Selling the house and a creepy, life-size wax figure of Billy Ray Cyrus is wrapped and ready to go. Don't break his heart, his achy breaky heart.

Napoleon Bonaparte by Hiroshi Sugimoto, c. 1999
From Hiroshi Sugimoto’s Portraits, a series of depictions of historical and contemporary figures. Sugimoto isolated wax figures from staged vignettes in waxworks museums, posed them in three-quarter-length view, and illuminated them to create haunting Rembrandt-esque portraits of historical figures, such as Henry VIII, Napoleon Bonaparte, Fidel Castro, and Princess Diana.

An engraving depicting wax figures of the French royal family. The figures were created by Philippe Curtius, a wax-maker whom Marie Grosholtz (future Madame Tussaud) considered her uncle. She and her mother lived with Curtius; her mother was his housekeeper.

Night at the (Wax) Museum
The 118 gets a call to a wax museum late at night on Halloween. What could possibly go wrong?
For once, it wasn’t Buck’s fault.
[the grammatically correct version]
Part 1 in this series is the exact same story with spelling, grammar and other things changed to hide my writing style for a guess the writer event.
It is hilariously atrocious and I am stupidly proud of just how bad it is. But it is also virtually unreadable. So I have taken pity on you all and and posting this correct version as well. Enjoy - and maybe leave a comment? Shamelessly fishing for some serotonin to help me recover from having an emergency appendectomy while having influenza A at the same time. I feel crap ya'll, give me some love?

“Oh, Archivist.”
It’s finished! Nikola Orsinov kidnapping Jon sent me spiraling so I had to paint it. The horrors he endures😵‍💫🥺 poor Jon. I don’t think the creators meant to have the wax figures melting but that’s how it is in my head

Adding some Madame Tussaud postcards to my collection. And no, the "heads" aren't based on real death masks: Tussaid herself never claimed to have made heads of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. They were only added to the "chamber of horrors" after her death, when her sons took over. Likewise, her claims of making heads of revolutionary figures are not really upheld by any evidence or practical facts. [Image: my photo/collection.]

Night at the (Wax) Museum
Written in a style to hide that it was me, this is a grammatical abomination of truly atrocious levels. It's insane and chaotic but also a lot of fun that will make you laugh out loud (I hope). Give it a chance!
Summary: The 118 gets a call to a wax museum late at night on Halloween. What could possibly go wrong?
For once, it wasn’t Buck’s fault.

First art of the new year is all about re-structuring your internal monologue.
In my early 20s I was working full time in London with many social commitments and a variety of hustles and side projects.
In my later mid 20s I cater to many sensory and social drain needs I have and indulge in special interests while respecting my lower energy reserves and celebrating my different way of processing the world.
Did I get more autistic? Nah. I got less fake.

[Art description: Three panels showing figures on a black background. Long descriptions follow.
1. A drawing of OP as a person with hip-length hair and a dress standing sadly with her hands clapsed together in front of her. She is coloured a muted rainbow gradient. Behind her, two pairs of nondescript figures chat while smiling. White text says, ‘I’m getting more and more autistic the older I get.’ 2. OP’s colours are brighter, and her expression looks happier. Crayon-like scribbles have crossed out the text from the previous panel. 3. OP’s colours are vibrant, and she balances on one leg and throws her arms out as she dances. The text above has changed to say, ‘I’m becoming more and more myself the older I get.’ \End descriptions]
