Humming softly, you stared at the words in your book with a smile while occasionally admiring the beautiful sky. Nothing really concerned you that much and everything was fine! Well you mean..zoro and sanji were acting rather strange lately to you but the thought of them having any interest in you completely flew over your head.

Why would they? Sanji flirts with literally anything that has boobs, and Zoro is well..Zoro!

A rather loud and ‘romantic voice’ snapped you out of your thoughts and your reading as you blinked.

“Y/N-SWAAAANN!!!~ i have another drink for you my dear!”

You chuckled and raised an eyebrow at the man who was running towards you with heart shaped pupils and a tray with your favorite drink..again.

“Uh sanji?..i haven’t even finished the one you gave me just thirty minutes ago!” You laughed softly. Referring to the drink on the railing he’d made you so you wouldn’t ‘die of thirst’ and because his beloved Y/N needed to be pampered.

Sanji then grinned, dramatically getting down one knee like he was bowing to you. “Oh but my lovely Y/N..you’ll need backups! And…” he then stood up and got rather close to you with a smile, the smell of smoke filled your nostrils from his cigarette and you fought back the urge to scrunch your nose from the contact of the smoke. He smiled and kissed your hand.

Huh..weird..but then again he did that with every girl! Right..?

You stared into his sea blue eyes awkwardly and then gave a friendly smile. “Oh..well thanks I guess Sanji!” You Saïd while you turning back to your book. Sanji felt a pang in his heart as he sighed.

He plastered on a smiled and slowly walked away..almost like he was sad or disappointed. You glanced up at him curiously from your book but brushed it off while he sulked in the kitchen without you knowing of course.

A few minutes passed by and the nice breeze passed, slowly flowing through your hair. The pages of your book started to scatter and you scoffed, quickly book marking it and stretching.

The faint sound of footsteps caught your attention.

“Hm…must be Nami or Luffy..”

You thought as you sipped the first drink Sanji had given you.

Suddenly then, your book was about to fall off the railing and into the deep sea. Panicked, your eyes widened as you you reached out for it but then saw a rather large and masculine hand catch the book with little ease. You then felt a strong hand on your hip from behind.

The sudden warm sensation on your skin caused you to turn around to the person who just saved your book.

Storm grey eyes looked back at you and silence fell upon the both of you.

“..Hey..be careful next time.”

A deep monotone voice said to you almost quietly. Looking up you saw no one other than the green haired swordsman himself, Zoro.

Giving a soft yet platonic smile and gently took the book out of his hand.

“Hah, thanks Zoro! That book Robin gave me was almost gone!” You Saïd as you sat the book down on your side table you got for yourself to set your drinks on.

He stared into your eyes for a moment and made a grunting sound. “Yea..maybe try to set it on the table next time?..”

“Yea i don’t know why I didn’t do that in the first place..”

You Saïd with a blink, trying to make it seem like you were actually pondering instead of slowly trying to scoot away from zoro because he was in your space bubble for whatever reason..

Suddenly his grip seemed to tighten on you, causing you to glance down at his hand and then up at him. He slowly loosened his grip and rubbed circles with his thumb on it, trying to be as gentle as he could.

Your eyebrows couldn’t help but raise in confusion.

“Uh hey zoro why is your-”

“Did Nami tell you when we’re docking on the next island?..”

Narrowing your eyes you just gave up and leaned your back on the railing as he stood in front of you, one hand on the railing and the other on your hip.

“Hmm…she said in about an hour..”

He stared at you intently for a moment.

“Well are you heading anywhere when we dock?..”

“..no, I think shopping can wait until tomorrow”

You then grin as you get an idea. What if you invited a few of your friends to lighten the mood with Zoro and Sanji? It was perfect!

Nothing could happen to ruin the night!…

Right?

You then look up at Zoro with an encouraging smile as you got off the railing.

“Oh! I have an idea..what if we went to the bar together once we dock on the island? I know you would love a drink..” you said playfully hitting zoros shoulder in which he responded with a scoff and a smug smile you always saw him with.

“I’ll even invite Sanji and the others too!”

His smile then immediately disappeared and the glimmer you saw in his eyes faded. He grumbled a reply and pulled away from you rather quickly. Almost seeming to storm off like he was annoyed or angry at something…maybe specifically even someone?..

huh that’s weird..!

You just shrugged his obvious annoyance off and sipped your drink while hot summer sun made your skin warm up and glow.

You stretched as you felt the ship dock on a new island, a grin spread across your face as you finally stepped foot on land for the first time in weeks.

It was a little after sunset by now and you went over to get Sanji and Zoro to get some drinks, the others respectfully had other things to do or had shops to attend so it was just you three.

On the way to the local bar you saw a few miles ahead, Sanji kept blabbering on about some romantic things and complimenting you non stop for sone reason.

You respectfully said a thank you and went on to another topic in the conversation, causing the both of them to frown or narrow their eyes at you.

Sitting down in one of the seats at the bar you smiled at the bar tender and ordered some drinks, after you started some small talk with zoro who kept staring at you intently or seeming to move closer. You just would raise an eyebrow and ignore it.

A hand on your thigh stopped you from finishing your sentence as you slowly turned over your shoulder to see a man who was obviously drunk, he slowly crept his hand up to your inner thigh and you just stared, asking the man what he was doing.

“Oh nothing sweet-cakes..you just have such a fucking good body..couldn’t help myself.” He slurred, his hands slowly sliding under your shirt. Your eyes widened and you were about to do something when a hand grabbed the guys arms rather roughly.

So rough that it was turning red, causing the man to hiss in pain. He turned toward the one who had grabbed his so aggressively and growled.

“What’s the big idea asshole?” He spat while glaring at the swordsman with good instincts.

Before anything else could even happen, the man suddenly had a foot on his back. Sanji said nothing as the drunk man stumbled and groaned from the kick.

“Come with us.”

The sound of Zoro sheathing his bloody swords rang through Sanji’s ears while the smell of smoke filled the swordsman’s nostrils.

Sanji’s eyes were covered by a shadow while he sighed, almost clutching his cigarette.

The corpse before the two pirates was cut up and brutally kicked.

“This is never going to work..” Zoro heard the cook mutter while he threw the corpse in a near by dumpster.

“….”

The two men eyes then both locked, giving each other a knowing look. They both absolutely loathed the idea but..

“We should work together marimo..”

“…and why in hell would we do that cook?”

“Use your brain moss head…it’s clearly obvious that neither of us are making any progress with them..so maybe the results might go faster if we try to win them over together..”

He thought about the idea for a split second..

“Fine. Just don’t screw it up..got it curly brows?”

“Yea whatever mosshead just try not to intimidate my beloved Y/N to much..”

“What’s taking them so long out there?..” you mumbled to yourself as you sipped your drink. Surely a talk with that man couldn’t have taken that long right? It was getting late and the bar was even about to close.

The sound of the back ally doors opening and shutting back suddenly caught your attention as you you jump a little from the sudden noise while slowly turning around to indeed see the swordsman and cook of the crew.

Smiling while turning around in your chair you greeted them.

“Hey guys..what took so long?..the bars about to close-”

Without another word you felt arms wrap around you and the smell of Sanjis cologne seeming to fill the air.

Strong hands slowly slid on your shoulders and squeezed them gently before wrapping around your collarbone and rubbing the area gently. The feeling of calloused fingers massaging your skin and of a chin resting on top of your head made your skin tingle and shiver..just what were they trying to do..?

Slowly moving your body to get out out of their embrace, you had enough of their touch for a day but the two pairs of arms only tightened around you immediately.

“Guys? What are You doing??…whats going on with you guys today..?”

You said with a sigh while trying to gently push away from them away again.

This only caused zoro to scoff and turn your head close enough to his so he could kiss you passionately, his tongue licking your bottom lip slowly while his hands slid down to your waist and giving a light squeeze.

“Your such an idiot sometimes.”

He said bluntly with a hint of annoyance.

You then felt something wet on your shirt and looked down..was that blood..?

Now taking a look at the both of them you saw that their clothes had a decent amount if blood on them. Eyes widening, your breath hitched.

“Um..guys what’s that on your clothes?..”

They both stayed silent and sanji just gave a loving smile, lifting your chin up as he gave you another passionate kiss.

Starting to feel a lot of things..like unheard..uncomfortable and most of all..unsafe…? you tried to push away from but only got neck kisses from zoro while he gripped you tighter.

Sanji leaned his lips close to your lips to whisper against them, his voice soothing yet so..off putting..

“Shh Y/N my dear…you wouldn’t understand so we made our feelings clear…you’re ours to take now after all~…”

Life began to feel so boring. The days blended into one another and suddenly we’re in march. Staying up late catching up on your favorite show because there is nothing better to do right now. One piece was such a breathe of fresh air, full of adventure and characters that seem amazing to be around and explore the world with. You wished to be in the world where u can freely be who you wanted, the world where you weren’t shackled by the burdens of reality.

You’ve been around all the corners of the internet so you know of shifting and astral projection which is exactly what seems to be going on right now. Rewatching episodes leading up to the time skip around 4 in the morning till your eyes flutter shut. Suddenly the wafting scent of the ocean filled your nose. “ Is she a stowaway?” “ How have we just found her we haven’t been on land for over a week now”. You opened your eyes to the snout of a reindeer and other very familiar faces.

You sat up so fast knocking into the poor doctor. Panic set through you because the first assumption anyone would have is that they’re in a dream or— congrats you’ve finally lost your damn mind. “ Who are you people”.

“ We’ve got the same question for you”

“ well I asked first”

The blunt part of a sword was thrust into your face by a very angry green swordsman. Fear etched across your face you give him a once over. Zoro. To your left was Robin and chopper holding his snout on her lap. There should be absolutely no reason that you’re in this world with these wacky 15th century pirates from your goofy anime show. Your voice shakes as you try to convince the green haired man to stop threatening your life.

“ Listen this is surely a misunderstanding, I really don’t understand how I have gotten here and I’m not really too sure who you people are.”

Maybe if they think that I don’t know who they are I can figure out a way to get out of this mess without ruining the story.

“ What is your last memory before you woke up on our ship” a voice from behind spoke. Turning to the left at the top of the stairs was Nami with Sanji following behind her.

“ I was laying in my bed falling asleep and then I woke up here”

After that you were bombarded with questions, what’s your name, your age, if an 8ft skeleton can see your underwear and it nearly drained the life out of you. The sun was now beginning to set after such a long day of being interrogated by the crew you used to watch through a screen. The captain was sitting on the head of the Sunny watching the day fade away when he stretched his arm to you pulling you to sit with him.

It was quiet for a while and nerves began to set in. Does he see through me? I know a lot of people don’t give luffy the credit but he’s way more intelligent than you’d think. “ What is it like where you’re from y/n” he spoke as he turned to face you.

“ Very different.”

“ Tell me about it please”

The sun completely faded into night and the stars littered the sky while you told luffy about “ where you’re from” and he was absolutely entranced by the world he’s never been. You ended up telling Luffy the truth about your origins, somewhat about himself, there was just something so compelling and trusting about him you didn’t think nothing of it. You slept in the girls room next to Nami that night, thinking about the next step and getting home.

Was this really a dream or did your desire to escape mundane life make you shift into this world of unknown.

The next day you went to eat breakfast with the crew and luffy starts spouting all the things you told him the night before. With seemingly no thought behind his words as he swallowed everything on his plate, though his crew members all stopped to stare at you in confusion.

“ I thought you said you weren’t from here?”

“ You said you didn’t know how you got here”

“ Well I wasn’t exactly lying, I really don’t know how or why I’ve been transported into your world. I just didn’t want to scare you or make you think I’m crazy with all of this.”

Over the next few days you were beginning to settle with the crew, you spent hours getting to know everyone and having the most fun you’ve had in years. Nami and Robin were curious about your world and you were more than elated to tell them all the things you enjoyed. The boys liked when you played their silly games, Sanji was obsessed with everything about you and loved having you perched on the counter when he was cooking so you can serve as his taste tester.

Zoro only just began to acknowledge you after finding out you also had a love for drinking, it became really easy to bond with the man. You knew you had to go back but what’s the harm in spending time with such a loving group of people, it’s not everyday someone is given your experience don’t waste it being worried.

You were able to convince Nami to give you a blank sheet of paper where you wrote all the things you knew about shifting and astral projection. You’ve been with the crew over a week now spending every night trying to shift back to your world. Sometimes you feel close others are strangely disturbed by Robin and Nami whether they are sparking up a conversation with you or knocking things over which disturbs your concentration.

The next few days you began to see birds meaning you were finally reaching land, the sabody archipelago. You know the way this arch ends and you need to go home now before you spend two years on an unknown island doing who knows what because YOU aren’t a straw hat and you have no place where you can learn to polish your skills.

The bubbly island became visible and you’d be reaching it by midday, while you were sitting on the head of the Sunny with Luffy again he asked you his million dollar question.

“ Y/n join my crew” he smiled. Your cheeks burned and you had to turn away from the boy whose smile brightened all your days.

“ Luffy I would love to but—”

“ Great- EVERYONE Y/N” you clasped your hand over his mouth.

“ Luffy l can’t join your crew. I have to go home I don’t even belong in this world”

“ Why do you want to leave” sadness dripped from his voice.

“ Yeah, we’ve been having so much fun” the small doctor announced from the deck.

“ It has been very fun I’ll admit but I don’t belong here with you guys. I’ve got a whole life in my world— and a family and just so much to do.” You reasoned.

The rest of the day the crew seemed angry and distant, you simply couldn’t understand why. When they all found out where you really came from they said they would help you get home. During dinner that night you were seated between luffy and Zoro who barley uttered a word while hushed conversations were surrounding the rest of the table. It was insufferable and reminded you of elementary school when someone didn’t want to be your friend anymore and told everyone about it.

“ Luffy are you upset with me? I haven’t done anything wrong”

“ Why do you want to leave? You just joined the crew and were on a new island”

“ I never said I was joining your crew luffy”

“ you know the captain doesn’t take no for an answer y/n” Zoro chuckled.

With a huff you stood up everyone’s eyes landing on you. “ Are you all acting this way because you don’t want me to leave?”

“ Why would we want a crew member to leave us?” Nami’s voice wobbled as tears formed in her eyes. Are they serious? When did u ever agree or tell these people that you were a part of their crew.

“ Listen closely all of you. You have to understand I am not from here, I never joined the straw hats, and I don’t even have any powers I can’t protect myself.”

“ That’s why you have me Y/n-chwaaan”

“ ignore that idiot cook but you have Luffy and I, we wouldn’t let anything happen to you”

“ Who is an idiot you damn moss ball !”

A fight between the cook and the swordsman broke out and you would usually find everything hilarious but…

These people have convinced themselves you are one of them and they don’t want you to leave. You decided tonight will be the night where you will go home with or without their help especially because you already know what’s in store the next day. Laying next to Nami that night waiting for her breathing to even out so you can concentrate with no interruptions you hear soft sobbing.

“ Are you alright Nami..”

“ Y/n I know you want to go back but can you stay a little longer we all care about you and enjoy having you around. We really feel like you’re one of our crew mates”

“ Sure, I’m not missing anything important right now” lying is better than letting this girl cry all night. When her breathing finally evened out you were able to try again.

Eyes fluttering open you were finally in your own bedroom. It was just as you left it, your iPad paused on the intro to one piece and the sun was showing through your curtains.

I really did it.

Life began as usual but you had a newfound appreciation for all the little things that made life worth it. Friends and family found your new outlook pleasant and you finally felt like you turned on a new leaf. While you were getting ready for bed applying all of your creams and oils the Tv in the living room turned on.

Wealth, Fame, Power.

A chill ran through your spine, you haven’t watched the show in over a month in fear of being brought back into that world by some odd chance. Getting up to turn off the tv something in the hallway made a noise. The fear of someone or something being in your house had you clenching on the door knob for dear life.

Just open the door nothing is there you’re only scaring yourself.

Opening the door and walking down the dark hallway into the softly illuminated living room the episode of the strawhats finally meeting up after two years was playing.

“ My favorite arch I should rewatch soon”

“ Why don’t you live it instead?” A voice from behind hissed.

You felt your heart thumping in your ears as you slowly turned to be met with a very angry Captain.

It’s Sanji time 🎉🎊🥳

Sanji is an observant man.

Being observant is an important trait when it comes to being a chef besides knowing how to cook. You have to make sure the food is prepared as it should be, otherwise it becomes inedible.

Sanji’s great observation skills weren’t being used on food this time…

It is you who has his attention, and he can’t help but notice how little you consume from your plate… if at all.

He may be caught up with the moss head’s rude remarks towards him, but he never missed how you nibble on whatever was on your plate before placing your fork down.

He also didn’t miss the scrunched up look on your face, showing poorly veiled disgust.

At first, he thought the worst.

He thought it was his cooking.

It had to be! Someone as perfect as you couldn’t handle his unworthy plate of sludge!

But then you made yourself a sandwich the following day despite Sanji insisting on making it for you, and your face contorted go that same disgusted expression.

As you left the barely eaten sandwich to go to the bathroom, he thought to himself.

…Was there something wrong with the food supply? Perhaps something spoiled and it wasn’t necessarily his cooking?

A small flicker of hope was visible in the blonde chef’s eyes as the thought of your disgust wasn’t a result of him.

So with that, he checked the food, the dates, the portions and cleanliness, but he found nothing out of the ordinary.

Perhaps the dishes weren’t cleaned well and it got old food residue in his cooking? He already cleans everything top to bottom… but he’ll be more thorough if it means you finally finish a plate he makes.

Present day…

Tonight’s dinner was simple but flavorful.

Sanji cooked to the right amount of time and at the right temperature. The seasoning was reasonable but gave the food enough flavor to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

Everyone dug in immediately, never disappointed with the food that is made by Sanji, while you stared at your plate, noting the contents as you moved some food away with a fork to view the insides.

Finally, you grabbed your knife and cut a slice out of the juicy chicken before bringing it to your lips.

You nibbled some of the juicy chicken and roasted carrots before offering the rest of your food to Luffy, who smiled broadly at you.

“Is something wrong with the food, (y/n)-chwan?”

You looked away from Luffy to stare at Sanji, who sat across from you. Everyone at the table piped down a little to listen not so subtly, adding to the pit in your stomach.

“No, Sanji. The food is great.” You stated matter of factly.

“That’s a relief! Are you gonna finish?” He tilted his head while smiling enthusiastically.

“I’m not that hungry. I ate.” You said dismissively.

“Don’t shit in our mouths and call it chocolate cake, you didn’t eat anything this morning.” Zoro snorted.

Sanji scowled at the greenette before he grabbed his polished shoe off his foot and chucked it at Zoro, nailing him in the forehead. While Zoro fell over, grabbing his head in pain, Sanji turned and smiled warmly at your stunned face.

“Zoro is right, you haven’t eaten today, (Y/n)-chwan-“

“-The FUCK!?” Zoro hissed out, but Sanji ignored him.

“-you should put some food in that tummy of yours.” Sanji finished in a lovey dovey tone before snapping his head towards Luffy.

“Luffy do NOT TOUCH THAT PLATE.”

Luffy paused midway, almost touching the tip of the chicken on your plate with his finger before retracting his arm in disappointment.

You looked between Luffy and Sanji before gulping and picking up your fork.

“…I’ll try to eat.”

Nami and Chopper glanced at you worriedly, Chopper being more so nervous as you took a bite.

Despite you finally eating his food, Sanji couldn’t help but find your reluctance a bit off putting. You clearly weren’t telling him something, and it bothered him…

Everyone continued on eating and fighting off Luffy while Sanji stared at you intently. He wouldn’t be able to watch you for long though, as Zoro didn’t forget the shoe that was thrown at his head…

Nobody seen you come out of the lounge for an hour.

While Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp tried playing a game without you involved, they were visibly becoming bored and restless without you there.

Everyone was up to their own business, trying to find something distracting on this lazy day. Everyone… except Sanji.

He was in the lounge with you, cleaning the dishes while you helped him silently.

Although the rushing of water from the sink prevented most tiny sounds from being heard, it didn’t hide the strange gurgling coming from your stomach.

At first, Sanji assumed that maybe you were still hungry. But the moment he entertained the idea of preparing a second plate, you shut him down with a horrified “no!”, which was followed by you correcting your tone.

This once again made Sanji think that his food was the problem, and it didn’t help that your face turning an unhealthy color…

Oh.

Oh shit.

Sanji quickly turned to study your face more closely. While you were focused on scrubbing the food off the plate, your hands were shivering violently as your (s/c) flesh gained an unhealthy hue.

“(Y/n), are you ok?” Sanji asked despite knowing the obvious.

You opened your mouth to speak before your body wrenched forward. Your bandaged hand quickly covered your mouth as you turned to the trash can before gripping the edges and vomiting into it.

Sanji was quick to rush to your side as you shook violently. You were spitting, gagging, and vomiting until there was nothing left, leaving your stomach empty and twisted.

The entire time, Sanji rubbed your back and comforted you. He was naturally grossed out by the vomit, but his worry and guilt overpowered that instinctual disgust tenfold.

‘I forced them to eat that sludge I dare called lunch…’ he thought to himself.

Something must be wrong with the food! The way he cooks! Everything!

As carefully as he could, he led you to a chair to settle in while he poured you a glass of cold water.

Sweat was forming on your face as your leg bounced. Sanji immediately approached you and leaned over to swipe the hair out of your face, completely unbothered by the sweat sticking to his hand.

“…I’m sorry, Sanji…”

Sanji’s heart melted more than it already did as he gently placed the glass on the table.

“Oh (Y/n), it was my fault for feeding you that garbage. I clearly didn’t make any of my food even close to being edible, so don’t be sorry for my own ignorance.” Sanji said sweetly.

“Your food is amazing, Sanji. I just can’t handle food in general.” You sighed.

You were feeling relief as the stomach upset passed slowly, but it left a sickly pit in your stomach… one that needed to be filled with food.

“What do you mean by that?” Sanji asked.

“I… I have what you’d call a sensitive stomach.” You smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of your head.

“I basically can’t handle any heavy foods, greasy food, milk, bread… super salty food…” you covered your face with your hand.

“Your food is delicious… but some of it has stuff I can’t keep down…” you finished.

Sanji blinked once. Twice. Three times.

…that’s it?

A sensitive tummy?

That’s why you couldn’t keep your food down?

“With all due respect, (Y/n)-chwan… Why didn’t you tell me this? I could’ve made you a dish specifically for your dietary needs.” He asked gently, trying not to guilt you.

“You already work so hard to provide amazing food and you have a ship full of people to feed, I couldn’t stack strict requirements on that.” You muttered.

Sanji’s heart swelled at that.

“Oh (Y/n)-chwan, you’re so thoughtful and generous! I’m happy you keep my well-being in mind~” he swooned.

“…but that won’t stop me from making you a dish fit for your needs. What kind of chef would I be if I can’t serve suitable meals for all walks of life?” He frowned a little before replacing it with his usual smile.

“Now! Sit right there, drink that glass of water, and relax! I’ll whip you something up fit for your belly!”

We'll Always Protect You (Yandere Strawhats x reader)

So, I just finished the Skypiea arc, and I wanted to write some blurbs on how each of the strawhats would protect you. Remember to like, comment, and reblog if you enjoyed this. Thank you so much.

At the end of the day, Luffy is a child, or at least he acts like one. He thinks he deserves everything, including your time and attention.

"Come oooonnnn (Y/N)!" Luffy droned, grabbing your arm in an attempt to pull you away from the fruit you were inspecting. "I'm bored."

"You didn't have to come, Luffy." You say as you pay for a melon and gently place it in your basket. "Either way, it was my turn to shop." Luffy ignores your words with a frown, continuing to pull you away.

With a huff you face him, "Look Luffy, there's like, two more things were need." You show him the shopping list, pointing to a few more spices you needed. "Why don't you go get the last few spices and I'll get the rest. We can meet back up at the ship when we're done."

Luffy thinks about it for a minute before smiling, snatching a few barries from your bag. "Alright, as long as it means we'll be done sooner." Quickly, he's bolts off, running towards the other stores and stalls.

You let out a breath, happy to get a few seconds alone. You look back at the list, just a few more things left, you should finish shopping before afternoon if you find everything you need quickly.

"Hey, watch we're you're going!" You let out an oof on impact, bumping into some random man. He looks, and smells drunk, and his face looks anything but pleased as he stares down at you in anger.

"I'm sorry, I didn't..." Your words are caught in your throat as you feel the hand around your wrist tighten painfully, he must've grabbed on to you when you ran into him.

"Don't you know how rude it is, you could've hurt me." You were doubtful that was true, you were much smaller than him, you're surprised he even felt you. Shaking your head, you stare at the man in fear.

"I really didn't mean to." You said meekly as you try to stop the shaking in your body. The drunk man eyes your bag, which was filled with food, and of course, berries. The man smirks and grips you tighter as he slowly reaches towards your bag.

You heard the punch before you actually saw it, the man falling to the ground with a hard thud, the people around you gasp in fear as they stare at you. You had which was now free was shaking as you back away slowly from the now unconscious man.

"(Y/N)!" You hear Luffy yell, watching as his arm retract back to a normal length. He runs up to you, eyes wide as he looks all over you for any injuries. Luffy was panting, panic all over his face and unaware of the fearful people around him. When his eyes meet your wrist, a scowl decorates his face, holding onto you gently.

"He hurt you...I'm sorry." He whispers, chest heaving as the man groans, blood dripping down his nose. Luffy give him a blank stare before taking your hand.

"Come on, let's go."

"Zoro, where are you!"

Not too long ago, you helped said child find his mom after he got lost in the forest while playing. You found him while exploring the island, all scared and helpless. What were you supposed to do, not help him?

Well, apparently not, since helping the kid meant abandoning your traveling partner, Zoro. You left him so you could safely get the kid out of the forest, which meant leaving Zoro to get lost.

Now you're forced to look for him afterwards. You knew when you found him, he would be pissed, but you were too tired to think about that in the current moment. You yawn as you yell for Zoro again, looking around for any signs of him.

"Zoro, come on!" You yell, groaning, "I'm tired, I want to go home."

Crack

You turn you head, heart beating out of your chest. You slowly move closer to the sound, carefully peering into the bushes in front of you. Taking a deep breath, you prepare yourself for what might come, annoyance crawling up you as you come face to face with Zoro.

Marching up to him, you cross your arms and snarl, "Jeez Zoro, where have you been, it's dark out." Zoro looks unfazed at your clear irritation, simply staring at you with a raised brow.

"You left me." He said, slightly smirking as you huff.

"Yeah, to help a kid." You waved your arms around for emphasis, "I didn't expect you to get lost for the rest of the day."

Zoro takes his place beside you, looking at you with a sharp stare, "Don't leave again."

Your role your eyes, "It was for a kid."

"Don't care."

Sanji loves cooking for you, always trying new recipes and learning new things just to impress his favorite person. He loved cooking for anyone, but it was different with you.

However, he absolutely hated when you ate something anything else made. He always thought the worst would happen, what happened if it was poisoned, or you were allergic, or rotten?

So, when you were offered a chicken skewer from a food stall, it took everything in him to not slap it out of your hand in disgust. It looked good enough, nothing compared to his cooking, but it looked edible. But nothing could calm the beating of his heart as he watched the food get closer and closer to your mouth.

"(Y/N)! Wait!" He quickly took the skewer from you, watching as you became confused at his action. Sanji laughed nervously, adverting his gaze from your questioning look.

"It's just...you shouldn't take food from random people." He quickly regained his composure, moving to throw the skewer away. "I wouldn't want you to get sick or anything."

You nodded, though it was hard to ignore the loud grumbling of your stomach, "Come on, why don't we go back, and I'll make something for you."

"Checkmate."

"Darn 'it, you beat me again." Robin laughs as you let out a breath of frustration. You've been wasting away time on the ship by playing chess with Robin. While you weren't as good as her, it was fun to play.

"Would you like to play again?" She offers, already reseating the chess bord. You nod, seeing that she's gotten everything ready to play. As Robin readies the next round, you hear someone run up towards your table, seeing both Usopp and Chopper smiling at you.

"(Y/N), we're playing hide and seek with Luffy. You wanna play?" Chopper giggles, jumping up and down in excitement. Before you could get a word out, Robin is speaking for you.

"Sorry, they're already playing with me." Robin says, watching as Chopper's face falls. You give him a sorry look as Robin makes her first move.

"Your turn." You wave bye to the two, turning your head to make your move.

Many minutes past but of course, Robin wins. As you end, Robin asks if you would like to play one more round, but this time you refuse. Her face falls for a second, before quickly becoming a small smile, which was obviously fake shown by her tense demeanor.

"Alright." She says as she slowly picks up the pieces, "Luffy's been pretty bored lately, you should go check up on him." She mentions off handedly. At the mention of Luffy's name, you tense up, looking around nervously.

"Um...actually, why don't we play just one more round." She smiles, raising her eyebrows in mock surprise.

"Oh, change of heart?" She starts putting the pieces back in place, preparing for the next game.

"(Y/N)?! Oh, (Y/N), you're awake, great." You're awoken to Chopper's worried voice, which is surprisingly soothing. He's hovering over you, looking at you with intense eyes.

"What happened." You had little memory of the previous night.

"You came to me complaining about a cold and then later that night, you fainted." He looked down, ashamed, and you could tell tear were forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I should've helped you sooner."

You sit up slowly, removing the cold towel from your forehead. "Don't worry about it, Chopper, at least I'm better now."

Chopper looks up at you, large tears streaming down his face, "You're not mad at me." He whispers desperately. Your nod causes him to jump up onto your bed, hugging you as best as he could.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much." He snuggles into you as pet his head. Suddenly, he shoots up, jumping down from the bed and rushing towards his cabinet filled to the brim with medicine.

"Oh, I almost forgot, you need to take this." He hands you a small vile filled with some green liquid. It looks thick, and definitely not like something you want to consume. "It doesn't taste good, but it'll help."

You take a deep breath before gulping down the strange concoction. It goes slowly down your throat, causing you to nearly choke. It takes a while before it goes down, the taste remaining stuck in your mouth.

Chopper takes the vile back from you, smile at you like you accomplished something great. "Good, good." He nods to himself before sitting down at a chair near your table.

Your eyes become droopy, and a yawn overwhelms your senses. You just woke up; you shouldn't feel this tired. Chopper urges you to lay back down, moving your blanket up and smoothing it out nicely. Before you know it, you're out like a light.

"Don't worry (Y/N), I'll keep you safe until you better."

Usopp couldn’t say no to you. None of the Strawhats could. But it was much harder for Usopp.

While Usopp would consider himself a master liar, any lie he attempts to weave gets forgotten when it comes to you.

However, desperate times cause for desperate measure.

“The world without us is dangerous.” Usopp words are quick, a mixture of nervousness and urgency in his voice. Whenever you even mention the idea leaving Usopp is quick to get the thought out of your mind.

“It’s filled with monsters and villains beyond your wildest dreams.” He raises his voice for dramatic effect, ashamed of the please feeling he gets at your obvious fear.

What Usopp is saying isn’t entirely a lie. The world is dangerous, and you most likely wouldn’t survive a day without them. However, the world is also filled with great people who wouldn’t waste a second helping you if needed.

You sigh, looking down at the water below you, “I know Usopp, it’s just I don’t want to weigh you guys down.”

Usopp gasps, eyes widened in shock. He shakes his head, giving you a comforting pat on the back. “Don’t worry (Y/N), you’ll never weight us down.” He gives you a happy smile, “We’ll always protect you, no matter what.”

Usopp knew that wasn’t a lie.

Nami is who you usually spent your night with, reading and relaxing before bed was something you loved.

However, some nights you’d talk, and talk, and talk. The conversations ranged from boring and monotonous topics to something’s more deep.

“I hope we can have many adventures together Nami.” You say quietly, not really talking to her but to the world around you. You look longingly at the sky, the stars shining beautifully up above. “I want to travel the entire sea with you guys.”

There shouldn’t be a pit forming in Nami’s stomach, she should be happy you want to spend time with them, especially compared to how you used to act. But she didn’t like your distant look and your hollow smile. There was no passion behind your words, only a fading and distant hope.

A hope for something long gone, true unhindered freedom. The freedom to go where you want, meet you you want, be who you want. The Strawhats were keeping you from that, and Nami knew it.

She wanted to feel bad, but she couldn’t, and a dark part of it said it was because of love. She and her crew mates love you and want to see you happy and healthy. You can’t be that without them, without their protection.

A similar hollow smile graces Nani’s face as she looks up at the sky. Her eyes close as she silently wishes for you to one day understand why they do what they do, and for you to not hate them.

“I do too, (Y/N).”

The Strawhats would have heard of you from stories of Jimbie or Robin explaining the poneglyph that consisted of your name, which could be traced back from Skypiea and ect.

This is just a rundown of how some strawhats knew about your existence :3

Luffy would have definitely heard many stories about you from his grandpa or the Red hair pirate, Shanks saying that one day you will be his bride and all.

Franky would have also heard stories of you from Tom and from Kokoro, he might have read your name in the Pluton sheet (I forgot what it’s called 😭)

Nami would have overheard from Arlong and the other fishmen because Sea Serpent! Reader is basically their Goddess.

AND ROBIN OOH LOORRDD, Robin would actually have an obsession on you before you ever even met the Strawhats, the old books of Ohara would have so many information out of you, and since you were close to Joyboy she would always somehow read your name in one of the poneglyphs which made her incredibly hooked on you.

Sanji from Zeff and you being related to the ocean, you must know about the all blue them!!

But ya know just one day the crew were just fishing, everyone is doing their own thing, Franky made a huge fishing net to capture more fishes, which works perfectly fine (more food for Luffy yippiee) and just yoink. They just yoinked Sea Serpent! Reader out of the water while she was just sleeping…. Means the Strawhats woke her up from her nap dawg😞

Sea Serpent! Reader: Umm…Hi? You woke me up from my nap.

Luffy would be starry eyed while Sanji is turned into stone when he saw your beauty, Zoro would be on guard, Chopper,Ussop and Nami would be freighted, but Nami would have this sense of familiar towards you, while Jimbie, Robin, Brook and Franky (aka the oldest) are amazed that YOU ARE ACTUALLY REAL!! (World government hid you from the world basically) I mean they knew you were real but ya know the world government and stuff…

The Red Hair Pirates Shanks specifically KNEW YOU ALREADY, but only stories from Roger and Reighley, Shanks knew that you were real but was only being hold as a dangerous being to the World Government so they have to somehow keep you in a leash, but that didn’t really stop you from exploring island to island and that where you saw the Red Hair Pirates, drunk or not Shanks would start flirting with you the minute you agree to join their party ;3

You saved Kaido from drowning after his “I have lost count” attempt, you the dragged his ass back to Wano, but before you can leave you were SOMEHOW detained and kept in a fancy room, that’s when Yamato met you, he heard that King ordered you to be held captive for a while, and the closer Yamato saw you the more you reminded him of the stories of Oden in his logbook about a Sea Serpent who had travelled with the Roger Pirates for only a few months, and when his suspicion was confirmed he immediately jumped out of his hiding spot and went to hug your tail, you were shocked but the boy Yamato kept on ranting about you, about opening up Wano and Oden and stuff, Yamato even said that after Wano is open he will marry you!!! (King is fuming rn)

The power you hold when it comes to the Marines is insane, the Gorosei will always send at least one Admiral to check up on you or if you’re going somewhere. It’s no secret you despise the Celestial Dragons, how could you not! Those are the people that brings extreme slavery and injustice not just towards your people but to everyone alike. You swear to Akainu that you didn’t even hit the celestial dragons boat, you just accidentally nudge it!! You were drifting, you were cold and you only asked in a low voice where your parents were, this was just going to be a normal day ... A normal fishing

This day was a sunny day, your father told you that they were going fishing just beyond the reef, as there was a big herd of fish coming in for the season, so you, your mother and father ventured out to sea, beyond the reef. Everything was fine until suddenly a storm suddenly caught you (the changing weather of the Grand Line).Since your family were fishermen for obvious reasons from an early age, you were taught to swim and fish.

So in the blink of an eye you were in a storm and your boat, being very small, only needed a wave to hit it and break it, you felt from one second to another the water, one second more your mother screaming, your father under water and the other .... You were alone

But while you were crying not seeing your parents you saw in the distance a boat approaching, you couldn't distinguish which boat it was because of the storm so you just tried to scream for help and fell down in a faint.Again and again you heard your mother's scream , your father under the water .... And the boat was like a loop everything was going on until suddenly you woke up.

All of a sudden you saw that you were in a bed , you looked around and saw things that would belong to a doctor , you sat on the bed and even with the sound of the sea raging in your ears , you pressed the sheet but everything would pass when you heard that the door y open and Into a "Racoon?"

Then - "I'm not a raccoon, I'm a reindeer" from the already located by Chooper entrel to see you, from one moment to another 9 more people were in the room, several men, a couple of women, a skeleton and a very large man and metal. That's when they began to introduce themselves and ask you what had happened and why they had found you on the high seas before answering, you started to cry because you remembered once again the accident and the storm, which everyone noticed but you felt hands coming out of god knows where and started to wipe away your tears. After that you introduced yourself as "Y/N" and you were 10 years old. Even after that explanation you were fed by perhaps the best cook, the man Brook played the most energetic tunes to get you out of your depression.

And so began your life with the straw hats Luffy is like your big brother and you always played with him , Ussop and Chooper you liked his attitude but there were times when he played with your cheeks , squeezed them and hugged you after that.

Zoro on the other hand was Tough as he would always come in but for strange reason he wanted you there with him or watching him or teaching you some moves, all well and good. But the weird thing is when you were sitting and before he took his nap, he would take you and sit you on his lap and hug you like a cuddly toy.

With Ussop you always knew he was lying, but sometimes he would start to say some words that you didn't like -" I can't believe that in a moment you would want to leave, without us you wouldn't be able to come".

Nami well, at the age of 10 years old you already owed more than 10 thousand berry and you didn't know why "-Ransom fee, fee but membership, not because you are a kid you are saved"- that changed when you were next to her drawing whatever, while she was on her maps but sometimes she looked at you and asked her to be the one to keep your drawings which she didn't do and took it with her. Robin so that it would not be seen as an attempt to leave the ship and it shows in the drawings.

With Brook you only hung out with him when you were feeling depressed and asked him to play you a song to relax you. Franky is the one you had the most fun with, his encouragement, that he always wanted to get you involved in his work made you smile and so on. Robin, with her you got on a maternal side , it was her who was going to wake you up for tomorrow and it was her who sent you to sleep..... ─ They will take advantage of how scared you are, literally anything would make you jump two meters off the ground, once you were scared of your own shadow, everyone will take advantage of it to scare you and make you hug them.

─ No matter how much you fight, Luffy needs at least one hug daily and will wrap his rubber arms around you completely suffocating you, Zoro is not that fussy, but he will use you as a stuffed animal to hug during his naps.

─ Don't even think about seeking comfort from anyone other than them or at least part of the crew when you're scared, they are the only ones who can help you, understand, the others only want to use you and won't take care of you as well as they do.

─ Many failed escape attempts, either because you have been caught or because you were just sailing through waters infected with sea monsters, you always end up locked up overnight as punishment.

─ If necessary, they will knock you out so that you do not put yourself in danger, your sarcasm and sometimes bad temper can put you in dangerous situations and they are not going to go through that, they would have to kill someone again.

─ He was just passing by, your island was in a small fever pandemic and Law was just helping the whole town a little, however you seemed so out of it when you were sick, so lost and hurt, you reminded him of his sister.

─ He simply took you away to, supposedly, cure you since he had better equipment on the submarine, you couldn't even fight against this because seriously, it seems like you have one foot in the grave when you're sick.

─ He got rid of all your discomforts, but he also discovered that you were a big mouth, but hey, no one likes to be kidnapped so he got a good dose of irritating adolescence.

─ It was difficult to make you see reason that you would be much better off with him and that your island was potentially dangerous, it's not like you came to reason but he forced you to listen to him and collaborate with some threats.

─ He was quite surprised when one night you asked him to sleep with him because you saw a spider prowling around your room, even though you were a very sarcastic and sassy person, you were very scared and he used that as an advantage.

─ Do you want to get out of the submarine? It's okay, just hold his hand and you can go anywhere, do you want to go outside alone? No way, do you know about the insects, contagious diseases and monsters that can wait for you out there? Of course not, you're just a teenager.

─ He always makes excuses that something that terrifies you is hanging around the islands where you stop.

─ Maybe if you get too annoying or whiny about not being able to go out on your own, he'll let you go on your own for a bit… although it only gives you a false feeling of freedom since you always have one of the crew members watching you closely.

─ No teenage romance, he is not going through that time, if necessary he will show you the person you like dissected to scare you enough to think twice about trying to escape.

─ Consider all escape attempts a failure because Law has everything really calculated and the crew is too afraid at this point, they were the ones who had to clean the mutilated corpses of the people who were on the blacklist.

─ Because Law wrote down each of the people who have done something to you that he considers bad or harmful to you.

─ He has already lost a sister, he's not going to lose another even if you are not related to him by blood.

Synopsis: You can read them together or separately, I f*cked up the last part but I tried connecting some dots without fully disclosing everything bc I am not yet sure if I want to continue expanding on this story. If you’d like this to possibly become a series let me know !

You had been startled awake gasping for air and completely drenched in a cold sweat. It was the middle of the night, the ship was dark but the light of the moon shone through the porthole allowing your sight to adjust. You sighed to yourself, memories of your family. What a cruel thing the mind can be, you thought.

You were restless and couldn’t sleep any longer, dreaming of distant voices like you weren’t here on purpose was hilarious in a sinister way. You wanted to believe the person you had become was just a simple state of mind so that you wouldn’t go crazy. But you knew better, you knew to everyone else you’d be considered a lunatic.

You’d argue with yourself constantly, in every crevice of your brain, while also being the mediator wanting everything to stop. This was a good life you were living, free of idiotic way of life you lived previously. When you woke from dreams like this, for a minute or two everything was clear.

You could remember how you got here, remember why you left in the first place. And best of all, you remembered why you were so scared of these people in the first place.

You chuckled to yourself as you got out of bed, your stomach now empty and gurgling for a snack. Making your way to the kitchen you saw the light in the crows nest and a shadow passing through the fish tank. Of course he would be up, you knew his schedule.

You wanted to go up and ask if he’d join your for a drink and a snack but, just as you reach the second flight of stairs you stopped yourself. Alone time when you were awake was needed.

Of course there would be times where you were alone during the day but never completely alone. The constant fake concern or the random outburst to grasp your attention when your eyes went blank always reminded you, you weren’t alone.

You opened the locks on the fridge, rummaging around for alcohol, one of the greatest things about this world was how strong it was in both flavor and effect. Back home you were too young to drink but here you could have anything you desired.

That’s what you liked to tell yourself now. Whenever the itch got too overwhelming and started becoming a visible panic attack you knew just how to calm yourself. Deep breaths, look at just one thing, and clear your mind of negativity. It worked but sake worked even better.

You drank too glasses in the darkness, the affect making itself known when you stood up to bring the rest of the bottle up the stairs. Giggling when you almost fell face first only to be caught in the strong arms of the swordsman.

He looked pretty tonight, the moon was a friend who liked to light up the features of his face you wouldn’t notice during the day. Making him out to be a knight in shining celestial armor. You smiled at him and he gave you a small smile back guiding you to the crows nest.

You told him about your dream. He listened quietly sipping directly from the bottle only stopping to pour you some.

“ Zoro.. is anyone listening?” You asked eyes scouting the perimeter of the room. He shook his head and urged you to continue.

“ My dreams remind me that I’m not insane— well that I’m not completely insane. I want to say they ground me as much as they hurt me.”

The tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to fall in giant droplets of sorrow. He stopped drinking to give you his full attention as you went more in detail about the things you’ve bottle up.

You were like a scroll unraveling before him, if he were bold he make a joke saying that you were the one piece they’d been searching the sea for.

He understood completely why the crew was enamored with you. The little fighting fish trapped in a tank, who could only give without take, the colors of your scales vibrant and full of life while your tail flashes trying to ward off the parasitic infection dwelling all around and within.

He finally spoke up, startling your rambling about every little topic on your mind, “ I didn’t want to interrupt but I have something interesting to tell you.”

You nod eager to listen.

“ I know we’ve been waiting a while and this since is a golden opportunity now that we’re alone. On the last island I spoke to an old man, there isn’t a name for it yet but there are other like you. Travelers.”

You threw yourself into him and held him tight. This was the break through you’ve gone through hell waiting for.

“ There have been quiet a few others, over the last few years he’s said. Some trying to be discrete and others making grand entrances, they speak how you speak, using the same slang and everything I knew they were linked to your situation.”

“ This is incredible ! I knew there were others like be but… I always thought they’d be- Zoro?”

He suddenly yanked you off of him, picking up the bottle of sake and walking to the door. Just as you were opening your mouth to speak the floor started creaking, someone else was awake.

Panic set through you.

Do they hear anything? Did they hear your excitement? Who was coming closer?

Zoro opened the door revealing Robin. How could you possibly forget the other equally dangerous night owl on the ship. She smiled at you and waltzed in sitting on a stool.

“ I didn’t know you woke up Y/N, I would’ve joined the two of you earlier.”

“ Oh yeah I didn’t really want to check for anyone but I just— I seen his shadow and I couldn’t sleep so I figured… why not.” Your nervous laugh creeped in towards the end of your sentence.

You silently damned yourself and looked over to Zoro who sat right back in his spot drinking the almost empty bottle like nothing happened.

The three of you talked about little things, souvenirs from islands, Zoro about swords he looked at, and Robin went on about a foreign scripture she has yet to completely figure out.

Zoro’s presence kept you at ease and before you knew it you fell asleep again. The rest was short and you woke in your bed by the booming voices of your crew mates. Making your way to the kitchen you were greeted continuously upon entry, the captain patting a seat between him and Zoro.

The handsome Prince handing your orange juice in a wine glass to accompany your eggs and bacon. You ate silently till Luffy started stealing off Ussop’s plate causing a ruckus on the table.

The morning came and went and you were playing card games with the boys till lunch. The excitement creeped in when you were handing your cleared plate and heading off the the crows nest once again.

Watching from the upper deck was Nami accompanied by Ussop and Chopper holding baskets of tangerines and pop green. A keen eye was needed in order to be a navigator and that eye noticed your 180 when you were around Zoro.

“ They’re close those two..”

The others agreed watching you leap up the stairs into the crows nest. It was hard to not notice when no one else really bothered the grumpy swordsman in his little sanctuary.

The woman hummed then directed her little helpers to continue picking fruit while she went to investigate. She heard your cheers and giggles as she got closer to the door, daring her to press her ear on the door.

Intently listening to you laugh about a story from your childhood she failed to notice the blonde creeping up behind her with a tray of drinks. With a hand to her chest to keep her from punching him she pulled him close to listen along with her, much to his delight of course.

Although when the cook heard the joy a familiarity being shared with the swordsman he almost barged into the room. Nami having to physically hold him back so that their cover wouldn’t be blown.

It’s almost like they forgot the swordsman can dodge knives in his sleep. Zoro alerted you the moment Nami was walking up the steps. Yes, she was as stealthy and as sly as a cat but there was more in fooling a man like him. The topic of conversation changed and you had suggested writing notes while you spoke the next time around.

The itch was back but you didn’t want to alert Zoro. He was doing his best in keeping your endeavors discreet and telling him would out more on his plate. That night you were reading and the navigator invited you to sit with her while she drew up new maps.

“ Y/N, you’re pretty close with Zoro huh.” She spoke up.

Your eyes left the pages to look at the woman gracefully creating lines and squiggles on the large lithograph. “ Yeah, I enjoy telling him stories and he just listens or laughs.” You shrugged.

She hummed and continued, “ I was heading over to you to ask if you wanted to help peal some tangerines for Sanji to make marmalade.”

“ Oh crap you should’ve asked me during lunch. I can help tomorrow if you’d like.”

She looked over to you from the corner of her eye and smiled agreeing.

“ I didn’t mean to listen in but… you seem very relaxed around him, more relaxed than with the crew.”

“ He.. he just seems to put me at ease I guess.”

“ Why aren’t you at ease with the rest of us?” She inquired tilting her head and placing the ink pen in the corner of her desk.

You quickly rebutted hoping to ease the sudden tension beginning to bubble up. She was full of questions today and you felt like you were in an interrogation room without a door. She chuckled at your stuttering, it was so cute when you were nervous. She continued her work and changed the topic to not cause you anymore visible worry.

Laying in bed that night you finally felt at peace, before your interruption earlier Zoro had told you he knew a way for you to get back home. It would take some time and you would have to get the others off your radar.

Your thoughts quickly shifted to Nami and how she approached you earlier. To a non trained eye your conversation just seemed like small talk or curiosity among friends though the threat of something more was obvious to you. You were sure she did that purposely, looking into your eye, raising and eyebrow, and giving you that sly smirk.

Just to see what type of reaction she could coerce out of you without making things too transparent. You knew eventually they would look into your newfound closeness with the swordsman. You turned to the other side of the bed where the pillow was cold and the light didn’t hit your closed eyes. Shaking the thoughts away to sleep and deal with another day tomorrow.

The ship was still lively while you were resting, everyone doing their own little tasks and routines. In the room next to the crows nest Robin was bathing, she was enjoying her peace till a small knock came from the door.

“ Robin could I come in?”

Nami opened the door and waved sitting on the edge of the tub. “ I think we should tell Luffy about Zoro and Y/N.” She said letting her fingers graze the steaming water. Robin hummed and leaned over to her, “ We should eventually of course. However, don’t you think we should also go to Zoro separately first as well? To completely assess the situation.”

Nami agreed and decided now would be the perfect time since you were asleep and he was completely alone.

She knocked twice and opened the door peaking in, “ Zoro are you busy?”. He looked up at her with a weight lifting over his shoulder and shook his head. She waltzed in sitting in the booth seat hitting her lip, the nerves of trying to get a straight answer out of him settling in.

“ I wanted to talk to you about Y/N, you’ve been pretty close yeah?”

“ I guess? They just come in and ramble while I work out.”

“ Well I hope you aren’t forgetting that the crew also wants to get close to them.”

“ What’s that supposed to mean exactly?”

He was as standoffish as always but if this wasn’t done who knew what the two of you could do. It’s not that she even wanted to question the first mate but no one else has been able to break the barrier with little Y/N… and of all people to it was the grumpy swordsman?

“ It means that whatever you’ve been promising them… isn’t going to make them..”

“ Rebel? I’m loyal to my captain, whatever ideas you’re having are wrong. They came to me because the rest of your are idiotic and overbearing.”

Nami huffed angrily at the assumption that she was overbearing and idiotic. She knew that at certain moments the entire crew would make you uncomfortable but her? She walked out slamming the door and the swordsman’s eyes hardened.

If Nami decided to personally ask him then someone more dangerous was involved.

Back in the bathroom the archeologist was humming quietly to herself as she drained the tub and let the steam dwell around her. The slam of a door from down the hall brought a smirk to her lips, Zoro had ticked Nami off and now she was going to play her part.

Robin knew from the moment you joined their journey you would be valuable. From the way the crew took a liking to you immediately and especially the way the captain would light up in your presence. Robin was extremely loyal to Luffy, she was going to do anything to ensure his happiness was preserved.

She knew you were scheming something with the swordsman. Just as she knew that the swordsman was aware of her presence whenever she’d try to lurk into the room. It’s not that she was doubting Zoro’s loyalty, but he obviously cared about you enough to even consider helping you get back home.

There were times where she questioned herself, she knew that keeping you here basically hostage was wrong. She lived her life running in fear and to keep you here against your will went against everything she stood for but… her captain was her number one priority now, and if making you cry yourself to sleep every night was the sacrifice then so be it.

The ship had finally settled and the moon was now at its peak, the boys room was filled with voices but surprisingly Luffy was quiet. Sanji took notice and eyes the swordsman from the corner of his eye. Without even looking towards him Zoro shrugged and turned the other way. He rolled his eyes and held his tongue not in the mood to argue, he was more concerned about his quiet captain who stared blankly at the wall.

Luffy wasn’t usually one to think too much about one thing for too long, so it was right to be concerned. Sanji stood tall peaking over into his cot and the boy met his gaze.

“ Something on your mind?”

A crack of a smile spring onto the captain’s face, he liked that his crew knew him so well. “ I’m just thinking of Y/N.” He sighed.

As of late you’d been running rampant through his mind. Every time he gets close you get farther and he doesn’t know how to fix it. You keep reminiscing about your old home and life, when you first got here you were ecstatic to be with him, he doesn’t know what changed.

You’d been more than happy when he welcomed you into his crew, you got along with everyone, and you fit so perfectly like his last puzzle piece. Then one day he woke up and started spewing things about wanting to leave. To leave him.

That thought angered him and he shot up from his cot startling Sanji. “ Why have the changed? We’ve been so kind. I don’t understand-”

“ They’re just homesick… we all get homesick.”

“ Yeah but it’s all the time with Y/N. She’ll laugh and play with us then started getting all sappy. It’s annoying me.”

“ Maybe it has something to do with this green moss ball sleeping underneath you— you seen how damn close they got. WAKE UP MOSS BALL!” Sanji hissed.

He kicked the swordsman’s cot waking him up and bringing the attention of the others in the room.

“ I have to watch in an hour what are you talking about in the middle of the night?”

“ How about you tell our very annoyed captain how you and Y/N have become so chummy.”

“ I don’t know why you’re all acting like this, isn’t it good that we’re friends? You guys need to evaluate your approach— and leave me alone.”

With that he fell right back to sleep the entire room thinking to themselves.

After that night the entire crew morphed into these disgustingly saccharine creatures. Catering to your every need like you were an infant who couldn’t be let out of sight for a moment.

In their minds you were their sweet Y/N and they were just helping you settle into your new home. Luffy’s annoyance spread to all the crew members, accept for you and they had a newfound determination.

Zoro decided it was better for the both of you to stop meeting too often, the outburst of Sanji let him know his efforts weren’t working. They were still hot on your tails and it was a matter of time before Luffy himself came to the two of you.

You were distraught, sitting in the kitchen eating a piece of cheesecake Sanji set out for you. You were finally so close and you had to be put on hold because for reasons Zoro wouldn’t share with you.

Chapter 1

Almost every flower has its way to protect itself..some are poisonous if you even dare to touch them in the wrong places at all while others have thorns or just smell so bad that people don’t care about it’s beauty.

These are all ways that beautiful flowers protect themselves..

In a way, you were like a flower. Delicate, graceful and beautiful. You had your thorns though, ways to defend yourself greatly. Your stare could melt someone’s heart yet, if you wanted the opposite to happen to them you could also do the opposite with ease.

When will you be like the flowers in one of your many gardens?

When will you realize that such beauty could cause immense pain to come?

Just at the end of that thought, you heard the sound of a ship docking close to your island.

You also heard…a group of people?..they sure were loud..there was shouting..but It sounded happy! Wait that wasn’t good was it?..you haven’t had visitors since…well a long time so maybe it was good? You were always taught to NEVER speak to strangers..especially not pirates..you hoped they weren’t pirates!..

As the sound of the people who you assumed had never been on a island before because they were undeniably loud got closer you could feel your heart pounding with a mix of different emotions such as excitement, nervousness and most of all, curiosity. If Mother Eve found out you were taking to strangers you would be a dead girl!

There was just something about these people though..you haven’t even met them and yet feel so..drawn to them. It was like a string that was tugging you nonstop to a place it knew you weren’t supposed to go to!

Taking a deep breath, you slowly made your way through the forest and to the outside of it where the noise grew louder and louder. Crouching behind a bush you peeked through the sage green leaves that only you knew could make a very good potion to turn someone into a frog, just for good measure!

The first thing you saw made you squint your eyes, there was a boy in a straw hat. He seemed unusually happy with a toothy grin that shined bright than the sun. He wore a velvet colored vest with golden buttons on it and denim shorts with a pair of sandals. He kept jumping around, holding his hat that a red ribbon around it. He seemed so..excited about everything it made you want to smile and laugh along with him. You wondered, what was it like just Jumping in the sand without a care in the world?

“Yeah!! We’ve finally docked on an island!! Can y’a believe it Nami?!”

“Uh yeah I can, the map led us here because I’m the navigator remember?”

A girl with orange hair that reminded you of a beautiful Merigold you saw the other day said with a raised eyebrow, checking a weird looking bracelet that a globe on it and some arrows in it like it was a watch.

“Oi! Sanji!! I see some fruit over there and a bird I think! Let’s eat it!!”

You then saw another man, he had a suit on for some reason, tilting your head you saw that he was smoking a ‘cigarette’..Mother Eve always told you they were extremely horrible for your health. Observing the man even more you noticed his shiny blond hair and his swirly eyebrows that you didn’t know how to feel about.

Wait..what fruit was he talking about?.. you then thought to yourself, eyebrows furrowed. Now shifting your gaze over to the fruit the boy was referring to your eyes widened, that fruit was extremely poisonous and if eaten and could cause immediate death!

Chewing on your bottom lip you gave a soft sigh. Out of all the fruits why did they have to pick that one?..maybe you can just sneak over there and cast a spell to turn it into a safer fruit..yeah!..that’d be fine! They won’t even notice you!

Just be quiet as a mouse..quiet as a-

SNAP

As you were standing up you stepped on a twig!

Oh come on!! Seriously Y/N?!

Immediately the chatter went quiet. Your heart pounded as you felt all eyes on the bush you were currently hiding in.

Looks like hiding in a bush full of sage, twigs and crunchy leaves wasn’t such a good idea after all.. oh boy you were really in for it now weren’t you? A tall, green haired man with three swords and a rather serious expression on his face started to come closer and closer to your hiding spot. He was clutching the hilt of one of his swords and had a skeptical yet serious look on his face, slowly creeping closer…

Thump-thump..

Thinking fast, you quickly gathered a pile of leaves and plucked a handful of the sage from the bush you were currently hiding in, mixing them together, you uttered the spell you needed and there a frog slowly appeared from the pile you just saw. Before the frog could even begin to do a ‘ribbit’ or hop you threw it out of the bushes and in front of everyone, making it seem like the frog that was just born into this world not even five minutes ago, was hiding in the bushes, not you.

There was a moment of silence, looking around to see their reactions you held your breath. They all then smiled and laughed, some letting out a chuckle while the green haired swordsman just let out a sigh, his eyes fluttering closed faintly before he smirked and turned around to go back to his friends.

Just then you spotted something large behind them. Was that a..ship?..you’ve only seen ships in pictures and books. You marveled at the size and the cute lamb in front. The skull with the straw hat on the flag was even cute too-

Wait!

Something then clicked in your brain.

A ship with a skull…a jolly roger…

Pirates! They were pirates..pirates were dangerous..you sighed softly and then stared at the boy with the straw hat.

His smile..his laugh..he looked safe..! A little dumb but safe..

Tapping your chin you began to ponder..it wouldn’t hurt to just maybe ‘accidentally’ run into them..maybe even introduce yourself and get some answers..that wouldn’t hurt at all!..right?

Silently giggling to yourself you slowly slipped away from your hiding place and summoned a beautiful vine to pull you up to the trees.

Your hair flowed majestically as you swing vines and tree’s like the earth was your very own. Summoning then to lend you help and then leaving them there to grow with others.

So many mix of emotions were brewing up inside of you like whenever you made a sacred potion..excitement, nerves but most of all you felt..uneasy..? From the moment you saw the group of visitors you just felt as if there was something..off about their presence.

Maybe it was just you being paranoid..yeah!

What harm could they really do how bad could this honestly be?

Thoughts were racing through your mind but just as you were about to snap out of it and focus, your body came to a complete halt.

Large, wide eyes stared back into your own. The pair blinked multiple times and so did yours, after a few minutes your cheeks began to flush in embarrassment, trying to leave. As soon as you took one step back though, you felt a hand in your ankle to pull you back. Did it just…stretch to get to your ankle?! You’d never seen anything like THIS before..

“Hey! Where ya goin’?!”

The voice who you recognized to be the one you saw earlier, with the straw hat said, tilting his head and giving a confused frown while tilting his head a bit.

You had to admit that he was kind of cute in a way..black hair, tan skin, puppy dog eyes and that smile that drawled you in like poison..it screamed optimism,adventure…just enjoying life. Something you utterly craved.

Lips parting slightly, you cleared your throat to talk with some bit of confidence you could muster up.

“Oh uhm..nowhere. Who are you people? What are you doing on this island?” You then asked him, becoming somewhat serious as thorns surrounded where you stood to show him that you would not let him hurt this place, the place you held dear.

Surprisingly his eyes sparkled by your power, his jaw seem to drop in amazement as he looked around frantically with a grin. “Woah!! How’d you do that?!”

You felt shocked, was this boy, the one who could stretch his body or even do more for all you know, complimenting you on your power?! His eyes stared into yours again, he was grinning and it seemed like his eyes were clouded with some peculiar type of emotion..you just didn’t know what yet.

Maybe it was interest? Curiosity? It felt like a guessing game. For some reason you desperately wanted to know what was going on in this boys head..what was he thinking about exactly?

Tilting your head you then spoke in a soft voice “..you’re not here to harm or destroy this place are you?..” you asked while stepping another step closer, you expected him to take a step back for personal space, but he stayed where he was. hat grin never getting wiped off of his face.

“Nah! This place is cool!!”

He said with a shrug, talking in a soft voice too. One that reassured you he was safe. These people..were safe..

Right..?

You were now walking with this boy they called ‘luffy’ in the forest to go meet the others, he seemed to warm up to you quickly, blabbering on about his crew and how they were very grateful to dock on an island after ‘sooo long!’

The wind then suddenly blew and he put his hand instinctively on his hat to hold it down from blowing away. Tilting your head you gave a smile while staring up at him in curiosity.

“Why is that hat so important to you?”

“Someone very important gave it to me!” He replied before you could even blink. Now turning to you, you could feel him stare deeply into your eyes again.

“What’s your name anyway?” He then asked with his grin remaining. Why was he smiling so much..? You wondered. Wait no, how could he smile so much, he just met you! Was he already smitten?!

“Y/N..! The reason why I asked you on your motives was because I’ve lived here my whole life you know..” shrugging, you grew a plant that was actually safe to eat this time and handed it to him. He most gladly took it.

With a mouthful he happily said, “hey thanks!!”

You smiled and thought for a moment, just like he did a moment ago, you halted walking for a minute to turn to him.

“Do you want to see something cool..Luffy..?”

He blinked and finished his fruit quickly, grinning even bigger now.

“Yeah sure!!”

Adrenaline rushed through you as you flew through the air, hearing you luffy behind you cheer just as loud as you did. Living on an island for most of your life had its perks you know, it allowed your imagination to run wild!

Which was why you and luffy here were currently flying through the air above the trees on a dragon you made completely out of dry leaves, sage and Cat’s Claw! You held onto the dragons horns while it operated like a roller coaster and flew gracefully like the wind.

Though, luffy’s hands slowly creeping up to your hips and holding onto them almost possessively caught your attention, you just played it off though, grinning up at him. It was probably something normal anyway!..

Finally, you felt him wrap his arms around your waist completely and jump off of the dragon! Was this boy mad?!

“GUM-GUM: BALLOON!!!!” He shouted in the air as his body increased two times its size to give you a safe landing, to say you were absolutely shocked was definitely an understatement..he was just as lively as you thought!!

He laughed as your hair fell in your face and got in the way of seeing properly, you couldn’t help but grin and laugh with him as you adjusted your hair so it wasn’t sticking up like you just got struck by lightning.

“That dragon was amazing!!” He said cheerfully,returning back to his regular form and helping you up. “That landing was amazing!!” You said with a soft giggle.

“Um..Luffy who is this..?” A voice then asked, turning your head, you saw it was the girl with the orange hair, Nami if you remember correctly.

Blinking a few times, you noticed that every last one of his crew members were staring at you with their interest clearly piqued. Smiling widely at them, you introduced yourself just as you would’ve done in your original plan.

“My name is Y/N! I have lived on this island for years..and I’m a witch who’s just looking for adventure!” You would say while giving a bow with another small laugh. Just from that little fun ride you had, it had gotten you so shook up and full of energy!

Luffy unexpectedly, gave you a pat on the back which you smiled at. “Isn’t she great?! Hey maybe we can fly three dragons next time!! And their all rainbow!”

“Oooh!!”

A beautiful woman with black hair and the perfect tan let out a chuckle while putting her face in her feminine hand. “They get along quite well dont they?” She said, her voice smoother than chocolate. Now looking at the two women of the crew you’d never seen such beauty! But that little wholesome moment wouldn’t last long as you felt someone gently take your hand.

“Huh?” You Said while blinking and looking down to see who or what just took your hand.

“Oh Mademoiselle~! Your beauty is simply too much! Mother Nature surely has blessed me today for letting me see such an angel! I’m ready to live on this island for you my love! Just to see you every morning~!!!”

The man with the cigarette said in a high pitched voice, he was crouched down on one knee with hearts literally for eyes! your eyes widened quite a bit as you were definitely not expecting that seeing how he acted with Luffy when you first saw him, his blond hair that shined bright than the sun was still so captivating to you..not to mention he was rather handsome…

Should you charm him back?..it was only polite right?..

“Oh my how dashing..” you started while taking his hand with your free one, crouching down on knee just like he did.

“This island barely gets visitors at all but when we do..they really aren’t as handsome as you..if you were stuck by my side I would feel no need to search for any adventure because I’d have you~!” You said, giving him a wink and growing a rose out of if the ground, handing it to him.

Before his eyes even could take notice of it however his nose started to bleed…a lot! So much that it threw him back physically, making him land on his back and gaze up at the sky in shock.

“S-She..she..”

He stuttered out as you smiled, suddenly everyone burst into laughter and you couldn’t help but grin widely.

Yeah these people were definitely safe!! You were sure of it…

For the next half hour, you spent it with the visitors who came by your island. They seemed to like you very much so because they couldn’t keep their eyes off you! Robin was asking so many questions about the plants and herbs you used here, and you answered gladly! Sanji on the other hand kept flirting with you and charming you the best he could, making you smoothies from the fruit nearby (that were completely safe of course.)

Luffy was also bombarding you with questions but about your powers and spells, he told everyone about the dragon you made and you showed them your magic of course with a smile. You even turned Luffy into a mouse for fun! The boy with a long nose named usopp enjoyed that one the most he just couldn’t stop laughing about it!

You also told them stories about your encounters in the island and how you became the witch you are today, of course you had to mention Mother Eve when you were telling that one.

“She’s kind of the reason I haven’t set out yet..she keeps saying that ‘I’m not ready’ but I’m as ready as can be am I not?” You laughed softly with a sigh, putting a flower crown you made on the little reindeer’s, Choppers head.

The crew nodded their heads at you, they seemed to go a bit quiet like they were pondering something greatly..exchanging looks a few times..that just be a pirate thing right?..

Right?

It was now finally sun down and the sound of the fire the green haired swordsman known as ‘zoro’ (who could be a bit intimidating sometimes..)made illuminated everyone’s faces, casting a beautiful orange light in the front, and darkness in the back.

Letting out a soft sigh you closed your eyes,making a nice flower bed for you rest on while gazing up at the stars. Then all of a sudden..

“Hey Y/N?..”

Luffy’s voice caught your attention. You turned your head over to him with a smile.

“Yeah?”

With everyone now looking at you, they all had a somewhat big smile on their face. Zoro though stared at you rather intently..

That grin that could light up a room appeared again as luffy got closer to you placing his hat in your face rather abruptly, you took it and put it on your head with a confused expression.

“Join my crew!!!” He said loudly, staring into your eyes which made you feel there was only one answer optional…

It felt like the entirety of the last few months was a dream. Not being able to tell anyone about what you had experienced made you feel as if you were on the brink of insanity. You were back to the old life, not that you were angry, or sad for that matter. Your surroundings were just blurry and so was your mind. 

You didn’t pay attention to most things that were in front of you, that’s why it took you so long to realize that next week was thanksgiving. A part of you, the part that suffered and laughed with these people was still somehow stuck in that universe. You had read online a few years ago that prolonged time in another reality would make you feel every symptom you were feeling now, you ignored it. 

This wave of repressed emotions trampled you, it kept you stuck to the ground drowning in an abyss of confusion. “ Y/n I need you to go to the market adn buy the perishables for thursday and– are you listening to me?” knocking you back into your world you seen your mother looking at you in concern. Poor woman had absolutely no idea what was happening to you. 

Everyone around you noticed the change, they simply thought you were going through teenage angst or something else. You would laugh to yourself at times, imagine if they really knew of the turmoil you were dealing with. You would be dropped off at the hospital with quickness. 

At night you didn’t sleep the same, although you were almost always fighting for your life you were also accustomed to the sounds of the waves and the subtle rocking of the ship which helped you fall asleep. The night before thanksgiving you were forced to relive the events of what happened, as your cousin talked your ear off you slowly tuned out the noise when remembering the bone chilling statements of the strawhats. 

“ Y/n… if you leave you will regret this.”

Law was injured, he had been fighting both Luffy and Zoro to give you more time, the rest of the two crews were fighting amongst themselves while you were below deck of the polar tang trying to drown out the noise. The screams of your name were angry, betrayed, and vicious. Luffy shoved his way through Law stretching his arm to grab onto the ship, Law was quick though and used his ability before Zoro could strike him. You were hiding in his room with the door locked and his desk shoved in front of it, the two of you knew how much of a gamble you were taking. 

After agreeing that he would come with you and finally going through your plan you both silently agreed that maybe, in the future after Wano he would come. You knew that although it was unspoken that would probably never happen, you completely altered this timeline. This version of the one piece world was tainted by you in some of the worst ways, turning the heroes into villains that you seen them go up against and the villains that they’ve never even come face to face with. 

You wish you could have law by your side at this moment, and just as you were about the break down the door began to rattle on it’s hinges. 

“ Y/n! I know you’re in there, just come out. We can fix this, we can be as we used to. Don’t leave us.” Luffy sobbed. 

You quickly rushed under the bed. What a cliche you thought. You had to get serious now, it was time to go home and you weren’t going to let anyone or anything stop you. You were in over your head when you got here but you weren’t to blame. Who would’ve know that the people you admire the most would turn out to be monsters. 

When the door unlocked you were almost a memory, fading from this world and from the strawhast grap. Luffy quickly rushed under the bed trying to grasp at the strans off you, the anger in his body welling up. Law had slowly stalked in behind him with his infamous smirk, and Zoro was not too far behind. Angrily he dragged your feather of a body from beneath the bed, “ Y/n… if you leave you will regret this.”

Ashiver ran down your spine but you wouldn’t give himthe satisfaction of seeng you terrified for the last time. When your eyes fluttered yuou realizied you were back in your room, everything as it was and you decided to do the last thing in order to severe the link between that world nd yours. Without another thought you rushed around your room like a mad woman, scrambling for the bits and pieces you needed and when all was said and done you collapsed. 

When you came to it your mother was calling you and your cousin to run a few errands for her. The chill of the fall weather helped keep you grounded and you finally felt like you could fully enjoy their company without being lost in what should be forgotten memories. 

The next few months were a breath of fresh air. You were becoming whole again and life had more meaning than just escaping. You began speaking to people online about your experience, you put into a story. To others your story was fiction, a thought borne from the imagination plastered into the net for an online audience to enjoy. But to you, this was your life story, and you knew it would be far from over.

When I started this series and this account I was at the lowest point of my life, I thought I would live in a never-ending nightmare forever until I started writing. I am so happy that so many people enjoyed this series and I apologize for stringing you along after maybe like the tenth chapter, I want you to know that although at one point I didn't really know what to do with this story anymore I fully put my all into every chapter. When you joined the straw hats, they expected some hard work on your end. Not because they wanted you to, oh no no no. The reason they came to this conclusion was because of the hard work you put in your old job and how seriously you took it.

They just didn't expect how invested you were in completing tasks...

On your first day living on the ship, you got up and waited on the rest of the crew, figuring that it'd be rude to snoop around on your own. Once the crew did leave their beds, they were surprised, even more so when you asked what duties you have been assigned.

The crew wasn't really sure where to start honestly. They really didn't think that far (Luffy made that decision to bring you on the ship without an actual plan), so they instead asked you to join in on a fun activity that day.

Initially, you were distracted from doing any real work, but you being you... you eventually found some labor.

Usopp, Luffy, and Chopper tried keeping your attention away from such boring tasks, but you couldn't even focus on the game at hand. Not when one of the newly replaced back sail had that nasty hole in it...

That simply wouldn't do.

So off you went, grabbing a spare sail clothe to replace the damaged one.

It took most of the afternoon just replacing it and inspecting any parts of the ship. The more mature members of the crew kept the others (mainly Luffy) from interrupting your work, but even they were bothered by your refusal to accept help.

Sanji even made dinner earlier so he could get you to break your unwavering attention on the sails, which worked fortunately!

That night, dinner was loud and chaotic.

It was a type of chaos that held no genuine malice, even as Sanji threatened to shove his foot up Zoro's hyper-clenched asshole.

You ate your food politely, even letting Luffy snag some food off your plate (much to Sanji's chagrin) while Sanji was distracted by Nami's beauty or Zoro's "I don't give a fuck" attitude.

Over all, the first day was uneventful, even for the Straw hat's standards…

BAM!

"...What the hell?" Zoro hissed in annoyance at first, only for that irritation to be replaced by caution as he heard another sound, this time more quiet then before...

Whoever was up there was trying (and failing) to be quiet.

The other men snored loudly as Zoro snuck out the room with his swords. His senses were on high alert as he poked his head outside, seeing nothing but the deck lacking any other living being.

His attention was directed to above him once he heard soft but heavy feet walking on the wood deck above.

Swords drawn, Zoro leapt onto the anchor deck, ready to tear into who ever dared to sneak onto the Going Merry. His rush of adrenaline only increased tenfold when he spotted a tall figure hidden by the shadows of the moonless night.

The figure turned with a large wood pole on their shoulder, nearly knocking Zoro off the deck. He ducked down just in time before launching himself towards the figure with his blades crossed in front of him. the figure quickly dropped the pole to the side of them and gripped the blades, keeping Zoro from slicing the figure.

He almost couldn't budge from the grip the person had on his swords, but he pulled, and pulled, and pulled, slowly cutting through the hand's delicate palms like thick butter before a pained growl was let out.

Shock, hurt, and confusion displayed itself on your face as you looked back in Zoro's golden brown eyes, who did a double take as well.

"(Y/n)!? What the hell!?" He yelled and backed away with his blades as soon as you released them.

"I'm... sorry?" You said in pure confusion.

"What-What are you doing out here this late!? And why are you swinging a giant pole around!?" He demanded while pointing his sword at you accusingly.

"I'm... finishing what I started yesterday." You said while pointing over to where the hind mast would be, which appeared to be missing.

Well... Not really.

Zoro would realize this when he finally stared at the now familiar looking mast laying on the deck beside them.

"...didn't you fix it though?" Was all he could ask in that moment.

"Only the sail. The repair shop missed the smaller mast apparently. The main one is in perfect condition, but this one wasn't." You said with a small huff.

Zoro slowly sheathed his swords, still giving you a strange look.

"Alright, but... at night?"

"It's better to get it done as soon as possible."

You walked over to grab the pole, only to jolt and pause before grabbing the pole more gently.

"Oi, leave it be." Zoro said while approaching you.

"I have to-"

"Your hands are cut open." Zoro muttered something about you being a dumbass before reaching down and grabbing your hands to look at them.

Your eyebrows were raised in surprise by his sudden touch and closeness, even more so by the fact that he gave a crap.

He clicked his tongue, feeling the blood on your calloused hands but unable to see well on this moonless night.

"...I can't see shit. C'mon." He turned away and walked towards the stairs.

You were hesitant to follow. Sure, you were bleeding and it hurt, but the job wasn't done. You CANNOT have the captain see his own mast laying on the anchor deck.

Unfortunately for you, the swordsman wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Get your ass down here, we need to clean your wounds."

"But Captain Luffy won't be pleased with the mast-"

"I'm his first mate. I have authority, so I say you leave the stupid piece of wood and bandage your hands. You'll get blood all over it anyway." Zoro said in an annoyed tone.

"...yes sir."

Zoro's face scrunched up at that as his face burned a little hot.

"Don't call me that. It's Zoro." He snapped at you half heartedly.

With all being said, Zoro led you to the lounge area, which sat at the back of the ship. While grabbing the railing to walk up the steps, you pulled back and grit your teeth when what felt like a splinter snagged itself into your open flesh.

You go to pull the piece of wood out, only for a voice to snap at you.

"C'mon. Don't mess with your cuts until we get in the lounge." He said, looking back despite not seeing too well in the dark.

You complied, this time not touching the railing as you walked upwards.

As soon as you both entered the lounge, Zoro turned to you and cussed under his breathe after catching sight of your visible hands.

"I cut you pretty damn bad. Stay here."

He left the room quickly, leaving you in an awkward silence as you studied your own hands.

Your rough, scarred hands had new wounds added to them. The cuts were smooth, something that could easily heal, but the depth of the cuts would be a problem you concluded. You eyed the splinter launched in the exposed meat and with care and patience, grabbed the tip of it with your other hand, slowly pulling the intruder out of the pulsing mess of blood and skin.

Despite the obvious pain of removing the splitter, there was this euphoric relief. The wound throbbed and burned, but it became a more comfortable and dull sensation.

The door opened, snatching your attention away from the cuts on your hands. Zoro walked in, glancing at your ands before dropping the kit he had in his hand.

"What the- did you pick at it???"

You stared sheepishly at the moss headed man, who snapped at you once more.

"Dumbass!!!"

Zoro stomped over and grabbed your hands, inspecting the damage before releasing your wrists again.

"We gotta wash it a little." He sighed while brute forcing the kit open. He dug into the kit in search of something before he looked at you with a confuzzled look.

"What the hell are you sitting there for? Wash your hands there, idiot!" He pointed to the sink in exasperation.

"Yes sir."

"Oi! Stop calling me that!"

Zoro wrapped your hands tight in gauze and medical tape, slapping your hands away when you tried to do it yourself.

"Both of your hands are injured. You're in no condition to wrap these yourself." He excused despite you stating that you had worse.

Once he was done, he looked over your hands, subconsciously rubbing a thumb over a long healed scar that was located on the back of your hand.

While you allowed him to inspect your hands, you couldn't help but notice how little focus he was giving the recent injuries given by yours truly.

He grumbled something that you couldn't make out, before he removed his own calloused hands and sat on the other chair he leaned his swords against.

"It's done. Tony can look at it tomorrow..."

You nodded, ready to stand up and leave to finish what you started before Zoro stopped you.

"That means go to bed."

"...I was?" You said as you made a funny face.

The man scoffed at you narrowed his eyes.

"You're a terrible liar. Less convincing than the long nose."

You didn't have time to answer before Zoro pointed to the door with his thumb.

"Go to sleep. We can worry about the hunk of wood in the morning... or afternoon. Seeing that you chose to stay up late." He snarked.

You opened your mouth, about to speak when he stopped you.

"And don't call me what you're about to call me."

"Call you what, sir?"

"...go to fucking bed." Zoro hissed.

'How troublesome' he would think as he watched the (h/c) head towards the room that Sat between Nami's and the boy's quarters.

He didn't think they would cause issues so soon...

And he didn't think he'd give a shit so fast...

Sorry for the rough start, fellas. I've lost my touch lmao.

I wanna do a slow burn type of deal where the yanderes slowly turn yandere, some slower/faster than others.

I'm not gonna make it painfully slow, don't worry, it'll maybe at least a few weeks or a month for the characters before they become yanderes.

No hate at all to other fics that do this, but I'd like to think the obsession isn't within the first second they meet. If that's the case, then they may as well randomly grow attached to everyone they meet lol (but that's just me. Just a lil nit pick.)

But anywho, I'll be making the aftermath of this fic.

I have to be dreaming (Chapter 4)

I apologize if some of the terms aren't correct. I'm using the manga for the dialogue, so some terms like Gods Army are different. I'll try to make sure everything is consistent but feel free to tell me if I messed up.

"These trees are enormous! I wonder how old they are!" Nami gasps, gazing up at the huge trees, the roots spanning miles across the Island.

You crane your neck, the sky covered by thick foliage which enveloped the Island in darkness except for the few bits of sunlight. "I can't see their tops."

You and Nami hover on the clous, observing the strange trees until a crack is heard. You grip tighter on to Nami's waist, turning to see a man crawling on his arms and legs, blood pooling from his mouth.

"Help me...Get me out of here!!" He lets out a guttural groan, begging. "I missed the ship!! Please!!"

"We already have too many people on the waver! We might sink!" Nami replies. You feel bad for him, unable to do anything from your place behind Nami.

At the response, the man groans, using all his energy to gaze up at the sky. He whimpers as the grass around him burns and flies around him. He lets out one more cry, before a beam of light shoots down onto him, blinding both you and Nami.

You hear another man scream, and then the sounds of whooshing grow and grow until it dies. You wait to open your eyes until the ringing in your ears stop. There was a giant crater in the side of the Island, and when Nami opened her eyes, she was already moving right towards it. You protest, but her stern determination is outmatched by your fear.

"...Old lady Amazon said there was a ship with seven Blue Sea people aboard." You hear as Nami drags you towards the forest. You stop abruptly, listening carefully as the strange men whisper to each other.

You couldn't listen for a second longer, you grunt as you use all your strength to drag Nami away from her stop back onto the waver. "Come on Nami, we need to tell the others." You huff, Nami nodding as she revs the waver forward and back to the Strawhats.

"Pagaya, who are those guys." Luffy stares confused at the group of men strangely crawling on all fours towards them. They don't acknowledge them, continuing to craw until they reach the group.

"Heso!"

"Good work, Heso!!"

"Why were they crawling." Usopp, who was now on the Merry with the others, asks. Sanji shakes his head, watching as Luffy begs for the waver to work.

"So, you're the ones from the blue sea!! The seven trespassers!" The man leading the strange group yelled. They looked like military men, and judging by their stiff demeanors they might as well be.

"What's that?" Luffy tilts a head.

"Don't try and talk your way out of it. Amazon, the inspector at Heaven's gate sent us this picture she took with a vision dial." The leader said.

"That's ridiculous! It must be a mistake, Captain McKinley!" Pagaya says, his voice nervous. "These people don't seem like criminals to me." He swares.

Sanji squints towards the others on the beach, "What's that about trespassers?" He asks while lighting a cigarette.

"The entrance fee was one Billion Extols. We didn't pay it, remember?" Robin assumes while watching the others.

Usopp gasps, growling at the thought. "But...she said we could pass!! That old snitch!"

Back on the beach, Captain McKinley stares harshly at the pirate. "No excuses, just accept responsibility. But there's no need to panic." Luffy and Pagaya sigh a bit, relived. "According to the Heaven's punishment statues, trespassing is only a class-11 offense. If you pay the fine, you can become legal tourists."

"Well why didn't you say so?" Sanji crosses his arms. "But what exactly is this punishment?"

"It's simple. Just pay ten times the entrance fee." Captain McKinley responds. "That would be 10 billion Extols each, or 80 billion Extols for all eight of you. If you pay up right now, you record will be wiped clean.

Usopp gasps, his mouth agape. "Seventy billion extols?! How much is that in Berries?"

Captain McKinley focuses as he calculates numbers in his head. "Berries...that Blue Sea currency? Let me see...there are 10,000 extols to one Berry."

"That's a fortune!!! We risked our lives to get here and now you want use to pay to stay?!" Sanji was in disbelief.

The Captains face grows stern once again, "It's your own fault! You should've just paid the original fee.

"It was too much!!"

Conis ignores the in favor of watching the waves, her attention being broken by the loud revving of a waver. In the distance, she could see you and Nami speeding towards the ship. The others dont seem to notice, however.

"I should warn you, we white Berets serve Gods Army, you'll only make things worse for yourselves if you resist." His voice was ominous.

"Um...sorry to interrupt, look." Conis pointed to the ocean, the others turning their gazes toward the sight of you and Nami.

"Huh?! Nami, (Y/N)! You're safe!" Nami screamed in relief. Nami revved the engine, making you hold onto her harder as she speeds towards the beach.

Thump

You jump, falling off the waver and into the sand, tumbling a bit before falling onto you back. "Huh? Sorry..." Nami sweats, Captain McKinley groaning underneath the Waver. You feel yourself be tugged upwards and into some ones back. You could immediately tell it was Luffy by the tight grip of his stretchy arms.

"Thank you for letting us use your waver, mister." Nami pulls it towards Pagaya, who sweats as he attempts to help the fallen captain. You pulled away from the worried man yet again as Nami takes Luffy by the shirt and pulls you both towards the ship.

"There's nowhere you can run! First you verbally abused us!" The captain stumbles up slowly. "That attack was clearly a case of obstructing a government official from performing his duties. A class-5 criminal offense!!" He snarls at the Merry, his nose bloody and face bruised.

"In the name of the God Enel, I declare you exiled to the clouds!!" Conis lets out a large gasp.

"Exiled to the clouds! That sounds nice." Luffy was still wrapped around you, his chin resting on your shoulder as he talks to Conis.

Conis shakes her head. "It's a death sentence, you'll be dropped onto an island cloud with no way to escape and you'll stay their until you're nothing but bones!"

Robin is somehow still smiling. "Ahh...that explains the ship that fell from the sky. That 200-year-old galleon. Maybe its crew was exiled to the clouds.

The Captain doesn't continue listening to Conic's explination. He yells for you all to be errested, his men drawing bows and aiming their arrows towards you. "Run!! Please, you can't fight them!" She screams desprately.

"Hold your tongue young lady! Or I'll have to charge you with aiding these criminals!" The captain declares, glaring at the already frightened girl. He turns his attention back towards his men, enforcing them to fire.

Your thrown away from Luffy, back towards where Nami was standing closer to the ship. He yells something to Nami about making sure you don't get heard before your whisked away. Sanji and Zoro don't waste time perusing the men, arrowing flying passed them that leave a long white cloud. Luffy avoids the substance by wrapping his arms around a palm tree and charging up punch after punch before knocking out a majority of the men.

Sanji and Zoro take out the rest, causal about the whole situation. "How much money do we have?" Luffy asks, landing back on the ground.

"50,000 berries in cash."

"That's all..." He groans, huffing at the sky. "Why are we so poor?! As you Captain, I have to say this--you guys spend too much money!"

"Most of it went to feed you!!" Sanji growls.

"You should've surrendered quietly." The captain stands up, smirking. "We're the friendliest law officers you'll find in Godland." He stares at the group, a strange unreadable emotion behind his eyes. "They won't be so gentle with you!"

"You're class-2 criminals now, make all the fuss you want. But God's Army in the upper yard will deal with you!" He booms.

Luffy giggles, his posture playful. "Oh well. We're used to being hunted." He giggles some more, taking a look at you and Nami. "Why'd you come back anyway? We were just about to have an adventure and look for you."

Nami sighs, waving her hand towards him. "You're a real genius, Luffy."

"We need to find a way out of here if we're technically fugitives." You ignore the two bickering as you contemplate a way to

Sanji nods, now standing near Conis. "Now that I think about it, we never gave any thought to how we'd get back." He adds. Conis thinks about it for a second, biting her lip in thought.

"It's very perilous, but there is a way down to the Blue Sea, you have to go down one level and sail to the far east of the white sea to a pace knowns as cloud's end. You'd have to cross a vast sea in the sky."

"What? So, we can't go home." Luffy gawks. Nami snorts, waving him away as she walks towards the ship.

"But isn't it just as dangerous for us to stay here? If we stay, we'll make trouble for you. They know where we are! Let's sail! Conis! Pagaya! Thanks for everything!" Nami walks away, waving to the kind family.

She makes it halfway to the ship before realizing that no one is following her. "Hey! Where are you going?"

"To get the food." Luffy pulls you towards the stairs leading to Conis home. You send Nami a sympathetic look as her and Zoro join the others on the ship.

"Are you the ship's carpenter, Usopp?"

Usopp shakes his head, "No, I'm the sharpshooter. We don't have a carpenter yet. But those guys depend on me for everything. I guess you could say I'm kind of like a second captain--"

Pagaya had walked away at that point, eyeing Sanji and his cooking. "Your arrangement of food is very artistic. What lovely colors." Sanji places some food in front of you, smiling at you.

"You seem hungry." You take the bento from him and place it on your lap as you shovel the rice in your mouth. Sanji blushes, only looking away when Luffy reaches over from his spot next to you to try and grab some food. "Hey! Hands off!"

Luffy sulks back next to you, watching as Conis moves into the room. "It's all so beautiful." She murmurs.

"Well, it all looks the same once it's in your belly." Luffy grumbles, hungry and bored. You've been back for barely an hour, and you haven't been paying attention to him at all. He couldn't pay attention to anything, not even Usopp moving towards the balcony.

"Hey, there's something going on out there!" He points towards the sea. "There's a ruckus on the ship!!" Sanji rushes over, Luffy quickly following him. You look at them, too concerned with your food to get up and look.

"Huh?! The ship's moving!!" Luffy squawks. Putting down your bento, you move to the balcony, nearly coughing on the food left in your mouth. The ship was moving fast through the clouds. You all watch in horror as the ship basically flies away.

"Where'd they go?" You turn to ask Pagaya. He gives you a solemn look.

"The special lobster express is one of the God's servants. Everything it carries off becomes an offering of the God." His face somehow becomes darker as he continues to explain. "It's headed to the northeast of the upper yard, to the sacrificial altar."

Your breath hitches, they're going to be sacrificed? That can't be true. While stuck in your disbelief, Sanji moves towards the man, clearly astonished. "You mean Nami, and the others are gonna be sacrificed?!" Pagaya look remains down.

"It's all part of heaven's punishment. Criminals either become sacrificial offerings or they undergo a challenge." He sighs. "Or so I've heard. They're in the Kami's power now. "Sacrificial offerings" they're hostages."

"The ones who are really being punished right now are you four." He pointed towards you. His explanation didn't make you feel any better, and all you could think about was your friends, the only people you had in this world, dying. It made your stomach turn and you slightly regret scarfing down Sanji's food earlier.

"If I had a map..." Pagaya mumbles, Usopp stopping him by handing the earlier obtained map. He looks at it for a second, before tracing his finger towards the back of the island.

"This is very old, but it looks accurate enough. This is our present location. The sacrificial alter lies to the Northeast. There's only one way to get there. Find a dial ship and follow the Milky Road through the forest where God's Army is." Usopp and the others conversed over how to get to the alter but you were to spaced out to notice or add anything. You mind kept wandering to the ship, to it being dragged away, to everything that has happened so far. You couldn't help but question everything, whether it was a dream or reality. It sure didn't feel real.

If it is, then you wonder why out of everyone, you had to get sent here.

"(Y/N)! Come on, we're leaving now." Luffy takes your hand, dragging you away before you could say a word.

"Why is everyone avoiding us..." Usopp says, watching the locals side eye him and the rest of the crew.

Sanji takes a drag of his cigarette; his back hunched a bit from all the supplies he's carrying. "They must know we're outlaws." Luffy simply smiles, holding your hand tight as you walk with him.

"This is great! The town center is totally empty!" Luffy looks over at you, your face emotionless, like you were somewhere else entirely. He pouts, waving his hand in front of your face to get your attention.

"Hello! (Y/N)?! Did ya hear what I said?" You snap out of your stupor, growing embarrassed at the concerned looks the others give you. You laugh awkwardly, looking away from their stares.

"Yeah, something about the town being empty." You voice was quiet, and it didn't quite convince Luffy. His pout grows deeper as you look away from him and try to get your hand out of his grasp.

"Luffy, you know you don't have to hold my hand everywhere, right?" His grip grows even tighter in response.

"I don't want you to run off again." He says like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The others don't seem fazed, their eyes locked ahead. You huff at Luffy, but he doesn't seem to care, awestruck at all the strange food and items in the stalls.

"Luffy! We're not here to shop!" You tell him.

He giggles, "Don't worry, Zoro's with them."

Sanji brows furrows, snarling at the captain. "You trust that guy to protect them?!" His cigarette nearly falls out of his mouth with the scream.

"Huh? What's that in the middle of the road?" Sanji groans at Luffy's clear ignorance of him.

In the middle of the road, there was a strange idol, Conis nodding as you all move closer to it. "That's a varse. To the inhabitants of the sky, it's an object of eternal admiration."

Luffy shivers. "Huh?! You guys' worship that thing?" Conis laughs.

"I suppose Blue Sea people wouldn't understand." She smiles as she points you to the wharves.

The people around you all stare silently as you move to the peers. Luffy gasps at all the different boats, begging Conis for anyone that looks cool. Sanji hits him on his head, blowing smoke in his face. "We're here to save Nami and Robin, you idiot! Stop being such a tourist!"

Eventually, you reach your ship, which was, strange to say the least. It was a long boat, the head being in the shape of a crow. "This is the Kara-Sumaru." Conis says. "I used to use it all the time before I learned how to ride a waver. It's not as fast as a waver, but it's got two wind dials."

"But...I like that one better." You kick Luffy's leg, causing him to quiet immediately. Conis quickly becomes embarrassed, a red blush adorning her cheeks as she waved her hands towards him.

"You...don't like it? I'm sorry but I don't have the money to rent that one for you."

"Don't worry Conis, this one's perfect." You attempt to reassure her, which she smiles at. Soon, her embarrassment shifts to a sterner expression.

"The way out is through gate two. You'll come out onto the Great Milky Road which will take you to Upper Yard. Then just keep to the road." She explains, a slight shake to her.

Luffy recovered from your kick quickly, turning to look at Conis with a hard expression. "Conis, ever since we left you house you've been shaking, how come?"

Conis's shaking intensified at the question, sweat beating down her face. It was like the world became silent instantly, the on lookers staring at the five of you intensely.

"You're all pale, if you were that scared, you should've said something." She didn't respond to his probing, looking away clearly nervous as he moved closer.

"I..I'm not..." She huffed out, stuttering. She took a second to collect herself, her words becoming clearer as she spoke. "Don't you think it's strange that I'd tell you how to get to the challenger and even lend you my boat." She looks up, staring Luffy in the eyes.

"It's almost as though I'm leading you to your doom."

"Hey!! Stop!! Are you insane." Someone in town said as Conis fell to her knees, sobbing.

"Please run away..."

She dug her nails into the ground.

"I'm sorry."

Your chest hurt.

"Stop!! What are you saying?!"

"I was the one who summoned the special lobster express!!" Conis admits, her sobs nearly overtaking her words.

No, that can't be true. Why would Conis do something like that. You hear Conis sniffle, wailing to the sky.

"If a citizen of Skypiea knows that someone is a criminal and doesn't lead him to the punishment site that citizen is killed!!

Luffy's nails dig into your hand, his grip hurting you it was so tight.

"Stop it!! Don't you realize what you're saying!!" Somone says.

"It's blasphemy!!"

"Grab that girl!!"

Conis covers her mouth to quiet her cries. "It's the duty of every citizen!! Please forgive me!!"

Luffy finally let's go of your hand, moving towards Conis with a strange determination. "You had no choice, right?! So why did you just tell us that?!" He grips her shoulders. "Now you're in trouble!!"

She doesn't respond, but the people around become erratic, spewing sickening words toward the poor girl. You're frozen in place, barely able to feel the buzzing around you. Taking a deep breath, Luffy grabs Conis and pulls her away from the beam of light.

You feel yourself be pulled into someone chest, your breathing erratic, the ringing in your ears preventing you from hearing anything. The only thing you can feel in the hand on the back of your head, cradling you as they scream something to someone else.

You're finally able to hear the flapping of wings before passing out.

You don't know where you are, everything is fuzzy.

"Dude, you're spacing out again." The person talking to you had no clear face, almost like it was obscured by something. You could hear them clearly, but your mind couldn't make them out.

"Come on, we need to be studying." You hear them say, ignoring them in favor of viewing your surroundings. You were in a bedroom, small but large enough to fit you and this other person. It was sunny, you could feel it on your skin, and for a second everything felt so real.

Until suddenly, your body doesn't feel right. You feel like you're floating in water as the mysterious person speaks inaudible words to you. You look down at your hands, they appeared to be floating through time. The longer you stared at them, the more they warped and bent.

You finally pay attention to the other person across from you. "(Y/N), you need to keep your head out of the clouds." They laugh, but it was more ominous than funny. "Eventually, you won't be able to find your way back."

You feel like you're falling, the world around you crumbling away into nothing as your heart sinks.

"When are they going to wake up..." Luffy watched your face, which was motionless as they speed down the Milkey Road.

Sanji stays focused on what's ahead of them, still very much concerned about you and your safety. He drags his eyes from the front to you, sighing as he relaxes a bit.

He moves closer to you, feeling your forehead and frowning at the shear cold he felt. He looks at Luffy, who's still staring intensely at you. "Luffy, get that blanket, they're freezing."

Luffy doesn't move for a bit, unable to take his eyes away from you. He felt like if he looked away for even a second, you'd be gone. He couldn't handle that. Regardless, he digs though his bag, pulling out a soft, blue blanket. There were a few ruffles at the ends, but overall, it was comforting. Luffy definitely thought so.

Luffy takes the blanket, holding it close for a few seconds before wrapping it around you. "Do you think they'll be okay?" Usopp wonders, looking nervously at you. He's been trying to avoid you sense you passed out, afraid off look at your near lifeless body. You looked so cold, so weak, like one small brush would cause you to shatter. He looks away before he can imagine anything worse.

"This boat is too slow." Luffy says, easing some of the tension.

"That can't be helped. It's a lot heavier than a waver, so don't expect too much." Sanji huffs, his hair blowing in the wind. As the move forward, trees upon trees towered over them, covering them in shadow.

"Well, there's a forest, but nothing like this." Usopp glared at the map as they sped into the strange forest.

Sanji's eyes traveled upwards, following the large trees into the sky. "Whoever owned that map lived 200 years ago, right? It may have been an old map even them. It'd take a thousand years for a forest to grow to that size."

Luffy gasped, steering straight towards the entrance. Various idols were decorated around the trees, adding a strange sense of fear into the hearts of most the crew. Ship parts were strewn about, torn in half by something, but Luffy didn't seem to care, fascinated by the sounds and sights all around him.

"Th-There's something out there!!" Usopp gasped. his eyes darting around from tree to tree. Luffy laughed at him, totally careless until the shifting grew louder.

"Faster!! Row!!" Usopp yells at Luffy as his face hardens. The boat speeds up as the wind around them wooshes, a large axe descending upon them. It swings back and forth, swiping through an already dilapidating ship, causing it to sink into the clouds.

"Look out!! There's another one coming!!" Luffy didn't have to order Sanji to row, him moving quickly before any more axes to come their way.

Sanji takes a quick look at you. You appeared undisturbed, your unchanging expression bringing him a small sense of ease. His eyes are dragged away from you as Luffy winds up his arm, angling it towards one of the large axes before launching them off of it. The fly forwards, falling far from danger as they continue to row away, an entrance far ahead of them.

"The entrance is way over there." Sanji says, heart beating quickly.

"Should we get off here?"

"Are you crazy?! We'll be killed!!"

"Maybe so." Sanji said, the sound of whooshing nearly drowning out his words. Behind them, a gigantic eel barrels towards them and Sanji wastes no time to send it flying when it gets too close.

"This Milky Road is bad news, if we hang around here, we're doomed. Looks like we have to keep going forward." Sanji lights another cigarette as they move forward.

About an hour passed before they reached another entrance. "Waah! A giant!!" Luffy points in front of them.

"That's just a statue Luffy." Usopp says as feels your forehead. You were still so cold. He takes the blanket and wraps it around you tighter, smiling as you slowly start to warm up.

"There are four entrances!! Does each one lead to a different place." In front of the pirates were four large opening, each with a different title leading to different directions.

"Challenge of the swamp, challenge of the iron, challenge of the string, challenge of the ball..." Usopp reads the aloud. Sanji reads the titles in confusion, while Luffy seems amused.

"Let's go with the ball! Doesn't that sound like fun!" He points.

"It's a challenge! It's not fun!" Sanji responds, growling at the smiling boy.

"I like ball too! It sounds the most harmless...I hope." Usopp shivers. Sanji groans, steering the boat towards the Challenge of the Ball.

"Oh well, it's decided. But stay alert, we're in the Upper Yard, 33,000 above sea level! Anything could happen!" Sanji says as they are all shrouded in darkness. Usopp grits his teeth, while Luffy squints his eyes.

"Huh what's this." Sanji's able to make out a small exit, the tunnel becoming brighter as they got closer. "Weren't there four entrances."

Luffy giggles, poking a shaking Usopp "One's right and the other's are wrong."

Usopp gasps, looking back at the giggling captain "What!? Don't tell me that now!! What if we chose the wrong one?!"

"If we're wrong, let's see...maybe we'll fall off the sky island." Sanji adds, which doesn't help Usopp whatso ever. He screams as they grow closer to the exit, the light nearly blinding them.

"It's 33,000 feet to the Blue Sea!!" They reach the outside with a woosh, and for a moment, everything was still. Until Usopp looked down and was met with the sight of a waterfall pooling into the clouds below them, and he screamed.

Sanji waits no time grabbing you, hoping you tight as they descend rapidly into the clouds. All he can hear is the screaming of his crewmates and his own bated breath as he holds onto you for dear life.

The clouds shot out around them as they land, the boat shaking at it attempts to balance itself. Sanji's chest heaves up and down, fear rushing through his veins as he takes a look at you. You looked unfazed, the blanket still around you. You were so peaceful, it almost made him forget about the situation they were in right now.

"This is all your fault, you idiot!!" He puts you down gently before kicking Luffy. Usopp sobs as he attempts to calm him breathing, while Luffy simply laughs, which fills Sanji with even more rage.

"Ha ha ha ha!! Ahh...that was scary! I thought I was gonna die." He's almost breathless as he giggles uncontrollably, Sanji rubbing the sole of his shoe deeper into the cheek.

The forest around them was covered in large, white balls, all floating in the air. "Wow!! They're like gigantic snowballs!" Luffy awes, moving away from the cook's foot. Sanji regains his composure, his brows ruffled at the sight. "What's the challenge supposed to be?!" Luffy asks as Sanji sits down next to you, deliberately lighting his cigarette in the opposite direction.

"Who knows? Maybe we're completely safe now. But I doubt it." Sanji mumbles.

At the answer, Luffy jumps up, a determined look on his face as he gazes towards Sanji. "Maybe we chose the right opening! Maybe if we'd chosen one of the others, we'd be in big trouble right now."

Usopp, seemingly recovered from his previous stupor, nods his head slowly. "Oh...yeah you could be right."

Sanji rolls his eyes at the two. "Don't let you guard down! They brought us here to punish us! There's sure to be danger." He blows out some smoke. "Use your head, it's bound to be some kind of trap."

"Stay alert and let's just keep moving forward." Sanji says. "I'll steer, you two keep a lookout on either side." He says as they travel higher and deeper into the jungle.

Sanji looks away for a second before Luffy and Usopp were goofing around, playing catch with one the balls near them while chewing on crackers. "You're supposed to be standing watch!!" Sanji spits at the two as they continue to toss the ball back and forth.

Suddenly, the ball bursts, a vicious snake wriggling towards Usopp, who cowers himself into a ball as Luffy kicks the snake away. He huffs in surprise as Usopp points a shaky finger towards another ball coming Sanji's way.

Sanji kicks the ball away "stupid balls!! Are they all floating snake nests?!" The ball, however, explodes upon contact, the three covered in ash. "These balls are booby-trapped!!" Sanji places his foot down angerly.

"Ho, ho, ho! You never know what's inside them!" They turn their head towards the voice.

"They're surprise clouds." The strange voice says again.

"Hey!! Who was that?!" Usopp mumbles as a large rotund man appears floating on a ball.

"Ho, ho, ho! Heso! You did well to choose my challenge of the ball!" The man begins to dance around on top his ball, angering Sanji and Luffy.

"Stop dancing around! Who are you?!" Sanji yells to the man, assumedly one of Enel vassals.

"Hey, dumpling! Nami and the others better be okay!" Luffy screams to the man, whose smile remains ever present.

"You mean the hostages? I don't know. They're as good as dead, even if they somehow manage to get off the altar. Every road here leads to death."

He hops around so more. "But you'd better worry about yourselves. You have to defeat me if you want to get out of here alive." He hops once more, an array of balls coming towards them.

"He's coming Luffy! Get him!" Usopp yells, Luffy nodding while winding up a punch.

"Ho! So, you can stretch!"

Luffy shoots out a pistol attack, the man dodging it easily. He extends his hand, a powerful blast exploding in Luffy's face. Luffy is pushed backwards, his back hitting a tree.

"Luffy?!"

"Luffy?! Hey, Luffy!! You're all right, aren't you?! No way a simple blow like that could hurt you!" Usopp begs for his friend to wake up, but he remains silent.

"A simple blow?" Steam blows off of the man's hand. "You're wrong there!"

Sanji grits his teeth "I'll show you wrong!!" He extends his leg towards the back of the man.

"Ho, ho!! Head kick, right leg" The man mumbles with a jolly voice as he places his hand on Sanji's face. "Mantra is a power granted only to the faithful."

An explosion goes off, and Sanji falls to the dirt. "Huh, Sanji!!" Usopp screams as he watches Sanji grow still, the man extending his arm towards him, blowing him off the ship.

Luffy recovers soon after Usopp is blown away. In a crazed state, he looks back towards the boat, you being the only one left. He snarls at the round man. "Sanji, Usopp!!." He screams, the two groaning in pain.

"...what is that guy?!" Sanji mumbles in pain as Luffy keeps his eyes locked on you. He can see your chest rise and fall, your nose scrunch up a little, even the twitch of your fingers.

"Ho! Ho! Ho! My name is Satori!! I'm one of the Vassals that serve the omnipotent God Enel!!" The man sings, dancing. "I rule over the varse in the forest of no return."

"No return!" Luffy stands.

"Yes. Your boat will be lost in the great forest." Luffy's heart stops as the boat containing your sleeping body float down the Milky Road.

"Hey!!" Luffy snarls, his fists tightening.

"It will roam this forest on the Milky Road until is eventually finds the only exit on its own." The boat floats away, out of sigh.

"Welcome to the forbidden sacred land, the Upper Yard. Ho! This is the Challange of the ball!"

"Luffy! We have to stop that ship!!" Usopp was now standing near him. Luffy doesn't respond which causes Usopp to chase after the ship.

"Wait, Usopp!!" Sanji yells to him.

"You two take care of the ship. Make sure (Y/N)'s okay." Luffy's voice was quiet as he cracks his knuckles. Sanji doesn't waste any time obeying his captain and running after you.

"Don't be reckless Luffy!! I'll come back as soon as we stop the ship!!' Sanji runs after you, Luffy winding up his arm in a circle.

Luffy stretches his arm towards the Satori, who dodges quickly and grabs onto him. Luffy screams as he's whooshed around, slamming headfirst into a tree, his arm extending back into himself.

"No need to rush. Take it slow and easy." Satori dances around, looking for the others.

"Now then, where are the other two? I won't let a single one get away!" He swings his head back and forth, eyeing the two other rushing the forest. "There they are!"

"Usopp, any signs of the boat! Sanji yells to Usopp who's on the branch of a large tree.

"There!! I see it!!"

"Give me directions!!"

It's straight ahead of you!! Climb the second tree! You should be able to jump from the branch to the ship!"

"Got it!!" Sanji leaps, grabbing on to the tree Usopp points him too.

Satori kicks one of the balls towards Sanji. "Sanji, watch out!! Ball coming your way!!" Usopp screams causing Sanji to look back. The ball zooms towards him, hitting the tree and ricochets off another tree, heading towards Usopp.

The ball doesn't explode, instead a flower blooms out of it, Usopp still falling off the tree in surprise.

Luffy jumps up toward Satori, throwing punch after punch at him. Many of the balls near Satori are pushed away by the impact, some exploding, while others turning into strange creatures. One of these balls becomes a giant eel, biting Luffy which causes him too nearly fall through the clouds before he grabs onto a vine.

Usopp slowly gets up as Luffy swings back towards Satori. "That's it! Now's the time to try out my latest invention!" Usopp flicks down his goggles, eyeing the boat. He shuffles through his bag, pulling out a strange belt that shoots a hook rope towards a branch.

It wraps around the branch, Usopp tugging it to make sure it was secure. "Perfect! It's a straight shot to the ship!!" He says to himself, before swingling towards the boat. He nearly makes it, "The rope is stuck to the belt. I can't drop down!!" Usopp swings back, stuck to the rope.

"Look, let's just forget this little incident. Now, are you two through monkeying around?!" Sanji takes a drag of the cigarette which was somehow still in his mouth.

"Yes!! I'm sorry!!"

"Won't happen again!!"

Sanji takes a breath. "We need to get back to the ship (Y/N) is still--"

Satori floats down, and explosion blowing Sanji back. Blood rushes out of Sanji's mouth, his cigarette no more. His eyes are blown wide as he falls to the ground.

"One down, two to go."

The smell of ash was the first thing you smelled when you awoke.

You slowly sit up, the blanket that was wrapped around you falling from your shoulders.

You were covered in black ash, the blanket losing its blue color.

"My blanket." Was the only thing you could say, your mind still slightly hazy. You swipe some ash off, giving up when it seemingly sticks onto the blanket.

You don't remember finding it, maybe one of the others found it and gave it to you?

Wait, where is everyone. You look around you were alone on a strange boat. Crawling on your knees, you peer over the edge, coming face to face with the Milky Road.

You realized that the boat was speeding down the road, your friends nowhere to be seen. Your heart quickens as you look around the boat for a sign, nothing other than ash left.

"Luffy!!" You cup your hands around you mouth, screaming. "Sanji!! Usopp!! Where are you!!"

Tears stream down you face as no one answers. The forest remains quite as you continue to scream.

"Please!! Anyone!! Where are you?!"

A large dragon made from the balls of clouds towers over the pirates. They lay on the ground, defeated and groaning in pain.

"You might as well give up!! I am a vassal. I know no rival!!" Satori lets out a manic laugh.

"I-I can't go on!! I've had too many scares...my heart won't hold up!!" Usopp was bruised and beaten, his words grating as he speaks.

"You're out of options. Soon your precious ship will be out of the forest!! And then, it will be over!! Ho! Ho!"

"That's not going to happen!!" Luffy stands, extending a punch towards the dragon. It charges after him, Luffy running up a tree and grabbing onto a string right above the dragon.

"Oh!! I get it...this thing's being controlled with a string!!" Luffy snaps the string, Satori howling in shock as he's unable to control the dragon. Using the piece of the sting still attached to the dragon, Luffy pulls the dragon towards Satori, a large explosion rattling through the woods.

Satori takes a breath as he watches smoke travel through the forest. Pieces of wood around him were scorched, heat billowing around them.

"Man, that was close." Luffy mumbles.

"Huh?! You're alive?!" Satori screams.

"Hang onto him Luffy!!! Don't let that lumpy loser out of your grip." Sanji was sitting on one of the balls, Satori growling at him.

"Sanji, you're alive?"

"Barely! You almost killed me with that explosion!!"

"Hey, you guys!! Not fair!! Cowards!! It's two against one!!"

Luffy wraps his arms around Satori, keeping him locked in place as he wobbles about.

"You kidnapped my friends, without warning--made the cute angles cry and tried to kill them! So, you tell me who's the coward." Sanji snarled as he stood.

Luffy lets out a giggle at the man's struggle, his grip tightening. "Being able to predict out moves must be pretty handy in a fight. But it won't do you any good if you can't get out of the way!! Hee, hee!!"

Satori gulps in fear. "Stop!! You fools!! Don't you know what you're doing?! I am a vassal! I serve God! Let go!!" The two were silent, the only sounds being Satori's whimpers.

"Luffy!! Sanji!! Usopp!!" Satori went silent as his attacker's eyes went wide. It was a distant sound, but the two recognized it loud and clear. It was your voice, yelling for them. You were awake.

Luffy's grip becomes painful as Sanji's foot plummets into his face, a sickening crack reverberating through the woods as he falls to the ground.

A crater forms around Satori, his body motionless. Luffy snarls at the man, his chest heaving up and down as your voice rings in his ears. He watches as Sanji grinds his shoe deeper into the man, feeling no remorse when he whimpers in pain.

"Luffy!! Sanji!! I found the boat!! Hurry!! It's about to leave the forest!!" Usopp pants. Luffy spares one last glace towards Satori before rushing towards Usopp.

"Guys!! Grab onto my body!! The boat is heading towards the exit!!" The grab onto him, Luffy wrapping his arms around Usopp in a tight embrace.

"Guys!!" You wave your arms towards them as a rope wraps around the neck of the bird. You watch as the three are flung around, all of them landing on top of you, groaning in pain.

"I'm glad you're okay..." You mumble.

Luffy shoots up instantly wrapping his arms around you as he wails into your shoulder. "I thought you were a goner!! I'm so happy you're okay!!" You hug Luffy tears escaping your eyes as you smile wide.

When Luffy lets you go, Sanji extends a hand to your forehead, "how are you feeling?" His voice is low, it sends shivers down your spine.

"Fine..." Sanji takes a second before putting his hand down, nodding.

"You were cold when you passed out, but you warmed up considerably." He blows out some smoke. "You should keep that blanket on you, just in case."

Oh yeah, the blanket. "Where did you find it? I lost it ages ago?"

Luffy giggles, snuggling up next to you. "I took it."

"Why?" You look at him, his face was calm.

Luffy shrugs. "I wanted it." You realize you weren't going to get much out of him, so you end the questioning there. It's just good you have your blanket back.

"(Y/N) ...you were asleep for a while...are you sure you're, okay?" Usopp asks and you nod. You didn't want to tell them about the dream, afraid of how they'd react. Honestly, you didn't think you could describe it to them. You'd rather keep it to yourself until you figure out what it meant.

The sight in front of you was that of a large field, filled with flowers. Upon closer inspection, they weren't flowers at all, they were skull on top of poles, which sent dread through your body.

You watch the skulls, flinching when one cracks, a bullet passing through one. You and the others duck as a group of men duck and twirl over you. Luffy deflects a bullet, it exploding in the air near one of the men.

"Those are the same masked guerrillas we saw on the white sea!!" You yell, Luffy growling at the man with the bazooka.

"Hey! What's the big idea?! You don't want to mess with us!!" The man lays his bazooka across his shoulder.

"So, you're the ones. The Blue Sea people who are shaking thing up in Skypiea. If you value your life, go back to the Blue Sea." The man's look becomes dark as he looks away. "If you insist on interfering on this island, we'll erase you along with Enel."

"Is that a threat?! Bring it on baldy!!"

"No, stop!! Don't say another word!!" Usopp begs Luffy/

"Of course, that assumes you're even strong enough to get off this island." He and his fellow men whoosh away into the forest, Luffy sitting back down angerly.

"Just who are those guys?!"

"Whoever they are, they aren't friendly with that God Enel guy. And they sure don't seem friendly to us! Let's keep moving." Sanji says as they steer forward.

It didn't take too long before you finally reached the alter with all your friends. With the help of Sanji, you made it back onto the boat, it being in complete disarray. Parts of it was burned and the mast was completely gone.

"Oh, Usopp! I'm sorry. I tried to stop him. But there was a big fire...I did what I could." Chopper cried.

Usopp shook his head. "Did you take care of your wounds?"

"Huh?" Chopper tilted his head.

"A burning spear is serious business!! I'm just glad you didn't get burned to a crisp. A mast can always be replaced, but we can't replace you."

"Oh..."

"Speaking of wounds, (Y/N) needs a checkup, Chopper." Sanji leads you towards the reindeer. He jumps at the sight of you, nervous and covered in ash.

"Oh! What happened!!" Chopper takes your hand, but you stand still as he tries to pull you.

"I'm fine, I just got scared and passed out." You smile at him. "There's bigger things to worry about right now." Chopper lets go of your hand, albeit slowly, patting the back of it before moving towards Luffy.

"Chopper!! Where's the weird old guy? Didn't you say he was badly injured?" Chopper lights up.

"Yeah!! The sky knight!!" Chopper leads the crew into the medical room, the sky knight laying on a cot, unconscious.

"All because he gave us a whistle and came back to help us. If the sky knight hadn't come, the ship and I would be goners." Chopper reminisces solemnly. Luffy crouches down next to the knight, messing with his beard. The Sky Knight's bird was watching his owner with a look that made even you feel bad.

"There're lot of things I wanna ask him, but let's wait until he's awake." Sanji takes a quick look at the bird. "You too, thanks."

Sanji takes his hands out of his pockets, wiping his hands together with a deep breath. "Well, we're not going to fix the ship tonight, so returning to angle island will have to wait till tomorrow."

You all walk out of the medical room, Sanji pointing toward the forest. "Let's go set up camp by the lakeside Should anything happen, it'll be easier to fight there." Luffy shoots up in excitement.

"Yahoo!! Yes!! We're going camping!!" It was nice seeing everyone being so normal, especially after everything that's happened. You watch as Luffy goofs around with Chopper and Usopp, not noticing Robin taking a spot next to you.

"You should really get checked up; you look sick." You jump at the sound of her voice, laughing nervously at her concerned look.

"I think I'm just hungry." You reply.

"Well then, let's go eat." Robin takes you hand and pulls you towards the land. Her hold was strangely constricting, like she was trying to keep you as close as possible. Her hold let up as you got to your camping spot, Sanji already cooking, motioning you over to cry some.

"Attention! Everyone, thank you for your reports!! Many things are becoming clear thank to the data." You chew on a skewer as Usopp continues his tirade. You've all spent about an hour listening to the others recount what they've been doing while the four of you look for them. The one that stood out particularly, was Robin detailing her finding a dilapidated city deep in the jungle. "It turns out this island is the very "El Dorado" that the monkey mountain allied force was searching for!!"

"No kidding?!" Luffy spit out his food at the revelation.

"I told you earlier!!" Nami shouts at him.

Luffy swallows a large gulp of meat. "A city of gold, huh? Now this is the kind of adventure I've been waiting for." He stands up, wiping his hands on his pants. "Alright!! let's find that gold!!"

You sigh at Luffy's exuberances, placing down the stick from your now finished skewer. "Okay, well then we should get previsions for tomorrow." You announce. "Some of you should go and get some more food, we should also boil some water..." You list things off one by one, the others getting to work.

Instead of helping, Luffy decides he'd be the one to watch the water boil instead of help. He lays on the ground close to the fire, groaning as it continues to bubble.

"Man! This is so boring!" He rolls over dramatically.

"You don't have to watch the pot, stupid. When there's enough distilled water in the bowl pour it into the flask." Sanji chops away at some vegetables. "That's all you have to do. We need water tomorrow, enough for each one of us." He directs as Chopper and Zoro get back from collecting food.

You listen to the chatter of the crew as you help put food away into boxes. You huff, sweaty and exhausted, still tired from passing out earlier. You wipe your forehead with your hands, Zoro giving you a strange look as he walks by.

"You good?" Zoro raises a brow at you, his frown deepening when you nod.

"I'm fine." You say, you're voice stilted. "When does everyone think I'm not fine."

"Maybe because you look like you're going to pass out again." You role your eyes, picking up a hammer to seal the box before Zoro takes it away from you, smirking when you grow frustrated.

"You can get the hammer back when you go rest." He saunters away, the hammer tight in his hands. You gape at him, staring at the back of his head with a stupid look.

"Zoro, come help cook the stew." He groans at the sound of Sanji's voice, placing the hammer in one of his pockets before walking towards him.

"My swords aren't made for this!" Zoro was steaming a rock over a fire, his brows furrowed as he places the stone into the stew.

"Huh?! We're eating rocks too!?" Luffy stares as Sanji covers the pot.

"As if! This is "Hot Rock Stew!"" The pot sizzles. "The heat from the hot rocks cooks the stew. When you cook this way, the ingredients keep more their nutrients."

You take a seat next to Nami, who was drawing a map on a log. "Alright everyone!" Nami yells as everyone gathers around her. "Ready? First a review of Noland's picture book. He first discovered El Dorado 400 years ago. Several years later when he returned to Jaya, not a trace of gold was to be found."

Food is passed around, Chopper handing you a blow of stew with a smile. "In other words, during those few years, this island, which is the fragment of Jaya wound up in the sky."

"On the knock up stream?" You mumble, Nami nodding.

"Yes, that's the only explanation. Cricket said that the location of the underwater explosion differs each time. An explosion like that would send any island flying."

"It's just hard to image this insanely huge forest is the same forest we saw on Jaya." Zoro says with a mouth full of food.

"That's probably due to the difference between "sea clouds" and "Island clouds." It sems that there's something about the environment that of the Skypiea that has the power to rabidly speed up the growth of fauna and flora." Robin explains.

"The south birds which save us were huge too." Chopper extends his arms out wide for emphasis.

"About that...why did the south birds save you guys." Sanji asks.

"I don't know. Maybe it's related to everyone calling the sky knight "God."" Zoro chokes on his food while Luffy gapes at Chopper.

"God!" Luffy points as the Sky Knight laying on the medical bed. "So, we just need to beat up that old man?!"

"No Luffy!" You yell at him.

Nami ignores Luffy's screaming. "Noland also mentioned "Gold Ingots shaped like a bell" and south birds."

Robin nods. "And on the last page was scrawled a seemingly nonsensical sentence supposedly the last thing Noland wrote before he died. I saw gold in the skull's right eye."

Nami nods quickly, "That's it!!" She pulls out a paper. "Look at this!! I rescaled a map of Jaya that Robin picked up and paired it with an old map of Skypiea. It's an approximation, but when you line up the house of the seashore..."

She lines both the maps up, them linking together to form one large island. "This is the shape of Jaya four hundred years ago." You mumble.

You think for a second, gasping and pointing at the map. ""The right of the skull", Noland was talking about the shape of the entire Island." You say, Usopp gasping.

Nami smiles, pointing at you. "But there's only half an island left, so it's no wonder the mystery couldn't be solved."

"Treasure!!" Luffy jumps up, yelling towards the sky.

"Tomorrow, we can head straight for this point. We can't just abandon the ship so we should divide into two teams!!:

Nami smirks, clearly dreaming of the berries she could get. "Make no mistake!! A vast treasure trove of gold awaits us!!!"

The others celebrate the discovery by bonfire, the sun completely set at the only sounds being those of bugs and celebration.

You sat farther away, fighting off sleep. "Why don't you go celebrate with them."

The Sky Knight was finally awake, his body covered in a cloak. You shrug at the man. He gives you a strange look you try and ignore as he sits down next to you.

"I overheard you meeting earlier. I understand this island was once called Jaya. In Skypiea this place is called "sacred ground." Do you know why?"

He takes a handful of dirt. "For you all, this land is something you take for granted. But here in the sky this shouldn't even exist. Things can grow on island clouds, but they can't be born there. Greenery and soil don't normally exist in the sky."

"We call this varse." You gape at him, your eyes wide as you watch the dirt fall back onto the ground.

The old man takes a look at you, the same strange one from earlier. "You're not from this world, are you?"

What you didn't know is that while you were telling him the name of the island, he would stare at you very intently, but his desire for adventure got the better of him, something that didn't happen to his crew who began to see you With that same curiosity

Each one of the crew went down to catch up with their captain but each one took the time to see you, they passed by you and with that fixed gaze like a hawk towards a mouse . You thought it would all end there but before you said anything else, a certain You saw how the captain came back because he didn't know where to go, so he saw that you were there and said "Hey, you guide us on this island!" You were going to protest but you felt the man with the three katanas grab your arm and start pulling you. Where was their captain, from there with the look that said you had to do it... Your cowardly side came out and you began to take them around your little island.

"what is your name?" It was the Black Haired woman's question who was Nico Robin. "Y/N," that's all you answered as they walked, everyone started asking you questions about where you lived, what you'd like to do. Your favorite food (First alarm that you didn't detect) that's when they arrived at the center of the island and when you said you were going to leave, you were only grabbed again, this time for Sanji "The Captain said you would guide us around the WHOLE island" (Second alarm that you didn't notice)

You sighed and from there you went all afternoon with the straw hats, each one seemed to pull you and take you to different places, those who already knew you had that doubt as to why you were with them but they decided to leave it aside

With Luffy you went to every food stall wanting to try everything.

Zoro was more likely to get lost at every moment so you had to direct him well.

"If you want to travel, join my crew!" You were in shock for a few seconds... So out of inertia you raised and lowered your head (Error) since he took it as a yes and smiled

It was time to go, it was already quite late, you had already told them that you had to go home, you said it while you were getting up.And with caution you were moving away from them little by little... Something that Luffy didn't like that So he stretched out his arm and caught you, he pulled you closer to him and you felt the others crowd around you.

"You said yes, now you're my Nakama" You saw how everyone nodded, you didn't have the strength to say anything... Not even running, not screaming, nothing... So Luffy sat you next to him and the banquet continued. After a few hours, the alcohol took effect and you fell further.Not before seeing how everyone smiled

The next morning, your eyes opened You see that you are not in your bed at home so it was not a dream, you immediately got up, went out and no longer saw Your island, only sea...

It's canon that Luffy is very physically affectionate. Whenever Luffy sees you he'll hug you so tightly you won't be able to move. He'll kiss your cheek and talk about how much he loves you.

Luffy does understand that you're afraid of him and don't want him touching you, but he just doesn't care! You're his, you belong to him, you're his Pirate Queen, nobody else's...

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

He'll burn down an entire village if it means you won't leave him. The only people he doesn't mind you talk to, hang out with or share you with is his crew, nobody else.

When he took you he forced you to watch your home burn. He held you as it all burned, his eyes covered by his hat as he held a large grin on his face.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

He would treat you like he treats his crew, but you get treated a bit differently.

He's always hugging you and begging for your attention. He loves to spoil you rotten, even if he's broke he can just steal something.

He likes to have you wear his strawhat and he likes to cuddle with you.

Luffy talks about you so often, talking about how you're going to be the future Pirate Queen and how amazing you are.

He loves to tease you and call you pathetic because you just cry when you touches you, you don't even put up a fight.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

He doesn't respect your boundaries, not one little bit. He'll chain you to his bed and leave you there for days just because you did hug him back.

Whenever you and the Strawhats stop at some town, you have to be with Luffy. He'll buy you stuff and drag on his little adventures.

He loves it when you cry, it's one his dark secrets but what he loves even more is you smile. So, he always tried to make you laugh so he can see that beautiful smile, something he hasn't seen ever since he took you.

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

He doesn't expose much to you, but he can get pretty vulnerable if you let him.

He cries into your chest whenever he thinks about Ace's death, he wants your love and care, that's all he wants right now.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

He'd be annoyed. Don't you see he just wants to keep you safe? The world is a dangerous place and he won't let someone as pretty as you be taken by it.

The longer you fight him the more upset he becomes. He'll just snap and punch you in the stomach, and catch you as you fall. He'll kiss you as he tied you up in ropes, a gag in your mouth and you wearing nothing but your undergarments.

"You're going to stay here until you've learned your lesson, I love you!"

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

The chances of you escaping are very low, and they get even lower if Luffy is sharing you with someone, like Zoro for example.

It's one of those rare times Luffy is serious. No smiling, no giggling, nothing. He'll just drag you back onto the ship while mumbling something under his breath. He'll throw you into his room really fucking hard, you probably broke one of your ribs. He'll lock you into his closet after he roughed you up a bit. You crying because one of your ribs are broken, your nose bleeding and bruises on your body. He wouldn't let you out for days.

When he goes to sleep you can hear him crying from the closet, him telling you that it's your fault he can't hold you at night anymore.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them? .

Everytime his Darling pisses him off they'll wish they were never born.

Luffy will break you arms without feeling a single ounce of guilt. He'll be a bit confused when he sees you flinching and crying whenever he hugs you.

One time he shattered you ribs because you tried to escape while the crew was at a town. He hugged you so tight when he found you that you could hear your bones crack, and when you cried and begged him to stop, he just kissed you tears as he talked about how much he missed your face.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

For you to be his Pirate Queen! Even if you may not love him by then, it's ok!

He'll make sure your strong and have a high bounty like him, since the Queen Of Pirates can't be weak and pathetic forever afterall.

Luffy doesn't care a lot about having kids, if you want any he'll give you some. Stockholm Syndrome will kick in soon, you just don't know when.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

When Luffy is jealous he acts like a child. Whining out your name while he clings onto you, embarrassing you.

Luffy and you would be shooting in some town, him chosing outfits he wants to see you in, and then suddenly some random guy starts to flirt with you. Luffy would puff up his cheeks and cling onto you, yelling mine over and over again, drawing people's attention.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

He's so clingy it isn't even funny. He's going to make you as dependent he is with you. He'll be kissing you and hugging you all the time.

His sex drive is so low some people think he's asexual. Luffy isn't asexual, but he just doesn't care about sex and just wants to become Pirate King. If you ask him to have sex he'd say sure, because as long as he's touching you and you love him, he's happy.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

Luffy didn't understand his feelings at first. One-day he was talking with Sanji and Zoro about random stuff, and then Sanji brought up love. Zoro rolled his eyes, not even surprised that the Love Cook talked about love.

Luffy talked about how he felt around you. He said he felt butterflies in his stomach, whenever you talked to him he was happy, and whenever he saw you he wanted to hug and kiss you. Sanji said that he has to be with love, saying that was how he felt around Nami-chan, but Zoro hit Sanji in the head before he agreed.

Luffy would come up to you randomly and say that he loved you, yelling it so loud everyone heard it. Nami and Sanji were so disappointed by the way he confessed. Luffy would be laughing with a big grin on his face while you stand there stunned.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

No, Luffy is just his usual smiling goofball self!

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

Luffy can be extremely violent when you push him. Luffy's minor punishments are like not being allowed to eat dinner and not being allowed to leave his room.

Big punishments tho are like being locked in his closet for days. No matter how hard you bang on the door, no matter how loud you shout or how much you cry, he isn't budging. Like one time you tried to escape, but Luffy wanted to try something new. It honestly depends on the thing. Luffy is kinda confused on why you don't love him right away, but Sanji tells him love takes time, so Luffy is extremely paitent when trying to get your love, even if it bothers him.

His entire world would shatter if you died or left him and he was never able to find you. He'd feel like he saw Ace die again and it would be too much for him to handle.

He'd have a mental breakdown, and if someone killed you he's going to murder them. He doesn't care if he's bleeding everywhere and barely able to move, he's going to kill them.

He'd be pretty cold after that. His energetic self gone and he'd barely eat. But as time goes on he accepts your death and moves on, like what he did when Sabo 'died'.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

Luffy is a pretty clingy character. Just like everyone else, he doesn't want to lose his loved ones, like how he'd do anything to keep his crew safe.

He'd react the same way he did with Nami when he saw her crying back in Arlong Park, pretty much like that.

Luffy doesn't worship his darling, but he doesn't want his darling to worship him. He wants to have a normal, balanced relationship with his beloved.

If he never got to understand his feelings, he'd never snap. Once he understands them, he'll barely last a week.

Tbh, you'll only have some PTSD, but you won't break. You're more likely to get Stockholm Syndrome.
