monday, january 16

hi, i've started school again :) i've been working as a cna, and i enjoy patient care. but i also wanted to use my biology degree. so i'm working towards going for an accelerated nursing program

i'm taking pre-requisites that my bio degree didn’t cover (developmental psych, nutrition, and pathophysiology), and all of the classes are online. it’s been a transition to get back into school while also working. but it’s a new year and i'm trying to be optimistic haha

hi, 👋 i'm studying psychology 🧠 part-time while working as a software engineer 👩‍💻 full-time.

also slowly learning Korean, Japanese, Chinese 🦉 (and to a lesser extent these days, Spanish, French, German).

also trying to Read a Book™️ 📚.

but i like sleep too much 💤😴🛌, i need at least 10 hours of it to be a good human. somehow always have time for my emotional support K-pop boys tho 🤔

spending the morning indulging in a bit of shopping by going to one of my favorite stationary shops + a large bookstore near me. i'm looking into getting a planner to accompany my commonplace/journal but i haven't yet decided on the type i want to go for.

goals for today: - drink 2ls of water (✓) - finish tidying up (✓) - continue annotating 'Faust' (- go for a run) depending on the weather tonight (...too rainy.)

Relaxing, productive weekend in the books.

anthropology reading and lecture

studied for a quiz I’ll probably take tomorrow

wiped my computer and updated my OS

did two loads of laundry

paid all of my bills

ran errands and finished some chores I’d been putting off

went to dinner with my boyfriend and his family

pestered my cat every second

FINALLY setting up my workspace tomorrow! Getting myself some new stationary/school supplies as a reward once I’m done ✨

Hello, everyone! My name is Galaxii, but you can also refer to me as Genieve. I am now an art student studying illustration. I was previously homeschooled by my mother for the past ten years. Drawing has been my passion since I was a child. I wish to pursue my longlife dream as a comic artist after I graduated.

3:36 : i think my laptop hates me??? so annoyed rn. it keeps deleting my posts and im starting to get mad. i wrote a whole post earlier but nooo of course it didnt save. whatever. basically i had an awesome time in *REDACTED* and it was so super fun. AUGH. i didnt have school yesterday and the day before so that was awesome. i got to work on my music all day and just relax and honestly im so glad i got it bc being around all those kids man it DRAINEDDDD me (it was still awesome tho). anyway at school today and OH MY GOD MY GRADES ARE SO BAD!!!!! im gonna be working my absolute butt off. i know what i have to do so HOPEFULLY i can get it done. also my teeth hurt but thats probably bc i keep FRIGGIN forgetting to brush my teeth. so glad that school is almost over. i have rehearsal today and i gotta practice a SHIRT ton today bc i have my lesson tmr and i havent practiced for a whole WEEK AAAAAAAAH! i missed my bf so much man u have no clue. uh but yeah. idk what else to say so i might update later before 8. if not sorry lol. imma be studying my music and working on it and practicing and doing my work all night. i got this :).

Hello! I've been here for a while and I've met some awesome people, been inspired a bunch, and honestly had such a good time that...

I forgot that I haven't even introduced myself!

So here I am, to say hello and nice to meet you~

✧ What's this blog?

This is my studyblr, study blog, uniblr and occasionally lifeblr. Hopeless-Studious. I chose this name because 1) I am a hopeless romantic. 2) I'd say I'm quite studious. 3) I romanticize studying. So like, the name makes sense! right?

✧ Who are you?

My name is N**. I'm 21 (at the time of writing this) and I will soon be starting the fourth and final year of my undergraduate degree in architecture. I've been a huge fan of studying communities since forever. I actually spend most of my time on one in discord but studyblrs are my favorite things to look at.

✧ Why did you make this blog?

I really really want (and need) something to motivate me like this. Also this community it GREAT! It's pretty, and warm and welcoming and honestly once I finally made my blog and posted in it, I DID NOT REGRET IT.

✧ What are your hobbies?

I'm an enjoyer of many creative outlets but I almost never get enough time. When I can, I draw and sketch, write and read, and a bunch of other stuff like knitting and singing and things like that >:D But realistically most of my time ends up spent on Discord and Tumblr or are often spent playing games and watching shows.

✧ Footnote: I honestly didn't know what to put here for the longest time and had this in my drafts since forever. Also I'm too shy to actually tag others here T-T but I admire a lot of people here be it for their aesthetics or how hardworking they are.
