Haihaiaihaihi!!!! I reallllllllllllly like ur Angry Yan x comfort reader drabbles!!! I'm someone you'd call an absolute night owl, and maybe even someone with a big mouth. I'm always up for saying what I liek and fighting people I think are dumb. (Verbally. Most of the time.)

At night, (if the day hasn't beat my ass) I'm an insane lunatic who rambles to herself. think of me like a cat. very judgy one. (but if the day has beat my ass and I'm crying on the floor i'm just going to sleep in my tears) (jk no tears cowgirls don't cry/j)

❥ Angry ! Yandere who cannot help but be in awe of you as he listens to your extensive ramblings of your topic of choice, the two of you have all the time in the world after all!

❥ Angry ! Yandere who was initially worried your talkative nature would be replaced with a shell of yourself when he first took you as his, but very quickly - as soon as you woke up, actually - that that would not be the case and found himself thrilled to hear your defiant words (he would soon teach you, but this was a great first step in your adjustment!)

Yandere who cannot find it within him to be made angry by your words, (almost) no matter what you say - at least towards you, other people on the other hand are an entirely different story - even with your extreme lack of filter, which makes him more lenient with you than he would in other areas (making back-talk your only real way to be defiant). Although this can change at the drop of a hat if his mood is already rough, that forgiving attitude being nowhere to be seen even with that usually tolerance.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who immensely enjoys not needing to punish you - it makes him proud that the two of you have come so far since he first brought you here - his moods are made even better by your chatterbox personality which supplies him a near-continuous source of peace, basking in it.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who takes great pleasure in the sound of your voice, especially when he’s falling asleep while you stay up for hours, long into the night. Your babble like white noise or pleasant rain sounds for him (and only him) to fall asleep to.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who doesn’t mind if you stay up late playing video games or working on a hobby - as long as you can sit on the bed with him whilst doing so as to let him sleep on or near you.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who minds immensely if you are the type to get up and move around a lot, needing to be up and moving not only takes the sounds of your voice move farther away from his ears but it stops him from being able to loop his arms around your waist or rest his head against you - this will only end in you being tied up and unable to leave him, which may be uncomfortable but he’s too busy cuddling you to sleep to notice.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who will put his foot down if he feels your staying up late is having negative effects. He’ll disallow caffeinated drinks and tie you to the bed at night but if you’re still unable to sleep then he’ll go straight to the sleeping pills to solve this issue, having zero patience to try any more methods which he feels will be unhelpful.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who loves the nights all energy escapes you (naturally, without the pills) and you are left practically passed out wherever you had decided to sit that evening, leaving you very pliable for cuddling without the rope or bindings in the way.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who feels pity for his Darling when the struggles of the day come crashing down a little too harshly, leaving you teary and unwelcome to the idea of moving from your chosen spot on the basement floor.

❥ Angry ! Yandere who either just scoops you up from the floor, depositing you on the bed and joining you for a cuddle-fest or joins you on the floor with some blankets and pillows, ready to get comfy where you are. He hopes to provide an ounce of the comfort you provide him by the hour just from being in your near-presence...

What if I reworked the Miraculous Powers jk... unless

So I feel like a common criticism of Miraculous Ladybug is that the Miraculous are kind of underwhelming: The Lore says that the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous are equal in power, but the Ladybug miraculous has like a gazillion different powers (Lucky Charm, Purification, Miraculous Ladybug, and now miracle charms) while the Cat Miraculous has the one power. Likewise, the lore says that the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous are the strongest, but the both of them are just above average compared to literal Time Travel!

So building off the other two posts that reworked the Miraculous Ladybug power system (ill try to link them in the comments of this post so Tumblr dosen't hide this) I will now do what the title of this post says!

Yin & Yang miraculous: 7 powers (strongest miraculous go brr)

Wu Xing miraculous: 2 powers

Zodiac miraculous: don't exist lol (I don't like them. If I did keep them, then I think they should still just be one power. And the rabbit miraculous should have a different power)

Ladybug Miraculous of Creation Yang

Creation: Lucky Charm (same old)

Ladybug: Smell, Agility (all of the miraculous explicitly get passive animal powers now. Ladybug has a good sense of smell that she can use to identify objects and super agility to dodge attacks)

Transformation: Purify (It's the same thing as before, but now it works on all of the miraculous powers and not just the Butterfly/Peacock. Because the Ladybug miraculous is one of two strongest miraculous and it makes more sense for it to counter everything and not just two things)

Animation: Miraculous Ladybugs (Just going to point out that I changed the Peacock attribute from emotion to animation. I don't get how the life generator is Emotion outside of the fact that living things have feelings, in which case it could also be called the miraculous of Respiration cuz everything breaths right? Back on track, the Ladybugs work on everything now like Purify)

Protection: Miracle Charm (I really like how well this fits! And again, it works for all negative miraculous powers and not just two)

Illusion: Looking Glass (I am proud of that name. This power summons eyewear that lets the user see the truth. That truth could be anything from seeing through illusions or seeing through lies. Bout to end Lila's whole career)

Domination: Obedience (I kinda struggled to come up with a power this time. So, Obedience allows Ladybug to force someone to obey a rule or a group of related rules like the law of the land. The obvious use is to passify criminals, but it's also kinda brain washing. Marinette would be tempted to use this power on Chloe and Lila, but resolve herself to only use it on villains. Also it's broken so maybe using it drains all of Ladybug's energy)

Black Cat Miraculous of Destruction Yin

Destruction: Cataclysm (same old)

Black Cat: Hearing, Vibrosense, Night Vision, Speed, Agility (remember when Chat had Night vision in season 1? Anyway, Chat has a lot of sensor powers and speed to make him good at fighting and tracking down akumas, in contrast to Ladybug's defense orientation. Btw, Vibrosense is the thing Cats do when they sense vibrations in the air. Remember it because almost everyone has it lol)

Transformation: Corruption (I like to think Chat is villain coded [affectionate] so I gave him a lot of evil powers. Corruption is the same thing as Akumas, buy Chat can't control what they turn into or control the person. This makes this a high risk high reward power where Chat either turns a villain into something harmless like a dog or into godzilla)

Animation: Catastrophe (I stuggled to come up with something again. So this is like a reverse of Ladybug's Miraculous Ladybugs where, instead of restoring everything, Catastrophe blows up everything. Another high risk high reward power, its useful against villains that change the environment and terrible to use otherwise)

Protection: Charm Breaker (It breaks charms. It also breaks the magic hax that akuma villains use, so Chat could use this to break brain washing and the like. If Chats not going to be integral to curing akumas, he could at least be good for fighting them)

Illusion: Cheshire Cat (I stole this name from the other posts. So my version of this power lets Chat disguise himself as literaly anyone which gives him something to do outside of fighting. Now Chat can go espionage yay!)

Domination: Disobedience (While Marinette's Domination power is her only offensive one, Chat's Domination power is his only supportive one. Disobedience allows Chat to break magically forced obedience: so it works on Ladybugs stuff and Amoks.)

Butterfly Miraculous of Transformation

Transformation: Tenshi/Akuma (same old, now with clarification on what a good akuma is called)

Butterfly: Mind Sense, Flight (Butterflies aren't psychic but who cares. Mind sense alllows the user to sense people's active brains which includes emotions and some of their thoughts. He can also fly with wings now because I said so)

Peacock Miraculous of EmotionAnimation

Animation: Amok (same old)

Peacock: Sight, Hearing, Vibrosense, gliding (apparently, peacocks can sense vibrations using their feather crests. I really didn't know that before I started searching. Also, no flying, just falling with style)

Turtle Miraculous of Protection

Protection: Shell-ter

Turtle: Water Vibrosense, Strength, Endurance, Speed Swimming, Holding breath underwater (Did you catch that it's good underwater yet? The miraculous power ups still exist, the Turtle just makes those redundant now. Also, I tried to give Carapace some more tank abilities to make up for him being the least mobile hero. He can't jump over buildings, but getting punched by him is the same thing as being hit by a truck)

Fox Miraculous of Illusion

Illusion: Mirage

Fox: Hearing, Smell, Vibrosense, Night Vision, Speed, Agility (I really like how Rena Rouge is less of a fighter and more of a mezzer/trickster in the show, so I tried to highlight that here. She has a bunch of senses to help with intel gathering and can always dodge or run away if she gets caught. She's also faster than Chat and more Agile than Ladybug, but weaker than both)

Bee Miraculous of Domination (Note: Domination is the name of the Bee Miraculous attribute in the French version and the English one changed it to Subjection, which literally means the exact same thing. I like Domination better, so bye bye petite Subjection)

Domination: Venom

Bee: Smell, Vibrosense, Flight (Yes, Ladybug being the only bug her that cant fly is weird, but I didn't want her to lose her Spiderman swinging)

Ladybug and Chat would have to spend time during a better version of season three learning to use their new powers instead of relying on the dollar store justice league.

Hello! I know it's late- But I wanna do some infodump or really just rambling instead.

Firstly remember when I said Lucio and Wick are enemies to lovers kinda thing? They are however is not very toxic.. More like few bickering there and that, it's going to be a slow burn it'll take time for them to admit their feeling each other. They respect eachother a little though.

Did they admit? Nope they both deny it in several reasons which I already have explained later older posts. Wick falls first, then Lucio falls harder (More than how Rocky fell down into the stairs poor Rocky my boi-)

While Lucio dislikes Wick and often gets too blunt at him there's time he actually show kindness although he doesn't want to admit that. No he does not want Wick to see that, his unaware the other thinks the same too.

'Funny' enough he was supposed to get rid of Wick because his boss assigned, to prevent Wick being presuade funding the Lackadaisy which failed.. So after few interrogating, the result became unexpected, it happened when Wick treated him kindness.. Not fake kindness but genuine something he no longer had.

Cause how would Wick love a guy working for a crime boss and had done messed up things to a result of destroying through his childhood? As much he wants to never go near to the posh cat it's nearly impossible because every time Wick appears to the more he grew to slowly fell for him..

Wick is a law abiding man. Lucio? Nothing but a huge disgrace.

Wick at first sees Lucio as a company after having no choice but to atleast helped each other (My Au.) Later on he gain feelings to Lucio also and became confuse and questioning his own Sexuality or attraction.

Until months later the two became close friends no longer 'Aqquaintance' the bickering decrease.. The bond grew close where at the point they started hanging out private places talking their interests, hobbies, many more. Laughing like old times like they were good 'friends.' This is when Lucio ditched supposed mission. Wick continued to be nice to him with added helping Lucio like carrying stuffs, trying his best to heal Lucio wound as possible, giving a friendly gift and etc. So is Lucio doing favors/errands/giving 'friendly gifts' for Wick.

Lucio jokingly calls Wick princy then after months of their 'Aqquaintanceship' started calling him 'Hiyas' (Meaning gem cause Wick likes rocks so why not?.) He had accidentally call Wick 'irog' which means love luckily the other doesn't know Tagalog, it proceeded to stirr Lucio more falling into deep pit of so called 'love'.

Wick slowly he soon saw Lucio's true self not the walking snark and sass self but slowly nice self.. This lead him having a denial to out of fear not how will the public think if the info was exposed, how will it effect his image as a businessman think but everyone he cares including Lucio too.

Imagine Wick knew what Lucio's assigned misson earlier when they meet first. Now after few months Wick started to love him dearly. he didn't react negatively to it instead tells Lucio to do it so he won't have to suffer the consequences, shocking Lucio and left two options either kill Wick or leave.. He picked second option realizing coming in a conclusion.

He LOVE Wick.

La Squadra and Self Care

this has been sitting in my drafts for way too long so it’s time to finally post lmaooo. self care, hygiene, what they smell like, how they relax. a whole bunch of stuff. honestly they’re more just like personal life headcanons for the boys but oh wellll. enjoy! also i’m working on requests and stuff, i’m just so busy with class work and some things going on in my personal life i’m sorry </3

Illuso:

self care king honestly

in terms of hygiene, this guy showers twice a day, three times if hes around or has the time

face mask before bed every second night and has a morning and evening skincare routine

often likes to reward himself at the end of the week with a nice bath surrounded by some scented candles. this is his favourite way to relax

has a very strict sleep schedule. if you wake him up before 8am and it’s not important, he will fight you lmao

his hair is of most importance so takes great care of it. he washes it very regularly and loves to brush it until it’s silky smooth

he will not leave the house with any knots in his hair. for this reason, he takes a hairbrush with him in case he has to brush it whilst gone

he smells like his shampoo tbh. like some sort of floral scented shampoo

he’s always making use of body sprays and colognes too. normally also floral scented

to relax, aside from a nice bath, he likes to sit down and read people’s horoscopes. he probably keeps some sort of horoscope journal so he likes to fill that out too

sometimes he’ll play video games with formaggio and some of the other guys

Formaggio:

honestly i can’t unsee that one part where he doesn’t wash his hands after going to the bathroom so this man is…questionable with his hygiene

showers when he remembers or can be bothered

applies way too much deodorant and probably reeks of lynx africa

that being said, he probably puts on cologne sometimes

he doesn’t have a routine to be honest. just a shower and deodorant and he’s probably good to go. cologne if he remembers it or the situation requires it

illuso and proscuitto have probably tried to persuade him to do face masks and skin care routines with them but he always tells them it’s a waste of time lmao

people buy him fancy shower gels and stuff for christmas and he doesn’t take the hint. he continues to use the lynx africa shower gel that came in a set with his deodorant

all jokes aside i think he would shower when he knows he’s unclean or personally feels unclean

always taking breaks for his mental state, most likely playing video games. it’s his escape. he enjoys playing them with ghiaccio and melone

he often stays up late doing so but this man will ALWAYS catch up on his sleep lmaooo. he’ll probably be napping at the worst possible times due to a messed up sleep schedule

also likes to relax by crocheting little hats for his cat <3

also uses 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash (nothing wrong with it btw, i just definitely see him using it)

Prosciutto:

has amazing self care, this man definitely has a big self care routine (partly because he’s worried grateful dead will have a negative effect on his appearance)

definitely showers every day, maybe even twice a day

i think he would use a bit of hair products like spray or gel so i think he’d be the kind of guy who washes his hair everyday otherwise it’s gonna be really clogged up there with all that hair product lmaooo. sometimes just simply washes it with water, other times he’s using shampoo and conditioner

also uses a lot of cologne. never leaves the house without it. he’d rather be caught dead than not have on his favourite scent

speaking of what he smells like, i haven’t smelled many men’s cologne, but i do know i love the smell of tom ford noir and i can picture him wearing this

also leaning into the whole what he smells like thing, he probably has a faint whiff of tobacco from him. it lingers on his clothes but not in a pungent, unpleasant way. it’s more comforting and has become part of his natural scent alongside his cologne :) he makes sure he doesn’t reek of cigarettes

he probably has a lot of colognes (probably gets them as birthday and christmas gifts when no one knows what else to get him). he also probably has a lot of skin care items

speaking of skin care, he definitely has a routine he does every morning and night for sure. he hates it when his skin starts to feel rough in the slightest. also shaves often for this reason. he hates the feeling of hair on his face

will take time for himself by stepping away and going to read, he’ll probably do a face mask while doing so lmao

on the whole sleep schedule thing, this man goes to bed at 11pm. maybe 10:30pm if he’s extra sleepy. he’ll only stay up late if a job requires it

not exactly self care but i just wanted to include the headcanon that pros carries a tiny little foldaway comb in his suit jacket pocket at all times

i also think he’s the kind of guy who sings in the shower lmaooo. he likes to sing heart of glass by blondie (i’m going to make a post on my music headcanons for la squadra but it’s gonna be a little messy and all over the place in terms of what i think the guys would listen to sooo that post might be a while away lmaooo)

Risotto:

just like prosciutto and illuso, he has his own morning routine. doesn’t have a skin care routine per se but he definitely uses face creams and such when he remembers or has the time

also a man who showers daily

he doesn’t bother too much about his hair unlike pros and illuso since his hair is kept under his hat anyway

that being said, he does wash it regularly. he gets irritated when he knows it feels unclean

he mostly relaxes by reading and listening to music. he also likes crime novels but often finds them rather cliche and can work out everything before the end of the book

also listens to music a lot while doing things like paperwork or other activities that don’t require him listening to his surroundings. music is a big comfort for risotto for sure

i feel like he often struggles to sleep so he often uses sounds he finds relaxing to get to sleep (mostly rainforest noises)

i have a shower song for risotto too unfortunately and it’s pour some sugar on me by def leppard :,)

i think he’s definitely got the cleanliness part nailed down but he’s not so good at relaxing since he’s always so busy so he’s probably not the best at self care

he’s always getting lectured by the other guys to take a break and take some time to himself for a while because honestly, he often forgets to take any time for himself

Ghiaccio:

firstly, he definitely relaxes by playing video games and reading comic books. he loved to escape in stuff like that

i also feel like he relaxes by cleaning for some reason. like, he finds it very satisfying and calming to clean up his room while he listens to some music in his headphones and blocks out the shenanigans of all the other guys lmaooo

as for his levels of cleanliness, i can see him being a very clean man in all aspects

just like pros and illuso, he showers at least twice a day. however, unlike pros and illuso, he probably uses like a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash. i can imagine him wondering (more like ranting) about why you would buy two individual products for more money when you can have the two products in one and save money

despite melone's efforts to try and change ghiaccio's ways, ghiaccio does not have a facial care routine in terms of things like moisturizers

he does, however, take care of his skin more now than he ever did due to constant outbreaks of spots so i can definitely see him at least using some sort of fancy face wash, even if he does refuse to do any other parts of a skincare routine

Pesci:

first of all, this boy likes watching slime videos to relax. he finds the noises very relaxing!

also likes to watch tik toks to take a break from the world

just like his big bro, he has a very good self care routine! he has a very similar one in fact

has a skin care routine and normally follows alongside prosciutto to make sure he’s doing it right

sometimes joins in the face masks

also he smells of apple shampoo! the smell is very comforting to him <3

other ways he likes to relax is by doodling. he’s not necessarily great at art but doing little doodles makes him happy. i totally think he would have his own OCs for the different media he consumes (he’s just like me fr)

also likes to read to relax! he often reads comic books and gets a lot of recommendations from ghiaccio and borrows them from him often

if he can’t fall asleep on his own, he sometimes goes to formaggio or ghiaccio’s room and falls asleep watching them play their video games

but for the most part he has a strict bedtime set for himself to ensure he gets the sleep he needs

Melone:

loves getting his nails done

also likes doing other peoples nails to help them relax too

just like prosciutto and illuso, this guy also has a good self care routine in terms of skin care and hygiene

also part of the face mask gang. i can imagine melone, illuso and prosciutto have a little self care night doing each others nails and doing face masks and having a good little gossip

part of the night owl gang. he stays up late often playing games with formaggio and ghiaccio though he probably is the first one to cave in and go to bed

again, i think he would like to read. he definitely has a stack of books at his bedside that he’s desperately trying to get through when he has the time

i think he would also have a floral scent to him. illuso often accuses of stealing his shampoo or body sprays because the smell is so similar

very sensitive to light when he’s trying to sleep. even the tiniest little bit of light sneaking through the curtains will disturb him so he sleeps with an eye mask over his eyes

Sorbet and Gelato

as per usual, i don’t have many headcanons for these guys but whatever they do, fully expect them to be joined at the hip

i mean they’re brushing their teeth in the bathroom together, they’re doing their skincare routines in sync

they shower separately but they do enjoy having baths together. in fact, this is probably their ideal way to relax

they definitely like to paint each other’s nails too when they have the time. the second any one of them has a chip in the polish, they’re taking it off and redoing it for sure

they also like to snuggle up on the sofa together with a blanket sharing the same book as they read together <3

In terms of high school posting, i feel so disconnected from posts about stories with makeup and friendships and parties and cliques and stereotypical goofy drama because I never had a gaggle of friends to gossip to about that shit. But I'm also too disconnected from posts about hardass rebelling, emo problems, loud music and "shut up mom, I'm brooding!". Getting into fights and getting arrested and running away from home and purposely being a loner.

I can relate to the posts about being bullied, but that's it. And sometimes, not even then because it's about someone being too geeky and nerdy and smart. Or talking about being weird but "omg he likes anime" weird, or good old "pretending to be a cat" weird, not "there isn't even a stereotypical label to describe them" weird.

I was emo and a geek and had a cat phase but nobody cared about that, they cared about treating me like shit because I was weird weird, and lacked social skills and was confused on how to human, which turned out to be because of autism mixed with undiagnosed mental health problems.

I never see any relatable 'tism/ND posting about being the weird kid,

Who has maybe two equally weird/labeled by the school as "developmentally disabled" friends (probably should have been a sign for me that I was different since neurodivergent people tend to gravitate toward other neurodivergent people),

That gets taken advantage of by the "normal" "cool" people,

That isn't really aware of social cues, social standards, or social cliques- basically anything that has societal rules

Who doesn't get into real crushes or relationship stuff that isn't exploitation (or ND dating where nothing happens except awkward hangouts),

Who doesn't really get anything ever and moves through school on autopilot, trying to figure stuff on our own bc we don't want to look incapable and ask for help but then we end up super behind and everyone labels you as lazy and "dumb",

Who tries to do things that might get attention bc we don't understand how to interact, but usually ends up with negative responses,

That then holes up inside with our personal hyperfixations in the hope we stop being noticed, but now we're known as the idiot weirdo so we have "no choice" but to be picked on bc we made it known we aren't normal,

And our anguish is seen as dramatic or not serious enough because we're too "stupid" to be depressed, so we're seen as even more of a joke than emos, even by emos,

And aren't officially diagnosed with the 'tism or any other neurodivergency (mostly because "people with autism are smart and you're failing your classes and dont understand anything ever" stereotype) for anybody to be fake nice and pity this "stupidity " of ours, via specific school and social worker orders.

So if you were or are one of those kids, this one is for you. Shout out to all my neurodivergent friends who feel like they can't relate to any posts about crazy high school stories, because yall masked or interacted the wrong way and it made people bully or abandon you , while you sat wondering what the hell you did so wrong. And because you don't or didn't do the stigmatized versions of being weird, something "must" be actually wrong with you because you're even more hated than if you put "cat girl", "anime guy", and "emo bitch" all together.

(Esp to afabs, since doctors were and are still very insistent to not diagnose us with autism and we're usually the ones that get no sympathy as a result because we're just psycho weird girlies to everyone else)

*BTW not knocking or competing with anybody that has the stereotypical tropes of being bullied, this is just a shout out to people who NEVER get noticed*

We need a fc for Freddie ASAP, cause I feel like that will resolve so many questions about him. He for sure knows he is below her standards, so he’s trying to ruin her self esteem to get her to fuck/date him.

My mom’s friend once commented on the couple we saw on the street.

Little back story She was so fucking pretty, really put an effort into her appearance, laughing and joking.. She seemed like a really funny, someone cool you’d want to be around. He looked like he just rolled out of bed, didn’t even bother to brush his hair, clothes rumpled, grumpy, mean to her… She was so out of his league, but he had the audacity to check out other girls, IN FRONT OF HER.

Soo, of course we had to comment on it. And she said it’s probably low self esteem, lack of confidence, and that he made her believe he was better than her, and that she should be gratefull he’s even given her a chance.

I think that’s what Freddie is trying to do.

Can’t wait to learn what really happened in Monaco.

I wish her father makes an appearance, fucking destroys Holly and Lauren. Like bankrupt Holly’s agency, take over, renegotiates deal with Lando’s team. I had high hopes for Lauren, but not anymore. At first she seemed like someone who could be an ally If not a friend, but now she’s just an employee doing her job. So when times come, she’ll be treated as such.

I’m kinda afraid of what’s gonna happen in a meeting with Zak. I don’t really care about him IRL, but it’s seems like he won’t be a positive character in this.

Girlie is getting attacked from all sides, and I don’t like it. Really loved Logan detail. It does seem like people always try to connect WAGs to different drivers. Sometimes it is true, they seem to date from the same pool. LOL. But not this time, baby Logie can be a friend.

Next week, I hope we get at least some resolution, couse there are so many unanswered questions.

Btw, Lando did post much more last year, and in real time. But during summer brake, he and his friends got robbed. His friend talked about it on her tiktok. After that he started protecting his privacy better. Posting photo dumps only after he leaves the place, he even stopped posting on his .jpg account for a while.

Hahaha. Freddie will make an appearance and I don’t think he will what people expect….

Yeah guys do do that, I think nowadays they call it “negging”. It’s actually pathetic behaviour. We will see if you agree that’s what Freddie up to…

Lauren is doing her job, Sophie is doing her job, Zak is doing his job, even Holly is just doing her job. I think the problem when you’ve got so many people whose job it is to manage how another person behaves, you do get in these situations whenever you step out of line. Because at the end of the day these people can’t stop doing their jobs to take care of you. They may like you or even care about you in some abstract way but your well-being isn’t their priority. So it sucks to be in that position but from their side it also sucks, it’s like herding cats.

I do remember Lando’s friend Jennie talking about how they got robbed in Ibiza but somehow I didn’t connect that to why he stopped posting so much.

Also tbf when I compare him to Max I remember how much content I was able to get from Kelly’s insta, whereas Lando doesn’t have a gf. I remember Luisa used to share content of him and Kika has Pierre a lot on her insta. So yeah him being single is really not convenient 😂

But yeah I did not appreciate how between Kelly, his jet tracker, his redline streams, and the fact that he makes documentaries about his life, Max Private Man Verstappen actually has a lot of content out there lol

reflecting on my 2023 in this fandom, i wanted to share some observations, reflections and projections for 2024. it's a little mix of positive and negative stuff so, and as this will be something mostly only mutuals will read (if at all), i just wanted to give you that heads up. i have some bits to get off my chest.

so, to start with, some little observations about myself as a writer:

i tag it 'nationverse' because i don't tend to write nationverse (the odd bit of historical, but not consistently), and i think it's useful to signpost to my readers 'oh btw they are actually nations in this one, in case that's not what you want to read today'. that is okay.

i will always call it 'engspa' to distinguish it from 'spuk' because i have a preferred dynamic for them and i grew up in a fandom space that tagged things as such to help readers know what they were getting into. that is okay.

i prefer having a ficlet collection to posting small works separately because it helps me manage my fics, see what i have and haven't done, navigate my profile, keep the request fics in one place, and maintain my drive to write small things compared to posting them all separately. that is okay.

i block people in order to curate my online enviroment, to avoid topics or content i'm not interested in or that i don't want to be in my happy space, and to manage my own emotions - and i am allowed to do so. that is okay.

i don't like every ship under the sun and so won't fulfil every request or suggestion i receive into my inbox, no matter how many times i am asked to. that is okay.

i just feel a need to address these things that have cropped up in my year. at a few points i've felt like a 'bad writer' for doing certain things or have been made to feel like a 'bad writer' for... essentially having preferences. at various points i lost confidence and contemplated throwing the towel.

thing is, we all do things differently, and we all have our own systems, preferences, and needs. i wish we'd stop putting each other down for that.

while i don't doubt my insecurities won't shift much next year, in 2024, i'll be in my eighth year writing. that feels like an achievement i ought to be celebrating. and it reminds me how important writing is in my life - because that's a third of my lifetime i will have been writing for. and mostly for this fandom, haha...

looking on the fics i've written and finished this year, if i had to pick my favourite three, they'd probably be...

'Let Me Go' - i'm still patting myself on the back for this one. it's my favourite piece of nationverse i've written to date, and i could do so much with it...

'Want' - begging myself to write a sequel that i probably won't, but i can dream!

'Smokescreen' - ...it felt good to be bad, just for a little bit!

if i then think about my favourite aus in general from this year, then it's got to be:

the zoo au, from 'Lovebirds' because it's just CUTE, okay?

the RNLI au, from 'Swell', in which Arthur and Antonio are lifeboat volunteers (10/10 would write more)

the dragons au, from 'Scales' because worldbuilding is fun but also,, Rhys, my boy! :D

the school au, from 'The Note', for the memories it brings back and the reminder that i can write fluff, dammit!

and if only you guys knew the aus happening in my messages with maiva,, we are so smart we are so cool we are constantly drowning in cats :)

to conclude these little reflections on my year in fandom, things i'm a bit sad about:

i've given up on 'Bound' as a series - i just haven't been able to get anywhere with the plans or drafts i have, and i've lost my love for it, so it's officially parked.

'Hopeful Waters' will also definitely not continue - i will, however, not delete it as i have stopped myself from doing a million times this year. i may write snippets of 'what would have been' but my relationship with the fic is... largely negative, so i make no promise.

hetaween fics slipped through my darn fingers this year and i didn't write as much as i wanted. next year, i will return with vengeance... ùwú

and things i'm happy about or proud of from this year:

i've written now well over a million words on ao3 which feels,, just surreal, honestly. 16 year old helia would never

i finally cleared out my ao3 inbox and stopped hoarding comments for months and i'm keeping on top of it!

i've continued to write dialogue prompt lists! it always makes me happy when i see others using them as well <3

and so, looking at 2024...

next year, what i'm hoping above all else is that 'For Me?' reaches its conclusion. it's been slow-going this year with updates, and it's nearly two years old (ouch), but i'm now finally getting the plot back on track and i know my direction. i hope the wait will be worth it! i'm excited about what's to come for Antonio, Arthur, and the others :)

i also hope 'Bitter Teeth' keeps going strong. i hope i let myself take breaks without feeling so guilty. i hope i get more into historical hetalia again. i really want to explore the implications of the events of 'Let Me Go'. i hope i learn to love my unfinished works or abandoned wips. i hope i start sharing more of my ideas. i hope i learn it's okay to not always want to write the same characters over and over, even if they are my favourites.

really, i just want to keep moving forward. i want to keep writing. i want to keep loving writing. i want to keep exploring. i want to not succumb to negativity as much. i want to indulge even more in what i want and what i feel like.

oh, and i want more cat aus. sorry maiva. we're not finished.

To answer YOUR question positive cersei content is kind of an oxymoron to me outside of the obvious jokey girlboss stuff. I guess the closest thing to 'positive' cersei content is acknowledging that she's the way that she is for a pretty good reason and doesn't exist as evil bitch in a vacuum. Where i see Tyrion being talked about more positively (but tbf positively isn't the word I meant to use, i'd say more sympathetically) is in your au that you did about joanna.

my last ask got too long for the tumblr Gods so here's the end of it: The interpretation I got from your au was deff sort of a "Jaime and Tyrion are still loved and get their mothers love even though it's conditional but Cersei is the only one who has any explicit negative feelings towards her mom and isn't made immediately sympathetic" I'm not sure if you or others would agree but it was something that jumped out to me and made me go hmm… if that makes sense. I don't hate your au btw! I thought your characterization of joanna was really unique and intriguing.

I agree, 'positive Cersei content' sounds kind of counterintuitive - there aren't really any positive themes in Cersei's story to riff off of.

but to your point on 'acknowledging that she's the way that she is for a pretty good reason and doesn't exist as an evil bitch in a vaccuum' - I feel it's fair to say I do acknowledge this. I've always said I feel like there's both nature and nurture in all the characters and especially Cersei, that she wouldn't be Cat if she were raised by Hoster (for example), but she wouldn't be the woman she is in canon, either.

I don't think human beings are born as blank slates, and I don't think that notion makes for good character work, so sure, I'd certainly argue Cersei has some traits her brother's don't, just as Tyrion has traits the twins don't, and so on. but I get the impression you've read more of my posts than the most recent, so do you reckon one could say that I don't advocate that she's an 'evil bitch in a vaccuum'?

as for 'talking about Tyrion more positively' in the Joanna AU - again, personally I don't feel like I do? it's pretty much canon that Cers is full of fury and long has been, and the hcs are really about how I feel that fury would manifest against Joanna in a situation where I think, if it were canon, Joanna would essentially have committed a great wrong against her daughter whilst trying to do something right. and as for Joanna preferring her sons to her daughters in this AU, if anything that was inspired by my mother and grandmother lmao. like this kind of misogyny on the part of mothers in disdaining their daughters and glorifying their sons is veeery familiar to me and I could really see it for Cersei and Jo.

so that's some of my thinking behind the posts, if that helps you understand where I'm coming from!

I want to take this opportunity to talk about short tail mutations in cats, with the Japanese Bobtail and Cymric as examples. Btw Cymric is just a longhaired Manx, so we're talking about the Manx gene here. The Manx mutation for short tails is notorious for the associated health complications, even including death. You see, the mutation works by eliminating some vertebra and that makes the tail shorter. Sometimes it eliminates too many vertebra. In any case, you should never breed tailless x tailless Manx. In contrast, the mutation that gives the Japanese breed its short tail seems to be harmless and devoid of negative side effects. There are probably more than these two that can cause short tails in cats - some harmless, some very dangerous. Anyway. Think twice before buying a Manx or one of the breeds derived from it, and carrying a potentially very dangerous mutation.

A’ight so I’m answering this as fast as I possibly can so just bear with me, please. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING BTW OMG :D I have three little main guys which, as a trio, are called Goldtooth trio. since the story I’m writing hast he draft name Goldtooth. I only ever posted OC art of Goldtooth (the Cat, the Demon and the Tooth guy) so I’m assuming you mean them?

So my three little abominations are called Yimo, Nathan and Chére (this is how you spell their names but I always struggle with putting the accent on the e when writing on my laptop, so just ignore that I’ll not add it fort he rest of this post).

ALL RIGHT THEN! So because I will physically refrain from simply copy and pasting my info cards of them into this answer I will instead give you a brief summary of the character and their part of the plot in the story.

First up’s Nate who’s, at first glance, the most responsible oft he three, since he actually has a "job" and is usually not as feral. Do not be fooled, though, cause this walking pair of dentures is filled to the brim with so much anger and is also part of an illegal bike street racing community. (which is how he makes money). He’s being hunted down (-ish) by the local police officer similar to Chere, but unlike Chere the police do not know his name or face. He’s a major nerd, but tries to appear calm and stoic when in public- and Jesus Christ it sounds like I’m writing a tinder bio a’ight next guy then- Yimo! Yimo’s the youngest oft he three and is, like Nathan, German. Yimo is also a nerd but because of her excessive amount of free time she spends a lot of it outside, unlike Nate. She is incredibly obsessed with the paranormal and tries to find evidence of it’s existence. Due to a lot of recent UFO sightings (or other cryptid, we’ll see how I write this) she has been actively investigating the probability of the rumored paranormal life in their city. Yimo also has a small Youtube channel and films everything. She claims it’s for paranormal investigating only, but at least half of the videos on the channel include roommate shenanigans.

(Yimo’s plot part is the one I’m most unsure about so a lot of this will most likely change…)

LAST UP: CHERE!

Okay so my buddy @tectco and I have basically made him the tumblr sexyman of the group, although this man has negative charisma and should not be allowed to talk to anyone without supervision, ever. Aside from that he’s the oldest oft the trio and does not act like it. He’s also plagued by absolutely terrible luck which made him get into the unfortunate situation of being accused of multiple murders he did not commit simply because of his murderer-look-alike. Because of this he is unable to get a job and is wanted by the police so he’s stuck desperately trying to hide from them (at Nate and Yimo’s apartment). He’s also American. And a cat. I need to stop talking about him.

I think I might’ve rambled too much. I hope this is somewhat comprehensible. Ummmmm thank you for letting me ramble about them! Have a great day, Anon!

tinkering around with my yo-kai horror show au and…

(BTW THIS IS A LONG POST!! This is gonna be me explaining some stuff about my Yo-Kai Horror Show AU, a crossover au between Yo-kai Watch and Gregory Horror Show!! I’m putting this here just because of the “read more” I’m gonna be putting underneath this warning! I hope you all enjoy reading my rambling about my very silly AU ^_^)

I think we might?? just scrap the role of Gregory Mama being even a whole thing?? because I STRONGLY want Whisper to be in the role of Gregory but then who’s gonna be fitting the role of Gregory Mama? then I got to thinking; oh! What about Blizzie? *LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER GOES OFF* Okay, but what if… We… Get rid of the role of Gregory Mama? Instead we make Blizzie kinda just… This whole Yo-Kai that Whisper is a huge follower of, crushing over her, as he does always, (think of their interactions within Yo-Kai Watch Blasters or whenever she appears in the yo-kai watch anime I guess because apparently she does from what I heard? I personally don’t remember.) and so she kinda plays along with his crush but deep down she just wants him for powering up her powers because she’s all weakened down due to several things (the number one thing is that she caused something majorly bad, got banished because of it. The whole Gregory Horror Show type vibes!) causing her to built NONE OTHER THAN *cue the music*

THE INFAMOUS, YO-KAI HOUSE! A hotel between a strange realm connecting between the Yo-kai World and the Human World! A place for those who no longer belong in reality, somewhere where they can go to, to run away from it all. A place just made… For them. And only them. It’s simply just paradise hidden away in the middle of nowhere for those lost desperate souls that are in need of saving…

Paradise… At a price. Giving away your soul, giving away what you know about reality, just to become a mindless slave to this hotel, all for nothing… But the residents don’t know that, do they?

Not all of them do. Only a few do, unfortunately… But that was the price they paid… Some of them didn’t even pay that price. It was taken away from them. All because of her…

Jibanyan was a close friend of Whisper, they went way back, back before he became obsessed with her, it broke his heart when he saw what Whisper became when he would do anything for Blizzie. Anything… Including… Going behind Jibanyan’s back and stitching him all up… Locking him up within Yo-Kai House… All so he wouldn’t save what was left of Whisper. All so he wouldn’t taken down Blizzie’s wicked plans…

There’s still a ‘piece’ of Jibanyan that gets to roam around the hotel. Nobody knows what to call it. Everyone has their own ideas of what to call it. The huge thing Whisper can feel towards this… Thing… Is guilt. Guilt, frustration, every negative emotions… This ‘piece’ is sentient, and his name is Junior. Junior is just a kid, getting into trouble, wanting to play with the other kid-like yo-kais trapped in the hotel yet Whisper is always upset at him for “doing the wrong thing.” Even when Junior was forced to help out around the hotel, it was never good enough for Whisper, he was never good enough for him… And that all has to do with the deep seated guilt Whisper has buried up inside for what he has done to his ‘old friend’… Covering it with immense anger towards the cat that once brought him comfort and joy in tough times… A bond like that, once destroyed, can never be recovered again…
