I got real excited about the give away too I went back and read my fav fics of yours to see which was #1 to me and my goodness 😤😤. I know I love the way you write but forget the details why until I'm reading your work again and just 😖💕 you write them so human and your dialogue is so natural and smooth, it's so so good. I do love Law, my lovely brooding bias, so my thoughts are mainly how you write him and gUAH!! Sometimes I feel like some authors condense him down to his tropes where you make him feel like a person and keep his intentions and motivations in mind. It's believable and I think in character of how your write him, at least in my mind it lines up perfectly with how I see him acting.

But my faaaaaav!! Was ✨Breathless✨!! cause OOAAAHGGGGGUHHH!!!! I love hands. I will not lie. Love em. Love his. And like it's so simple but such a tender intimate moment you wrote with the hand massage and mmmshdifudbhdufhf AND YOU WRITE HIM SO SNARKY AND CUTE!!!! AND WHEN HE LAUGHS!?!?!?!? As embarassing as it was to admit, there were days where you'd wake up abruptly as if hearing his footsteps, or the faint rumble of his voice lulling you to sleep. There were moments where you'd break down crying upon seeing an article of clothing belonging to carlos, or seeing pictures when you were still happily together.

It wasn't easy to forget an eight year relationship. You soon realized. He was all you've ever known and adored... You dreamt a life with the guy for crying out out loud!

You wanted all the permanent things, the domestic future, him.

But the reality was that you were different people who wanted starkly different things in life. Carlos was set on his career while you had the burden of being a woman. You didn't have forever to waste away, and you didn't want to spend it waiting for a future that could never be in the stars for you and him.

You had accepted it. It wasn't all tears, and tearful reminiscing anyways. Your life had picked up after a couple of weeks. It was a lie. You spent a month and a half being pathetic. But who was counting?

You were having the time of your life. Your singleness provided a way for you to realize new and old hobbies.

You finally went back to your hometown, despite your fears of facing your parents' knowing looks and getting an ill timed i told you so's from their ever skeptic way of seeing life. Especially your relationship with Carlos..

But your mother took one look at you; in your deshieveled and devastated form, wordlessly opening her arms and craddling your pathetic self as you wept about your broken heart.

You found peace in the tranquility of your childhood home. Reacquainting yourself with your horse, champion whom you had been neglecting— you realize belatedly. The help couldn't take the horses out that much, where you formerly took the stallion out for most of the day. You made sure to make up for lost time however.

You were also able to rekindle old friendships, quickly becoming fast friends once again as if no time had passed at all. You traipsed all over Madrid, enjoying the thrill of meeting new people, of learning new things... And how forward the current dating scene seemed to be in regards to matters concerning...

"Wait, wait." You press a hand towards his broad chest, breathing roughly. Your chest rose and fell with excitement as you tried to come down from how fast the things had quickly become heated between the two of you. "We're going a bit too fast, don't you think?" You whine under your breath, as his face came down to press open mouthed kisses on your neck, easily finding your most sensitive spot as he expertly manouvers your body, backing you up against the wall.

"Relax. We won't do anything you don't want." He says, softening his tone, "I'm not a hooligan." He tuts, pressing a feather like kiss on the side of your lips.

"Says the man who pulled me into a dark room to play tonsil tennis." You retort amusedly, stroking your fingers on his neck. You couldn't help but close your eyes at the sensation of his lips against your skin, his fingers making quick work of slipping under your skirt, and you hissed from the sensation of his cold rings against your thighs, "You're cold!"

"Warm me up then, love." He was evidently amused by your reactions and the way your cheeks flushed at his crude remark. He wiped away every other thought from your mind, as he kisses you wantonly. He made sure to hold your gaze as he pulls away, sinking down to his knees... and kissing your thighs softly. "Beautiful. So fucking beautiful. I couldn't think of anything else when you walked into the room. Nobody else mattered but you... you're bad for my business, darling."

You could hardly register anything else after that

The breakup came with the long forgotten territory of male attention. Sure, there were some bold and uncaring lads few and far between, but Carlos had quickly shut down every attempt with a swift glare and a possesive hand over you. You didn't mind. You only needed him and his attention and everyone else were merely annoying backnoise.

As it is, your breakup was made public through the urging of Carlos' management and his public relations team. You cooperated seamlessly despite being civil, to the point of rudeness, to their every demand.

How ironic was it that through his blatant act of wanting to separate himself from you and everything else that had to do with you; he made a declaration to the world that you were readily available.

Your dms were sure packed to the brim when you'd later had the energy to do anything asides from the basic tasks of taking care of yourself. You couldn't laugh nor cry upon seeing several of carlos' work acquaintances making their presence known in your dms. You even saw his former (and possibly current) teammates taking their shot.

You couldn't help but wonder for how long has he been... Non committal towards his best mates about your real score. They couldn't possibly muster up the courage had it been the true duration of your separation. Men aren't that proactive. They atleast had some base sense of loyalty.

Then again, it didn't take very long for him to be spotted with some model on his arm. He looked happy, invigorated... Annoyingly handsome. Fuck him and his perfect face. You wished you atleast threw a heel at him for being a dickwad.

Were you seeing other people out of spite or trying to prove yourself to him? You wouldn't exactly say so. You'd had an agreement with the well established, and good looking gentleman who had made you tremble and writhe under his tongue. He was incredibly lax and cool, and great company in every sense of the word. He made you laugh, he also made you cry just now.

And so while you made yourselves look presentable, you were first out the door while he waited a few minutes to make his entrance into the party again. You gratefully took a flute of champagne from a passing waiter, wetting your parched throat as you looked around as normally as you could. Blending in with the fancy people in their cocktail dresses and designers.

You heard footsteps approaching after a few moments. Another man spotted him, and he grinned in recognition upon the sight of the ever famous....

"Sir Hamilton!"

You hover awkwardly at the doorway of the classroom-turned-detention-room, feeling the sudden piercing eyes of three Slytherins on you.

McGonagall huffs in disappointment, pats your shoulder, and leaves without a word. The boys all share a look you can’t quite decipher.

“Well, well, well. What’ve we got here?” One of them drawls, putting his feet up on his desk and crossing them at the ankle. “A pretty-boy Hufflepuff got in trouble?”

You rock back and forth on your feet, biting your lip nervously.

“Aww, he’s nervous,” another Slytherin cooed patronizingly. “What’s wrong, little badger? Afraid of a few snakes?”

The first boy stands up, sauntering over to you with an obnoxious smirk. He holds his hand out for you to shake.

“Mattheo Riddle, darling.”

You slowly take his hand and shake it, your grip loose.

“Nice to meet you,” you say softly. “I’m Y/N.”

“Y/N,” the second boy purrs, joining the first, Mattheo. “Lovely name for a lovely boy. I’m Theodore, sweetheart.”

You swallow thickly, the two taller boys standing over you.

“Leave ‘im alone, guys,” the last boy speaks up. “I’m calling dibs.”

“W-what?” You squeak, your eyes darting between the three as they all share another wordless look.

“Come along, little badger,” Theodore grins widely, predatorily, slinging an arm over your shoulders. “We don’t bite.”

“Unless you ask us to,” Mattheo adds on, joining your other side and wrapping an arm around your waist.

Your cheeks burn with the innuendo and all of the attention. “Er…no, I’m alright. Thank you.”

“If you ever change your mind…” Mattheo shrugs, leaving the offer unspoken.

The third boy finally stands up, swatting away Mattheo and Theodore. They both, surprisingly, acknowledge him and step away from you.

“Ignore these idiots,” he says fondly. “They think only with their dicks and never their brains.”

The Theos™ immediately break out into loud protests at the accusation. The third Slytherin rolls his eyes.

“I’m Lorenzo, but most people call me Enzo.”

“What do you call yourself?” You ask, voice still soft and almost getting lost in the clamor of the two other boys.

“What?”

“You told me what people call you…but what do you call yourself?”

He blinks.

“Uh, Lorenzo, I guess.”

You nod. “Lovely to meet you, Lorenzo.”

“I have a feeling that it’s lovelier meeting you, Y/N.”

~~~ “So why did you get detention?” Theodore asks, looking up at you from where he lays on the floor of the library, the spot you four had chosen to further converse at after your sentence was served. “You don’t seem like the type to really do…anything wrong.”

You wince, closing your book and relaxing further into the comfortable couch. “I uh, tried to ask this guy to Hogsmeade this weekend-” The boys all sit up at this, a dark look passing over each of their faces. “-but he uh…did not reciprocate,” you laugh humorlessly, running your fingers along your orbital bone.

They can barely see it—it’s still too early—but a definite bruise is starting to form. It’s going to turn into a hell of a black eye by tomorrow.

“He hit you?” Theodore asks, his voice low.

You shrug. “Comes with the territory of being the uh, ‘Puff Poof’, as they call me.”

“Creative. Put a lot of work into that one.”

“Tell me about it,” you grumble.

“Wait, how did you get in trouble then? If you were the one who got beat up in the first place?” Mattheo asks, his face scrunched up in confusion.

“Oh, I called Dumbledore a uh…‘batshit crazy abuser with a sanctimonious attitude and a god complex’. As it turns out, he did not like that.”

They all stare at you for a moment before bursting into laughter.

“Holy shit.”

“Talk about misjudging someone, damn.”

Your laughter eventually dies off and the conversation comes back around.

“So, Y/N, uh, what was this guy’s name?” Lorenzo asks sweetly, innocently. “Just..curious, is all.”

You huff, rolling your eyes. “Cormac McLaggen.”

They all collectively grimace.

“I know, okay? No need to rub it in.”

“You have terrible taste,” Mattheo scowls. “Asking out fucking McLaggen when we’re right here.”

“Yeah, don’t need to worry about him anymore, sweetheart,” Theodore says, sitting up from his spot on the floor and moving over to settle between your thighs and rest his chin on your knee. “We’re enough, aren’t we?”

Your cheeks burn at their words.

The threat comes not from Theodore, but Lorenzo.

You gape, bewildered, as Lorenzo leads you down the hall, humming to himself like nothing happened.

It never ceased to amaze you how gentle Killer was with you.

Hands that could rip a man's head clean from his body held you with the utmost tenderness, the power in his grip never more than what you could handle.

Watching him crush pirates left and right with a cheerful cackle always sent shivers over your skin, sometimes distracting you from your own fight as you sliced men down.

It was the moments at night that reminded you just how gentle this giant could be, cradling your body to his as if you were made of porcelain. You weren't small or dainty; you were hardy and fit in your own way, your skin scarred and full of stretch marks, but every time, Killer would trace your flesh with the softest touch.

There's a soft hum from the man, his mind still wandering as he continues to kiss your hand.

Finally, he gives you a side-eyed glance for less than a moment before letting his eyes close again.

You frown slightly, shifting your body so you're resting over top of him, your face hovering over his as you stare him down. His arm moves from your shoulder to your waist as he tries to fight the slow grin that rises but is unable to, giving a dramatic sigh as he snaps his eyes open to give you a mocking look in return.

"Yes?” He presses again, raising an eyebrow at the expression on your face. You continue to stare down at him for a few moments before finally asking,

“Why are you so afraid to get rough with me?”

Killer freezes under you, his eyes slowly reopening to stare up at you as his thoughts begin to race. His mouth opens to respond, but nothing comes out, just a mildly choked sound that barely escapes his throat.

You tilt your head slightly, brows furrowing as you continue,

“Do you think you'll hurt me or something?”

“Of course I do.”

His response nearly cuts you off, worry and anxiety laced in his words as you stare at each other. You felt your heart sink slowly as you murmur sadly,

“... do you think I'm weak?”

Killer sits up so fast that he almost flings you off him, if not for his grip around your waist. You give a sound of surprise, clinging to his shoulders as he sits you in his naked lap.

“Never in a million years would I think so lowly of you,” he barely gets out, holding your hips tightly in his massive hands, his thumbs rubbing small circles into your flesh. “Never would I think that you're weak. I just…”

You wait patiently for him to keep going, your hands slowly rubbing up and down his forearms tenderly.

“... I would never forgive myself if I hurt you.”

You hummed softly at his words, leaning forward to rest your forehead against his as you asked,

“Not even if I wanted you to hurt me?”

He pulled away to gawk at you, horrified conviction across his face as he snapped,

"Are you insane? What kind of person would want that?"

You shrugged, glancing to the side before murmuring,

“I would, if it's you. I trust you,” You looked back to him as you continued, “I love you, but you act like I'm made of glass, as if you'd shatter me into a million pieces if you fucked me too hard.”

Killer simply stares, blinking a few times as he mulled over your words. You took his silence as rejection, giving a soft sigh as you tried to reason with him.

“I love you, regardless. I just… I don't know, sometimes I just… want more. I love being with you, and being intimate with you is something I'll never take for granted, I just wish you trusted yourself the way I trust you.”

Killer remains silent, his hands still caressing your hips as he takes in your plea. He gives a heavy sigh before leaning in and capturing your lips in his, only pulling away to murmur,

“I love you.”

You gave him a warm smile in return, kissing him back and clinging to him as he wraps you in his arms, your bare front pressing into his.
