A/N: je suis back~ in these headcanons i talk about the type of person i imagine each member with, along with some of the traits i think they wouldn’t be too fond of. i did NOT include physical traits (ex: “would like a short/tall/blonde s/o”) because i really don’t know them??? lmao also that kind of thing could be a bit damaging to someone’s self esteem, and i want yall to know ur perfect & beautiful so

Taeil

I see Taeil getting with someone who’s not only mature (personality-wise, actual age doesn’t matter) but also very determined and decisive. He’d like a person that doesn’t change their mind about things too often, learns well from their mistakes and is just all-around balanced. Other traits that I think he’d look for: politeness, a MUST; grounded; good at giving advice. Pretty much a twin-flame of his.

I think he’d find it cute if they think in a detail-oriented way and appreciate the small things in life. A positive, grateful mentality would be SO attractive to him, I swear.

One of his deal breakers would most likely be excessive jealousy and possessiveness. He trusts you and your love for him, and I think he’d feel distraught if you were constantly questioning the relationships he has with other people (friends, co-workers, fans, etc.)

Last important thing: needs a person that can take a hit. He’s probably looking for someone he can spend the rest of his days with, so a quitter just isn’t good for that. There will be difficult moments in the future and he needs to know they won’t give up on him and on the life he chose.

Taeyong

I think Taeyong would like a calm person that knows how to take control of the relationship. He probably feels tired sometimes from leading a group of 23 people, so I can imagine he’d be thrilled if he was able to not worry at all when he’s around his partner. He trusts they’re capable of dealing with any problems that may arise and keep their feet on the ground. Bonus points if they have a good relationship with themselves.

By that I mean: you know how people say you can’t truly love others until you love yourself? Yeah, that. He’s a person like any other, and there are times when he struggles with self-love, but he needs someone that doesn’t hate themselves, or he’ll simply go crazy. With his career come so many rumours and moments that tear at his confidence… he just doesn’t need a person that has to be convinced every single day that they’re worthy of the good things in life.

I’d say, in general, all he asks for is someone that can watch out for themselves. He’d take care of them too, but he’d like it SO much if just for once in his life he’s the one being cared for. Would just melt on the spot if you have that caring, almost parental instinct in you. Gods, yes. That’s all I can say.

Johnny

I can see him being with a very bright, smart person. He’d like someone that comes from a different background so he could learn more about their life—whether that means the country they were born in or their field of work. I think he would appreciate a very laid back person that doesn’t get stressed too often and won’t make fun of him for his bad jokes. Also, doesn’t like people that try to play him. Honesty above all.

He’d like it if they are super curious and creative, too. Picking up new hobbies and interests is something he’d be up to anytime, and it doesn’t matter what it is either. He’d give anything a try—from knitting to marine biology, no questions asked.

Something he’d dislike is if the person is too materialistic. It’s not like he’s a completely spiritual being and lives with 0 detachments to objects but he’s a firm believer in what Antoine de Saint-Exupéry said: what is essential is invisible to the eye. And, you know, what you truly find essential is up to you; it can mean family, friends, love, hope, all of that… he just wants you to love life itself as much as he does.

Yuta

He’d probably like one of the two drastic variants: a very gentle, sweet person or someone who’s on his level of flirtatiousness and boldness. Wouldn’t mind any, but he needs a strong personality, either way, you know? No blandness here.

Something very attractive to him is being involved in social issues and caring for the world around you. Very sexc, yes, and also likes people that make others smile.

Something that would make him quite literally give up on someone is the excessive fear of change, or just the will to remain in their comfort zone at all costs. He earns for a person that wants to live life to its fullest. If not they’re not ride-or-die to that level, then he hopes they at least accompany and support him in all of the things he wants to do.

One thing that is very tied to that is his dislike for know-it-alls. He lives in such a diverse scenario that it’s just dumb for him to think someone would ever be capable of knowing every piece of information on everything that’s out there. He’s fine with people making mistakes, but if they can’t admit to that or admit they don’t know something he just gets pissed off. So, yeah, he’d avoid stuck-ups.

Doyoung

He’d like someone very loyal and fair, who treats people with respect but calls them out if they ever have to. I think he’d prefer a person that is naturally a deep thinker and wouldn’t lose their mind over small disagreements.

Much like Johnny, he likes that intellectual side of yours, and when I say that I don’t mean like “ah, he’d want to date a math genius” or something. No, no. I’m referring to all types of intellectuality and intelligence. The thing for him is simply using your brain and being proud of it. He would just dislike a person that kind of lives life on autopilot, you know?

He’d like it if they’re interested or professionally involved with music somehow and would consider their opinions in his career. He wouldn’t mind if their taste is hugely different from his, though. It’s alright if pop music is not your favourite or if you have no idea who EXO is (lol). All he wants is to see the world through your eyes too, in all aspects of life including this one.

Will also love you forever if you side with him when he’s being teased by the others, because, c’mon, it’s always 22 people against poor, defenceless Doyoung. Please don’t join them, he’s begging you—

Jaehyun

This is very, very clear to me but he needs to be with an independent person. He’s quite sentimental and he has his more romantic moments, sure, but he wants someone that can give him the space he needs when he needs it. A person that’s constantly begging him for attention would be way more of a burden than anything else.

Also, he’s 100% alright with someone that has a very explicit and loud love language (like saying “I love you” 300 times a day) but he’s not like that, and he needs them to see that. Jaehyun could NOT be with a person that doesn’t appreciate the love he shows in the little things, like making coffee in the morning, and if they ever question the way he feels… yeah, not good. He’d feel misunderstood and that’s a big no-no.

He’d find it cute if they’re bubbly or just very youthful but is also capable of falling for an old soul that shares his interests in things like classical music and vinyls. I don’t think he’d ever get with someone that's kind of a tech addict, though, idk why but that’s quite clear to me. Always being on your phone or caring too much about social media would probably make him feel like you’re not grateful for the things you have around you, in real life. So, yeah, not attractive, bestie.

Jungwoo

Jungwoo is a very, very, very sweet person and he needs someone who’s also like that. He wouldn’t care if that’s there for everyone to see, in the sense that they’re not shy about it, or if it’s a part of them that only a couple of close people know. As long as it’s there, he’s happy.

Aside from that, I think he’s fully capable of falling in love with quite literally anyone. He can see the beauty in all types of people, from all places, backgrounds, races, and just—anyone. He’s just so full of love for people, ah I can’t even. He’s too good for this world.

Some things that could, however, push him away from getting to know someone: a negative way of thinking, being too traditionalistic, and too much scepticism. He’s fine with people that like to honour the past and their roots but like, you’ve gotta keep up with the world you live in and accept that things change. I think that’s very tied to how much he likes defying masculine standards, too.

The scepticism thing is quite simple: he can handle teasing just fine but if they’re constantly making fun of him for wearing his heart on his sleeve or being a bit goofy, he’d feel kind of betrayed.

That post u made about sexualising the maknae line? In total agreement. Like jk is literally a few months older than me and little teen me had a total crush but now looking back on those videos in my twenties? Like the reaction is just 'little baby jk! So cute!' and thats it! I wanna squish his cheeks and coo! If anyone out there sees the younger vids of them and ur reaction is something more explicit 😬🤨 u need to take a step back and think about that. We do not support that behaviour!!!! 😠

The worst thing is the girl made a video to one of my replies to her which was “it doesn’t matter how old you where when it came out- you’re still a 25 year old sexualizing a video of someone who just turned 18” saying stuff like “no one brought age into until you commented and you’re the creepy one for thinking about it that way” like no- just no. By that argument (and I know I’m being hyperbolic also Tw: child porn) it would be okay to watch child porn if you knew the kid was born in the same year as you.

Sexualizing them when they’re younger and saying it’s okay just because they’re adults now only makes it easier for people to manipulate kpop idols who are currently minors- from like- expectations of the industry. I’m not @‘ing any group but like...when I think of NCT dream- a group that is nearly indistinguishable from its other groups in terms of aesthetic and practices but is specifically all minors- it’s extremely suspicious and a little problematic in my opinion to have them do similar concepts to fully matured groups.

When you look at the difference between nct dream and txt- like txt didn’t touch anything remotely dark until a year into their career and even now- with soobin and yeonjun firmly in their 20’s, and all but one above 18- they’re still reluctant to portray anything that relies too heavily on fans expectations of boy groups.

There is litterally nothing that you could say to me that would make me even LOOK at anyone under 20 as anything other than just a child. And that’s fucking healthy behavior for a 24 year old. Can you just imagine if like the genders where reversed and it was a 25 year old man looking at a video of like tzuyu or mina from twice when they where 18 bring like “do you see what they’re doing with their short skirts?? I simp!!” Like- it would be wrong. Any time something like this happens I ask myself “if it would be weird If you switched the genders then it’s wrong. Full stop.”

Thank you for like- reassuring me, because they where honestly pretty nasty in their reply video to me, I get why they where defensive but still. Not sexualizing minors is something I will stand by until I am cold and rotting in my grave.

!!! omg thank u Ceru! u might be one of my favorite mutuals <33 (putting this under a read more just so I can speak at lengths about each individual character)

Why I like Kagami: this is where I sarcastically ask “why DON’T i like him” but that’s literally the next question so; he’s everything i want to be and more. He has the determination and the willpower to make his own dreams come true, he’s gay as shit, he’s tall and buff and well-adjusted, mature enough to live on his own at an annoyingly young age, he’s funny and dumb and a total himbo as well as an excellent advisor bc of how grounded he is.

Why I don’t: I’m... not really good with explosive people. Violent men with loud voices especially scare me, and I’d think I’d flinch around him a lot and that would make me rlly anxious.

Favorite episode: it’s a toss-up between the Seirin fam visiting his place for the first time (is it where Kuroko confesses his love to him and then passes out in his arms? idk), and the onsen episode. I also loved all his plays against Kise and Aomine. AND the training camp w him running a lot in the sand.

Favorite season/movie: season 2 probably because he’s not a jerk anymore, but he’s still on his way to shed off any asshole behavior stuck to him. And I actually liked Last Game?

Favorite line: “There’s no such thing as useless effort.” and “This is our drama and we write the plot.” because he’s so ridiculous.

Favorite outfit: all of his casual fits... comfy but manly is my Jam

OTP: AoKaga....they’re truly soulmates, star-crossed lovers, canonically brought together by fate.

Brotp/otp no. 2: KagaKuro, I love them

Head Canon: I have several collections because I think too much about this boy, but here’s something I think about his family: he doesn’t know what happened to his mom. He never asked, because it wasn’t relevant, and he didn’t want to inconvenience his dad by questioning him. Occasionally, as a kid he felt like he was missing out on something (seeing other kids with their moms, feeling like they’re being treated with much more gentle care because they have moms), but as he grew older he realized that nurturing behavior shouldn’t have been limited to only a mother, and that he was just straight up neglected without any regards to missing a parent in his life.

Unpopular opinion: I never realized this was an unpopular opinion but I’m glad he went back to America at the end of Last Game. Obviously, it’s sad that he had to separate from the others, but I felt like Japanese basketball has always been just a stepping point to him, and now that he’d beat the best of them, it was time to move on. And it also warms my heart that him getting scouted in the US gave Aomine hope to aim big, too. I felt like both of them would’ve felt trapped in Japan with their skill sets.

A wish: I want him to be happy and gay and to confront Himuro and tell him how hurt he was by how he treated him and probably do the same to his dad too

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: ....whatever I’d say Shinsun has probably written it/will write it, but I don’t want him to forget about the GoM just because he becomes a world-famous athlete.

5 words to best describe them: sweet child with anger issues

My nickname for them: not mine (it’s Sypha’s) but “Kags”, Kagami, Tigerboy, Kagababe, Baby

Why I like Momoi: she is SO nurturing and sweet and she cares so much about her boys!! I’m sorry it always turns into “how they remind me of myself” but actually I get feeling like a background character and being the moral/emotional/physical support of those who are more talented or in any way better than you. I feel a strange kind of kinship with her and also,,, feminine girls make my heart stop, and it doesn’t get more feminine than Momoi. Added: Aomine aside, the Touou team wouldn’t worth shit without her skills tbh, and she’s not in any way less than the GoM. Also, I appreciate her being the one person to try to keep their friend group together.

Why I don’t: Analytical People Scare me like!! how do u know stuff people are Unknowable!! I usually am also irked by her pointing out Riko’s breast size but I can just pretend that’s in a gay way (maybe Momoi likes girls with small boobs and she’s just bad at flirting) (also I don’t exactly liked her calling Aomine a “ganguro” but I have too little knowledge on the use of this word to say exactly why)

Favorite episode (scene if movie): uh the one where Aomine made her cry? It really came through how much love she actually has for her friends at that one.

Favorite season/movie: she was great in all of them!!

Favorite line: I can’t remember the exact quote and Google isn’t really helpful either but the one where she made Kuroko promise they’ll always play together or something? Or that they’re gonna beat Aomine?? idk?

Favorite outfit: I like all of them but mostly I just appreciate her wearing so many hoodies, she looks so cute in them

OTP / Brotp: it’s both AoMomo. I feel like the have the most special and strongest bond in the entire series.

Head Canon: She’s never been shown to do, but I feel like she wears Aomine’s clothes a Lot. Also, they definitely have sleepovers To This Day.

Unpopular opinion: Momoi is good at basketball and she loves playing!!! But try being successful in it when ur opponents are Giants and Way More Buff than you are

A wish: I wish people appreciated her more!! Both in fandom and in canon. She’s an amazing person and she has her own skills and strengths that are rarely explored or even mentioned anywhere.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: her falling out with her boys ;-; I do not want that

5 words to best describe them: strawberry sweetheart to steal ur heart

My nickname for them: Satsuki :> I feel like it’s a little too much to call characters on their first names sometimes but hers is so cute I can’t

Why I like Alex: yet again another woman with an extensive skill set. I love her persistence and again I appreciate getting disillusioned and finding your way back to the thing you love. Also it’s just sweet that she did that by teaching (again, something I can relate to)

Why I don’t: the whole “kissing children” thing rubbed me the wrong way but again, just like Momoi’s obsession with comparing breast sizes, it’s just bad/sexist writing from Fujimaki probably

Favorite episode (scene if movie): adshg any and all where she expressed that Himuro and Kagami are equally important to her <33 that shit makes my heart burst

Favorite season/movie: she only appears towards the end of s2 and in s3 so... I guess s3?

Favorite line: its so Bad that u literally can’t find the iconic quotes of these iconic ladies anywhere but... her story on finding her passion again through teaching kids, and anytime she mentions her fondness of Kagami and Himuro.

Favorite outfit: her iconic olive green coat with the short red shorts... wtf was that I loved it.

OTP: she doesn’t really interact with people her age but I’ve heard she’s shipped with Masako Araki and I’ve seen some seriously good fanarts and like... Yes Good I’d Love To See It

Brotp: I feel like her and Himuro would be that sassy pair that Kagami tries and fails to contain and they get into all sorts of weird, absurd situations asdjs what I’m trying to say is Kagami has to bail them out of jail from time to time

Head Canon: fck me if I’m wrong but she’s the lesbian single mom of the two gay kids she reluctantly adopted from the streets

Unpopular opinion: it’s more like another headcanon, but she can dunk and she taught Kagami how to do it.

A wish: I’d love her to coach the Seirin fam more!! Pls let her be part of her children’s lives (she could also judge streetball games between the goms it would be fun)

Why I like Himuro: em dash Asdgsdj I’m joking, I’m becoming more and more fond of the boy. Once I realized that he shouldn’t have been the “bigger person” in that situation and one year doesn’t really mean much when you’re that young and that hurt, I realized he’s actually a good and hard-working kid and I’m sorry for giving him so much shade. Also I really like his snark and sass, but that might not even be canon at this point tbh

Why I don’t: I’m still sort of irked by him beating down on Kagami because he was envious/mad, but I realized the aspect of that situation that Really got to me was how devoted Kagami still was to him after all that. That devotion was what felt toxic, nothing that Himuro actually did to him.

Favorite episode (scene if movie): the time they met up w Kagami just to exchange a dramatic socially distancing bro fist and a few encouraging words.... gays be Like That

Favorite season/movie: I really didn’t mind s3 Himuro

Favorite line: apparently he’s said some iconic stuff that I don’t remember (and my sources don’t seem really legit) but I’m gonna say “let’s see you become number 1, bro” because again, that’s just so ridiculous and endearing. On one hand he really went from loathing Kagami to rooting for him and wanting him to reach his full potential and on the other, honey ur like 17 stop speaking like That

Favorite outfit: his knitted V-neck sweaters and the black coat with the white fur.... boy’s got all the fashion sense that’s missing from Kagami

OTP: can I say.....AoHimu asdfh I ship 3/4 of these characters with Aomine what does that say about me

Brotp: KagaHimu. They can be sweet, but I’ve only ever seen Jake write them really well

Head Canon: I’ve been entertaining the idea of....trans Himuro.....

Unpopular opinion: everyone thinks that Kagami is the violent kid and Himuro is the chill, sweet child who’s somehow wound up with this mess of a fiery tiger, but it’s actually Himuro who taught Kagami how to fight and Kagami learned quite a lot of aggression from him

A wish: I feel like Himuro should’ve gotten a separate episode to explore his thoughts, feelings and past. He had so much potential as a character Is2g

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: him quitting basketball would fucking destroy me. I’d be devastated for others too, but it would really pull on my heartstrings if he just dropped the only thing he’s been so passionate about.

im a 06’ liner ,5’2 and chinese and age doesn’t really matter to me at all, im very extroverted and my friends refer to me as the mom of the friend group, when we r out to eat i’d do the ordering, if anyone of them needs anything i’ll have it, sewing kit,nail kit,allergy cream(i have zero allergies btw) anything i have it! im also a super girly girl, i love being spoiled and pampered.i would also say that im a very creative person? ive been super into fashion since young and always tend to be late because im busy picking an outfit and i love making things!!! decorating toploader, making jewellery,phonecases everything i love it!!! but im actually a really insecure person, as i started maturing earlier than normal ( had my first period when i was 9 ) i have acne and scars and a lot of strech marks, i also am super insecure about my weight, so i tend to not eat at all like i forget to eat or like not eat so i’ll lose weight faster so what i find in someone is really how i hope that they can make me feel same and happy about myself, and take care of me too and just be there for me overall

falling in love with a dreamie's older sibling - taeyong!au

:: first post on this new blog!! i'm a lil rusty so pls bear with me, it's been a few ｡.:*･゜ﾟ･*

(I also got super carried away but I have more ideas for this au if anyone wants a part 2!)

ok so taeyong was a lil (a lot) scared when they told him he'd be the leader of this new group with infinte members

but he took it in his stride bc hey four's not so bad, they're all around his age and mark's very mature and hardworking

six he can deal with, plus, hey! a friend for mark, even if donghyuk can be a brat

and then the dreamies debuted

he was like "yes i know i said mark was mature and hardworking but you're putting him in charge of six babies. he's still a (my) baby!!"

so ofc, even though he wasn't their official leader, he took them under his wing and looked after these children bc that's just who taeyong is

and yeah maybe they're rowdy and hyperactive but they're good kids and they understand what being an idol expects of them

he wouldn't change them for the world and he loves his crazy (not so) little family

the other older members help out a lot too so he never feels too pressured

he can do this!!

then you came along

your parents had asked you to keep an eye on your younger brother when you moved into seoul for school

you attended their debut showcase with your parents but you only had time for a quick hug and an "i'm proud of u!!" before you had to rush back for work so you didn't really see any of the other members

hey you gotta support yourself in the big city somehow

you ofc streamed all of ncts stuff and supported them in any way you could, which wasn't a lot being a student in the city with your own lil apartment

though you always tried to text your brother often to make sure he was eating and taking care of himself/he was being taken care of

and you managed to sneak in a few visits to the dreamies' practices or between schedules

but you'd never actually been to the dorms

you got to know the other dreamies too as they hung out while you facetimed him or appeared in the vlives you could catch

but! finally, there was a day where miraculously you were both free

so you planned to go for ice cream and ofc some of the other dreamies heard of your plan and begged until your ice cream catch up with your lil bro turned into an ice cream catch up with ur lil bro and two of the other dreamies

so the day finally arrived and you were stood outside the dorms after being waved through by security, not exactly knowing what to expect

there were like 18 teenage-early twenties boys living in those three conjoined apartments with almost no adult supervision

so while you were sorta expecting dirty laundry everywhere, stained walls and sweaty smells, surely someone had to be keeping them in check??

the door swings open to reveal your excited little brother and a relatively clean living room

a couple of guys you recognise from various performances/ads/general idolness are lounging on the sofa

you can hear music coming from somewhere further in the apartment

and something that smells absolutely divine is coming from the kitchen

"(Y/N)!!" your brother pounces on you and drags you inside, introducing you to all the members in the room and shouting for his fellow dreamies to hurry up getting ready

they're all lovely and you're glad they all seem as nice as your brother described them, glad that he's got friends and support here when you can't give it to him

the three boys all put their shoes on by the door and you're exchanging polite goodbyes with the other boys when a head pops round the doorway on the other side of the room

and oH

you definitely recognise this one

lee taeyong, general leader of nct and the guy you'd sorta maybe taken a small (huge) liking to from the moment you clicked play on the 7th sense MV

he's even cuter in person

"you guys off?"

"yeah taeyong-hyung! (Y/N)'s taking us out for ice cream!"

"Hey, I'm your elder, brat! How come you use honorifics with him and not me huh?"

and ofc you're joking but the look on all the guys' faces as you reprimanded and simultaneously embarrassed your little brother was golden

then you started laughing as you were practically dragged out of the apartment

but not without a lingering look from one lee taeyong

you start hanging around the dorms more often after that

you're on break from studies and now you've broken the ice with the rest of your brother's group members, it's quite a nice escape from the world

if you count them whining about teasing and pranks a nice escape anyway

and it has nothing to do with taeyong no sir

speaking of ty track

you were not what he was expecting

when the dreamies would go on about you they described you as such a nag

always making sure they were eating/sleeping/resting/working hard

"honestly more of a mom than you, hyung!"

and what was wrong with that?

you were concerned about your lil bro all alone in the idol world, in his eyes it just made you a good older sibling

but he wasn't expecting you to be so... carefree yet caring along with it

like how you tricked them all the day you met about scolding your brother

or how you'd help the dreamies (and johnny and taeil) prank each other then act like you had no clue what was going on once caught

or how you'd try dancing to nct's choreo when you visited the practise room and fail adorably yet pridefully every time

or how you'd help the kids with their homework when the other members were busy, even though he could see the pile of your own in your bag when you opened it to get your pencil case out

or how you offered to help him cook/clean despite not living there

or how you'd sneak in with the spare key they'd given you when you knew they were out all day and would come home exhausted, only to find the laundry done and folded, dinner portioned in the fridge and you snoring sweetly on the sofa at 3am

or how you'd basically become a part of that crazy (still not so) little family

or how he'd pretty much seemed to have fallen in love with you without even realising it

it hit him suddenly though

one night, you'd texted him to say you wouldn't be able to make it to dinner at the dorm tonight because you'd been called into work

and he was disappointed, sure, but work was work and he admired your ability to support yourself in the city

he looked around at everyone at dinner and realised how much he missed your laugh, and your witty comments, and your habit of scolding your brother for talking with his mouth open

and wow... how did this person become so important to him so quickly??

so dinner had been cleaned up and everyone was chilling/in bed when he gets a text

"hey tae i know its really late and i know you told me not to but i missed the last bus so i started walking home from work and i think someone's following me. i know it's probably nothing but we should've listened to yuta when he said not to watch that horror move last night and i'm scared"

and this feeling just swells up inside him

this need, to protect you, to find you and never let you out of his sight again

and before he knows it he's shoving on a hoodie and sneakers and shutting the apartment door softly behind him, texting simply a "where are you?" in reply

never mind it's like one in the morning, and he's kinda angry because he told you he didn't like you walking home alone late at night, but that's just fuelling him more

you tell him you're a few streets away from your apartment and the boy just does a complete 180 and starts running in the other direction

he comes to a stop at the beginning of her street, panting a little

and then he sees you

tired? i don't know her??

you're standing under a street lamp and you're shivering and before he knows what he's doing he's tugging you into his chest and holding on for dear life

you scream but then you recognise the cologne and the set of arms wrapped around you and you relax, hugging him back and burying your face in his chest

and all that built up tension and terror from being alone in the cold and dark leaves you

bc taeyong's here, he came to your rescue

"i'm sorry" you keep mumbling, and eventually he pulls back to look you in the eye

"stop it. yeah i'm a little mad you put yourself in danger, but right now i don't care. i'm just glad you're okay"

and you nod, looking down at your feet

and then you start giggling

and he's like wtf

now he's genuinely concerned something's wrong with you

"your shoes don't match"

and he looks down at his feet to see that, in his haste to get to you, he'd put on very mismatching sneakers

and yeah, that is kinda funny

so you're both standing under this street lamp at half one in the morning, after he'd run from the dorms to make sure you were safe, laughing over the fact that he had on one bright orange sneaker and one black and green

and you both look up at each other at the same time

and he stares into your eyes (which happens quite often now he thinks of it... you two always seem to be subconsciously seeking each other out)

and he just knows it: he's in love with you

yes!!!! before she had it, i didnt think platinum blonde would suit yuri because i thought her skin tone was on the darker side… but apparently she’s actually a lot more light-skinned than i thought? idk u can never tell what’s stage lights and what’s whitewashing and what’s real lmaoooo… (stage lights make peoples faces look like white eggs… hence why stage makeup is so heavy… anyway… i digress…)

sorry this took so long but… below cut!

i think the very first observation i ever make about eunbi is that she got hella muscles LOL. and u might think like what does that have to do with anything… but like being stronger physically helps u a lot as a dancer and eunbi uses that. like her legs… super good for staying grounded and tbh i have not seen her lose balance ever (except for in vampire dance practice video. and that is because she was wearing yeezys lol. never dance in yeezys, u will destroy ur ankles and end up like yohan. im not kidding lol… he was also wearing yeezys. they give no support theyre just for fashion lol… poor kid…)

if u see her in dance practices it looks like her moves are really soft, but that’s most likely because she’s putting tension into them. when moves look smooth but not super light, it’s because the dancer is flexing their moves all the way through - it seems like eunbi flexes all the way to her fingertips.

i also think that her age gives her an advantage when performing more mature songs like ayayaya and highlight. for sure chaeyeon is an amazing dancer and probably had more dance training than eunbi, but eunbi makes up a good part of that gap with her experience with stage and just with life in general. she’s often able to convey the feel of a song really well with good precision, rather than e.g. chaeyeon who sort of puts the same straight face on. (imo chaeyeon could actually be stronger on stage than she is now when she learns how to convey a greater range of emotions, but this will come with age. kind of like how a 12y/o piano prodigy may have great technique but probably won’t interpret a piece as well as a 30y/o performer).

on top of the maturity, i feel like eunbi provides izone with a sense of stability on stage. i dont really know how to explain this. maybe it’s my experience with the stage or something, but you can ‘feel’ when there’s someone in the centre that the other performers trust and kind of settles the performance. like for their debut stage, it felt a little hectic and they were rushing, but when eunbi’s part came, everyone seemed to settle into a rhythm and feel more comfortable. she pulls them together so well that u can literally see it on stage i honestly love her lol

tbh i dont know how good of a dancer eunbi would be if she were a member and not a leader. there are things i think she could do better—e.g. could have stronger musicality, could be cleaner sometimes, could use her torso more, could move her head more—but im not sure if these are things that she’s unaware of or that she doesnt have time to practice. we see a lot of footage of eunbi monitoring izone practices and fixing others. when you are a leader and you have 11 other people to be responsible for, leaders tend to put their own practice and performance last.

it takes a lot of effort and mental energy to clean a group like izone, where you have people who are absolute beginners in dance to people who are super well trained in it. it’s also really hard to clean a group when you’re dancing at the same time, so i wouldn’t be surprised if eunbi got the least practice out of all of them. when i led a team in the past, i had to focus on everyone elses parts for weeks until two days before a performance when i could finally focus on myself and actually put myself in the formation. sometimes even a day before. during pd48, i thought her performances were a bit stronger than they are now—i think eunbi had more time to focus on her performance and her own success compared to now. but main takeaway from this is that you can tell how much eunbi gives and sacrifices for her team and i admire that a lot. she’s a really good leader!

ahh! i’m so glad ur interested in checking out our boys!! idk if you’re used to large groups like svt, but if you aren’t, then learning to attach names to faces can be pretty tough. luckily, svt is split up into 3 different “units” so it’s a bit easier. i hope it’s okay i use @shua’s fantastic gifs to introduce the boys:

so this is hip hop unit, aka the rappers of the group, although they aren’t bad at singing either. in order from left to right, top to bottom, we get:

mingyu: ridiculously tall and ridiculously handsome, and if anyone knows me they know i want to fight him in a tim hortons parking lot. in truth, he’s a really sweet dorky guy, and whatever you do don’t give him something or he’ll drop it.

s.coups or seungcheol: leader of hip hop unit and overall leader of svt. has the unique ability to be both a friend and a respected leader. that all flies out the window once anything remotely competitive happens and suddenly he’s out for blood.

wonwoo: the designated Deep Voiced Rapper of the group and a total bookworm. he was pretty calm and quiet when they first debuted but has rapidly become more and more insane as time goes on.

vernon or hansol: he’s mixed (korean father, white mother) and has a plethora of embarrassing videos of him as a kid you can find on the internet. ridiculously chill but can be extra as fuck when he wants to be.

and here is vocal unit, the singers! from left to right, we have:

jeonghan: a cheater, a swindler, a mastermind, and also the most genuinely caring, nurturing person you’ll ever meet. he used to have super long hair, and when he cut it short again the entire fandom basically lost its shit.

woozi or jihoon: THE LOVE OF MY LIFE not only is he the leader of the vocal unit, but he’s also talented and intense and composes all their music. if an introverted, awkward, acerbic cat was a person, that cat would be lee jihoon.

joshua or jisoo: originally from LA, he used to be the sweet gentleman guy before he revealed himself to be wild and dorky as all hell. if he went to college, i’m pretty sure he’d be the guy playing the guitar at parties. you know who i’m talking about.

seungkwan: one of the main singers. outgoing, great at comedy and variety, talented as fuck, and ridiculously soft-hearted. loves his mother to hell and back and so far has cried over every award/music show they’ve won.

dk or dokyeom or seokmin: the other main singer and literally a physical embodiment of pure sunshine. his smile has been scientifically proven to banish negativity within a 50ft radius. he’s Soft and Must Be Protected. also those thighs, holy shit, those thighs.

and finally, performance unit! they are the main dancers and will kill you with their moves. from left to right, top to bottom, we have:

dino or chan: the talented maknae of the group. his parents own a dancing studio and he looks up to michael jackson. ridiculously responsible and mature for his age, but the other members prefer to keep treating him like a baby.

jun or junhui: one of the chinese members. he used to be a child actor and is basically Perfection. a really sweet and supportive mom friend, but whatever you do don’t try and argue that he’s not hot shit bc he will 100% try to prove you wrong immediately.

the8 or minghao: the other chinese member and has crazy b-boying skills & can do flips and shit that basically give me a heart attack. he used to be pretty quiet because he wasn’t used to the language yet, but has since become a Roasting Champion.

hoshi or soonyoung: the leader of performance unit and the one who creates most of the group’s choreography. imaginative, energetic, focused, serious when he needs to be, and in general has absolutely no chill. like. at all.

and that’s all the members! what i recommend is to start watching their shows to help you get comfortable with them and get to know their personalities. i recommend watching in order:

17 project: detailing their challenges and tasks up to their debut with adore u, here you get to meet baby!svt and see how hard they’ve worked to gain fans, improve their abilities, and come out as a new group. expect lots of tears.

one fine day: set roughly in between mansae and pretty u era, watch svt get thrown onto an island, learn to fish, beg for food, and nearly starve to death if it wasn’t for mingyu. i’m completely serious. that’s the whole show.

one fine day in japan: set after boom boom era and only just finished! it’s one fine day season 2, except now they’re chilling in akita, japan, where they frolick in the snow, struggle with the language, eat good food, and engage in the most heated, intense rivalry the world has ever seen.

there’s also 17tv, back when they were trainees. it’s hard to really watch it all these days, but you can find english subbed video clips on youtube of baby!baby!svt messing around in practice rooms and (usually) being Gay As Fuck with each other. trust me, this is where half the shipping comes from.

and there’s plenty else i’m sure you can find, but this is how you can really get into them! also make sure to check out their music videos, albums, etc. etc. every fandom has their issues, but the svt fandom is in general a pretty great place with lots of cool ppl!!!

Mini Menstrual Lesson

Your reproductive system is made up of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina, and uterus. Ur ovaries have a lifetime supply of eggs. These eggs r immature and are stored inside tiny fluid filled structures called follicles. Ur pituitary gland (aka ur third eye) produces hormones that direct the function of ur ovaries. Each month, ur pituitary gland (third eye) stows away & then releases FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (lutenizing hormone) into the bloodstream. After the LH & FSH hormones reach the ovaries, several hundred eggs began to mature expanding the size of the follicles. As the eggs mature, the follicles stow away & then release estrogen (the main female sex hormone). once the estrogen in the blood reaches a certain level, the third eye (pituitary gland) sends a surge of LH to the ovaries causing the most mature follicle to open up and release its egg in a process called ovulation. The free egg then travels through the fallopian tube where it awaits fertilization. The remaining immature follicles and eggs dissolve away. If the egg is not fertilized, the egg and the lining of the uterus are shed during the next menstrual cycle.

What is PCOS?

In-Depth Understanding

PCOS is determined by two main factors: an imbalance of the sex hormones and high insulin levels . The pituitary gland releases abnormally high amounts of LH into your bloodstream, disrupting your normal period. As a result, ur follicles do not mature and ovulation does not occur. Some follicles do not dissolve and remain as fluid filled sacs called cysts. In addition, having high levels of insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, combined with high levels of LH can lead to excess production of a male hormone called testosterone in your ovaries. Abnormally high levels of testosterone prevent ovulation which can lead to infertility. And there you have it, The scientific facts about PCOS in a nutshell!

Sure! There's plenty of thing we could've done to prevent our PCOS. However, the key to prevention is knowledge + action. So if u didn’t have the knowledge in the past to actively prevent a dis ease of the body, how could you have stopped it in the 1st place, right? when u become aware of the foods you are intaking, it heeds the question, "is this alkaline to my body or is this acidic to my body?" Remember, bacteria, virus' and fungus thrive in an acidic body. An alkaline body forces all this nasty shit to commit suicide

○ Goddess, You Need Sum Whole Foods!

§ Whole foods are foods sourced straight from the earth that have not been altered or compromised in any way. That does not necessarily mean that your diet needs to be fully plant-based or vegan. However you are an adult now so think back to when you were a child… and the same way you were supplied with a proper amount of meats and veggies/fruits before dessert, is minimum the same way you want to take action if you're serious about taking control of your PCOS. And remember, most likely, the foods we were eating earlier in life is what contributes to minimum 50% of the problem

○ Start Actively Getting rid of the pre-packaged processed foods ) over the next 30-90 days.

§ Our bodies thrive on foods rich in nutrients, especially when managing disorders like PCOS. That means avoiding processed foods like white flour, corn syrup, processed meats, pasta, and other foods that may contain medium to high levels of sugar. At first, this change was hard when I realized some of my go-to snacks were highly processed. It took some time, but once my body adjusted to this new way of eating, I no longer craved the same foods. Go for the stuff that doesn't really bother you to remove out of your life 1st then move to the big dawgs. Remember it took some time to create this condition in our bodies; so we must give our beautiful hard working bodies time to heal.

○ Focus on Iron Rich Alkaline Foods.

§ We tend to associate iron with red meat, but there are also high levels of iron in many vegetables and plant-based foods, including spinach, kale, goji berries, lentils, chickpeas, and more. Start with eating at least one vegetable a day that contains high levels of iron

○ Dump the dairy and get free of gluten.

§ Women with PCOS have specific dietary needs. In order to get your hormones and insulin levels back on track, you must eat mindfully. Work to eliminate inflammatory foods such as dairy and gluten. Seriously though, Years later living with PCOS, I started coming into my womanhood (this was no easy task.) I was more renewed and had a better sense and understanding of who i was as a wise spiritual woman through many teachings, obstacles & encounters. I stopped doing the high-intensity, stress-inducing workouts I was so used to (and hated btw) and chose more low-impact but, joyful and passion-driven workouts instead. The best advice I can give a woman in any lifetime is to Do! Only! The! Things! You! Enjoy! That includes the activities that makes you sweat & detox.

Make a plan.

This is one of my most important tips. Plan your meals, exercise and self-care ahead of time. You are bound to make destructive food choices when your hunger drives your food choices as you rush home from work and eat anything you can find. Exercise and self-care will be pushed aside if you don’t assign time for this. Plan and thrive!

De-stress.

We all lead busy and stressful lives. The way we approach the stress can make all the difference. Healthy women have learned coping mechanisms (like meditation, yoga or deep breathing) to take on less stress, as well as to effectively manage and have a positive perspective on the stress they do have. Stress triggers the production of cortisol in our bodies, which wreaks havoc on our hormonal system and PCOS symptoms and gives you belly fat! Who needs that?!

Seek a support Group.

Studies show that you are more likely to stick with a lifestyle change if you have a supportive community. First, educate your loved ones so that they can offer support as you make important changes. Next, find a community of like-minded women that will help cheer you on now and in the future, whether they’re online or in person (or both!). You may even want to buddy up with a walking or grocery shopping partner with whom you can share your journey.

Make time for self-care.

The need for self-care is the fine line between your sanity insanity. Taking care of your mind, body and spirit is not selfish. You are more able to give your friends, family and co-workers your whole self when you have taken the time to refresh. Self-care means eating well and exercising, but just as importantly, it means taking a few minutes to yourself every day to recenter and relax. You may choose to meditate, take an Epsom salt bath or write in a journal. Whatever you choose, give yourself over to the experience wholly and see the difference it makes in your life.

Be kind to yourself.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. The diet and lifestyle changes will improve your quality of life more than you could have imagined, but you have to be kind to yourself while you do it. Take baby steps and eliminate/change one thing at a time. If you make a mistake, remember that you are only one choice away from being back on track. Try to spend a little time each day doing something just for you. You must be your own top priority.

Distract The Mind

Sometimes doing all of the above, threw me so much deeper into my own mind, it was simply too much. I was overanalysing and self-diagnosising every statement, action and step I took. In these moments, I just had to do things that normalised my nervous system again and distracted my mind from over thinking! Whether that was reading a book, getting to a class, going to the movies, enjoying a walk, listening to podcasts or cooking...once I focused my mind on something other than myself, I was able to regulate my nervous system and bring back down the levels of anxiety or emotional overwhelm I was experiencing.

A few nights ago I accidentally brushed the side of my neighbor's car with my front bumper (cause she was parked like an idiot as usual). Hello, I'm a genuine person, who has had a bad past with motoring, 3 - 4 years ago i was a maniac, a complete ideot who defied everything that was said and told to him( been caught for no insurance and disqual driving and driving without a license x15 times but after relizing what a ideot i was i decided to go the straight and narrow, so i got my license back last august with 6 points on it, they aint due to clear till next year although they are dated 2009?! any way, i own a decent 09 bike, that isnt cheap and i was what i thought fully insured (otherwise i wouldnt have driven and risked loosing my bike) anyways i got pulled over last night for speeding, and it came apparant i wasnt insured :O i rang my girlfriend and got her to produce the paperwork, they couldnt get hold of my insurance company due to they were shut at 10pm at night :S so they decided to seize my bike!:@ they give me a gypsys warning about the speeding, and refered me to court for no insurance no L plates, my arguement is, after going home and checking my bank, i have been driving for 3 months uninsured ( i really had no intention of doing so) i had thought that when my giro money lands into my bank acc swintons took it out the same day so i never defaulted, but this is not the case and i have defaulted. so i have insured my bike immediately after relizing what has happened and im going to get it out the impound in a minute (15 hours later after being seized) but the genuine thing is i've always had a rear L plate till 4 days ago when it snapped and i was waiting on my giro to come to purchase a new one, however i know that is no excuse but its the truth! what can i say to the judge to not get myself banned! the L plates situation is difficult because there like1 to buy but i have 0 pence! and i run my bike of scrap yard petrol ( filtered runs sweet) and i will take full admission to only ever having one L plate on my bike and explain my situation but what can i say or do so i dont get banned!? im really stuck with this one, it really is annoying as i had no intention to drive without insurance?! thanks guys""
