Were you crazy? To be swayed by a man like Shang Tsung was a punishable crime by God, and it certainly was about to be. You didn't exactly choose war with a God, but you were in for it. You defied peace the day you chose to not learn from Bi-Han's betrayal and go off on your own selfish path.

You were caught slipping. Making the foolish and arrogant decision to bring yourself back to his mansion. Thinking you could sneak in and take him out per Shang Tsung's request. He set you up for failure, and he knew this. However, instead of being sentenced to death like he thought would happen, there you sat: on your knees before the God of Fire and tears in your eyes. The cold chain around your neck and wrists behind your back clanging around in the silent room made shivers run down your spine.

Your weapon of choice was split in half on the ground behind you, nearly everything knocked over in the room. Any mortal that was able to piss off such a merciful and gracious God had to be out of their mind, and Liu Kang had no shame letting you know that.

"You disobey me, run off with the same sorcerer that tore apart Earthrealm's main defense, and come back here with the foolishly arrogant idea that you could kill me. Am I getting that right?" he said, pulling you forward as you were in between his thighs. He sat above you with his glowing eyes burning through your gaze, and the cloth that barely covered his dick sat right next to your face.

You had nothing to say. Humiliation ran its course throughout your entire body. What the hell were you thinking? Defeating a God? Seriously? Shang Tsung's words must have really been sweet like honey in order for anybody to just up and believe they could take out a God that was once betrayed by someone he thought highly of.

"Nothing to say? You only planned to bring my head to him as a gift, and no witty remark? Open your mouth." he demanded. You looked up at him confused and beads of tears at the corners of your eyes. Was he asking you to say something? Or literally open your mouth?

"I said to open your mouth." he repeated, gesturing for you to follow his orders. You slowly did so and waited for his next commands.

Your eyes were teary, nose was sniffing, and yet the smug smile was back onto your face. It was starting to excite you, and he knew this.

He dipped you back in again, this time at a set pace. The grip on your hair never let up. This was your punishment whether you liked it or not, and he wasn't going to be any nicer anytime soon.

He's just too good at this. It made you start to rethink your life decisions.

"N...No..." was really all you could say. Before all of this came to be, you two had fought it out. You were certain you could at least hurt him well enough to report back to Shang Tsung. A small part of you was okay with losing to him though...From the moment his hand was on your throat, your quest to defeat him was a lost cause.

"Didn't think so." he said while increasing the pace. Your legs were on the brink of collapse with how good he felt; him hitting that spot effortlessly.

"Ah! Liu Kang, please-!" you pulled against your restraints, only seconds away from release. Right at the last second, Liu Kang pulled right out, but didn't let go of you. Your eyes were now full of tears once again, being reduced to a sniffling mess. He shushed you as he rubbed circles on your waist.

"Tell me one thing, and you'll have your release." he said, "After today, are you going to come after me again?"

"No! No, I swear, my Lord. I won't do it again! I learned my lesson, please! I'll even break ties with Shang Tsung!" you frantically said. Satisfied with your answer, at the snap of his fingers the chains fell off your wrists and you gasped.

"Perfect." he whispered as he grabbed under your knee and pulled your leg up. Both your hands met the wall to keep balance, and he just shoved himself right back in.

Everything resonates here. Their approaching footsteps, their heavy breathing. You can hear it all - which means that Gwi can hear it with crystal clarity. By the sound of it, they were still pretty far off. Far enough to be oblivious to what's going on. Good. That works for you. You hear their hushed voices. You hear the fear in their words. You wonder how that makes him feel. Does he take pleasure in it like he revels in yours?

For some reason, you hope not.

I wanna laugh at the cleriths on twitter who ask for tifa to tell the truth so cloud wouldn't get to a mental breakdown THEN they will accept her??? How is it so difficult for them to get that its an important part for him to get to that vegetable stage for the narrative???? My brain cells, I just wanna hug Tifa, these people don't get empathy and EQ....also IQ considering she can't say it all because she didn't even know he was there!!!!! What good would that do??? Plus if they think it's dead future aerith in the resolution? Shouldn't they be more angry at her since she said little to no information to actually help him and said just vague shit??? hi. So I have nearly 90 drafts that have piled up over the course of about 3 or 4 months, so I guess I’ll start posting them now 😭 I haven’t really read over this or checked it and I think I wrote it at 4am, so I’m sorry if it loses any coherency

(Headcanon?? or im just down bad) but like, joel’s “if somehow the Lord gave me a second chance at that moment, I would do it all over again” being the way he tells ellie he loves her is so incredibly profound to me. Love (WE’RE TALKING PLATONIC) isn’t a feeling. People act like it is, which is why so many people fall out of it. Love is commitment, serving, and choosing them every single day. It’s in your actions. Their entire story shows this. Even in the little things, like joel teaching her how to play guitar. But even in the greater things. Ellie keeping him alive all throughout winter. Sure, she needed him to get to the fireflies, but I think winter goes deeper than that. This is post-ranch argument. The ranch argument (and joel taking her back while they’re sitting above Jackson) and joel finding her with David are *their* moments. The moments when we see, okay, they are stuck together now. Even once they reach the fireflies, that’s not the end like we thought it would be a few hours ago. They’re going to stay together. Joel saying “I’m never gonna leave you again” to her in that silent moment immediately after he finds her after David is such a….I can’t think of the word oh my sjdhdjd but like their relationship is kind of solidified(?). Like their solidifying moment of “we’re with each other now”. And I think winter shows Ellie’s deep, profound love for Joel. Giving him literally all the warmth and as much as comfort as they could have (yes he was dying obviously just shhhh), probably nearly starving herself to make sure he got the majority of food and water she was able to get. She did that for weeks while he was knocking on deaths door. And joel, while she was just a job at the beginning, has still protected her from day one. And obviously his big moment of action that showed his love (no matter what way you view the end of the first game), was him saving her from the fireflies. He could not bear to lose another daughter, so he killed doctors and soldiers and everyone in his way to save her life. NOW to tie back to my first sentence in this whole spiel. I do believe they’ve both loved each other for years now, and I think it was always an understood thing between them. Joel’s love definitely never faltered through those last two years, though I’m sure you could argue Ellie’s did. Or didn’t, I don’t know. But it wasn’t something they ever said to each other. At the time of their porch conversation, tensions are very high. Ellie is still upset from the dance with Joel’s intervention, and she’s still giving him the cold shoulder bc of his lie. I think a lot of things go through his head when she says “I should’ve died in that hospital. My life would’ve fcking mattered. But you took that from me”. I think one thing is, and something I probably would not have controlled, is her saying her life would’ve mattered if she died for the cure. If I were joel I would’ve spewed about how she does matter and blah blah blah sappy stuff ynow. But he’s walking on thin ice here. He knows she feels betrayed. He knows they’re not how they used to be. He knows he can’t just say anything because he may upset her more, and that’s at the top of his list of thing he does not want to do. And so he waits a minute and tries to collect his thoughts and what he wants to tell her. He thinks of something that, while it combats everything she just said to him, also holds a lot of weight of their relationship and why he did what he did. I genuinely think that him saying this is just “I love you” in its purest, most raw, emotional, profound (I’ve said this like 7 times im sorry it just f i t s) form. If he said “I love you too much to let you die”, that would’ve scared her off. But he gave her something that she needed to hear and to start to understand why he did it and how he STILL feels, even after everything. And sometimes I wonder if the “I would do it all over again” refers to just the hospital, or their entire journey as a whole. Either way, I think it still tells her enough.

-And so she tells him she doesn’t think she’ll be able to forgive him and it BREAKS him. The thought of losing her, or not so much losing her, but never getting their relationship back to birthday level camping trip highs, kills him. His breath is shaky immediately. But then she tells him, maybe she could forgive him. But not that she could, but that she’d LIKE to try. She WANTS to get back to that birthday level camping trip high of the relationship they used to have. As hurt as she is, she misses it. He’s (I believe, personally) the most important person in her life, even if at this point. She wants to get back there as much as he does. And he starts to break more. Because now, there’s a chance, though incredibly small, that he COULD get her back. And that is more than enough. It could take years, but he’s happy with it. He’s thrilled to know that, even after everything, she is willing to try. Can you imagine early tlou2 if it were different and we got to see a cutscene of Ellie asking joel if he wanted to watch Curtis and Viper 2 that night? The smile that would’ve come to his face?

ALSO I FORGOT TO GO WITH THE LAST CHUNK OF TEXT.., him singing future days to her I think is also such a big profession of love. They’ve been in Jackson a few months and they’re living a “normal” lil family father-daughter life now. Not out every day fighting for their life. They get to settle down. And obviously his attachment to ellie has been going on for a while, but them being like,, they’re glued together now. They’re WITH each other. Joel’s adopted her ok ive talked to Neil druckmann myself I know things. But joel signing this to her is just so incredibly special. He loves her so much. I literally sat in my bed last night and was full on sobbing bc the degree that his love goes for her is beyond my comprehension. Every time I think about I CANNOT wrap my head around it. It’s so insane to me. But he loves her so incredibly much. He got a second chance at fatherhood and refuses to lose ellie, under any circumstance as we’ve seen, even if the rest of the human race was on the line, he can’t lose her. Now obviously as I mentioned above, we never hear the “i love you” sentiment actually said between either of them, but we see it in their actions. All their actions throughout the games, even the little things. And I think what joel says on the porch is as much of an i love you as you can get, i think I’m singing to her is just as much as well. He could’ve sung ANY song he knew on guitar, but no he picked future days to show her how much he loves her. “If i ever were to lose you, I’d surely lose myself. I believe, cause I can see, our future days, days of you and me” (yes I cut some lines out) BUT LIKE???? GDKDHDK but not even just talking about the lyrics or the fact that they show exactly what joel is trying to say, it’s also that this is the song joel uses to introduce ellie to guitar. To introduce her to something he 1) promised he’d teach her and 2) it’s something he LOVES. it’s just so,?:?!&,)?:,;@($ i love their love I love their story I love the little things I love overthinking about them

Umm so I think we might be going into the same field but like i just started grad school a month ago and I'm struggling so fcking hard keeping up with all the work (my adhd meds are NOT doing the job i need them to be doing) and socially i have not clicked with ANYONE and I feel so intimidated and isolated and I know I stick out not talking to anyone bc EVERYONE in my section is always talking to someone and people have already started forming groups and made friends but I just dont know how to I guess??? Idk but I feel like im 8 years old again with no friends which is a bizarre fucking feeling to have at 23. But like its BAD and I can't even speak up in the classes that don't cold call and ask for volunteers even though I want to do well so badly bc I feel so fucking small amongst all these people. I just kind of completely shut down as soon as I walked into the first day of orientation and haven't recovered from that.

And like I'm so fucking scared to start working bc even though i took two years off from undergrad I'm so burnt out already and jumping straight into the corporate world seems terrifying for my mental health (and general health tbh) but like going into PI isn't really an option bc if I'm going to go through with this I NEED to be making money to make it worth it and I guess what I'm trying to ask is like does this shit actually get better??? bc I'm highkey spiraling and have been since I started school and I honestly don't know if I'd be better off dropping out and going back to teaching even though I'll be absolutely broke and living at home for the foreseeable future or if I should just stick it out and be able to afford to support my parents and fucking take my siblings to disneyland for the first time. Like i knew this was gonna be hard but I guess it's just hitting me actually being here how fucking miserable I am and just I dont know. I’m sure you know that this is the hardest year. It also has NO no NOOO bearing on your talent for the job. First thing they tell you at the job orientation is “nothing you learned in grad school will be useful here.” Shdjsh it’s a completely different thing that is muuuuuch more enjoyable than the boring ass stuff you are learning rn. For me it felt very much like year 1 is one program and years 2&3 are a totally different thing. Once you get your job during summer 1, all bets are off lmao. You just need to finish the thing. So really the pressure is only for 1 year. So that helps with the mindset of like “I only need to get to May.” In terms of getting the job, I have to be honest: they only care about your school. I had straight Bs and got like a major one. On the first group of the rank if you know what I mean. So go into knowing that you WILL get an offer and most likely many. I always tell people that getting into the school is the last real hurdle. Now, you just ride the wave. Once you get the job you will really feel like it’s done.

About the job itself, there is genuinely no better job out there. Yes it is a shit show in terms of commitment and amount of work but it is absolutely disproportionally well compensated. Like in a bizarre way. You will not get fired (unless you like assault a person etc). So you have this job kind of for life? It’s extremely secure. Do not get intimidated by it. It’s mostly you alone on your computer lmao it’s lit. You are so close to this DO NOT drop out. It is worth it. The money will change your family’s life. It will change your life for ever. Even if you leave at one point.

You are the same age I was and I get the vibe. It’s annoying but *none of it matters*. I just treat it like its drivers ed lmao. I’m there to be able to do the thing. I don’t care about yall wihdishshs. Speaking in class is meaningless and getting it wrong is like whatever. Do you care when ppl get it wrong? I barely notice it. So I think shifting your mindset from “this is undergrad 2.0” to “this is a prep course I am in and out of here” really helped me. I felt very alone during year 1. But as soon as year 2 starts everyone gets shuffled around so that cliquey feeling goes away massively.

You could hear the quick sounds of Thomas Shelby’s footsteps behind you, echoing with the loud chorus of the continuous rain that fell on the ground, they were hot on your heels as you begin to walk faster towards your flat that was, thankfully, you thought, very nearby.

“Not another word Tommy Shelby.” You spat, resentful.

Snatching the house keys roughly from your purse, you jammed them mercilessly into the door lock all the while muttering vulgar curses under your breath at the man that was catching up behind you.

You strode in just in time to slam the door at his face, making the flat tremble. You shook your fist at the door and took the chance to make yourself comfortable, changing out of your wet clothes and drying yourself off as you hear Tommy sigh from the other side.

Today was your birthday.

You were going to celebrate it with none other than the all-famous Peaky Blinder: Tommy Shelby, who was also, frankly speaking, the love of your life. Although apparently, a while ago, celebrating a birthday had meant being stood up for an hour by him without warning and then, to make it worse, appearing later with a lady that you’ve never seen before hung on his arm, smiling and laughing.

You had immediately caught his eye hurt and angry. Hurriedly paying for the drink that you had drunk in waiting for the sorry man you walk out smoothly past in at a quick pace.

So here are the both of you now.

You knew it was childish, but screw it, he deserved it.

You open the door reluctantly and watch him walk in slowly, you face him with your arms crossed, frowning. He looks at you as you glare into his eyes, still fuming. He takes your hand gently, unfolding your arms and sits you down next to him on your small couch.

“I’m sorry.” He utters, looking down at your hand and gently grazing his thumb over your knuckles

You slap him limply across the face, it was hard enough to create a sound at least, as it should be. “Did you know it was my birthday Thomas?” You lifted a brow, your anger now fully replaced by sadness.” Hmm?”

He sighs, solemnly.” You know i do.”

“Really? Because I was given the impression that you didnt”

“She was with John,” he explained further patiently.” He asked me to accompany her until he came.”

“You were supposed to accompany me Thomas.” You argued.” I waited for you an hour.”

He goes silent and you raise your brow high in annoyance when you see the hint of a smile on his face.

”What?”

“Turn around.” He instructed gently

“Tommy…” You started, suspicious and feel your anger rise again in annoyance at the thought of not being taken seriously.” Wipe that smile off your face or I swear I’ll smack you.”

“I am taking you seriously.’ he replies solemnly, but the small smile on his face not leaving,” and right now I’m asking you to, please, turn around.”

You narrow your eyes at him and turn, slowly and cautiously. You hear him rustle for something in his coat and a gasp escaped your mouth as you suddenly feel something cool and thin wrap around your neck.

“Happy birthday love.”

Your eyes widened as you look down to see a magnificent, gleaming diamond necklace set lightly on your neck. The intricate pieces of the precious gemstone were all set perfectly as it grew and varied in its size all in a neat row.

“Tommy…” you stammered, shocked as you admired the gleaming row of diamonds on your chest.” Tommy, when—where did you get this?”

“London.”

“London??”

“Wasn’t going to make it in time when I called them.” He explains as he gently hugs you from behind, putting its velvet box on the closest surface.” I didn’t think it would take so long so.” he shrugs.”Decided to get it on my own before meeting you.”

so ive been playing Cinderella Phenomenon for these past few days.....I'm glad I played that game in correct order—Rod, Karma, Rumpel, Waltz, then Fritz—because it didn't provide me much spoilers for the next route i was going to play.

so first is Rod. that little shit istg i hate him lmaooo. i mean i love him but if i compared him to the other men you have to romance, he's the guy i dislike the most. that's mainly because he's too cold towards Lucette tho he has every right to be lmaoo.

goodness i love Karma's curse. his curse is my favorite. i didn't expect his curse to turn out to be like that it literally affected my expectations for Rumpel's curse bcos he's the route i went for right after Karma's. also, im stupid because i thought he had the Sleeping Beauty fairytale curse. apparently not because i forgot that roses played a bigger part in Beauty and the Beast lmaoo

From Rumpel's route onwards, everything just got worse. the story went deeper and darker lmao. i also disliked Rumpel because he's that stereotypical character with a flirty personality. but I felt bad for the poor guy when we got to slowly discover more of his memories. also, Parfait died in this route so i thought this was the route i hated the most when i finished playing it.....but apparently i was wrong at the time—

WALTZ'S ROUTE. okay i was excited for him because Peter Pan was my favorite story growing up. however, i wasn't able to focus much on the romance here bcos we got Lucette's mother getting revived by a bitch called Mythros (i fcking HATE that man). also, Lucette gets to be able to actually communicate with her father here so love that for her. also, i get to discover that Varg is actually Fritz and that MESSED me up because Fritz is my favorite and i was going to save his route for the last.

FINALLY FRITZ' ROUTE. BITCH I HAVE A WHOLE THREAD OF MY REACTIONS IN MY PRIV TWITTER ACC. i cursed a lot in this route. i also felt bad for Fritz because idk if it's just me but it felt as if he was mostly absent in his own route lmao. apart from that, in the previous routes, it's always been hinted that he dies (which means Varg takes over his body and he just disappears). also, when he's confused that he has a curse, i already KNEW that his father let Mythros curse him without him knowing. AND OH GOD FRITZ IS LIKE THE 707 OF THIS GAME. he's in love with Lucette in every route and that man pines for her from the very start. this route is the most intense out of everyone else's. no one was safe from pain in this route, even me. as much as Varg annoyed the shit out of me, the scene where he sacrificed himself was heartbreaking to me. bitch i know he just got affected with Fritz's feelings towards Lucette BUT HIS LINE HURT SO MUCH—

they’ll get you to learn from the basics again? just have you stand and do easy slow movements

when you start to get the hang of it they teach you how to go a little faster

they skate next to you, close but far enough you’re not tempted to hold onto them 

Kaeya keeps a close eye on your stance while Childe is always ready to break your fall

but you do fall, because it’s just part of learning and Childe would literally drop down with you to catch you 

you’re apologising because he has to do this every time but he tells you it’s fine and he’s having a lot of fun  

occasionally Kaeya falls with you guys too “I don’t want you two to feel embarrassed” but really he just wants to join in on the fun

when you eventually get the basics, can skate decent and know how to turn and stuff and you’re like super happy and excited and you’re just skating around them?

to put things lightly, minho was the ace of your entire guard

like he was better than anyone …at everything

so originally he was on (your father) the king’s immediate guard

he was nothing but professional and saved the king too many times to count even from like stepping on rocks idk 

when you turned like 17 and had to do more public appearances obv u were in a lot more danger so ur father jumped at having minho reassigned to u as the head of your personal guard “nothing but the best for his child”

the first time you met him… he only nodded or said yes or no to everything u asked him n ur jus like ok not much of a talker that’s not so bad ig haha ʕʘ‿ʘʔ

he was so quiet and “polite” for months despite you constantly trying to get something out of him

ur other guards always tried not to laugh bc if only u knew he had like two friends and was generally a pretty serious guy

but one day there was a festival in your kingdom’s central city so obv you had to make an appearance which u were very excited abt bc you only get to go into town like twice a year and THIS was one of those times

being “of age” and that much closer to taking the throne you might as well have painted a big red target on your head to signal people against the throne

everything was going fine, everyone was having fun and you decided to visit some of the booths and musicians around the square

minho was already suspicious of the situation and tightens the rest of your guard without u evenn rlly noticing but like

just as you turned to show these cute little candies to minho to maybe get a reaction for once -

the second he looks at you, someone moves to grab you but the flash of a knife in his other hand causes minho to jump immediately into action

the festivities were kind of killed for u after that bc you and your family were rushed back home which u might’ve been more sad abt if u werent in so much shock :<

obv minho was the one to escort you back but like all he said was “you’re okay?” and after u dumbly nodded with wide eyes he walked with you but kept a hand around your shoulder

no one really talked after that which wasn’t unusual for him but in his mind he was rlly like

he started to realize how much he had gotten used to your smile and your little jokes and the way you sometimes tripped on the corners of rugs. and he thought maybe it was a good thing you guys didnt have many interactions lately because he was way too attached

you on the other hand, couldnt even rlly complain about having to stay inside so much bc you had everything you needed and- you knew it was for ur safety but- it wassss kind of suffocating at times

u tried sneaking out at first ((just to the garden!!)) which obviously was a bad idea bc it’s impossible to get past minhos fcking hawk eyes lmao

he STILL didnt say anything like he would just follow right behind you

n like u kinda huffed but whatever honestly at least it was just him and not 15 other guards like everyone acted like you needed

plus it was somewhat comforting to have someone so solid around even if he never talked smh

one night you sat near the little pond and tried to calm your mind by watching how the moonlight rippled in the water

you can feel him behind you so u just turn around and look at him ignoring how he was already looking at you

 “would you at least sit with me?”

he kind of hesitates bc …what if someone tried to come up behind you? but with the sad look on your face he cant help but give in and sits on the stone bench at the opposite end of you

it becomes actually somewhat peaceful until you just decide to ask everything you’ve been wondering n u just blurt out-

“would it kill you to talk with me once in a while? i mean, talk like a normal person and not a machine? i dont bite i promise..”

he furrows his brow bc he’s shocked you cared at all and also he doesnt rlly know how to respond without being like “its not really in my job description to make conversation” but he honestly just thought you were being talkative out of niceties.

 before he could even form a sentence you continued,

“i mean- i’m always trying to get your attention. i dont get to meet many people for obvious reasons but my guards are the closest people to me-literally, and i dont want there to be a big gap between us just because of my status..”

he cuts you off before you ramble yourself to death 

“i didn’t know you were this troubled by it… i just take my job very seriously and i dont want to risk anyone’s safety for the sake of conversation”

u almost roll ur eyes but not wanting to be rude ur just like “even at home? i know you’re serious about your duties, believe me, i just… i get lonely.”

smthing inside him literally breakkkssss when you say that like u are such a pure and sweet person that deserves to have all the love and friends and fun in the world so he just gets quiet for a second and looks down

“im sorry.” he said it so softly you almost didnt hear him “i’ll be there for you more- if thats what you need. im essentially in charge of your safety and care and i’ll do anything to fulfill that responsibility.”

well this was good right? so why did you still feel unsatisfied?

you cut yourself off before talking too much again

you had to admit to yourself you had developed a bit of a liking for minho, not just because he was probably the most handsome person in your kingdom, not even just because he saved your life, but he had really been a pillar of security in your life and you respected his loyalty and ambition.

he was more than admirable and everything you wanted as a standard for your kingdom

sometimes you let your mind wander to him getting on one knee and leading alongside you..

no, now youre getting sidetracked and delusional and he can practically hear the gears turning in your head so he stands up and reaches his hand out for you to grab 

“of course you’re more than a responsibility to me, come on, lets go inside it’s getting cold.’

taking his hand and realizing the conversation was over, you moved to link arms instead  as he walked you all the way to your bedroom door 

u slept a lot better that night 

from that point on you could not get rid of minho 

like everyone was borderline uncomfortable with how jarring his change in attitude was 

like he was constantly behind you looking right over your shoulder or grabbing your arm to stop you from bumping into things

even when he wasnt technically on duty he had taken it upon himself to give you little lessons in archery and even some defensive moves to help you protect yourself in case someone wasnt fast enough to help you 

your tried not to get flustered every time he adjusted your form and the way you could feel his breath behind your ear

or the head pats when he walked you to your room at night

or his hand on your back when you guys would take walks in the garden

honestly it did not take long until one night you were sat next to your pond and after some comfortable small talk you noticed how close his face was to yours

but he noticed you didn’t pull away even as he leaned in closer and finally just kissed you

when he pulled away and saw your eyes still closed and how soft you looked his heart almost exploded

even tho you were uncertain abt the situation as well you knew you had grown a little too fond and dependent on minho that you would do anything to make it work

luckily an arranged marriage was not required for you so that wasnt really the issue, but falling in love with someone not at all royal..? it was a daunting thought how the idea would be perceived 

you wouldnt have said anything if you both weren’t completely sure of your feelings;  but you really could not imagine being content or safe spending your life with anyone else so you mustered up the courage to ask the king and queen…

when you brought it up to your parents they looked pretty concerned
