does anyone realize how crazy it is to have the actor of a mostly headcanoned queer ship say the fans were never crazy and they were right all along after 10+ years of everyone just absolutely going nuts over the said queerbaited ship

one connection that i just sort of put together that i haven't seen many people talk about is the very beginning of the season with the night yorb. like yes that was a fun bit to wrap up loose ends from sophomore year and that quest has been completed, but also what a cool way to introduce the concept of names having power. The whole central idea behind the dead god's name that can't be said or the spy's tongue curse was introduced episode one with the night yorb and the fact that they summoned it by speaking it's name and it got stronger each time the name was said. just a very cool narrative choice that i really like

the thing about emily axford as a player is that she rolls fine but whoo boy does she know how to play. theres a couple posts on here about murphs bad luck rolling vs emily "being able to roll a nat 20 on command," but that's just not true. emily rolls pretty middling, but she's very good at strategy, more often than not meaning that she is able to add buffs to rolls or have them work out even if she doesn't roll Great; we gotta give credit where credit is due, which is to emily's strategy and not to her rolls
