Sypnosis: Mitsuya seeing you modeling as a Victoria Secret Angel. TW!: slightly suggestive, mentions of starvation, groping(if you squint).

You and Mitsuya have always been really close friends, ever since you were his muse in middle school. Parting ways after high school, you soon reconnected at a show you were modeling for. He then offered you a spot as a model for his clothing line and you happily accepted, grateful to be working with an old friend of yours.

Time: 3:54 a.m

“ugh..” Mitsuya groaned in annoyance realizing how late it was. He’s spent the whole day brainstorming a new design to spice up his store. Mitsuya Designs hasn’t been doing great lately and the lilac haired boy wanted to try something different, hoping that his brand would be alive again.

“what’s something that will have everyone talking…” Mitsuya spoke to himself, questioning what would look good on you. The boy found it boring, not understanding why so many people came to see girls in cheap pjs and soon fell asleep on his chair, waiting on your arrival.

“I wonder how Mitsuya is gonna react to seeing me like this.. it’s a good think I invited him” you thought to yourself and giggled softly about how this would affect your friendship with him. You started thinking of Mitsuya romantically ever since middle school, when you were his muse. You never confessed your feelings to him though, chickening out at the thought of him not liking you like that and only seeing you as a sister. Sometimes, you were glad you didn’t ask him out after noticing his type was the total opposite of you. But then again… maybe that’s why none of those girls and him worked out. 😉

The announcer of the show yelled, startling Mitsuya into waking him up. The next “angel” came out in a short lacey nighttime dress. She then bent over slightly to reveal the new line of garters and stockings they were selling. Mitsuya’s face went hot at the thought of you doing the same. The lilac haired boy was a little surprised that the store was designed to sell lingerie, but what made him shocked was the variety of the most famous models in the world! These girls were millionaires and were all in the top 100 hottest girls globally. Now is when he realized how much he underestimated you.

Today's compilation:

Hed Kandi: Disco Kandi 2000 House / Garage House / Nu-Disco

Good God, what a terrific pair of discs here from the ever-consistent dance comp label Hed Kandi. With this first ever installment in their Disco Kandi series, the UK outfit supplies a steady stream of ephemeral house bangers from the late 90s and 2000, with a lot of the selections sounding contemporary, but also managing to channel an invigorating old-school disco spirit too. And many of these glitz-glammy, high-quality productions also collectively continue to progress from the sonic tradition that first started in famed New York DJ Larry Levan's Paradise Garage nightclub in the late 70s, where he nurtured a more vocally soulful and R&B-rooted house sound into the late 80s that would come to be known simply as 'garage.' And after the Paradise Garage's closure, that garage sound would find popularity at a club in New Jersey called Zanzibar too, where Tony Humphries would continue to spin it.

Now, despite a few of these tracks having somewhat remarkably high YouTube play counts, all of them were and still are definitely underground; that is, except for one. And this particular tune that I'm referring to wasn't just mainstream, but it really managed to lace the hell out of a lot of US contemporary hit radio stations back in the late 90s, even though it only ended up peaking at #52 on the Billboard Hot 100, overall. Basically, if you tuned into your local pop or more dance-oriented station on anything close to a regular basis back then, there's almost no way that you could've avoided one-off supertrio Stars on 54's cover of Gordon Lightfoot's 1970 soft folk-rock classic, "If You Could Read My Mind," which saw Amber, Jocelyn Enriquez, and Ultra Naté teaming up to record a song for the soundtrack to the disco period flick, 54. Really classic radio gold right there that a lot of people probably haven't thought about in a long while.

And then just as you're finished reminiscing on whatever fond memories you might hold that are associated with that particular song, quite possibly the most impressive track of all within this two-disc set ends up directly following it: the Matthew Roberts and Richard Fite remix of Eclipse's "Makes Me Love You." This one has a big, sun-shining pool party vibe to it, as it combines lustrous disco strings, funkily plucked guitar, a fuzzy-thick corrugated bassline, and piano keys, all while employing a lovely filter technique, which is that really popular thing that house musicians got to doing around this time period, in which certain elements sound distant and submerged, and as they continuously loop, keep sounding closer and clearer, until they satisfyingly breach the surface and hit their glorious peak. And that's maybe my favorite type of house music in the whole world 😊.

So, a really enjoyable way to spend over two and a half hours here, with a hefty dose of super sleek house tunes, a lot of which are on a nu-disco and garage tip. And it was collected by the always seemingly on point Hed Kandi label too, which has never steered me wrong before!

here are a number of things I'd like to mention in order for you to fully enjoy these glasses.

Fitting and Customizing:

Included is a customization HUD. Using the HUD you can change the textures of various parts of the glasses, some transparencies, and resize them.

To resize the glasses, you may optionally click on the pose button (on the HUD) to go into a static pose. There are buttons for resizing in coarse, medium, and fine increments, along with a revert button to return the glasses to their original size. You may also restrict resizing to any or all of the X, Y, and Z axes using those buttons on the HUD.

The glasses are fully modifiable, but please remember to make a copy before editing, just in case something goes wrong.

You can manually set the brightness, glow, and transparency of any part of the glasses. Make sure you select materials using "Select Face" in your editing panel to make sure you are editing the exact part you need.

[Advanced Editing Topic] The eyeglasses arms can be rotated to fit your head better, if you find they are fitting too wide or narrow. For best results, adjust the Z-rotation numerically, in .5 degree increments, rather than using the mouse. Hello Chockie! Do you have a head cannon that seems outlandish to many, but you 100% believe in and have made an extended essay to prove?

hello anon! i don't know if this is outlandish to many, but as some may be aware, i am one of the champions of the karamatsu assner movement and the brand ambassador of karamatsu's ass. my credentials are that you can google "karamatsu ass" and me and my art are consistently one of the top recurring results. this all stems from my steadfast belief that karamatsu has a delightfully fat ass, and my headcanon is that he (and the staff of osomatsu-san) make a very deliberate effort to cultivate its fatness. allow me to explain.

it's true all of the matsus get naked pretty frequently in the show for laughs, and several of them have shown their ass up front and center in detail, such as ichimatsu (ESP kitty) and todomatsu (hide and seek). however, none of them have consistently had as much ass screentime as karamatsu in all three seasons and the movie, whose ass when it appears as the central focal point of a shot is always drawn with great care and detail.

an addendum point to this is that his outfits almost always serve to emphasize his fine buttocks. the mt. takao outfit from season 3 as seen in fig. 2 demonstrates a common sight in karamatsu's outfits- booty shorts, which frame his ass flatteringly and draws even more attention to it.

this particular instance doubles as an example of both this deliberate ass-highlighting design as well as proof of the detail the staff have painstakingly put into drawing it. for example, you can even see a hint of his bulge nestled between his cheeks and the Y-shaped shading under his tailbone to indicate the distinct cheeks, which were completely unecessary yet is included nonetheless, a testament to their efforts. additionally, please note the soft shine and reflective sparkle which give extra depth, softness, plushness, and roundness to what would otherwise be a cute, but fairly unassuming ass.

fig. 3 is another example of great ass detail that was technically unecessary yet still included by the staff to emphasize how fat karamatsu's ass is, again using a soft airbrush and highlights to indicate soft plumpness. though some may argue that karamatsu's sweatpants are not clothing designed to emphasize the ass, he clearly picked tight-fitting enough ones to showcase a pantyline, showing a deliberate attempt on his part to cultivate his ass fatness.

as a final major example showcasing his fat assness, i would like to do a frame-by-frame breakdown of this scene demonstrated in fig. 4a - 4f from the skit "voice function", from season 3, episode 7 of osomatsu-san (2020). this scene in particular was in fact the source of the great karamatsu ass twitter discourse of 2020 [1], an event which in fact formed the basis of the karamatsu assner movement. i include this example because i believe it represents the crux of this headcanon's existence as "outlandish"- there were many instances of users who refused to believe that karamatsu's ass was just that fat. using the media player mpv, which allows users to scrub frame by frame on a standard 24fps basis, we can look at the exact frames at the center of the great karamatsu ass discourse controversy.

fig. 4b: this is where the point of contention begins. detractors of karamatsu’s fat ass claimed that rather than him getting up ass first, then his back folding up along with it to stand up, that he was in fact facing forwards, and what we see as his ass in fig. 4c through fig. 4f is in fact one of his legs held up and bent. however, in this frame, we can see going off the curves of the silhouette visible that there is no way for this to be him facing forwards as we already know his ass is definitively curvy and round from fig. 4a.

fig. 4c: here we can see the natural progression from the previous frame as he stands up. if this is, as the counterargument suggests, him facing forward with his leg rather than his ass, then it would make no anatomical sense for his heda to be thrust so far back from his shoulders like this.

fig. 4d - 4f: it is in these 3 frames that we see karamatsu’s ass so fat it is jutting out at 90 degrees like a shelf. with this frame by frame analysis we have definitively proved that there is absolutely no way anatomically that karamatsu could have pivoted himself in the span of 4 frames (less than a sixth of a second) to be lifting his leg, rather than sticking his ass out, from the previous frames. QED.

i would lastly like to address two common counterargument to my claim: the depiction of his ass in some scenes that make it seem less fat than it appears. one counter example that may be raised is in season 2, episode 5, summer kamen (2017). now, this counterargument can already be disregarded from the get-go as there is no conclusive confirmation that summer kamen is related to, or indeed is karamatsu, as he is in fact a “mysterious entity” with no attributed name (osmt fandom wiki, n.d). however, even supposing that the hypothetical and unproven notion summer kamen is karamatsu is true, we can still dispel this counterargument. there are several shots in which summer kamen can be seen from a distance with a less than impressive ass that looks flat, as in fig. 5a and 5b.

these can be disproved as simply stances that are unflattering to the size of one’s ass, as in fig. 6a and fig. 6b which are only a few frames after fig. 5b, demonstrates the roundness of his ass relative to the rest of his body, especially the size of his thighs.

the other common counterargument i would like to address is that occasionally karamatsu’s ass can be seen with jagged lines drawn in the cheeks, making the ass look bony and sunken in- the opposite of plump and fat ass.

however, on the contrary, i believe that this is in itself further proof of not only karamatsu’s ass fatness, but his deliberate efforts to cultivate it further. given the copious previous examples of how fat and soft it is much more often than it is shown as “bony”, it would make no sense for this to be his default state of ass. the much more likely explanation is that, as in the cases of fig. 7 and fig. 8, these are instances of karamatsu tightening and flexing his glutes for a dramatic pose, instead of being bony. furthermore, the fact that he can flex them so hard and create such definition that it is visible through his shorts is proof that he surely must do ample ass-exercise such as squats to tone the muscle that much- in other words, he has worked hard to cultivate dat ass, and this is proof.

What is this “alpha glitch” thing?

While SL has many different type of alpha issues, this fix is for when two rigged meshes with alpha textures make each other go invisible. For instance, your see-through dress may break your fishnet stockings, or your hair may make your top go invisible.

You used to be able to fix this by using bump and specular maps to assign priorities, but LL replaced it with a new method.

How do you fix the alpha glitching now?

There are two things that decide the priority: the attachment point, and the root prim transparency.

Let me explain. LL recently added priority to each attachment point, here is a breakdown of what priority each bone has. Please note that the lower the number, the higher the priority:

Example: if you want to wear alpha hair with an alpha top, then you can attach the hair to your skull (priority 2) attachment point while attaching your top to the spine (priority 9). This way your hair won’t make your top go invisible. This has endless uses both for creators and residents, and can easily be switched up by anyone who want to change priority within their outfit. But there’s a catch, there’s also the matter of the blending options on the root prim:

While I have done limited testing on all the aspects around this, I can say for sure that a root prim that has transparency of more than 1% (including 100%), has a higher priority than a root prim with alpha masking or no alpha. This means that if your hair on the skull (priority 2) attachment point doesn’t have a transparent root prim, it will still glitch with your top on the spine (priority 9) attachment point.

I believe this means all rigged mesh with alpha textures would benefit from having a root prim with transparency, as this gives the user freedom to configure their outfit freely.

Important:

While the attachment point priority changes have been confirmed as an intentional change and should stick around going forward, the root prim transparency part is not confirmed. This means that it might not remain true in the future.

Making your root prim 100% transparent instead of just partially transparent will help reduce lag.

This fix is only relevant for rigged/fitted/bento mesh, and will not work with anything unrigged/resize.

For this batch of 100 OCs, I decided to do something a little different and zazz them up with some colored backgrounds. Let me know if you prefer the images with or without. As always, new drawings up top, original drawings down below (with a special double for Arlein since I completely redesigned her from her original iteration), and detailed character info below the cut.

#53: Mina II Idea: Peppy punky lead singer (and eventual keyboardist come 3) Story: Rock Band

Now, if there was any instrument I could play expert, it was vocals, lol. Except on fucking Good Vibrations because HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HEAR WHAT PART I'M SUPPOSED TO BE SINGING ON A LIVE FUCKING RECORDING? IT'S A SIX PART GODDAMN HARMONY. And also Tanlged Up in Blue because BOB DYLAN IS NOT SINGING SPECIFIC NOTES HALF THE TIME WHY ARE THESE CHARTED LIKE THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS.

Anyway, Mina.

Mina's my character for vocals, and come Rock Band 3, I slotted her in for keyboards, as well. She's the upbeat and outgoing punk of the posse, and her character color was green; green hair, green microphone, green-forward outfits. Even though the characters predate the release of the anime, I like to imagine now that D.A.R.K. specifically starts because Mina saw K-ON! and said "Dude, Sydan, we could fuckin' do that. We could do it better. We just need to find, like...a drummer and a bassist." They meet Ren and Paz in their school's band, start their own...and then spend half their time dicking around, not unlike Houkago Tea Time. They do scrabble an EP together, though, and thus their legend begins.

#54 and 55: Ren and Paz II Idea: Polar opposite identical twins who aren't actually that polar opposite Story: Rock Band

Finally, we have Ren and Paz, the twin brother rhythm section of D.A.R.K. - Paz as bassist, Ren as drummer. The only reason they wound up being twins was that there was only one face option I really liked for men in RB1 and I really liked The Emover hairstyle, so I just kind of leaned into it.

Ren's character color was light blue, though unlike the other characters, I didn't include any black in his wardrobe because I wanted him to have a kind of ice king look. I'd initially planned on him being the Metal representative, but most of the metal items leaned more towards GWAR costumes - lots of armor and literal metal. So instead, I also put him in Goth attire. Thus, he became the graceful, mysterious, icy drummer - who was a total dork behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, Paz was the Rock style representative, and while I'd intended on giving him a yellow color scheme, it turned out that the game didn't really have a good bright yellow color. Thus, I went with pink instead, and the combination of pink scheme and flamboyant classic rock attire went quite a way towards forming my image of him as an upbeat, showy performer, all sunshine and rainbows and bouncing about on stage in contrast to Sydan's stoic technicality.

Ren and Paz also provide back-up vocals (as Sydan is far too self-conscious about her voice and will only step to the mic in those instances where a four-part harmony is absolutely necessary), and Paz has done lead precisely once: when he wrote a song for his Spanish final project (aka when they added Me Enamora to Rock Band 3).

Fun fact: their hair highlights are reversed (Ren has white hair with a blue highlight, Paz has pink hair with a white highlight)

#56: Arlein Idea: Storm Lord in training on a bit of field work Story: Dragon Tavern

Somewhere around 2009 or 2010, I made a second batch of nine characters for Dragon Tavern. Since I already had the idea for the five-year timeskip, I decided these guys would be bands of adventurers searching for the missing Champions; their respective kingdoms started to get suspicious after they stopped receiving updates from the parties and put out monetary rewards for anyone who could find and bring them home. An entire subculture began to form among these "Seekers" as they traded info, banded together, and raced against one another, eventually leading to the formation of the titular Dragon Tavern and its surrounding community in an area equidistant between the three kingdoms.

The first group of Seekers in this story hailed from the Mountain Kingdoms, led by the trainee Storm Lord, Arlein. Unfortunately, Arlein's one of the least developed of this second generation, probably most evidenced by her original design; it was supposed to be an armored mage look, but it came out fairly bland. Years later, when I was redrawing everyone for practice, I noticed a funny little thing about all of my previous characters: thanks to not really thinking about it as a kid, they were basically all white people, barring the slightly tan Enkeli and Systir and the vaguely southeastern Asian adjacent Alriem. Since I was more aware of actively trying to create diverse characters, and since I wasn't overly fond of Arlein's original design, I decided that was the perfect time to give her a complete overhaul. Since I didn't have any no-shit black characters in DT, Arlein would be the first.

Now, I still have to work on her backstory and details, but the general idea for her is that she's on this trip to earn a hefty tuition - so long as she does some general "field work" along the way, the Academy will give her a basic stipend, and the full reward would cover just about any proper academic work she would ever undertake - and the notoriety that bringing in Alriem, Systir, and Iros would bring.
