HWU111: aka All Quiet on the Celestial Front

This is part of my #HollywoodHacks Series (a Hollywood U/#LoveHacks crossover with Ben Park). You can read the series premise and view the masterlist here.

It has been some time since I've worked on this series. Since I figured most people forgot about it, I thought I would write a gossip news article about some of the things that have happened so far in the series as a fun version of a recap post. This "article" acts as a quick way to catch up before the last few chapters. If you haven't read the series, feel free to jump in now or catch up. This covers the "newsworthy" and public moments from the series but doesn't address anything that happened in private (i.e. all the tender moments between Hunt and Alex).

All Quiet on the Celestial Front by May Gordon

Shortly after casting herself as the lead in her own production, Alex Spencer and the crew of "Centarus Lost" have seemingly gone dark. Little is known about the production of the Thomas Hunt directed "Centaurus Lost". Sources close to the film have refused to comment on its progress (or perhaps, lack thereof?).

Since its inception, "Centaurus Lost" has been plagued with setbacks and scandals. Trouble on set led to the ousting of former lead writer Mike Tanner. This left the film with an incomplete narrative when the team decided to drop Tanner's contribution upon his exit. Instead, they opted for a rewrite that overhauled the story and conveniently put Spencer in a newly created starring role, thanks to the collaboration between rising star, Holly Chang and first-time screenwriter, Ben Parks. Following the departure of Tanner, "Centaurus Lost" also saw the loss of their lead set designer and lead makeup artist. All three former "Centaurus Lost" members were recruited by rival Bianca Stone's upcoming feature, "#QueenB" (more on her upcoming project below). "Centaurus Lost" marks the first outing as a producer for Spencer, the first entry into Hollywood's mainstream for newcomer Parks as a co-screenwriter, and the first post-retirement film for director Hunt—the once-famed and celebrated auteur. If all of that was not enough, the project also boasts the first collaboration between paramours, Spencer and Hunt. As previously reported last month, Spencer, who made headlines when her student-professor relationship with Hunt was outed, found herself in a new scandal when reports leaked that she and Parks were carrying on an affair. Rumors circulated about the potential love triangle between Hunt, Spencer, and Parks. This isn't a first for Spencer; she was previously linked with superstar Chris Winters before moving up to Hunt. Is history repeating itself? Has Spencer left the aging Hunt for the promise of a younger, more talented heartthrob? No further information has been made available at this time. All parties and their respective representation have declined to comment on the ongoing speculations. (Although, this reporter wonders if a lack of denial isn't an admission in disguise.) Over the past several weeks, the production has closed ranks and enacted a total social media blackout for all cast and crew. Little to no information has leaked. What does this mean for the film? Are they hiding a diamond in the rough or covering up a complete dud? Will their intergalactic journey reach new heights or flop into a decaying orbit? With the deadline for submission to the Hollywood Elite Festival looming, fans are curious what fate is written in the stars for this team. In related news, rumor has it that fellow Hollywood U student Bianca Stone's film will have a standout premiere at the festival. Sources allege that the Stone-produced film, "#QueenB", has all the makings of a new classic. Stone is the daughter of Hollywood's infamous Anders Stone and sister to award-winning actress, Desiree Stone. With her reputation on the line will the younger Stone take home her first gold at the festival? It is no secret that Spencer and Stone have had their fair share of public confrontations. They previously competed for the spotlight when the Stone-led "Sisterhood" went up against the Spencer-led "Permanent Wounds". The first battle unanimously went to "Permanent Wounds", which has since cemented its place in film history with its unprecedented award wins for an underdog production. As tensions between these two have only heated up since what will this next match-up hold? Will Stone emerge victorious as rumors predict, or will Spencer prove she's more than a pretty face (with exquisite taste in men)? Things are about to get interesting! “Y/N, hey wait up!” A voice shouted from behind her as she entered the cafeteria.

The girl made quick eye contact with the boy before her gaze caught her brother Bobby and his bandmates’, who were waiting for her on the far end of the lunchroom watching the two interact.

She moved her eyes back to the boy in front of her, and he met her eyes with a soft smile. Josh, she thought. A boy from her algebra class who she had been eyeing all year after the two had been paired together for a project in early Septemeber. Y/N’s left hand moved to grab her right wrist behind her back as she gazed at him, mimicking his grin.

“Josh, hi,” She said softly as she twisted awkwardly side to side.

“Hey,” He said with a slight giggle, taking a step toward her. His eyes looked up at hers with a bit of hesitance.

“I was wondering if you had plans to study for the next exam?”

His eyes dropped to the ground for a moment, fumbling with the bottom of his shirt before looking back up at her. She met his gaze with a racing heart that she masked with a wide grin.

“No, not yet,” She said just above a whisper.

His grin grew slightly for a moment before retreating as if it had captured unintentionally.

“Cool, would you, um, want to study with me?”

She opened her mouth to speak, and hand wraps around her shoulder tightly. She squints her eyes closed, knowing exactly who was now at her left side. She heard a familiar chuckle leave his lips.

“Depends, where are you taking my baby sister to study?”

Josh faltered, stuttering the next sentence out like a raging water rapid. “Uh, I mean I was just thinking that we could study at the library, and I.”

“In public,” Y/N looked up to watch her brother glare at the boy with an intensity that made her want to cave in on herself.

He smirked at Josh, exposing his teeth. “Smart boy.”

She heard footsteps behind her and sighed loudly, knowing what would come next. The next statement came from higher pitched voice came from her left side.

“And you’ll have her home at a decent time?”

Reggie. She rolled her eyes as she looked over and met the bassist’s dark eyes. He shot a quick wink at her before crossing his arms and facing the boy in front of them. Josh clasped his hands awkwardly at his waist, twiddling his thumbs as he met Reggie’s gaze.

“Yeah, of course.”

“And, you’ll make sure that ALL you do is study....right?”

She didn’t even need to turn around to know that the last voice was that of her brother’s lead singer. Luke put his hands on her shoulders, leaning his head to the side near her ear.

“He’s cuteeee, Y/N,” He muttered, sending a red hue to her cheeks.

Josh coughed awkwardly as he met Luke’s eyes.

“Of course I’ll get her home on time!” He promised, nodding in the lead singer’s direction.

Y/N knew her eyes were practically screaming out for help to anyone who walked past this chaotic scene in the entrance of the lunchroom. Everyone who entered the room avoided her gaze, so she sighed and leaned back into the discussion playing out in front of her with a hand on her hip.

“Will you boys leave these two alone?”

She exhaled, Alex to the rescue yet again. He grabbed Luke and Bobby’s shoulders and shook them a bit, then turning to give a pointed look in Reggie’s direction. His eyes moved over to Y/N for a moment, giving her a sympathetic smile before addressing his bandmates.

“Let’s let Y/N finish her conversation, and then we can all have lunch together...okay?” Emphasis hung heavy on that last word.

The boys nodded, but Bobby’s eyes never left Josh. The poor boy kept his gaze on the corner of the room as he fixed his glasses on his face to avoid the heavy staring. Luke pushed Bobby’s shoulder back, bringing the boy’s focus to his friend and nodded in the direction of the table. Bobby reciprocated the nod, leaning forward to kiss his sister’s forehead before giving the boy before her a final look.

“No funny business while I’m gone,” He warned, pointing a finger at Josh.

The smaller boy nodded quickly, and Bobby finally turned to walk back over to the table with his bandmates. As the quartet walked away, Y/N anxiously bounced on her tiptoes, bringing her eyes back up to meet his.

“So if my brother and his friends haven’t entirely scared you off....I’d love that study date,” She said, letting a small smile fall on her lips.

“Date?” Josh said in shock, rubbing the back of his neck with his arm.

Her cheeks ran warm instantly, sputtering out her next sentence in chunks.

“I mean, if that’s okay with, and I mean I guess I meant.”

Josh took a step closer to her with a wider grin, shaking his head at her panicked speech.

“It’s a date.” He said, winking in her direction before walking away.

Y/N bit down on her lower lip, trying to hid her growing smile as she turned her attention back to the waiting table of bumbling musicians. Luke, Alex and Reggie sat with their elbows on the table, chin in their hands with wide smiles. Bobby looked a bit grumpy, arms crossed at his chest but as soon as he saw his sister’s smile, he let a slight grin reach the right side of his face.

She shook her head as she walked across the room to meet them. As she sat her bag down, she eyed each boy carefully. Their smiles grew as their gazes met her narrow stare.

“Not a single word from any of you, okay? You’ve overstayed your welcome already.”

Bobby tense stare cracked and he gave his sister a wide smile, wrapping his arms around her shoulders as he squeezed her tight. Alex’s nose scrunched as he smiled and the other two boys gave each other a knowing glace before grinning at her two. Under the stress of all these stares, Y/N let her head drop into her hands and hid her face.

“She’s so cute when she’s embarassedddd,” Alex squealed and the rest of the boys landed in a fit of giggles.

1 Day of Glee Blogs: kurthummeldeservesbetter

Every time @kurthummeldeservesbetter hosts a Glee Blog Awards (and I say every time because it has happened more than once now), I want to nominate her, but she won’t let me.

Enough is enough.

Alex, you deserve an award. For all the work you’ve put in to making our little corner of the internet a better, more fun, more positive place to be. You do so much for our fandom and it just feels wrong for all of that hard work to go unrecognized, especially when you do so much to recognize the hard work other people put in.

So, we’ve decided to not let it go unrecognized.

I took a page from your book and figured that the best way to do this would be to ask other people to say things so that I have to say less things. So I reached out to everyone who received a nomination for the 25 Days of Glee Blogs, told them my idea, and asked them if they had anything they’d like to say to you. Several people told me they were thinking about doing this exact same thing, so I guess I’m just lucky that I got around to sending out the messages first. And, of course, lots of people had some lovely things to say (and show!) you! So, without further ado, let’s get on with it.

also this will prob be a mix of xmcu fic + kingsman fic bc i think i have a more or less equal number of fics written for both

The first time Charles meets Lucifer Morningstar, actual devil from hell, ruler of the underworld, fallen son of the lord above and god knows what else, it had been after Erik had been sentenced to life imprisonment in the highest security cell in the Pentagon.

- this is from a professor and a devil walk into a bar, which is kinda a crossover rarepair fic that rose out of me and mutuals on twitter discussing tom ellis and james mcavoy being roommates and kinda... devolved from there. i am proud of this one lmfnjgkj

“Are you okay, Professor?” Hank asks quietly.

Charles blinks. He supposes it’s a valid question. He’s been in a bit of a funk the past few days- scratch that actually, the past few years. He’s just lost so much- his father, and then his mother’s love, and then Raven and Erik and Sean and countless others. Building a school, gaining students he loved to teach and nurture hadn’t helped him in the slightest, and he’s as lost as he ever was, wandering the halls of a drafty mansion alone, feeling like he’s been stranded at sea even whilst surrounded by people.

- from in the belly of the beast, which again came out of me wondering what would have happened if fox had gone w their original plan and charles had been that last horseman instead of erik. this story will prob gain a sequel... sometime in the near future when im not too bogged down by current wips

The Xavier family hall of the deceased- because of course they’re weird enough to have a cemetery- is full of rows upon rows of holograms. Charles is four and gets bored of his father crying over his mother’s hologram, so he toddles over to the other rows. Unfamiliar names, all of them- Charles is young, and he doesn’t understand death. He doesn’t even know who his mother is, who’d died at childbirth and left him with a father still at a loss when it came to bringing up a kid.

- from tequila on a spaceship, the sequel to a fic that still has some people angry at me i think. this fic never did gain as much traction as the first one but im still proud of it esp since it discusses certain themes of reincarnation that ive always wanted to see explored for myself in reincarnation aus (and i only ever saw it in danveresque’s reincarnation au)

There are cork boards covering every inch of the wall. Red strings, photographs, conspiracy threads, everything. Raven takes it in, swallowing, noticing the picture in the middle.

It’s one of Charles, when he’d been in university. His final year- he'd just been done presenting his year- end project, his fringe a tumbled mess and a bright smile on his lips. Erik had taken the picture, Charles scurrying to his side once he’d been done and demanding to look at the image, his tongue poking out the corner of his mouth. He looks like how Raven had always imagined him to be.

“He wouldn’t want this,” she finally says, turning to look at Erik.

- from tequila on a beach, the first fic to the fic above. this fic is v special to me because i actually wrote this on a spiral after having a very tough visit with one of my parents in the hospital after a surgery for organ removal to prevent the onset of cancer. its simpler than my other fics yet i think more powerful because of what happens. also i think the first time i killed charles off lol (spoiler alert). also idk if ppl were aware of this but this is called tequila on a beach precisely bc charles and erik were tipsy from tequila at a frat party and then went to a beach. its the way they first met (and will continue to meet for all their next lives)

Erik doesn’t know how it all started. Maybe it was when his insane sergeant had started rambling about imaginary cities, treasures of gold and cursed incantations. Maybe it was when trickles of rumours had started pouring down about the higher ups wanting to investigate unfound territory, disregard the Egyptian government’s feelings on the matter, and put a previously unfound myth on the map for all the world to see. Or maybe, Erik thinks, it was when archaeologist Klaus Schmidt put a bullet through his mother’s head and he ended up going to America armed with dual citizenship and the sole intent of wanting to drive a coin directly between Schmidt’s eyes, joining a division of the American military focused solely on guarding archaeological digs- more importantly, in Egypt, where Schmidt’s interest had shifted.

- from courting the end of the world, another one i’m just insanely proud of! this is the first time i’ve ever attempted a multichapter movie au and it actually managed to work pretty well, i at least haven’t run out of inspiration for it yet lmfjgjg. also erik as himbo rick connell... very rent free in my head

The day after they murder Shaw and leave his house of horrors, Erik crosses the Canadian border with Charles across his back. Charles had started getting tired while they’d been walking, stumbling and nearly tripping until Erik had forced him to get on his back, ignoring Charles’ protests.

The blood’s seeping out steadily from Charles’ nose, staining his shirt and soaking it through. It’s been leaking on and off, and the effects are already obvious in the dark circles beneath Charles’ eyes. Any more, and Erik knows they’ll have to find him a doctor. He hopes the nearest town in Canada has one that would be willing to treat them.

- from a world built for two. i actually dk where the inspiration for this came from, i think i was once again on a depressive spiral and wanted to break my comfort characters into pieces and put them together again. this also deals with codependency and unhealthy coping mechanisms as a result of trauma which i showed as sweet in the fic but i would def not recommend in real life. pls if u relate to either charles or erik in this go see a therapist

The call comes in the afternoon, an hour before Charles is supposed to teach his Intro to Genetics class. Frowning, Charles abandons the game of Candy Crush he’d admittedly been playing rather badly and picks it up. “Charles sp-”

“We need you, Prof,” Kitty says desperately into the phone. “He’s been in a temper all morning, and then Alex’s reports missed out a whole subsection, so he’s fired the entire marketing team! Please, Professor, you have to come immediately!”

- from and we can be pirates. i wrote this in like 4 seconds for my friend who wanted professor charles and ceo erik and actually did not expect this to gain the attention it did... its always the fics u write in like 4 seconds lmfjggj. a sequel for this Is coming too probably at some point in the very far future

Charles Xavier can admit as he sits across from Essex, hands cuffed to the desk, that in hindsight, this had perhaps not been one of his better ideas.

He refuses to admit it as he controls Erik’s mind, preventing him from lashing out and making him close his eyes to the nightmare unfolding in front of him. He refuses to admit it as he gets shoved into the back of a black pickup truck, and the butt of a gun is smashed across his forehead hard enough to knock him out cold for a few hours. He refuses to admit it when he wakes up what appears to be hours later in a cold interrogation room, hands cuffed to the table in front of him, with a suppression collar rendering his mind dark and almost achingly silent.

- from from the land of gods (bring me home). i’ve been struggling w this fic a lot (it didnt come as easily to me as the first one did) but its getting there. also i put charles through hell in this rip sorry mister xavier

In the aftermath, both of them stand at the border of the mansion. The air feels frigid, slicing into Raven’s lungs like a thousand paper cuts. “Charles, please,” she begs, heart in her throat and voice hoarse. “He wouldn’t want you to be like this. He wouldn’t want you to do this. It’s not too late, you can come back.”

Charles gazes back, a brick wall. He hasn’t even cleaned up, still in that damnable yellow and blue suit with blood drying in the corners of his mouth, the bridge of his nose. There’s nothing in his eyes- blank, almost see through. He looks as if he’s a mere shade, a ghost lounging about where he once was. Raven knows better.

“I will raze the world to the ground,” he finally says, his voice free of any inflection, “and when I’m done, no one will be left standing. Not you, and certainly not me.”

- from where all the poets went to die, a dark fic based on what would have happened if moira had killed erik with the bullets. its the first time ive written dark charles and it was v fun if im being honest

Charles is a light sleeper. It’s a trait that stays with him- all the way from his father and the tests to taking care of his mother to Cain Marko and his fists to Cuba and then now, the dust of Washington settling over him and making the waking world lie an inch beyond his eyelids. 10k follow forever

@comfortphan suze. we have been through a LOT. we’ve had our ups and our downs (especially the downs) but i don’t feel like it would be right to do a post looking back on my time here without shouting suze out. i’m glad we’re talking just a little bit again :-)

@flymetomanchester alex! i want to talk about alex because they were the person who put me in my first real phandom group chat! i’d made tons of little group chats leading up to this, but this was the first real group that i’d been a part of that i felt a connection to. after this chat, i moved forward into a bunch of others and created a wonderful network of people i love. i’ve known alex for a year and a half now, and i’m so glad i do :)

@philester i want to shout out anush for generally being one of the kindest people i’ve met in this fandom, especially in the category of the menacing “big blog.” almost every big blogger i’ve gotten to know has been an absolute sweetheart, but before i even spoke to anush she was so kindhearted and gracious, and i believe she was probably the first “big blogger” who followed me back, which meant a lot to me as a smol 13 year old trying to shitpost. thank u anush ily <3

sad/angry grrl music suggestions from high school part 1

Also disclaimer bc like. Most of this music is either like. technically musically shitty or deals with a shit load of mental health or just flat up depressing/suicidal topics. Like seriously, lot of these bands deal or address heavy ass topics so. heads up if that is not your jam. I am progressively realizing as I get older I was wayyy more depressed in high school then I previously thought and i’m pretty sure the music helps prove that :/

MUSIC!

FLATSOUND: lofi/spokenword/ambient/instrumental music. Mitch is a blessing of gentle creativity. My top suggestions for him would be the albums sleep . Scotland, i wish you had stayed (i would die for the song i exist i exist i exist). I got into him through his spoken word piece you said okay because i was a sucker for spoken word in middle school (ngl still am :P) He has really dope collaborative projects in both photography and music, available at his site. <3

German error message: AHHHHHHHHH! I cry! every time I listen! Truly the music is just so reflective and biting in relation to my own emotions and shit, but it does it in the most gentle way possible. the music swells and swells and swells, but instead of crashing its a gentle receding of the tide, until it's a trickle. After the warmth is such a solid album especially ugh :)

Next 4 bands are all related so they all sound similar/ish and have similar themes woo.

JULIA BROWN: lofi/pop/indie. Library is such a killer song goddddd. To be close to you is my fave album but an abundance of strawberries is also vvvv good.

Starrycat: lofi/pop/indie it’s such a wonderful album just. pleasant so fricking pleasant

Teen Suicide/American Pleasure club:Lofi/emo/electronic/indie look. look - teen suicide is a hallmark of sad lofi indie music and for a good reason. they are sad as shit and good as shit. DC snuff film / Waste Yrslf is my fave teen suicide (combo of two of their albums), while i blew on a dandelion and the whole world disappeared is my fave American pleasure club. They are the same band btw idk why the name change happened.

Ricky eat acid: lofi/experimental. you get sick; you regret things is probs my fave

Salvia Plath: Lofi/experimental/electronic Melanchole. is such. a good. album

Next two bands are related

Elvis Depressedly: Lofi/experimental/electronic god do I love the weird ass stylings of Matthew Lee Cothran. Elvis Depressedly is either reaaaal weird sounding or nostalgic or sad. all good all around. Fave albums are goner (mickey yr a fuck up is gr8) Mickey’s dead (u angel u is just *heart eyes*). I haven’t had a chance to listen to the new album depressedelica but I’ve heard good things

Coma cinema: Lofi/experimental/electronic. Ditto to above basically. Fave album is posthumous release (i am a sucker for white trash vhs)

Dandelion hands: Lofi/Emo Nick Heck is hecking good. sing me something sweet to sleep to is my fave album i think. this song tho is the best

Sandy (Alex G): Folk/Indie rock/pop I found him through fan music video for sarah and fell down the rabbit hole that is his music.He has so many albums and unreleased albums and limited release albums jesu s. He’s got a knack for describing certain weird emotions in life. idk lyrically and instrumentally he just hits really good for me. Album wise I’m partial to RACE (gnaw the most)

THE WORLD IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE & I AM NO LONGER AFRAID TO DIE (TWIABP): Ugh what can't i saw about this band. their music... reaches? idk how to describe it really but its good, the lyrics are so wonderfully and prettily written, and the instrumentals just :) .They get a bit screamy heads up but like. Tastefully screamy? Harmlessness and Whenever, If Ever are tied for my fave album. Also heads up about Between Bodies - I personally like it but it’s pretty different from everything else and some people have... strong opinions on it’s worth. make your own decision and ignore them tho bc people like to be mean.

TOLD SLANT: Look it's just gentle sad music sung in an interesting way? The vocal performance of the lead singer is aggressively gentle? like idk how else to put it it is just. delicate pain on the verge of breaking. Tsunami is one of my fave all time songs ngl and the album it is from, is wonderful

ATTIC ABASEMENT: Look. Imma level with you - I found them off an 8tracks Steve/tony werewolf au mix and I have never been happier. downs the lot of them but good, good tunes. Dancing is depressing is a fucking kick ass album but give a listen to the attic abasement / Nod split - it is a collection of jams

SO YEAH!! there more downtempo/softer/depressing stuff I know I’m missing but that’s all i can think of atm :P Most if not all the bands here I think are own Spotify or youtue btw, I just listed them on bandcamp because I use it more than Spotify. I’m not claiming that any of this music is like, objectively good, most of it probs isn’t, but i love it dearly and will stand by it.

also check out David Dean Burkhart He’s made music videos for so many weird or solid bands. he’s doing mostly just music suggestions/uploads now, but those still, in general are really good as well. TheLazylazyme also is good for this. PanifisWater too.

Imma make another post later at some point about the like for uptempo/angrier stuff. 1 somewhat pretentious sounding genre down, another to go!!

RUNAWAYS SEASON 2 TEASER SHOT BY SHOT RUNDOWN

well.....shit

I’m going to assume this is the “life form” the parents were being tricked into digging for. i can’t really tell who all is getting flung backwards. i’m not sure if it’s the parents or the Runaways because only one of the parents really has any sort of power or ability to fight Jonah, but it also looks like there are way more than 6 kids present

“They’re our parents...how could they be such monsters?” yeah they pretty much suck

Yeah fuck you all (except the Yorkes’ y’all are just kind of idiots)

AND FUCK YOU MOST OF ALL GOOD SIR (that weird ashy part of his face looks similar to how his body looks when he’s weak and has not gotten a sacrifice. i.e. while he was lying in bed and the scene in the final episode with Frank when he pulls back his sleeve)

IM ABOUT TO SQUARE TF UP WITH WHOEVER MADE YOU SHED A SINGLE TEAR (please just let her be happy this season)

Why is it so hard to let them be happy? (also important to note that it looks like maybe they have not found the Hovel yet since all these shots look to be outside...it’ll be interesting to see how long it takes them. I also want to know why there are so many people sort of standing around her)

Those sort of look like tents in the background? I think they may hang out in a homeless community for a little bit RIGHT after they run away. This theory is backed up by the next screen cap-

You can clearly see the tents in the background with people in them. I think that the season will pick back up immediately after they start running in the last few seconds of season 1. They’ll chill in a homeless community until they eventually go off and find the Hostel.

All 4 of the past shots seem to be in the same lighting as well (Molly crying, Gert’s face, Nico and Karolina talking, Chase and Alex) so buckle in for an emotional Runaways talk around the fire :-)

I’m guessing the Hostel will be somewhere near the observatory up in the mountains if they don’t outright use the observatory as their base (in the comics, the Hostel was an abandoned hotel, but they could certainly take some creative liberties with this)

They’re still in the same clothes (which doesn’t tell us much because they did sort of just take off without anything) as when they raid the thrift store but thERE IT IS, THERE IS THE HOSTEL IM SO READY

Here, it looks very much like an abandoned hotel so i’m thinking they’ll pretty much keep this aspect the same

Ugh this whole plot of them finally being runaways on their own with only each other is going to be so amazing and open up so many opportunities for character relationships (if you know anything about me you know I’m beyond excited for the Chase/Molly, brother/sister dynamic that’s so prevalent in the comics)

His outfit has changed here but I have no idea what’s going on with that package? Not to be That Bitch but everything Alex does highkey makes me suspicious so...

“Nothing is more important than knowing who...what you are” KAROLINA’S ORIGINS PLOT LINE LETS GOOOO. Tbh this season seems like it’s going to be very Karolina heavy and I’m living for it

Everything about this shot is beautiful, HOWEVER the context is what’s confusing to me. Did Karolina just agree to meet up with Jonah? Did he find them? And why does she look confused as to why she’s glowing, I’ll be pissed if Jonah can somehow activate Karolina’s power on his own

At first glance, it looked like Karolina was fighting Nico, but this brief shot shows that this is not the case-

She is clearly fighting Mrs. Minoru. However, I am confused because in the screenshot before, you can see Nico holding what looks to be her staff (which she also has in the shot 10 screencaps ago, apparently AFTER they find the Hostle) but Mrs. Minoru has one of her own

OK so here we have new mystery guy that has been filming with the cast. He’s obviously a mutant (based on his eyes) and if I had to guess, this may be the character of Topher, who is in the comic and whose story-line I will not spoil for those of you that have not read

“GET DOWN” is concerning, but the next few shots look to all be from the same scene, an airport. Chase looks like he’s jumping out of a luggage trolley here

Same setting I believe, she may be coming out of the luggage trolley as well

It looks like they’re specifically trying to stop this plane

Old Lace attacking someone on a bike? You can see the Runaways right next to the hill down the road, so presumably this person was following them

I’m just confused as to where they’re going on bikes? Based on their outfits, it looks like this may be the same day they discover the Hostel (Also Alex’s scooter I’m cackling)
