Tumgik
#that to me and then go on to harass two trans men and try to disprove their racial backgrounds you can do that!
Tumblr media
I wasn't about to say anything to this annoying little bitch because they're 18 but when I tell you that aro/aces in this fandom are literally trying to police people for merely being attracted to Alastor now like??? This is why I'll keep on saying that some of you (aro/aces) are insufferable as shit and need to shut the fuck up?
Tumblr media
Or how 'bout
Tumblr media
Or how 'bout if Alastor respected Vaggie and hadn't sexually harassed her by way of chin tickling and arse slapping, I wouldn't in turn look at him disrespectfully and want to give him a taste of his own touchy feely medicine?
How 'bout fans can do and feel whatever they want about Alastor cause he's not real and how 'bout everyone should stop treating fictional characters like they're real when they're not real? Including goddamn fucking Valentino...
How 'bout another reminder to stop clogging the actual queer and ace tags on tumblr that real ace people might be using to find real community and resources, with posts about a goddamn fucking ~"tumblr sexy man"~ fictional serial killer cannibal because I'm sure that real aspec people trying to look for real resources in real life are sick of all the goddamn fucking fiction by now???
How 'bout "You can write about a characters sexuality/fucking/getting fucked, but you're not allowed to explore or acknowledge any sexual attraction to them while you're writing about them being sexual and having sex, which would inherently require taking sexual attraction into consideration in order to even do that, but you're not allowed to, because that's disrespectful!" is officially the most bullshit moronic take I've ever heard...

Am I the asshole for using the only accessible restroom at the office, when I don't technically need to?
I am a trans person in my twenties who is neurologically & physically disabled. My disabilities are (mostly) invisible and I do not have any mobility aids or bulky access devices, nor do I have any toileting-related disabilities. This is relevant.
In the large office building where I work, each storey has: A women's room with no large accessible stall; a men's room with no large accessible stall; and a single-occupancy all-genders large accessible restroom.
I am visibly trans, regardless of how I dress or whether I wear a mask. I have been verbally harassed in both the women's room and the men's room, and security has been called on me once. HR told me to use the single-occupancy restroom to avoid further "conflicts." However, two of my coworkers on this floor have bulky mobility aids, so they cannot fit into the stalls of the men's room or women's room. Yesterday, one of them ("Pat") was in the lobby waiting for me to exit the single-occupancy restroom so they could use it. When Pat saw that I exited, not our other coworker with a mobility aid, they started to berate me for making them wait on someone who is not disabled. They insisted I use the women's room, and I was too upset to respond, I just walked away.
I don't want to go to HR again, who I think see me as the problem, rather than the bathroom layout being the problem. I don't want to be harassed in a gendered restroom again, but I feel terrible for making Pat wait on the only restroom they can physically access. I don't want to tell Pat and my other coworker with a mobility aid why I use that restroom, because I am afraid they will not be sympathetic to my reasons, since they cannot physically use the other restrooms and I physically can (just at significant risk of harassment and HR complaint).
I already try not to use any restroom at work, since it is causing so many problems with my coworkers. I work on an upper floor, and my badge only lets me into the floor where I work and the ground floor lobby, so I can't get to a different block of restrooms in a reasonable amount of time. My job has good benefits and is not too difficult, so quitting my job over the restroom situation feels extreme. I am trying to be considerate of all of my coworkers, but I am afraid that I am in the wrong anyway.
Would I be the asshole if I keep using the single-occupancy accessible restroom when I need to go?
I'm sorry if this sounds like bait. I am afraid of giving too much detail about where I work. If the mod wants more information I might be able to provide floor plans for my office without compromising my privacy?
What are these acronyms?

so do you nitpick and only acknowledge stuff that makes trans people look bad or are you open to screenshots showing the reality of how terfs act as well?
yes, of course! you can just send them to me :)
you'd just have to take three things into account:
the people in the screenshots have to be actual feminists. People like Posie Parker, who has said that she is not a feminist on numerous occasions, are not "TERFs"
the screenshots have to have at least some support from the community. If you look at the stuff I post, you'll see that I try to include upvotes and comments to show that this is not some fringe opinion, but is actually an opinion shared by a large part of the community. if the posts on your screenshots have one like and two views, it's not something that I'll be interested in discussing.
I'm gonna tell you upfront, I'm not gonna care if it's something like "kill all men" or "join the stats" or something. I mean I'm not in support of a targeted harassment campaign of some random man, but you'll understand that I have different standards depending on which group is making an offensive comment - the group that commits 98 percent of homicides or the group that doesn't. I'm also a white person, and I'm not going to shit my pants if a Black person says something like "white people can go die". I expect males to have the same resilience.
But well, in the end, I'll tell you that I don't nitpick. I always like to play a game where I go to the r/mtf subreddit, sort by "hot", and try to find 20 consecutive posts without some absolutely deranged shit. today I made it to the eighth post, which was:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
if you don't believe me, do it yourself lol. What I post is not a nitpick, it's the average r/mtf post lmao

most of my experience with the idea of transandrophobia or any specific hate towards trans men mostly came from a lot of the harm the “irreversible damage” book did to me as a teen and the harassment i saw a lot of transmasc youtubers go through. i don’t know if maybe i was just in a particular place on the internet where that was much more relevant but i think that rooted a lot of, idk, paranoia? in me? i’ve never compared my oppression to transmisogyny or believed that trans men were more harmed than trans women in any way, it’s always been like a next to but separate concept in my head, i suppose
So first let me say that Irreversible Damage and its ilk are HORRIBLE and the detrans TERF movement so thoroughly fucked me up. SO much. See my piece "My Dalliance with Detransition" for more on that.
I do not think that's transmisandry though. It's transphobia. And an attempt to recruit transmascs into the TERF detrans cult. They use corrective therapy tactics. (The group Health Liberation Now does a great deal to blow the whistle on this).
It's the same as ex-gay shit. That isn't misandry either. It's homophobia. I think people discount how bad homophobia and transphobia can be? People need it to be this special gendered locus of oppression these days. But those two things just really are that horrible. It's traumatic and manipulative. And they try to recruit us to use us as a cudgel against trans femmes. Doesn't mean we don't have it hard. But wanting to make us compliant footsoldiers is different from what they want of trans women, which is eradication.

RWBY is a good show, and I’m tired of people pretending its not!
I’m sorry, I’m just so tired of all these random claims that RWBY is “boring anime cliche” or “racist white male writing”, So...let’s go over them in segments
Female characters:
Aren’t walking fanservice shots and aren’t sexualized
Aren’t degraded in their field (combat, tactics, dust usage, etc) to boost up male characters (cause seemingly female characters being too skilled at something is emasculating to incels)
When a woman says no to a man, the man takes no for an answer and doesn’t keep trying. (So dear Hbomberguy, stop claiming that Weiss x Jaune was ever a thing)
Women don’t require a man to “Defend their honor” (This is in response to the dude who harassed me in anonymous about V5 who was upset that Yang punched a creep)
Aren’t woobified or emotionally weakened, instead having reactions to things like normal human beings. (Sorry Shonen anime which loves to make women woobified or emotionally weakened vs men) Being capable of emotions but also doing things effectively.
Aren’t made into waifu for male characters. Nora is still a badass and even being allowed to explore who she is outside of Ren, which runs against the usual anime/manga bs. Weiss didn’t get with Jaune after finding out he helped w/ Neptune. Blake actually defended her boundaries when Sun crossed certain lines (even though they’re brotp not romantic, he’s a male character that could’ve been put as a pseudo-love interest). Yang is also shown to be more than just Blake’s GF as we see in Ruby Yang interactions, Yang vs Salem, Yang ageeing to talk with Robyn. They’re all their own characters not trying to be the perfect wife for a male character.
LGBT+ characters:
aren’t in a world of “everyone is gay or straight”, so for me at least coming across as more impactful
have Ilia (lesbian); Coco (lesbian); Terra (wlw) and Saphron (wlw) also married and w/ kid that aren’t treated different to any other couple; Scarlet (gay-male); Nolan (implied, I think its at this point and not confirmed, mlm); May (non-deadnamed, voiced by and helped crafted with the help of a trans VA, and not having her trans status be the central element of her character trans character); Blake (bi) and Yang (wlw) that are a main pair that are being allowed to build to a relationship at the same pacing as the hetero alt. pairing. BB being naturally built up and not rushed into a relationship, though still soft-canon locked in via Nora.
Are ALL ALIVE (funny how the straight white male characters get killed off?)
PoC characters:
Includes Marrow, Pietro, Joanna, Flynt, Yatsuhashi, Lie Ren, and Robyn as default heroes side
Includes Emerald having switched to the heroes side after having it foreshadowed in v3. Also possibly Elm and Harriet, depending on where they go in the future.
includes Sienna, who was admittedly actual wasted potential, being contrasted against Adam as the morally better version of violence in activism. A controlled violence actually giving a shit rights activist leader vs. a co-opting murderous abusive bloodthirsty psychopathic terrorist.
are easily the lesser in villain count vs. Caucasian villains.
So can the RWDE please stop trying to claim how RWBY isn’t better than anime/manga at least, but overall “isn’t progressive” in these areas.
Adam Taurus represents a very real element in real life regarding “Radical civil rights movements” ; extremism and co-opters; While the actual faunus rights aspect on its own is given a sympathetic light repeatedly. We also have Ilia Amitola, the female POC lesbian, get a redemption. While Adam Taurus, the cis white male edgelord? Is Evil  and gets his death by double penetration at the hands of two lesbians. (Edit: yes, I know Blake is Bi, as is her VA. It was an expression explaining how cis white male “authority” individuals get emasculated)
The WF has a lot of references, not specifically the Black Panther one. Also the WF on its own is fine, its the version that gets corrupted by Adam’s psychotic co-opting terrorist ass that is the problem.
Reflective of reality where if any group for any cause crosses into violence that involves innocent bystanders; then they lose any credibility and are nothing more than terrorists. I don’t care what the cause is. Which is exactly what the WF under Adam presents; but is just 1 vein of it with Sienna’s vein existing, Ghira’s, and even Blake’s. Was it handled perfectly? No, you could have easily have shaved time from Adam to give to Sienna and had her live to continue. Personally I found Sienna to be the actual wasted potential, but EruptionFang naturally loves cis white male evil men as his favorite Meow Meows. Don’t even try to recommend a gay or bisexual dude to rwby critics, they’ll flip and call it pandering.
The MC’s aren’t remotely “paper thin”, nor secondaries. Heck the only ones that fit that bill are characters in the tertiary vein that are supposed to be that way. The “two traits” falls apart if one actually pays attention to the characters.
And most fixit fanfics not only sexualize the characters in a show with no fanservice...
Sadly they also overfocus on male characters and have their favorite male characters talk down the female main characters.
Robyn Hill represents the people standing up NOT against the military, but against fascism/totalitarianism. We see that for all the “good intentions” that Ironwood MAY have? It is always sabotaged by him. Ironwood backstabs Ozpin, brings an Army as a show of force, does multiple projects behind people’s backs, and yet displays more than few acts of hypocrisy. Volume 7 literally showed him acting as a dictator because he believed that only he knew the answer to everyone’s problems. Yet the consequences of HIS actions are what led to Atlas Downfall. Yang and Blake even tried to get Robyn to work with Ironwood and Robyn was literally willing to do so. Which of course pissed off Ironwood stans that anyone, especially a POC hero of the people, would stand against a Cis White Male Authority figure. The elections in V7 meant that anyone’s authority could be challenged by the people. Of COURSE Ironwood stans REFUSE to acknowledge the election part was good.
The attempt to balance idealism with realism is pretty interesting. What do you do against an enemy with an unlimited army, immortality, and agents who seek to turn everyone against each other? Do you submit to the “inevitable?” Or do you keep fighting to the end, instead prolonging the end?
You can think of this as having borrowed a theme or two from dark souls!
RWBY is at the very least leaps and bounds beyond most anime it's close in genre with. I remember seeing, partially in jest, the idea that RWBY has half the fanbase it does for being an action anime with a female case and no fanservice and I think it might almost literally be true.
It is depressingly hard to find a decent action show with a female cast that doesn't sexualize them in gross ways. Even shows I like on the whole end up doing that.
Of course, the points regarding love are helped by the fact that a good chunk of the female cast is front and center in the story. They’re largely in the driver seat and aren’t secondary to any male titular protagonist. Thus you don’t get cases where a girl on the main cast is there to be… the girl.
In any other story, Oscar and/or Jaune  would be front and center. Heck, the three creators of RWBY are guys before their team grew so you’d think they’d “write what they know.” Yet they stick to their guns on having girls get shit done.
One Anime a person I know felt came close to this was, if you can believe it, Fairy Tail where Natsu might’ve been the prominent ass kicker but Erza is the one effectively leader the team, Wendy goes on an arc of learning to love herself and Lucy grows into the wizard that leads the charge against Acnologia.
Yet it sent mixed signals with how the girls (those of age) had designs that left little to the imagination. I can appreciate an artist honest in his horniness… but the Anime did something right when it came to Erza’s torture in Tartaros that helped sell the gravitas of the traumatic experience.
RWBY feels like the above but far more refined in execution. There’s a time and place for schlocky cheesecake but not when it clashes with the narrative and themes overall.
So tell me...without using Hbomberguys’ repeated false information about the “love triangle” or “self-insert” slander...how would YOU respectfully criticize RWBY?  How would you claim to be “a critic” yet still encourage people to watch RWBY?
If you try to bring up Hbomb’s 2.5 hour hate video, then anyone who tries to claim that a video from 2 years ago no longer is relevant is just being hypocritical. (Looking at you, RWDE Apologist, you know who you are)
Oh, one more thing. RWBY seasons 1-3 were the weakest in terms of writing and animation. But even so, the fact of the matter is that anything that happened in those seasons are ignored by critics, theorists, and straight shippers.

Soman’s failed POC and Queer rep in the SGE saga — And why criticism is essential to the movie (franchise)
[repost]
Before I start though, I’d like to say that if you have any argument about forced representation, dni. I don’t give a shit that ur faves aren’t white anymore — and please stop fucking harassing Soman and the cast about this non-issue.
Now onto the racial criticism of Soman’s work, which I don’t see talked enough about.
Being a person of colour does not mean you are exempt from racial criticism. I’m sure this is known by now, but in the books, literally everyone is white. Like EVERYONE. And not only that, the beauty standards he portrays and tries to critique (but then fails miserably at unfortunately) are so Eurocentric it’s quite disheartening actually - pale skin, small noses, coloured eyes, etc. The themes are also quite Eurocentric as well — if you had told me that the books were written by a white author, I would believe you.
Now, I’ve always given him the benefit of the doubt here, considering he was writing a middle grade series as a marginalised author, which was a lot more difficult at the time, and because he does genuinely try to improve his POC rep in the later books (even if that does include retconning character’s previous descriptions lol). In that same vein, the cast is also noticeably more diverse, and I truly applaud Soman for that. However, he has not said anything in regards to the racism the cast have been getting, which considering his influence on the fandom, would have been much appreciated. (The only casting choice he actually spent some time defending was brunette Tedros 💀💀 — like mate, get your priorities together!). Also, since whiteness is quite intrinsic to the core themes of the story (I’ll make a separate post on that later), I worry that the movie will unintentionally be pushing it. And if that’s the case, people should be allowed to critique this (hypothetical) poor depiction of race, without it being considered racist. (As previously mentioned — this excludes those fucking weirdos who just hate on the cast coz their faves aren’t white anymore 🙄🙄)
Ok so, in regards to the queer-coding/queer-baiting:
Just like being a POC doesn’t mean u can’t have internalised racism, being queer doesn’t mean u can’t have internalised homophobia, especially to other members of the community. I don’t know why exactly Soman struggles with writing queer rep so much (I mean I can understand in 2013 — but now plenty of middle grade books include queer characters), but he barely has any canon gay rep.
Tristan/Yara, who is not even specified whether they are gay or trans, is one of the first characters to die, with absolutely no resolution to their arc whatsoever - and their queerness is never mentioned again. The next confirmed queer couple are two backgrounder guys who barely have any significance to the story. The couple after that are two evil white boys, who are only confirmed to be queer after they both die. They are are the only relevant gay characters at this point — yet ofc they’re dead, white and evil. This wouldn’t be a problem if there were other (good) queer characters, but since that is not the case, it just comes off as rather… icky.
Now notice how all these couples, as poorly written as they are, are all (white) gay men? There are hints that Hester and anadil might be in a relationship, but it’s never explicitly confirmed.
In addition, sophie and Agatha are explicitly queer coded — (I made a post about it on my acc for anyone’s interested) — they even kiss!! Of course people are going to be mad that they were baited into a relationship that ended up being incesteous! Especially, ESP, considering that Agatha is now a Black girl in this adaptation. We barely see any white canon wlw couples in media — Black sapphics are almost unheard of in the mainstream, especially as leads. first kill, one show that featured a Lesbian Black girl lead (a Dark-skinned one at that!)— got cancelled. And this happens all the time. Lesbians/sapphics, esp sapphics of colour, ESP Balck sapphics are barely given any time of day in our media in favour of centring gay white men in queer narratives, and thus they have every right to be upset at the queer baiting.
I’m not Black, but as a queer woman of colour, Agatha’s character has always been very special to me. I’ve always thought she should be a POC considering how different her and her mum are from the rest of her cookie-cutter village, and queer because she did not fit into conventional notions of femininity. It would be so awesome to see Agatha, a queer woman of colour, as the lead in a high-budget fantasy series. But alas, that is too many marginalised identities for the general audience.
Not only that, the twin reveal was just plain bad writing. It had absolutely no bearing at the story whatsoever and is never mentioned again. It was just done purely for shock value, and for that, I will absolutely critique Soman.
I know that this discourse is tired and worn out — and understandably so, it’s been years. However, now that this movie is approaching mainstream — At worst, this queer baiting can already add to the whole ‘lesbian relationships aren’t serious’ and other terrible stereotypes. At best, it deprives sapphics of much needed representation in mainstream fantasy films.
Remember, unlike with the books, we as fans have the power to influence the story. If the creators see how unpopular the twist is with the public, they can probably change it. We can make a difference! Btw, this doesn’t mean sophie and Agatha should be endgame — I’d like for them to be in a short term relationship and be confirmed as canonically queer — Tagatha can still be the end couple! (Not hophie tho, coz sophie is a lesbian and I despise Hort lol).

I'm so done with being calm and respectful about my anger towards those who intrude on sexual boundaries.
Every time a man makes an advance when a woman says no, or that she is a lesbian and not interested, it is an attack on her agency, on the worth of her will, and many people will just say 'its weird' and try and shrug it off, but those were precursors to some of the harassment I experienced, to unwanted physical contact by a coworker in the office I used to work in, trying to erode my boundaries and self-respect.
After I publicly transitioned to a woman when I graduated and moved to a new city for my first job, I was able to come out publicly as a lesbian after having gone through literal comphet forced relationships with men in order to get a letter from my therapist for hormones. I was happy to finally be able to say who I really was, having to just hope that everyone would be nice and accepting of my gender and sexuality since working in an office means you have to be around people you dont choose every day.
I expected my main issue to be transphobia, but I didn't understand how well I passed after just 1.5 years on hrt while closeted, and I doubly didn't expect to get the attention of my male coworkers who kept on making unwanted advances over and over despite me getting upset, disgusted, and angry at them. I told them I was a lesbian and it only increased the degree of my harassment, they wanted to wear down my self-worth and knew noone else in the office felt like standing up for me. It got to the point where I had to file HR cases against two of them. Even when I broke the woman's dress code (yes there was a dress code mandating wearing skirts and dresses, Bank of America's IT department is fucking weird) and just wore concealing jackets and facemasks (this was before the pandemic) and baggy pants they kept pestering me until I got a doctor's note to work from home.
I know some of it was definitely because I'm a trans woman too, a vulnerable target, because few of my coworkers already bothered to talk to me, and when I went to HR and other company assets for help they never took my word above others. Trans Lesbians are more at risk of sexual abuse than most people because most people don't give a fuck about us or our safety.
I just get fucking incredibly upset every time I hear people pushing lesbian's boundaries to include men because that was the precursor to some of my abuse. So anyone who thinks lesbians are 'mean' for being fucking angry and upset when people push men on us can go fuck themselves, I could literally punch every man I see in the face and it wouldn't even be a fraction of recompense for what they did to me.
Just wanted to vent this after reading about a lesbian talking about how a trans man keeps flirting with her despite her saying no and it makes me want to rip something apart
-🌻
I am so sorry about what you had to deal with. I truly hope you’re safer now.
People don’t care about women’s safety in general, so when it comes to a trans lesbian it must be much much worse.
People who try to push cis and trans men in lesbianism are probably the same ones who say transphobic shit and who don’t care about SA.

hey, so i wanted to ask - i have a friend who's transmasc and just started hrt in the last few days. he's currently having a major freakout about it, and it's making him question whether it was a good idea at all. he feels like all the dudes he knows were ecstatic about finally getting t-juice whereas he's fretting a lot. in your experience... is this normal?
yeah fretting over making any big life changes is normal! but a few days isn't enough to actually feel the HRT and no one is likely to get irreversible changes for months and months. nothing changed for me for the first month or two but acne and a more stable mood and being very hungry.
psychologically though, taking a big step towards medically transitioning to a man can really bring up all your issues with men at once. i definitely had to wrestle with the issue of like, i did not like men and wasn't particularly sure if i could stand to BE a man. but it turns out that i like the man i became! but still, i think it's pretty dang common for trans men to grow up with A LOT of trust and anger issues towards men, and those feelings just keep coming up as you transition. you have to resolve them along the way, it's just as much of a part of it as the hormones.
i would definitely suggest you refer your friend to this comic:
worst case scenario, your friend turns out to be the one trans man in the world that turns Evil and he embarks on an unrepentant quest of sexual harassment. this is very unlikely. whats totally possible is he just doesn't like being a man, and transitions into a different gender or just rolls it back to start. a small percentage of people do this! it's okay! there's no permanent state of the self. it's fine to try stuff and decide you don't like it. best case scenario, he gets over the jitters and turns into the coolest man in the world and highfives a shark every morning in front of a rainbow while surfing on lava. this is much more likely than the worst case scenario.
while it's totally valid for him to just call a halt right now, and wait until he's more confident and settled with himself to try again, i would still recommend he give himself about three months on T to see what's up. by three months he'll probably have a clearer idea on what's not working, and why, or he'll have discovered that things are actually going well.

Hot Take: "Equal Fights" Predicted Online Faketivism
Tumblr media
In some ways "Equal Fights" hasn't aged well in its effort to teach about feminism, that the execution wasn't handled as well as it could have been & that it wound up painting the feminists as straw men stereotypes. Rumor has it that even Lauren Faust, who did storyboards on the episode, isn't a fan of it in hindsight.
However this episode feels a lot more relevant to me now in our current age of online purity culture.
We live in an age of social media where young people, who had little to no power before, now have a tool at their fingertips to signal boost for those who need help the most. Teenagers can be everyday heroes in their own right. Frankly I respect you kids for being motivated in your sense of kindness & nobility.
However the problem is that unfortunately what good that can actually be done gets drowned out by a lot of harassment & bullying in the name of social justice. Especially if these young people's sources are very dubious & self-serving.
That's basically what Femme Fatale is as a character. She's a grifter who uses a progressive movement, feminism in this case, as her means for her own gain. Namely, robbing banks.
It's understandable that every super villain has a gimmick. Two-Face has the Number 2 & duality, FF could've just been a devious collector of currency with women imprinted on them. (I myself wish they would discontinue the bulky, useless penny & bring back the Sacagawea dollar.) But beyond that, she uses it as an excuse to get out of getting arrested, to claim that what she's doing is good for society at large, & above all to manipulate & influence the young & impressionable Powerpuff Girls.
The girls, being literal children, take her words to heart & implement them in ways that do more harm than good. From bullying boys in the schoolyard to letting Femme Fatale get away with her crimes.
Reminds me an awful lot of kids & young people on Tumblr & Twitter who get riled up by the words of self-proclaimed progressives who turn out to be TERFs, grifters, or members of the Leopards Eating My Face Party. Namely, the people who use progressivism & online activism to their own end.
And it's not just the Youtubers with the large subscriber base. It's also the individuals who reblog, retweet & bully even on a small scale to make themselves look good or feel like they're making a difference. Not to mention the burner & bot accounts being used to fan the flames of discord within progressive circles.
But what I find the most telling is that FF claims to be a feminist, she collects Susan B. Anthony coins, but she doesn't even know who Susan B. even was & why she was so important to American history.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reminds me an awful lot of certain gay or trans Youtubers who would try to have you believe that "queer" is a slur, when in reality we not only reclaimed it as an umbrella term to include bisexual, trans, intersex, asexual, etc. people, but is an important part of our very history.
The slogan chanted demanding our basic human rights:
"We're here, we're queer
Get used to it."
It makes me sick that there are multiple generations of people who don't understand our own history. That there are people within our community who would promote & capitalize on that ignorance.
That's who Femme Fatale is. Willingly ignorant herself, selfish, manipulative, & would promote such lack of values to the next generation for her own gain.
And that's why she deserves to serve time in prison, while online faketivist grifters deserve to lose followers, go broke, & disappear into obscurity so they can't do any more damage.

I’ve been Troubled again by the haters. an ngo anarchist again said she won’t support the abortion fund because she doesn’t like socialists. she’s been going around characterizing us as like brocialists— I can’t say that this doesn’t happen even when it’s just me a cis woman, because it happens every time, but it’s just crazy how they can get away with even trying that when it’s a trans woman (which other than me it basically is—obviously). i wouldn’t think twice about it except as you know if you’ve been following along, she organizes primarily with two men who we have accused of stalking and harassing us for years (and as you recall we’re not the only ones). she’s doing this in an organization with no democratic structure for recourse in this. she’s a paid organizer with a state ngo who has taken over a local advocacy org, she’s claiming to do this to “reform the ngo from the inside.” she’s organizing with almost exclusively men who have accusations against them. and she’s spending her time discrediting local non ngo abortionist women who have made accusations against guys she’s likes.
and i want to fight back, and i want to ruin their reputation. but (affirmations) : they don’t have a reputation. they don’t have credibility. they haven’t paid for ten peoples abortions. they aren’t building anything. nobody knows them. they’re not winning! they are not fighting for life.

Just saw a post and had to do a thing about it. Even with my own issues with my phobias that make it hard to think about certain things, I feel the need to speak my mind.
STOP 👏 PUNCHING 👏 EACH 👏 OTHER 👏 DOWN!!!
Saying that [x] had it worse than [y] and that people should be talking about [x] more and vice versa isn't helping jack shit.
Acting like transmisogyny, especially involving the harassment of infamous trans women on tumblr by staff, isn't "that bad" or "as bad" compared to something else isn't going to help anyone.
Acting like transmisandry, especially involving the murder of a two-spirit teenager which people are actively trying to blame on said teenager, isn't "that bad" or "as bad" compared to something else isn't going to help anyone.
Acting like exorsexism, especially when it involves active and violent erasure of ones identity from all sides (even transgender people, even nonbinary people) for a plethora of reasons, isn't "that bad" or "as bad" compared to something else isn't going to help anyone.
Hurting other trans people to appeal to the cis won't help.
To the people that this post applies to (mostly just me screaming angrily into the void):
Your conditional privileges are conditional.
Your lateral violence is scarring.
No buts. No whining. I want to hear none of that bullshit below my post.
You hurt your own in your own ignorance and pain, and you use that pain to justify your ignorance and your violence.
You refuse to learn because it's scary. Whether it makes you mad or uncomfortable or irritated or any of that, that comes from fear.
I'd know. I have gynephobia. I'm afraid of learning about transgender women in particular, but also women in general, because of lateral violence (done by people like you, reader.)
I used to hate other groups of people (I didn't consider it fear, but it was) and I refused to learn about them, which made it worse.
That doesn't mean I can rip on trans women for complaining about genuine issues!
That does mean you can rip on trans women or trans men or nonbinary people for complaining about genuine issues!
Your. Fears. Don't. Justify. Your. Violence.

can you do slashers x ftm! reader where the reader is being harassed/hurt for being trans? have a nice day :)
I think all trans people know how it feels to be harassed because of this. I personally like to wear/do feminine things sometimes because well I like to be androdgynus but people constantly get on my ass about it and its like "Bro calm down I'm literally just vibing" you know? I love this idea and I had to write it for you asap. Most of this stuff has also been said to me before.
Includes: Lester Sinclair, Bo Sinclair, RZ Michael Myers, and Billy Loomis
Warnings: Violence, transphobia, implied murder and murder, religous induced bigotry, censored t slur used in Bo’s and Billy’s section
Lester Sinclair
You're riding with him in his truck after the two of you picked up a woman. You and the woman were having a light conversation when she says "You have such a deep voice for a woman, and such a flat chest. If you want I can give you the number for a plastic surgeon who can help fix that." You cringe at her words.
"Well ma'am I'm man so that won't be needed. I'm fine with the way I look." She frowns.
"Oh well you know you're not actually a man honey. Just because you mutilated yourself with surgeries and hormones doesn't mean you're not a woman. I'll be praying for you." She crosses her arms and moves a bit away from you.
"I'd suggest you don't talk to my boyfriend like that ma'am." Lester says putting a hand on your thigh.
"Oh don't enable this delusion of hers. She's sick in the head because the devil has invaded her mind. I pray you two repent from your wicked ways and find god."
"Ma'am how do you know that my boyfriend isn't a man?" He asks.
"Lester it's fine just let it go." You whisper to him.
"I'm not gonna let this go darlin." He squeezes your thigh and the woman scoffs.
"It's obvious that she's not a man. I mean just look at her." She gestures to you and you look down.
"Well ma'am I can assure you that he is in fact a man and that you shouldn't keep talking this way unless you want to walk to town."
"I'd much rather walk then be in a car full of sinners." Lester turns a corner and stops at the creek that divides the road to town.
"Well you can get out then. I pray that god has mercy on your soul." He looks at the woman with disgust on her face. She scoffs and opens the door.
"I hope you two enjoy hell." She gets out with a huff and you watch as she walks off into town.
"I'm sorry bout that Y/N. Some folks have no manners."
"It's ok Lester, I'm used to it." You look over to him. He's got a look on his face you've never seen him wear before.
"Well darlin I'm not gonna let you put up with that anymore. You're my boyfriend any no one's gonna treat you like that again."
Bo Sinclair
You’re in the shop with Bo waiting for a new patch of people to come into town. He’s busy working on a car and you’re at the counter flipping through a magazine. You hear the door open and in walk two men who look to be in collage. They must be from the city based on how they look. You try to ignore them but you hear one guy whisper to the other something. The aproch the counter and one of them leans on it as you shut the magazine. “Hello fellas how can I help you today?”
“Hey there pretty lady. Our car broke down a few miles back. We need a fan belt and a ride back. Think a beautiful little woman like you can help us?” The one leaning says. You cringe at the flirting.
“Well Bo can help you with that and I’m sorry to burst your bubble but I’m not a woman.” As you say this Bo walks into the room.
“I told you she was a t-slur Trent.” The other guy whispers loud enough for you and Bo to hear.
“Whatever man she’s still got plenty of holes. Doesn’t make me gay.” You exhale deeply and Bo walks over.
“Well if y’all want help on your car I’d suggest not calling him slurs. I would normally just kick y’all out but I’m feeling nice today. What size fan belt do y’all need?” He asks putting a hand on your back.
“We need a 15 inch and sorry for uh hurting your woman’s feelings there. I was just stating the facts.” You look up at Bo and his polite smile. He’s good at masking his true feelings. But you know damn well the rage that’s almost bursting out of him.
“Well I got a shipment of those back at my house. I can grab one for y’all and dive you back.”
“Thanks man, I’m glad you’re not so up tight about that dumb t-slur shit.” He nods. You know he’s hit his breaking point.
“Well lets go up to the house then. I’ll be back darlin.” He give you a kiss on the cheek and walks out with boys and you know damn well whats gonna happen. Bo often kills quick, but this time you know he’ll draw it out. Later that night you overheard Vincent and Bo talking. “Well I’m sorry you had to do so much touch up work, they got what was coming to them.”
RZ Michael Myers
You’ve got yourself in a sticky situation. You’re cornered by a man who has been harassing you non stop once he found out about you being trans. “I told you to leave me the hell alone!” You yell trying to push past him. He shoves you back against the wall in the ally you’re in.
“I told you, you dumb bitch I don’t like people like you in my town. I gave you time to leave but your dumb cunt of a brain can’t listen.” He punches you right in the eye and you let out a scream. He hits you again on the nose, making blood leak out. “Now I want you gone by next month or else I’ll do a lot worse than this you hear me?” He grabs you by your shoulders and throws you on the ground. Your back hits the ground hard and you let out another cry of pain. “Get the fuck out of my town you dumb bitch.” He spits on your shirt and leaves. You lay there on the ground for ten more minutes, crying and racking your brain about what to do.
Once you get back home Michael is in the kitchen, sitting at the table staring off at the wall. When he sees you, the dried blood under your nose and the forming black eye he stands up. “Michael I’m fine ok? I just got in a bit of trouble with someone.” You go to the freezer and Michael just stares at you. You often can’t read what he’s trying to say because of his face being covered by a mask. But this time you can see he’s calling bullshit and he’s gonna get the truth sometime soon. You sigh and pull out an ice pack and put it on your swelling eye. “Well there’s been this guy harassing me about leaving town for a good time now and this time he got violent. I swear it’s nothing ok? I’m probably just gonna move a few towns over and I can still find ways to visit you ok?” He huffs and leaves the room. You sight and pray he doesn’t get caught. You know you can’t stop him from whatever he’s going to do.
The next morning you find Michael has changed out of his usual coveralls and latex mask and is in normal clothes and one of his hand made masks. He does this for a few reasons. Sometimes he needs to get more comfortable, you insist that you wash both of them and he watches you closely as you do it or he’s had a very messy kill and he washes his clothes on his own. You know which one it is. Your suspistion is confirmed when you watch the news that morning to find out the man who’s been harassing you was brutally killed. The news says it was so graphic it has to have been a pack of wild animals or something supernatural. Michael went so overboard on this man just because of what he did to you.
“You didn’t have to do that.” You tell him turning off the news.
‘You’re mine. No one hurts you.’
He signs. You nod and take a deep breath. He really must love you to butcher him like that.
Billy Loomis
You’re changing in the locker room after gym and you hear faint whispers behind you. There’s always talk about you and how you “don’t belong in here” and that “you’re just a girl” but you ignore it the best you can. But today it went above and beyond.
“Hey Drew isn’t there a no t-slur policy in this town?”
“Yeah there is. I heard that whenever a t-slur moves here they wind up getting their mental illness beat out of them or wind up dead. Real shame too girl t-slurs are the best in bed cause they give it up so easy.” You look over at them and bite the inside of you cheek. The snicker as you look back at your locker. A few days later when you’re getting changed again you find what you bind with is missing from you locker. You know who stole it and now you’re stuck with your chest being prominant for the rest of the day.
Billy knows something is up but when he asks about it you deny anything is wrong, not wanting him to get involved with it. But that too fails when one day while you’re out with Billy holding hands those two boys see the two of you and have to comment on it. “Hey Y/N I thought you said you’re gay.” One of them says.
“I am actually.”
“Then how come your on a date with Loomis? Last time I checked for a girl to be gay they have to date another girl.” The other boy says.
“How about you beat it.” Billy says wrapping and arm around you.
“Oh is it not our turn to fuck the t-slur? You know all of them are sluts who give it up to anyone right Billy? You deserve something better than this cheap t-slur.”
“I said beat it. I don’t wanna get violent.” He says. The boys chuckle and leave again. Later that night you call Billy to come over.
“I’m sorry honey I’ve got something I have to take care of with Stu tonight. I promise I’ll pick you up tomorrow alright?”
“Ok Billy, have fun.” But when the next day does come you find out that those two boys were found gutted and brutally beaten to death. You know it was Billy and when you ask him about it he smirks.
“ I didn’t do anything Y/N. But I mean they had it coming to them ya know?”

I just experienced the worst tabletop rpg of my life and I need to angrily vent about it because by God, how the fuck did it get that bad. Severe content warnings ahead: Sexual assault, sexual harassment, transphobia, misogyny
If you're interested in tabletop rpgs like Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder or whatever, this is how not to run a campaign.
First night out after quarantine. Sorry it ended this way. I'm going to use fake names in this story, and to provide context there is an age gap between certain groups of players. Adults in their twenties, and then older adults around the DM's age. I'm closer in age to the DM's kids. I know the younger adults from university. I don't know everyone in this group very well. Also important: many of the younger adults are transgender and know this DM through Tanya (a trans woman) who knows him through another friend in the group who knows him through a Dad's friend type situation. Important (fake)names here are Tanya's roommate Robin, Lara, and Joe. There are two other players in this group that are cis guys. Nobody in the named group is over 5'4" except Tanya.
The premise of this game is Star Wars! The party is supposed to go to a planet and find out information for a financial reward. We started the night making up our characters. Joe, Robin, and I made male characters. I made a strong, tank type character, Robin made a mechanic/medic. Lara wanted to be an Ewok. Pretty standard stuff. Joe asked about using substitute words as swear words because he is uncomfortable using mean language. Lots of silly voices and goofing off.
Then we get to the planet we need to be on. Now, I wasn't able to find information online about Dathomir that confirmed this information as canon. Even if it is, there are other planets in Star wars and the joy of storytelling is the ability to make things up or omit things. The DM explains that Dathomir is very female dominated, has nearly no males, and that any males they do have are kept for breeding. All of the NPCs described are described boob-first with emphasis on how almost naked/naked they are. The characters played by cis men are mostly just ignored. Apparently the NPCs did not think the player character with high social/charisma skills, a muscular human appearence, and great hair was attractive. I wonder why the DM targetted specific male characters over others. Hmmmmmm....
My character was consistently groped, harrassed, and targetted as was Robin's. When I expressed discomfort with this setting, I was informed that this was just the lore in the books and I needed to roll with it for a little while. Robin looks uncomfortable. He says he'll be back and leaves the room for a minute (much to the DM's annoyance). The party approaches the political figure we need to negotiate with.
The following is how the DM described the scene:
The leader was wearing a latex microbikini top with her nipples visible through the fabric and a pleated microskirt. Behind her was a large painted mural of her sprawled naked over a bed. To the left was her "pain" wall and to the right was her "humiliation" wall.
I lost my patience and told him this is clearly and obviously some porno kink scenario he's trying to get off to and I'm really not interested in this kind of roleplay with him. He told me it's all written in his books and that if I think this is a kink thing I must have a femdom fetish and am projecting it onto his character.
This is getting kinda long, so part 1/2 give me a sec

Billy Butcher beating up some transphobes that are harassing a ftm!reader hcs, pretty please 🥺!! I recently went shopping in the men’s section and there were some assholes loudly making rude comments about me and I wish I had someone with me to scare them away.
Billy Butcher x Trans!Male!Reader | Headcanons
Hey there! I'm so sorry this happened to you, I wish you had had someone like him with you as well. :/ Now, thanks for the request, I really hope you like these and they can help you find some comfort. <3
notes; Trans!Male!Reader; Transphobia; Non-Graphic Violence; Protection; Hurt/Comfort.
Since you need some new clothes, Billy and you go shopping together. It can never hurt for him to get another shirt or two, while he's already there, too.
While you are looking for some neat shirts in the men's section, a group of men starts making comments about you, rudely pointing out that you don't belong there; even though you do.
They call you names and start to openly harass you. Billy is quick to stop them before they could go on, though. He taps the main guy on his shoulder for him to turn around to face Billy and asks what the fuck he thinks he's doing there.
The man sneers at him and wants to say something distasteful, but before he can do that, Billy punches him in the jaw. The other men try to overpower Billy, but he's not having any of it and fights them all off. They underestimate him.
You merely stand there in shock and awe. You hadn't really expected Billy to beat them up for you, to protect you like this. But he does and he just keeps going, until those nasty men scramble up and run away, muttering something about Billy.
Once they're gone, Billy approaches you and asks if you're okay. You're too shocked to really answer him and merely nod your head. You're certainly okay now that they're gone, while also knowing that Billy definitely has your back. There's no doubt.
He puts his arm around your shoulders and steers you back to some shirts he saw and thought you might like, planting a short kiss on your temple.

A long time ago, I had this thought in my head: the cisphobia of the mid-2010s was damaging to trans people. I think quite a few people nowadays would agree, but back then, it was a contentious view to hold, and I expressed it poorly.
I believe my exact words were, "When you think about it, cisphobia is a form of transphobia," or something along those lines. I attempted to follow this insane opener up with a coherent explanation, but even if I had succeeded, it didn't matter. The opener was such a "frigid" and "crazy" take that it was destined to be screenshotted and shared around without context.
What I was trying to get at then was that many trans people aspire to pass as cisgender (go stealth) or wish they were cis due to dysphoria, and cisphobia ended up harming us more than it ever could have possibly helped. I remember feeling like a freak during that period of tumblr history specifically because I often wished that I'd been born cis or that I could transition to become indistinguishable from cis men.
(I'm seeing a lot of that same sentiment returning, except they aren't calling it "cisphobia" now. Now it's "assimilationism" and "bootlicking", two words I think we need to put on a high shelf until people learn what they actually mean.)
I try not to reblog screenshots that have obviously been cropped, not even if I find them funny. That incident was an eye-opener for me. I was a trans person grappling with a lot of complicated emotions, and rather than trying to understand my perspective, other trans folk chose to mock and belittle it.
Unfortunately, I still see trans folk choosing lateral aggression and bullying over unity and compassion every single day. It breaks my heart that even in our darkest hour, when the rights we fought, bled, and died for are being stripped from us, we would rather harass other trans people over the Internet than band together.
