So I started thinking of an AU where Della didn't take the Spear of Selene and the bois grew up with their entire family and now I'm thinking....

In this AU, F.O.W.L. wouldn't have seen the need to make April/Webby

Cause Webby and the bois are the same age yeah? But we don't know exactly who was born first. We know the bois hatched in April 15 (HA! April!) but we don't know when Project #87 started. It's totally possible Project #87 got started after the bois were born

F.O.W.L. needed Scrooge's heir, right? But an "heir" doesn't necessarily have to be a direct child, it can be a niece or a nephew too, the show itself says so. Scrooge refers to them all as potential heirs.

So F.O.W.L. didn't need Scrooge to be a father really, they just needed Scrooge to have a child (or multiple children) in his family to potentially consider as his heir. This is why I believe Webby wasn't made until after Della left with the Spear of Selene.

Before Della got lost, Scrooge had 5 potential heirs right there. The twins and the unhatched Duck bois. F.O.W.L. didn't need to clone Scrooge, they just needed to wait until the eggs hatched and see if they could manipulate the triplets into getting them the papyrus.

But then Della got lost, one less potential heir. And Donald had a falling out with his uncle and left the mansion, one less potential heir. And the triplets were hatched and raised in the houseboat, without meeting Scrooge or even knowing they were related. Three less potential heirs.

No potential heirs

So now F.O.W.L. has a problem. And what do they do? That's when they make April/Webby.

So if Della didn't get lost and the family didn't break apart, then they wouldn't have made Webby.

More evidence to this is the fact that we see that Scrooge was living alone when Beakley moved in with him. Della and Donald were all already out of the picture before Beakley came to his door with a child.

Della knows Beakley as "Agent 22", she's surprised that she's the housekeeper now. So, we know that she didn't move in until after Della's disappearance.

So, in an AU where the Spear of Selene didn't happen, there's no Webby.

DuckTales: Smart, Tough, Sharp and...?

Yes, I know that when DuckTales '17 was planned, Webby (April McDuck) Vanderquack was planned to be the 'fair and square' out of Scrooge McDuck...but now that her identity as a clone and her sisters are out there, what does this make them?

Alternatively, what I believe had a fourth season been planned, while the male triplets have Scrooge's famous qualities (smart, tough and sharp), the female triplets could have different and/or more extreme angles on said qualities:

While Huey has Scrooge's intellect, Webby has his curiosity, which has been known to lead him into dangerous situations.

While Dewey has Scrooge's bravery, May has his seriousness, which has been known to shape the adventure capitalist into a miser.

While Louie has Scrooge's sharpness, June has his ability to manipulate, which has been known to stifle his relationships, for example, the Ghost of Christmas Past.

What does this mean? I don't know, but it makes sense why you see Huey with Webby a lot. Perhaps in S4 we could have gotten Dewey/May and Louie/June Episodes...and even one where they must work together to balance their flaws!

I don't have any specific questions, but I'm always interested in hearing other peoples theories and opinions on character dynamics.

Well I'll have to wing it since you haven't given me any specfic dynamics or theories so I'll just give you my personal favorite dynamic and a personal theory of mine even tho is technically more of a headcanon XD So as for my favorite dynamic between two character Huey and Dewey definitely take the cake. They are literally THE brothers ever and I absolutely LOVE/ADORE their relationship. The way their dynamic hits so many different dynamics and the way to me they are literally the most accurate siblings ever. One minute Huey is a very protective brother the next he's beating up Dewey himself, one minute Dewey is teasing his brother for being such a nerd or being a bit annoyed of how his brother can be about it at times to literally at the point where he's gonna cry bcuz of how proud of he is of what his brother has accomplished as a nerd, one minute they're sharing a braincell and the next you will see Huey rolling his eyes in unamusement literally more than anyone else has in their entire life specifically bcuz of the fact he's just so done with Dewey's shit and more 😭 i love them sm you dont understand they are absolutely hysterical. They also remind me of me and one of my brothers! Me being the Huey and my brother Dewey. As for my theory well that is Dewey being Repulsed AroAce coded. - He has mentioned how uncomfortable he gets of the thought of just being in a relationship the point he says it's a threating thought - He has never shown interest in relationships outside of just wanting a reason to annoy his Uncle Scrooge for fun or just appreciating how happy his Aunt Daisy makes his Uncle Donald So its not even that he's interested in the dynamics or the idea of the relationship it was just Annoying Scrooge is funny and his Uncle Donald who was usually very depressed and worn out actually had more reason to be happy. - Even when he was annoying Scrooge he still got grossed out when Huey made a kissing joke and said he was disturbed when it came to Goldie and Scrooge's relationship And that is why I feel like he is Repulsed AroAce coded. I mean after all there are kid characters like Huey who are HUGE in romance and have shown their interest in that before. With Dewey if he was actually interested I feel like it would've already been shown. The reason why I consider this MY theory is bcuz I know some ppl theorize he may be possibly aroace spec but also mspec bcuz his love interest in his dream where he mentioned his distaste for relationships had an overlapping masc and fem voice. And they thought he could of been coming to terms with the fact his sexuality happens to be bi or pan or something. While I think it could be a working theory I feel like my points of him even showing distaste towards other relationships outside of his own and the fact unlike the other kids he is shown to much more against the idea debunks that. I'm sorry this was a long post but hey you asked so I was gonna give you a proper answer 😅

If Mark Beaks really did have an older sister I feel like she would have body and self confidence issues. She'd struggle with feeling confident in how she looks and having an identity outside her mother. She would be very controlling of her surroundings. And also be a hugeeee people pleaser and a doormat for their mom (Emma)

Either she was her dads favorite or her dad didn't pay any attention to her and focused his attention on Mark (it's been implied that Mark's dad was some type of coach and would berate Mark for not being good at them.)

Also I feel like she'd be alot like Lydia from Metal Family

Character Bases

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ April O’Neil was the basis behind her facial structure while Total Drama’s Courtney was the basis of her Season One outfit (and to a lesser extent, her name), but I don’t have that kind of space.

Development

Whitney, formerly Bianca, had a mildly turbulent design process. She was always an ambitious go-getter, but she initially leaned more into the preppy aspects of this.

She quickly became defined by a work ethic, Rough Sketch featuring her in many odd job positions. RS had her as a slightly less rule abiding character, ICT giving her many of Peony’s old quirks, but her rapier wit remained. The final touches was making her weird pompadour thing into a more cloud like shape and adding a tooth gap and little white freckles.

My problem with Della Duck is that she never felt like a mother to me

She’s a fun character but she feels more like Auntie Della, the one you go to to have fun with bc she’s less responsible than your dad but she’ll still make sure you know when you messed up

And in fics it feels like they’re trying to replace Donald with her which I don’t find fair, bc she may be their blood mother but he’s their dad
