was feeling super rattled from work today and i realised i needed to completely focus on a project so i made this gorgggg lasagna for myself and my partner and surprised him with dinner when he came home from volunteering....i used the nice barilla pasta sheets and made a white ragù sauce with caramelised sausage crumbs..with grilled tenderstem broccoli on the side.....feel like maybe life isn't all evil now

Been making baba ganoush and loving it, then I realized "Hey it's getting to be squash season, people are about to have more zucchini than they can give away. I could try making mama ganoush with that." So I made arrangements with a neighbor and now I've got a supply of zucchini for that.

First attempt was mediocre, tasted like lemony zucchini puree. Second batch I upped the tahini and garlic and it came out great. Not quite as good as baba ganoush, but Neighbor Zucchini is much cheaper than grocery store eggplant so I can't complain!
