Ngl I just find it so funny if Danny just accidentally becomes friends with someone trying to rob him like-

And he was up, hands above his head and everything. The guy in all black proceeded to pat him down along his pockets while pointing a gun at him otherwise.

“How do you not have a wallet on you?”

“I’m a college student, I can barely afford tuition.”

That’s a lie, he was on a full ride scholarship, but they didn’t need to know that.

“Oh you too?”

Did this bitch just say ‘you too’ ? No way.

“‘You too?’ Are you doing this to pay for college???”

Ancients, the school system sucked if he had to resort to crime for this.

“Yeah- you wouldn’t believe how expensive my major is, the textbooks alone cost more than my rent!”

“Holy shit, no kidding. Yeah, why are textbooks so expensive? Why am I paying hundreds of dollars for something that could have been a 2 dollar pdf?”

“Right! I tried asking my professor instead, but he said he’d fail me if I didn’t have the right materials! It’s driving me nuts. Like how am I supposed to pay for all this?”

How Dannt started making conversation with his own robber, he didn’t know, but he was happy to finally complain with someone. He hadn’t exactly made friends since he got here.

“Personally I buy used books, and the more trashed they are, the cheaper. Then, you can just use the pdf version but still have the textbook in class. It’s honestly so much easier. Or you can see if you can borrow it from the library and just bring it in for the classes he checks it, then return it after to avoid the fees. That option is a bit more troublesome though.”

“Oh shit, no way! That’s awesome, I never thought of that, thanks man! Man, I wish I talked to you sooner.”

“Yeah, it’s all good, maybe just avoid the crime after this? There’s tons of online jobs you can do during class and stuff. I don’t know, there’s always another option than crime. You sound like a good guy, just desperate.”

The robber turned friend (?) lowered his gun and sighed before returning the items in the bag to everyone. He then apologized to the cashier and then to everyone else before giving Danny a hug (how long had it been since he’d gotten one of those?) and leaving. Danny was so proud of him he almost cried (again).

Oo! Okay. Well I’m still gonna write an epilogue for WYSP that gonna be so sugary sweet it’ll spread diabetes, but otherwise it’s probably a 3-way tie between Chicks Dig Scars, Magic James, or Baby Bird bc they all end on the implication that Jily will then ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after!

Had one scene ripped off so blatantly (like, almost all the elements) that it honestly put me off reading too many other ppl’s Jily stories for a bit, bc I really never want to put another author thru that. Now I can 💯 percent guarantee that all my ideas and the scenarios are my own. Sucks though, bc obviously I’m here bc I love reading Jily. (I’ll definitely go back to reading when I’m not in the midst of writing 2 stories though.)

Aaaah! Hm. 🤔 Okay. That’s a toughie. For my heart and soul, I’d say WAYDTM, bc honestly, I really do feel like I poured all my feelings into that one. many thoughts! number one being that if you don't know it, get someone who's above average fluent to help you if you feel like the language is needed in the story! and if the language is fake (like using kryptonian) then make the inclusion of it make sense! other thoughts are for my thinking only 💕 (and my unfortunate friends who have to listen to me lecture)

Genuine question! people on here get so pissy at anyone asking what their thoughts on the drivers sexualities are but you’ve blatantly put the pride flag on a George post so would that not be the same thing?? Like I’m genuinely not trying to be a douche but I just don’t understand the double standards (I’m also not singling you out as I’ve seen other users get pissy at ppl asking but your post just happens to come up aha)

That’s fair anon and it’s good of you to ask this as a genuine question to find out rather than just get frustrated and assume it’s all hypocrisy. You wouldn’t be the first, so thanks for asking instead.

Here comes a read more because I’ve done my best to explain it, and if you wanted a shorter version you shouldn’t have asked me

Tl;dr: Because one is a joke based on a known fiction presented to an audience in on the joke, and the other either isn’t a joke and thus an invasion of privacy, or steps too close to the line for people to feel comfortable engaging in

It all comes down to engaging in the joke vs genuine, harmful speculation. Putting a rainbow flag on a post of a guy hanging out with his girlfriend, who I genuinely do like, is what I HOPE is a clear joke.

What makes it a joke is that I do not believe with any conviction that George and Lewis are actually fucking. I would LOVE it, but they aren’t.

The core tenant of acceptable rpf is being able to separate fiction from the real life that feeds it. We are playing make believe with characters who happen to be based on real people. That’s why most of us will tell you to keep this stuff entirely on tumblr/ao3, so there is a barrier of separation between drivers and fic, and why I do my best to clearly differentiate between when I’m talking about serious topics, and when I’m engaging in very dumb ship talk.

I will also point at the name of my blog, my tag line and my blog title all make it clear I’m not a serious place, I’m here talk about an rpf ship, and occasionally give my fan opinion of motorsport. People shouldn’t be coming to me for unbiased news. I have never been unbiased in my life.

In my posts here I’m leaning into the bit of the entirely fictional ship I enjoy. Of course George isn’t indicating he’s gay by driving a purple Mercedes in LA. That’s a joke I’d hope all of my followers are in on. It’s also a play on how celebrity couples are debated and how real queer people are treated by the world at large.

For example when I came out, both times, the reaction I got most from friends and family was “we already guessed you were”— now while they may think that’s a good way to respond… no they didn’t. They made assumptions based on stereotypes about queer people and applied it to me at an age where I didn’t even know what I was or liked. We’ve all seen the tweets from genuine idiots going “I don’t trust men ordering dessert, that’s for women” or “I think men who wear scarves are a bit gay”, but those are just an extremely concentrated form of stereotypes we’ve seen for decades. If a man enjoys crochet or a woman loves woodworking, you bet your ass Instagram comments will be saying they’re clearly gay.

We also see it all the time around celebrities— people harmfully assuming based on a hair style, a pet, or an attitude that a driver is gay and that they’ve “figured it out”, or even just because you saw two people hanging out a few times they MUST be together. Look at the Lewis and Shakira incident— they never once confirmed a relationship but some people will treat that as absolute fact. We have all seen both Lewis and George separately receiving hate under the assumption they are gay men by homophobic fans- Lewis for his piercings and fashion, and George for having long eye lashes and a slightly effeminate build. Shit, Nelson Piquet, ex f1 champion, has made on broadcast homophobic comments about Lewis that the Brazilian government fined him over. That is how common this idea is to most people.

The only way to know someone is lgbtq+ is if they tell you they are, and the only way to know what relationships they’re in, is if they tell you. It doesn’t matter how much you want to know or what evidence you’ve found, that’s a privacy everyone should be allowed, even celebrities. You do not know until they confirm it. I don’t care if someone came up to me and said they’ve seen George blow a guy, unless he says he’s queer, I don’t know shit.

But it’s still incredibly common, and most queer people experience this, and have opted to reclaim the joke. I will point at George sitting funny and cuffing his jeans and go “see! He’s just like us, the bisexuals”, because that’s a way queer people will joke you identify bi people. And when you read that back, it’s very clearly a joke. You can’t discover someone’s sexuality based on their sitting style. I do the same thing as an autistic person, because we are ALSO heavily scrutinised based on other ideas of what autism is. You don’t know how many fuckin people decide it’s appropriate to tell me “but you don’t seem autistic to me” because I don’t fit their standards. If someone tells me my eye contact means I’m not autistic, I can say George lining up his trains as a kid is a point for autism.

It’s also a joke derived from a genuine lack of representation. Humans like to see themselves represented. There’s no publically gay people on the grid, or autistic folk, so it’s pretty fair for us to decide that fuck it, until there is, I’m grabbing the guy who acts like I do and pretending he’s my rep. That’s how gay slash as a concept really began, honestly. If you don’t give people ample access to something, they’ll make their own, and sometimes even if they have it, they’ll do it anyway because it’s creatively enjoyable.

People get “pissy” (be careful using that word, it’s a lot more patronising than I think you intended it to be) about GENUINE speculation, because its not the acceptable joke we’ve all agreed to. Now you can argue about where the line for the joke should be, or if there should be one at all, but most of us have settled in a similar spot and talk with people who agree with that line. If that makes you uncomfortable, it is okay to leave or block someone. I have been blocked by more than a few het George fans. That is their right.

I think personally that pinning a sexuality to drivers is always going to be seen as genuine speculation unless it’s within the context of a fic where you set the boundaries, or a joke. Personally, if I wrote an entire list out and genuinely put thought into the sexuality of drivers on the grid, that is speculation, and there’s no way around that because I’d be making those assumptions based on stereotypes. Any of the drivers could be queer, none of them could be. We do not and likely will never know because we don’t live in a society where there are 0 ramifications for sharing your sexuality.

All the drivers could be bi but are in straight passing relationships and are happy that way for all we know. We literally have no way to tell unless they chose to share, which is unlikely given that 10/24 of this years races occur in countries where gay marriage is not recognised, and it is explicitly illegal to practice homosexuality in several of those. Even in the remaining countries, Florida, Texas and England have all introduced increasingly hostile anti LGBT legislation — F1 as a sport may try to say otherwise, but you cannot say that it is a queer friendly sport while also travelling to places where if a government decided to act on their laws, many fans could be put in serious danger.

Would you want to come out in that? Especially turning over something so personal and often painful to a public mob who will debate it?

While we all engage in our games here, it can be taken out of this space very quickly, and if someone made a post speculating on driver sexuality, it could spread, get ripped and posted on twitter, and grow into something far uglier very fast. Would you want to see a joke driver sexuality post spread like that? We all saw how the Fernando and Taylor swift joke went so far, so fast, until the fuckin aston admin had Fernando on a tiktok with Taylor swift audio. I’m not gonna make a post I already think is based on a flawed idea, about drivers I don’t care about, with that at risk.

You could argue again that our jokes could spread like that, but in the same way every post can be considered in bad faith when twisted the wrong way, it’s the gamble we make posting here. Trust me— I’m the guy who had his art posted in an Instagram hate collage by max fans— nothing is safe from the wrong eyes here.

I have also seen first hand the awful examples of people actually making those lists to coddle their faves. I have seen the posts where people genuinely think max is bisexual and autistic. They are infuriating.

Because I hate that, I frequently remind myself sometimes to be clearer when I’m being a rpf fan boy making a joke, and when I’m critiquing my drivers genuinely.

I can’t stop other people blurring or forgetting the line between joke and reality, but I can refuse to do it myself. I am only responsible for myself, and for making sure my jokes are clear enough most people will get them.

So that’s why yeah, I’ll make limp wrist joke about George, becuase I’ve been the target of them, but I’m not going to speculate on sexuality. I hope that helps.

today is just struggle after struggle

work felt like scrambling thru fog & molasses trying to figure shit out -> home was actually p good cleaned the house a bunch -> trying to wrangle an ao3 bookmarks downloader, nothing is working bc my laptop is so messed up from years of doing random CS shit to it for class + it's windows + I'm more familiar w Linux commands at this point -> literally three artist/writer deletion scares where ppl r actively deleting stuff off their accts or have announced inactivity or are possibly considering it. ive never saved much fanart/fanfic before but. i am starting now lolol -> probably need to invest in a larger hard drive. I do not know how to choose a good one -> stress

actually wait quimcourse is essential romeo deenstaynight lore i need every1 to know what happened or i'll die.

tl;dr all the way back in ~october 2020 this guy (he ended up being a sucky person as w like. half the people involved here) made an untagged tumblr post abt a bizarre + awful tma fanfic he found once which was 100% abt the author's self insert-ish oc having sex w every man in the podcast and uhm. in tma there was a character named mike crew whose whole deal was p much a trans allegory but like. possibly unintentionally. and there's an important plot point abt how he used to try and cover as much skin as possible bc of this massive scar he was trying to hide but after he began serving this evil god* (*oversimplification of the century) he began to embrace it and started wearing loose revealing clothing and it doesn't sound like that's that important but the way ppl describe him in-podcast is used to help understand the timeline and it's a bigger deal than it seems. and this guy. the one who made the post. his whole brand was centered around mike crew. so the part of the fic he made fun of was the fact that it had mike crew post-serving the evil god* wearing a turtleneck and leaving it on during sex. and also briefly mentioned another character who's like immortal* (*oversimplification) and from the regency period referring to the main character's pussy as a quim despite otherwise speaking entirely modern english.

and so in december of 2020. the author found the post and started harassing him, everyone who'd ever interacted w him more than once, and everyone who so much as alluded to the situation bc she's uncannily good at tracking down every post so much as vaguely mentioning her. the drama was stupid, one-sided and memeable and she was v pressed abt how her use of the word quim was justifiable and so every1 just sort of let this unfold for the night and then blocked her once it stopped being funny. the next day i made a joke abt mike crew's turtleneck to a blog called straighttma which was like. a tma parody* (*not quite) blog which speculated on what the podcast would be like if it were heterosexual. y'know. typical terminally online lgbt teenager shit. and added a little 'iykyk' to the end. a lot of ppl didn't know so i ended up giving a tl;dr in the notes.

fast forward to january when she found the post and started harassing me for misrepresenting her (made a joke in the REPLIES (NOT EVEN A RB. THE REPLIES) abt just how much cooking show rpf is on her ao3 profile. bc actually it was just inappropriately tagged master chef au rick sanchez/stan pines fic. bc that's such an improvement and so much different. and so everyone memed on her for a few hours and then realized how old i was (i was 15 but like. my bday's in november so it'd only been 2 months and the younger end of 15 is wayyy different than the older end of 15 so like. i was a Baby here) and got stuck on the fact that she (age 37) was being superr inappropriate towards me (bc again. this all started bc of a smut fic) and blocked her again bc it wasn't funny anymore. and then she blocked me before i could block her. presumably so she could still read my blog.

so then i made a joke abt her blocking me meaning that i could call her a motherfucker now (bc i'd been. wayyy too polite to her bc i was obsessed w everyone liking me at the time) and pinned it to my blog. then march rolled around and guess who took issue w being called a motherfucker and THREATENED SUICIDE OVER IT before dropping off the face of the earth for several days and siccing her fiance + sockpuppet account on everyone for 'possibly driving her to suicide' (100% done to frame herself as the victim here). she was fine and came back a few days later when every1 was ignoring her and i got so worried abt this woman over 2x my age who'd been stalking me for 2 months (she brought up things i'd posted which she had no business knowing esp considering i was blocked so she had to have been deliberately opening my blog) that i got physically ill bc of it.

then in like. may/june she decided to unblock me for a second time a couple days before i got a mysterious anon accusing me of cyberbullying. i dmed her a bit . she once again outted herself as stalking me . and i was. too nice once again. if only 15 year old me wasn't afraid of using the words 'raging cunt' and also made a post abt her being back then went offline. in the brief time i was offline it turns out she'd made another quimcourse-dedicated blog and started self-identifying as quimberlyann (a nickname we gave her derived from a word that means pussy btw. just a reminder.) and trying to reclaim the situation. she got lightly memed on bc by this point in time every1 was sick of her and then disappeared and has since deactivated. batshit crazy situation which i sometimes look back on fondly bc of the sheer wtf factor and also bc she was. so damn quotable. but then whenever i start to do so i remember the feeling of sobbing alone in my room bc i thought i might've killed a woman who had nothing but bad intentions regarding me and i'm more angry at her for deliberately pulling that stunt (bc that's exactly what it was. she had an active sockpuppet at the time. she was faking the whole way through and had planned it out in advance) for the sole purpose of hurting me than anything now. esp since i'm now old enough to recognize that's exactly what it was. and more than anything i'm mad that we parted on somewhat amicable terms when like. i hope she thinks of me as frequently as i think of her and i hope that just once the guilt from what she did to me makes her feel half as bad as she made me feel that night.

theres one fic i read on ao3 that Opened my eyes to it and its currently living in my head and driving me insane. i think kks + skku is something that happens Mostly accidentally. in my head, shikaku + yoshino separate around the time shikamaru is six ish just because theyre mutually gay and work better as friends, theyre still both very close and care for their son deeply! just, they’re gay.

jonin commander + council member + nara mind means that shikaku’s a close hand to the third hokage, undoubtedly has some contact/input with anbu. i think he and kks just kinda stumbled into each other. kks is wickedly intelligent in his own way and also a little shit and i think shikaku was just kind of intrigued.

(especially based on his canon interactions with his wife and shikamaru’s commentary on it. powerful ppl with attitude simply seems to do it for him)

A/N: Ha…hahaha… heyyyy. Not sure anyone is still interested in this. But I decided to finish it for the sake of my sanity. I found It on my drive and re-read it and… kinnnda tried to remember where I was going with it.

“Roman!”

When the creative side opened his eyes, the first thing he did was kiss Deceit.

There were plenty of things wrong with that decision though. Firstly, he had thought he put those urges behind him. Secondly, surely, surely he didn’t feel that way about the lying side anymore. Thirdly, even if the first and second statements were untrue, it wouldn't matter, because the Deceit he was trying to kiss was a memory… right? He would pass straight (gay?) through him, right? RIGHT? So why were the lips on his so warm and soft…and…?

“Ouch!” he said, as he covered his now bitten lips with his hand. “What the hell?” he glared at Deceit.

Oh god.

“I should be asking that!” hissed the snake side, Roman felt a little smug at the subtle blush on his cheeks. “You’re ice cold! What are you, especifically you, doing here?” The hold on his arms was bruising hard, Deceit helped him up, one hand on his waist as the yellow side realized Roman could barely stand.

“We were trying to find… what were we…?” Roman could barely think. Deceit was basically carrying him through the halls that now looked more like a maze.

“We? What is this we? The others are also here?” he was glaring, Roman was getting glared at. What a pair of pretty eyes… “Focus, Roman.”

Roman frowned, trying to remember what exactly he was doing just a minute ago. Wasn't he on a date? What was Dee panicking about? Weren’t they having a good time? Another one of Deceit’s hands was brought to his face, caressing his cheek. Roman melted under it, closing his eyes and getting ready to be kissed.

“Roman!” Deceit hissed instead.

The prince opened his eyes wide, in a moment of clarity he freed himself from Deceit’s grasp. He looked around frantically. Where the heck was Virgil?

“Anxiety brought you here?”

“No!” Roman finally stood up, realizing he had spoken aloud, but just as he found his balance the place rumbled. Deceit’s face turned pale as both of them stumbled.

“Thomas is here.” Roman turned to look at him so fast he almost got whiplash.

“How…?”

“Come on. We need to get you out of here and Thomas.” Roman could only mutter a quiet ‘but Virgil…’ as Deceit dragged him around. “Shit.” He stopped and turned, following an unknown path for Roman. “He must be close… Let’s go, my prince.”

Blame it on the state the subconscious had him in. Blame it on his cold limbs or the confusing state of his mind. But Roman may have swooned at that.

“I don’t think this idea is worth us all dying.”

“We are not dying, Thomas, you silly goose.” laughed Patton, as they dodged the gray frames that had catched up to them. “...Right, Lo?”

“Indeed.” answered the logical side, looking a bit out of breath. “We are… after all…figments…”

“Of my imagination, right. Well, I am very real!” screamed Thomas, as one wave of frames almost touched him turning a corner.

He screamed again when, having successfully made it to the new hallway, he came face to face with Remus. Thomas didn’t know who’s screech was louder, his, Remus’s or the others, but as he fell to the floor he watched the Duke smash down the closest frames with his morning star. Patton grabbed his hand, Remy holding his other one as they turned to keep running. He saw Remus grabbing Logan by the back of his shirt pulling him back to start running too. He would have laughed at the funny image, but there were more worrisome things going at the moment.

“You so owe me a blowjob after this, Logi.”

“Not the time, Remus.”

“OH, so there will be a time?”

“Can you horny bitches focus!?” yelled Remy. Thomas thanked him mentally, he didn’t need that image on his mind, perhaps he could put it here?

Another wall went up between them and the threatening frames, having got some distance thanks to Remus’s intervention. Everyone sighed in relief, running around was starting to tire them up. Well, everyone except Remus.

“So? What’s with this party and why wasn’t I invited? I know some cool party tricks.” he said, balancing his morning star on his nose. Some of the spikes pierced his skin and made him bleed. Thomas suddered, but also realized something.

“You saved us!” he exclaimed. Startling the Duke, making his weapon fall from its balancing position. He looked down at it with a pout, when he looked at Thomas his face was free from scratches. “Why did you save us?” The Duke only shrugged, picking at his nose. Patton scolded him.

“Of course he saved us.” answered Logan instead. Fixing his tie. “ We are all part of you, Thomas. As I have exhaustedly reminded you, we want what's best for you…”

“Hey bitch, can you make me a starbucks? I’m dying here.” Thomas heard Remy say, still processing Logan's words. He saw Remus appear what at first glance did look like a Starbucks coffee, but…

“Eugh, are those dicks?”

“Stardicks coffee, my own brand!”

“And it’s neon green because…?”

“It’s radioactive!”

“...In our own kind of way.”finished Logan, shaking his head. “Why are you here, Remus?”

“I knew Roman was here!” squealed the Duke. “For a while now, thought the kinky bastard was jerking off somewhere near, thought about giving him a scare you know?” he cackled, playing with his mustache. Patton made a face, Thomas frowned at the statement. There was something weird with it. Logan just nodded.

“You were worried about him then.” Remus screeched, making everyone flinch, but didn’t deny the statement. Thomas blinked.

“Oh my god, I completely misjudged you.”

“DON’T LISTEN TO THE NERDY WOLVERINE! HE DOESN’T KNOW WHAT HE’S TALKING ABOUT!”

“I always know what I’m talking about.” defended Logan.

“Infinitesimal.” grinned Remus.

“THAT WAS ONE TIME.”

Virgil was pacing. He wasn't panicking. He was living his best life. The floor wasn’t moving on its own and the room was definitely not getting smaller by the second.

He gasped for breath. He couldn’t breathe. If he couldn’t breathe he was going to die. He was dying. Wait, no, he couldn’t die, Logan had said so. Many times in fact. He couldn't die, but he was going to be feeling like this forever because he didn’t need oxygen. He was going to be drowning forever. No. Focus. He had to focus. Logan. Oh god, where was Logan? No, what did Logan say? The five things, five things he could see.

“Blue frames, red frames…” where the hell had Roman go? “Orange frames, green frames, yellow, yellow…”

He curled up against the wall, sitting on the floor and hugging his legs.

“I can feel the wall, I can feel my clothes, I…”

Everything started to shake again, making the colorful frames shake where they were hanging until eventually they started falling. He unthinkingly catched one.

It was green.

in general, hell no LOL it’s actually helped me cope through trauma and depression so it’s one of best hobbies and i’d like to keep it around as long as possible—HOWEVERRR i do think i won’t write fanfiction forever, which is why i deleted the really short and (personally) cringy or hated works because if i’m to stop eventually i want to leave behind the ones i’m real proud of like inerrata or yearning man (could list all of my favs actually) because in writing them i literally used a piece of my soul and past to shape the lesson i wanted to have people read, whether i was the only one who got it or not. so really, maybe in the future i might ever get the urge to write an actual book but i don’t see myself quitting any time soon, just maybe the occasional break (like rn :’)) for burnout. however i am active and might post things on ao3 first or only on there sometimes like series because unless you’re already big they do NOT do well on here LOL

24. How much prep work do you put into your stories? What does that look like for you? Do you enjoy this part or do you just want to get on with it?

so if you’ve ever seen the show bones. i’m brennan if she was just averagely smart LOL yes i study everything to understand even if only the basics because sometimes underlying plot or details are what drives my story. researched for a week on the five stages of grief just to see how it manifested in different temperaments and environments and in another wip i studied engineering basics because it was the driving force or that fic’s reader’s struggle and upcoming. it mostly looks like slouching over my laptop with a thick ass notebooks making rushed notes and ending up drying my pens in the process LOL i do enjoy it but i do NOT enjoy the having ti but pens every month or so :’) it’s mostly the drive for knowledge for me because i already live learning in general. if given a timespan i think it takes about a week of searching before even writing out anything

Twst headcanons part 2, again by yours truly but now with more projecting onto idia

-ace knows how to lockpick and tries to be mysterious and cool about why he has that particular skill but actually he just learned it from whatever version of YouTu be twst has

-Jack wears shorts in winter, and he keeps saying he's not cold even tho u can see his goosebumps

-Floyd always has cold sweaty palms

-Vil's cheeks will naturally turn red in the evening or when he's tired and he's really insecure about it. Throughout the day he'll often check if he hasn't turned into a tomato/press cold objects against his face when nobody is looking

-idia has like a super popular 600 k words fic on ao3 that he wrote when he was 13 and never finished, and he still gets comments on jt. It is shameless self-insert starring his favourite character as the protagonist basically living out his dream life and was a major outlet for all the grief he was experiencing and a fair bit of teen angst. He hasn't updated it in years and stopped writing during the big conclusion of the arc, and still feels shame for not finishing it. Still he can't bear to go back to the fic

-Lilia is the sort of person you pass everywhere but is nowhere to be found when you actually need him for smt. Like he'll be in places where he doesn't need to be but when you're doing a group project with him you literally cannot find him

-lilia also LOVESSS correcting teachers/store employees, he gets such a rush out of it. Like he'll ask things just to correct people. Silver feels so bad for the poor person on the receiving end and always whispers an apology

-cater knows too many old tumblr memes, he uses "It's fucking wimdy" daily and it drives riddle insane. Definitely someone to overuse memes in general.

-idia has a love hate relationship with dating simulators cuz he hates picking wrong dialogue options. The embarrassment is too much for him. This is why he can't stand most dramas. Plots that center around misunderstandings and shit just make him cringe so hard he covers his ears not to hear the dialogue

im going to be honest at this point I'm terrified of mentioning any fics to twitter. I recommended a fic which has c!beeduo in it but their relationship is ambiguous I think and I didnt even recommend it because of c!beeduo but right now i'm scared someone's gonna find something they dont like, decide it breaks boundaries and then chuck me in a callout post, along with knifetrick screenshots from last year. I was so sure the fic would be okay to recommend because I was so sure a good part of c!beeduo people on twitter at least viewed them as ambiguous but right now twitter's going after c!beeduo fans for literally any form of affection between c!beeduo and im just so confused I have no idea anymore. Surely you don't have to /p everything about two married characters?

Honestly? Very few people who main cbeeduo seem to be uncomfortable by the fic - most of the ppl I saw criticizing it and its art were from other sides of dsmptwt. Even then ambiguous/affectionate cbeeduo is still kind of a wild card on whether or not you get mass qrt'd...and that also highly depends on how many followers you have (small sized accs usually go unnoticed. Ppl are too scared of mass qrting big accs. So medium sized accs are more suceptible to harrassment of this sort) and the kind of audience that follows you...if you're followed by several different subtwts things could go south very quickly. Also people who frequent tumblr seem to not give much of a shit either.

Idk. Also I think a big issue is how ppl will tag as platonic when it's ambiguous or even threading into /r territory people go into the fic with a certain expectation and when it isn't how they expected they get Deeply Uncomfortable. Unfortunately there's no qpr/ambiguous specific relationship tag on AO3 (i know @/timedeo came up with one for a mcyt-specific fanfic archiving site and I wish it was real for AO3) and tagging things with a / will 100% drive people away from the fic bc of the kind of shit that goes in that tag...once again it's all a problem that stems from AO3's tagging.

I'll be honest. I'm not upset at people who do feel uncomfortable by it. Because it's ok it's understandable. But it becomes an issue when you make it other people's problem.
