So. Now that I've seen the official release of ep 4, I have thoughts. And lots of feelings. But first I will say that I'm glad Sukfilm added the jagi reveal from the uncut to the beginning of the free version. It's too important to the plot to leave out.

So proud of Jaemin for standing up to that crazy bitch Sol/Sori. (They really need to stick with one name to make things less confusing. 😅) I hate that the threat of it getting out that Jaemin is gay would threaten his chances of getting a job. I also hate that Suk went with the evil woman getting in the way of true love trope, but since they did, I HATE SOL. So much.

Sol got to Jaemin. 😭 I want to shake Jaemin and tell him so what? Your man is hot, men and women would be jealous. Since Nami is rich, he can pay for stuff because he will spoil you rotten. Just mooch off him! (jk 👀 jk👀)

As much as it hurts, I do understand Jaemin. I know that the main reason he broke up with Nami was because of Sol's threat, but I feel like Jaemin finding out that Nami's not the struggling writer he thought he was, put a dent in his pride and made him feel a bit inferior. He thought they were struggling together, only to find that Nami works for funsies.

I felt terrible for Nami this whole episode. He had no idea what was going on. Jaemin went from loving boyfriend to asking for a break up with no indication anything was wrong in between. The whole episode he was confused, but smiling and trying to coax Jaemin regardless. 🥺

A freaking knife in my heart. 😭 I really wanted to start crying when Jaemin said "take care". The acting was so good.

ARGHHHH. You can find me ugly crying in the corner. Nami is trying to fight for them but Jaemin won't use his words. They had such good communication before this. I wish Jaemin had told Nami about Sol and about his insecurities with the wealth/power dynamics in their relationship. PLEASE. When Jaemin starts letting go of Nami's hand and Nami subtly shook his head in a "no, don't" way, I groaned a noooooooo out loud. I was way too into this.

I have been heartbroken over this ending since Thursday, but now that I've had time to kind of calm down, I don't think this is the end. MDL had this series as 2 eps, extended to 4, but I don't recall Suk ever confirming or saying anything about the number of episodes. In the last shot, Jaemin is letting go of Nami's hand, but he hasn't completely let go yet. In episode 5, Nami refuses to let Jaemin go and grabs his hand again and forces him to have a heart to heart. They talk it out, get back together, tell Sol off, and then have a hot make out session in the uncut. Then they lived happily ever after. 🤡

I think the most time was taken by the final panel and adding in the finishing touches since I pretty much had to change everything to the pixel level, quite literally lol (I'm serious, I did)

Welp I hope the results were worth it! And with that, another one gets a good ending!!

I kinda didn't add sleeves in the first two panels of the final page because it didn't look good and looked janky with how I was editing it so yeah please ignore that-

~premise: dazai's most recent suicide attempt brought him closer than he had been in a while, chuuya goes to confront him. Set in their port mafia days.~

Chuuya was tired. Tired holding his partner’s cold body, only to have it warm and grinning back at him a few hours later. Tired of being trapped in waiting rooms, alone for hours on end waiting for him to wake up. Dazai’s heart had stopped for over two minutes this time.

A phone landed in Dazai’s lap.

“Delete me as your emergency contact you ass, I’m tired of being called every time you fail to finish the job.”

Dazais’ teeth shone as his face split into a grin. He opened his mouth to respond—already back on his usual bullshit—Chuuya snapped.

“God, your so fucking useless. You’ve never failed a mission, yet you can’t kill yourself right? Huh? Why can’t you follow though Dazai, I thought you were able to do anything —Mori’s perfect machine and all— or are you just too much of a coward to finish the job?

Chuuya might have seen Dazai’s smile falter if he was paying attention.

“Ha,” he spat bitterly, “You can’t die properly but everybody around you certainly gets the inverse of your good luck, wouldn’t you say? With the amount of bodies you leave in your wake knowing you is practically a death sentence.

“Do you even care? No, of course you don’t, why would you! The only thing you might feel is jealous, but that’s of course assuming there is something inside you human enough to feel at all. And I’m not that generous or naive.”

By now Chuuya was leaning over him, knuckles white under his gloves gripping the sides of the hospital bed.

“I’m surprised that brain of yours hasn’t figured it out by now, it’s fine. I’ll let you in on the little secret.

“Nothing in life is going to make you happy Dazai, nothing is going to make you better, nothing is going to be worth it. There’s no fixing you.”

Dazai wasn’t meeting his gaze. It didn’t matter. “Do us all a favor and don’t fail next time,” he hissed.

Dazai was silent. He didn’t have the energy to flinch at the sound of the door slamming, but it never came. Muddily he reached over to his phone and hit contacts.

i think tsukasa would look very much like the pierrot from the project diva karakuri pierrot pv. think about it: he calls himself a pierrot in his second event song and he's a pierrot in his third event card. it would make perfect sense. maybe change some colors to represent his third event outfit and add a few stars. maybe a broken star over where his heart is.

how he would act? i think he would act very un-star like. shadows are made up of the parts their people deny exist so it would make sense. he's rude and hateful. he's not afraid of voicing his negative opinions on what is happening. shadow tsukasa puts up a fairly convincing act when the other shadows are around but drops it the moment they all inevitably leave him again. when they deem him boring.

he doesn't hesitate to send pure poison to his parents for leaving him alone for all those years. he remembers all the lonely days in clear detail. he tries so hard to hate saki but can't because he knows the love the real tsukasa has for her is genuine.

shadow tsukasa is tired. he's tired of being a people pleaser. he just stopped being one, stopped living up to their expectations. he decided to be selfish instead. there's no use in giving yourself up when no one appreciates it. any chance to rest, he takes.

it would all change when shadow tsukasa becomes torpe.
