Prompt:
It’s not that Jason forgot, per se.
But between smuggling a toddler out of the League of Assassins, trekking halfway across the world, and finding a suitable hiding place that’s also child friendly… well, it kind of slipped his mind that he’s supposed to be… dead.
Something that comes back to bite him in the ass when he takes Dami out for some ice cream and just so happens to run into non other than Brucie-fucking-Wayne

and angel was so proud of himself for being able to carry mr-hollow-bones husk over here
based on the hc where husk died from falling, and that's why his demon form is an ironic mix between two animals that should not be taking fall damage
so yeah he's afraid of heights and that's why he doesn't fly
aftermath:
they'll be okay

Humans are weird but Danny phantom
So Danny has been in the ghost zone for centuries ruling over all the infinet realms like the good king he is
But something happened in the DC universe that called his attention, he went in, fixed the problem and left
Well a few months later the JL summoned him trying to get an alliance with him and he accepts so now he comes to the JL meetings and just hangs out in the watchtower
But he's been ghost king so long that he forgets human customs so now there are so many moments where he just goes "hmmm humans are weird"
He and plastic man got into a stretching contest and he was confused when the other leaguers asked them to stop
He once walked into a meeting eating some rock candy and everyone freaked out, he's still confused
Wonder Woman tried the lasso of truth on him and was shocked when it had no effect
He and Dr Fate once got into a screaming match over something and everyone looked at him like a god for 2 months
He once got so annoyed with Superman that he overshadowed him and put him to sleep, he dosen't get why that's a big deal
He brings the weirdest snacks to JL meetings, flash once asked for some and he had to check if it was safe, they didn't like that
He just reaches through things, people, walls, force fields whatever; if he wants something he will get it
When he's tired he just becomes a disembodied star floating around the watchtower; people set up a bedroom for him so they don't have to see it again
On robins request he brings extinct animals to the watchtower

The GIW are actually frighteningly good at their jobs.
The problem is that Clockwork thinks making them trip and look like idiots is funny.
But he only does it for Danny.
So when the Green Lantern Corp goes to engage the corporation (apparently not a government branch wild), it's actually a very even fight.
When they debrief to the Justice League, with their newest member Phantom in the room, the guy just snorts.
"Wait, you guys actually struggled against them? Just let me handle it."
No matter who tries to convince him that the GIW actually very professional and scary and like, a threat, Phantom just shakes his head and doesn't believe them.
To be fair to Phantom-the GIW get weirdly incompetent when he enters the scene.

Your Ancient History, Written In Wax
-
Danny knew he should have put better security around the Sarcophagus of Eternal Sleep. It wasn’t even Vlad who opened it this time! The fruitloop was too busy doing his actual mayor duties because for some godforsaken reason, the man got re-elected.
No, it wasn’t Vlad. And it wasn’t Fright Knight, either. Nor the Observants. Who opened the Sarcophagus, then? Danny didn’t have time to find out as Pariah Dark promptly tore open a hole in reality and hunting Danny down.
The battle was longer this time. He didn’t have the Ecto-Skeleton, as that was the first thing Pariah had destroyed. The halfa had grown a lot over the past few years, and learned some new tricks, but apparently sleeping in a magic ghost box meant that Pariah had absorbed a lot of power. The bigger ghost acted like a one-man army!
Amity Park was caught in the middle of the battle, but the residents made sure it went no further than that. Vlad and the Fentons made a barrier around the town to keep the destruction from leaking. Sam, Tucker, and Dani did crowd control while Danny faced the king head-on.
Their battle shook the Zone and pulled them wildly between the mortal plane and the afterlife. Sometimes, residents noticed a blow from Pariah transported them to the age of the dinosaurs, and Phantom’s Wail brought them to an unknown future. Then they were in a desert. Then a blazing forest. Then underwater. It went on like that, but no one dared step foot outside of Amity. They couldn’t risk being left behind.
It took ages to beat him, but eventually, Danny stood above the old ghost king, encasing his symbols of power in ice so they couldn’t be used again. He refused to claim the title for himself. Tired as he was, Danny handed the objects off to Clockwork for safe keeping and started repairing the damage Pariah had done to the town. The tear he’d made was too big to fix, for now, so no one bothered. They just welcomed their new ghostly neighbors with open arms and worked together to restore Amity Park.
Finally, the day came to bring down the barrier. People were gathered around the giant device the Fentons had built to sustain it. Danny had brought Clockwork to Amity, to double check that they had returned to the right time and dimension.
Clockwork assured everyone that they were in the right spot, and only a small amount of time had passed, so the Fentons gave the signal to drop the shield.
Very quickly did they discover that something was wrong. The air smelled different. The noise of the nearby city, Elmerton, was louder and more chaotic. Something was there that wasn’t before, and it put everyone on edge.
Clockwork smiled, made a remark about the town fitting in better than before, and disappearing before Danny could catch him.
Frantic, Danny had a few of his ghost buds stay behind to protect the town while he investigated.
He flew far and wide, steadily growing horrified at the changes the world had undergone. Heroes, villains, rampant crime and alien invasions. The Earth was unrecognizable. There were people moving around the stars like it was second nature and others raising dead gods like the apocalypse was coming. Magic and ectoplasm was everywhere, rather than following the ley lines like they were supposed to.
Danny returned to Amity.
The fight with Pariah had taken them through space and time. Somewhere along the way, they had changed the course of history so badly that this now felt like an alien world.
How was he supposed to fix this?

In the Watchtower, The Flash was wrapping up monitor duty while Impulse buzzed around him, a little more jittery than usual. The boy was talking a mile a minute, when alarms started blaring an alarming green. Flash had never seen this alarm before, and its crackling whine was grating on his ears.
Flash returned to the monitor, frantically clicking around to find the issue, but nothing was popping up. No major disasters, no invasions, no declarations of war. Nothing! What was causing the alarm?
Impulse swore and zipped to a window, pressing his face against it and staring down at Earth. “Fuck! It’s today isn’t it? I forgot!”
“What’s today?” Flash asked. He shot off a text to Batman, asking if it was an error. The big Bat said it wasn’t, and that he would be there soon.
“The arrival of Amity Park. I learned about this in school; the alarm always gives me headaches.”
Flash turned to his grandson, getting his attention. “Bart,” he stressed. “What are you talking about?”
Impulse barely glanced over his shoulder. Now that Flash was facing him, he could see a strong glow coming from Earth. “The first villain, first anti-villain, and the first hero,” he said anxiously. “They all protect the town of the original metas. They’re all here.”
“Here? Now??”
“Yeah? They weren’t before, but they are now. The first hero said there was time stuff involved, which was what inspired me to start practicing time travel in the first place.”
“I’m not following.”
“It’s okay. We should probably go welcome them before they tear apart Illinois, though. The history I remember says that some of them freaked and destroyed a chunk of the Midwest during a fight with each other.”
“WHAT?”

After rescuing Leia from the Death Star and getting back to the Rebel base:
Rex: .....
Cody: What are you thinking about?
Rex: I'm just- there's just something really familiar about her
Cody: Who? The Princess?
Rex: Yeah! It's like- I swear at several points it feels like I'm talking to a miniature Fox
Cody: ........now that you say it-
Leia, in the distance: What are you?
Han, muffled: .....an idiot sandwich
Leia: Correct. Now stay out of my way, or I'm going to put you onto the menu!
Cody:
Rex: It's uncanny
Cody, wholly starting to believe in reincarnation: Yeah
Rex: Cody I'm scared

The fact that Leo can go literally anywhere on earth to be alone with his thoughts at a single moment’s notice is something that shakes around in my head all the time. Like, portals and teleportation are amazing and convenient abilities both in and out of battle, but they could also so easily be used to run away as well.
I don’t think Leo ever would, at least not most of the time. He loves his family too much, and is too dependent on their love and attention to cut himself off so suddenly like that, but it’s a very real possibility nonetheless.
It’s a good thing Leo’s overall temper is more on the mild side and he prefers going to his room or something to complete solitude, because it really is dangerous for a kid to have the ability to isolate themselves like that at their fingertips.

I like how in these past two entries Dracula is just There In the Background.
He's a flying bat, maybe a bird, he's that figure on the seat over there in the distance with the glowing red eyes. This is so different from how he menaced Jonathan (where he was the creepy old man that is Actively Keeping Me Prisoner yet still wants to have nightly chats) or the Demeter crew (where he understand the Nothing is Scarier trope and generally keeps out of sight till the end).
This time, he's just chillaxing in the background because we've had those two instances of different flavors of horror, and now we are thoroughly terrified of him, so just seeing him in the background is enough.
And this kind of tickles me in a weird way because I do so love when you can see the danger. It may not be actively menacing you. In fact, it may be moving away from you. Honestly, you don't even know if it has noticed you, and it's still TERRIFYING.
Like, sure, the idea that the monster is watching you and you not realizing it is scary, but sometimes you watching the monster is worse.

okay ive been digesting LPoD and thinking about the "tim forced his way into being robin" and the thing is.
he kind of did?
like yes, he didn't go in saying "I want to be robin", he didn't blackmail them to make him robin, and he said he was totally willing to not be robin if batman said no.
but at the same time. he mentions he used to fantasise about being robin, that batman and robin inspired him to study hard and work out. he jumps at the chance to put on the robin suit and go save batman and nightwing, as much as he jumps at the chance to solve the circus murder earlier. when he punches out two-face he says "I've worked out, I've practiced half my life... studied Karate... but i still didn't know if i could really hold my own." he's thought about being robin and fighting crime, and taken steps to become somebody who could do that.
and from a writer's perspective this is all flashing neon signs to say "this kid isn't jason todd" and "we are listening to your feedback and that you want robin back, here is a Perfect Robin for you" and "here's why our modern readership should suspend their disbelief and let Robin still be a character". tim is talking to the audience as much as he is the other characters.
but in-universe? he really does elbow his way into the dynamic. that's part of his charm! he's a well meaning kid who will meddle with other peoples lives to try and make them better. that's superhero behaviour!
and he very quickly goes from "dick should be robin again" to "well if there's nobody else..." it's very much like "oh does nobody else want to last slice of cake? well i guess if nobody else is going to eat it then i'll have to, so it wont go stale, definitely not for my own sake and because i really want to eat this cake"
and bruce ends up agreeing with what he said about batman and robin being symbolic, dick gives him the go-ahead, and alfred is the first person to verbally suggest tim becoming robin.
but him being pushy and kinda forcing himself into bruce and dick's life. yeah that's pretty much what happened, and him later reflecting on it as "forcing them to make him robin" would be a valid way for him, as a character, to perceive what he did.
