Haha, who would stay up until 1 30 am because they wanted to watch starmites with their mom! Ha! You'd have to be an idiot to disrupt your sleep schedule for a silly musical! (Me, I would)
After the climate collapse of the Earth, humanity lives partially on a planet called Xalypso. The population is given a monthly budget for consumption because most of the work is done by androids. Their ruler, a power-hungry mutant, wants to colonize more planets with his military. But a political opponent hires bounty hunter Nova, who is 50 percent female cyborg after several surgeries ...
Ironically, the translation of this novella was done by an artificial intelligence.
SNOWY & STARRY -- ALIEN LANDSCAPES OF THE SUPER-SEVENTIES.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on two pieces by British sci-fi artist/illustrator, David A. Hardy, from his "Portals" series. The first piece was a commissioned painting by a HAWKWIND fan based on the original back cover sleeve art – but in a winter season, and chosen by Hardy. The second is the original 1974 LP illustration.
TOP PIECE: "The sun's light now comes from behind us, illuminating the mountain and giving the moon a phase close to full, its dark side still silhouetted against the background stars. The planet is at the edge of the globular cluster, so as we look towards the centre there are thousands of bright stars visible, but behind us the sky is dark It is 40 years later, and the trees have grown, as has the city." Atelier Acrylics, 20 x 20in (50 x 50cm).
BOTTOM: "When Hawkwind visited Hardy's home (before a gig at the Birmingham Odeon) to discuss a record cover, their manager Douglas Smith saw the original version of Hardy's globular cluster for "Challenge of the Stars," and asked if it could be used. Because it was in portrait format Hardy said he would have to repaint it, square, but that was no problem. So this became the back cover for "Hall of the Mountain Grill" (1974) – regarded by many fans as one of their best albums." (Acrylics.)
Uhhh sooooo NYC 80’s punk scene AU where ed used to play in bands when younger but not anymore & runs a popular venue and is totally burned out on the scene. Until a blonde weirdo wearing pastels started coming to shows there and he had to understand what is going on with this guy?? And the guy wants to learn more about this world and Ed confused but ends up having more fun than he has in ages??
Some of my oc's from a short story comic I have on the back burner, hoping to return to it after I finish Steel Siege. May start posting the rough pages I have here and not just on my Patreon.
I honestly forgot that i could post about my life on the internet. Anywayyyyyy I'm in a production of Starmites (1989) as Diggety RazzleDazzle. Our final starmites show is tomorrow, yall wish me luck! I'm a little sad, I wish I could do this show forever, it's very funny. If you haven't seen any production of starmites, go find one, there is one on YouTube. It's, at its worst, goofy and cheesy, and at its best, goofy, cheesy, and a drug trip.
