Took a nap and dreamed that 911onabc posted a still on Instagram of Buck and Tommy dancing at the madney wedding. It was in black and white and Tommy had his suit jacket off but Buck had his (a new one) on, Tommy’s back was to the camera but they were angled enough so that you could see he was smiling down (a little) at Buck because they were both leaning into each other while laughing. I want to cry because it’s not real.

Spoilers for Handplates! Make sure you’re all caught up before continuing!

I ended up scene-picking around the timeline at pretty-much-random, whatever I thought fit the lyrics the best in the moment of blinding inspiration (lol), but now that I’ve got the basics down to paper, I think I’d more carefully choose in mostly-chronological order. That also means some would have to be cut, so I want to show them off here! :D I also drew them all from memory so if there’s inconsistencies, that’s why lol

For example this is one of the very early lyrics, but the events take place well down the timeline! I’m sure I can find a good stand in - mostly I just wanted to draw Papyrus from this scene, ugh I love him ♥ And the lyrics do fit!

Looking back to Sans for reassurance haha. I changed a few of the lyrics to be more Papyrus-specific -

- also featured here! He’s got the Gaster pose going on here hehe, and cutting around in time of him in Snowdin and also back at Asgore’s, him reassuring Asgore about Sans’ HP is so cute, I had to make reference to it haha

I did admittedly go a little over-the-top with these, he was not crying this much but I just jsalfdjfds this scene is so- much. So much! The lyrics goaded me, blame them haha - and also the attention to his neck! Even if it’s not in reference to choking on tears specifically, still drawn to the same place! I love Sans going to comfort him as well as rally him ahhhhh

I got his Soul glitches wrong haha, but seriously! This song, I swear!!

A bit of irony - he’s being heard! So much! Just not listened to. I am so enamoured with his pose callbacks throughout the entire comic ugh, so beautifully done

Handing off the song for a moment to someone who actually can rewind it - I don’t think I’ve ever drawn a Genocide Run human now that I think of it :0 It was so satisfying to draw Gaster kneeling on the ground like that haha, contact points were - on point ✨ for this doodle session hehehe

Originally I had his glow coloured in purple but this was one that I actually went back to look at (because I love this scene so much hhgggg <3 <3 <3) and had to change to his natural colour - he deserves it!! He’s earned it!!

I’ve honestly fallen more in love with this song through him and vice versa haha ♪ It’d be quite a bit before/if I could make a full version, even just with what I’ve got here, but it was so fun to draw at all ♥

The moral of the story is to always trust your gut because a few nights ago I had a dream about the movie venom (2018) where the main character, called generic white man number 45 (my brain couldnt come up with a better name), was cuddling the whole time with the venom symbiote. I thought that surely won't happen in canon, but it did get me interested in it (that and also the fact that 2/3 of the fics on ao3 are of symbrock).

Well guess the fuck what.

Watched it today.

It would've happened in canon. My brain cannot comprehend how canon they made them. "I am venom and you are mine" and the fact that Eddie made venom stay and venom initiating the kiss- do i need to keep going? I sense another hyperfixation coming

Some art from my TrWh au, showcasing the friendly rivalry between Koryak and Jason (plus a bonus Tula!). Felt like posting more stuff today, despite posting something yesterday.

Just wanted to show the many ways Koryak and Jason might interact with eachother. Koryak is the fourth member to be added to the outlaw team, joining out of both loneliness and a want for some allies for his goal to become King of Atlantis. Koryak will often push to lead missions, more than other teammates but he sees it as a way to expand his leadership skills. But he's willing to take a backseat, so long as he's second or third command. I should probably do a post on how leadership is handled in my au outlaw team. Suffice to say, its loose and messy.

Koryak can find Jason very annoying no doubt, what with his needling and secretive ways, but enjoys the thrill of a good fight with and beside him. Despite him finding Jason kinda suspicious in some ways, he sometimes with confide in him as well. Gunning for the throne will require allies of course, and Koryak will probably want the kinda skills Jason will have. Plus Jason understands that to reach the top of the food chain might require some less than virtuous methods...

Look how handsome Koryak looks in the third pic, love drawing his hair!

Also the first pic was actually my second try, did not like the way I drew it or how scrunch up it all felt, just wanted to show it here to compare them both:

Also! Bonus Tula! Looks like she brought Koryak over and stopped for some girl talk with Barbara. Looks like she might help out the Birds of Prey with underwater trouble.

Heres a poorly drawn comic about Hat Kid questioning The Prince's personality compared to Snatchers and how they aren't technically that different from eachother when it comes to "evilness"

(Also featuring a human MJ cameo for no particular reason)

In other words:

Peckneck literally becomes innocent in front of kids and his gf only to turn around and sue someone for looking at him funny

You can be a menace to society and still be oblivious and slightly naive when it comes to toxic relationships

Rose tinted glasses and all that

You can also be a menace to society and still be polite when the situation calls for it

Being nice to kids and stuff isn't that hard

Basically I'm trying to make him a mixture of most Prince portrayals in the fandom and a slight menace to society that carries Snatchers snark and chaotic behavior-
