Twisted Wonderland Personality Swap AU

Thanks so much for the support on my previous posts, it really means a lot to me. Because of that, I've decided to continue writing for this AU and keep you all updated! I'll also be using this post to answer some of your questions. (In this AU the Housewardens and Vice-Housewardens switched personalities)

I went ahead and made some doodles for Ruggie, Leona, Jamil and Kalim (Ruggie with Leona's eyes scares me tbh)

Questions/explanations/clarifications:

-I didn't change the characters' backstories (unless specifically stated). Riddle still has a horrible mom, Trey's family still owns a bakery, Leona is still second prince, Ruggie is still dirt-poor, etc.

-What changed is how the characters reacted to their respective trauma I guess, which resulted in their personalities changing.

-Their personalities are not exact copies of eachother. For example, Riddle isn't just Trey but with red hair. He's very similar to Trey, yes, but they have a few differences in their personalities too.

-I'll explain how the characters became the way they are over time. Plus, it's also fun to think about it yourself, right?

-I've already worked out Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle and Scarabia.

-I'm planning on doing every dorm, but I play on the English server so I haven't finished book 6 yet.

-Yes, I'm planning on having the Vices + Kalim overblot, and to do that I'll be using their already canonically established backstories.

-I am NOT a professional artist, nor do I have ANY experience with drawing comics, but just know that I'm passionate about this little project and will work hard to make it as good as possible.

-I'm busy with school (I'm busy in general lol), so I don't have a lot of time to work on this AU- I've been sick for the past 4 days, which is why I could post so much.

-If you have literally any questions, just ask. I love to read you guys' reactions!

Characters:

Jamil wears his hair in a loose braid in this AU, since I don't think he has the patience to braid his hair the way he originally does and his hair is kinda connected to his personality. Jamil is much more optimistic and positive, and he's always supportive. People seem to naturally like him, which annoys Kalim. Jamil always tries to look at things from a positive perspective, trying to make the best out of his situation, though it's not that bad for him, because Jamil genuinely thinks that Kalim is amazing. When he got an invitation to NRC he INSISTED that Kalim come as well. Jamil always wants to throw feasts, and if his master allows it, he'll disappear in the kitchen to cook enough food to feed 3 entire dorms for a week. Jamil frequently tries to get Kalim to relax, because he just wants him to be happy, but Kalim then reminds him that they're at NRC to study. (I already talked about Kalim in a previous post but I'll copy paste it here too)

In this AU, Kalim is much stricter, much more focused and MUCH more responsible. He studies rigorously and insisted on actually working hard to earn his position as Housewarden instead of his family buying the position for him. He’s very sharp, quite intelligent, and is annoyed by his naïve servant and his carefree attitude, who keeps following him around.

Leona is a menace, playful, optimistic and cunning, but he also puts a lot of work into his dorm and school. He knows he has to work had to achieve his goals and he knows that he has a lot of responsibilities. He values hard work.

Ruggie is the complete opposite to Leona though. He is lazy, quick to irritate, and forces lower-classmen to do his work for him because he just wants to sleep. Ruggie is a terrible student, never showing up for class or duties and never putting in any effort. He feels like no matter what he does or how hard he works, he'll never make any changes and his life won't ever get better anyways, especially with a high-and-mighty prince as his Housewarden. He thinks that nothing he does is of any use , so why bother at all, right?

—synopsis: where genshin boys try pulling for you in your banner! (+ a bonus hc)

—highlights: ayato, childe, albedo, itto

—word count total: 1.4k (1,425)

—notes: fluff & crack, ooc (ig?), genshin swap au (you're in your fav's place. is the au right?), everyone gets u in the end, no proofread and v short bc i forgot how to write :(

—rimi's letter: rimi's revival arc part ii: the electric boogaloo ( also trying out to write for genshin! not sure how this'll be received so it's v short !! :'> ) on the side note... i might end up writing for twst and tokyorev but that's just a thought for now...

AYATO

ღ was hardworking enough to have the exact primos to reach hard pity, and was lucky enough to win the 50/50 while pulling for you. he supposes in a way, it's his hard work being rewarded, and he probably would've sulked internally if he had lost the 50/50 ngl. ayato's exact mindset is: "all or nothing for the head of the (surname) clan."

ღ ayato was already really interested in your character despite your previous content being solely speculation and your mentions in game are sparse. appreciates all the fan theories about your personality, composition role, gameplay, and whatnot. an especially fine appreciator of the written works about you (probably spent a day looking through fanfiction, "how curious.") it's your mystery that drew him in.

ღ the day you got announced as an upcoming character, he was ready. the day he was about to pull, he bought boba tea just to aid him in pulling (and also because he's craving it). takes small sips in between every ten pull and eventually chokes on his drink once he saw the gold. thoma and ayaka were concerned.

ღ sparkles in his eyes the moment he saw your silhouette, "thoma! ayaka! (name) came home!" it's the first time ayato dedicated time and effort into grinding since he's a casual player. it's also the first time he was genuinely interested in pulling for a five star, so the older kamisato sibling is beyond elated. he was also tempted to pull for your constellations but decided against it.

ღ BONUS: he accidentally pulled your weapon while he was at the mall. he wasn't expecting it, and was just intended on spending the remainder of his primos. screamed for the fraction of a second before covering his mouth to save face and started shaking. poor thoma thought something happened to his friend only to see ayato shoving his phone's screen up his face.

CHILDE

ღ a poor unfortunate soul who didn't win your 50/50 the first time he rolled. and it didn't help that he wished literally minutes before your first banner ended (and when he wasn't as deep into the game's storyline yet - which could be the mondstadt archon quest at best).

ღ he wasn't all too bothered that you didn't come home during your original banner because he was too preoccupied with his work and not too invested in the story to actually experience emotional damage... "well, they're the 11th fatui harbinger, so what is the hype? there's 10 more!" he really went on his merry way thinking he could just save up for other characters. yeah he regrets thinking that way after reading the archon quest and your story quest-

ღ found himself really fond of your character, especially with your dynamic with your little sibling! it reminds him a lot of him and teucer <3 he also thinks you're cool yet endearing in general, so best know he's not taking any chances after hearing you're getting a rerun. he happened to not save enough primos for a guarantee (again) so he decides to bring out the wallet if and only if necessary. you know... just so he can see one "(name) ✩✩✩✩✩" appear on his screen.

ღ i'm kidding, do you really think he'll stop at just one copy of you? no. this man is down horrendously bad for you. he wouldn't stop until his gaming fees are milked dry. what a responsible spender. his funds could only get him to your second constellation, but he's rather lucky with artifact rolls so you still dish out big damage no matter what. childe also thinks your 2nd constellation helps a lot in general so he's fine for the meantime! that doesn't stop him rolling soon though-

ღ BONUS: your character became something of a hot topic/meme for quite a while in the community and he was partially at fault for it. he causes chaos when entering co-op by (un)intentionally being flirty and boss-rushing while using you. someone managed to record a tiktok video of his shenanigans, and others who main you started copying him.

ALBEDO

ღ the most strategic among the bunch, in the sense that he doesn't pull unless he really likes the character and that he doesn't believe in pity-building. albedo didn't have to spend a single drop of money from his wallet for his account and for him to get you, the ever-intriguing chief alchemist. a man of true dedication and restraint right here, folks.

ღ albedo took interest in you and hyperfixated on all the many theories surrounding around your character. in a way, he wants to know what goes through your mind and what the psychology behind your thinking is. he gladly studies with interest all the long theory essays regarding your contributions to the plot, your possible future actions, the symbolisms, and what led you to certain points.

ღ he was so confident that he had enough to guarantee you since he didn't pull before your banner. at all. he started at the launch too. doesn't bat an eye when he lost the 50/50 because he had enough to get him another five star. in the rare chance his primogems were lacking, he could simply just grind the new event and finish a few quests. one way or another, you were home to him before the end of your banner and the science-major wasn't even a bit worried.

ღ the blond man makes you his main damage dealer no matter what the majority of the fandom says your team role is. it's both scary and amazing to see he has nearly all of the possible setups ready for you, so he can enter any kind of battle without having to swap you out. somehow manages to dish out large numbers too, so co-op doesn't have much of a problem if he brings you out to domains.

ღ BONUS: takes a whole lot of screenshots as long as he sees you come up on the screen. he also organizes and dedicated a whole folder in his gallery to you. definitely milks your events the most, though. he actually makes fanarts and redraws of several impactful scenes during the events and the fans eat it up. one of his prints even got the attention of your VA! (much to his surprise)

ITTO

ღ he's a free spender, the actual definition of 'i'll let RNG decide my fate'. itto loves all the characters in this silly little tormenting game, he can't possibly choose favorites! honestly doesn't mind whoever comes home to him, he'll just welcome the character with open arms and a big cheer before building them to the whole of his inventory and the best of his abilities.

ღ well, that was until he got to know your character. itto swears he loves all characters equally, but you? he loves your character just a bit more than the rest, don't tell the others though, it's both your little secret! he really loves your role as the head of a gang and how shockingly well it mends with your personality. really just thinks you'd be cool to vibe with, and can't help but look at you with sparkles in your eyes.

ღ itto probably didn't manage to save as much as the others, but he tried! somehow, by luck or maybe favor from the RNG gods, itto managed to get you after simply a single one pull. he definitely screamed in shock and started kicking his feet in glee as he pumped his fists up in joy, "yes yes yes! whoo! welcome home, (name)!"

ღ itto still had to wait for quite the time before getting to use you properly since, again, he doesn't necessarily save up and can't predict who he will and will not get. which meant that he didn't grind enough for you and he doesn't have decent artifacts saved for your character. it took him a hefty amount of grinding especially in domains to finally be able to use you, and he's super happy about it, like a child on christmas eve.

ღ BONUS: itto is the kind of guy who would bring you no matter what boss or domain he will be up against - both in co-op and in his actual gameplay. this does suggest the idea he does it even if your damage is immune to the boss... so does he do it? obviously. itto is another one who's down bad, so he only uses you in battle. ayato is the one who constantly suffers because of this whenever they co-op.

Ahhh thank you so much! Extremely happy to hear that!

I post everything there is to know about our AUs here and on twitter, but there isn’t much: these AUs aren’t as thought out as, for example, our shingeki AUs; this is why we don’t even tag them. It’s more like having concepts we play around with, with the stories still being vague and pliable in our heads, even though we do have rough directions for them. That’s why we don’t really write long posts and descriptions for our twst AUs. I guess, just dropping random scenes based on our discussions of these AUs with little to no context is too much fun lol

We’ll probably have more AUs, we really love creating them, but for now we’re too focused on consuming all the canon stuff (vignettes, events, etc). But still, these are the AUs that we have for now:

AzuIde Marriage AU. This is the one we post the most.

Azul and Idia get married for convenience, and this marriage is indeed very convenient for both of them: Azul gets all the legal perks + a personal genius inventor who can easily bring him lots of profit; Idia gets to play videogames all day and not to do much else. He also doesn’t have to socialize at all: Azul does all the socializing for him, making presentations, networking, getting investors and such.

They’re amazed by how perfect their marriage turned out to be: both of them are very happy. Idia’s life is stress-free for once; he has all the time in the world for himself and indulges in games heavily, not worrying about having to communicate with anyone other than Ortho and his gaming buddy. Azul is doing his own thing, spending all days working, talking to rich people, doing shady stuff, expanding, expanding and expanding his business franchises. But the thing is, by enabling each other to live in this self-indulgent comfort zone and giving each other “that one thing that he craves”, they make each other the worst version of themselves. Idia becomes even more of a hermit; Azul becomes even more obsessive and unhinged. This is why it’s a perfect marriage, but also a horrible one. It kind of depends on how you look at it, thus they are very happy in the funny strips, but the bad ending is still a thing that could happen. Actually, there could be more than one bad ending, some of them involve these two staying together lol

2. Prison AU. Pretty self-explanatory: some characters are the inmates, some characters are the guards. This AU kind of has multiple universes inside of it at this point lol, just because swapping characters’ roles is fun. The main “route” is inmate!Floyd/guard!Riddle though.

3. Catherine AU? Kind of. The one in which Idia takes the role of the main character of the said game (Vincent); Azul is his long-term boyfriend (Katherine) who wants him to get his shit together, find a better job, marry him and live together already; and Lilia is a mysterious cute-looking guy who seemingly just wants to be with Idia and have fun with him (Catherine). Hilarity ensues. I would’ve drawn more stuff for this AU if we remembered the game better, but still.

Notes/Thoughts:

I didn’t think I’d make the illusts of their deaths be so detailed, starting from Rook’s— so I think I’ll redraw burning Epel.

I’m also planning to make a masterlist for this AU so there’s easy navigation for content— but I wanna make a personal banner for it…

The faux game format thing for the texts were experimental, not sure if I should keep it- I really wanted the RPG vibe-

au in which octavinelle and pomefiore were in the opposite dorm ft. octavinelle and pomefiore

╰┈➤ 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: first day of twst mermay! i posted this at midnight of may 2, but it’s okay, it’s may 1 in the rest of the world. xD i was heavily invested in this au for the whole day. it was really interesting to think about how the characters’ personalities could be slightly altered so that the mirror would sort them into different dorms. with that, i hope this would be an enjoyable read~! ╰┈➤ 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐨: mermay masterlist

“And check.” With a flick of a pen, Azul drew a check mark in thin but dark lavender ink. A proud smile grew on his face as he faced the student in front of him, whose grin could almost stretch out of his face. “An amazing job, Deuce Spade! You have improved significantly since our first session.”

“T…” Deuce’s eyes and lips almost quivered, as if about to cry from sheer joy. “Thank you, sir!”

“Please, you may simply call me Azul,” he answered with a small chuckle. “And keep it down.”

“M-my apologies, sir!” The first year bowed from his seat. “Uh, I mean, Azul…”

He shook his head in bemusement. “It’s 5:30pm, so our session ends here. Thank you for coming here.”

“Thank you so much, si— Azul,” Deuce exclaimed, standing up from the plush couch of the Pomefiore lounge. “I’ll be sure to ace tomorrow’s exam thanks to your teachings!”

“I’m sure you will,” Azul smiled. “But don’t forget your payment as well, alright?”

“Of course. What do you need me to buy next?”

“There is the upcoming 11/11 sale in the campus store in a few days,” the dorm leader said, pulling out a long piece of paper from his pocket and handing it to Deuce. “Purchase these items on this list, and that will be counted as your payment.”

The first year examined the list, wincing at the amount of items for a moment before shaking his head and giving him a determined nod. “Understood, sir!”

Azul decided to ignore the honorific. “Good. You may go now, Deuce.”

He remained on his sofa as Deuce waved goodbye and walked out of the Pomefiore lounge. As he let out an exhausted sigh, shoes tapping on marble floors echoed in the grandiose ivory halls outside the room. Clearly, two people were walking towards the lounge, with one pair of footsteps making a steady moderate rhythm while the other pair of footsteps sounded more spontaneous. He knew both rhythms all too well.

“Have you finished your last study session, Azul?” Jade, clad in Pomefiore’s blue robes, entered the threshold of the lounge, wearing his typical honeyed smile. Beside him was his twin brother Floyd, who sported the same robes as he did except the top button was unbuttoned, and the gloves were absent.

“Yes.” Immediately, Azul stood up. His own robes cascaded down to his ankles, a length much longer than any of the other robes the Pomefiore students wore— a sign of his dorm leader status. “I also managed to secure all items we may need from the upcoming sale. After all, Deuce Spade is formidable in the world of sales.”

“As expected of you, Azul,” Jade responded happily. “I never would have thought that Pomefiore would fit you, yet you exemplify the trait of perseverance as well as the Fairest Queen.”

“I still admire the Sea Witch more. but I find that she and the Fairest Queen have their similarities,” Azul answered, his eyes wandering to the wall clock. “Ah, I need to get ready. I have a short meeting with Vil at 6pm in the Octavinelle lounge.”

“Oh.” Jade’s eyes lit up in immediate understanding. “It is for that agreement you made with him last week, yes?”

“That’s right.”

“Ooh, sounds fun,” Floyd grinned. “I wanna come!”

“You may go, but you can’t sit in the conversation,” Azul said, preparing to exit the room.

“That’s fine, I don’t mind,” he said. “I just wanna explore Octavinelle.”

“Alright. Wait for me here, I’ll just retrieve the things I have to bring.” He faced his vice leader “Jade, watch the dorm while I’m gone.”

“Of course, Azul.”

Sitting on the pristine gray couch of Octavinelle, Vil Schoenheit held a drink in one hand, his lips encasing the tip of the drink’s straw. On his other hand was a phone that appeared to be of the latest model showing his reflection. Hair looked neat, makeup on point, pose appeared attractive, nothing out of place in his outfit… Everything was perfect.

3, 2, 1, click!

Vil put down the arm holding his phone, taking a sip of his drink as he clicked the Magicam app. A few taps, and the selfie he took was uploaded on his Magicam, with the caption: ‘A refreshing drink after work. #drinkafterbreak #fruitshakefromthetownofSage #allnatural’

“Ah, Roi du Poison, you are exquisite as always!” A blond boy wearing a feathered hat approached, his face beaming with pride. “I could cry from sheer joy seeing your newest post! Everlasting beauty paired with a generous heart to help small businesses grow… Octavinelle is proud to have such a dorm leader embodying the spirit of the Sea Witch!”

“You never run out of words, don’t you, Rook,” Vil chuckled in bemusement. “But of course. The mercy of the Sea Witch is something to admire as well. As someone with fame, I should help those less fortunate than I, don’t you think so?”

“Indeed,” he answered with a nod. “And that is what makes you most beautiful, Vil.”

And this is what will help me in becoming the fairest one of all, he thought to himself. Speaking of, Azul promised to give me potions to help me win against Neige.

“Vil, is there something on your mind?”

He blinked for a moment. “Ah, yes, I was just thinking of the meeting I have with Azul,” he said. “He’s supposed to arrive just about…” He glanced at his phone screen. “Just about now, actually.”

Right on cue, the characteristic sounds of Pomefiore’s boots reached his ears. The moment Azul and Floyd entered the Octavinelle lounge with a box in hand, several eyes turned to gaze at them. They may not match the beauty that Vil radiated, but they glowed enough to distract the crowd. Azul especially knew how to appeal to the eyes, from his make-up to his silhouette.

“Hello Vil,” he greeted as he neared the Octavinelle leader. “I apologize if I kept you waiting. Floyd also decided to come with me, but I told him to leave us alone.”

“Hey, Betta,” Floyd greeted, his voice carrying more lilt than Azul’s.

“Good to see you, Azul and Floyd,” Vil replied. “Don’t fret, I appreciate your promptness. And Rook, keep an eye out on the rest of the dorm. Make sure nobody minds our conversation.”

“Oui.” He nodded before leaving.

“Have a seat over here. You may place the box on the table.” Vil gestured Azul to the spot beside him and to the table where another box laid. Then he turned his head, momentarily looking around before his eyes found a freshman with pink hair watching them. “Epel! Kindly serve our guest some tea.”

“A-ah!” Epel jumped slightly in his place. “Coming right up, sir!”

“Now then…” Vil faced Azul the moment Epel left. “Let’s cut to the chase. What potions are you giving me?”

“These potions,” he gestured to the box, “are designed to enhance and alter your features, depending on the kind of look that you’re going for. Now I don't mean to insinuate in any way that you need these potions to become beautiful. You already are beholden for your beauty. But beauty standards and fashion trends do change, and to be the fairest of them all, it would be good for you to follow them.”

“Okay…” He nodded with a frown.

He opened the box, pulling out a bottle filled with a clear blue liquid. “For example, this potion can bring out your youthfulness. And then this,” he placed down the bottle and pulled out a red bottle, “can give you more effeminate features.”

Vil squinted at the potions skeptically. “I experimented with numerous recipes to create my line of skincare products, and I know about transformation potions. Yet, I have never heard of any potion that does such delicate work.”

“Well, I was able to give you a moisturizer that lasts for more than 13 hours, did I not,” Azul said. “I do not create flukes or fakes.”

“E-excuse me.” Epel’s voice interrupted the conversation. He set down two cups of tea gently though shakily. Behind him stood Rook. “Here’s your tea…”

“Thank you,” both dorm leaders said as they picked up their own cups. Epel and Rook walked away.

Vil took a sip of his tea, frowning at the taste. “I should make Epel review his lessons on brewing tea,” he commented quietly. With another sip, he stared at the potions one last time. It is true that Azul’s moisturizer works wonders, he thought. Not to mention that each student that asks him for help in studies always comes out with higher grades, and I see how well he brings out the best in others. Perhaps…

“It is as you say,” he answered. “Very well, I shall take these. And in return…” He picked up the other box from the table and handed it to the other dorm leader. “Here are my skincare products, as you requested.”

“Thank you,” Azul said with a grateful smile as he took the box. “I’m glad to have made this exchange with you.”

“Man, Octavinelle really looks awesome,” Floyd remarked as he and Azul exited the mirror. “Kinda wish I was sorted in there.”

“It would have been nice, yes,” Azul said with a smile. “I love the look of the uniforms. Their cummerbund and black jacket would give me a good-looking silhouette.”

“Sheesh, you really should chill a bit about that, y’know?”

There was nothing else said as they entered Pomefiore’s mirror, their feet landing on the familiar white brick path. The courtyard is void of students except for themselves. Mealtime is approaching, after all, and Pomefiore strictly eats at 6:30pm.

“Hey,” Floyd spoke up in the silence, “can I ask something about the exchange you made with Vil?”

“You can, but whether or not I’ll answer depends.”

“Why’d you give Betta confident booster potions?”

Azul paused in his footsteps and faced him with a surprised look. “How did you know?”

“Duh, I’ve seen you make those before,” Floyd answered with a nonchalant shrug. “But anyway, answer the question.”

He sighed, adjusting the crown on his head as he resumed walking. They were still alone.

“... I was once there,” he began, his voice more serious than usual. “I was on that path of vengeance to get back at the people who wronged me. You witnessed that time.”

“Mm.” Floyd simply nodded.

“I know that look of envy and frustration Vil sometimes wears,” Azul continued. “And every time I see it, I can’t help but feel some sort of pity because it reminds me of my own weakest moments.”

He paused, taking a breath as he felt the beginnings of a lump in his throat from remembering the times he holed himself up in his pot. “Vil is a very capable individual. He built himself a successful career and has worked hard to get to where he is. I don’t want to see him being brought down because society brought him down in some way.”

They stopped by the tall black gates. They were closed but not locked, and they could push the gate open, but neither made a move. Floyd watched Azul, and Azul took another breath.

“Pff— hahahaha!” The eel’s laughter bursted out. “You’re so cheesy, Azul, y’know that!”

“Oi, be quiet,” he yelled, lightly pushing Floyd’s arm and causing him to stagger a bit before regaining balance. “Everyone can hear your laughter!”

“Hey, chill out, Azul,” Floyd said through dying laughter. “It’s cheesy, but y’know, it does make me kinda happy to hear that.”

“Eh?”

“It was really interesting seeing you work so hard to be better than everyone else,” he added. “But honestly, it was also kinda sad.”

Azul blinked in surprise.

“You rarely smiled,” Floyd continued. “And I would always wonder, Hey, was this octopus ever happy? But seeing you now?” He patted the dorm leader on the back. “You’ve grown from that octopus in the pot. I’m glad to see you happier now.”

For a few seconds, Azul stared at him with mouth agape. He could feel the lump building in his throat. What did he do to deserve people like Floyd?

“Ahem.” He quickly faced the gate in front. “We should go back inside. It’s almost dinnertime.”

“You look really red, Azul,” Floyd teased. “Are you about to cry like before〜?”

“N-no! And be quiet about this! We’re about to go inside!”

Ever though of making an au of your own for twst? Like a long time ago I made an au where NRC isn't an all boys school but an all gender school. And I made reader the female counterpart of the dorm leaders. My favorite was probably Heartslabyul, where reader is the complete opposite of Riddle in terms of personality. She's not assertive, she's meek and soft spoken.

The unique magic I gave her was called "Looking Glass" it grants her the ability to swap someone's personality to the complete opposite. So when Riddle visited her, he was surprised but proud when he saw all the women under her leadership were all well mannered and well behaved. Until they found out that Reader actually swapped their personalities for something more ideal to her. So they bossed fight her.

That's really interesting! You're so creative AHH! For now, my only AU for twst is Twisted Zoo, but maybe one day I'll make another one.

Ok so I apologize for my sorry ass from earlier but I wasn't feeling very well- (still doesn't excuse myself but anyways-)

So, as an apology for that, I have come with a quite fluffy idea!

Please prepare yourself for....

*drumroll*

Melanie Martinez Yuu!!

Now, this Yuu has some tattoos, piercings and of course Melanie's iconic split hair (basically Cruella hair), so everyone was completely shockedand confused by Yuu's appearence.

This Yuu once again has a cutesy, childish, pastel and somewhat a lolita look to them while also somewhat dressing in the same style as Ciel, except with a lot of bows, ribbons, lace and other stuff (I'm more or less basing this off of Melanie's style of music but also kinda by the way she dresses in some of her older videos).

Yuu's music always has a lot of meaning to it (example: Show and Tell - the meaning with celebrities being always seen as perfect and then thrown away once they don't live up to those expectations, Crybaby - a song for anyone who's a bit more emotional, and so many more).

It also sometimes has a bit more graphic scenes (I think in the music video 'Mad Hatter' Melanie took off her head or something, but I can't really remember now).

This Yuu also likes reusing props in their videos and somewhat hides them as easter eggs for the viewers to find. (Melanie also reuses some props in her music videos, so that's where this came from).

Now, Yuu (once again) becomes very popular and goes viral due to their style of music, their fun, caring and loving but also free personality and even their own dressing style (Yuu literally goes against all the beauty standards in TWST which is quite entertaining).

This Yuu tends to be a bit rebelious sometimes and is quite a big prankster, they also like to sometimes play pranks on the directors and other people who help with their music production (after they become famous of course).

Melanie Yuu starts to hang out with Vil a lot as well (especially after his overblot) and it even goes to the point where the two of them go to photoshoots together and many other things.

Yuu one day has an idea for a photoshoot which includes Vil and Neige, so they drag these two along and the three of them do style swaps. (Vil and Neige try Yuu's style, Yuu and Neige try Vil's style and so on). Yuu also has two accounts for every social media, one where they post their music and photos and even announcments while the other has blogs, Q&A's and BTS and just random stuff, so after this photoshoot Yuu posts a BTS on the second account.

At the photoshoot Yuu is the one who helps Neige and Vil get dressed and have their make up done, since nobody really knows how to do Yuu's make up and such (aka Yuu does Vil's and Neige's make up, hair and even clothes).

Now, Yuu does quite a lot of Q&A's with thwir friends while also lounging on really big plushies and such.

Yuu strictly avoids iron things, mainly due to some of their friends (but also other students) having fae genetics, and Yuu does wants the fae peeps know that it is 100% safe to approach them. Although they do sometimes wear iron when they have an argument with Malleus, Lilia or Sebek (Yuu does this out of spite because they can).

Now that's all for this au, for now, since I don't know how else to explain things for this and such.

Anyway if you're taking requests, how about that when Yuu gets angry or feels incredibly intense emotion, the entire world around them gets affected due to their magic. Such as windows breaking, their hair starts floating or some crazy stuff like that!

I don't do requests but this got : Ooh- Yuu goes feral? Yuu goes feral. >:D To be honest. NRC should've known that placing a huge weight on someone to be a therapist without compensation could lead to interesting mishaps. Adding on the fact they have a very powerful weapon called magic-- is well. Ya know the gist. I'm gonna do this with first years because they're well most likely to make Yuu angy. Ace's first reaction to Yuu breaking a cement wall was to start praying because he was so close to actually seeing his ancestors this time. The other times were the overblots. Okay, he gets it. He was an asshole pestering the magic kid to get him out of trouble again. So when Yuu calmed down, he gave them a peace offering. The offering? A slice of cherry pie and an apology note. He didn't want to face to face confront Yuu- he's too much of a coward and he's afraid they might punch him. He also suggested doing pranks to unsuspecting students to relieve their anger. Deuce was lucky that the vase near him didn't shatter. His first thing to do was kick Ace out of the room and get the students outside. Then he locked the door, covered his ears, and waited until Yuu was done tearing apart everything in the classroom. He later comforted them during lunch and talked to them about what he does to express his bottled anger. After that, Yuu has a stressball and a warm cup of water. He suggested them to once in a while yell all of their frustrations out. Somewhere secluded tho, don't want anyone's ears break. Jack immediately knew something was gonna happen when Yuu broke their pencil. You see, before Yuu could cause any damage Jack got them out of the classroom and to the nearby forest. There he witnessed Yuu break trees with their many assortment of spells and he also saw how loud they can scream. Once the whole killing everything not alive thing ended- Jack told Yuu about how if they're stressed from all the school thing happening they could vent it with him. Yuu now has a new bodyguard. >:D

Epel, poor guy. He was so confused why his hair started to float and suspected it as one of Vil's crazy shampoos he's forced to use. So he couldn't really see the whole chaos of Yuu doing some crazy wizard stuff. But when he did find out- he's torn between being awestruck or comforting Yuu. Epel carved them up an apple version of them, he also lowkey suggested them joining him during one of Vil's relaxation spa. Double the trouble for the dorm leader, and because it was oddly relaxing the first time he tried it. Not that he would admit it tho. Sebek. He-... He got thrown out of the window. It was one of his yelling sessions, and you know what happened. Thankfully, a few students explained that he shouldn't fight Yuu. He kind of complied. Sort of. Sebek waited for them to calm down and lectured them about how mental health is important, and then he got them out for some fresh air. Sebek then gave them some literature books for them to read. He said that if their pissed off read books, so you can expand your vocabulary more when you insult the person.

Twisted Wonderland Personality Swap AU

So I’ve been experimenting and having a lot of fun with a Twisted Wonderland personality swap AU, where the Housewardens and Vice-Housewardens switch personalities. I ended up sketching a little comic (read left to right) and since this is my first ever attempt at a comic I think it ended up not half bad. I might clean it up later if I feel like it lol. (Can you tell I have no idea how speech bubbles work? Also- first time ever properly drawing Trey so yay for me ig?)

Riddle is much calmer and more light-hearted. He’s still Housewarden, but his dynamic with Trey (and the whole dorm) has changed significantly. He’s a bit more of a trickster and much more laid back. He now desires to ‘maintain peace and keep his school life stress-free.’ He doesn’t want to punish anyone for breaking the rules, but his scary Vice-Housewarden Trey does.

Trey is much stricter and is the one with anger issues. He is now the tyrant who holds up all the rules, but since he doesn’t have ‘Off With Your Head’, he has Riddle carry out the punishments. He's probably also very strict when it comes to dental hygiene. Heartslaybul is basically being ruled by Trey, who's forcing Riddle to be strict.

Is anyone else interested in this concept? If so, I'll try my hand at continuing this little comic page.

Yuu does get to know the cast really well really fast lmaooo but it’s actually not that strange for them. even if they’re hanging out in their head, they don’t exactly (unwillingly) share thoughts or emotions or memories unless they’re like... SUPER strong. like overblot-flashback strong, you know?? but at that point they’re more liable to just be kicked out 😔 SO. luckily for the twst boy’s their secrets are safe 🥰 dw rook nobody’s gonna know ur a neige simp

the downside to this is unfortunately when yuu snatches a body there’s always like... a few minutes at least where they have, like, ABSOLUTELY no idea what’s going on. they can talk to the other person in their own head to get an idea of what’s happening, but the conversation actually has to have time to happen.

yuu hops into jamil and stares at a frying pan for a minute before leaving. deuce is out driving his motorized unicycle and nearly dies. vil starts researching how to eviscerate ghosts when they accidentally fuck up his eyeliner for the fifth time.

they swap into leona during the middle of a magift match and immediately gets fucking brained by a flying murder disc. amen hallelujah lionboy you’ll be missed 🙏

I have this AU idea that I’m going to call a Pair Swap AU. Basically, characters are grouped into pairs, then the relationship dynamics between all the pairs are swapped around. Then, it turns into a challenge to figure out how the new dynamic would work for each pair and what the resulting changes in backstory/personality/story would be. To make sure the characters aren’t completely warped, the rules are that neither their base personalities nor their unique magic should drastically change.

For example, for the main cast of TWST, a possible arrangement of pairs and dynamics:

Riddle & Trey = Childhood Friends

Ace & Deuce = Bickering 1st Years

Leona & Ruggie = Boss and Henchman

Jade & Floyd = Twins

Kalim & Jamil = Master and Servant

Vil & Epel = Mentor and Rebellious Mentee

Ortho & Idia = Android and Creator

Lilia & Malleus = Experienced and Inexperienced Immortals

Silver & Sebek = Knights in service to the same person

Then, after rearranging them, I have:

Riddle & Trey = Master and Servant

Ace & Deuce = Knights in service to the same person

Leona & Ruggie = Childhood Friends

Jade & Floyd = Android and Creator

Kalim & Jamil = Twins

Vil & Epel = Bickering 1st Years

Ortho & Idia = Experienced and Inexperienced Immortals

Lilia & Malleus = Mentor and Rebellious Mentee

Silver & Sebek = Boss and Henchman

To start with, I’ll explore how the new dynamics for Kalim & Jamil and Jade & Floyd might work under the cut. If anyone’s interested in this, I’ll make more posts.

First off, just want to note that I am not going to try and fit the new story to the Disney movies, it is going to be based solely on how the backstory/personality changes might impact the original plot.

For Kalim and Jamil to be twins, one needs to be transferred to the other’s family, so we’ll turn Jamil into Jamil Al-Asim. Furthermore, in canon, Jade and Floyd’s twin dynamic specifically has them be equals without any concept of an older or younger brother, so for this AU Jamil and Kalim are also treated as equals. They are both considered the heirs of the family, and when they grow up it is expected that they either inherit the family business together or just choose 1 of them to inherit it.

Since Jamil isn’t forced to hold back for Kalim’s sake now, he can freely flaunt his talents. He consistently surpasses Kalim, which could lead to something like Farena & Leona’s situation where everyone fawns over Jamil but dismisses Kalim. However, given Jamil’s unique magic and his more abrasive behavior in canon post-chap4, maybe the servants + family become split, with some backing Jamil and his greater talent while others back Kalim and his greater approachability. Then we get a situation where they’re both subconsciously or consciously envious of the other, creating tension in their relationship beneath the surface level impression they give off of being twin brothers on good terms with each other.

At NRC, I think it could go either way on who’s the dorm leader and who’s the vice dorm leader depending on the previous guy’s criteria for choosing his replacement, but I think it’s more likely Jamil would get the top position even with Kalim putting more effort into improving his skills. For the new chapter 4, this could just turn into a role-swapped version of the canon one, but I’m digging the equality thing I have going on so I think it would be fun to have an even split in the dorm, the same as back home, where some people are just fine with Jamil being the dorm leader while other people think that Jamil is too unrelatable/scary and they want Kalim in the lead instead. This then leads to conflict between the twins, and around overblot time they both finally let loose their frustrations and how inferior the other has made them feel. The ending lesson/revelation is that they don’t have to let others drive a wedge between them and they don’t need to fight, so the aftermath is them beginning to work through all those years of conflict.

I wanted this arrangement of pairs + dynamics to be interesting but not overly hard to figure out, which is why Jade & Floyd as Android & Creator was the very first one I thought of. Since Floyd is canonically a genius and very fast learner, it’s not too much of a stretch for him to get good at robotics. Then, Jade’s butler-like behavior and skills translate well into him being an android created to handle stuff that Floyd doesn’t want to deal with.

In this AU, Floyd is now an only child (though maybe that wasn’t always the case ouo). I feel like he might have befriended Azul earlier and/or developed a more cautious/melancholy attitude due to the absence of his responsible partner in crime. When they go on land to attend NRC, electronics catch Floyd’s eye, and before he reaches winter break of their 1st year, Jade has come into existence.

I don’t have the details fleshed out for Immortal Ortho & Idia, but I think I’ll keep Ortho as a kid, so Jade is also going to retain his 17 year old appearance. I feel like Jade would look less obviously robotic than Ortho, cause why make an android based on yourself if you’re not going to go all the way and give them the ability to completely impersonate you. Like canon Ortho, Jade isn’t registered as a student, so he can attend classes in place of Floyd without having his own classes/grades to maintain. He also can’t be vice dorm leader, so Floyd officially gets that position now. Jade is basically the honorary vice dorm leader though.

I think they would still kind of be the same as in canon regarding working with Azul and stuff at Mostro Lounge, but there’s going to be subtle differences. For example, if Floyd is not basing Jade off of a dead brother, he might be more dismissive of Jade’s wants and feelings since Jade was made solely to serve him. On the other hand, if Jade IS Floyd’s dead brother, it’ll definitely be less straightforward. Floyd's existing chaotic nature + any additional temperamentalness due to lingering grief makes him difficult to predict. Would he be more awkward, not sure what to do now that he has Jade again? But it isn’t really Jade, is it. Unlike Idia who may have had a way to convert Ortho’s brain to digital data or something so the android Ortho is really his brother Ortho, the best Floyd can probably do is make an AI based on his fleeting memories of Jade. So, is this Jade? Can he even call this android by the name Jade? Is he forcing this completely new person to be someone who’s long dead?

I’m kind of torn on how the new story chapters are going to work. Characters are still in the same dorms as before, so do I keep the 1 dorm per chapter and focus on the dorm leader? Do I keep the 1 dorm per chapter but shift focus to the paired characters so I neglect Azul but show off the Leechs? Or do I completely mess around with the story, so chapter “3″ is still on Azul but I put in a new chapter somewhere for the Leechs? Idk. Anyone who has ideas to add onto this, feel free to add ‘em

Sea of Thieves - TWST AU

Based off of @ihavebecomeapenguin‘s Role Swap AU where the First year gang and their respective dorm heads all swap years! This is my second attempt at writing this fic, so I hope you enjoy!

Word count: 2,130 (another record???)

Warnings: Cursing, fight scenes, Azul Angst because this is chapter three

Getting the leader of Savanaclaw to agree with their plan was easy enough for Yuu Prefect. Jack seemed to have the idea in his head that he was obligated to help the Ramshackle student because of how the recent overblot incident went down. Yuu didn’t dislike the help they were receiving, but Jack’s insistence that they slept in his dorm while Yuu fought to get Ramshackle back from the Octavinelle leaders was a little much.

However, convincing their new friend Leona would be a much more difficult ordeal.

“That has got to be the stupidest plan I’ve ever heard.”

“Well I don’t see you coming up with any ideas! I’ve only got a few hours left!” Yuu leaned against the door as Leona flipped the page on his magazine.

“It’s not really my problem, Herbivore.” He sighed and adjusted how he laid on his bed. “What could I do?”

Yuu stood up straight. “What’s wrong with you? You were all up for raiding the vault before, what’s changed now?”

Leona shut the magazine and tossed it aside, crossing his arms and sitting deeper into his pillows. “I don’t know, maybe I’m just tired of getting my ass handed to me by walking sushi!”

Grim snorted on Yuu’s shoulder, but the Prefect was not amused. “It’s a shame, really,” they began, “Think about how people will react when they hear that the second prince of the Afterglow Savanna turned his back on his friend. What would your nephew think of that?”

Yuu knew they struck a chord deep within Leona. He was on his feet in an instant and if looks could kill, Yuu would be dead where they stood. The beastman scowled at the human before him. “Fine, but we do this my way. Your plans suck.”

Yuu’s face formed a mischievous smile. Azul Ashengrotto had crossed a line and by the Seven there would be hell to pay. Oh yes, everything was coming together nicely.

Riddle paced back and forth and twiddled his thumbs while Trey cleaned his glasses again.

“I have a bad feeling about this--”

“You always have a bad feeling.” Trey put his glasses back on.

“No, seriously! What if Trappola-Senpai finds out that we’re gone? What if we’re too late? What if Leona doesn’t agree to help the Prefect? What if we’re caught out of bed? What if--”

Trey held up a hand. “Riddle, please. Everything is gonna be ok. Just breathe and let the chips fall where they may. Speaking of which...”

The mirror to Savanaclaw lit up and four people stepped out. Leona and Yuu approached the Heartslabyul first years while Ruggie and Jack hung back, already filled in.

As Yuu explained the plan, Riddle’s nervousness slipped away. That is, until his part in the operation was explained.

“You want us to do what?” Riddle’s eyebrows shot up.

Leona smirked. “What, you scared or something?”

“N-No!” He turned bright red. “I just don’t know if I have the skills to pull this off.”

Trey put a hand on his shoulder. “You’ll do fine.”

“Thank you, Trey.”

Grim gagged, the anemone on his head wobbling. “Ew! Get a room, you two!”

Leona reached over and flicked the blue appendage. “Shut up, be glad they’re here.”

Yuu rolled their eyes. “So, then everyone knows their parts? Good, then we can get going. The sooner we finish this, the better.”

The first years nodded and passed around the potion that would allow them to breathe underwater. Jack and Ruggie disappeared back into their dorm’s mirror while Yuu and company approached the dark mirror.

In a second, they found themselves in the Coral Sea near the Alantica Memorial Museum. As per usual, a merman guard was posted outside the door. The group looked around for the infamous Leech twins and swam towards the building when they saw that the coast was clear.

Yuu might have had their iconic resting bitch face plastered for their friends to see, but the fact that no one had tried to stop them yet worried the Prefect. Trey swam ahead of the group and approached the guard while the others took cover behind a rock. Yuu could hear Trey spit out a convincing lie about wanting to explore the Museum, only to be denied by the guard. Of course, this was expected and Trey struck up a conversation between the guard, giving a small signal that it was okay for his friends to make a break for the door.

They swam behind the guard while he was distracted and pulled at the entrance, only to discover that it was locked. Leona rolled his eyes and pushed up his sleeve, activating his Unique Magic.

“I am hunger, I am thirst, I am that which steals your tomorrow. Now kneel before me, Kings Roar.”

The door handle turned to sand and he pulled the door open, earning a glare from Riddle. They swam inside the door while Trey continued to keep the attention of the guard. Yuu had to admit Trey’s ability to lie on cue was unsettling, but not unwelcomed.

Finding the picture Yuu risked their dorm for wasn’t a hard task. However, they’d forgotten that the only other reasonable person was still outside sweet talking the guard, so you can imagine how Yuu felt when Riddle took his magic pen and smashed the glass casing around the photo without a second thought.

An alarm went off somewhere in the building and it occurred to Yuu that the last time they were here, there were two guards. A Merman in armor swam around the corner and almost called for backup, but Leona gave him a swift kick to the head and knocked him out.

Maybe hanging around with himbos isn’t such a bad thing. Yuu thought to themself. They almost laughed at the mental image of calling Leona a himbo, but remained focused on the situation at hand. The four swam back out of the Museum and signaled for Trey to wrap up the conversation that he was way too invested in.

They made their escape and began to swim back to the mirror spot, but two dark shadows in the water blocked their path. The Leech brothers eyed the photo in Riddle’s hand with amusement and smiled, calculated toothy grins. Floyd’s voice ripped through the cold water and sent chills down the spines of the first years.

“That doesn’t belong to you, Shrimpy-Chan~”

Azul watched the first years sneak through the mirror and instructed the twins to give them an hour to retrieve the photo. What he hadn’t seen was the Savanaclaw leadership watching him from their respective mirror.

The Octomer returned to the Mostro Lounge and felt that the establishment lack a certain atmosphere, but then remembered that the Leech twins were off preparing to collect on his most recent contract. He kept himself busy and waved the twins off when they departed, but found his tasks boring when they left.

The Lounge didn’t open for a few minutes, but Azul could see a line forming outside. He grabbed a first year from Scarabia that he had enslaved was helping out that day and positioned him to be the host. The doors opened and Azul noticed that a large amount of customers were from Savanaclaw, but thought nothing of it.

He returned to the VIP room and checked his phone for messages before sitting down behind his large desk. Azul looked over the papers on his desk and noticed that jade had dropped off collateral on a recent contract. Azul spun around in his chair like a supervillain - which he privately enjoyed doing - and stood to open his vault. He had barley cracked the door open when a first year from his own dorm stepped into the VIP room looking distressed.

“What could possibly be so important that you come in here unannounced?”

“It’s a mad house out there, Senpai!” The first year was out of breath,

“Excuse m--”

“There’s too many of them, we can’t keep serving them!”

“Show me.”

Azul followed the first year out to the Lounge’s restaurant area and stopped. Those students from Savanaclaw who were crowding the door? They had taken up every seat! They were yelling and cursing out his waiters and throwing glasses and sending back food they deemed inedible! And of course, the smug faces of Ruggie Bucchi and Jack Howl leaned against the door frame without a care in the world.

“Mister Howl, what is the meaning of this?” Azul tried his hardest not to scream in frustration.

“That’s Howl-Senpai to you, tentacles!” Ruggie snickered.

“I haven’t the slightest idea what you mean.” Jack had a smug expression.

Someone called Azul’s name from the kitchen and yelled that they needed assistance. Jack’s smile turned sinister. “That sounds urgent, you wouldn’t want to upset your customers, would you?”

Azul’s face burned red as he struggled not to explode on them. After all, he had a reputation; one bad day couldn’t ruin that. But he did find it suspicious that this happened as soon as the twins had left. Azul returned to the kitchen and kept his eye on the Savanaclaw leaders until he stepped behind the swinging door, narrowly running into a Heartslabyul student carrying a tray of tea.

Once he was gone, Jack nodded to Ruggie and the second year made a break for the VIP room. Phase one was complete.

If this was any other circumstance, Yuu would say that the eels swimming around them was majestic. However, in this moment, Yuu struggled not to show fear.

“What should we do with the little Shrimpy and Koebe-Chan and Lionfish and their little friends, Jade?” Floyd’s nicknames for them made Riddle flush.

“I don’t know, what if you gave them a squeeze?” Jade swam a little too close to Leona and almost got slashed across the face by long nails. Yuu looked to the Heartslabyul duo and nodded. The two had their pens out in a flash and went back to back. This part of the plan required concentration and almost perfect timing. If one of them messed up, they may just become fish food.

Floyd caught on to what they were doing. “Hah! What, is little Koebe-Chan going hit me with his little necklaces?”

Riddle turned even more red, but surprisingly didn’t lash out. Yuu looked over for a second and noticed that Trey was holding his hand to keep him calm. Yuu turned their attention back to Jade as Leona swiped at him again. Leona attempted to fire a bolt of magic at him, but Jade was too quick, easily avoiding and laughing at the attempt.

Yuu grabbed Leona’s sleeve. “Floyd’s magic! We can’t touch them!”

Leona swung his head around, smacking Grim in the face with his ponytail, and snarled at Trey and Riddle. “Hurry up, goddamnit!”

Riddle broke his concentration and glared at Leona. “I’m doing my best you useless pussy!”

Trey and Yuu made eye contact and knew that the plan was falling apart. Trey rolled his eyes and pointed his wand at Floyd. “Oh for the Seven!”

He activated his Unique Magic and suddenly Floyd’s smile fell. His multi colored eyes widened with rage and Trey gulped. “Riddle, now!”

Riddle spun around and pointed his pen at Floyd as well. “Don’t tell me what to do! Off with your head!”

The all too familiar clicking sound could be heard and Floyd grabbed at his neck. Riddle’s iconic neck lock was holding onto the merman and based on the violent thrashing from Floyd, it wasn’t budging. Floyd glared daggers into Riddle and lunged at him with a loud shriek, but Leona had crossed the distance between them and booted him in the side of the head.

“Floyd!” Jade rushed to his brother’s side and was relieved that Floyd was only knocked unconscious. He looked at the first years and down at the neck brace on his twin. “Just... go.”

They didn’t hesitate to swim back to the mirror spot and teleport back to Night Raven College. When they had finally caught their breath from swimming so fast, Riddle look down at his hands.

“I.... I just used my magic to harm an upperclassman. Leona, you kicked an upperclassman in the head!”

“Yeah and I’ll do it again.” Leona picked between his teeth with his pinky finger. Yuu looked at Trey. “So, how did you do that? The plan was for you two to cast that combo spell that Crowley showed you.”

Trey rubbed the back of his neck. “Well, I panicked and realized that my Doodle Suite might have been able to make Floyd-Senpai’s shield just not work.”

“Genius, even for a human like you!” Grim jumped onto the green haired boy’s shoulder with a smile.

“Thank you?”

“Don’t take that as a compliment!” Riddle squinted his eyes at Grim. Leona pulled out his phone and was amazed that it wasn’t dead. “So, Jack and Ruggie-Senpai should be done by now, should we head over to the Lounge?”

Yuu sighed and realized how tired they were. “Let’s.”

When he managed to get the last beastman out of his restaurant, Azul almost collapsed against the door. He got to his feet and almost stumbled back to the VIP room, but stopped dead in his tracks. His blood turned to ice and his glasses fell off his face. Azul made an undignified sound and spun around, discarding his glasses in his haste. He tore down the hall back to the Lounge, leaving the VIP room and the open, empty vault within.

Azul threw open the doors to the Lounge and saw Ruggie leaning against a wall, cleaning out his teeth with a toothpick.

“What have you done?!” Azul’s voice was nothing more than a hushed whisper.

Ruggie ignored him. “You know, I tried takoyaki for the first time today, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.”

Azul turned a furious red. “You mangy beast! Where are they?!”

“Is that any way to talk to a classmate, Azul-kun?” Jack stepped out from behind a corner, a large stack of yellow papers in his hands. “I thought that you would have more tact.”

The Octavinelle student glared daggers into Jack’s soul. It was a little unsettling. The beastmen could just feel the anger seething out of him. Footsteps could be heard approaching the three.

“I can’t wait to see the look on that Octo-punk’s face when we give him the stupid photo!”

“I’ve never said anything bad against an upperclassman before, but I hope he looses it!”

“Like how you lost it with Floyd?”

“Shut up, or I’ll forcefully remove that anemone myself, you little beast!”

The first years turned the corner Jack was standing behind and stopped. Yuu held up a preemptive hand to stop any wise comments about Azul’s clearly enraged behaviour. With their other hand, they held out the photograph. “Here, so you can’t say we didn’t pull through our end of the deal.”

Azul just stared at the photo and began to laugh softly. “You... You think you’ve won? You steal my contracts, you destroy my Lounge and you bring me my photo to rub it in, huh? I see the twins have failed yet again.”

“Yet again?” Called a voice from down the hall. The students present turned their heads to see the human forms of the Leech brothers coming their way. Floyd still had Riddle’s neck lock on and held an ice pack to his temple.

Jade’s eyes looked Azul up and down. “It seems you’re the one who failed here.”

Azul scoffed. “Oh please, I gave you one task: keep them from returning the photo to me! You couldn’t even do that!”

Floyd stood up taller and took the ice pack away from his head. “You know, I don’t like that tone you’ve got. Makes me want to squeeze it out of you.”

Azul seemed to mentally backpedal. “Well, what I meant to say was--”

Jack waved the contracts in the air to get the mermen’s attention. “Do you want these or not?”

Azul’s anger turned to desperation. “Yes! Hand them over this instant!”

“No I don’t think I will.” Jack sneered. Yuu realized that he was just toying with Azul. They almost felt bad for the second year dorm head, but at the same time, he had enslaved over two hundred students simply because they wanted a cheat sheet for finals. Jack looked over the documents in his hand and passed them to Leona. “Do what you want, I just wanted to see him squirm.”

Leona gladly took the contracts and Yuu realized what he was about to do. They made no move to stop him, but Jade’s eyes opened uncharacteristically large.

“I am hunger, I am thirst, I am that which steals your tomorrow. Now kneel before me, Kings Roar!”

The golden contracts crumbled into sand between his fingers. Azul shrieked again and fell to his knees, watching as Leona kicked the pile of sand at his feet to solidify that the papers were gone. Yuu looked to Grim and saw that the anemone on his head was gone, however the next sound Azul made got them to return their focus on the situation.

“You... you monsters!” Azul slowly got to his feet.

“Yeah what?” Grim grinned. “You gotta be a bit more specific.”

Leona rolled his eyes and turned to go. “C’mon, I’ve got practice to get to. I don’t wanna throw a pity party for that mess.”

Riddle raised his pen and the neck brace around Floyd vanished. He rubbed his neck and smiled at Riddle. “Thank you, Koebe-chan! No hard feelings for trying to eat you?”

Riddle made a disgusted face that Trey snorted at. Azul watched them start to leave with horror in his eyes. “No, wait! Fix this mess! Grim, I helped you pass your exam!”

“You also used me as a sponge!”

Floyd pursed his lips and crossed his arms. “You’re acting pretty lame right now, you know that right?”

Jade nodded and shrugged his shoulders. “Desperation isn’t a good look for you.”

Azul looked around for something, anything to make the situation better. Yuu sighed. “Azul, you did this to yourself. Now, if you excuse us--”

Azul got to his feet with a strange expression on his face. “Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait! I can turn this around! Just watch, I’m not boring at all!”

The door to the Mostro Lounge creaked open and a timid looking Scarabia student stepped out, patting his head where Yuu assumed an anemone had been resting. Azul reached out his hand and a small ball of light flew out of the chest of the poor student and into Azul’s. He stood up with a crazed smile and looked around the group as the Scarabia boy collapsed.

“See?! I may not be what I once was, but I am still leagues above you all!”

Leona groaned and spun around on his heels. “Okay, now you’re taking this too far--”

He was interrupted by Azul’s laugh and a snap of the second year’s fingers. Ruggie pushed Leona down and the ball of light Yuu assumed was Ruggie’s magic flew to Azul. Jack pulled out his staff and growled as he watched Ruggie faint.

“You’ll pay for that, Ashengrotto.” He snarled.

Azul’s laugh grew dark and menacing. “Oh really, Jack-Senpai?” the title oozing off of his tongue like poison. “Why don’t you just lighten up and Dance with me!”

Jack dropped the staff and became rigid, but soon regained control of his body. Azul turned to Floyd, who’s eyebrows were furrowed in concentration. All of the commotion had drawn the attention of the other Octavinelle dorm residents, all of which fell prey to Azul’s greedy glare.

Yuu watched in horror as Azul absorbed the magic of every student who had unknowingly stepped into their worst nightmare, but it wasn’t over. Yuu looked Azul up and down and saw his purple gem becoming more clouded by the second.

Riddle noticed this too and raised his pen to stop the nonsense, but Trey tackled him out of Azul’s line of sight. It occurred to Yuu that if Azul got is hands on the magic of their friends, the fight would turn from bad to ugly.

Of course, as per usual, the coming tide was already among them. Jade dashed to put himself between the first years and the crazed Azul, but got smacked to the side by a large black tentacle that had formed from Azul’s cane.

The overblotting version of Azul stood over the first years, but while their friends saw the anger in those cold blue eyes, Yuu recognized loneliness and fear. This was by far the worst case of overblotting Yuu had seen when comparing the Heartslabyul and Savanaclaw incident together, and they had no idea what to do now.
