Not my phots but pleases observe this magical sweet cinnamon roll
I mean the first one we have the ultimate fanboy with his first round of Pop Funkos, and if I’m not mistaken he’s wearing avocado socks in the second
His smile could end wars. 💓

just saying jason todd probably wrote batman fanfic as both a form of therapy and karma
my evidence:
- he's a lit nerd. every lit nerd has written fanfiction at somepoint. if you're a lit nerd and you haven't, you're a liar or you will be writing fanfiction soon. be ready.
- you're a liar if you think the batfam didn't have a giant fandom in gotham city (and other cities that had batman shipped with their hero (metropolis im looking at you))
- he'd get to tear the shit out of batman with well thought out arguments against stuff without actually having to try and make bruce listen
- the authors notes.
- 'sorry i haven't updated in two years, i got blown up resurrected and turned into an assassin by my step-mum. here's some fluff as an apology'
- i feel like i could go on for a while but I'll leave it there

Behind the Scenes of Day of the Doctor (Part 12)
Excerpt from this BBC Media Centre interview with David Tennant:
Do you still watch Doctor Who?
Of course, I watch it every time it’s on, along with the rest of the nation.
How did you find filming in 3D compared to 2D?
Our job as actors remains the same really, but you’re aware that there’s a whole extra layer of technical stuff that has to be dealt with and the cameras are bigger. We shot a lot on this hand held camera, which was quite trying for Joe, our intrepid camera operator, who has this enormous thing that he has to lug around and navigate around the set; he did it brilliantly. But it causes some headaches for the camera teams and for the post production side of making it. We’re not doing too much novelty weaving into the lens for the 3D effect, but it gives it an extra zing.
Where will you be watching the episode?
Wherever I am in the world and whatever I’m doing, I’m sure I will make time for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special.
During filming did you ever have a pinch yourself moments thinking, ‘God, I’m back’ or anything like that?
I think the thing with filming Doctor Who is that there is so much excitement around it and there’s so much enthusiasm for it that often the lead up to getting here is more of a delight than shooting it.
Because once you’re on set there’s a script and there’s lines and you’ve got to get the scene shot and they are the pressures that filming always has. Really, you’re just trying to film the scenes the best you possibly can, so you sort of put aside the idea that you’re making something that is a moment in television history. The pressure of that would sort of paralyse you really.

ANIME vs MANGA: GOHAN'S ULTIMATE FORM
This one is gonna be a bit different than my other anime vs manga posts. This time I will discuss the original DB manga, DBGT, DBS anime, & DBS manga. And I will show how the DBS manga has made unnecessary changes to what Toriyama originally wrote and now Toyotaro has to make corrections. (Seems like there's more proof that Toriyama doesn't work closely with Toyotaro as ppl often said/say. 🤔)
TORIYAMA'S ORIGINAL WORK:
In the original manga, Potential Unleashed is a state that Gohan has to tap into as if it was a transformation. GT does not follow what was written in the original manga, nor does the DBS manga.
DRAGON BALL GT:
GT Gohan diverts from how Potential Unleashed was in the original manga. We never see GT Gohan go into his Potential Unleashed form. He was written to always be utilizing his potential unleashed power in every form & he could stack SSJ on top of said power.
The Dragon Ball Super Card Game also inaccurately made a card that stated Gohan could stack SSJ on top of his Ultimate State. But, as we know, games are often a source for inaccurate information.
DBS MANGA CONTINUITY:
Being a big fan of DBGT, Toyotaro wrote his version of DBS Gohan to be like how Gohan was written in GT. DBS manga Gohan does not activate his Ultimate form prior to the Super Hero Saga. Rather, Toyo wrote for Gohan to always in some sort of ultimate state. So, the DBS manga condradicted Toriyama's original work.
I know some say that VIZ mistranslated this, but...
JAPANESE: オレはサイヤ人としてではなく1人の人間として進化する道を選んだ. 自分がサイヤ人であることに頼ったりしない
ENGLISH: I chose to evolve as a human, not as a Saiyan. I will not rely on being a Saiyan.
Also... Gohan has always relied on his Saiyan blood to get him stronger. Zenkai Boosts anyone? Saiyan blood is part of his genetics. What a dumb line. 😑
DBS ANIME CONTINUITY:
When Toyotaro writes for Gohan to say that he has no need to turn Super Saiyan & will keep evolving as a human in Chapter 39... Toyo took that from a scene from DBS EP 90 where Gohan says he doesn't need to turn SSJ & will find an ultimate form a different way than Goku has found (Goku's way being through mixing god forms with SSJ transformations). But, Toyo bastardized it to the point it makes zero sense.
The DBS anime has consistently followed how Toriyama originally wrote for the Potential Unleashed state to function. Gohan has his base form, Super Saiyan forms, & his Potential Unleashed state that he can activate as well.
CONCLUSION:
The DBS anime continuity & the anime film DBS: Super Hero were already following the original manga. But, Toyotaro (the GT fanboy) had went with one of the many innacurate ideas from the GT continuity and now he has to correct that huge inconsistency to make the DBS manga line up with the original manga. This means that now...
DBS manga Gohan IS NOT always in a potential unleashed state anymore. That has been correctly retconned. And DBS manga Gohan DOES NOT stack SSJ on top of his potential unleashed power like GT Gohan.
DBS manga Gohan NOW turns SSJ instead of saying he doesn't he doesn't need to turn SSJ anymore.
DBS manga Gohan NOW has to activate his Potential Unleashed state similar to a transformation.
This is now another one of the many unnecessary retcons from Toyotaro that had to be corrected.
Which did it better? It's obviously the DBS anime continuity because it actually followed Toriyama's original work.

I found this story on the Bela Lugosi blog, about a young fan (Arthur Lennig, who later wrote the book The Count about Bela Lugosi, the interview is actually for that book - Lillian and Bela Lugosi Jr are included too).
I was 15, I met Mrs. Lugosi and I met Bela, first backstage, when he was doing Dracula in summer stock, then on later in Arsenic & Old Lace. And I told them that I had this shrine in my cellar of my house, and I had always worshiped him. And he was just as pleasant off-screen as he was unpleasant onscreen. So, I was delighted about that. He said “I’d like to see what you have at home.” And so, he made Mrs. Lugosi drive. The great Bela could invent all kinds of things as a mad scientist, but he couldn’t drive a car. And so they drove about eight or nine miles back to my house. And he came in and—there was my mother—and said “Hello, mother,” and he shook her hand. And we went down the cellar, and I had all my photos on the wall. He was kind of proud of me, and patted me on the back, and we had our photos taken. Mrs. Lugosi took the two of us together, and I took them together. And it’s in my book, I have those pictures.
