sleepy spring mornings featuring choi yeonjun

hot.

was the only thought going through your still half-asleep brain as you struggled to blink open your eyes.

it’s so fucking hot.

once you were kinda awake, with open blinking eyes you regarded what the hell was making you so hot. bright washington sun crept through the curtains, sweeping the tranquil hotel room in a beautiful light.

looking to your right, you found the heat source, the culprit.

choi yeonjun, your boyfriend, sleeping ever so peacefully nuzzled into your side, brown hair messy and tussled with sleep, his arm thrown lazily over your stomach, keeping you close to him and his goddamn furnace of a body, his leg draped and entangled with yours under the sheets.

looking at him, seeing his breath rise and fall softly, the pout that seemed to always be on his lips jutting out, you couldn’t help but smile.

it was rare to see him like this, be with him like this, and instead of running away from his heat you brought him closer, wrapping your arms around him as he nuzzled closer to you, burying his face into your neck, his soft breath tickling you.

you brought your hand up to his messy head, smoothing the brown down and running your fingers through it, scratching his head lightly. he exhaled happily and, still seeming to be asleep, moved a little bit so you could see his face.

you felt like the grinch seeing him like this, your heart growing 3 sizes bigger at the sight of yeonjun.

you watched him breathe in and out, softly tracing his perfectly shaped face with your finger. across his brow bone, down his perfect sloped nose, softly grazing his cute little cupids bow, tapping his perfect pout ever so softly.

maybe it was the early morning making you feel your emotions even more so, but seeing him sleeping peacefully, cuddled up to you, lit up by the morning sun, you felt as if you might cry.

dating yeonjun wasn’t the easiest thing all the time, his schedule insanely demanding, your college classes challenging, and sometimes it was hard to just get a 15 minute facetime call these days. which is why you jumped at the opportunity to go with him on tour, seeing him on stage with his members, in what was his happiest element, made you happy even more so.

you were suddenly brought out of your thoughts with a sigh and a stir, yeonjun seeming to be waking up next to you.

cute.

was the only word that could fit this situation. you’d seen it before, sparingly, but yeonjun waking up was the cutest goddamn thing you think you’ve ever seen in your life. a small frown on his face, hair messy but somehow still perfect, eyes still closed, nose scrunched up, the pout on his lips jutting out even more so that you felt the intense urge to kiss it.

you leaned into him, feeling his breath on yours, and placed the smallest, sweetest ghost of a kiss on his perfectly parted lips.

you pulled back, hand still in his hair, smile on your face. looking at him in this light it was insane how someone so perfect could just be walking around on this earth, even more insane that you got to be with him like this and share these moments with him.

“whyd youstop,” a small, deep mumble fell out of yeonjuns perfect lips and into the room.

you scratched his head lightly again, seeing his eyes were still closed, ignoring the fact that his morning voice was somehow deeper than how he normally sounded and it was driving you crazy.

you giggled at him, his little glare on his face over the fact that you simply didn’t kiss him longer.

“i like when you kiss me,” he mumbled again, you caught sight of his ears turning a little red and he buried himself into your neck again out of embarrassment.

you laughed then, a soft real laugh, pulling him even closer to you, wanting to feel his warmth now.

“oh my god you’re literally the cutest person alive, did you know that?” you gushed over him.

you could feel his face growing hotter with the praise and he shook his head, “nuh uh, it’s you.”

you laughed again, “oh my god you’re such a baby.”

yeonjun, finally seeming fully awake, lifted his head at that, pulling his body weight and resting on one of his arms so he wasn’t on top of you anymore, rather, laying on his side regarding you.

you suddenly felt hot again, not from the temperature. it was still crazy to you how yeonjun could go from being the cutest thing alive to staring at you like he was literally going to eat you.

yeonjun smirked, he always thought it was funny how he still made you nervous.

he decided he was done teasing you and suddenly wrapped his arms around you, rolling onto his back and laying you on top of him.

“did you sleep okay?” he asked, his voice soft with adoration but still octaves deep with sleep.

you nodded, feeling shy under his gaze, which he noticed and made him smile up at you, “the only thing is that you’re a fucking furnace, choi,” you pretended to be mad, “i feel like i’m gonna wake up sweating because you’re so hot.”

he laughed, a gorgeous, loud laugh that made butterflies settle in your stomach, and wiggled his eyebrows, “i know, right.”

you rolled your eyes, “you’re stupid.”

he grinned, his eyes practically disappearing with his giant smile, and whispered, “you love it.”

he moved his head forward and captured your lips with his, you practically melting into the soft kiss.

kissing yeonjun always had your head spinning, his lips always warm against yours, making you feel safe and making the butterflies in your stomach go crazy.

he pulled away, admiring that spaced-out look you always got when he kissed you, no matter if it was soft and sweet like this one or rough and full of want.

he pulled you closer to his chest, your head laying on top of his heart, listening to the beating.

you both stayed like that in contentment for who knows how long, yeonjun breaking the silence with a small whisper, “i like having you here, like this, with me.”

you smiled on his chest, listening to the soft thump thumping of his heart, “i like seeing you like this, and being here with you.”

yeonjun pressed a lingering kiss to your forehead, your eyes closing automatically and you hummed in response. the both of you finally sitting up and yeonjun grabbing his horn-rimmed glasses from the side table, placing them just on his nose, making him look somehow even more attractive, which you didn’t even know was possible.

he captured your eye contact, holding your hand, his thumb dancing over your skin, “i love you,” he said softly, a big dumb smile on his face.

a big dumb matching one on yours, “i love you, junnie. even if you feel like lava when you sleep.”

he rolled his eyes at that and released you, getting out of the warmth that was your shared bed and standing in front of you opening his phone.

you took the opportunity to ogle him, as any sane person would.

a shirtless yeonjun was a beautiful one, like yeonjun was all the time, but there was something else about him like this, grey sweatshorts (whore) riding low on his hips, honey-colored skin exposed and kissed by sunlight, making him glow, glasses perched on his nose, brown hair the most perfectly messy thing atop his head.

yeonjun didn’t look up, but felt your stare, smirking, “see something you like?”

you blushed, “no.”

he scoffed, shaking his head, “okay liar.”

you giggled, finally taking the opportunity to stretch when there was a soft knock at the door. both of you knowing it was probably staff (or beomgyu coming to bother).

yeonjun grabbed a navy blue botton up shirt and haphazardly pulled it over him, sadly coving up his golden skin, as he padded softly over to the door.

soft words were exchanged and the door closed and he turned with two starbucks cups, smiling at you,

“oh my god, yes,” you said, making grabby hands towards the cups which made yeonjun smile as he walked back over to you, stopping to grab his ipad from the bedside table.

he gave you your drink, the caffeine comforting you after just one sip as he settled back into the bed next to you.

he opened his ipad and pulled up youtube, looking for something to watch. when he made his pick, he rested it on his legs, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and bringing you close.

you rested your head on yeonjuns shoulder, holding your drink and smiling softly.

you looked up at him again, admiring his perfect side profile, and gave him a small kiss on his cheek, making him turn to face you, smile on his lips.

“what was that for?”

you shrugged, “just because.”

he grinned, glasses pushing up on his nose, and kissed your forehead again, all while snuggling you closer against him.

as the sun got brighter in the room, it danced over the white comforter, and lit up yeonjuns hands and coffee cup. it was warm and perfect, just like yeonjun himself.

yea user yawnzzn killed me today so i had to write about it this was not supposed to be this long & it is unedited i just needed to word vomit about him because OH MY GOD!!!

pairing. roommate!beomgyu x gn!reader synopsis. Deciding to finish the essay you were working on yesterday, your roomate beomgyu suddenly runs into your arms? genre. angst, mostly fluff! warnings. kisses a/n. miss me? 😙 it's been 7 months 😺 ha ha ha ha (soobin ver.)

As you diligently worked on your essay in the living room, Beomgyu surprised you by suddenly shutting your laptop and wrapping his arms around you. Bewildered, you questioned if everything was okay, but he remained silent. Sensing his deliberate avoidance, you reassured him with comforting headpats.

Beomgyu nestled against you, his arms wrapped tightly around you. His behavior was even stranger than usual, and though he didn't respond to your questions, you understood that he was intentionally ignoring them. Softly patting his head to provide reassurance, you felt both confused and deeply concerned for him.

With a quiet smile, Beomgyu leaned into the head pats. Though more lovingly than usual, he was beginning to revert to his previous state. He looked content and at ease.

"You can talk to me, gyu. I'm always here to listen."

Beomgyu leaned back and looked at you seriously. He hesitated before responding, and instead, he pulled you closer to him.

"Gyu, I still need to do my essay, you know."

Beomgyu frowned and appeared reluctant to let you continue working. With a sigh, he continued cuddling you and pleaded, "Please, don't work now. Just cuddle with me for a bit longer."

Sensing the way his face darkened, you decided to let him seek comfort in your embrace.

Beomgyu smiled and pulled you even closer, nuzzling his face into your neck as he closed his eyes.

"What's wrong?" you asked, as Beomgyu continued to hold you tightly. He appeared somewhat guilty as he sighed softly.

"It's nothing... I just missed you," he murmured softly, pulling you even closer. His level of affection was unprecedented, something he had never done before.

"Are you sure you're okay? You've never been this... vulnerable with me," you cautiously inquired.

Beomgyu sighed softly, that's when you noticed his red eyes and tired expression. Something must be wrong.

"You're the only one I can be vulnerable with, y/n," Beomgyu whispered tenderly, leaning in closer.

Your heart skipped a beat. What did he just say?

Beomgyu looked embarrassed, averting his gaze.

"I like you," he whispered, feeling somewhat guilty. You could feel his blush under your hands. He had never been this vulnerable with you before.

"Like, romantically," he clarified, realizing the significance of his confession.

You looked at him with shock for a moment; his words made your heart flutter.

"I like you too, gyu," you said softly.

Beomgyu's eyes widened, surprise evident on his face. His cheeks reddened, and he was momentarily speechless.

"Really...?" his voice regained its soft, sweet tone. He didn't know how to react, but he was undeniably happy. He stared at you for a moment before leaning in to give you a small, sweet kiss on your cheek.

"Why didn't we date sooner? I could've gotten kisses like this from you."

With a smile on his face and a comforting expression, Beomgyu rested his head on yours. He cuddled up against you and chuckled.

"I don't know, y/n," he whispered softly, still smiling. "I guess I was just so scared of ruining what we already have, and I really didn't want to lose you." His tone was gentle, and his voice exuded warmth.

"I'm glad I gave in... because now I have you all to myself." He placed another affectionate kiss on your cheek. "All yours, Choi Beomgyu" you laughed and gave him a quick peck on the nose in response.

Beomgyu smiled, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you into a loving and sweet hug. His lips brushed against your neck, sending a delightful tingle throughout your body. His touch was warm and gentle, making you feel secure and at ease. In a soft and romantic tone, he whispered once more.

"You're mine, y/n" He smiled gently, his voice full of sweetness and heart eyes just for you.

out & about featuring choi yeonjun

“yeonjun oh my god you’re gonna kill me!!” you clutched your side, out of pain and laughter, as yeonjun just laughed and continued pulling you down the street by your hand, not worried at all about the crazed looks the pair of you were getting as you ran down the busy street.

“you’re no fun y/n!” he laughed again, looking at you over his shoulder with a huge smile.

as you made eye contact with your boyfriend you felt like you had the wind knocked out of you, and not because of the running.

something you never think you would be able to get used to was how beautiful yeonjun was, in every single situation. he was beautiful waking up in the morning, he was so beautiful on stage, and he was beautiful now, running down the street with you with happy laughter trailing behind you guys.

the black beanie covering his messy brown hair was pulled low, covering his ears, but his eyes sparkled at you like they held the stars in them. his perfect pout upturned in a gorgeous, toothy smile, just happiness shown on his face.

“jun, i just don’t get why we have to run!” you breathed, trying to keep up with your boyfriend whose legs were much, much longer.

he laughed again, “we don’t want anyone to recognize me!”

you couldn’t help but roll your eyes, “wouldn’t it make more sense if you were recognized for being a crazy person running down the street?!”

you could see yeonjun stop and consider this, seeing the cogs turn in his brain before he breathed a small, “oh shit, yea.”

you giggled at him as you guys finally stopped running, thank god. yeonjun not letting go of your hand and falling in stride next to you as you caught your breath.

looking up at him, you wondered how in the hell was he not tired at all, when you decided to take a minute to admire your boyfriend.

the sky was a gorgeous bright cobalt blue, the sun had set already but it had left the sky still bright and beautiful. it outlined yeonjuns body, lighting up his perfect side profile, it was just so insane that someone that beautiful could just be here on this street, walking on the earth.

yeonjun, turning down to look at you, made your heart thump as you remembered that you were right here next to him, getting to experience life and love with this gorgeous man. nothing was ever normal with him, and you both loved that.

it was moments like this, running down foreign streets, sleeping on each other during 14-hour long plane rides, sneaking kisses backstage before he would preform, loud, happy game nights with the members with you tucked into yeonjuns side, moments like this were the ones that made you the happiest.

you both stopped in the street, on what seemed like a bridge, yeonjun tucking you into his side, his arm wrapped around your shoulder as you leaned into him, his everlasting warmth.

you looked up at the big beautiful blue sky again, “the sky is so pretty.”

but yeonjun, as always, was only looking at you, “you’re prettier.”

you scrunched your nose, butterflies starting up in your stomach, turning to look up at your smiling boyfriend, “that’s cheesy, choi.”

he smiled, eyes crinkling, “you make me cheesy.”

you rolled your eyes at that, snuggling deeper into yeonjuns embrace, sighing out of contentment.

yeonjun leaned down to press a soft, loving kiss onto your forehead, pulling away and whispering softly, “this is so special to me you know. you’re so special to me.”

warmth spread across your whole body as you smiled, pushing onto your toes to press a kiss back onto yeonjuns cheek, leaving him smiling stupidly, “everything with you is special to me, choi.”

he smiled the prettiest smile, pulling you even closer, resting his chin on top of your head, looking up at that big beautiful sky, that matched your big beautiful feelings for each other.

a/n: I got inspo to write this when dates dropped for the tour! i am not officialy in posession of a pre-sale code and im hoping to get some good tickets!! i will come back with an update (LA moa's lets talk :) anyways, please enjoy! this piece was meant to be really sweet and even silly at times so please let me know what you think of it! as always, inbox is open.

at a fancy dinner

yeonjun is really excited when it comes to fancy, romantic outings but this one was going to be the best one of all. Of course, that’s because of his proposal plans. He is definitely the kind of guy that sort of spoils it or gives hints because he tells you to go out and get your nails, hair, etc… done. especially emphasizes getting your nails done. He covers it up by saying he loves seeing you all pretty and pampered but deep down, you sort of know what he’s hinting at. Anyways, moving on to dinner. He takes you to a fancy new restaurant that just opened in the city. It was on the top floor of some fancy building. There was a view of the city from where you both were seated at a small booth. He was sitting right next to you and talking your ear off about the day he’d had at work. He didn;t even drink, opting to let you order a drink so he can drive home. He buys you whatever you want to eat and watches you enjoy your food with those adorable, lovesick eyes. You whine at him to stop watching you but he says he can’t help but watch the love of his life. Eventually, he takes you out onto the patio of this restaurant and it was pretty empty since there were only a few more couples around. He takes in the view with you and asks you to take a cute video with him. He sets up his phone at a good angle and presses the record. He goes back to you and kisses your cheek. He takes your distraction as an opportunity to pull the ring out of his pants pocket and when he pulls away, he gets down on one knee and proposes. “Will you do me the biggest favor ever and be my Mrs. Choi?”

at home

Soobin was never one for big romantic gestures and he was happy that you were okay with it. His ideal date was at home, snuggled up on the couch or in a pillow fort, watching movies or playing video games together. sure, he did take you on little outings once in a while but he preferred staying home. When it came to his proposal plans, his logic was to stay home, plan and cook a little dinner and use all the extra money to buy you the prettiest ring he could find. He loved the whole ring shopping process “i know this probably isn't from some of the members. anyways, he tells you of his date plans for the night and you were into it. He tells you to dress normally with one of his hoodies and your favorite sweatpants or leggings (soobin loves your legs in leggings btw. he said so). you come in and he is dressed relaxed as well in those gray sweats you liked and a t-shirt you gave him as part of his birthday gift. He serves your dinners and then he takes you to his bed, getting comfortable together. after one episode of that new anime the both of you had started, he turns over to get something from his nightstand. he shuffles to sit on his knees and reveals the box to you, opening it shortly after. "i know this probably isn't the best proposal but we’ve had such a nice night. I love spending time at home with you. can we be homebodies together, forever?'' You nod and hug him super tight and he returns the hog. He gives you a sweet kiss after putting the ring on your finger and you two go back to watching your show and cuddling.

theme / amusement park

This man is so cute when it comes to a proposal. Let’s just say for the sake of this story that he takes you on an LA trip and you both have a knotts berry farm day! You two decided to skip out on disney because you two have already been together on a previous trip. You both also really wanted to see all of the snoopy memorabilia. You both have an amazing day getting on rides, drinking boysenberry juice and talking to each other the whole time. He loves seeing you so happy so he never says no to you not once that whole day. He lets you drag him to all of the performances happening at the park and even lets you take a picture of him with Snoopy, making finger guns at one another. As the day starts to wind down, you both decided to go souvenir shopping. Huening specifically requested a snoopy t-shirt so you both went to find him one. Beomgyu asks you to pick the t-shirt and he stays behind to find a snoopy plush to include in his proposal. He finds one and pays for it, as well as the requested souvenir you picked. He takes you back out to the park and you both take a seat to rest for a while before leaving the park. You take out your phone and dont notice when he turns around. He takes the plush out of the store bag and the ring out of his bag. He puts it in the plushies hand and turns back around. He taps your shoulder and you are met with a snoopy with an engagement ring in his hand. “Will you marry me, pretty lady?” he says in a high pitched voice and you gasp so loud that people turn around to look. You are absolutely red but you nod and beomgyu makes the plush put the ring on your finger. You call him a dork but he doesn't mind. He's your dork, forever.

taehyun

at the beach

you and taehyun went to the beach often. it was always so quiet, especially when you two visited at night. These outings were frequent, especially when you both went to travel somewhere different. In this case though, you were both home in Korean. Taehyun was on a small break during the summer time before their next tour and he decided that now was as good as ever to propose. He drove the both of you to your favorite beach at around 8pm. On the way there, you both made stops to get dinner and then to pick up some snacks to enjoy while hanging out at the beach. Once you both get there, Taehyun sets up your beach blanket and you both sit down, starting to snack on some grapes. Taehyun took about 30 minutes before he decided to ask you. He scoots close to you and pulls the little box out of his bag. you give him a confused look and he opens it, looking at your shocked reaction. He wanted to give a whole speech but his words got stuck in his throat when he saw your reaction. you say yes to him and he hugs you, slipping the ring on after.

huening kai

in your hometown / family dinner

I think kai is really big when it comes to family so having your family present for such a big event was important for him. Not only that, it was also really important for him to get along with your family and have their approval. So, during this trip to your hometown over a winter break, he sends you off to go shopping with your close cousin/sibling. He takes this opportunity to gather the rest of your family and ask for their approval to propose to you and of course they say yes! They even help him plan a whole thing. They were excited to see that he loved you a lot and cared enough to ask for their opinions and approval. This especially swayed your parents, who came up to him after and had a little chat with him about what they’d do if he ever hurt you. Moving on….you come back home from shopping and you show kai all your finds! Later on that night, your family is all gathered together in the backyard around a bonfire, having drinks and chatting. After a little while, your family gives kai strange looks and you’re sitting there absolutely confused. Kai looked over at you and smiled, “hey baby. I wanna ask you something. Will you do me a big honor and marry me?” he pulls out the ring and as soon as you say yes, he slips it on your finger and everyone cheers!
