For the lyric asks: 17 and Hurt for Chiar?
17. Going dim in my gaze (from this ask game)
cw: implied torture, blood loss, carved wound
masterlist.
The blood seeped scarlet, beading down Chiar’s skin.
He couldn’t look down. Couldn’t. Didn’t want to. Wouldn’t do it.
Didn’t want to see the insignia carved into his ribcage.
Couldn’t look at it without throwing up.
Chiar found the ground shifting beneath him, the world spinning to warp into shadows. His head spun. Probably from blood loss.
Black spores sprouted in the corners of his vision.
Bridge had been bored. Bored.
Chiar hadn’t found Bridge’s knife boring. He’d found it painful.
He slumped against the wall, hoping that the stones would give him more support than his own two feet.
They did not.
Bridge had carved the Interrogator’s insignia into Chiar’s ribcage.
Chiar folded in half on the stone floor, a hand clamped over the wound. The cuts were shallow. They would heal. Scar. And that was the worst of it all.
The pain would fade, eventually. The scars would not.
Cold air blew up from the floor. Chiar didn’t move.
The black spores spread across his entire vision, eyesight dimming entirely.
Unconsciousness, at least, was more merciful than the waking hours.

" We've got to regroup and figure out what's happening in Voa", said Teka.
" I have a guess," Akos said, crossing his arms. " Chaos."
"And then more chaos," Teka said with a sage nod. " With a short break in between. For chaos, ofcourse."

thinking about Daeran and how he loves the good in people and constantly tries to pull them in so he can hold something he knows he can't ever possess and he sees you finally turning the tides against the demon hordes and bringing hope back into the worldwound and he falls so hopelessly in love and he simply cannot, will not hide it
still not over the thought that he thinks he needs to buy his way into your heart...that he thinks he has so little to offer as a person so he falls back on grand gestures
and when you finally FINALLY get to tell him how much you love him he trembles and holds onto you in disbelief that anyone could see everything he is and still love him

pairing: dk/jeonghan
rating: G
tags: flirting, halloween, seokhan with cute kids
summary:
Jeonghan attempts to woo Seokmin while carving pumpkins. Only one of those things works out as it should.
excerpt:
To make himself feel a little less pathetic, Jeonghan invited Seungcheol along. Seungcheol was currently distributing markers on the other side of the same lunch table. “Are you even wearing a costume?” he asked.
“Can’t you tell? I thought it was obvious.”
“Let me guess. You’re dressed up as your evil twin,” Seungcheol deadpanned.
“No.”
“You’re ‘dressed up’ as a volunteer.”
“Technically correct, but no.”
“You’re extremely annoying.”
“Grammatically correct, but sadly, no,” Jeonghan said. “I’m a university student!”
Seungcheol gave him a long, pitying look. “Reminiscing about your prime already?”
Jeonghan ignored the jab. “I’m disappointed. I even took a nap in this outfit before coming here to make it seem more real.”
“Cow poop,” said Seungcheol, in consideration of the children. He narrowed his eyes. “You just wanted to look nice for Lee Seokmin.”
It was a mistake to invite him along, Jeonghan decided. “Well, thank you for thinking I look nice, but why is it only for Lee Seokmin? Why can’t I just look nice for everyone?”
“Because you don’t care about everyone,” Seungcheol quipped.
