I have a fear of religon, specifically Christanity. Like it is overwhelming at times and I sometimes wonder if there is something I can do to heal. I have had panic attacks from street preachers, when my family visits I hide during prayers, and I'm fairly certain if I were to go into a church I would simply evaporate. I named myself after someone who loved Jesus and was asked to betray him with a kiss in the gospel of Judus. I wasn't always like this, I was ok with religon. I would defend it during the edgy atheist era. Now I can't even walk by a church without someone being with me to hold my hand. I want to heal. I want to go back to when God ment love and acceptance. I cried once thinking about all of God's love and now I cry when I know a Christian's hate. Any advice would be appreciated from other queer people. Under no circumstances are people allowed to try and convert me. If anyone mentions there church I will never step foot in it.

So this kinda a PJO person? But she's a general Greek mythology OC!

After Poseidon... had his way with Medusa, and she was turned into a gorgon by Athena—Months later, she had his baby... a demigoddess.

Of course, the baby turned to stone the second they opened their eyes and looked at Medusa.

The baby was left in stone, and for years... many years she was preserved in stone, years until back in the early 2010s, an older couple found her.

They thought the statue looked so... interesting. And took it home.

And for whatever reason, that's when the curse finally broke. And the baby was alive again.

Both the couple could see through the mist. And yet they just found her so endearing, it was weird that she didn't turn them to stone...

So, they raised her.

She took on their last name, Stone. And they decided to call her Vera. She went to school, she was shy and soft spoken—Just a kid.

As years when by, each snake on her head also seemed to have a bit of personality. Vera named each one after the planets, then one Sun, one Star, and one Moon. A head of twelve snakes.

She loved her parents—Though they tended to call themselves her grandparents instead.

As she got older... mistakes happened. She didn't know she could... turn others to stone... until it was too late.

The first time it happened, a dog came our and lunged at her! She got spooked, and as she flinched and looked at it—Stone...

The second time it happened, is when she had to leave for camp... She hadn't meaned to... but, her parents—Her mom accidentally scared her and bam she was stone! And the second she looked at he dad, he met the same fate...

She needs to learn how to undo it...

ABILITIES:

Can turn others to stone. (Only works if she's startled/scared)

Can breathe under water, as can her snakes.

Has very limited hydrokinesis. (<- can move water, but definitely not a lot.)

Immune to nearly all venoms, toxins, posions.

Can bite and inject venom. As can her snake hair.

Can talk to reptiles, specifically snakes.

DOWNSIDES:

Can't undo stone.

Can't control who turns to stone if she's startled/looks at them.

Mirrors shatter if she looks at them.

Snakes have a complete mind of their own, and do what they want when they want too.

Cold weather slows her down a lot. Too cold makes her go unconscious.

Can't eat anything snakes can't.

INFO:

Inherited her mother's beauty.

Tear markings are permanent on her skin.

Terrified of Greek gods.

Dislikes Athena and Poseidon.

Has Theophobia, Eisoptrophobia, Androphobia, Aichmophobia, and Emetophobia.

The snakes on her head are blue-lipped sea krait.

Has severe anxiety.

Self conscious about her weight.

Very fidgety.

Autistic/ADHD/Dyslexia/Dyscalculia/Dysgraphia/Epileptic.

Full name is Vera Medousa Stone.

Put of Flight/Fight/Freeze/Fawn. Her scared reaction is Freeze.

Has a good relationship with Medusa.

Anddd, there she is! She/Her. Uabeled gender/oriantation.

Mercury. - Likes talking/hissing... a lot. Fairly friendly.

Venus. - Very friendly, bites a lot like a venus fly trap, but doesn't enject venom (it's her way of showing affection)

Earth. - Glutton, likes eating.

Mars. - The most aggressive, WILL bite (NOT FRIENDLY NOM NOMS!)

Jupiter. - Kinda flirty, he flirts with other snakes.

Saturn. - Confused, and very confuzzeled they will be.

Uranus. - Jokester.

Neptune. - Jerk.

Pluto. - The smallest snake, right behind Vera's ear, he's very quiet.

Sun. - Sassy, doesn't bite, gossips, thinks he's the bestest snake ever.

Star. - DERPY.

Moon. - So done with Sun's stuff, she's much closer with Vera.

Vera is uh, VERY ashamed of who her godly parent is, Poseidon. Poor thing.

Its Canon shes been mistaken for a monster 7 times. (<- just put that there so I'll remember it.)

well, thank you! i:d like to be a novelist (or just spend way more time writing than i do) -- i struggle greatly with focusing / not working wholly off impulse; i write fairly often, i just never finish anything! start writing some big project, get bored, write something else (makes me feel like i:d benefit from stimulants for focusing, or: some drug that:d make me not count words in sentences, or number of sentences, or punctuation, or reoccuring themes); hoping i can finish my RO fanfiction though :-))

I'm feeling way too tired to draw anything. Have some headcanons to stay fed <3

I like to think that pepperman and Vigilante have a mutual fear of eachother. Pepperman doesn't know Vigilante is afraid of him, because Vigilante keeps his opinions on a majority of the people he knows a secret (so as to keep the mysterious theme.) But Vigilante is aware of the effect he has on pepperman, or atleast somewhat. He knows he makes pepperman uneasy, but that's about it. Vigilante is mainly fearful of pepperman because of his ability to bring himself to actually attack others without batting an eye. No hesitation needed, he shows a sense of fearlessness, whether he's brave or stupid, Vigilante hasn't figured out yet.

Noise, despite being a Mexican, almost daily makes the most racist jokes he can. Out of all of the people to get offended by them, Vigilante is the one who gets the most upset about them, you'd expect it to be peppino but peppino doesn't even listen to a word he says (he's too annoying to listen to.)

Noisette used to be really similar to peppino but had her amygdala removed due to it causing her problems, so she is mentally unbothered by most things. She brings up how she had a Amygdalotomy normally as if it's just a small detail about her life.

Adopted headcanon technically but noise doesn't feel any romantic feelings for noisette, she knows but doesn't really mind. She wants him to tell her though, and wont leave him unless he tells her. He thinks she'd overreact about it, so he doesn't tell her. If anyone were to make noise tell her it'd probably be Vigilante (he feels the need to help everyone he cares about with situations, no matter how personal.)

Pepperman feels like everything needs to have a specific reason behind it. He doesn't believe in thoughtless actions. He would try to decipher the moral reasons why a person would pronounce a word in a specific way. This is one of the reasons Vigilante is uncomfortable around him, because Vigilante delicately thinks all of his actions out morally. Pepperman usually figures out his exact thought process for thw smallest actions, like putting a fallen book back on a shelf.

Peppino is actually an atheist, but he follows a majority of religious beliefs. It isn't out of respect, but fear. He doesn't want to be treated like a sinner by any religion, because if any of them are right, he could be punished. He has Theophobia, basically.

Vigilante is a Satanist. no he does not believe in the actual Satan, he believes in the idea of freedom of belief and being your own God. Gustavo also has similar beliefs, except he personally does believe in Satan. No, neither of them sacrifice baby lambs in the name of Satan, that's not something Satanists do, according to my research.

Pizzahead, similarly to noisette, had an Amygdalotomy. But he did it himself so he lost a majority of his brain. Don't ask how he's alive, he doesn't know.
