My first ever boar sculpt commission for an Escape room game company in my county called  Kanyu Escape - a hunting trophy prop that will also be one of the puzzle mechanisms. Nope I won't tell you how to solve the puzzle this boar head will be in their upcoming game, but I will maybe show photos of it when mounted in the finished room. This is the first time being commissioned to make a faux taxidermy ornament, and won't be my last hopefully as I really enjoyed making this one and have a new plan to start offering fake hunting trophies and maybe even attempt a fake animal-skin rug. Also this means I can now offer boar masks once I reopen for mask commissions again. ^_^

A commission for Shralen of a new character addition to the DA roleplay group DRAGONS-ROYALE, using the dragon she adopted from ulv-f. This one took WAY longer than usual due to the intricate patterns...I do not have a graphics tablet so doing this all by mouse was pretty damn hard. ^^; That and I also had to make preparations to sell some of my canvas art and printed copies of my book at a convention in Manchester so I had to put all projects on a brief hiatus for that. Behold! My newest costume character; the Wakefield Wendigo! (also plays Krampus at Christmas time lol)

See? Told you I was working on new monsters, hence why I've put werewolves on hold for a bit. This one was very fun to make and actually the quickest, completed in just under a month including the sculpting and rubber mold making. This one features the following: *Moving jaw, *Entire skull glows in the dark, *adjustable headband and chin strap enabling the mask to fit almost all size heads, *excellent vision through eyes and nose, *long hair accents at the back of the skull and down the spine of the neck, *New Velvet/suede feel ears thanks to new flocking machine I have! *New extending silicone tongue! *New Interchangeable horns for easier packing & transport, and for when you fancy having goat horns one day then fancy having antlers another day!

I shall be releasing a special commission-pricing poster soon as well as making an important announcement on my DA journal later! So stay tuned!!!

My new 'Were-Hyena' silicone masks are now available! Base price for these new bad boys is £550 and I'll be opening some slots for these commissions this weekend, but like the Werewolf masks I won't start making them until after spring. However unlike the werewolves these masks only take 2 weeks to cast and paint (but may take longer if you want them hair-punched and or furred). Another new mask I want to get started on ASAP now that werewolf masks are closed for a long while! Apart from Werewolves the Wendigo is my second favorite monster, dunno why but deer skulls REALLY freak me out...but their antlers are awesome. I also like the idea of a monster practically erupting from the human body, and since Wendigo's are technically demon spirits that possess cannibals rather than physical monsters the symbolism of 'a monster growing inside me' fits very well. So in my interpretation of a wendigo, a demonic dead deer's face bursting out of some dude's face would be terrifying even for me... This mask will also be designed as a 'wear alone' mask, so that a bodysuit or anything else aren't necessarily needed, just some monster nails or scary gloves should just nicely! Yet another new style of drawing I tried out; completely colored without any black outlining whatsoever. And I like it. It works well for more serious works like horror stuff.

FINALLY FINISHED LAST MASK COMMISSION OF 2017! This one took a LOT longer to make due to the extra features added, new molds and materials used, sick with flu for a week, personal family drama which is still ongoing and I'd rather not get into it (seriously Dr. Phil and Jeremy Kyle would f**king hate my family) and of course the holiday seasons (halloween and christmas)...

Anyway this mask is special because it has some new traits requested by the commissioner that my previous works didn't have:

*Gold teeth

*Mowhawk (which was a case of three trial-&-errors before getting it just right)

*a goatie beard

*three holes in the left ear

*a scar over the right eye

*and a Mayan pattern symbol inside the right eye

Also new in this mask that will be used for future masks are:

*new jawset mold sculpted by a friend

*new type of resin that's more affordable and sold in a local store just a 15 minute bus ride away from me

*and new silicone tongues I'll be making myself.

IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE DO NOT SKIP READING THIS: I am now closed for anymore werewolf mask commissions until end of spring due to other projects in need of finishing including three new monster masks and a new silicone monster glove design. HOWEVER I will still accept commission reservations for when I reopen for werewolf mask commissions...but I won't be starting anybody's mask commissions until after Spring now. I know many of you love werewolf costumes and hate the long waits for them but please understand that this is beneficial for both me and commissioners; for it will mean new mask and glove designs will be available to you and not just werewolves anymore e.g. big cats (mold is already done by the way so if people want big cat masks please ask and I shall take a reservation for one), skull face masks, reptile masks and the long awaited were-hyena masks etc. It will also mean I can expand my portfolio, which will increase my chances of finding a job in the field I'm skilled in thus have a much better financial income to fund all my work. So everybody wins as long as I take this break from werewolves for a bit.

Okay, watched new Beauty & the Beast, got inspired to do a new silicone mask design that's BATB influenced.

Decided to try a new method this time though for creating concept designing; photo manipulation! lol I think I'll be using this method for mask ideas from now on, I can get the measurements much better like this.

And damn I look GOOD as a beast...okay, now I'm definitely gonna get started on this mask once all commissions (and the bloody hyena mask) are done. XD

Mask I started in Dublin is nearly finished, I FINALLY got fangs to stick inside the bloody mouth! granted I had to make them again from scratch and out of silicone this time, which is a shame because the paint job on the original resin ones were so much better...but sacrifices have to be made for perfection, I'll just have to save the resin jawset for some other project.

The zip's installed and just needs some reinforcing to prevent tearing like my werewolf bodysuit's zip did (I have yet to fix that though), and then all that's left is finally testing out my flocking gun by adding the fine fur to the back and ears. Definitely more difficult than my first werewolf mask to make, just hoping it passes the wearing test once finished. :)
