I saw your recent post of jack and ralph’s dads. I believe it’s implying you ship them, so that would make jack and ralph step brothers + you ship jalph. so I guess it’s just… weird and can be seen as incest. do you mind providing an explanation?

i ship ralph and jacks dad exclusively when they are 20-25 (and in the army!) from there, jacks dad causes the death of both roger’s father and samneric’s father. kind of indirectly, but he is the general major and sends roger’s dad to his death because he had a hunch the mission would be fatal and didn’t want to leave his own children without a dad. ralph’s dad never forgives him for this because he knows what he did and how he did it and thus they grow far apart and never see each other again. ralphs dad also promises himself that he will continue to despise jacks dad for what he did as he has taken innocent lives and the blood is on his hands. they never get together officially and are never in contact once jack and ralph are past the ages of like 3-4. they are NEVER step brothers and never will be in any au i have because of this hatred. in non canon compliant aus ralphs dad actually feeds ralphs hate for the merridew family because of his own perception of them! eventually, obviously bcs i do ship jalph, ralph overcomes the hatred of the family but his father never can because he will always see jacks dad as a killer of people he called his friends.

it’s also important to mention that jacks dad and ralphs dad never had their kids meet until they went to school together. so they literally did not know each other while their dads did!

tl;dr: ralphs dad and jacks dad never get together, thus never causing them to be step brothers in any way, because jacks dad is an ass

Barbara is facepalming about all the nonsense that's about to pop off that inevitably she's gonna have to clean up. Bruce just starts sweating profusely and desperately trying to talk Dick down because he suddenly remembers that time Dick kicked a criminal so hard they ended up in a coma for a week and smiled so brightly while doing it that the other goons there at the time just chose to jump off a three story building into the suspect sludge that filled Gotham harbor rather than face the unhinged ten year old on bright colors and pixie boots.
