This is too funny to me. I know, sounds "salty" but read this and tell me is there any good reason to do this. There isn't, none at all.

In fact, if you're someone who does this, go ahead and unfollow me. I don't want people who like being trolls interacting with me.

Don't be that person who hates on a ship and purposely tags it for the shippers to see. People like this will turn around and play "victim".

No, you're just being a jerk and it's not cute. Being hostile towards shippers who haven't even giving you an ounce of attention before for no reason is not cool.

I don't know what's the deal with being mean and thinking it's quirky or whatever, but please stop.

Clear sign that they're bored and just want some attention because they have nothing better to do.

So why didn't you use the other ship's tag, too? They used the tag of a popular ship!

Again, for attention! Oh, you're definitely going to get but you won't like it.

I can already see what's going to happen. They're going to get several people to tell them off and eventually it will get overwhelming. It will suck, for sure. But to avoid that...

If you hate a ship and post about it, properly tag it. Use the anti-tags, not the main ones.

Bakudeku is a ship where the characters are the same age, aren't related in any way and their development has changed over time.

All the comments on the tags on my Lokius Parent Trap poster have me like 🥺🥺🥺 So here are a few things I thought of for that AU, maybe one day I'll write it.

It's canon-compliant except for the whole tree thing. All the centuries of timeloops help and they do find a solution to fix the loom.

Mobius and Loki decide to live in the timeline together

Loki connects with Thor because I need that reunion

They get married and the kids are their biological sons (maybe connects with the headcanon some have that Don's wife was a Loki variant)

Sean and Kevin are not twins, they are like maybe less than 2 years apart in age

Since they are Loki's kids, they can use magic

The reason why Loki and Mobius get divorced is because they are dumb and care too much about each other but I'm keeping the details a secret in case I do write it. Loki moves in with Thor in New Asgard, and Mobius stays in the US.

I can't see either of them just completely abandoning each other, so Auntie Sylvie keeps tabs on both of them to inform the other of their lives. Sylvie acts like she hates it all, but she loves her nephews and is constantly hinting that they should talk to each other but they are both too stubborn.

Mobius has his own super successful watercraft chain stores all over the country. Loki becomes a famous painter. Why? Because I think painter!Loki is everything okay?

The kids go to the same camp, very similar to the actual movie, playing pranks on each other etc etc but instead of changing places cause they are twins, they shapeshift into each other. The kid that is with Loki (which I think is gonna be Sean but I still haven't decided) helps the other one out with magic cause he's not as good cause he only learns bits and pieces from Aunt Sylvie.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to give Mobius a fiancé, but unless I can think of a reason why Kevin and Sean need to urgently switch back it might happen. Maybe he just feels like his son needs another parental figure because he keeps getting busier and busier, and there's some hot person who keeps flirting with him. It would be an OC.

If you're like Mobius and Loki are good at figuring out lies, how will they not tell that their kid is being weird? I headcanon that they are so indulgent with their kids that they are willing to look past all that and keep spoiling them. I dunno. I think its weird that in the original movie, the parents are the ones that don't notice but it has to be like that for the plot to work so...

That's just like the more general info, I have so much more little stuff. I've had this on my mind for about a week now. More? I might just have to hold off everything I'm doing and write it ahh.

Fics I remember killed me on sight

If you're into AUs and Lawlight, here's one where Light runs for presidency (Those who stand for nothing fall for anything) and one where he's a cryptid investigator (The forest holds strange creatures), they're both awesome in unique ways. Both are explicit, take that into account

If you're interested in reading different interactions and a very unique twist to the canon events where Naomi is the protagonist, Silent Partner, Unifinished Business is amazing and very suspensey

This one is long, immense, ultra suspensey, with a lot of different characters interacting in interesting ways I never thought before, very lawlight and very explicit, (but I read it all in like 3 days because it caught me BAD and was foaming at the mouth during the entire course of it), also was the founding inspiration to my BB brainrot and design-> Nights

I also made a masterpost of all my favourite meronia (melloxnear) fics back when I was balls deep into it

Finally, my AWESOME friends have made abbie x my BB fics for me back in the days which I treasure with my heart, I feel a bit schoopid sharing them because they're basically my OCs and their story remains a secret but they're beautifully written and. I die. I die everytime I remember they did these for me -> First Christmas (explicit), Stand under my Umbrella (short n funny), Just Another Day (sad and short, based on a comic I did years ago)

ANd also, same author as Silent Partner, wrote Dead Letter Office as a gift to me once, and it melted me into a sugary puddle in the ground

How I feel about L and Mikami

L is special to all of us, love the guy, haven't met a single DN fan who doesn't like L. He's just fun and unapologetic which is what I like about him the most.

Mikami I have a hard time caring about, he's just not my usual type of character at all. He's too rigid for me, although he has his unintentional funny side. I also felt he had no chemistry with any other characters, so that made him less interesting for me

Everything you said was turned around on you. Twisted from their original meaning to mean something else. It hurt. They were supposed to be your friends and they hurt you. You thought you could trust them but it turns out you couldn't.

Greg had found you crying and he didn't know what to do other than just hold you and rub soothing circles on your back. He didn't know how to help you because you haven't told him what was wrong yet. His mind is running through every possible reason that would have you sobbing on the couch when he walked through the door and it was coming up with some horrible things. He can't help it though. He wants to ask again about what happened but he knows you need time to just cry on him first.

"I'm right here, Honey. Whenever you're ready to talk I'll listen. I'm here for you." His voice is softer than ever. He places a kiss on your forehead and continues rubbing your back to comfort you.

After a little while you are able to calm down enough. No longer sobbing into Greg's shirt and instead letting soft sniffles escape you. When you turn your head to look at him he meets your gaze with his soft and concerned one. Gently, he wipes away the tears still streaming down your cheeks and presses a soft kiss to your nose.

"Greg, they hurt me." Your voice is hoarse and small but he hears it. More concern flashes across his face.

"Who hurt you? What did they do?" You can hear his protective side coming out in his previously softer voice.

"My friends. Well, they're not really my friends anymore. If they ever were in the first place. They twisted my words around. I thought I could trust them. I thought they were good people that I had a bond with. But I guess I was wrong." You look down at your hands as you start to fiddle with your fingers.

Greg's expression has confusion and sympathy written all over it. Confusion because he doesn't know why anyone would do something like that to you. His eyes are sad and the frown on his face deepens more. He brings his hand up to brush a few strands of hair away from your face and then cups your cheek, rubbing his thumb over it.

"Honey, I'm so sorry. You don't deserve that. If they hurt you they don't deserve to have you in their lives. You're too wonderful to have friends that don't treat you as well as you treat them. Do you want to tell me what was said?" His words are comforting and gentle. They always are though.

You shake your head no and he nods in understanding before placing another kiss on your crown.

"Okay. That's fine, sweetheart. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to or if you're not ready. If you change your mind I'll still be right here. Okay?" He uses the hand on your cheek to turn your head carefully to look at him again. You nod and he pulls you into his arms tighter now. Moving your legs to lay across his lap as you rest your head on his shoulder.

"I'll always be here for you, y/n. I love you and I will do anything I can to help you." He squeezes you a little as he speaks.

"I love you too, Greg." You sniffle again and your voice is still small. He only holds you tighter somehow. Trying to pull you closer even if it's almost impossible. He presses many soft loving kisses to your head. Wrapping you up in his arms is something that he knows will always help to some extent. It helps you of course but it also helps him because he knows you are there with him and safe with him. He knows he can at least provide some comfort to you this way.

He's always been there for you. You've always been able to trust him. You've always been able to count on Greg. He has never done anything to make you think or feel differently. You know just from this that he never will. He's your big love bear that just wants to keep you happy and safe and he always does a good job at it.

3 ships you like: I'm... not the type to talk about that... They exist.

first ship ever: Oh man, no idea. Something from Greek mythology maybe? Or from one of those compulsory readings in middle school? Maybe earlier?

last song you heard: This. Also in French. It's apparently based on an actual love curse song and I can't stop listening to it.

favourite childhood book: Either a two-volume book on Greek mythology or the Mary Poppins series. I received the Greek mythology book when I was about 6 and it was the first "serious" book I managed to read all by myself (I'd only read some Bamse beforehand). I used to like the first volume, the one on gods, better than the second one which focused on the heroes, which I found sort of boring. I wanted to read about cool powers and the like, not guys doing things. I lent the books to a friend a few years ago and haven't seen them since, but I recently leafed through the volumes at another friend's house (every kid has them), and noticed my tastes have sort of reversed now.

As for Mary Poppins... I still remember that frustrating Midsummer Eve volume which created more mysteries instead of answering longstanding questions. Immortal Mary? ??? Also that Halloween chapter where I would mentally replace the park and lane with the park across the street and my own street. My mental image of the MP world was half whatever I read, half my own home. (I only watched the Disney movie much, much later and found it rather disappointing.)

currently reading: - A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. I had forgotten how verbose he is! I appreciate the irony/dry humour but there are so many unneeded passages. It's also quite quotable, in fact it contains my favourite quote ever that I learnt of before knowing the book.

Alamut by Vladimir Bartol. It's ok so far, I'm only ~70 pages in, so I can't draw a conclusion, but I can't say I'm awed or anything. I'd be tempted to blame the translation, but it might also be my expectations (cool assassin action yeah!) vs reality (newcomer learns about stuff in painstaking detail).

The House on the Borderland by W. H. Hodgson. Literally just started it, I'm looking forward to being spooked. I've only read two other things by Hodgson, The Voice in the Night, which I can't remember for the life of me, and The Night Land, which I read the only time I worked in an office and I still can't tell whether reading that book or working in an office was worse. I Very Much Dislike working in an office if you couldn't tell.

currently watching: The Last Kingdom. I quite like it, despite the biker vikings and the ridiculous premise that everything in (future) England worked thanks to 1 (one) guy™ and some REALLY unneeded character changes (historical power couple turned into lil bitch husband vs long suffering wife who fucks the protag of course). Can't talk yet about the writing quality after Netflix took over (started season 4), but I do appreciate the better costumes and accessories. People finally wear rings, necklaces, brooches, armbands etc! Wew. I do not appreciate the Middle Ages filter even though some colour does manage to make its way on screen from time to time. I also miss the battle tactics, but well, as long as the character interactions are nice...

currently consuming: Coffee in a coffee appropriate cup I randomly found in the kitchen. Where do all these cups even come from?

currently craving: Infinite time to read what I want to read and enough money and warm sunny weather to travel. I miss Naples! My love 🥺

I was checking the followers list at @lokisprettygirl22 and I just wanted to say that some of the people who used to interact with me before and I haven't heard from in ages (and i don't mean the people who ignore my existence and my tags despite being active most of the day but the people who haven't been active at all and it's been months for some of them) I just hope you guys are doing okay and I miss you all. I really do hope you guys are just busy with life or lost interest in the fandom or Tumblr in general .

So, wanted to get some hiatus rec lists going and encourage some self promo in my friends so how about sharing your top fics no matter how big or small - give us the links to your wonderful words with the Most hits/Most kudos/Most comments/Most bookmarks/Most words/Least words.

Thanks @welcomingdisaster @emyn-arnens for the tag! As an overachiever who spent too much time in school where quantitative success is everything, I have a very fraught relationship with AO3 stats and I wish I could stab them dead (in fact I have a skin to hide them entirely, which I will cautiously disable for this), so I was not going to do this.

However. I have managed to train my brain to be ambivalent about them (and it feels so good, I recommend!!), so to celebrate, here we are.

Most hits: The Seven Trials of Fingon the Valiant (rated T, 10.4k), co-written with @melestasflight. A crack idea that we ran with, in which Fingon comes back after 10 years away with a real glow-up and all seven of Feanor's sons pursue him in their own ways. My not-co-authored fic with the most hits is a A Proposition (rated E, 5.5k), Fingon/Maedhros/Maglor smut. With affection (I did write it), you are sometimes very predictable, Silm fandom 😁💖.

Most kudos: Improving Relations (rated G, 1.1k), a bit of brotherly fluff between Caranthir and Maglor, talking about Haleth. I have no idea why this one is so popular, it took me less than 2 hours to write. I guess it just hits a sweet spot!

Most comment threads: Hearken Still Unsated (rated M, 15.5k), the one I just said "more comints?" 🥺for, haha (and I got some really thoughtful new ones 🥹). Something I've learned from the reblogs on that post is that it's often not the fics with only one or two comments that authors really crave feedback on, so I'll be changing my commenting habits!

Most bookmarks: Who Shall Release Us? (rated G, 2.3k), Maedhros is reembodied without memories and has to come to terms with the absence of Maglor. I am really happy with the thoughtful feedback this fic received.

Most words: Whose Voice Is Like the Sea (rated M, 20k, Daeron/Maglor in the third age), actually a part of the first fic I wrote and I'm very sheepish about it. My ideas about the characters (and, I think, skill) have evolved a lot since then.

Fewest words: (yes I'm being a pedant about least and fewest). Greek Vase Art. Because it's art, not writing. My two podfics also have very few written words.

haven't read fics in 5+ years -> wasn't interested in trigun fics until I stumbled upon an ace vash fic that really spoke to me -> started getting my own ideas -> realized I don't have the patience to draw a comic and writing words seems faster -> wrote and posted my first fic and got a suprisingly good response -> "well I guess that's what I do now"

Where did you learn to draw/how long have you been drawing?

I'm self-taught through visual osmosis of my favorite mangaka and other artists. My first memories of doodling (all I did was illustrate horse girls in horse books lol) is probably almost 20 years ago now.

What do you use to draw?

Primarily an Intuos 4 with Clip Studio Paint. I highly recommend CSP! When I'm on the go, I have an affair with my iPad Air.

What kind of art can I expect from you?

I like to draw fun and fluffy ideas for the most part. Usually it's some whimsical AU where the entire cast of a series is impossibly alive and interacting in interesting ways (this is mostly to staunch the pain of canon lol).

something that helps people: disclosure. i think something that's really held me back over the years is my inability to really talk about my issues with people and using that as an excuse to let them compound on each other until the situation is much worse than it was at the outset. talking things out with my mom has really helped me address my anxieties about certain things and helped me be more proactive too

meaning behind url: one of my favorite childhood books is love, ruby lavender by deborah wiles! it's part of a series written about various middle schoolers living in a mississippi town in the 60s. i really adore wiles' whimsical writing style and how she addresses children's struggle with the grief of losing a loved one

plot bunny

So I had a new plot idea. Just a thought I found interesting but anyone can feel free to take it and use it, just let me read it too 🥺

It probably fits in for any fandom, it was just thought up as a (reverse) harem setting (or at least for multiple pairings side by side) and I thought it up as a MDZS fanfic so I explain it in that setting further down.

TW: period typical racism/homophobia/sexism, slavery is a big plot point and all the issues it has, like potential non/dub con (nothing happens but it is mentioned and other characters think it is normal and what should be happening)

I tried tagging it properly but do let me know (kindly)

The basic idea was:

an AU set in the age of discovery (yes I am european fam, even had to look up the name for this in english kkkk) with an OC/reader insert that is financially Independent from their family and is very eccentric in their spendings (yes they have a family but for some reason the family does not interfere in their business. bonus points if OC is a woman since sexism was a thing at the time)

now characters from canon are being sold as slaves (not all at once, just the one first and then keep them coming and adapt to the fandom/character) OC was established as rich and eccentric so they buy the character and take them home but (not so shocking) treat them very kindly.

Now I'll describe this as I thought it up but again, I think this might fit in for any fandom/characters and I would really like seeing other people's take on this

OC is rich and has a family but is independent from them. I go so far as to think she is the main source of income and status for them, despite some of that having established before her. So she has her own house and does her own spendings and her fam can´t publicly interfere but they do some bashing behind her back (and to her face cuz she is a softie, especially for the family) but she will still try to stand her ground to do the things she wants and they let her cuz this is how they got their wealth and fame so far.

She is at the market and sees slave traders and is going to move past until the foreign looking (they are all foreign, it's why people decided they should be slaves - eww - but this one looks different from any other slave and is even being marketed as such). She decides to take him in so she buys him and brings him home. She speaks a couple of languages (I am making it be an unusual thing for that time but she is a language afficionado - ignore my projecting pls) but not his so another plot point is her personally teaching him and learning from him.

It's Jiang Cheng. He is moody but nothing if not adaptable and quickly resigns himself to playing along for his own sake until he can figure something else out. She takes him home, lets him bathe and gets the servants to bring over picture books and the most basic reading and writing learning books and tools. She starts personally teaching him.

Some more projecting and the OC is portuguese but speaks english so she tries to tell him only she speaks english here but if he wants to learn that or portuguese. (haven't quite decided which one he chooses and further down the line I decided they also have their own sign language system - a mix of pt sign language and other signs). She goes through the classes with him and even tries to learn some of his in return.

Cute moment when she introduces herself and he does too but she struggles A LOT with the tones for his name and he gets her to call him just Jiang, and he calls her by her first name (she insists and he isn't fully aware of it until later)

She teaches him some basic cultural stuff like how to greet someone (as in the bowing, the language stuff will come a bit later, she is on the more basic but key stuff, so basic nouns for a while).

She also lets him pick his own clothes. She calls over a servant, gestures for clothes and points to both the servant's and his clothes expectantly until he decides to keep his clothing style. She take shim to the tailors and I am playing on the assumption they have their own fabrics for clients to choose from in there so she lets him pick the fabric for his main outfit but they also get him some "normal" ones. He picks purple obviously, and she lets him, no matter how expensive purple fabric actually is - she is rich so she should spend it, no?

(this paragraph has mentioned/discussed dub con but nothing happens) Last character specific point (or at least that gets really developed for the first character that appears) is how everyone expects that he will be a sex pet (I am sorry) so a room isn't prepared for him - he is expected to sleep in her bed and with her. He is taken by the butler (who is period typical and therefore not very supportive of all the progressive shit she does and how she does it but hasn't been disrespectful so far) who lets him get washed up and then has him kneeling on the floor in her bedroom waiting for her in just his pants. She comes in, sees him there, touches his cheeks all tender but with a very obvious sadness in her eyes. She kisses his forehead and takes his hands to lead him to the bed but tucks him in, and then gets in herself (let her do a speed run of her nightly routine, baby deserves her -limited - skin care). she lies next to him and even holds his hand but nothing more. they wake up cuddled to each other but nothing happened other than that forehead kiss and hand holding (*~kya~* lol) and nothing happens the continuing nights.

Now onto more characters (that part was long cuz 1 gives a lot of setting and a lot of things are explained now because they will be very similar for all characters and 2 I love JC, if you didn't know)

I thought of letting Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian come next, caught as a pair. She is once more out and about, with JC, and he spots them. He tells her and she buys them, gives them a similar treatment, she has JC to explain the things he already knows and things go a bit smoother with that extra bit. JC tells her they are a couple so she gets them the room next to hers. JC keeps sleeping with her cuz the alternative is to sleep next to that couple and we all know they like their "everyday" (he also really likes sleeping next to her but will never admit it out loud). I havent developed much for these two so far except that I wanna play with Wangji's mommy issues so....

She is a bit keen on physical touch but not keen on crossing anyone's boundaries so she goes slowly. Hand holding is mostly for outings in crowded spaces (there are 3 guys now but she holds hands with JC and one of wangxian who hold hands themselves and problem solved) but she opens her arms wide open to express intent to hug and holds her hand next to the body part she wishes to touch (arm or face, dont be perverts - yet) and only touches if they acknowledge her intent and allow her (not moving away from her or pushing her away/pushing her hand to where they wouldn't mind/actually want her touching - no perverted shit *yet*). Wangji is actually keen on this and one time she caresses his face and he calls her "A-niang". She is clueless so far so she tilts her head and Wangji, emboldened by this, points to her and repeats it, before pointing at himself and saying "baobei". she understands this is something about how to address each other so she complies and calls him "baobei", not noticing his red ears and the shocked faces on the other two. Include a scene of WWX and JC confronting him about it and he is unfazed, in one of the language classes she still insists on personally giving, LWJ tells her and she doesn't mind either, whatever floats their boat (she is SOOOOOO into all of them but the whole master-slave thing makes consent an issue so she has decided to NEVER do anything with none of them - she can't even be sure if even if they initiated it, if it was out of a sense of obligation or because they really wanted her)

On the topic of forms of address, after trust is established and feelings, LWJ calls her A-niang and she calls him baobei, JC calls her a normal nickname for wtv name she has and she calls him A-Cheng at first and later on (after the A-niang incident) she calls him Cheng-ge (he is flustered cuz it never happened before but he is indeed older than her so she says it's only right), WWX is A-Xian/Xianxian and calls her Jiejie/*name/nickname*-jie.

Later on come 3zun. Kinda wanna separate Lan Xichen, he arrives first and Wangji recognizes him so we all know now she has to buy him too (and traders start to see she only buys this type of slaves and this might become an issue, and also now she has 2 similar ones and they think they can finally start to understand her preferred type - joke's on them hehe). The others help him blend in, etc etc, he has the gentlest vibes and maybe later on can be a bit of a right hand man to her (as well as JC because I say so and he is the one that has been with her the longest). Nie Mingjue and Jin Guangyao/Meng Yao come later but together (yes NMJ is still alive, I need his himbo energy). They are at odds with each other anyway and as she is trying to buy them, she hasn't brought enough money on her to buy both so she tries to bargain by trying to trick the merchant into a buy 1 get 1 free (throwing in a bit extra above the normal price for one so its more like a discount on the second one) and oh the mental implications this has on JGY that OC is gonna deal with.

Also just thought that Nie Huaisang will have to come looking for his brother but he at least is smart enough to come as a master himself and not a slave so he becomes her esteemed guest.

Other peripherical thoughts include her family visiting and the guys seeing the strained relationship and becoming protective of her, talks of releasing them/them escaping, thoughts of them bringing in different ideas that she capitalizes on (if one of the ideas evolves enough she might let the guy that came up with it be in charge of it), slice of life shennanigans, what pairings and they interact how (otp, 3tp, moretp ?), the servants not being understanding or not sharing in her views about the boys and being fired, reference about how she bows to them too low (she is the master and they her slaves) but even after they explained to her she souldn't bow so low, she insists even more on bowing like that, to show she sees them as her equals, how she wants kids but doesn't have a husband - men don't want her to keep her power and influence (period typical shit) and she would ruin her own reputation if she had a kid out of wedlock so she has resigned herself to not hving kids.

Possible other plot points include pressure for her to marry, business competition sabotaging her, attempted assassinations/kidnappings, one of the boys acting out in public and the consequences, her household staff messing up/messing with the guys/with her, a time of some business issues because cultural and societal views on her and how they overcome them.

Okay, so because of work and stress I am struggling with a little writer's block because my brain is basically too tired to produce anything.. (I'm glad I'm somewhat able to write today.. gonna use the muse as long as it lasts)

That's why I bounce between a bunch of wips at the moment. Because every time I lose the spark with one of them I go to the next one..

Let's just start with the newest wip and ending with the one I haven't touched in almost ages... not counting the ones where I have no access to anymore.. otherwise two of my series would be here as well... :sob:

- Not like others (Oh Sehun request)

Whenever you were with him, you had nothing to worry about.

- Arcane (BM one shot)

It reminded him of the time back then.

- 6 Wolves and a Fox (Jimin one shot)

You heard someone stopping behind you, breathing just as heavily as you.

- Apaixonar (Jackson one shot)

Jackson tried to reason with his thoughts, clinging to every little thing that would push his guilt away.

- Heimat (Chan and Felix one shot)

You traced his cheekbones with your fingertip, contemplating turning on the light so you could see his freckles.

- Found Family (Namjoon one shot)

There was never a need to explain every detail to Yoongi as he always somehow figured everything out on his own, finding the missing solution easily.

- Wabi-Sabi (Taehyung Series)

But you refused to let go of him and immediately hid your face in his chest as soon as Taehyung stood or sat close to you again.
