The real hero of 90s Indonesian activism were labors, not college student, yet nowadays college student demonstration is romanticized to portray that they're the true hope of the country. I am not diminishing activism in campuses but fascinated by how right now labor strikes are viewed as annoying because "they cause traffic jam" when labors have been carrying Indonesia's back
