Sleepy Boy

Jason Todd x GN Reader.

Short and fluffy.

The light from your screen is all that illuminates your room, your wrist aching from where it's been sat on the edge of your desk all day. You've got no idea what time it is or when Jay's suppose to be home.

You'll go to bed soon, just one more mission. One more and then you'll get that cut scene you've been waiting all day for.

The door creaks behind you, probably the fan. It's not that late yet. You hear another creak and then suddenly a weight is pressing down on your thigh.

"Hi sweetie," you smile, your hand gently brushing through his hair, "I was expecting you for a little while yet."

"Really?" He nuzzles in closer to your leg, "it's 4am."

"Where does the time go?" You brush some of his hair behind his ear, still not taking your eyes from the screen.

"Baby, will you put me to bed?" He ask, his voice so soft and sweet you turn to look down at him. He looks so sleepy, already having shrugged off his armor.

"Give me one second," you hit save, a little disappointed you'll have to wait for your next day off to finish this mission, but how could you ever say no to that sweet face, "Okay, sweetie," you kiss his head, pulling him up by the face, "lets get you to bed."

"Will you read me a story?"

"Sure," you hug at his side, helping his tired legs carry him to bed, "what do you wanna hear tonight?"

"The one about the Dragon and its dark knight."

"That's your favourite I think."

"Yeah," he smiles dopeily up at you, "I got a bit of a crush on the Dragon."

"The knights not so bad either," you drop down on the bed as he falls onto your chest and you wrap your arm around his shoulder, "especially when he's clingy like this."

"I'm gunna cling to you forever."

"Hope that's a promise." You kiss the top of his hair, your fingers slowly trailing down his neck, his shoudler as his breathing evens out and his cute little snores fill the room.
