More Hawks Headcanons💖

Because my last Hawks headcanons post got some attention, I decided to do some more 🥰

This one will have NSFW headcanons, and I'll try to put those under a read more.

I wasn't sure to put this in NSFW or SFW due to the fact that a lot of the "his wings being sensitive" headcanons are NSFW, but I feel like this is safe enough.

His wings aren't as sensitive as fanon writes. He's been seen letting people touch his wings. (Manga panel below.)

I think, if anything, it's more like touching his arm. Context matters a lot. So, an unexpected flirtatious touch will undoubtedly be different than a fan touching them.

(Sidenote: I'm unsure if his wings being written this way is an actual thing people believe of Hawks, or if it is simply for fanfic works, but at the end of the day, it isn't that serious.)

Hawks survives on coffee. There's just no argument. He's a top hero, so how much sleep can he get? And he's seen drinking cans of coffee in canon, so my headcanon is that he is 75% coffee.

Has a fish tank?? I dont know. I feel like he would really enjoy going home and watching some fish swim around. It relaxes him. He hires someone to care for the tank when he's too busy, though.

Bird man needs big bed for wings. He will sprawl them out. Prepare for him to starfish.

This man absolutely loves being on top so he can throw your legs over his shoulders. He loves how your face contorts when he's able to get deeper than you expect. Because apparently I can't let anything go... So a few days ago I made a post about Buddy Daddies' first anniversary coming up and I wasn't going to make something "official" but the brainrot is too strong so here we are... This Sunday, January 7th, it's exactly one year since the first episode of Buddy Daddies was released! And I think that calls for a celebration! I put everything under a cut because this got really long

I came up with a few things that the fandom could do to celebrate this adorable family! Of course these are not exclusive things! If you want to contribute anything that's not listed below, go for it! 1. A weekly rewatch of the episode that aired a year ago Starting Sunday January 7th, we rewatch the episode that aired on that date last year. Nothing is stopping you from binging the rest of the episodes that day, of course! It would just be fun that a lot of us watch the same episode on the same day (or through a watch party if anyone knows how to do that)! 2. Create!! This is literally what it says: create! Just anything related to the episode of that week! There are so many options, but I'm just giving a few things I could come up with - Fanfics surrounding that week's episode. Dive into a scene you wished had more details. Write a scene you feel should've happened in the episode but didn't. Write a scene for a headcanon that you have. Really anything you want (it would be fun if it had something to do with that week's episode, but no one's going to punish you if it isn't). - Make a gifset for that week's episode. Make a set about your favourite character from that episode, your favourite moment, favourite quotes, favourite outfits,... Anything goes really! - Make fanart! There are so many talented artists in this fandom who make amazing pieces of art! It would be fun to see you make something that links back to that week's episode. I'm thinking about redrawing your favourite screenshot in your style. Draw your favourite moment. Draw a scene that you wish happened in the episode. Redraw your favourite piece of Lily art in your style! (I know this last one is less linked to the episodes but who cares). You brilliant people can probably come up with other things still! - Write a theory/headcanon/character analysis/... I have seen so many people write insightful posts about things that weren't explicitly shown on screen. There are characters we get very little background info over. Characters that we know a few things about but it feels like there can be so much more written about them! Write about your headcanons, both for past and future versions of the characters. Write your theories about certain things. It feels like there's still so much to say about this anime and a lot of people out there who know how to put those things into words! - Make an edit! This can be a video edit, a literal photoshop edit. Make wallpapers, phone backgrounds, profile pictures, memes,... Anything you want really! 3. HAVE FUN!! I know it sounds like it, but there really aren't any rules to this! Just have fun! It would just be fun that whatever you decide to post is in some way linked to the episode, but that's not set in stone, obviously! Just enjoy! I think it would be fun to dedicate a week to each episode (so a 12/13 week event if we count the recap episode), starting on the day that episode first aired last year and ending the day before the new episode aired (ex. for episode 1: starting on Sunday, January 7th and ending on Saturday, January 13th). You can decide if you just want to post something about your rewatching the episode or if you want to create something. If you want to make something, you can do multiple things if you want. And again: no one is going to punish you if you posted something from episode 1 during episode 2's week! We're all busy and don't always manage to get something done in time, so don't stress about not being able to finish something "on time". Lastly, I think it would be fun to make this into a hashtag as well! I thought of using the tag #Buddy Daddies Anniversary (very on the nose, I know, so if someone knows something more fun, please share it with the group). And like I said before: HAVE FUN!!

How to Build Resilience in Long Fanfic Writing

Sometimes, when a fanfic goes past 20 chapters, people who had been commenting, began to lose interest. Maybe you'll start doubting your skill or whether you "have what it takes" to be a writer, even if you're doing it for fun.

But maybe you see all those beautifully written but unfinished long fics and mourn that they'll never be finished (for the writer's valid reason or another). And you don't want that to happen to yours.

There is also an advantage to completing long fics: you develop the discipline to write original novels which can take far longer.

So if you're in for the long haul and you want to stay steady and true despite whatever popularity your fic may have, here's how to have the resilience to finish it to the end.

(Disclaimer: this is not a reason to stop commenting on fics)

#1 Whatever You Think You're Owed, Let It Go.

Accidentally quoting Elsa aside, I'm talking about comments. Comments validate and can make you learn new things about your fics through other people's eyes.

But when you see a high-to-low ratio between kudos and comments, you may feel like you are owed.

When you push yourself to complete three long chapters and publish them all in the same day and only get one response, it can feel like people are being mean.

The truth is, we'll never know why the people who loved our fics will not talk to you about them.

Maybe they forget there's a person behind the fic.

Maybe they're having a bad day and just want to shut down after reading something enjoyable.

But whatever the case is, it's beyond your control.

This post said it best (shoutout to @radioactive-earthshine) :

"Remember - hits/likes/kudos/comments are not reflective of the quality of your fic or your ability to write. Most people just don’t comment - even if they say they do, they don’t... Even if your fic brought tears to their eyes and it haunted them for weeks and they printed it out and sent it to their friends they just don’t comment. You just have to accept it.

I'm not saying you force yourself to let it go now. But someday, you will need to let it go, and control what you can which is you.

#2 Put Your Life First Before Your Readers

I have to say this because sometimes writers would have thoughts like "I haven't written for a long time; people must be wondering about it." Nope. Stop. Not worth it.

Creating is fun, but it is also exhausting. Add into the fact that most of us have 8-hour jobs or classes.

The reason you haven't written for a long time is that other aspects of your life deserve your time and energy, too. And after all that, you would be understandably tired.

So put your life first before your readers.

#3 Make Preparations to Replenish Your Soul

Long fanfic writing is energy and time-consuming. But you cannot depend on external validation to make up for it.

External validation in the form of comments can be good because we don't want to imagine it's all in our heads. But seeking it too much leads to what I've read in the book, "Ego is the Enemy":

"If outside validation is your only source of nourishment, you will hunger for the rest of your life."

So before posting a chapter, list down what you can do to replenish your soul after. Treating myself to a cafe one time helped. So is taking walks when the air is cool.

To stop anticipating responses too much, what works for me is to post on Wednesday. Wednesday is when people are less busy. At the same time, when the weekend comes, I don't obsess over it so much and can focus on other aspects of my life or replenish my energy for the next week.

In the commitment to complete a long fic, it's important to be honest with yourself. This is to be transparent with your needs and watch out for any signs of burnout, like feeling sad and tired. If you need to walk away from your fic for a while, then do it.

#3 This is Between You and Your Creation

Yes, fandom should be two-way street. Yes, fandom shouldn't treat fanfics and fan arts like commodity. And yes, there should be interaction and engagement. But before all that, there is this thing between you and your creation first and foremost.

Just as a story has to have a "why", remember why you thought you should write your long fic. Your reason may change over time, but when you remember your "why", you remember your true goal to keep going.

#4 Write like No One is Reading

This is a perk I adapted when I only get two responses if I'm lucky after updating a fic that has more than a hundred subscribers. If people barely react, then you're free to write whatever you please in your story as if you're dancing like no one is watching. Just have fun improving your skills.

This is similar to an inspiring section of the same post that I've found:

"10.) Write for yourself, not for others. Write the fic you know no one is going to read. Write the fic that sounds ridiculous. You will be so happy you put it out in the world and there will be people who will be glad it exists."

#5 Cherish the Rare Friends You Find Along the Way

Sometimes, we get lucky and get something better than a hundred people interacting with our fic -we find a friend we would make in the way of writing the long fic that we dared to write. And they're the ones who would cheer you on and cry and laugh with you about the shared stories. Cherish them.

1- When did you start playing Choices? What was the first book you played? 

I started in 2018. I was bored in a friend's house and fighting good old insomnia when I saw the app and tried it for funsies. The first book was 'High School Story'. 

2- When and why did you join Choices fandom?

I joined around late 2018 early 2019 and I had just left my community in Amino because the admin had gone full puritanical dictator and I was curious about Tumblr.

3- How did you pick your blog name? 

It was simple: my nickname is Noe and I am a sapphic (aka lesbian). It's a no-brainer, really. 

4- Pull up the first post in your archive, and tell us about it!  

It was a reblogged quote. I related to what it said and I reblogged it 

5- Do you write fanfiction, create fan art, or are you one of those really gifted people who do both? 

I write fanfiction. God did not grant me art skills I'm afraid. My fingers are too fat and my pulse is terrible. 

6- How long have you been creating for Choices and for any other fandoms?

I've been creating for fandoms as long as I can remember. I've had a really troubled life, so creating stuff helped me. As for Choices, I've been creating stuff since 2019 

7- What is your favorite Choices book, and what is your favorite Choices book to create for?

Without a doubt, Desire and Decorum. The first book is simply a masterlist and its characters are so well-written, and everything about it just draws me to it. They definitely botched the other books, but it will always be in my heart. I also enjoy creating for other historical books and books that have similar themes 

8- Share your first Choices fanfic or fan art that you posted with us. Do you still like it, or would you change it if you were creating it today?

It was a set of headcanons of Mr. Sinclaire and my MC, Celestine, finding out that they're going to be parents. While my spelling is terrible, I wouldn't change a thing. The engagement I received was such, it drove me to write for more. I haven't stopped creating since. 

9- What your favorite piece of fiction or art that you created? 

It's no secret for anyone who pays attention to my blog: my au, The Cursed Heiress, is probably my best creation. It's complex and a juggernaut of lore and history, and has all I've ever wanted in a fic and book in it. Although a close second is my Tudor AU, For Love and Duty. I simply love the 'arranged marriage' trope 

10- Do you have a fic/art that you didn’t expect to be well received, but it was? What about one you expected to do well but found it could use a little more love?

The second part of a one shot, A True Man, was probably one of the most difficult to write, and with a very traumatising and important theme. I was 100% hoping anon hate telling me to delete it, but found instead that the people ate it up! It has now 30 notes (which is A LOT for a small fandom like the D&D one) and now that I reread it, I'm proud of what I created and the message I wanted to send, which resonates with happenings of my past and experiences. 

11 - If you could write only angst, fluff, or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why? 

Definitely angst. There's something so cathartic and relieving as letting out those emotions you can't express out loud without being locked up for being unhinged, and it has helped me understand myself many times. Also, smut is def something that I can't physically write 😅 

12 - Do you ever recognize yourself in any of your MCs or in your writing?

There are small parts of me in every MC. A fragment of my past. Something of their lore that I went through. Something I aspire to be. Something I wanted to be once. I like to think that every writer leaves a part of their heart and soul with each character they create. 

13 - What element of writing/art do you struggle with most?

Ooof, where to begin. I think the hardest part is to just write. I can go on for weeks looking at my turned-off laptop and goof off on Tumblr. But when I do write, the 'boring' parts or writing a character that I am not familiar with or that there isn't much info about can be challenging. 

14 - Do you have any neglected work you really want to finish?

Oof, where to begin, lol. My modern AUs, The Viscountess and Plan B. There's also Your Most Ardent Admirer and For Love and Duty. There's the fix-it fic series of the Blades LIs. Profiles of my MCs from several series. And also fic ideas that I want to create, but don't know where or how to start it. Woe is me indeed 😭 

15 - If someone you know in real life (who isn’t involved in fandoms) asked to see your work, would you let them? If yes, what would you show them first? 

Depends on the person. I would be very, very picky. I did show some parts of The Cursed Heiress to two trusted friends. But I wouldn't be against showing my mom a few chapters of The Viscountess… Unfortunately, she does not speak a word of English and I am terrible at translations, so it's wishful thinking, lol. 

16 - Are there any writers (published authors and/or fanfic writers) who influenced your writing or art? Are there any artists that influence you?

For the published ones, Holly Black and Cassandra Clare have probably been my biggest help. Leigh Bardugo is also a newer inspo, and Spanish author Laura Gallego got me into fantasy, and anonymous author Bebi Fernández's raw and brutal prose have helped me find my voice. I have now bought George R.R Martin's Game of Thrones, looking for new sources to grasp. 

As for fandom-wise, the very first writer to inspire me unfortunately hasn't been active since the pandemic, and despite our differences, @hellospunkiebrewster 's writing and essays got me into Regency and its history. My thriving years were by her side, and I'm grateful of having had a great fandom friend and hyper. The Cursed Heiress, definitely. I think that my messages would resonate with many people. There's also The Viscountess: many people should see the messages Nicole, Anne and others have, and for what I have planned (and have been stalling out of laziness 🫣) would put things into perspective for many minorities and certain groups that are neglected by society and governments alike.  19- Do you write original fiction or create non-fandom art? 

I am now at the outlining stages of making The Cursed Heiress an original novel. I tried many times to make my own novel, but always dropped it. But now that I've been for years with it, I feel like this might be the one project I dreamed of publishing one day. It's tough and scary, but I'm loving the ride so far. 

Also, I have tried my hand with poetry, but it didn't have engagement and felt like talking to a wall, so I now feel discouraged. But if someone out there is interested, lmk 👀 

20-  What other hobbies do you have?

Apart from literature, I love make-up, skincare, cooking and making gifs and videoedits. I also love travelling and discovering new adventures and learning as many languages as I am capable. I also love listening to music. Basically anything that has to do with the humanities and art, I'll take it. Also, I am very invested in modern royal gossip. I know, not very republican of me… 🫣😅

I would love to participate more and share my opinions on characters of the show and how many themes and topics can have so many complex ramifications. I love how a lot of the characters are built in a way that applying a human point of view to their issues is not entirely possible but also humanity cannot be separated from them either. Their nature as robots, and how they experience trauma, and events that would be impossible for humans due to physical limitation (like how coding can force someone to do something against their will) make for such an interesting story to analyze!

But the truth is this fandom has made me very wary about doing such a thing. :(

I feel like things would be a lot more chill if people reblogged what they liked, ignored what they don't, and just all around were more civil about character interpretations. I've seen a lot of people being enraged and attacking others, or making vague posts that target whole groups within the fandom and it's actually very sad. Clearly people care a lot about these characters, which is wonderful, but putting them above real people and getting nasty to said people in consequence is something that needs to stop.

I understand getting frustrated or tired of seeing certain takes because you feel they are not taking into account this or that thing shown about the character, especially if it's a fave or comfort one. I've felt that too! But posts that are unnecessarily aggressive (and examples of the phrases I'll give are no quotes of anything as I haven't looked at the tag in more than half a year, more like vague examples of what has crossed my dash now and again for months now) that have phrases like "hey can we stop treating x character like blank?", "the fandom needs to acknowledge (subjective opinion) already", "people don't want to understand this about this character", "oh yeah everyone loves x but hates y I wonder why" . Or even posts that are downright poisonous towards the people that work on the show. I myself have my criticisms, but I don't want to see such intense hate about it.

This is a silly show in the internet. One I love with all my heart, and that has some seriously good moments, but I feel like taking a step back, remembering that this is a youtube fanfic role-play about fnaf characters that is so far removed from the base material that it became a whacky charming series to follow, would greatly help diminish the amount of discourse that has been growing for long. People interpreting a character differently from you is not illegal. It's not a moral failing. What you see in a character as a positive might be a horrible negative for someone else. This is shaped by your experience as a human being and other people will have different experiences that make them look at something completely differently than you. This is a good thing! It can lead to nice conversations that make you realize something you didn't take into account! But it's not your duty or your right to change their mind. The moment it starts turning into an argument it's best to step away. Admit you two simply don't take the same message or interpretation as the other person from the same scene and walk away. Be nice. Be kind. Fandom is meant to be fun. You can hold fictional characters close to your heart. Just don't go hurting someone real for the sake of defending someone fictional.

This year was my 5th Hypnovember! To be honest, it felt particularly hard-fought since I had a lot of life stuff happening in the background this month. (Nothing traumatic, don't worry.) "You can't leave this bookshop." "Oh, Crowley… Nothing lasts forever." "…No. No, I don't suppose it does."

I feel like this scene was exactly the same as:

"What does your exactly mean exactly? I feel like your exactly and my exactly are different exactlys."

The "Nothing lasts forever" line felt like not only a general misunderstanding of perspective on the situation like the "exactlys" line but also.. I think Aziraphale was repeating something Crowley must have once said to him long, long ago.

Possibly something Crowley once told him as a comfort to console him during a troubling moment and Crowley being Crowley gives him a gentle reminder that "nothing lasts forever" and that it's okay to let whatever bad thing might have happened go. It's life. Things will change and it's all going to be fine someday. It will be better.

Because Aziraphale's "Nothing lasts forever" sounded like an old conversation he was quoting to give Crowley the same feeling he felt at the time when he needed to hear something comforting for what seems like a bad situation (which I have an entire headcanon for what that situation might actually be for a later post.. or fanfic >_> lol).

But Crowley, stopping for a moment, looking up to the side to remember those words echoing back at him and thinking Aziraphale is telling him that "Nothing lasts forever" as in, things are always going to be changing no matter how important and ever lasting they once seemed. And to just let it go and move on.

For anyone that's been in a long term relationship, even the good ones can struggle with the simplest of misunderstandings like this.

I just really hope that in S3, we see a flashback mini-sode alluding to a big historical event that brings up this quote again. I swear it's like half a conversation from another time they were referring to here. Someday we'll know for sure….. sighs back to waiting….

I'm so glad that you have my ask & that you're going to slowly explodre in your Astarion x Reader fanfic! I love how Astarion realises that Reader is seeing through his facade!

1. How it makes him nervous & questions their intentions. Then he would wonder how they think about what they see 🥺

2. He would ask them as a way to tease them but desperately wants to know why they're doing this. When they explained it, he told them how puzzling they are

3. Just how much Reader insists that his consent matters & how he can change his mind even if he suggested it is something I definitely want for him!

4. He would mask it well but it does something for him every time they thank him 🥹

5. Reader would apologise even though they only did it to save him while Astarion is reassuring them that it's fine 😭

Here's my idea that I would love to hear your opinion! Just to let you know this is quite self-indulgent XD How would Astarion react to GN!Reader explaining to him the reason they always try to help others is because not only do they know how it felt to be helpless, they also know how much it meant to them when they got help when they need it the most?

Fuck, this is gonna be long and rambley and I apologize but god do I love the concept of this, and its something I have been putting little bits into my Astarion series (especially chapter 2 and 4). So first, I feel like I need to talk about Astarion not liking it when you help people when you first start out.

I love all of the posts and art that is made of Astarion admitting that he asked all the gods for help and none of them did, and about how he hates heroes since none ever came for him (including the post about the quote from The Last Unicorn - god it kills me).

And I feel like this makes for such an interesting dynamic when Tav/Reader is a bit of a do-gooder, since it exasperates and bewilders him so much. Maybe even angers him a bit -- especially in the case of a God worshipping, or blessed (like in the case for my series) Tav/Reader. At first his thoughts and opinions are entirely selfish, no one ever came for him, no God or Hero answered, where were you 200 years ago when he was crying and begging? No where. But here now, you were pouring your heart out and risking your neck for vulnerable idiots but he is right there - help him, focus on his tasks like the damn tadpole in your brains and the master vampire that could be lurking around any corner!

But as he falls more and more in love, I like to think that Astarion starts to realize how kismet it is that he met you when he did. That if you were alive 200 years ago and offered him a sliver of kindness he would have seen it as a weakness and seized the opportunity to drop you off back at the castle as another sacrificial lamb. He realizes that if your God never answered your prayer, or blessed you, etc. you may not even have ever been here. And what would his life be like if he hadn't met you? For a time I think he would worry about others taking advantage of your kindness and desire to always help (especially since he did that himself) and would definitely voice it to you. You would just shrug and agree, stating that people have and they probably would continue too. But that wouldn't ever stop you from doing the right thing.

Eventually, I like to believe that for a Tav/Reader of this nature and a non-ascended Astarion, your own kindness and desire to help is one of the things he loves most about you. So much so, that it starts to seep into him, re-igniting the long extinguished flame for such acts in his heart and soul. It definitely wouldn't make him completely change and flip his personality, he wouldn't start just giving things out and running a charity or something -- but I think he would start seeing the world a little brighter and he would want to be a slightly better participant in it as your partner.

In regards to Tav/Reader explaining why they help people the way they do, I feel like specific reasoning would have to lay in the hands of the reader or player - especially because everyone comes up with such creative, wonderful ideas for their characters. Like my Selune blessed Tav from the Talking to the Moon series (aka my tiefling bard Olympia) is this weird combination of just genuinely wanting to be seen as helpful and good for once, recognizing their privilege as a noble and wanting to use it for good, wanting to rebel from the expectations placed on them a bit and also they have this innate purpose that drives them, which is a big part of their blessing from Selune. But I feel like for a good general theme for this ask would be that saying of "The gentleness that comes, not from the absence of violence, but despite the abundance of it." That even if Reader/Tav had experienced a world that was not kind to you, that you found something good and kind and gentle and clung to it, something or someone else or maybe just yourself. And what an example you would be for Astarion.

At the moment I debate with someone on twitter and it is super frustrating because they are saying Mace is a potential villain because he hates the Sith and wants to kill Anakin in episode I (even through he doesn't admit it).

I appreciate you asking me this, but honestly it looks to me like this is a debate you just won't "win" and you should quit while you're ahead.

Firstly, because those are two arguments so ridiculous and baseless that they have to either

be made in bad faith, AKA you're arguing with someone who's literally grasping at straws and making bullshit arguments for the sake of having the last tweet. In which case you can quit interacting with them because this is a victory in and of itself.

be made by someone completely insane and/or who has made their own headcanon about it. In which case, you might as well quit because there's no way you'll change this person's mind.

But, secondly, being pro-Jedi on Twitter is hell.

I'm not kidding, there's literally SO many people who think the point of the Prequels is the Jedi's failure that if you try to dispel the notion, a rain of (factually incorrect) anti-Jedi arguments falls floods your notifications, and it inevitably devolves into "this guy missed the point of the Prequels".

I'm training myself more and more to take a page out of the Jedi's book and just "let go" because the shit I see sometimes is just infuriating. Like this one, I saw last night:

And also because last year, I got into an argument re: if Qui-Gon was a better master for Anakin than Obi-Wan (my opinion is "nope"). And I argued the hell out of my case. You know what I got in return?

Fucking nothing.

All I got was the people I was arguing against (who kept piling on on like the 5th tweet in a thread instead of reading everything from the beginning, which was messy in and of itself) just... stop replying.

At some point when you're in that deep, you think it'll inevitably end with your "opponent" going:

'well argued sir, you have completely changed my mind for I have now seen the truth; jolly good show'.

Instead all you get is... nothing. They stop replying.

You don't get the satisfaction of an admission of defeat and you don't wanna be the person spamming "WELL?! NOTHING TO SAY?!" because that's just pathetic.

So all you're left with is an hour of your life gone, WASTED proving "I know more about a fictional universe than you, Internet stranger".

My suggestion is: break the wheel, turn that outrage into creativity and instead of getting into debates with people whose minds you'll never change, write a fanfic/draw a comic/shoot a short film that will transfer the emotions you feel re: Windu to anyone witnessing it.

It's a much more productive approach than arguing with someone whose either grasping at straws or genuinely thinks MACE WANTED TO KILL A CHILD????!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

And the Everything In Between- Amity Park, America’s Most Haunted Town? (Not Clickbait)

Hey, this is just one of my future chapters coming out in the next couple of days. This is a Wesley Weston-centric chapter (because I just love the little goofball) and I wanted to post this because I had a fun time writing this! You don't have to read my fanfic to understand it btw, so it should be enjoyable for everyone! Hopefully, I wrote him right, lol.

Something is going on within the town called Amity Park, but is it all just a weird coincidence or something else more sinister? Wes Weston is on the case. 

[the video starts with static, before clearing up and showing a clip of a forest fire] 

“Destruction.” 

[The video goes to static again before switching to a video of an earthquake.] 

“Chaos.”

[The video goes staticy again] 

“And-” 

[The screen is static before it shows a low resolution video, hands were covering the lens before it went back to static again.] 

“ Come on, you worthless-!” 

[You could hear something hitting the camera, showing this time a blurry video of a person with orange hair before going to static again.] 

“Piece of-!” 

[The camera fizzes in and out a couple times.] 

“Junk!”  

[It settles on a blurry figure, before it slowly starts to tip over.] 

“No. no, no, no, no!” 

[ It falls] 

“God, my parents are going to murder me…” someone mutters. 

[the camera fizzes out one more time before it settles on an up close blurry figure. After a couple of minutes, the resolution changes to a more clear resolution. It’s a teen, around the ages of fourteen or fifteen. The boy has an unkept orange haircut, and green eyes.] 

“Alright, just one last tweak here and…” 

[ The boy smiles leaning back from his chair, to reveal he is wearing a basketball jersey, he smiles before shining a flashlight to his face] 

“And, death!”

[Cheap sounding thunderclaps rang as the teen boy flicked his lamp desk light on and off. He did this for a couple of seconds before  throwing the flashlight away, pushing the desklamp away and giving the viewer a serious look.] 

“My name is Wesley Weston, and up until now I was just like you all, living blissfully in my ignorance until I caught evidence of these!” 

[Wesley then shoved a couple pictures up towards the camera, all blurry and hard to see. The first being a blurry cloud of blue mist surrounding a school, the second a silhouette of what seems to be a giant robot with the night sky behind it, and the third, well it seems that his thumb was the main focus of that picture.] 

“Evidence that Amity Park is not just a normal town. Oh no,”

[The boy sets the pictures down before giving off a low chuckle.] 

“See, it is so much more than that. For the past two months I have been collecting evidence that something is going on with this town, something even the local government doesn’t know of yet.” 

[Wesley rolls a corkboard with tons of blurry pictures and red strings looping them all together all pointing too…] 

For you see folks, Amity Park, the site of an ancient hell hole connecting the living with the dead! It has been recorded since ancient times, long before colonizers took-” 

-Pause- 

The Wesley on the screen stopped mid-rant, before a tanned finger came into view and turned the computer screen off. Once it did all Wesley could see was his reflection, staring back at him with a bored stare as the principal put her computer away.

Principal Ishiyama simply stared at the fourteen year-old, Wesley was pretty sure it was because she thought she knew more than him, when in fact she did not.  

“Mr. Weston,..” She pursed her lips almost as if she was contemplating something, “It seems that your uh…hobby is getting out of hand.” 

Wesley couldn’t help but scoff, “This, Dr. Ishiyama, is not a ‘hobby’,” Yes, he did air quotes, “I am simply informing the public about the truth of Amity Park!” 

“By calling the settlers of the 1800’s colonizers?” She deadpanned as lift an eyebrow.

“I said what I said,” Wesley sniffed. He even allowed himself to smirk when he heard the principal mutter an agreement. 

But, the principal sill voiced out her meaningless concerns, “Regardless Mr. Weston, these videos spread misinformation, you can’t just say this stuff without proper research- which you do not have when it comes to ghosts!” Wesley rolled his eyes at that comment. Sure that’s what she thinks, but she doesn’t have an observant bone in her body, not that it’s her fault though. It has taken years for Wes to hone his skills till they were on point. Besides, he has photographic evidence. 

“And of course, you’re not listening to me.” The bell rang in time with the principal’s deep breath and when it was all over Principal Ishiyama gave Wesley a hall pass. 

“Just go to class, we’ll talk about this later.” Wesley simply nodded, thanking the principal for her time and walked to his last period of the day, World History, one of the only classes he likes. 

He gave Mr. Lancer his slip of paper, just as the mid-forties man was finishing up roll-call. The teacher didn’t bat an eye with him though, most likely because he was use to Danny’s frequent tardiness. Like now for instance, Danny’s seat is empty and he’s going to come in in three seconds…

“Ah, late again Mr. Fenton.” Mr. Lancer didn’t even pose it as a question, while the out of breath teen wheezed out a ‘here’ before slumping in his seat. 

Tch, typical Fenton, honestly. 

“Right, as we have been doing for the past couple of days, we will be finishing off our presentations. Mr. Weston, you’re up.” 

All right, he has this in the bag! Wesley walked with confidence from his seat to the front of the classroom. 

Truly, he has been working on this for the past four days. 

He inserted a flash drive into one of the plug-ins into the computer, while the computer was warming up, he turned off the lights of the classroom and turned on the projector. 

Did he mention he also skipped sleep for two of those days? 

“Alright,” He whispered once the projector came to life. 

“Friends, enemies, the bully who makes my life miserable.” 

“Hey.” Dash said, waving his hand. 

“I would like to ask you a question: Do you feel like Amity Park is safe? A quote-unquote safest town in all of America?” He waits a couple of moments before continuing. 

“Well I think not, for you see something has been forming in the shadows, something sinister, dark, and ones that reeks of death. People-!” He takes the clicker away from Mr. Lancer’s hands and clicks to his powerpoint. 

“I present to you the 10 reasons why Amity Park is a gateway to Hell!” His classmates were all gaping with awe and obvious interest. 

But then Star had to ruin it. 

“Uh, Wesley…it says that there’s three hundred slides to this powerpoint.” 

“Oh that’s great, you could count. Anyways- before I get to reason number one, we must first know about the background.” He clears his throat, “As you can see according to the-” 

But before he could continue, the lights turned on, he was about to yell at the person who was responsible for it, only to gulp when it was Mr.Lancer standing next to the light switch. “Mr. Wesley, it appears you have misread the project parameters, I specifically assigned you to the formation of the Byzantine empire. But I do love the spirit.” Mr. Lancer said as he wrote something on his pad of paper. 

“Does this mean I get an A?” This, for some reason, earned a laugh from Mr.Lancer. 

“Hardly, F-.” 

“What-” 

“Say anything more and I’ll see you in detention.” 

“But, I have photographic evidence- look!” He quickly took out the three pictures from the MiTube video out of his pocket. Whether it was an act of mercy or plain curiosity, his teacher took the photos and eyes them critically. 

“Mr. Weston, this is just your thumb.” 

“Yes it is my thumb, but if you look closely right at that left corner you will see a-” 

“That is two weeks detention, Mr. Wesley.” Wesley couldn’t help but shout at the sky, how dare the education system fail him!

Here's the thing about fanfic in the jetlag community. THEY FUCKING READ IT!! its not like the flipping mcyt fandom,,

If the boys have boundaries, they need to communicate that with the wider fandom,,, with the information available to us its 'we know it exists don't spam us'... I am terrified of ben doyle reading any of my fanfic,,, and as long as you don't send it to them its fine!! I am not doing the MCYT flashbacks where we send creators are E-rated fanfics again. I'm going to write my cute alien fic and QPR Ben and Adam even tho I know they are both presenting as straight... nad you can fight me on that.

Well first of all, they are 100% fine with fic. I haven't been in the fandom proper for a while now, but when the OG Twitter Discord was made I joined for a couple of days and the boys did too. Ben said they were fine with fanfic being written:

But also, just a lesson in what a boundary is:

A boundary is not a restriction on what other people can and can't do. A boundary does not prevent people from doing anything. A boundary is a personal thing, which you yourself have to uphold. If any of the boys have boundaries against fanfiction, that doesn't mean we all have to stop writing and enjoying it, it means you don't shove it in their faces. Don't send it to them, don't post it on platforms like Twitter or Reddit that they actively and frequently use, but that's it! And frankly, even that is more than is necessarily expected. If you wanted to post fics on Twitter or Reddit you could, and they could block you so they don't see it.

The internet is a vast place filled with all sorts of people. You cannot make everyone happy. Everyone will be uncomfortable about different things. It is your responsibility as an individual to cater your own online experience. It doesn't matter if you're famous, it's still your job!
