I want another boss instead.

I just want to say just is. I want the Little Nightmares boss be another boss. I am awaiting back the arrival of Six and Mono. When people have voted Six to come back. I'm frustrated over the vote. (Typically, if she's being voted as the final enemy.) I'm saying this: I DON'T want her to be the final boss!

I want the final boss to be the Mirror man instead! We've already had Six as the final boss! If Six was used again as a boss, then...That would be repetitive!

-I wouldn't mind if Six came back as a side character. I just do not want her to be the final boss.

When it comes to making designs for this page, I like to create a sketch on paper first and then go over the drawing again in Illustrator. But with this piece I wanted to get better at drawing freehand graphics on my laptop.

The hand creature itself had originally started off as a random blob that I filled with different colours. This was to help me get used to how the graphics pen feels on the surface of the laptop. Looking again at the shape of the blob, it made me think of a hand stretching out so I decided to build on that.

Separating the layers, I created a rough sketch of the hand and the accompanying background. I thought it would look cool if the hand represented a boss from a video game or a greedy entity. With this idea in mind, I could start adding the rings and jewels to give it more detail and personality.

After that it was on to the background; I thought it would be interesting to have the hand look like it was flying towards something so I drew a spiral pattern, coming from beneath the collar, and built a cloud around it. I then started drawing some more clouds and added tall buildings to break up the background and add some depth.

Looking at it now, I am pretty happy with how the colours turned out. I would like to improve on implementing more freehand painting techniques, especially to the background elements of my work. If you like this or have any thoughts about hands, let me know what you think and have a great day. 😊✋👁

The House of the Dead has always been one of my favorite light gun/zombie/Sega/Arcade games of all times. It had some of the best bosses and that b-rated horror charm. The one boss that really stood out to me was the Magician. He was a formidable foe and one of the coolest bosses in the series. Which brings us to piece #13. Here are the results.
