (because Spencer's apartment is eighty degrees)? Certainly not Spencer, who is half-expecting her to be wearing her uniform underneath. He's relieved when it's actually just a dress. And then he hates himself for thinking it wouldn't be.
She’s too sharp to not catch the look that flashed across his face as she took it off. Curious, excited. Maybe a little lustful. Nervous, for sure. But curious is what she was going to cling onto.
“Do you at least like some of the songs?” She said behind a devilish grin.
“I uh... I haven’t heard any of them, before-”
"What's your favorite?"
Spencer let out an airy chuckle, shrinking under the pressure that she wouldn't let up. He can't answer that question without incriminating himself a little bit. It was easier to laugh and brush it off like she was joking.
"Spencer, I know you have a favorite," she pressed, scooting a tad closer. Her chin rested on her hand, propped up by her elbow resting on her crossed-over knees. "If you tell me I might show you the routine."
The lump in his throat is visible as he swallows, Adam's apple bobbing up and down. He wipes his sweaty palms on his knees before suddenly you're grabbing them, calling his attention as you stand up in front of him.
"I was going to practice anyway. I'm working on a new routine." His eyes can't get wider as you pull him up from the sofa and drag one of his dining room chairs to the center of the living room. "Maybe you can tell me if it's good."
As you queue up the song on your phone, Spencer does the only thing his mind is capable of doing. To sit down and wait for what's coming. Music starts playing softly from your phone speakers, and you move to the light switch in his living room, gesturing to ask if it's alright as you hit the dimmer.
Even in the dim light, Spencer can see how beautiful you are. He can make out the features of your face if he trains his eyes hard enough, and that's exactly what he's doing. Trying to watch your face, even as you're sauntering towards him, hiking up the hem of your dress.
"You okay?" Your tone was playful and light, two things Spencer did not feel capable of being right now. He felt completely serious as you placed a hand loosely on his shoulder, dragging it along his body as you circled the back of his chair, across his back and bracing his neck. Cupping under his jaw so tenderly before letting go. It lit up each nerve ending that came across your path.
You were behind him again, sliding both your hands down the front of his chest with soft pressure, dragging them down as your lips came to ghost near his neck. Your face just barely touched his skin, grazing it in a feather-soft way that made him tickle.
Each cell in his body came to attention under your touch. His eyes almost drifted shut to succumb to the feeling, but then you stood in front of him, swaying your hips gently as you sunk down towards the floor, bracing your self with a hand on each of his knees
As you came up, your hands slid up his thighs, using him as a brace to bring your body closer to his, diving towards him with your chest to his face. You moved slow on the way up, giving him time to appreciate the cleavage revealed by the skimpy dress as you did.
His eyes were still locked on yours, cowering under the attention and to nervous to look anywhere else.
"I-I don't know what to do with my hands," he chuckles, blushing hard.
You hum, turning around and taking a seat on his lap, pushing your hips slowly back until they met his crotch. You gave him a soft grind before letting your back fall to his chest, wrapping one arm around his neck. Taking his free hand into your own, you placed it gently around your thigh before trailing it up your body, allowing him to push the hem of the dress further up as your hands travelled towards your chest. You let his fingers toy with the lace edge of your panties for a second before ghosting them over the swell of your chest, skimming just briefly and teasingly, before dropping his hand back to his side.
Lifting up from your hips, you suspended your body over his, rolling in slow motion just above his lap, barely making contact with his body as he watched you. Still using his chest to bear your weight with your arms hooked around his shoulders, able to crane your neck to the side and place soft kisses on the shell of his ear before sighing deeply into it.
On instinct, his hands fly up, gripping your waist and bringing you back down to him against his hard dick. Immediately, he dropped his hands, feeling suddenly rude for being so forward and demanding. Instead, he was rewarded with a gracious bounce of your ass against him, a few times before grinding deeply against him.
Just as a groan fell from his lips, your fingernails scraped against his shoulder, ducking under the collar of his shirt to feel the bare skin. His hips buck up in reaction, and he's quickly embarrassed again.
"It's okay," you coo, running your hand through his hair. He follows your fingers as they run through the strands, chasing after them, so you provide him with a gentle tug. He bites back a moan and you tug harder, determined to make it fall from his mouth.
He lets out a surprised gasp and his arm wraps over your waist, weighing you down so you couldn't move too far from him. You almost want to tease that clients are never allowed to touch the dancers like this, but you fear that then he might stop. So, you don't.
Just for his benefit, you give him a deep, exaggerated moan right in his ear as you roll against his dick, allowing your free hand to wrap over the arm gripping your waist so tightly. When he starts subtly shifting in his chair, you can feel him getting closer.
He starts rolling his hips in time with yours, pushing them into you as you shift yours back, pressing your bodies ever closer. His eyes flutter shut as he bunches up the fabric of your dress, knotting it in his hands as he tries to hold himself back.
You break another rule when you wrap your lips over his earlobe, sucking it softly into your warm mouth before releasing, "It's okay."
It's all the permission he needs, both of his arms now pinning you against him. He gasps as his hips jut up, staggered and out of rhythm, a few times before he lets out a strangled moan, spilling his release inside his trousers.
It was never your intention to let it get this far, but you're so glad it did when you see his face, covered in a light sheen of sweat and pupils blown with lust. His naturally plump, pink lips are red and swollen from biting down so hard. That slicked-back hairdo he had before is now tousled up from your fingers knotting through it. He looks nothing like that shy, innocent boy who opened his door to you just thirty minutes ago. He's something else entirely, panting for air as he comes down from his climax.
When his eyes open again, they still look at you as softly as they did before. With the same admiration, and maybe now a deeper level of want.
You've never been one to be at a loss of words, but you truly don't know what to say now that you've seen your very cute neighbor come undone under you. And that he looks at you so sweetly despite what's just transpired. You keep it light and playful just as before as you climb off of him, searching for your phone and purse while he excuses himself to the bathroom to clean up.
While he's gone, you hear the maintenance guy coming down the hall, and you have no reason to stay. Just as you go to leave, he comes back out, and he hides his disappointment poorly because you look like you're making a quick escape. But when you see him, your hand leaves the doorknob and you turn to say goodbye.
His long legs carry him across the length of the room quickly, stopping just short of you, and you notice just how tall he is as he towers over you. His eyes flicker between yours and your lips, wanting to kiss you, but unsure where the boundary lies.
You lean forward to kiss him, the gap between you narrowing and your eyes drifting closed.
"Can I take you out?" he stops you in your tracks. He starts panicking internally, taking your stunned silence as a rejection. "Like, on a date? Is that... is that okay?"
Then you finally lung forward, crashing your lips over his as you bring him down to you by his neck, pulling him closer. His mouth chases yours as you separate, and you leave a trail of sweet pecks over his lips and chin, smiling at him and nodding, "It's okay."

Willex - Love and Monsters AU [moodboard]
[contain major spoilers for the movie below the cut]
Alex and Willie had been friends for a while but were just starting to get their shit together - relationship wise - when the world fell apart.
Nick was the kid eaten by his goldfish (sorry, Nick :/)
After Alex parents died, some people grabbed him and took him with them away from the monsters.
Luke and Reggie ended up in the same colony as Alex.
Cut to seven years later
Alex, Reggie and Luke became best friends.
Out of the three of them, Luke is the only one allowed to go on supply runs (and only after being reminded a thousand times that he can't just start singing whenever he feels like it once they're on the surface). Reggie doesn't have the heart to kill the monsters, he says they're all misunderstood. Alex either panics or freezes, there's no in between.
It took a while, but Alex found Willie's colony on the radio and they've kept in touch ever since.
Reggie likes to draw the monsters and writes down every little detail the search parties are willing to tell him about them.
Emily and Mitch Patterson are also in the colony, as well as Ray.
Ray got separated from the rest of his family and believes them to be dead.
He kind of, unofficially, adopts Reggie and Alex.
Carrie and Flynn are at the colony too. Carrie and Flynn make a badass team at killing monsters.
After the breach in the colony and a cut off radio call with Willie, Alex decides that he can't just sit around anymore, always worrying about Willie and letting his anxiety get the best of him. He decides to ignore his complete panic at even the thought of going outside and go find him.
Luke and Reggie immediately volunteer to go with him.
Luke's parents don't want him to go, they fight. Luke goes anyway.
They find Bobby on their first day out, and he saves them from a giant frog.
Bobby is touch and company starved, having spent the most part of seven years on his own.
On their second day, Alex and Luke fall down a monster hole. While Bobby and Reggie try to figure out a way to get them out, they're saved by a girl and her little brother: Julie and Carlos.
The guys don't make the connection between this 'Julie and Carlos' to Ray's 'Julie and Carlos' because they're oblivious.
The Molina siblings agree to let them tag along, since they're not heading north yet. They teach them how to survive outside, how to kill monsters, how to hide, how to fight, how to avoid them; they tell them about their strengths and weaknesses, etc.
Julie and Carlos lost their mom when the monsters breached their colony at a subway station. They've been on their own since then, and are making their way to the mountains because the high ground and the cold helps keep the monsters away.
Juke fluff because I said so 💜
Reggie and Carlos get close too.
Eventually, they have to part ways. Julie and Carlos try to convince the guys to go with them to the mountains, but Alex won't leave Willie, and Reggie and Luke won't leave Alex.
Luke tells Julie he'll come find her sometime. She says it's a date and kisses him (because hey, they could all be dead tomorrow).
Julie gives Alex a grenade for an emergency.
They go their separate ways. Luke pouts :(
After fighting 'the Queen,' and blowing her up, Alex, Luke and Reggie are poisoned.
They fight and yell at Bobby, and Bobby goes off on his own :(
Willie finds them and nurses them back to health.
Willex kiss 💛
Willie's colony is going to the sea with a yacht Captain, Caleb, and his friends - Dante & Diego.
They're the bad guys, but shhhhh.
While they're celebrating after organizing their stuff to take to the yacht, Luke uses the radio to talk to his parents, but the call is cut off when another monster breaches their colony. He thinks his family might be dead/dying and decides to go back.
Then he notices the berries that Bobby told them not to eat. He tries to warn the others, but it's too late. They're all knocked out.
In the morning, Caleb reveals his evil plans and unleashes the mutated crab on them.
Willie and Alex go to stop Caleb and his crew.
Bobby comes back to help by freeing the rest of the colony (which are mostly older people).
Luke and Reggie fight the crab monster that Caleb had been shocking into submission, until Reggie tells him to stop because the monster looks so sad, (he remembers what Carlos told him: not all monsters are bad, "It's all in the eyes.").
He frees the monster from Caleb's jolts, and the crab eats Caleb and his crew.
Alex decides to stay with Willie to help him fix up the colony.
Luke, Bobby and Reggie go back to their old colony, and find their family still - mostly - alive.
Reggie uses the radio to send out the call about the monsters' weaknesses and strengths and how to fight them. Luke tells the people that it's time to take back their home and stop living in fear.
Epilogue
Luke reunites with Julie and, to everyone's surprise, reunites her and Carlos with their dad.
Julie, Flynn and Carrie immediately bond over their weapons and all around badassery.
Up at the mountains, in a safe place that becomes a meet up point to anyone who's still alive, Luke and Reggie reunite with Alex and Willie.
All is well... for the moment.
The end :)

A Prince and His Swan Chapter 3
Tumblr media
The Time has come for chapter 3! Thank you to @flamencodiva for helping Beta as usual; There is a small warning in here is a character death, minor language, things like that.  WC:  2465 There is also a companion series with this by flamencodiva as well, The Frog Prince which can be found HERE Storybrooke “Good Morning Samuel.” Mr. Gold says, not looking up from his work as the bell above the door chimed, signaling a person's entrance into his store. “Gold,” Sam says, letting out a huff of annoyance. If Gold was going to question him the same as Henry was about his mood? This wasn’t going to be a pleasant visit. Mr. Gold, being the wealthiest man in town, knew almost everything. Including the town gossip.
“Judging by the sound of your mood, it's safe to say you and Y/N had another argument this morning, didn't you?” He says, dark brown eyes looking at the younger Winchester brother. “How are your parents, by the way? Your relationship with Ruby?” “Ruby is none of your concern.” Sam snapped. “Oh, come now, is that any way to talk to a man who helped you and your family?” He says, giving his response in a calm, low tone .”I could go to Rowena and be in charge of all of those finances?” Mr. Gold took a step closer to Sam, giving him a slight glare, “After all, it was originally my contract you destroyed, Boy. But I can make sure to take it back and have you start at square one all over again.” Sam held up his hands, not wanting to argue with the man, “Is it just me, or was the clocktower moving this morning?”
This made Gold raise a confused brow at Sam. This was not the first time he’d heard this rumor, especially with the talk of the new person that had arrived in town, even staying at Granny’s B and B. The bell rang a second time that morning, sounding another patron entering the shop's entryway.
“Good Morning, gentleman.” Sheriff Graham says from the doorway, his hands in his pockets. Cleaning his throat, attempting to diffuse the tension between the two lawyers in the room.
“Good Morning, Graham.” “Sheriff.” Both men, who seemed to be in a standoff, greeted the Sheriff of Storybrooke. Refusing to turn to look at him. “Would you gentleman be interested in a job? I have a client who needs a lawyer, and you two are the only ones I know.”
“Well, Samuel, I think this makes for an interesting deal between us. Let's put that brain of yours to the test. I want to see how well you're able to keep our newest capture in her cell. If you can keep her behind bars, I’ll give you a raise in your salary. This would allow you to pay back Rowena a lot sooner and allow you to save up for any possible future you and Miss Ruby may have.” Sam gave him a look, waiting for the rebuttal of what would happen when he ends up losing. Which Sam had no intention of losing. He wanted to show up Gold. Stand up to him. “If I end up winning and our new friend is freed from her cage?” he says, a wicked look in his eye. “I’ll have you work double shifts here, receiving the same amount of pay. Possibly less, I haven’t fully decided yet.” Sam blinks as he lets his words echo in his ears.  Thrusting out his hand for Gold to take, a smirk on his face, “Done.”

Enchanted Forest
“Samuel! We weren’t expecting to see you.” Charming says, greeting his friend from the throne room of his castle. It was full of guests coming to see the newly wedded couple. Then again, the arrival of a royal baby was cause for celebration. Sam smiled, hugging Charming.
“Congratulations on the new arrival on the way.” He smiled, glancing over to see Snow approaching them slowly. “Samuel,” Snow White greeted, making her way towards him to envelope him in a tight hug. “We heard about Odette. Have you found anything?” “I don’t think you’d believe me,” Sam sighed, looking at his friends.  “I think I know of someone we can talk to that may be able to help you out,” Charming says, looking over at his wife, who also nods, having come to the same idea as her husband.
The Blue Fairy.
Sam watched as the Fairy approached, feeling wary of her. Dean had mentioned Amaya had been cursed by a fairy, but if Snow and Charming said that she was someone they trusted, he could trust her, couldn’t he?
“Nice to meet you,” Sam says, remembering his manners. Telling the Fairy about Odette and her curse.
“Oh, I know all about her curse, sweet one,” She says sweetly to him. This made Sam blink. Had he told her all of this for nothing? The Fairy let out a sigh. “As much as I’d like to offer my assistance, Rowena’s curse is pretty straightforward in how to break it.”
“Paid in blood,” Sam scoffed, “Charming, I’m not about to let anyone die because of someone I love!” He says, angry at the situation. He wasn’t about to lose Odette. This wasn’t going to end in bloodshed. The translation echoed in his ears, making Sam feel anxious. ‘never shall she be with the ones she loves, until true loves confession be spoken with blood.’ Feeling frustrated, Sam left the throne room, heading to the dungeons. Sam knew that Snow and Charming had Rumplestilskin in their dungeons. Maybe he could help him break the curse from Rowena or at least offer some sound advice. Then again, the man was dark and evil. “No...No, this is foolish,” Sam muttered under his breath. “Nothing is foolish, dearie,” Rumple said from his cell. “Especially if it keeps that little swan of yours safe.” “You don’t get to talk about Odette as if you know her!” Sam snapped, walking up to the bars of his cell. Face red with anger, chest rising and falling in rage. “Who am I kidding? You're just a waste of my time. Arguing with you isn't gonna help me save Odette.” Rumples' maniacal laugh echoed in the dungeons as Sam made his way back to his own castle. There was a ball to prepare for.
Tumblr media
Storybrooke “What do you mean you backed out of the challenge?!” Ruby snapped as she looked over at her fiancé. She had been pacing in their living room ever since Sam returned later from home than usual. As Sam sat down, telling her the events of the afternoon, she was growing angrier and angrier. “I mean exactly that, Ruby!” Sam snapped, feeling frustrated and tired of her questioning his every move. His eyes filled with rage, glaring at her.  “I don’t care about you anymore!” He says, voice rising as he grew angrier. “If you don’t like my work ethic, then there’s the door.” Ruby blinked, hearing Sam’s sudden outburst. He’d never raised his voice like this to her before. What was coming over him? Sam sighed as he ran a hand over his face. He had to clear his head. Maybe some coffee and sleep would be best for him. The following day, Ruby’s things were all packed, making it clear she was leaving. Sam headed over to the jail with a resounded sigh to say good morning to Graham and check in on things there. Emma Swan was causing quite the gossip around town. What was so special about her anyway? Seeing Emma released from the prison made Sam smile a little. Knowing if he’d kept his bet with Gold, he would have lost. As he made his way over to his office, a voice calling his name caught his attention. “Henry? Shouldn’t you be in school?” Sam scolds him gently, arms crossed against his chest. Henry looked slightly embarrassed. “I wanted to see if you could teach me horseback riding.” Sam raised his eyebrows at the request. “It's just-” “Henry, for the tenth time, I am not a prince in that special book of yours,” Sam says, cutting him off. “Please, Sam?” Henry practically begged. Sam held up his hands, not wanting to argue. Henry grinned excitedly. Then a thought came to his mind. “Henry, we don’t have any horses in town, do we?” Henry nodded, heading to a small ranch in town that Sam didn’t know was there. Then again, Sam didn’t travel much. Mostly, he was occupied with work from the law firm or doing work for Mr. Gold. When not spending time at his place of employment, Sam spends a lot of time at home or even sharing a meal with his brother at Granny’s diner. How else would he know that Singer Ranch even existed? “Henry! Nice to see you, kid!” An older man chuckled. “Hi, Mr. Singer!” Henry greeted, “Sam and I came to ride a horse!” “Mr. Singer,” Sam also greeted, holding out his hand for the elder stablemaster to hold. “Henry’s told me a lot about you, Sam. Let me guess, he thinks one of my horses are yours then?” Sam nodded, clearing his throat. Bobby led them to the stables, where there were three horses. One seemed to catch Sam’s eye. A black horse, the tallest of the three with a beautiful black mane. “That there is Onyx.” Bobby says,  “Got him all saddled up for you.” As Sam approached the stable door, Onyx let out a loud knicker. Causing Sam to chuckle, brushing the horse’s nose. “See? He recognized you!” Henry cheered. This made Sam blink his eyes and back up a little. “Henry, I’ve never seen this horse in my life.” He says, trying to argue. “Bet you can ride him though.” Henry says, “Besides if you’re teaching me, you should show me what to do first, right?” This kid was not letting up. Apparently, Sam wasn’t the only one Henry had been pestering. Henry had been pressing Dean too. Making him show off archery lessons when he went to sub as a gym teacher for the day. Sam raised a brow at Henry after looking at Onyx. “If I can ride him properly around the arena, I’d like to know more about Y/N. Clearly, she dislikes me, and I’d like to know why. If I’m truly a prince, then maybe she’s a princess?” “If you can ride Onyx, Henry won’t be the only one impressed. Can’t seem to get anyone to calm him down to ride him. If anything, he tolerates me at best.” Bobby added under his breath. Stepping into the stall, Sam sighed, holding out his hand. The horse had to trust him first before he decided to jump onto his back and ride around the area Bobby had. “Easy boy,” Sam whispered softly. “I’m not gonna hurt you, see? You're not so bad, are you, Onyx," Sam said. He hadn't realized he was holding his breath, letting it out slowly. He's never been close to a horse before, and yet, this horse seems to trust him. The hose gave a soft snort, his nose pressing into Sam’s hand as a sign of acceptance. Moving slowly, Sam placed his foot in the stirrup, pushing off the ground, swinging his leg over, and securing himself on the saddle. Henry noticed Sam shaking his head. Sam still felt Henry was still out of his mind. Sam wasn’t in some fairytale. He lived in the real world. Cleaning his throat, Sam nodded to Bobby, allowing him to open the stall door. “I’ll be damned,” Bobby says in surprise. “That horse barely tolerates me.” “That's because he’s Sam’s horse!” Henry says, trying to stress the point. Placing his book on a stool, flipping to find the page of Sam riding Onyx through the woods. This was crazy. Sam had never ridden a horse in his life, yet he knew how to approach Onyx? Sam gave a gentle click of his tongue, followed by a soft kick to Onyx’s side. Sam wanted to take things slow. Just send the horse on a peaceful walk. Apparently, Onyx had other ideas, moving into a trot instead. Sam gives him a swift kick. “I said walk.” He muttered “I thought you said you never rode a horse before Sam?” Bobby questioned him.  Sam blinked, looking over at the older man. “You made him stop on a dime since he wasn’t listening to ya. Only a rider who knows his horse would know how to control him like that.” Onyx was still not pleased with being told what to do, even if being ridden by Sam. He’d been cooped up in the stall for far too long. Onyx broke out into a full canter within a moment’s notice, rushing him and Sam into the woods outside of town. “Damn it, Onyx, slow down, would ya?!” Sam shouts, feeling frustrated and irritated. Why wasn’t the horse listening to him? It was clear the horse wanted to go running, to feel free and run. Sam desperately tried to gain his control back. While he was away, Henry and Bobby talked while looking over his storybook. Bobby was apparently in his book too, but Bobby was willing to sit and listen to Henry. Henry was just a boy. He needed friends to talk to instead of people brushing him off. “Onyx, I said slow down!” Sam snarled at the horse and gives it another firm kick to his rib area. Trying to make the stallion listen to reason. This time, after past attempts of misbehavior, Onyx finally slowed down to a trot then over to a walk. As sunset approached, Sam decided to climb down off Onyx and lead him back to the stables where he’d be in Bobby’s care once again. Offering to walk Henry home before choosing to walk home himself. He really didn’t want to head back to his apartment, didn’t want to face Ruby. She had given him enough of a headache and didn’t want to cause another one. Sam always knew he was welcomed at Granny’s for a meal. Even if he and Y/N weren’t on speaking terms. As Sam made his way into town, though, he heard screaming coming from the jail. It wasn’t anyone he knew, but the woman shouted a name he knew, making Sam feel sick to his stomach. “Graham...” Sam breathed, rushing over as fast as he could to help Emma. “Emma, Emma, what happened?” “I-I don’t know….” Emma stammered. “I….I think he’s dead….” She whispered, in a state of shock. With a frown, Sam leaned over to check Graham’s pulse on his neck then his wrist. With tears brimming his eyes, he rushed over to Granny’s for help. Y/N had just made her way inside from running an errand for Granny, noticing the look in Sam’s eyes. She slowly reached to place a gentle hand on his arm.  “Sam? What is it?” she asked. A lonely tear fell down Sam’s cheek.  “Graham’s Dead.”

He needs someone [part II] | Park Seonghwa
Word count: 3.8k [of nonsense as usual] Genre: fluff [with a hint of what I consider suggestiveness at some point but nothing too spicy] Pairing: kindergarten teacher! reader x police officer!, single dad! Seonghwa A/N: Here is the long-awaited part II! The plot goes a bit everywhere since I had no inspo and I didn’t originally plan to write a second part, I just hope it will be enough :) thank you for all the love you showed for the first part, I almost cried when I saw the number of notes that it had. Hopefully, you will enjoy this part as much as the other one!! Warnings: none [except maybe it’s disgustingly sweet and cliché but if you are on my blog you know that’s how i write hehe]
Tumblr media
second part of this fic.
Within the past few weeks, a lot of hectic things had happened, but you were happy with how the situation turned out. You were afraid to have overstepped the boundaries by interfering in the private life of a police officer, simply for the well-being of his son, but he had been diligent enough to forgive you and let you into his life, a few days later.
Everything was new for both of you. It has been a long time since you've shared your life with someone, and it was sometimes hard to get used to living together again. You were just too tired to go for a drink on weekdays or during the weekend with a stranger, who was most likely not to suit you. Seonghwa, unlike you, had tried everything, but to no avail, especially since he had a child. Single women didn't usually interest in being in charge of a little being who does not come from them. When you wanted to show affection to your lover, you had to wait until Haneul was asleep to be able to exchange a few touches or a kiss a little more languid than the quick ones you exchanged before leaving for work.
Seonghwa’s mother already adored you. You noticed that she spoke a little meanly about Haneul’s mother, which is also understandable from her point of view. She had hurt her son and grandson by leaving them to handle things on their own. You were a little apprehensive about meeting her, but the first time you came home after the incident in the car, she warmly welcomed you into the family house. You don't know what you did to make her love you so much, but you weren't against being in good terms with her.
This morning, you were waiting for your students at the entrance to the school playground, greeting the parents who were bringing their children. Some left as quickly as they arrived, probably late for work, while others started chatting together, looking after their children out of the corner of their eye. A familiar figure approached you and you recognized one of your students accompanied by his father. He started to chat with you, and it was rather boring. It wasn't the first time he had spoken to you; it had even become routine since it was warmer outside and you allowed yourself to wait for your students without catching a cold. You told your colleague who was older than you about this man, and she immediately warned you about him. He was a father, sure, but he was single. And ready to mingle, to settle down with any woman that said yes to anything. He had apparently flirted with the majority of your colleagues and the mothers who were awaiting their children, whether they were younger or older than you, married or not.
As soon as you learnt about this man's intentions, you immediately understood his interests and started being more careful. You politely rejected his advances, saying that you had a lot to do and that there were other things more important to you in life than all that dating stuff. But he did not lose hope.
A hint of relief hit the tip of its nose when you saw a police car approaching the school. You kept a neutral face, trying not to betray your emotions in front of the father. Haneul pushed open the back door of the car and ran towards you, carrying a small transparent box in his hands. You smiled and stretched your arms towards the little boy who wrapped his frail arms around your legs.
"Hi Haneul, how are you this morning?" "Y/N! Look what we found in the garden with Daddy! I named it Bobby." He showed you the transparent box where a small green frog climbed the wall, trying to escape, but Haneul held the lid tight between his fingers. You lifted him up and held him on your waist so that he could show you the frog up closer. "Your frog is beautiful!" You exclaimed and kissed the little boy on the cheek, having completely forgotten that the other father was still standing next to you. He watched you with an amused look at first, but he instantly frowned when you had shown some complicity with Haneul. "Do you...kiss all your students like that or-" You turned your head to the man, realizing he was still there and what you did. You wanted to justify yourself, but someone interrupted you. "Hello, Sweetheart." Seonghwa stood before you, a thin smile on his lips. It disappeared as soon as the policeman turned to face the man who had turned livid. His eyes went back and forth between Haneul, the hand that Seonghwa had on your waist and the proximity of your faces. He apologized while walking away and you put the little boy down to let him go play with his friends.
Seonghwa's hand travelled into the hollow of your back and drew you closer. Even though he was gone, he knew the father had still his eyes on you. His lips hovered over yours, his other hand tenderly cupping your cheek.
"Not here, please. Children and parents are watching us." Your eyes were avoiding his and looked around, preoccupied about the looks of others. Seonghwa lifted your head by the chin and he looked into your eyes. "I don't care," his voice was hoarse and powerful, he almost sounded pissed off. "They can look, I don't care. He was too close and I don't like that. I don't like seeing people I love being bothered by weird strangers." You barely had time to hear his words when he kissed you passionately. The liveliness of the kiss surprised you so much that you had to hold on to Seonghwa's uniform to not lose your balance. It was the first time he had shown himself in such a way in public, so possessive as he was currently behaving. His jealousy made you smile slightly into the kiss.
When he ended it, you smoothed your top and cleared your throat, as Seonghwa was staring at you with a smirk. You gave him one last kiss at the corner of his mouth and one last look.
"Tonight. We're talking about this tonight." You tried to stay calm and neutral but the redness of your cheeks betrayed you. A satisfied smile appeared on Seonghwa's lips, who winked at you before walking back to his police car. You gathered your students before bringing them into your class, still a little animated about what just happened in the playground.
The day was coming to an end and you had not forgotten the discussion you needed to have with Seonghwa. During the afternoon, he had sent you a message that his mother will pick up her grandson from school and that you didn’t need to take care of him. You gently greeted your boyfriend's mother and chatted with her for a while before you went home. You put down your bag and coat at the entrance, impatient at the idea of taking a good shower. But you didn't even have time to head to the bathroom that someone rang at your door.
As you expected it, Seonghwa was standing in front of you, a bouquet of red roses in hand. You grabbed him by the arm in your apartment and closed the door behind him.
"What do I owe the honour of this bouquet of flowers?" You questioned him with a smile as he handed it to you. "I don't know," Seonghwa followed you teasingly as you entered the kitchen to take out a vase. You poured water in it and put the flowers in, placing it on the living room table. "Perhaps the beauty, the charm, the sweetness, the intelligence and the empathy of my dear and lovely Y/N," He mentioned qualities between each kiss he placed on your skin, the next lower than the previous one. He kept on going from your forehead to arrive in the hollow of your collarbone, before rising back towards your face. "Don't try to distract me, we are having a conversation right now." You put your hands on his chest to slightly push him away, but he kept a firm grip around you. You took a deep breath to try to keep some self-control, but Seonghwa wasn't really helping.
"Oh really, and on what is this conversation about?" He said, raising a mocking eyebrow, feigning ignorance. "About your inappropriate behaviour in the schoolyard this morning." You touched the tip of his nose as you pulled yourself out of his embrace, but he stopped you by sneaking an arm around your waist. "I see big words are being employed," he whispered in the crook of your ear, causing the cheeks to turn a shade pinker. "But this behaviour was completely appropriate to the situation we were into." "No, I don't think so. I just think you were jealous." You snickered, a pinch at the waist made you yelp and calm you down instantly. "Me? Jealous? No, it's quite the opposite, actually. I trust you with all my heart, honey, I just don't trust other men’s intentions. And I saw that you were uncomfortable, so don’t try to play tough." His voice was calm and confident, while yours trembled and was hesitant. As a police officer, he had to keep his cool and he was very good at it. "You are very attractive when you try to be bossy, I would’ve liked to have a teacher like you." He whispered in your ear. He was trying to distract you, and it worked. ”Stop your nonsense now!" You said, turning around in his grip, a malicious look filled your eyes. Your mouth was only a few millimetres from his and his eyes were filled with desire, love and admiration. Seonghwa only let his emotions show through when he was alone with you. He smiled at you and pushed a strand of hair behind your ear. "You are so gorgeous," he whispered as if he wanted only you to hear it, even if you were alone in your apartment. "I said, don’t talk rubbish," you giggled, kissing his cheek. He tightened his grip and stared at you deeply. Something in his eyes changed. They weren't teasing or goofy anymore, it was only seriousness. "I'm telling the truth; I really mean it. And, one day, I wanna show it to you." His smile showed nothing but kindness and kissed your temple.
"Do you want to eat something? I don’t know if I’ve shopped for today." You changed the subject as you took your lover's hand and led him into the kitchen. "Don't you want to order? It would be easier, and we could spend more time together,” He pouted and persuaded you by his good ideas. "If you want, but I would have loved to cook with you." "Another time, honey. Why not with Haneul, too?" You shrugged and nodded. "Yeah, why not!" After all, it was a way for you to get closer to the mini version of Seonghwa, even if you were already very close. He still had a bit of trouble not calling you by your name when he was in class, but a colder stare was enough for him to understand and call you Teacher Y/N again.
You settled on the sofa when Seonghwa opened the door to the Chinese delivery man. He put everything on the coffee table and served you food, a smile decorating his lips every time your eyes met. Seonghwa was a whole other person in private, much warmer and smiling than when he worked. His smile was your weakness, and his big hazel eyes made you fall in love a little more with him every day.
Your character, your smile, your sparkling eyes, everything related to you drove Seonghwa completely crazy. He won’t ever say it, but he thinks he has never been this much in love before. Of course, he loved Haneul's mom a lot, but she was nothing compared to you. You were patient and kind; you hadn't judged him on his past and that is partly the reason why he fell in love with you. That you love him, even if he has a child, you care for his son, and really, he is grateful to have come across a woman like you.
"Oh, I wanted to ask you something," you broke the silence, your voice covering those of the characters in the film you were watching. "Tell me," he put his plate and chopsticks down for a sip of his soda. "Each year, I organize a school excursion where I go in nature or to a museum with the children to "celebrate" the end of the year. Would you like to be a companion to help me look after the children? I was unlucky enough to ask this at a parents' meeting and the man of this morning rushed to accompany us." Seonghwa grunted at the mention of this man but relaxed when he remembered your question. "I'm going to see if I can take a day off, I may be on patrol or keep a close eye on the neighbourhood at night. You know, the days are starting to grow again, and young people are sometimes turbulent, but I'll see what I can do." You smiled at him and started eating again, while Seonghwa caressed your cheek with the back of his hand. "It would make me happy to have you with me, and I'm sure Haneul would be happy as well if you come. He keeps telling his little friends about you, it's very endearing." Seonghwa stifled a little laugh. "Are you serious?" "I promise! He stands in the middle of the class, his classmates sitting around him, and he explains some things that you told him. Even if I doubt that they are all true, he’s very proud to have an officer as a dad." Seonghwa looked at you askance with a smirk. "Not all true, hm? What do you mean by that? That I tell him nonsense?" He teased while moving closer to you on the couch and putting his hand on your thigh. "No, but I doubt you beat a dragon with your bare hands last night, am I wrong?" "You don't know what I'm doing while everyone is asleep," you rolled your eyes and shook your head at your boyfriend's childish words. "Anyway, I will try my best to be free on that day. I really want to spend time with you." He winked at you and got ready to eat again, but he stopped. "Don't take the other idiot if I can't, please. I don't want him hanging around you, he’s already a pain in the ass when he comes to complain to us at work. It's in his best interests not to touch one of your hair or Haneul’s." "Seonghwa, I’m only teasing. I’ll never go with him. Not for my excursion, nor I’ll leave you for him. I'll go with your mom or a colleague if you can’t come, don’t worry about it." He nodded and you kissed his cheek to reassure him. You understood that his jealousy was his way of showing you that he cared and that he was still a bit insecure about you leaving for another man, so you were trying your best to comfort him. Some guys have used this method on you by the past, but you can see in Seonghwa’s eyes and actions that he doesn’t want to lose you and that he genuinely cares about you.
The school trip was tomorrow. It's been a few weeks since you had asked Seonghwa to come with you and your class and everything worked for the best. Haneul was euphoric about having his father as a parental figure for this trip, it was hard to keep him calm.
"Haneul, calm down," his grandmother scolded him, "Daddy won't come with you if you keep behaving like that." "No please, Granny, I want Daddy to come." Haneul whined, gripping his grandmother’s hand as he looked up at her. "Then stay calm and help Y/N, sweetie." "Okay, Granny!" He yelled as he went to his room to gather his stuff after giving a kiss to his grandma. "Thank you," you whispered to her ear and she gently squeezed your forearm with a wink. Seonghwa had her eyes and her smile, it was amazing how much he looked like his mother. He had harder facial features, but the resemblance was clearly striking.
The bags prepared, you all got into Seonghwa's police car and drove to the police station, which was next to the meeting place you gave the parents. You were earlier than the time indicated, but there were already a few parents waiting and chatting with the children. The natural history museum that you wanted them to visit was unfortunately in another town, it was more convenient to hire a minibus to get there. Once all the students have arrived, you left for the museum. The children seemed happy to discover this natural history museum. Some had already seen it with their parents, but for others, it was the annual expedition and they were delighted.
Seonghwa looked particularly handsome today. He didn't have his uniform, but his simple clothes matched his fatherly attitude. Your students were mostly calm, they had followed the instructions of the museum manager. Some had children's cameras, others simply looked at stuffed animals or scared themselves by going to see animals that were wilder than others. He smiled at you from afar when he was taking care of the other part of the group.
Haneul spent a lot of time with you. He was holding your hand and asking you lots of questions about animals.
"Y/N, um, Teacher Y/N, I'm glad to have Daddy with us." "Really?” You asked him, holding his hand a little tighter. "I'm glad you're happy.” He nodded but he still seemed a little sad. "Sweetheart, I know it's hard for you to call me Teacher at school and Y/N at home, but you have to understand that it can’t change is since I am with your Daddy, but I am also your teacher," you squatted to be at his level and you swept his hair out of his eyes to see them. "That doesn't mean you matter less to me, you're an adorable big boy. I love you very much with your Daddy and nothing will change that, okay?” He nodded again, with a little more enthusiasm this time and you stood back up. "Children! Shall we go have lunch outside?” The children gathered around you and nodded vigorously, some rubbed their stomachs and smiled.
Seonghwa helped you set up the large tablecloth that you had loaded on and the children took off their shoes before sitting on it. You helped them unpack their sandwiches and you offered them each a chocolate bar for being very behaving well during the visit and the meal. After finishing their lunch and eating their desserts, the majority ran towards the playground which was located a few meters from you, while the rest stayed near you and rested. Haneul returned from the playground soon after and he looked tired. He rubbed his eyes with his little fists and laid his head on his father's shoulder, who smiled and took him in his arms. Haneul fell asleep with his head on his father's lap a few seconds after Seonghwa sat down near him.
The day was coming to an end, the first children were already almost asleep on the tablecloth. Haneul had woken up from his nap and was playing with the other energised children. He was the leader of a small group, who had picked daisies and made a big bouquet for you. When you decided that it was time to leave, you all took your bag and went back to the vehicle. Seonghwa was driving the minibus to the meeting point of this morning. You could read the tiredness on his face, which you came to caress with the back of your hand. He grabbed it and placed a long kiss on it, keeping his eyes on the road.
"Aren’t you too tired?” You were talking to him softly; some children were sleeping soundly, and you didn't want to wake them up. They had a lot of fun in the park and watching them was also pretty tiring. "Yes," Seonghwa confessed, laughing, "I still don't know how you manage to do this every day. I feel like I'm reliving my police school entrance tests. They should do this as a test, it's just as tiring." "You indeed need to have a strong mind to handle these little children," you smiled as you looked at them in the rear-view mirror. "But I know you have it," Seonghwa stopped at a red light and planted his eyes in yours. When he sent you that look, you had flashbacks from the first time you found yourself in his car. It surprised you and you didn't want to go through it again. "At home," you whispered and Seonghwa chuckled at your words, shaking his head. He pressed the accelerator when the light turned green and you sighed with relief when you saw the parking lot with the parents who were waiting for you.
Once all the bags and caps have been returned to their little owners, you wish your students and parents a good weekend and you walk to the police car. Haneul was also tired, it would be easy to put him to bed and enjoy Seonghwa’s presence. It's hard not to show too much affection when you're in public. You wanted to keep your strict figure as a teacher, but you also wanted to enjoy your love life freely. You opened the back door and Haneul ran to you and jumped, letting you fasten his belt. You kissed his forehead and closed the door. You open the passenger door and settled in, waiting for Seonghwa to close the trunk.
When you walked through the front door, a divine smell of food ran through your nostrils, making your stomach growl. You headed for the kitchen. The hot plates were occupied by pots filled with food, covered with lids to keep it warm. Seonghwa's mom had left a note on the counter wishing you a good evening.
"She's really amazing.” You muttered as Seonghwa went upstairs with Haneul. You heard the water flowing and began to eat since your belly started complaining.
A little bit later, Seonghwa reappeared in clean clothes and damp hair. He widened his eyes at the sight of food, and you showed him his mother's note.
"I already sent her a bouquet of flowers to thank her," Seonghwa smiled at you and started kissing you in the middle of the kitchen, his food long forgotten on the counter. You could feel all the tiredness in his kiss, it was lazier than usual, but it still managed to make your head spin. When you pulled away, he kissed your forehead and started to eat the portion you had prepared for him. You went upstairs with a plate for Haneul, but he was already asleep, so you took advantage of being on this floor to go take a shower and relax after this long day.
Seonghwa did not take long to join you in your shared bedroom. He collapsed on his side of the bed and let himself be gently lulled by the sounds of your hairdryer. When you climbed into the bed, the softness of your satin nightgown brushed against Seonghwa's bare chest, his arms wrapped around your shoulders. You kissed him very tenderly and flopped down beside him.
"Thank you for coming with me," you whispered and traced random shapes on his abs. “It was really nice today.” "Anything for you, my love," he whispered against your lips and you fell into his warm embrace after turning off your bedside lamp. “ If you asked me to, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again tomorrow.” You giggled and gave him one last kiss before falling asleep. You loved Seonghwa and Haneul with all your heart, and nothing could change that. They were making you too happy to stay away from them.

20 for the triforce crew?
I don't know if you mean the present Triforce Crew or the past Triforce Crew (which, on me. I should have told people to specify) so I'll do both.
20. What do they like that nobody else does?
Idk how to do stuff that literally nobody else would like (outside of food crimes that even Link/Lyn won't touch) so I'll probably have to do stuff that nobody else in either versions of the group remotely like (or at least nobody else likes to do). This was a hard one so I hope that's okay.
Ghirahim (who never died in between story plots) - Collecting gaudy jewelry. He will find the most tasteless, clashy, bright jewelry and buy it. It's a hobby he has fun with and even commissions some when he has ideas for it. Half the Gerudo think it's some sort of gag thing, others joke that he wants to be prepared to win every horrible fashion contest that could randomly pop up. In reality, he was bored over the 5,000 years and needed something to do.
5,000 Years Ago
Link - This one does some botw level shenanigans when he can and decides to do crazy stunts. You say somebody can't beat an entire camp of monsters with just that Sheikah time-slow technique and a bunch of arrows? He's doing it. You think you can't trick a Lynel into charging off of a cliff into the water below? Think again. If you can think of a crazy stunt, he's most likely done it and earned Vaati's nickname of "Dumb-ss reckless moron."
Shadow - Raw acorns. You heard me right, raw acorns. Those things that I think could poison you or something. He will eat them raw and whole like some snake who eats raw acorns.
Zelda - Joking around in Hylia's presence. This may seem weird, but it's because Hylia's a goddess and very intimidating person so cracking jokes around her seems like suicide - especially to people who are in the know. But Zelda likes to do it because she finds throwing Hylia for a loop whenever she can really fun. This is also pre-war.
Vaati - Tea that is 50% honey, 20% sugar, 20% sweetened milk, and 10% actual tea. Everyone who saw Link try it and almost puke won't even go near it because if the bottomless pit won't touch it, why is Vaati drinking it every day??? It's an abomination.
Ganon - Somehow, despite not being either of the researchers, he's that person that will stop whenever he sees an unidentifiable plant, draw it in a notebook, and then write down everything he can infer about it. He'll later go to a library and look it up. It's because he's always been fascinated with the vast array of plants outside the desert.
Midna - A mixture of some dishes poisonous to Hylians and basic Hylian dishes. Not only do the food tastes clash badly to anybody else - it's poisonous to most of the people in the group and Link doesn't have Lyn's poison "immunity."
Zant - Finding ways to subtly prank the Sheikah whenever he visits Hyrule Castle with Midna. Midna is always occupied during meetings and is also 90% of his impulse control, so you can imagine that he gets creative in his boredom. The others don't really understand why he would do that - it's an "Are you trying to raise suspicion?" type thing - but they gave up on trying to understand Zant a while ago.
Present Crew
Lyn - Putting unidentifiable plants in her mouth to see if they taste good. She has a d-mn near perfect poison immunity - which means she can only be poisoned by malice - so she can eat anything without fear of poison. She will mostly do this with plants though, and, when she was younger, frogs.
Ebony - Tricking other people (mainly Lyn) into doing their physically straining chores or tasks. They just like seeing if they can do it and managed to trick their sister into doing it for 4 years once. Don't worry, Lyn got her petty, petty revenge for that one.
Zael - Turning tiny things someone wouldn't consider overly dangerous into weapons. She will take her sword, and change it's shape into pens, pencils, bobby pins, ribbons, and then use creativity and a bit more magic to make them utterly dangerous. Her mother encouraged it and considered it an exercise in creativity. It's also one of the many reasons her father (Rhoam) is scared of her.
Vaz - Some things got lost in translation between reincarnations, but the base of that abomination is now coffee and some percentages which got jumbled: 50% honey, 40% sugar, 5% sweetened milk, and 5% coffee. And then after that he dumps, like, 5 fluid ounces (which is five pumps) of espresso in there. Lyn learned from last time and politely refused Vaz's offer of letting her try it. Which is for the best because that drink is even more horrifying than the tea.
Ahdvant - He likes to flip people's expectations and do the opposite. Ahdvant likes to act very silly and crazy, and he does it so often people think he has no sanity. But that's really just him acting however he wants, and if it comes of as crazy then it comes off as crazy. When he's absolutely furious, instead of losing the "few" marbles he has he instead acts "sane" and destroys you in a very efficient and brutal manner.
Midiya - Wearing socks. This queen can float and therefore goes barefoot everywhere. In fact, aside from her anklet, she hates having anything on her feet.
Gandin - He will willingly turn off his light charm in the Twilight Realm (light charms allow you to keep your physical form in the Twilight Realm) so he can run around as a boar and have fun. Of course, he'll do it on an empty island as to not freak anybody out because he's 10ft tall.

Okay. So. Here’s an elaborate multiple days of brainstorming ideas as they come PracticalMagicnatural AU nonsense. Thank you.
- Bobby and Rufus would be the Aunts and they'd be bffs not siblings and would have Vibes but it would be... hm. This is not a Bufus story is what I'm saying.
- the Curse would be on the men and for the women they love of course (classic fridging :/)
- this works for Bobby, (Rufus,) John, and Sam. (Supernatural is bad)
- so this is where it's kind of. Hm. Bc Sally and Gillian are not one to one for either boy. Where Sally and Gillian BOTH have identities separating family and magic (family business), these ideas are inseparable for the brothers.
- alsooo dean and sam to BE dean and sam they would've had to be "raised" by john until they were at least near-grown, even if they had a home base at Bobby's house.
- John still kills himself with grief MAYBE but it's like /later/ and more through self destruction and revenge and alcoholism, leaving the boys to live their later teenage/early twenties in the Bufus household
- Azazel is the one killing all the Wives in this curse. And if they use The Resurrection Spell to bring them back, he is possessing them
- hmmmmmmmmm they need to still be hunters I think buuut what if. They also did witchcraft.
- Dean would cast the love summoning spell, making it so that he uses angel descriptors unwittingly or on purpose because he doesnt think angels are real and therefore cannot exist for him to fall in love with and kill (bc the curse)
- it would be fun and very cringe fail embarrassing for Dean if sometimes he thought about His Angel and accidentally occasionally prayed to Cas
- Anna could show up and be Dean's red herring
- Dean could be in an About to Die situation and think, as a joke or whatever, "fuck. I never even got to meet that hot angel chick that's in love with me," and Cas shows up (with wings bc hot), saves him, *handprints*, then leaves
- OR. There's a blinding light and screeching noise and Dean blacks out and wakes up with a handprint safe and sound
- Cas and The Guy From Practical Magic That's A Cop both bend the rules of their superiors for their person easily and pliantly. except for the initial pushback. Hm.
----
- it's weird bc in practical magic there's this whole vibe of I'm Done With Magic And You're Dragging Me Back Into This And Ruining My Life but sammy had gone away and rejected The Life THEN found the woman he loves and THEN tried to resurrect her mayyybeeeee wait wait wait it wouldn’t be Jess bc she isn’t evilll...
- DEAN would be the one with a bad boyfriend that they accidentally kill and have to resurrect... hmmmmm
- maybe it's like a Boy Best Friend of dean's like maybe he is on a hunt with Benny and he accidentally chops his damn head off and tries to resurrect him to cover it up
- and that fucks up something in the afterlife and Cas is sent to Fix The Problem of whatever the fuck happened to this guy's soul when they did this
----
- it's wonderful to think of the PTA mom shenanigans Dean and Sam could get into but I don't think that Dean would have any sort of kid in this besides maybe jack?
- I mean, it could be that Ben is still around and he was with Lisa but never Loved Her on principal, and left in time so the curse didn't fuck her up, but they're still friends and he will still pick Ben up from school sometimes
- I don't see how the phone tree could work into it but I don't think that it's necessary bc sam and dean and cas's version of this story does not and can not revolve around them being outsiders in their own community but overcoming it and accepting who you are and integrating into the community through girl power and witch magic
- BUT. the potential of sammy being possessed is yeah. It’s extremely. Yeah.
- They could have a nice bonding moment of I'm never gonna leave you you can do this like from Swan Song. Like Sally joining Gilly in the broom circle to help her while she’s being exorcised
- their brotherly bond is NOTHING like Sally and Gillian's, though. Like YES. they would no doubt help bury the body, but they aren't giggling about their love life under the covers together. They simply are not that type of girl
- also I guess there wouldn't be the tension of You're Ruining My Life That I've Constructed Just By Being Here between them.
- WELL.
- Dean WOULD say something shitty about cleaning up Sam's messes though. He is just that type of guy
----
- Dean can definitely be the one chopping and hacking at the rose bush and cas would DEFINITELY get distracted and heal him in the middle of his conversation with him
- Dean oh dean he and his close Boy Best Friends could totally fuck with the curse. Like-
- Dean: Oh my good friend Benny he’s the first person ive really allowed myself to get attatched to in a while but that’s fine! he can't die because i don't love or like him like that because he's a guy! Haha, I'm not gay! We are just guys being dudes just two bros hanging out :)
Benny: *dies anyway*
Dean: FUCK
- Sammy would totally make that new age witchy herbal shop that Sally had! that would be so fun. Also ft. periphery what the fuck is up with those people type locals
- maybe Rowena shows up still and Crowley is also there hmmmmm and Rowena teaches Sam magic stuff and it gets him to make the supernatural a part of his life again without having to do any hunting hmmmmmmm or it's just another tool in his arsenal and he just always deserves to have magic powers
- the supernatural ladies could work in the shop :) like Meg and Rowena and Ruby anndddd Alya :) Ava? The psychic hunger games MVP girl
- or all the kids work at that shop!! I miss those dang kids. Max, the twins, death lesbian, Jake, electric guy, and all them :)
- Rowena is like a witchy shop owner up in town that buys Sam's wares to sell in the city #CareerWoman #GirlBoss
- Jody and Donna can also hang out I guess. Since we're at Bobby's place
----
- Dean casts the love summoning spell after either Regular Heartbreak with Cassie, his first love, when he was 15 or whatever, OR after the behated Boy Best Friend death. Hmmmmmm
- it makes more sense for the story for dean to have someone die on him and apply to the curse. But I don't wanna kill Benny ):
- well I don't think he was ever In Love with Crowley or Benny like he was with Cassie (or even Lisa)
- when he was 15 or 14 and John was still around but had left him at the Bufus household he got hold of that love summoning spell and made sure it was impossible so he would never experience heartache again. He does so while crying teenagishly and 11 year old sam is like. Why the fuck are you summoning this weird monster girl to fall in love with you
- and Dean is like no no this kind of monster doesn't exist. Anyway they'd have glowing blue eyes and they're as big as a building and and they hear me whenever I call no matter far away
- Sam: that...... sounds like an angel, dean.
Dean, having already done the spell: WHAT. NO. NO IT'S NOT IT IS SO NOT LIKE AN ANGEL. ANGELS AREN'T REAL
- Cas in Heaven, a bunch of flower petals swirling around him: what the fuck is that. That's weird
- Cas like 13 years later when he sees a cajun zombie vampire demon: okay I'm already getting weird prayers from some guy down there I'm just gonna check that out
- by the time Cas gets down there they've killed it again and buried it and hmm
- It's weird because it's the opposite of Practical Magic here bc Cas is the one that needs to be believed about something supernatural BY dean
----
- what if they accidentally kill JOHN instead of a hot bf. Dean kills John bc John tries to kill Sam, and they panickedly try to resurrect him immediately
- yeah yeah yeah yeah and John, possessed by Azazel, gets killed again while still being possessed and is buried underground. There can still be a rose bush and frogs and whatnot
- I doon't know why Bobby and Rufus would just leave the brothers in their house if John was alive until then?
- Alright John's been missing for like 5 years and the boys have just been living there and assumed he's dead. Then he comes for Sammy bc Sam is Turning Evil or whatever and John's a huge loser about it
- so Bufus is like "you guys are acting insane and you aren't telling us what's wrong so we’re just going to leave and you're going to sort it out yourself." Like the aunts
- then, when cas shows up to track down the weird resurrected demon-possessed serial killer abomination Dean and Cas are EMBARRASSING like completely totally absolutely embarrassing cringe fail love where they can't talk normal with eachother and Cas keeps getting too close and staring but Dean forgets to tell him to back off or anything and he just stammers uselessly through thin dumb lies
- there aren't any children there to comically thwart Sam's plans to get rid of Castiel as he is investigating Dean and Sam but it could end similarly
- where Cas finds Sam making a small angel banishing symbol and is like "okay. You guys aren't to be trusted and you're doing something evil (and i don't understand what’s happening to me when i’m around Dean). I'm just straight up going to leave then" and boom he's gone
- the fight Sally and Gillian have right before Gillian gets possessed can play out pretty damn similarly with Sam and Dean, but it's a LOT different too
- like it's their DAD not some random serial killer bf. You can't choose your dingdang dad! So the part of "I cant keep cleaning up your messes" WHOSE MESSES who even says that to who whose mess could this even be
----
- Sam has a girlfriend that dies from the curse and it’s bc of being caught in the crossfire when Hunter Bullshit Happens. The Women of the Winchesters’ way. So he moves back specifically to get back into hunting and witchcraft to BREAK the curse hmmmmm.
- Much like Sally with Michael’s death. “I don't care what he comes back as. As long he comes back. Please do this for me. Please? Please? Please? Please?” :(
- I think Dean is an Of Course I’m Not Going To Fall In Love kinda character, like younger Sally before Michael. very pessimistic very self depreciating. He only confides his deepest darkest desires (to be loved simply and openly without fear of the Curse taking anyone. To be held and to take care of someone who will appreciate it) in his fakey fake pretend prayers to his imaginary angel (this turns out to be very cringe fail embarrassing when Cas shows up)
- Cas holds onto these prayers like Hallet (the cop from movie) does with Sally’s letter to Gillian, not knowing or understanding why he’s so fixated on them and why he can’t stop reading them/playing them back/listening in
- John… maybe he was pulling a Gordon and was killing all the psychic kids and was eventually going to have to kill Sam, and Cas was for some reason Put On The Case as an angel or was Allowed to Interfere or whatever bc it was fudging up God’s Plan
- and that’s how Cas justified being so fixated and taking notes on Dean’s prayers, like Hallet did with the letter. It was a good lead. It was about their father, and Sam seemed to be having psychic tendencies or whatever that could turn dangerous
----
- Okay okayokayokay so Sally and Gillian’s story is them escaping the ostracization they feel from the people in their physical regional community. The Owen’s family has always been outsiders, even before the curse came into being. They are persecuted for being witches (and sleeping around and being sexy).
- the sisters try to escape this either by just LEAVING: going to a place they can be themself without shame, or assimilating and abandoning a part of themself so that they can stay.
- the Winchester brothers are, I guess, ostracized by the hunting community because they are kept away from it and moved around a lot in the show. Okay okay okay okay okaywaitwaitwait
- Okay so the Winchesters feel alienated from both civilians and the hunting community, and they both eventually choose to do similar things to Sally and Gilly..! Sam LEAVES and assimilates, while Dean stays and just accepts his role his father gave him.
- Gilly and Sam LEAVE, while Dean and Sally STAY. Gillian and Dean embrace what makes them Different, while Sally and Sam reject it in favor of Being Normal
- The witchcraft/hunting thing especially doesn’t mesh well here though because Hunting is KILLING it’s literally murdering sentient beings. It’s war propaganda it’s desensitizing you to Even Though The Enemy Is Capable Of Good Individually They Are, As A Group, Evil And Should Be Slaughtered.
- Witchcraft in Practical Magic is just… a way of life that’s considered outside the accepted norms of society. It’s being openly queer, it’s being from a different country of origin, it’s being non-christian religious in a small town. Accepting witchcraft doesn’t have any moral good or badness, it’s just with or without the consequences of being “out” in your area. While accepting Hunting as a lifestyle is to accept putting yourself in bodily danger doing morally ambiguous/BAD things to protect people you can’t relate to or find a community in. Hmmmmmmmmmm
----
- Sam and Sally both have natural talents/instincts but don't want to use it in favor of being "normal"

A while ago you mentioned you had an idea for a HP fic where Riddle Sr. escaped from Merope with baby Tom. I was really intrigued with the story because I’ve always thought that Riddle Sr was unfairly considered a bad guy due leaving her and his child, but he was basically a victim of the most powerful date rape drug in existence so he had every right to escape. What kind of father did you think he’d be if he had raised his wizard son?
Oh yeah, Tom Riddle Sr. got a lot of shit for being… basically a rape victim? I get the pity for Merope, I pity her as well (she was so deeply damaged by her upbringing and never got a chance to learn what love is really about), but that in no way changes the fact what she did to Tom Sr. was terrible. And I really don’t like how it’s framed, with even Dumbledore going on about how he abandoned Merope as opposed to running away from a forced relationship after the effects of a magical drug wore off. Even the narration goes out of its way to remark on the fact he was an Unpleasant Stuck-up Guy, as though being an unpleasant stuck-up rich kid (he was like 20, he was young) somehow means you deserve to be basically robbed of your free will, taken from home and be magically coerced into a relationship.
… Okay rant over sorry on to the story idea.
Basically my idea was that Merope would only wean Tom Sr. off the love potion after their child was born, hoping as per canon that he would be in love with her regardless. Of course he wasn’t, and of course he was absolutely horrified when she admitted what she’d done and how. Horrified enough to kill her out of anger and fear she might bewitch him again (with her too stunned and pained to react with any magic). As I said, I pity her, but let’s be honest - to Tom, she was a terrifying being who had enslaved him and could do it again if he allowed it.
Anyway, he’s now left with a dead body and a baby. He gets rid of the dead body somehow, and almost smothers the baby because what if it’s like its mother, but Tom Jr. starts wailing when he looks down in his crib (unusual, that, he was usually a very quiet baby) aaaaand no, he can’t do it. So he takes the baby, and gets to the nearest station. The plan is to hand the baby over to a bobby claiming he found him in a rubbish bin or something before hopping on the first train home. Only that he… doesn’t. He can’t. And so he gets home, trying to explain he was somehow bewitched (he is fully aware no one would believe the full story about a love potion, I mean, come on) and with a baby in tow, claiming Merope left him and the baby and he has no idea where she is now (the bottom of the Thames, probably) and anyway, he’d really like his old life back.
And the return home… sucks. A lot. His parents don’t believe him being bewitched for a second, of course, and are furious at him. His fiancee, well, she wants to hear no more of him since he just up and left her to elope with the crazy gal. The village as a whole is having a laugh at his expenses. His parents full-on pressing for him to give the baby up for adoption or something aren’t helping, but at this point Tom Sr. is so angry with his lot in life, he decides to keep the child mostly out of spite. He lost nearly everything, his reputation and the woman he wanted to marry, but this child? He’s his. He’s keeping him. His parents can swallow their dentures. Not that he’s going to look after him much, they can hire a nanny to do it and that’s exactly what happens.
But time passes and the baby grows, and to everyone’s relief he looks nothing like his mother, or anyone from that weird family. He looks like his father and he seems so normal, and little by little, his grandparents are won over. He becomes the apple of their eye, and of course they set upon spoiling him. The boy wants a pony to learn how to ride? Then by God, the boy is getting the damn pony, and new clothes, and just about anything he asks for. What Tom Jr wants, Tom Jr gets. He leads a sheltered life in the manor, his every whim satisfied.
And soon enough he wants to spend more time with his father, who has become increasingly withdrawn and spends a lot of time having long horse rides across the countryside, though never anywhere near the shack where she used to live. And little by little he lets him. He’s still guarded, anxiously waits to see if his son does anything strange, but he does not. There is a certain distance between them, and Tom’s mother is a subject to never bring up, but they… get along well. Tom Sr becomes more interested in what his son is up to, and he does give him whatever he wants because why not, that’s how he was raised, too. And the kid loves his life as it is, the spoiled only child in a big mansion with rich grandparents, long horse rides with his father, and not a care in the world. His mother? Why would he care to know who she was?
Until of course something happens. During one of their rides, they are ambushed by a raving Morfin Gaunt, who spooks the horses, makes Tom Sr fall off it, and tries to hex him - only to be thrown back by a sudden explosion of uncontrolled magic by Tom who is, understandably, kinda angry at this guy who went and threatened them. Morfin becomes unable to breathe and Tom almost, almost kills him before his father grabs him and snaps out of it and takes him away, back home, leaving Morfin to gasp.
Suddenly Tom Sr finds himself with weirdly dressed men in his living room, his parents’ memories being erased, and his child chasing around a moving chocolate frog while this Dumbledore fellow talks nonsense about a school of magic what the hell is going on.
What is going on is that this is basically his nightmare, his son is like his mother and will apparently go be educated among other people like his mother whether Tom Sr wants it or not. And ten years earlier, the day he broke free, he would have smothered the boy in the crib if he’s known that - but then was then and now is now, this is his son, and he wants him safe. It takes a long time to convince him Tom Jr will be fine learning magic, that everyone else will think he’s going to a really fancy boarding school, and he’ll be back every Christmas and summer, but he finally relents.
Of course Tom Jr is enthusiastic, a ten year old kid who was just told he’s gonna learn MAGIC, who wouldn’t be? It takes some effort for him not to blurt out too much in the presence of his grandparents. This is gonna be great, he thinks, and oh boy is he wrong. He is sorted in Slytherin, and he finds out at his expenses that being Muggleborn (of course he thinks his mother was a muggle, too, his father surely would have told him if his mother was a witch?) is looked down to. He goes from being a spoiled rich kid to being an easy target, the kind other classmates turn their nose up to. He tries the Draco Malfoy “when my father hears of this” talk, only to be laughed at because literally nobody fears or respects a muggle. You could say it’s one hell of a culture shock.
And he hates it. A lot. He loves learning magic, but he hates the way he’s treated and how his family is looked down to. Even once his achievements earn him some respect, he still hates it. So he looks forward to vacations at home, when he can be the spoiled rich boy again and spend time with his father - who knows all that well what it is like to be a pariah over something you had no control over. He almost tells him about his mother, but he can’t bring himself to. Instead he uses that time to teach him about Muggle things, about science and mathematics and literature and muggle history, a whole wealth of knowledge wizards discard but oh are they wrong to do it. The older Tom grows, the closer they get. People seeing them side by side could almost think they’re brothers.
Little by little, Tom becomes certain that Purebloods are deluded - it’s Muggleborns like him that really the best, because they have access to the knowledge of both worlds. And he eventually guesses, as he grows - as he hears whispers about his parents’ eloping - that his mother perhaps was a witch; he can guess what she did. But at this point he doesn’t care, and never bothers to look into her lineage. He’s Tom Riddle, he’s son of a muggle, and he’s going to show everyone what he can do. Instead of throwing away his father’s name to embrace his mother’s legacy, he throws away hers to remain his father’s son.
And… that’s the long and the short of it. I would need to check my notes to see what was meant to happen at this point, but I think Grindelwald’s war was involved, with Tom taking the opposite side because oh no, he’s not going to trample Muggles underfoot, no sir, not on his watch. All while his father knows vaguely what is going on, and is worried for his son, the way parents are, as Tom tells him and his grandparents to move for their safety. At some point, Tom Sr would have probably told him the whole truth about what his mother did to him and how she ended up.
I don’t remember if they all made it through to see the end of 1945 - I think I had Tom Sr and Morfin Gaunt dying in the same incident, and Tom visiting the Gaunt shack afterwards to set it on fire, letting it burn with Salazar’s locket inside while he rode back to Riddle Manor, but I’m not 100% sure.
… I was pretty close to making this my NaNo project a few years ago, really. I kinda wish I had gone for it, but oh well. XD

WWE NXT 9/18/19 Review
Well, it is finally here, our first NXT episode that aired live on USA. It was stacked, and they put on a hell of a show. I wasn’t that much of a fan of one part of the show, but plenty matches were awesome. The show felt like a genuine sport, the way they went from match to match without a promo at all. That style is perfect, and I think that they will do well in the upcoming Wednesday Night Wars. Here is my full review of this weeks NXT.
Io Sharai vs. Bianca Belair vs. Candice LaRae vs. Mia Yim for #1 contendership to the NXT Women’s Championship: When things started out, everyone just got a change to hit some of their signature offense, with lots of huge moves and breaking up pinfalls. We saw some awesome power moves from Belair, flying from Sharai, some crafty shots from Yim and a lot of heart from LaRae. We cut to commercial after a huge Moonsault from Sharai to Yim and LaRae on the floor. When we came back, we saw a huge power of doom spot, with Yim superplexing Belair, Sharai German suplexing Yim, and LaRae powerbombing Sharai. We then saw a shower of finishing moves over and over, with Yim hitting a Code Blue, and Belair nailing LaRae with a KOD, but Sharai broke it up. Sharai went for a moonsault to LaRae, but Yim pushed her off the top rope and into Belair on the outside. Yim then got LaRae on her shoulders, before LaRae nailed a poison rana and hit the lionsault for the win.
After the match, Shayna Baszler came out with her cronies. They all surrounded LaRae, and just kinda intimidated her.
Grade: A-. This match was so good that I could hardly keep up with my notes. Everyone was flying around and killing each other with unbelievably awesome moves. We saw some awesome character work in this match as well, showing how desperate everyone in it was for a title shot. That belt is a hot commodity, and everyone should care enough to want it. LaRae was also the best choice to win this. They need a white meat babyface who is just lovable and awesome to beat Shayna. I love this booking, and this was an awesome first match for NXTV. Match of the night
Sean Maluta vs. Cameron Grimes: Grimes nailed the double foot stomp right away as Maluta charged him and got the win.
Grade: C+. Squash? ... Squash? SQUAAAAAAAAASHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Roderick Strong vs. Velveteen Dream for the NXT North American Championship: The two started things out with some technical exchanges, with Strong looking to put Dream on the mat right way. Dream showed off some of his technical prowess as well, and also seemed to be firmly in Roddy’s head. As the match wore on, Strong started to work over the back and the ribs of Dream by driving him into the apron and barricades. Strong then worked Dream over in the corners, with some hard strikes and various backbreakers in the middle of the ring. The two then dueled for submission holds, with Strong trying for the Stronghold, and Dream going for a sharpshooter. The two then battled to the outside before brawling back into the ring, with Dream hitting a nice comeback sequence for a near fall. Dream then hit the DreamDT for another near fall, and it looked like he was getting desperate. Strong fought back into the match with a brutal high knee to the face, and then tied him up in the ropes, nailed a series of hard forearms, a huge back breaker and then a tiger driver for a near fall, with Strong reversing the kickout into a Stronghold. It was tense and took a while, but Dream got to the ring. After that sequence. The rest of the Undisputed Era came out to get Strong’s back. They all talked trash, and Strong pushed Dream into the ref and took him down. Dream then hit a Dream Valley Driver, and started to fight off the Undisputed Era, only for Roddy to nail a high knee and End of Heartache, but Dream kicked out! Dream then hit another Dream Valley Driver, and went to the top rope for the Purple Rainmaker, but Bobby Fish distracted the ref and allowed Adam Cole to superkick Dream off the top rope and Roddy to hit another end of Heartache for the win.
Grade: B+. This was a really good match, with a lot of drama towards the end and a finish that wasn’t too screwy, so it’s still acceptable. Dream and Strong put on a really good match with a lot of exciting spots and good looking hits. Strong deserved this win, because the Undisputed Era deserved to hold all the gold. Undisputed Era controls NXT right now, and it’ll be interesting to see how things proceed from here.
Pete Dunne vs. Arturo Ruas: Ruas and Dunne immediately went to the mat and tried to get good positioning. Ruas quickly tried to lock in an armbar, but Dunne got back to his feet and started to pick away at Ruas’s limbs. Ruas did hit a nice looking sequence of a knee to the chest followed by a kick to the face. At one point, Dunne caught one of Ruas’s kicks and started to attack the toes and feet, and he used that to take control. Dunne nailed an awesome release German suplex, stomping on the hands and then a kick to the head for a near fall. He then nailed another kick to the head and an x plex for another near fall. Ruas then fought back with a kick to the face and a german of his own, but also a near fall. Dunne then took Ruas down with a triangle, and bent the fingers until Raus tapped out.
Grade: B. Good stuff here, a fun technical match that went into some striking to keep things fresh. Of course the outcome wasn’t in doubt, but Ruas could be a solid talent in the future. The division is too star studded now, but I see him in the future. I’m interested in seeing where Dunne goes from here, whether that is the midcard or the main event.
Xia Li vs. Aliyah: Vanessa borne was out with Aliyah. Li showed her agility right in the beginning by flipping around to avoid Aliyah’s offense and then taking her to task with some kicks. At one point, LI went for a spring board dropkcik out of the courner, but she botched in and fell to the mat. She then beat Aliyah down with a series of kicks, before taking her down with a windmill kick for the win.
Grade: C. This would’ve been a C+, but the botch lowered it a bit. It was mostly a squash, and I was happy to see Li get a win. Sucks that she messed up though.
Kushida vs. Denzel something: before the match happened, Imperium showed up and attacked Denzel. It was just Alexander Wolfe, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel, until they nailed Denzel with a Doomsday European Uppercut. Walter then walked down to the ring, much to the delight of the crowd. Walter then got on the mic, and vowed to destroy anyone who didn’t respect the tradition of the ring. However, Kushida came out to interrupt him. Kushida got on the mic and yelled at them for taking time away from him. They tried to attack him, with Kushida holding them off for a while, until Wlater got a hold of him. Kushida was able to nail a kick on Walter, and then booked it to the back.
Grade: B. The segment felt a bit sloppy here and there, but I am really excited to see Walter on NXT proper. He is awesome, and so is Kushida. I would love to see that match. It seems totally awesome, and Kushida just may have a shot at winning. Kushida is just as big of a deal as Walter, so it’d be interesting to see if Kushida is out next UK Champion.
Lio Rush vs. Oney Lorcan for #1 contendership to the WWE Crusierweight Championship: Lio Rush is back! After Bobby Lashley ditched him, he is back to being an awesome wrestler. Right at the bell Lorcan destroyed him with a huge European uppercuts in the corner, and eventually a blockbuster for a quick near fall. Rush then countered out of the Half and Half suplex, before nailing three suicide dives in a row. Rush hit some nice offense on Lorcan beore scoring a near fall. Lorcan quickly forced his way back into the match and locked in a half crab, but Rush kicked Lorcan away. Lorcan then hit Rush up with chops, and a huge slam for a near fall. Lorcan then tried to throw him into the ropes, but Lio bounced off the bottom rope and nailed a stunner for a near fall. Rush then went for a frog splash, but he landed on his feet and tweaked his knee, allowing Lorcan to nail a powerbomb and lock in a single leg crab again. He then transitioned into an STF, but Rush made the ropes after a long sqeuence. Lorcan then went for a chop to the face, but Rush countered with a series of strikes, only for Lorcan to fire up and nail several chops to the face. Lorcan went for a running move, but Rush caught him in a standing spanish fly. He then hit the frog splash and got the win.
Grade: B+. I was a bit unsure about this match, because Rush didn’t start out by moving as fast as he normally does. But I can attribute that to some ring rust, because they ended up putting on a really really good match. Rush is a good babyface in peril, even with Lorcan remaining a face throughout. Lorcan looked badass, but Rush looked resilient. Great way to convey their characters, and it was a really fun match. Welcome back Lio.
Matt Riddle vs. Killian Dain in a Street Fight: They started out with some violent power moves from Dain, but Riddle answered him back with some suplexes of his own. Dain quickly grabbed a kendo stick and beat him down on the floor off to the side of the stands. The two fought outside, and Walter decided to just run out and attack Riddle. Imperium joined in, and then like everyone in the tag division ran out and started to brawl. Dain and Riddle got back into the arena, with the locker room following them. Security started to try to separate Dain and Riddle, but a bunch of the wrestlers beat down the security. During the scuffle, we saw Killain Dain give a crowd a suicide dive. Then the show just ended.
Grade: D. I’m not into getting a whole bunch of adds that made it seem like there would finally be a resolution to this feud, and then a bunch of randos got involved and stopped the match from happening. I’m sorry, I love Riddle and Dain is good too, but the booking here was garbage. They need to settle their differences eventually, and it should’ve been tonight.
Overall grade: B-
Pros: fatal 4-way; north american championship; dunne vs. ruas; imperium attack; cruiserweight match
Cons: there were so many commercials in the first hour; li vs. aliyah; main event

WWE Raw - March 18, 2019: Highlights and Review
Tumblr media
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman open the show This week WWE Raw got opened with a promoas usual. What wasn't usual though, was that Brock Lesnar made an appearance on Raw after god knows how long. He got booed by the Chicago crowd as he made his way down the ring. Heyman starts the promo with his usual schtick introducing Brock Lesnar to us. He challenged the statements made by Rollins the previous week. He said Brock Lesnar defeated all the man that Rollins said he had a hard time with. In the end, he was the victor against Styles, Bryan and Balor. He hyped the main event of the show saying that what was Rollins thinking challenging a career killer like Drew McIntyre for a match days before his match with Brock Lesnar. This brings out McIntyre who is happy that he is finally getting the respect that he deserves. McIntyre suggests to Heyman that he must find another opponent for Brock because after McIntyre is done brutalizing Rollins, he won't make it to WrestleMania. Seth Rollins comes from behind and hit McIntyre with chair shots on the back. He looks at Brock and heads towards the ring with the chair in his hands. Lesnar just jumps out and leaves. This was a fine segment. It is always nice to see both the competitors hyping up their match instead of the same promo by only one of them. Also did a decent job to hype the audience for the main event of the show. Rating: 3.5/5 Finn Balor is out next. He will be in a tag team match with a mystery partner against Lashley and Rush. Blair grabs a mic and said that he wasn't a lucky Irish last week when he lost his Intercontinental championship match to Bobby Lashley. He said he wouldn't be a former champion for too long though. Lashley and Rush interrupt. Lashley poses with the title. Balor said he will get his hands on the title very soon. And his partner will get his hands on both them. Brain Strowman us revealed as Balor's tag team partner Finn Balor and Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush Lashley and Rush dominate Balor. Balor gets very little offence in the match. The heels tried to avoid Baloe tagging in Strowman into the match. Strowman finally gets in the ring with Rush. He throws Rush across the ring before stomping him on the chest. Rush almost made a comeback when Lashley hit a spear on Strowman. But Braun kicks out after a frog splash attempt from Lio. Rush tried to run away but he is caught by Balor. Balor got shoulder tackled by Lashley, who got run over by Braun. Braun throws Rush into the ring for a chokeslam and then a running powerslam for the win. Winner: Finn Balor and Braun Strowman I am not that much invested in the IC title storyline. The match was fine. They are still booking Lashley to be strong. Balor barely got any offence in the match which is not great. Rating: 2/5 Backstage, Ronda Rousey is walking into the arena with her husband, Travis Browne. They walk into the referee John Cone who told Ronda that she is late. He also told her that in addition to the fine on Ronda, they have also increased security. Rousey just ignores and walks away. A Moment of Bliss w/ Elias Bliss hyped herself up as a great talk show host. She said she has inspired Lily Singh to be a talk show host before she introduces Elias. Elias comes out playing his guitar. He announces that he will be the headlining musical act at WrestleMania. He made some field goal reference which I didn't get. But the Chicago crowd did who booed him. He is talking about how if someone interrupts him at Mania he will... But before he can say anything else he is interrupted by the No way Jose's conga line led by Otus and Tucker. One of the members hit Elias and it was revealed that No way Jose was an intruder in his own conga line. Okay... No way Jose gets into the ring for a match with Elias. Elias vs No Way Jose Some back and forth action in the match. The crowd was dead for this one. The conga line tried to rally the crowd chanting his name but no one else made a sound in the arena. The finish came when Elias hit Jose with an elbow drop led by the drift away. Winner: Elias I guess this is a feud now. No one is interested in it but it is a feud. The match in itself was nothing special. Rating: 1/5 Kurt Angle announces his WrestleMania opponent Kurt Angle reminded us that he will have his farewell match at WrestleMania. He also said that his farewell tour will continue tonight. A "Thank You Kurt" chants by the crowd to which Kurt thanked the crowd back. He went on to thank the McMahon family to allow him to choose his WrestleMania opponent. And he announced that he will face the man who made his life living hell when he was WWE Raw General Manager. And that man is... BARON CORBIN. The crowd booed hearing his name. He said he will make Corbin tap out at Mania. Oh it's true... It's damn true. I will give this announcement and the following match separate rating. With all the dream matches that you could have had, with the roster depth that you had to choose an opponent for Kurt for his last match. They seriously went for Baron Corbin?! This is furious. The crowd booed not because he is a great heel but because we don't want to see this match. When Kurt said those line, that felt so scripted and badly acted too. Rating: 0.5/5 Kurt Angle vs Chad Gable Gable shaped Angle's hand and said that Angle is his hero. They did some technical wrestling in the ring. Kurt delivered a belly to belly suplex to Gable. Angle tried to go for the Angle Lock but Gable gets out and rolls him up for two. Kurt tried to hit three German suplexes but Gable got out of the second one and locks in Angle lock which got booed by the crowd. Angle gets out and tried to go for Angle Slam, Gable countered with a DDT. Gable went on the top rope for a moonsault. Angle moved out if the way and applies Angle Lock. Gable tries to fight but taps out. Winner via submission: Kurt Angle I will take this match over Angle vs Corbin at any damn time. This was not a great match. Just an average match with some spots. But still, Gable is a great wrestler and deserves much better. Rating: 2.5/5 Corbin comes out in a sea of boos by the crowd after the match. He said he will humiliate him in his last match. The crowd chanted for Cena. And I also wanted Cena to come out, but he is nowhere to be seen. In-ring interview with WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Boss & Hug connection Before the segment, Baron Corbin is talking to The Revival backstage. He is interrupted by Apollo Crews who challenged him for a match later tonight. He said that no one likes him to which he replied that The revival likes him. Revival just walked off saying "Hell no!" Carly Caruso is in the ring to interview Boss & Hug. She mentions that IIconics think that Banks and Bayley are ducking them by not appearing on SmackDown. Bailey announces that they will fight anyone. That's why they will appear on SmackDown tomorrow night and It'll be iconic, mocking the IIconic's pose. Natalya and Beth Phoenix interrupts them and gets in the ring. Beth said that Nia and Tamina ignited the fire inside her and now she is ready to step out of retirement to fight for the one thing that she has never held - The women's tag titles. Bailey and Banks cut a bit heelish promo on their opponents. They said that Competition is now evolved and Beth should take more time to prepare. This got heated and led to a mild brawl between the teams. Sasha Banks w/ Bayley vs Natalya w/ Beth Phoenix This was a short match. Both the women hit some of their signature moves. Banks is out recovering after a discus clothesline from Natalya. Nia Jac comes out on the stage. Nia mocks Beth and said she had accomplished more in her 3 years than Beth ever did in her career.. This was all a distraction as Tamina comes out from the crowd and throws Beth to the post before super-kicking Baykey and Banks to end the match. Winner by Disqualification: Sasha Banks Tamina ran away from Natalya back to Nia. They both laughed on top of the stage. Fine segment Beth Phoenix stepping out of retirement didn't feel like a big thing as we all saw it coming. The match was nothing. This was just to build a multi-team match at Mania, I believe. Rating: 2/5 Mojo Rawley is talking with himself in the mirror. I can't recall what he said. But I don't think it matters either. Ricochet vs Jinder Mahal w/ Singh Brothers Mahal dominated some of the match with chin locks and with the help of Singh Brothers. Ricochet made a comeback later he hit a running shooting star press. Mahal was pulled out by the Singhs. Ricochet got everyone with a dive on the outside. He throws Mahal in the ring and hit 630 for the win. Winner: Ricochet I hope this is not a feud. If it is it will be a lacking one. You can't even say it was a squash match as Mahal did get some offence in it. It was just there to showcase Ricochet's moves. Rating: 2/5 It was announced that Sue Aitchison will receive the warrior award at the Hall of Fame Ceremony. WWE Raw Women's Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (c) vs Dana Brooke Brooke had a backstage interview with Charly, who said that Ronda beat the likes of Becky and Charlotte and she is... Dana get what she meant and said that she might not be better but she needs to be better than Ronda for three seconds. The match starts. Dana blocked on a kick from Ronda but she caught Brooke with a jumping knee. She hit some more knees before applying an armbar for the win. Winner via Submission and still Raw Women's Champion: Ronda Rousey Rousey didn't let go of the armbar even after the bell rang. Dana was shouting in pain. She finally let go as a ref ran down the ring. She pushed him away and more security ran down. Ronda went to kiss her husband in the front row and slapped a security guy down. Travis pulled her in the crowd and calmed her down to walk away with her. This was more of a segment after the match than the match itself. I didn't mind the badass Ronda it is always good. I hope she just does it without reminding us that wrestling us scripted off TV. Loved how she just squashed Dana too. Rating: 3/5 Baron Corbin vs Apollo Crews Apollo dodged a slide out clothesline from Corbin. Corbin did his deadly move - the chin lock. He also hit his secondary moves like Deep Six but Crews kicked out. The crowd was chanting for Cena. Corbin went for end of days but Crews countered into a roll up for the win. Winner: Apollo Crews Not bothered by this match if they are working as they are doing a great job as I was bored by this match and hated them for this. Angle joined Crews on top of the ramp. Rating: 1/5 Interview with Batista via Satellite Michael Cole is conducting the interview with Batista who is live from Tampa, Florida. Barista said that he just doesn't like Triple H and he never did. Cole asks if it goes back to their Evolution days. He said it goes way beyond than that. He said Triple H just uses people to make him look good. Whether it was DX or Evolution. Cole asked why he quit in 2010. Barista replies he didn't quit. He was not getting opportunities that he deserved by his Boss Triple H. That's why he quit. He made a huge name for himself outside of WWE after that and become famous. He just hopes that Vince McMahon fires Triple H and end his professional career. At WrestleMania, he will end his in-ring career. He announced the interview to be over and demanded that camera crew got out. This was a great promo by Batista. He has just one goal and that is to end Triple H's career at Mania Rating: 3.5/5 Brain Strowman announced that he will be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in a backstage interview. Drew McIntyre comes out to cut a promo before his match against Rollins. He said that he wants to talk to Joe the man, not Roman Reign. Joe, the father and the husband. He challenged him for a match at WrestleMania and said he may have been able to beat leukaemia but he won't be able to beat him. Rollins and McIntyre brawls midway in through the ramp as the match is going to start next. Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins There was action all around. Rollins avoided getting thrown to the steel steps and hits a moonsault, but Drew moved out if the way. McIntyre was going for a powerbomb in tge ring but Rollins countered with a hurricanrana. Rollins tried to go for a suicide dive on Drew but Drew caught him and throw him into the barricade. Later Rollins did two consecutive suicide dives on McIntyre and even hit him with his Superplex into a falcon arrow for a near fall. Rollins stomps his feet on the ring calling for the curb stomp. Before he could hit it Lesnar music hits and he comes out with Heyman to distract Rollins. As Rollins turns around to take care of Drew he ran straight into a Claymore. Winner: Drew McIntyre This was by far the best match on the show storyline wise as well as wrestling wise. I didn't like the booking though. You could have had Lesnar just laying out Rollins to end it a DQ or some way. I know you want to build Drew up for Reigns but you gotta build Rollins up as well. Rating: 3.5/5 This week's WWE Raw was very boring and frustrating tbh. It felt like a lot of fillers and boring matches. The bits I liked were the opening segment, Batista's promo and the main event. The rest was very poor. WWE Raw Rating: 2/5 Do let us know what you thought if WWE Raw this week. If you want to contact us you can do so here. Catch all the past WWE Raw Reviews here. The Hero//Yeo One (Pentagon)
(A/N: Sorry I didn’t upload yesterday. I had to handle some things. Anyways, this is something I made today just to contribute something and I will be posting twice a day from now on, once in the morning and once at night. This sin’t the best but I’m here to learn and grow, right? Anyways, enjoy!)
Pairing: Yeo Changgu x Reader
Genre: Fairytale!au, fluff
Warnings: Terrible writing (?)
Words: 2.1k (This is so long! I’m sorry!)
You groaned as you shifted in your bed, a faint echo drawing you from your slumber before actual words were made out, causing you to open your eyes groggily.
“Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let down your hair!” That voice was familiar.
You groaned as he continued screaming, your body flying upwards from the bed as you searched around the small tower’s room before finding an old book. You approached the window to see Changgu staring up hopefully, his horse patiently waiting for him to silence his decree before riding off for another day but, you, had no time.
You let out a loud yell as you tossed the hard covered book at him, watching him stumble as it hit his shoulder. He stared at you in bewilderment as you leaned out the window.
“I’m not Rapunzel! She’s on the other side of the forest! We’ve done this too many times, Changgu!” You screamed in annoyance as he reached down to grab the book, placing it on the satchel strapped to his horse. What a thief.
“Rapunzel is said to be a beautiful maiden with long flowing hair, trapped in a tower by an evil witch. I’m here to save you.”
“Listen, I’m gorgeous, I know, but she’s on the other side of the forest!”
You were Rapunzel, you just didn’t wish to be saved. Not by him, that is. Changgu found you months ago while wandering, escaping his village as he was the town’s thief. He was handsome enough to trick everyone into trusting him and clever enough to rob them blind. He was a fox and you weren’t falling for his tricks. You sent him on wild goose chases for the princess that was you, pinning your hair up to hide its length and taking on the new name of Ophelia to throw him off yet, he always came back, calling for you day after day.
Changgu wasn’t an idiot. He knew who you were, your story, everything. But, what he truly cared about was your hair. Legend had told it you were a princess, who knew how much it would sell for? Hell, who knew how much you’d sell for? All he knew is that he had to have it, one or both.
He sighed sadly, hiding his smile as he looked back up to you.
“That’s a shame. It’ll take me days to get through this forest by horse. I was only hoping to rescue a trapped maiden tonight, to show her a world he has yet to experience.”
He mentally laughed as he watched your eyes widen slightly. You have never been outside the tower. Your baths and meals were all given here in this almost cramped room, the closest thing to freedom was the fresh air you got from the triangular window. He wasn’t the person you wanted to rescue you, or anyone you wanted to be around for that matter, but, if it wasn’t him, then who? Another thief 20 years from now? A woodsman who wouldn’t hear your cries over the sound of his axe cutting into trees? It was now or never at this point.
You sighed and slowly climbed onto the window sill, Changgu smiling brightly as he watched your hand reach to your hair, hoping you’ll release your locks from the bun on your head but, instead, you let out a loud yawn, still not over the rude awakening.
“Okay, catch me.”
“Catch you? That’s a hundred foot dr-“ He watched as you jumped down, your hands attempting to hold your dress down as he began panicking. Would your hair save you? Would you somehow land on your feet? You were insane for this!
He snapped out of his thoughts as you let out an amused scream, your body much closer at this point and all he could think to do was catch you, letting out a yell as you fell into his arms, hurting his shoulder a bit.
You slowly removed yourself from his arms as he held back from crying, your feet dragging you to his horse that seemed quite friendly as you pet her mane.
“Here, let me help.” Changgu said as he finally eased the aching in his arm.
He wrapped his arms around your waist and hoisted you onto the large steed, his hand on your lower back as you wobbled slightly, smiling to him once you found your balance. He easily climbed on behind you, moving closer so that your back was pressed to his chest. You watched he reached forward to grab your hands, placing them onto the horse’s reins before peeking over your shoulder to look at you.
“Hold on tight, okay?” Before you could even nod in response, you were off, letting out a small yelp as the horse galloped into the forest.
A small smile grew on your face as you watched the trees pass by. So green and alive, unlike the few flowers in your tower that had died. You slowly removed your hand from his as you reached out to touch the leaves that passed by in flashes. They were soft against your hand, making you laugh excitedly.
Although his motives weren’t pure, Changgu couldn’t help but admit the sight before him was heartwarming. He could only imagine what it was like waiting in that tower for years. Knowing no one or nothing, having only yourself, it saddened him. But, the way you laughed as you gripped the trees and looked around anxiously at the sound of frogs from the nearby pond brought him some joy. He slowly brought his horse to a trot before ultimately stopping. Your eyes saw a wide open field with a large barren patch where a fire burned, a small tent just by it.
“Is this where you sleep?” You asked cautiously, feeling his body move from yours as he stepped down from the horse, reaching up to grab your waist and help you onto your feet.
“Yes, just until-“
“Until the village stops hating you?” You smirked up to him as he laughed slightly, forgetting he had confessed that to you some time ago.
“Have you eaten today?” He asked, leading you towards the fire before allowing you to sit on a nearby log.
You shook your head sadly, a small hum leaving his mouth as he turned from you. You watched with curious eyes as he slowly pushed off his coat, peeling away his shirt and shoes. Changgu’s hands reached towards his pants and you shyly looked away, hearing the material fall to the ground before a sudden splash. You turned back to see he had disappeared.
“Changgu?” You called, the only sound heard were from insects and the horse nearby eating what grass was still alive.
You gasped as you watched a head emerge from the water, Changgu gasping for air before diving back into the water, searching eagerly for a fish. You, unknowing to his plan, quickly kick off your strapped boots, rushing into the water to save him. You had no idea how to swim and your large dress wasn’t much help either, the material practically swallowing you as you tried to stay afloat.
Changgu watched as your feet kicked frantically, your head dipping beneath the water every so often before making his way towards you. You screamed slightly as he wrapped an arm around you, the other pushing your dress down as he swam closer to the land.
“Are you out of your mind?”
“I thought you were drowning.” You said in response to his scolding.
He hurriedly placed you on the edge of the pond before climbing up next to you, your eyes quickly scanning him before looking away. So, that was what the male body looked like…
~*~*~
You stepped out of the tent, clad in Changgu’s coat that surprisingly covered everything, your dress hung up to dry on a nearby tree. Changgu sat in front of the fire, poking at the fish he caught as you were changing. You took a seat next to him on the small log, shifting slightly to not fall off. He had dressed himself but refused to wear his shirt, the slight breeze not bothering him as the fire’s warmth overruled it.
“So, I guess you do care about me.” You gave him a questioning look as he smirked, looking over to you before you looked away, your eyes landing on the sunset.
“Think of it as a debt. You helped me escape, helped me start a life I never thought I’d have, and I saved your life. Well, you saved mine, again. Besides, who am I supposed to explore the world with if you die?” You said with a slight chuckle, crossing your arms over your body.
Changgu watched as you crossed your legs and rubbed your arms together, obviously in need of warmth. He silently wrapped his arm around you, pulling you into his side as you continued to look ahead, actually enjoying his presence at this moment.
“So would that mean that you owe me twice now?” You rolled your eyes at the inquiry before nodding hesitantly.
“My first request is for you to let your hair down. It’ll never dry this way.” He stated as you sat up a bit. He was right but you also knew he was curious as to your hair’s true length.
You sighed and reached into your hair, pulling out the single bobby pin that held it together. He watched in amazement as your hair cascaded down your back falling to the ground in a pile that stopped just at your lower back. You sighed happily as the weight was removed before moving it over your shoulder, letting it fly almost 20 feet ahead of you, landing just by the horse that whinnied at the sight of it, stomping it hooves on it as it mistook it for a snake.
“Hey!” You yelled as it walked away from the strands, your lips pouting slightly before you turned back to the male whose eyes never left your locks.
He could be rich. The length was extraordinary and, coming from a princess, it’d sell for thousands. He slowly looked back at you, knowing what his final request would be but he froze. Your face was shaped differently as your hair framed one said of your face, the sun now gone allowing the fire to enhance your features, your eyes shining as you found his, confused as to why he was staring so much.
He had you right where he wanted you but couldn’t help but see the excitement and trust in your eyes, the way you listened to him, jumped to his rescue, even while knowing who he was and what he’s done, you were on his side.
He smiled slightly, exhaling from his nose as he cupped your exposed cheek, brushing his thumb over your skin as your eyes followed his hand before meeting his eyes once more.
“My last request is that you promise to stay by my side no matter what.” It was a bold demand but he was the only person you knew and even someone who could entertain you while learning more about who you are and the world around you.
“I promise.”
You stared at one another, your eyes lowering shyly as he moved closer, his lips inching closer to yours before suddenly stopping.
“(Y/N).”
“Who?” You asked, backing away in shock as he only looked at you.
“(Y/N)!” He called again, making you grimace as he continued, your eyes shutting but it only made his voice grow louder.
“(Y/N)!” Changgu jumped back as you snapped out of your world, your eyes going between him and the unfinished novel on your laptop’s screen.
He was dressed for bed, his eyes still so bright although he was clearly exhausted. He slowly moved closer to you from the doorframe where he stood, wrapping his arms around your neck and placing his chin onto your head as you read over the few lines of your story, his eyes following along with your cursor.
“Are you ready to sleep yet?” He asked tiredly, your eyes looking to the corner to see it was almost 2am.
“Uhm, yeah, sorry. I didn’t think you’d wait for me.” You admitted, saving your work and shutting your laptop before Changgu helped to move your chair back, holding your hands as he brought you to your feet.
“I’d always wait for you. I can’t sleep without by my side.” You rolled your eyes at how romantic yet cheesy he was, letting him drag you from your small office and down the hall to your bedroom, a small smile gracing your lips as he patiently waited for you to change and crawl into bed with him, his arms wrapping around you protectively as his lips pressed to your cheek and shoulder.
He was always by your side, like a bodyguard, except you didn’t need his protection, you only wanted his loving presence. No wonder your male protagonist were always like him.

APHS: Chapter 4
Tumblr media
A/N: Chapter 4 is finally here! Thanks to @flamencodiva for my Beta as well as some ideas! She also has a companion fic to this! The Frog Princess! WC:  2162 TW; Blood Mention
Tumblr media
Storybrooke Time seemed to pass rather quickly since Graham’s death. Emma had become a permanent resident in Storybrooke, taking over Graham’s position as Sheriff of Storybrooke. Back at home, Sam was still arguing with Ruby. What did this woman not understand? Sam didn’t want to be with her anymore, especially when Sam heard that she had been sleeping around with other men. Besides Sam’s constant arguments with Ruby, which were growing annoying and tiresome, Sam was attempting to try and repair what relationship he had with Y/N. He’d noticed Dean was trying to help out Amaya, the young woman who owned the Amphibian Emporium. He knew that those two had a rocky relationship, especially when the brothers had dinner at Granny’s as usual when they weren’t eating at their own apartments after a long day’s work.
“How are things with Y/N?” Dean asks, changing the subject of Sam talking about him and Amaya.  The elder brother knew Sam was finally kicking Ruby out of his apartment and made him feel a little better.  Yes, Sam and Y/N had their arguments. Hell, even he and Amaya had arguments, but something told him there was a connection between Sam and Y/N. “Haven’t really spoken to her since she came into Granny’s the night Graham died.” He admits with a shrug. “You still having those crazy-ass dreams?” Sam asks his younger brother. Dean had been having nightmares and hearing voices when he slept at night. Sam didn’t want to tell anyone yet, but he had them too. The dreams he had were different from Dean’s. But both of them had been spending more time with the Mayor’s son. Dean rubbed the back of his neck, desperately wanting to change the subject. “I picked up extra work,” He commented. This made Sam blink his eyes. “Besides working at the garage and working as a sub gym teacher, you picked up another job?” Sam asks in shock. Dean hesitated a moment too long, which made Sam sit up a little straighter in his chair. “This is the part where you tell me where you're working?” Sam huffed impatiently. “Yes, I took another job,“ Dean mutters after several moments of silence. Trying to brush off the subject.
The anger in Sam's face radiated with heat. Yes, they had funds to owe Rowena, but now Dean had to get another job? “Listen, don't worry about me, Sam, alright?” Dean replied with a simple shrug.
“You-You’re kidding, right?” Sam scoffed, running a hand over his face in an attempt to calm down his temper. Dean was clearly trying to brush him off, but Sam wasn't letting him hide a secret from him.
“What on Earth could you possibly be doing to help with work, Dean? I'm already busting my ass as it is, with what little work I have.” Dean was now starting to become irritated now. His own face grew warm as his anger built. Why wouldn't Sam drop this?
“You said don't worry about you?” Sam continues, seeing Dean's face change, hoping this push would be what he needed to say to get Dean to tell him why he took on extra work. Dean's arms crossed his chest. Clearly, he wasn't revealing why.
“Dean, I'm your brother!” Sam says, raising his voice into a yell. “Why won't you tell me?”
Dean's eyes narrowed, his chest rising and falling as he took shaky breaths. “Just drop it, Sam!” He says through clenched teeth.
Sam wasn't dropping this. Crossing his own arms, Sam's hazel eyes stared into his brother's emerald green ones. Waiting for an answer. Dean stood his ground. Being family was one thing, but did he have to reveal every little part of his life to Sam? Sure, Sam had secrets from him. Why couldn't Dean have this? Seeing that Sam wasn't standing down either, Dean scoffed, glaring at him.
“The other job is because Amaya needed my help.” Dean says irritably, “She was behind on her rent, and Gold was threatening to shut her down!” Sam stood from his chair, pulling at his hair. Groaning both inwardly as well as vocally. “Is this because you can’t keep your promises to her?” He says with a scoff. “Or is this you trying to impress her, now that she’s with Trenton and not you?” Dean groaned, rolling his eyes before standing to switch all the garage lights off. His body tensed hearing his name. “Do me a favor, Sammy?” Dean says, in a miffed tone, “Worry about your own life for once and work on getting Ruby out of your apartment.” Apparently, this topic was closed for the time being. ------ Enchanted Forest “Gabriel was looking for you,” Bobby, the stable master, says as he watches the younger prince approach riding Onyx. Sam felt exhausted from riding from the Charmings. Hearing that the Fairy, who was head of Winchester Castle archives, was looking for him? Hopefully, he was bearing good news. On his way to the archives, however, his mother and father apparently had other ideas. His father cleared his throat as his younger son passed by without greeting. With an internal groan, Sam turned to greet his father, bowing as a sign of respect, even if it was just a nod of his head. “Samuel, I have someone I would like to introduce you to,” John says, placing a welcoming hand on the woman who stood beside him. The woman had brunette hair that fell just above her breasts. Her gown was a deep burgundy red in the Irish style that flowed to the floor. It was laced in the front with black ribbon trim. The ends of the sleeves, on both elbows, down the front in a thin line dropping from the neckline,  were covered in a soft black fabric.
On top of the black material were delicate silver swirls, making the dress shimmer in the sunlight. The brunette gave a short yet polite curtsy as John introduced her, “Son, say hello to Princess Ruby of  Avrinyth on the Isle of Dagua.” “A pleasure to meet you, your highness.” Ruby greeted, giving Sam a bright smile. “Your father had told me so much about you in his letters, but let me assure you, your portraits do not do you justice. You are more handsome in person.” She says in almost a flirtatious tone. Sam cleared his throat, feeling awkward and uncomfortable. He knew that Ruby had a reputation for sleeping with other men and even being a mistress for some of them. Then again, those are just rumors possibly, but who knows. Sam had other things to worry about right now. Still, remembering his manners again, Sam gave a short yet polite nod. “Forgive me, Princess Ruby, but I have a meeting that I’m late for.” He says, moving to rush off before his father could stop him Watching his youngest son run off down the corridor, he sighed, hanging his head as he looked apologetically at Ruby. “I am so sorry for my son’s behavior. It appears that his mind is still hooked on making sure Odette returns back to the palace alive. He claims to have found her but has no proof to his claims.” Ruby offers the king a kind smile, but something seems a bit off to him. The way her eyes shined, almost mischievously, had King John wondering if Sam had the right idea about her. “First loves,” the princes said, “are very hard to forget, Your Highness.” The king couldn’t help but agree as he turned to face his wife, “indeed they are, young Princess. Indeed they are.” “John, why don’t you have one of the guards escort the princess to her room? Allow her time to get settled in from such a long journey.” After a pause, seeing the same glint in Ruby’s eyes as her husband had. “We’ll all meet down for dinner shortly.” Mary smiled, linking her arm with her husband. The king cleared his throat, nodding at one of the nearby guards. John and Mary left with a slight bow in Ruby’s direction before leaving towards their chambers. Once alone, John cleared his throat, keeping his gaze forward as he talked in hushed tones to his queen. “Her reputation precedes her,” John says, clearing his throat, “She is indeed a beautiful woman, but there is also the rumor about her sharing another man’s bed.” “That rumor may be true, but we have our kingdom to worry about,” Mary adds, stopping just outside their door before heading inside. “Dean will take over, you know this, Mary,” John sighed. “I have a feeling that our eldest will help bring another kingdom into our fold.” Mary blinked in a bit of amazement, finding herself speechless as she looked at her husband. “John, you honestly believe that the kingdom of Irinica will agree to such a match?” Opening the door to their chambers, allowing Mary to enter first, John nodded. “You know as well as I that Dean made a promise to help the Princess, after all,” he says, pausing for a moment, “A promise given is a promise kept. And I can’t help but feel that there is more to the Kingdom of Irinica. As if we’ve all forgotten something important about it.” ---- Storybrooke The argument with Dean had Sam still fuming. Worry about himself for once and not his elder brother’s issues? Weren’t they a family? Wasn’t family supposed to help each other? Sam couldn’t go home. He knew all too well that Ruby hadn’t moved out yet. She’d barely touched any of her belongings. Sam wasn’t in the mood to even touch her things. If he had his way about it, he’d toss everything in a box, leaving it outside his door. True, he and Dean had spent an afternoon packing her clothes. However, that was as far as it went. Trying to think of something to do, Sam happened upon an idea. There was a specific person he wanted to visit. Well, their grave anyway. With a heavy heart, Sam makes his way to Storybrooke Cemetery. Across town, Y/N stood in the office with Rowena and her son. “Rowena, please, I’ve been working hard to pay off my debt. You can’t just make me leave. How else am I going to make my payments to pay you back!” She argued. Trying to hold back the emotion in her voice. A mix of sadness and begging was in her tone. “If you had just agreed to marry me when I first offered, sweetheart,” Crowley says, leaning against the filing cabinet, arms crossed as his gaze focused on her. “Then, perhaps we wouldn’t be in this little predicament.” Since Crowley had brought Y/N into Rowena’s office during this entire conversation,  she had been absently scribbling on her notes. Not writing anything in particular, but it made her seem distracted and uninterested. The girl had been offered her son as a bargain. In exchange,  Rowena would pay Y/N’s Father’s funeral and hospital bills. However, the stubborn girl had refused, resulting in their agreement of Y/N working off her debt. “I’ve said it over and over, but you just don’t get it!” Y/N shouted, her tone becoming more clipped and irritated. This time, her anger was poised at Crowley instead of his mother. “I will not marry you. You can offer me all the money in the world. However, my answer remains the same. No.” For the first time since Y/N had entered her office, Rowena’s gaze lifted from her writing, tone flat, almost as a threat. “Then dearie, I suggest you find employment elsewhere. Just because you don’t have a job doesn’t mean I’ll find ways to make sure the money you owe is repaid.” “I’m not as bad as you claim me to be.” Crowley tries to add as a final plea for her to see reason and accept the bargain. “I’ll be a good husband for you.” Clearly, Y/N’s words were not clear enough for them to understand. With an aggravated scoff, she glared at the pair. “Use my last paycheck to go towards whatever I owe you,” She snapped. Storming out of the building, Y/N did all she could to wait till she was away from prying eyes before the tears flowed freely from her eyes. There was only one place she wanted to be, somewhere she knew she could be alone. Her father’s grave. As she made her way through the cemetery, someone was sitting in front of it. They were whispering as if getting things off his chest. Approaching the figure in the dark, Y/N was shocked as she looked at the man sitting beside her Fathers grave.  “Sam?” She lets out in a breath, “what on earth are you doing here.” Sam looked nervous that he’d been caught out here, but all he could respond with were two words. “Evening, Y/N.”

Oooooh this is an interesting one. Apologies on the lateness on this ask, I decided to give you probably more detail than I needed on Nas, Bobbi, Gideon, Jim and Hazel. I know I write Jim a lot but Hazel is probably my favorite because she’s just a straight up bad ass and she and Emma bond over the fact they’ve both been arrested, granted Hazel was arrested for overzealous activist that lead to a bit of a riot. I hope you enjoy them as much I do.
Nasira, Harrison’s wife - eldest daughter of Jasmine and Aladdin, she’s vivid, vibrant and loves wearing things with a lot of color and personality. She will never go out in public without wearing jewelry or make-up. She loves incense and strong perfumes and often you can smell her coming before she even arrives. Like Harrison, she’s very self-conscious and an ambivert. She’s reserved and blunt, which some people sometimes take her attitude as someone whose a stuck-up bitch but really,  she’s a deeply caring and fierce person. Because she grew up somewhat privileged and sheltered, she sometimes can be naive about things and has no sense of money. I would call her a less offensive, midget version of Tahani from the Good Place. She’s tiny as hell. She’s 5’0’’ to Harrison’s 6’4’’ but when she’s pissed off she can make herself the most terrifying person in the world. If anyone messes with Harrison, she’s the first to smack the shit out of them. She abdicates from the throne to her younger brother Malik so she could be with Harrison. She ends up being Regina’s protege and takes over for her as mayor. Nasira is capable of magic but she’s not as strong as the Magic Trio (Wes, Bobbi and Gideon) and has a penchant for healing and protective magic.
Bobbi, Gideon, Jim and Hazel facts are under the cut.
Bobbi, Wes’s baby mama - my version of Zelena’s daughter Robin. I call her Bobbi because I think it’s fucking weird that they named her Robin and I thought Bobbi would be a chic and cool nickname. She’s tall and thin with long wavy auburn hair instead of blonde. Bobbi is a sarcastic glamour queen with a fondness for green flowy dresses and pea coats. She’s always dressed to kill and ready to kill you with her sick burns. She’s incredibly witty but hot tempered and easily goaded by Wes into crazy stunts. She’s a powerful witch and is incredibly close to both her mother and her aunt Regina. Her magical speciality is cursing and enchanting objects, most notably a scarf that compels you to tell the truth and her very own invisibility cloak. She’s an avid horse rider and often can be found with her horse Fiyero whenever she is troubled by something. Despite Regina’s urgings, Bobbi was never interested in leadership and her career of choice is working as a hematologist at the hospital.
Gideon, Wes’s occasional boyfriend. Wes has complicated relationships and can’t pick a lane. It’s frustrating for everyone. Anyway, my version of Gideon is sensitive, slightly tortured, super nerdy dork. He’s a total Momma’s boy and has a tense relationship with his father despite his love for magic. He was often picked on as a kid and didn’t have a lot of friends outside Bobbi and Wes. Like his mother, he loves book and has a near photographic memory. Because he spent a lot of time hiding in his father’s pawnshop, he has a huge love for vintage things including vintage clothes and old music. Him and Wes both have intense love for vinyls. Gideon is often the voice of reason out of him and Bobbi and is the only one who can generally talk Wes out of his ridiculous plans and ideas. Naturally because he’s a part of the magical trio, Gideon has magic (duh) and his specialty is often potions and magical horticulture. He has a fondness for flowers and always had a preference for his grandfather’s flower shop rather than the pawn shop. Gideon ends up inheriting the majority of his father’s business endeavours but spends the majority of his time in the music shop he co-owns with Wes. He also owns the flower shop, which was given to him after his grandfather passed but allows Ruthie Nolan to manage it.
Jim, Beth’s husband and parter-in-crime. You’re right, you probably know the most about Jim considering he’s featured in Once and Future Thing and various other snippets, however I’m not sure I’ve shared a lot about his past. Jim grew up with his mother who raised him alone after his father walked out on him. His mother owned an inn when the events of Treasure Island happen. When he returns with his part of the treasure, he comes back only to discover his mother has died in his absence and the inn had been foreclosed on. He uses a good chunk of his money to pay for his mother’s burial and tombstone. Because he’s still a minor, he’s taken in by the local schoolteacher and his family as an indentured servant. Needless to say, they were very abusive to him and he runaway at 17 with what’s left of his treasure and joins the navy. He’s stationed on a ship that helped protect slaver ships from pirates and when he protested against this, he was dishonourably discharged, beaten and left to die in a pirate port where he was saved by John Silver from being hung by an angry mob. He joins Silver’s crew and quickly becomes quartermaster due to his diligence and dedication. Sensing that the crew’s preference for Jim over him and seeing him as a potential issue to his captaincy, Silver gives Jim his own ship. He meets Beth four years into his captaincy of the aptly named Silver’s Spell. And well, it takes them five years to become a couple. They elope after they find out Beth’s pregnant with their son and have a massive argument because Jim wants to settle down and Beth wants to keep sailing. They compromise with spending the majority of the year in Storybrooke and sail in the summer. Jim works repairing boats and as unofficial harbourmaster while they’re in Storybrooke while Beth does private investigation.
Hazel, Ned’s wife, she’s honest to god my favorite. Hazel is Tiana and Naveen’s daughter. In this universe, Naveen is prince of Maldonia, which is a kingdom south of the Enchanted Forest. He slept with a witch and left her, which pissed her off and she sent him to the World Without Magic, specifically New Orleans which he met Tiana, helped her open her restaurant and raised four kids Reuben, Pepper, Ginger and Hazel with her. When the witch found out he was perfectly happy, she turned him into a frog. Of course, the family had no idea and thought he abandoned them. Hazel and her siblings were raised on stories of other realms, which is kinda the catalyst to her meeting Ned. Hazel is very clever and intelligence as well as a social activist and isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Her favorite memory is getting arrested during a protest against corruption by the Louisiana governor when she was 16. She has a strong sense of justice and while her teachers encouraged her to pursue law, she always had a preference for exposing injustice through the press. She goes to college and becomes the head of both the newspaper and the lit magazine as well as the BLSU and Ned submits a story based off his family to the lit magazine and she confronts him about it because it sounds similar to her dad’s stories and essentially because she’s a force of nature forces him to tell her about the EF, Storybrooke and everything. They basically decide to try to find her dad together, which they do and kinda fall in love along the way, though they don’t admit it for awhile. They’re “friends” for two years before they admit they’re a couple. They end up living outside Storybrooke with Ned as a lawyer and her as a leading journalist for New York newspaper.
For every “★” I get, I will post a fact about my characters.

Bringing Up Bates Season 7 Episode 4: SUNday FUNday
The family sees an eclipse and Michael goes to Dr. Vick.
-T
Gil is calling the kids gone to get ready for the solar eclipse.  Kelly’s old science teacher taught them about the eclipse back when they went to Spartanburg to visit. Michael and Brandon heard that date and immediately planned a trip.  Brandon asks Lawson for three balls to show what’s going to happen. Kelly also warned them all about looking at the sun without glasses on. Then Brandon gives Bobby a Basketball to represent the sun, Lawson gets a ping pong ball to represent the moon, and Brandon has a small blue ball to be the Earth.  Brandon walks the little kids through an explanation of the eclipse with the balls. A kind lady has allowed the Bates to have the party at her house. Kelly tells them to be respectful and loads the kids up to go off to this lady’s home. She is a church friend of Erin who is very kind to invite them all over. Whitney is sad Zach isn’t there and is working. The family who invited them used to own a party rental company so they pull out a snow cone machine, a cotton candy machine and they have a large inflatable slide going into their pool. Gil is worried one of the kids is going to damage the slide.  Kelly and Gil go down the slide together. The little kids enjoy snow cones and sliding. Judson says it was a cool day to do a birthday party.
The eclipse is starting so the kids start grabbing their glasses. Chad brought a bunch of welding helmet shields from work that had the appropriate rating for the eclipse. The kids start watching the eclipse. Lawson says it looks like Pacman. Some people are very excited. Brandon has his nice camera and he’s taking pictures though the welding shields. All the sudden it cools down and begins to get darker. Carlin begins to worry about the rapture.  The crickets and frogs start tripping and they start to see stars in the sky.  Nathan says they should have gone somewhere in the 100% path of totality. The Bates rave about how cool the eclipse was. Brandon got a really good picture of the eclipse at its peak. Brandon and Michael are so freaking cute how excited they are about the eclipse.  Erin and Michael talk about the upcoming visit to Dr. Vick. Michael says after this they’re going to take a little break. They’re hopeful but nervous, Kelly says.
It is time for Michael and Brandon to see Dr. Vick. They’re doing a procedure to see if there is a blockage or something. Dr. Vick comes in, and jokes that after Michael went to Chicago, the Cubs won. Michael is glad that it will be with Dr. Vick. The first round of blood work and tests says that there was no reason they weren’t conceiving and she was hyper ovulating. The next step is to do the tests to see if there’s a tubal blockage. They go into a small room to go the exam. There find a tubal blockage but her tubes are partially open and some of it was moved away by the test.  Michael says when it gets hard she focuses on the positives, and how close it has made them, there is a positive side as well.

telling tales
(Or how Arya Stark got a rep in SHIELD.)
(Set in the same universe as Friends and Family Discount.)
one.
For a secret agency devoted to dealing with the weird and wondrous, SHIELD… did not have a lot of people with powers.
At least, not that Arya could tell. Lots of people didn’t like being obvious about it, though, so if they could keep it secret, more power to them.
But it also meant that a lot of people were going by, as far as she could tell, horror movies and D&D monster manuals.
It was just embarrassing.
“Why are we eliminating this guy?” she asked Roz Solomon, who was fairly reliable, if mad about environmental science. They were trying to track a vampire who was trading in illegal goods- mostly hybridized weapons, though there was suspicions about some old, magical artifacts that Mal Hightower wanted in her archives. They’d present an answer, and see if it matched with the actual field agents.
“He’s out in the sun,” Hot Pie said. He had a real name, but no one really remembered it. Maybe if he didn’t get dead in a few years, Dolorous Edd had said.
“Vampires can go out in the sun,” Arya said, trying not to sound annoyed. “He’s not new, and they just can’t shapeshift in the sun. He’s working with plants and transporting a lot of dirt through customs, it could be a good way for him to set up a network of safe houses to rest.”
They looked at her.
“Check him out,” Hot Pie said, finally. “How do you know this shit?”
Arya wondered if it would be silly to admit she wrote a term paper on Dracula.
Two.
“I hate everything.” Roz was binding up a weeping section of her arm. “I’m an environmentalist, not a firefighter!”
“I don’t think firefighters would be a good idea right now,” Edd said, with a sigh. “The gear would cut down on agility. Of course, without it, we have to deal with burns and claws.”
Arya peeked her head up, looking at what she really hoped weren’t miniaturized Balrogs. There were three of them, sniffing along the street and leaving the smell of burning asphalt in their wake.
Her brothers would be wildly jealous, if they ever heard about it. Which they couldn’t, but Arya could imagine their expressions. That wasn’t a bad thing.
She took a deep breath in, held it until the three were almost in a tight triangle, and then exhaled, thinking cold thoughts.
The thick layer of frost over them was satisfying, at least until it steamed and cracked off. Arya pulled her head back quickly.
“That was both the most amazing and most disappointing thing I’ve ever seen,” Hot Pie said. Roz stepped on his foot.
“They have solid spots now,” Roz pointed out. “Think you can focus it all in a line?”
Arya nodded. She’d practiced that in secret, since Mom was… a bit overprotective. For good reason, but Arya hadn’t actually told anyone she was going to apply for SHIELD for a reason.
She took in a deep breath and focused, launching a needle-thin lance of ice at the closest lava monster. Once it landed, right in the gut, she poured more in, thickening it.
It froze and shattered, right in two.
“Now, that better not leave us with four of them,” Edd said.
It didn’t, but Agent Morse and her liquid nitrogen were very much welcomed.
The fact that the Frozen jokes never ended? Not so much.
three.
Oh, god, Arya thought, trying not to snicker when she saw a familiar figure bent over a corpse.
Being fair, Rhaenys was a medical examiner, and the corpse was on a… was it a gurney or an autopsy table, Arya could never remember? She had her gloves and scrubs on, though, and looked up with an annoyed expression that always reminded Arya of a Hobbit deprived of dinner somehow and was uncannily similar to Jon whenever he was confronted with social demands.
(Look, Arya’s brain was weird. She got that. But Sansa and Bran had blinked and started cackling like lunatics when she’d told them, so clearly she was right.)
“Can I help you?” she asked, before noticing Arya. “Hello, squirt. How’s the family?”
“Mom and Dad are away on their anniversary,” Arya said, “and Sansa isn’t dating, plus Rickon hasn’t gotten in a fight in two weeks, so pretty quiet.”
Rhaenys smiled. Hot Pie gave a slightly strangled noise, and Arya snorted. Rhaenys clearly wasn’t interested in being polite. “Lyanna’s off in somewhere with snow, and Jon is dating, though he won’t say who. Aegon is… I’m not entirely sure, so I should probably be worried. Now, why are you visiting me at work?”
“There’s a dead man we’re interested in,” Arya admitted. “Beric Dondarrion?”
“Ah, him,” Rhaenys frowned. “Very strange. I think I read something in the Dragonstone library, but you can smell the smoke, right?”
Arya raised her eyebrows. “I put oil under my nose. I heard your stories.”
“Well, this one didn’t have a chance to rot,” Rhaenys said, before picking up a scalpel. “Which is peculiar.”
“Strange, even?” Arya liked the creepy wizard, who had saved Bran’s butt. But the puns. Also the betting pool. Agent Morse shot Arya a curious look, which meant she probably shouldn’t have mentioned it, but Rhaella Targaryen would probably be able to shield Rhae from, well, SHIELD.
Or cranky Nymeria Sand, who argued that no one was allowed to torment Rhae about her bad choices but family. Given the fact that Nymeria might have been better than the Black Widow with knives, and hiding knives, Arya really didn’t think anyone argued.
Rhaenys stuck out her tongue. “He’s not involved, munchkin. I think we’ve got a necromancer, though, so if I say run...?”
“Run like hell, making sure you come with me, so I don’t get dead or frogged,” Arya said, grinning. “Depending on who finds me first.”
“Be fair, Aegon would probably just make you think you are a Yorkie,” Rhaenys teased.
The debriefing, which involved a lot of “What the hell, why didn’t you mention your not-quite-cousin was kind of… an enchantress? Is that the term?” and Arya trying to explain that Rhae was not, as a whole, good with people, not getting to hide in her work, and hurting people.
Rhaenys might have gotten the good hot chocolate with the recruiter that came to her door anyway.
Four.
“So,” Hot Pie asked, and Arya bit back a groan. That expression meant nothing good. “Are you related to Iron Man?”
The man himself was at the other end of the lab, having a cranky discussion with someone Arya thought was Sarella Sand and Agent Hope. Which was alarming? Ish. Meh, probably a two on the alarm scale, really.
“Not that I’m aware of,” Arya said, without thinking. “The family tree gets… snarled a bit once you go like four generations back. Sansa’s better with that stuff.”
She pulled out a yo-yo and started doing simple tricks. They weren’t quite on babysitting duty, and she’d prefer braining someone with a heavy yo-yo to the headache of shooting the tech.
Of course that caught Tony Stark’s attention.
“Bored, short stuff?” he called over. He’d made a few offhand comments, which made him better than most of their guard duty jobs, but the nicknames were stupid.
“Depends,” Arya said, choosing not to comment on the fact that she was pretty sure he was wearing lifts, “are you going to make something explode?”
“Not yet,” Tony Stark said, grinning. “You’re the Elsa of the little agents, aren’t you?”
Arya grinned and thought about the fact that Sansa was probably taller than him in flats. Hell, he was probably not more than an inch taller than Rhae. “I can make it snow over your head, yeah.”
He didn’t believe her until she actually did it, which over course was when Dr. Banner and the Deputy Director came in.
She made the Hulk laugh! Which was great. Also, she was pretty sure Deputy Director Hill was smiling at the sight of Iron Man trying to get a sudden fall of snow out from under his collar.
 Five.
She wasn’t even working.
She’d just agreed to babysit her tiny little nephew on her afternoon off, which she was regretting the moment she’d come into the apartment and Robb said she was a good sport and Mom was getting tired.
(Probably not actually tired, Arya guessed. More like Robb not being accurate about when he could pick up Rickard, since Jeyne’s shifts were kind of awful.)
Then the creepy mechanical spiders started attacking all down the street, and she had to pull out her phone, a toddler on her hip.
“Stark, aren’t you…” Agent Morse stopped at the sound of lasers. She was good that way, even if she was more than slightly crazy.
“At least a dozen mechanical spiders,” Arya said. “They have lasers, and one might have a machine gun turret. I could freeze that one, but I have a two year old with me.”
“The mouthiest Stark is in the city,” Bobbi said, finally. “I can probably get him, he’s good at quick. Barton, too.”
“Please,” Arya said. “My brother isn’t going to be happy.”
“Well, I don’t think they’re after you specifically,” Morse said, the sound of tapping in the background. “At least, not yet.”
“Seriously, freezing them?” Arya said. They were pretty close, but Arya didn’t think they could reach the third floor the apartment was in.
“Backup should be there within five minutes,” was Agent Morse’s non-answer.
Arya froze the one with a machine gun, causing sparks that were quickly smothered. The resulting iceball was about as big as the nearest car, and she went back to the kitchen, both for cover and because she needed aspirin.
The news didn’t know who froze the spider, and Iron Man and Hawkeye got the flashy stories, but even though it wasn’t her fault Robb had a mad scientist for a neighbor, she was pretty sure this was her last time babysitting.

Destiny and Prophecy Season 1 Episode 1 Chapter one
Summary: This is the first episode of the first season in a very long series remake. What if Castiel had met up with Sam and Dean in the first season? What if Charlie was actually Bobby's daughter? What if the angels and demons weren't the only things Sam and Dean had to deal with and what if they weren't the only ones meant to save the world? What if they had a team? These are the stories of the new Team Free Will.
Note: this is the first episode in the series. The pairings will be Castiel/Hannah, Dean/Jo, Sam/Eileen, Crowley/Meg, and Charlie/Anna/Ruby and Gabriel/Balthazar/Rowena, but they are all slow burns and they most likely won't even meet for the first few episodes and a lot of the characters won't appear in the series for a long time.
Highway One outside of San Luis Obispo, California
"I don't know about this, Dean," Sam spoke up as he gazed out the window at the scenery outside. As the impala barreled down California's coastal highway, the ocean, glistening as the sun beamed down on it, seemed to be both taunting him and beckoning him. It was reminding him of what was behind, the prospect of that normal life that he thought he had managed to finally achieve, that after two years he had begun actually to believe it was happening- had so quickly been stolen away from him by the same thing that had brought them to this life long ago.
"What, I already called Charlie, and she's eager to join in," Dean replied as he kept his eyes on the winding road, the wind flying through his hair as his arm dangled out the opened window.
"You know Bobby is going to kill us when he finds out," Sam pointed out as he thought about the ornery old drunk and how he was going to react when he found out that they had dragged his daughter out of school when she had only been there a few months. At least Sam had gotten two years. Two wonderful years of pretending he was a normal kid with a normal life.
Sam wanted to blame Dean. To think that if Dean had never shown up at his college and convinced him to go on that hunt, perhaps Yellow Eyes would have never tracked him down and Jess would still be alive. But even through his grief, he still couldn't blame his brother, after all, did he really fit in? Jess never knew the truth about him. He'd kept her in the dark about his home life, maybe if she knew would she have wanted anything to do with him in the first place?
And now they were about to pluck their cousin up from the possibility of normal life, and Sam had to wonder what they would find when they got to Los Angeles and what Charlie would have to give to join them.
Of course, Charlie had been less reluctant to leave the life of a hunter. She had gone to college at Bobby's insistence. Sam had no doubt she would be eager to join them in the search for their father.
"Dad wants us to continue in his footsteps," Dean explained. "Hunt down Yellow-eyes once and for all. And then continue in the family business. And Bobby might hate it, but Charlie is just as much a part of it as we are, she grew up in the life too."
Sam had heard the story many times. Of how Bobby's wife had become possessed by a demon, and he had been forced to kill her, and Charlie had been left without a mother when she was barely out of diapers. As Bobby was the primary contact for many hunters and maintained a network of hunters all over the continent, Charlie had no choice but to grow up in the life too. Just like Sam and Dean had.
"Look, Dean, I just want to find Yellow Eyes and take him out," Sam told his brother. "And find Dad. After that, I'm out."
"Just like that?" Sam couldn't miss the tone of accusation in Dean's voice. "I mean you ran away before, so I guess it doesn't bother you to abandon your family again."
Sam had to bite his tongue to avoid snapping back at Dean. Nothing mattered more to the elder Winchester than loyalty and family, and he saw Sam's attempt at being normal as a betrayal. How could Sam make him see?
Sam didn't respond to Dean's accusation and instead, just focused on the scenery. He leaned back as Dean cranked up the volume of his music, purposely, to drown out any response Sam might have come up with.
As the impala rounded the curve in the road, something came into view that hat Dean suddenly slamming the breaks and Sam flung forward, his head colliding hard with the dashboard as his seatbelt restrained him.
As the car screeched to a halt and Sam took a moment to recover himself, the slow trickle of blood moved into his eye from the impact with the dashboard and his head throbbed. He blinked, trying to shake out the fuzzy feeling in his mind before shoving the door opened and hurrying out to the front of the car too.
The figure lying in the middle of the road seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. As the brothers rushed over, they found a man laying on the asphalt, his beige trenchcoat shrouding his prone body as he lay on his stomach, his arms tucked underneath him.
"Is he…" Sam knelt beside the man while Dean pressed a finger to his neck. There was no response to Dean's touch, but as Sam looked, he thought he saw the rise and fall of the man's back indicating breathing.
"He's alive," Dean confirmed before gently grasping the man's shoulders and rolling him onto his back. The movement received a grunt from the man but nothing more.
"I don't think he's injured," Dean said as Sam looked over the man's pale face. "At least not from what I can see. But help me get him into the impala so we can take him to the hospital."
Sam complied and grabbed the man's legs while Dean hoisted his upper body into his arms. His head lulled against Dean's shoulders while his bright blue tie flung up in the wind. There didn't seem to be anything unusual about the man; he was dressed in a basic black business suit, his thick crop of brown hair disheveled slightly.
Sam helped Dean get the man into the back seat of the impala, and as they did that, Sam checked all of the man's pockets for any ID but came up empty-handed. "Nothing," he said. "No wallet, no phone, not even ten cents. Maybe he got robbed."
"Maybe," Dean agreed thoughtfully as they both got into the car. "Whatever the case, it's probably not our thing, so let's just get him to a hospital."
Sam knew what Dean meant by 'our thing.' He suggested that there didn't seem to be anything supernatural about this man, no case, no need to stay any longer than was needed. But something nagged at Sam's consciousness- besides the throbbing headache. He wanted to understand why this man had suddenly appeared in their lives and what his appearance meant.
Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Hastings, Nebraska
Jo rolled her eyes as she cut across the dark, barren cattle pasture back towards town. She jiggled the keys in her hands while shuffling her duffle bag full of weapons strapped across her shoulder.
Despite the police officers at the crime scene denying her access, claiming she looked too young and 'delicate' to be able to handle the scene, she had managed to close the case on the chupacabra attacks without anyone's help.
But now, as she reached the edge of the dimly lit town and headed back towards campus, she pulled out her cell phone and had to roll her eyes when she saw four missed calls and a voicemail from her mother. As she put the phone to her ear and listened to the recorded voicemail, her mother's all too predictable voice shouted warnings and demanded to know where she was.
"Joanna Beth, you had better not be out hunting!" her mother had shouted. Jo had to smirk to herself as that's precisely what she had been doing. She knew her mother didn't approve, but she was in college now, living on her own, and she could start hunting on her own. Her mother thought she would be safely enjoying dorm life at this small religious college, and that's what she was doing by day. But by night, she was the local ghostbuster. She was sneaking into haunted houses, crime scenes, and other places that warranted a paranormal investigation.
As she made it to campus and moved towards her dorm building, Jo was suddenly aware of how quiet the world was around her. No crickets chirping, no frogs croaking, it was as if the whole world had gone still. Any trained hunter knew how to listen to the animals; they always knew when something wasn't right.
Eyes darting around to every tree and bush, Jo carefully put her phone away and slipped a hand around the hilt of her knife which rested securely in her belt. As she neared her dorm building, she heard a sudden crash and the bushes around the dumpster shuttered vigorously.
"Who's there!" she demanded as she turned her attention to the dumpster just as a shadowy figure darted behind the large white dumpster. "Don't bother hiding I already saw you."
The movement stopped. After a few moments, the figure slipped out from around the dumpster and moved towards her. Jo backed up cautiously as the thing began to approach.
"I require a place to stay," the soft feminine voice sounded shaken and fragile, and as the woman stepped into the light of an overhead lamp, Jo could see why. She was completely naked, and Jo could see cuts and bruises all over her body as she shivered, the thick bangs of her dark hair shielding her eyes as she kept her gaze to the ground.
"You look like you need clothes too," Jo pointed out, a pang of sympathy as she worried about what might have happened to the woman. Quickly, she dropped her duffle bag and pulled off her dark green hunter's coat and handed it to the woman. "Did you get assaulted?"
"I escaped," the woman replied, finally lifting her gaze. Her face was caked in dried blood, and grime and Jo had to gasp a little when she saw the slice across her neck.
"Come on, let's get you cleaned up," Jo said. "My roommate is out of town, but my RA doesn't allow visitors, so you'll have to keep quiet." She grabbed her duffle bag and led the woman into her dorm building.
She lived on the fifth floor, a typical small cramped dorm room with two single beds, two desks, two dressers, a closet, and a small dorm sized fridge. The room was heavily decorated with random wall art of landscapes and portraits.
"My roommate is an art major," Jo explained as she flipped on the lights and let the woman come in before closing the door behind her.
Now, in the light, the true extent of the woman's injuries was revealed. Jo tried not to let her jaw drop in awe as she scrutinized the woman's appearance. Bruises and lacerations- some very deep- covered the woman's skin. Dried blood and grime were painted over her body, especially on her back were what looked like whip marks crisscrossed her skin. As Jo motioned for her to sit, she gazed up, and Jo got a better look at that slice across her neck.
"How are you still able to walk?" Jo wondered as she dug through her duffle bag to retrieve her first aid kit. "I'll be back I'm going to get some rags and stuff from the restroom."
It only took her a few moments to hurry downstairs to retrieve some fresh towels, water, and rags from the student restroom area before she hurried back to find the woman sitting precariously on the bed.
"I'm Jo by the way, what's your name?" Jo asked as she brought the supplies over and sat down on the bed beside her and began to clean some of the wounds.
"Hannah," the woman replied softly as she winced while Jo brushed some strands of hair back and began to clean the wound on her neck. The hunter was relieved to see that the injury was not as bad as it had looked at first glance. It had already stopped bleeding, and it wasn't very deep- but how she must have gotten it disturbed her.
"Who did this to you, Hannah?" Jo asked, a hot feeling of anger rushing over her as she thought to herself how she would make whoever did this pay for it.
"Demons," Jo raised a brow not quite comprehending what she said for a moment. But Hannah continued. "They captured me as soon as I fell… they hacked into my factory settings…"
"Excuse me?" the woman made herself sound like some sort of computer. Factory settings? "What are you a computer chip?"
"I don't understand that word," Hannah informed her. As Jo glanced at her face, noting her large blue eyes and soft features, she could tell that there seemed to be something a little off about this woman.
"I'm a hunter, I've never encountered a demon in my line of work but uh… what are you exactly?"
"I'm an angel of the lord," that response had Jo scoffing in disbelief.
"Yeah, and I'm Jack Frost," Jo mocked. Hannah looked at her, cocking her head slightly to the side like a confused bird.
"I thought your name was Jo," she replied. Jo frowned. She considered the fact that maybe Hannah was telling the truth. After all, why else did she give off the distinct aura of some lost child?
"Yeah just a joke," Jo explained as she finished cleaning and bandaging Hannah's neck and back. "So uh… an angel. I'm not sure I believe in that sort of thing, you know? Could you prove it? I mean do you have wings or harps or anything?"
"My grace was ripped away, the demons have it," Hannah explained. "I'm human now… it's disconcerting. I have these… strange feelings."
"Feelings?" Jo wasn't sure what that meant. But she finished up with the last of the wounds. With the blood and dirt cleaned off, the woman looked much less like a mugging victim. Jo got up and went to her dresser and pulled out a pair of pants and a shirt and handed them to Hannah. "What sort of feelings?"
"Well, there's a strange sensation. Here." She patted her stomach, and as she did so, her stomach rumbled angrily, and she winced in discomfort. "I don't know what it means."
"Are you hungry?" Jo guessed. "When was the last time you ate?"
"Never," Hannah replied. "I developed this feeling not long after I got to Earth."
Jo frowned. "Alright, get dressed, and I'll take you to get something to eat," she said. "And you can tell me more. It's not every day I get to rescue a damsel in distress, you know?"
"I'm not familiar with that term," Hannah replied. Jo groaned.
"Oh, boy," she muttered under her breath. This was going to be exciting. But she already felt connected to this woman somehow. That she had to help her whatever her story was. Jo wasn't someone who usually believed in things like fate, but if she did, this certainly felt like a sign. She'd grown up around hunters, and none of them had ever mentioned angels, but Jo had no reason to doubt that Hannah was who she said she was, and in any case, the woman seemed utterly lost and out of her element. She would depend on Jo to protect her, so that was precisely what Jo intended to do.
