Regulus just wanted five minutes to himself so he could hear himself think. But every time, he found somewhere quiet to hide. James Bloody Potter showed up. Every damn time. Finally, he’d had enough. 

“How the fuck do you keep finding me?!” His usually collected demeanour was in tatters as he flung his arms into the air, mimicking his brother in exasperation. 

James smirked down at him, quirked his eyebrow and said mysteriously. 

“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.” He grabbed the front of Regulus’s robes and pulled him in for a kiss. 

It was passionate. It was deep. Regulus felt himself melting at James’s touch. His body fit perfectly against James’s chiselled chest. He felt he could kiss James like this forever. 

Just as quickly as it had started, the kiss was over. James pulled away and winked at him. 

“Mischief managed.” He murmured before leaving Regulus in his hiding spot. 

He definitely needed a minute alone now after that magical encounter.
