25/11/2023-Walk from Whitefield Moor in the New Forest
Pictures taken in this set: 1 and 10. The brilliant moon which it was special to see rise out in the open landscape here and Jupiter which is visible beside it tonight which was fascinating to see a mysterious shape in the sky before we knew what it was. 2. Gorse which looked stunning in the sun in flower there is a fair bit of it around currently. 3. One of two Carrion Crows it was great to see well at the car park. 4, 5 and 9. Wonderful views on the walk, it was brilliant to take in lovely views of the pines, other trees including birch, high gorse bushes, heathland, bog, moonlit towards the end puddles and reedbed caressed by the exquisite November sun today on a smashing walk. 6. A jolly Robin immersed in a hawthorn bush where the crow was above and a Song Thrush was in too. 7. The standout bird species today, a dashing Fieldfare I enjoyed getting a top view of and we saw loads of these today flying over and it was amazing to hear their gushing calls from the trees beside us at one point in the walk. An exceptional experience taking in these phenomenal birds. 8. An eyecatching Redwing in the sun a key bird to see today as well in a thrush fest with possibly a Mistle Thrush seen too.
Another immersive and powerful experience on the walk was as we walked back to the car at dusk a raucous yet tranquil large group of Jackdaws and Rooks calling and flying over as they went to roost. Goldcrest, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, handsome Stonechat, cheery Meadow Pipit, a sunlit Woodpigeon, Jay and a Sparrowhawk flying over mobbed by the thrushes were other key birds seen on the walk. It was brilliant to see a few Fallow Deers with females and a stag, always an evocative sight of the landscape often seen on this walk and we got intimate views of New Forest Ponies seeing Grey Squirrel too. Holly berries were a great sight too. A special time out on a sunny, elegant and spectacular late autumn/early winter day of wild wonder.

my favorite thing about humans is how more often than not if you ask someone their favorite flower they will also tell you the reason, which more often than not is because it was their mothers favorite flower, or their grandmother planted them every spring in her garden, or their father would bring bouquets home of them each week to dress the dinner table… how lovely that we all cherish our families with similar floral memories

do you prefer fast plots, pre-enstablished relationships or slow burns?
SHIPPING QUESTIONS FOR THE MUN - SFW EDITION!
Personally, I do prefer slow-burns over other types of ships. It feels nice to make those connections yourself compared to just instantly placing them in a certain scenario without the development beforehand. Of course, this is situational, as I also love forced marriage types of plots as well.
I can go either way, but slow burns where the relationship is slowly built up feels more fulfilling to me. There some occasions where it feel more fun to do something that's pre-established, but slow burns get a better build up to what both sides want. It makes it so that an actual relationship forms.

23/02/2024-Home and walks at Lakeside
Photos taken in this set are of; a Lesser Black-backed Gull I was thrilled to see on the roof out the back with its yellow legs kissed by the afternoon sunlight, views, blossom and the many intricate and spectacular sky scenes I enjoyed seeing today at Lakeside and home, one of two Roe Deers I had magical moments watching as did others on a blissful evening walk after work, Mallard, Great Crested it was nice to see another pair on a nest again today and Tufted Duck a key bird of late. Hearing the melodious song and seeing well a Song Thrush this evening, many great views of Blackbirds at Lakeside and exciting views of a Jay were other highlights today. Also standing out were House Sparrows seen well at Lakeside, Long-tailed Tit, Carrion Crow, Blue Tit, Green Woodpecker heard very well, a butterfly seen quickly I couldn't quite tell which species probably either Peacock or Red Admiral, loads of daffodils, forsythia on the hedge out the front and a mini spider at home this evening.
