Started watching Milgram with the bestie we paused at Bring it on

He loved the concept and might get into it from how I saw him, I don't think it'll become a hyperfixation, but at least will understand a bit more when I freak out heh

He loved undercover, not sure his feelings towards Jacklope, so far he things Es is kind but also doing their job correctly

The way he is judging the characters is basically by the law, I explained it was about forgiving or not and so on, but he kept going with "um actually ☝️🤓" jsjsjsjs

So far according to him

Haruka: guilty. Even tho he is a victim of his circumstances, and didn't have the means to stop he still did it with his own hands. Reducing/shorter his sentence considering all the mental health issues. Feels bad for him (extra note, when we were watching the VD: "... That used to be you.... >:( That used to be literally you." When Haruka apologizes profusely). Neutral-positive about him, but loved the teaser of T1 (the glitched thing)

Yuno: innocent. Abortion isn't murder. Feels REALLY bad for her, I don't think he cried but pretty sure it was like a bucket of cold water to him. Believes Yuno wanted to keep the baby and had to get rid of it (which is what hit him and made him feel horrible for her). Favorite character so far. (Extra note: every time I heard him pity her I just thought of Yuno being pissed for that on t2)

Fuuta: guilty. He agrees with what he does (twitter users understand each other lmao), but he committed an indirect murder (there's an actual term), he suspects Fuuta got the girl killed by doxing. "He had many chances to stop, and never did. He was fully aware of what he was doing and didn't show us any mental health issues that could've done any effect on his decision making". Understands him, neutral-positive about him too

A couple extra notes, when we watched the trailer, with Muu he immediately went "this one is such a manipulator" and as a Muu hater I just stare jsjsjsjsjs I'm really excited to see his reaction to Muu's whole arc till now... (Extra note: the bestie used to be quite similar to Muu in many aspects so I can't wait to see what will happen from that). When Shidou popped up he just went "Hannibal!!" (His hyperfixation) and I just go "no". When Mahiru popped up, he loves her, atm on top 3 favorite (I don't think that's gonna last), "I support her and she is innocent" also he officially assigned her to me... (Just like how I've assigned to him Kotoko and Kazui). With Kazui he also loved him, he loved what he said on the trailer and seems to agree a lot with him, also on top 3 favorites. Amane, "is she the cult one?" .... "Oof.... Ugh.... That's rough..." but even so "saying that there are things more important than the law.... Doesn't sound good for her". With Mikoto and Kotoko he really didn't say anything of interest...

So I'm trying to stay quiet for the most part (even tho I've infodump him a lot) and I'm fighting for my life defending my boy Haru and, I might've been a t2 Amane guilty voter and all, but I'll probably jump in her defense if he says not forgive. It's gonna be so much fun see him struggle with Mahiru's case and I'm just gonna stare like (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)

Anyways so far he's enjoying it a lot and some of his opinions will probably sparkle debates between us, but I'm trying my hardest to stay calm because he doesn't have the full picture yet (well we neither, but you get it)

Hey hey love!! Glad to have you back!! I'm doing okay, had one exam and I'm working on a paper. How are you? I'll give you an update, starting from May 21, hope that's alright.

Harry: He didn't get papped much these last few weeks. Only one time I think?

He did ONO in New York and London

He did a few interviews, but not that interesting I think. He did however a music video thing with James Cordon for Daylight, which was fun!

Besides that, he pretty mia. Last Sunday he played at the BBC big weekend thingy. That was so much fun. And My Policeman will be out in October/November, trailer will be out soon.... I think that's it.

Do you have an cool AU ideas for Amy?

I don't know if you've read some of my stuff I wrote over the years, but I really liked exploring certain ideas like Amy and the rest of the cast being treated like actual modern day celebrities, a status they never experienced before in a world where social media is just as prevalent as ours (kinda like that Sonic Boom episode on role models) or, more relevant in recent times, Amy being the elite Hammer Knight fighting in a fictionalized version of medieval Spagonia (and thank you Hardlight for making Hammer Knight canon in Sonic Forces Speed Battle as Paladin Amy)

Recently I haven't had the chance to come up with more AU ideas, mostly because I don't have the time anymore to sit and think about what could be cool (I mean, in the few days I waited to answer this ask a new idea crossed my mind: Treasure Hunter Amy AU), but also because I've been trying to stuff more of my ideas into the limits of canon, maybe just streeeeetch it a bit outside of canon but keeping it kinda rooted in it.

Oh also the High School AU jsjsjsjs that was a fun summer experiment I must admit. Cliché as hell but I had so much fun with it.

2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works

Rules: it’s time to love yourselves! choose your 5 (or so) favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought to the world in 2020. tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!

I’ve been having a particularly rough start of the year mental health wise, so I thought I’d love on myself for a little bit with this particular tag. It’s kind of hard to choose 5 stories because I actually like a lot of the things I produced this year, but I’ll try to stick to the rules. These ones are probably not gonna be in any particular order, because choosing is already hard and giving them a tiered list is going to be harder jsjs

you’re the light that i follow

the first half of this fic i actually started writing in 2019 after i found out they had killed Joan off in young justice for no apparent reason and then proceeded to not give her a proper send off like our wonderful Joaney deserved. initially a fic purely made out of spite, “you’re the light that i follow” takes first mention simply because it helped me process some very big feelings i was trying to process in march. it was heart wrenching to finish it, but it also helped me rationalize the emotions in me and laid down the foundation for what later became my coping mechanism for dealing with grief. it certainly holds a special place in my heart.

should’ve worshipped him sooner

this one was probably the LAST concept i managed to figure out for bluepulse week, but it’s literally my favorite one. while i really care about all of my bluepulse week fics (i think i did a pretty okay job with 2020′s bluepulse week) this one probably takes the cake, probably because i love Henry a little bit too much now. also, Bart calling Jaime “little beetle”? y’all can’t tell me that wasn’t the best fucking decision DC ever made (IT’S CANON. you can pry it off my COLD DEAD HANDS) and the line “get off my goddamn dick” is still my favorite thing i’ve ever written. i have to admit i originally didn’t like this one that much, but it really grew on me after it got such a warm reception, so thank y’all for that!

the leaving is just the same

another bluepulse week fic because i really loved bluepulse week jsjsj pretty sure i spent all my writing braincells in that one week. i love this one because i got to write betty allen-reyes a little bit, but also because it was really nice to explore the concept of the speed force as this sentient, all-knowing, all-powerful force of the universe that chooses to fuck with her speedsters on a daily basis because of reasons yet unknown to us. also, the line “she was all reyes, but her heart beat to the rhythm of bart’s own” is so good and i can’t believe that came out of my brain. also one of my favorites because it allowed me some creative liberties on where all the characters ended up and i think that’s really cool. loved the idea of Jaime as president of Kord Industries and Bart as his trophy husband after retirement. pity i stuck Bart in the speedforce cause i’m mean jsjsjsj

of duty and fate

one of my only homestuck fics this year even when i had so many things planned for johndave week and didn’t get around to write them all. loved writing this piece because it’s also me getting one of my crossover AUs out there in the world. it doesn’t actually have any crossover in it because it’s heavily focused on the BEFORE of the story i want to write, but i still had a lot of fun writing it! the type of yearning in a high fantasy AU between a prince, heir to the throne and his knight is probably the BEST FORM OF YEARNING and I just love the idea behind this whole story. it’s come to my attention it’s a bit difficult to follow, but maybe if i ever got myself to finish writing the whole story it might be a little less complicated. then again, it’s a crossover AU, so who am i to say jsjsj

nightmares

probably the MOST self indulgent thing i’ve written after “too hot, hot damn” and this one is probably even MORE INDULGENT than “too hot, hot damn” simply because this crossover in particular makes absolutely no sense in EITHER original context. nevertheless, i love this one because it has some of my BEST writing and it has a friendship that i think would be superior if the universe hadn’t been such a coward. i keep thinking about a second part to this one, but i haven’t managed to do it. this crossover AU also spured some original content this year, so i guess not all is lost! anyways, it’s one of my favorite things i’ve written, if i’m being honest, and it has the same soft feel to it that “glitter (silent confessions)” has and i love it because of that same reason jsjs

this was actually really cathartic, i’m not gonna lie. left me feeling less angry at the world and at myself, so this was really nice! thank you for tagging me, and whoever wants to give themselves some love ABSOLUTELY SHOULD.

yamaguchi tadashi was one of the few people you ever trusted. maybe your parents too, but they had their heads so wrapped around the idea that you had to marry some prince or duke or someone with power that they never looked at what you wanted. and to anyone who was looking from the outside, it was quite obvious that you didn’t want what they wanted, but who’s looking anyway? you might be the princess, but your problems sure as hell were never listened to.

except tadashi. the green haired boy you somehow fell in love with in between the lines. and perhaps it was a little cliche, for the princess to fall in love with her servant, but cliches were cliches for a reason.

the festival was a blur of lights and people, but you had more fun than when you went in the day. when everyone was curtsying and you could hear the quiet rumours being passed around. it really was a surprise how much people stopped paying attention to you once you stopped dressing like royalty.

“y/n, you should get home now,” tadashi murmured near your ear, so as not to draw any attention with your name.

you pulled your watch out of your pocket, looking at the small metal hands of the clock pointing to the time. “maybe,” you grin at him.

“i’m getting you out of here on time one way or another, and you can’t stop me,” he looks at you, a small smirk tugging at his lips, which you know he wouldn’t have done in the day. the night just brings out the truth and sides of us we’ve never seen, you thought.

maybe it was the serotonin from the music, but you raised your eyebrows as if in a challenge. this boy in front of you, despite being born in different worlds and different social classes, god, you liked him so much.

and so you kicked off your shoes, not caring where they ended up in, because they were just an old pair you found in your closet. your bare feet were warm against the cold stones of the pavement, and you looked at tadashi, who appeared to be thinking of something.

“what are you-” you started to say, but was cut off by him lifting you from the ground and into his arms.

“i told you i’d be getting you home on time,” he whispered, just loud enough for you to hear and blush slightly.

he brushes the strands of your hair away from your forehead while you’re grinning at him, and he just found you to be the most beautiful person in the world. perhaps it was because you’re the princess, right? you had to be beautiful. but to him, you were beautiful even on the inside. most people take one look at you and tell you that you were beautiful, but tadashi took so many looks and so many small glances. he memorised the way you smiled when something goes right and your laugh. he memorised it all.

for him to like you not just because of your status, and for you to like him back not just because you wanted to defy your parents, he was so lucky. “what did you do?” he accidentally thought aloud.

what did you do to make me fall for you. what did you do to be this beautiful.

you smiled and said, “left my shoes in the street so you’d carry me.”

i fell in love with a boy that loved me back.

somehow, both of you knew what the other was trying to say.

he carried you home that night, and at the end of the night, he pressed his lips to yours. you kissed him back, as much as you can given that he was still carrying you.

your shoes were forgotten on some street, but you didn’t care. you only cared about tadashi and his smile and every single part of him.

i would say he’s gonna be the uncle babysitter but he tries his best fr

he tries to take care of the kids but...

it didn’t go so well

he always panics midway when the kids are doing something “stupid” (stupid, according to taeil)

cause he’s o l d and doesn’t have the energy to go and stop then sjjsjs

so he tries to stop them like this, “g-guys no no no don’t climb up there”

he’s panicky and all so his voice would be almost inaudible so, the kids couldn’t hear

proceeds to ruin the whole house and he doesn’t know what to do.

oh also i feel he’ll make himself look stupid with his dance moves to make himself look “cool” in front of the kids

He was missing him an awful lot. Before he left, Brian had to keep reassuring him that “it was only one day”, and that “they would be together again before he knew it.”

How long will they last?

A long time lol - after what they’ve been through in Hope County? At the very least, they’re going to stick together platonically, but they really do love each other

How quickly did/will they fall in love? -

Pretty quick, oops - it was kinda a “we’re enemies, we’re enemies, we’re enemies, ….fuck, i really like her, when did i fall in love with you?” thing. My personal timeline for the game is about six months from helicopter crash to the final showdown with Joseph. Alice first goes to the Henbane about a week and a half in, and first meets Faith after helping the County Jail. They first talked person-to-person, not Herald-to-Deputy about three weeks after the crash, and “I love you” was first said on Halloween, though that was literally when Alice realised that she had actual, hard feelings for Faith, not just a little crush.

They both do - they’re fine with a certain level of clutter/mess, but they work to keep it from getting too bad.

They’ve come up with a good split on the chores - they both like doing different things, so neither of them has to do stuff they don’t like, unless the other asks. (Like - Faith hates cleaning the bathroom, Alice hates doing the dishes, etc.)

Who cleans up after the pets?

Alice - Faith was very firm on that lol. Alice is why they’re in the house, so unless Alice asks for help, she’s not going out of her way to clean up (normal) messes.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug?

…Alice.

Claire catches her doing it once, and she just laughs and has to promise Alice not to tell.

Faith - Alice just throws random clutter into their bedroom to deal with later, but Faith wants the house to be just a tad cleaner.

Alice - Not being pressured or restricted to short showers is one of her favorite things about moving out to Montana

Usually Alice, though Boomer loves his walks along the creek that runs through town that Faith will take him on.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays?

Alice insists on Halloween and Christmas, though Faith eventually gets her to decorate for Valentines day as well. They go all out for the first two, with just touches of pink getting added around the house for Valentines.

What are their goals for the relationship?

They don’t really have any? They want to be together and be happy. They’d love to move somewhere warmer when they’re old and the kids have moved on, but… At least at this point, they’re still preoccupied with rebuilding the county.
