So there are people out there who have a consistent mood for most of the day? My mood changes every other 5 minutes at any slight inconvenience.

If you don’t want to read my long as post. Bc I can’t not over-explain everything when trying to get a point across. Lol I just saw this and I was like... damn I really wrote a essay that could of been told in a sentence smh
Hey just a reminder to all the people pleasers out there. It doesn’t make you a “mean” person if you call out peoples shit. I used to let people say and do whatever they wanted and never say a word. Even if it hurt me so bad I’d just let it slide because I didn’t want to be “mean” . Then I’d let it slide , and again, and again and so on. You’ll find with some people they need to be put into their place to be made aware of their shit. Unfortunately there are people who will walk all over because they know they won’t get a reaction. I dare you next time shut them down call them out stand firm, stand confident, speak the truth. And it’s so funny because you’ll come to find those types of people picking on you are the most insecure. That’s why they prey off of kind people like you. They think you won’t call them out. AGAIN I DARE YOU call them out and watch the big tough guy front they put up crash to the ground. You aren’t “mean” for speaking the truth and standing up for yourself and others. I speak from experience. Stay kind and amazing but set your boundaries don’t let people have your kindness when they can’t and don’t respect it. Those types of people are toxic and thrive off of kind and un-confrontational people to make themselves feel and appear less insecure. Call them out then toss them out.

No worries I can see how it could be misinterpreted that way 🥰just wanted to make sure everyone knew that’s not at all what I meant ❤️
Don’t say you have OCD because you like your room clean and you colored pencils in a straight line. Don’t say you have ADHD becuase have trouble focusing and fidget sometimes. Don’t say you are bipolar because your mood is inconsistent at times. Don’t say you have any mental disorder unless you actually suffer the effects from it every single day. You have no idea what obstacles and challenges these people face everyday. Don’t downplay their disorders to superficial tendencies everyone experiences every so often. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. Goodbye :)

I know what you are saying, I wasn’t trying to come across as if your not diagnosed you don’t have it. Especially as someone who has been left undiagnosed with ADHD for most of their life. Experiencing ADHD symptoms but never being seen or aware I had it myself. I don’t at all want to be spreading that message. The message I was trying to spread was more like stop using names of “mental disorders” as a way of communicating to others like you can’t focus- “omg I’m so ADD today” or if you are being a perfectionist on a certain day and saying “omg I’m sorry I’m so OCD” . Obviously people with ADHD have trouble focusing and people with OCD can be perfectionists and need their colored pencils in line. But just because you can’t focus or you are a perfectionist occasionally doesn’t mean you actually have the disorder. The difference is if it’s a disorder it’s not something you just experience every so often it’s persistent and interferes with your everyday life and daily functioning. Like my ADHD is always there it’s not just me every so often experiencing inattention. That’s the problem people will replace a disorders name and use it as a way to describe how they are feeling on a certain day. Essentially don’t use the name of a “disorder” as a way to describe something like not being able to focus, or needing to be tidy, or being extra moody. Say It’s hard for me to focus today not “omg I’m so ADD” you know I mean. These “disorders names” shouldn’t be used to replace certain tendencies everyone experiences sometimes. adhd, ocd, and bipolar disorders arnt “sometimes” things. I’m aware there are disorders like PTSD and others that are trigger induced. Not every disorder is experienced everyday. I’m not trying to say those arnt real and very serious. They are very much so. Sorry for any misunderstandings 🥰

MUST READ!!!!!!!
ADHD is the most overdignosed and most underdignosed disorder in the world. We have a real problem with the diagnostic process. The DSM-5 is extremely outdated and still only directed towards dignosising qualities that hyperactive 6 year old boys possess.
Boys are vastly overdignosed while girls are vastly underdignosed. Studies show that ADHD is just as common in boys as it is in girls. However, it is not equally recognized and treated. Boys are 4 times as likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than girls. This because boys are usually more hyperactive while girls are more innatentive. This is a problem with the school system itself not being built effective for young boys. 7 year old boys whom are naturally hyperactive and innatentive at that age are given a label of ADHD. Becuase the educational system doesn’t want to admit it naturally sets up young boys for faluire. They are told to sit in a chair for long periods of time, no horse play, no running, 15 minute recess time, and so much more. How does this make sense? any young boy can fail in this type of environment. Let’s stop labeling a failed system with ADHD.
(Disclaimer yes boys have ADHD and it’s very real however many times we see young boys misdiagnosed becuase they are displaying natural behavior created by a failed school system)

NEVER let people take advantage of your compassion, kindness, understanding, and empathy. Stay beautiful and kind but don’t ever let someone take those qualities and use them to walk all over you and destroy you. ❤️ set boundaries for those who don’t have any.
