too many christians these days talk a lot about Christ’s death but only acknowledge His resurrection like it’s an afterthought. as if that’s some how less important than the fact that He died? yes He died to forgive our sins but it would be meaningless without the resurrection. He came back from the dead and inaugurated the Kingdom of God here on earth. He kicked off the new redeemed humanity. He defeated death.

Was finally back at the bar last Saturday after three weeks of being sick

#it was karaoke night!! but i still had a sore throat and came kinda late so i decided not to sing this time #it was so fun tho and i got tipped €60 even tho my shift was only 6 hours and it wasn't really crowded #it was so sweet how everyone was happy to see me again since i had to skip halloween and my two previous shifts 😭😭😭#my boss said 'heyy melissa high five great to see you' and complimented my shirt and his wife was like 'risen from the dead! welcome back'#and the girl i hadn't worked with before but who i've seen at meetings and concerts immediately hugged me and was so nice to me #i wondered why she sang along so enthusiastically to 'männer sind schweine' by die ärzte until i found out her husband suddenly left her #with three little kids!! 🙄 one of them has cancer and now she suddenly has to find an affordable apartment for the four of them #this is stressing me out so much how fucking dare he. men. our boss posted about it on facebook asking for help which is really kind of him #after we closed when the security guard jokingly suggested a new guy for her she said she's becoming a lesbian so welcome to the club ig #anyway don't we love it when guys suddenly dump you out of nowhere as soon as things start to get a lil rough. viva la lesbianism for real #my face #the bartender chronicles

#note: I am playing the DS version via emulator!#gave in to temptation and looked at one (1) thing on the wiki I thought wouldn't spoil me #...I got spoiled again #my guess about the coffin was completely wrong btw #I thought the third dead was in there. but no. they were dead.#trying to specify who I mean without spoiling it for others lol #anyway I still love Ace's design but Snake has just risen up in my favourites #Santa. I like Santa. good character. great design. one of my faves. enough said.#Clover. oh boy. her design's cute. there's a weird implication made by Ace at one point but I'm ignoring it #but there's not much to say about her? like yup. Snake & Clover's connection sure is strong #but Clover doesn't get much development outside of it. I like her but she's not making my faves list #Junepei himself? he's not a blank protagonist. I like that. however he's not that far off from being a blank protagonist #he has some good moment. his design is eh. that's all #June... I've been spoiled about her #she's nice & I love her design! her and Junepei's relationship fleshes both of them out a lot #I also find the constant interruption of the flow for June and Junepei's special romantic tension time really fucking annoying #they're cute! I get it! I get that it's plot relevant! I think that these scenes highlight Junepei's flaws!#but also shut upppp about her hair smelling good. I don't Care #they do have some good banter at points though #Seven has actually really surprised me - I thought I was going to hate him but he keeps becoming even more likeable #Lotus... I think we're supposed to think she's a terrible person. and she definitely has her moments #but although she is selfish and values her self-preservation above everything else #I think her motivations explain a lot of that #wrote these out of order then reordered them to fit the number order. was just feeling silly goofy #to finish off the cast for good measure... contestant 9 sucks in all of the ways. his design is bad. his actions are realistic #but that entire sequence feels like some kind of ableism to me. it just really rubbed me the wrong way

Hi, I would like to post another poem of mine that I just finished (21st April 2023).

Precious Blood that set me free

I keep on thinking that I'm not good enough

That's why I'm once again running into Your arms

Your love and peace of mind is all I need, Savior

To survive in the midst of this huge storm

Your Words are what gives me comfort, God

You're the One I go to when I feel not good enough

When I feel left behind, You remind me that Jesus thought about me on the cross

Before dying to let my sins be washed by His precious Blood

He could have run away from His calling but no

Because His love for me is the greatest type of love

Even though He is the Lord, He came to our earth

To let bring closer to us the Kingdom of His Father

He taught the Truth coming from God Almighty

And revealed it to those who had an interest in it

He was loving and caring to everyone around Him

He healed them, ate with sinners for He came to those who trully needed more faith

Jesus gave them kindness and love greater that anyone could ever imagine

He is the One that brought us closer to God who's our Light

For He didn't want us to be published in afterlife

But be happy in the Heaven after we become more Christ-like

Who set us an example of how our lives should look like

In order to let us know what we should do to not be left behind

His love is still with us every single day

For Jesus Christ died but it wasn't the end — He rose from the grave —

Just like He told His deciples a few times before

He left an empty grave and showed Who He truly is

Even though not everyone believed it before His death, now there's no way to deny it

He is a Son of God, our Savior and precious Messiah

Who now leaves in the heart of each of us

Through His name, many healings and other miracles occur

For there is a power in His name that's way beyond way of thinking of ours

He continues to bless us, prays for us and through His Blood

There is left no trace of our sins for we are cleaned in It, for Jesus forgave us

On the cross when we people hurt precious and innocent Him

Hi, I would like to share with you another poem of mine that I finished today (22nd April 2023).

The name of Jesus

In the name of Jesus, I will be healed

In the name of Jesus, my heart will be filled

With love, kindness, joy, wisdom and peace

In the name of Jesus — of the One who made God feel pleased

I will do what my God wants me to do and will fulfill my life's purpose

In the name of Jesus, through His Blood I will be cleaned from my sins

In the name of Jesus, I will seek the Kingdom of my Heavenly Father and find it

In the name of Jesus, the miracles will happen

In the name of Jesus, I will have a strong faith

No matter what happens, I will not be dismayed

In the name of Jesus, I will never lose my hope

For He has never forsaken me, I was never alone

In the name of Jesus, in the darkest times Lord will held me

In His sovereign Hand that created me

With so much love and care that cannot be described

Thanks to His Son — Jesus — I can be saved and redeemed

The Love He showed me is greater than anything else

That's why in the unsure times, I run to His Arms

Which were once attached to the cross in Golgotha

For He was crucified and suffered so much to give me eternal life

On the cross, He was thinking about us and what He'll be able to give us through His suffering

That's right, Jesus loves us more than we can imagine, His love for us was stronger than anything

He was being whipped, carried His cross and let His mighty Hands

And Legs be attached to the cross by nails

He did it for us to have a chance to repent and be welcomed in the Kingdom of His Heveanly Father

His name is filled with so much power, love and hope — that's why we continue to pray in His Holy Name
