Title: Mentor Tim
It was meant to be a simple mission.
Is what Red Robin was told, when he was summoned to the watchtower, and asked to intervene on a mission gone wrong, a mission that was meant to be handled by a bunch of teenagers, and while Tim wasn’t much of a fan of the justice league (maybe he was still salty about the whole not believing Bruce was alive thing, which was years ago, but his therapist said it was healthy to admit how you feel about things and people, so yeah he was still salty) and preferred taking on missions assigned from the Titans, he couldn’t not agree to the mission when he heard of the team that was assigned.
Young Justice.
Tim wasn’t aware there was even a Young Justice team still operational, as the hero community kept growing so has the number of sidekicks, he assumed all teens and sidekicks became teen titans, but then why would anyone dump their kids in Young Justice? With the team’s… eccentric reputation, Tim doubted it would ever be operational again.
That was until he read their files himself.

Those were probably the driest files Tim’s ever read, he knows supervillains with files less vague than these, so he had to do more research himself, reading into more personal details about each member it wasn’t hard to realise that each kid had their own issues, issues apparently no one was interested in dealing with, because the kids had no official mentor, they had been trained for some time from different leaguers, but that’s it.
Black canary has been working with them for some time now, for hand to hand combat, and as a licensed therapist, but there’s only so much she can do for those kids, seeing as most of them had been mistreated their whole lives, mostly by adults, it wouldn’t be surprising for them to be mistrustful.
That’s how Tim found himself, on a jet (that may or may not be the batjet, just don’t tell Bruce), headed to help those kids with their mission.
Once he arrived at the warehouse, he observed the situation from above, through a skylight, and watched as disaster unfolded right before his eyes. The kids were incredibly uncoordinated, some were arguing amongst themselves, while others seemed as though they had no understanding of the word teamwork, just when the goons they were meant to be fighting began to get the upper hand, did Tim join the fight.
His appearance halted most, if not all movement from both sides of the fight, he used that to his advantage and struck the men, taking them down one by one, as he shouted commands for the young teens to follow. Once the young heroes realised he wasn’t a threat, they took action almost immediately, following through on his instructions religiously.
As the last goon was zip-tied, Red Robin was approached by one of the teens, Surge (Mateo).
“Uhh.. Red Robin, ..sir?” Asked the boy
“Yes, Surge?”
“W-what are you doing here?”
“I was asked by the justice league to intervene on your mission, seeing as you weren’t able to complete it yourselves.” Red Robin replied Non-condescendingly.
Blaze (Amber) scoffed and said “As if the Justice League cared.”
Red Robin’s attention was turned to her as he spoke “What do you mean by that?”
As if opening a can of soda that’s been shaken too much, she spoke with relentless fury “Well if they cared, really cared they’d show it, wouldn’t they!? They’re not even pretending to care at this point! Heck the only leaguer we talk to regularly is Black Canary, but that’s for hand to hand and therapy, other than that no one comes around unless they have to, and even when they do, they don’t even bother hiding the fact that they’d rather be anywhere else if it meant they wouldn’t have to deal with us!” By the end of her tirade, she was trembling, with hatred, anger and…hurt..
“You’re right” the words left his mouth before his mind even registered he was speaking, not that his words weren’t true.
( The scene before him, of a group of children that felt abandoned, neglected and lonely, came from a very familiar play )
The atmosphere shifted as all eyes landed on Red Robin, as he spoke, he knew they were listening to his words ( it wasn’t everyday that someone actually understood you, as a teenager, let alone an adult ), “You’re right, the Justice League, has wronged, mistreated and neglected you, in more ways than just training, they’ve failed to acknowledge your presence, despite your need of proper guidance” no one spoke so he continued, “That is a mistake on their end, no yours, and so, it shouldn’t be you who suffers in the end. That wouldn’t be fair to you” silence still echoed as no one dared interrupt him, “I will bring this up with the league as soon as I return to the Watchtower.” (Is it just him or did he sound a little bit ‘adulty’? His therapist would be so proud).
His eyes soften and so did his voice as he took in the sight of the tired worn out teenagers, before him, “But for now I should take you all back to your headquarters, you seem like you need you need a nice hot meal, a warm shower and a good nights sleep, you’ve sure as hell earned it”. The kids seemed taken aback by his suggestion, as if they hadn’t expected him to suggest what he did, but none of them objected. Void (peter), spoke, “The Justice League sent us an automated jet, to get us here”, he was rubbing the back of his neck with his hands, “We don’t really know how to get back...?" He added awkwardly. “No worries, my jet is big enough to fit all of you just fine” said Tim, smugly. “Is that so? Is your jet that big?” Ronin (Keith), asked curious. “That depends, have any of you seen a Bat-jet before?”, Tim swore he could see stars in their -masked- eyes.
———————————
Mount Justice -apparently their base of operations- is in mint condition, thankfully (he was going to have words with the league if it wasn’t), looking around it’s obvious the kids haven’t been comfortable enough to mess around with the place (he’ll have to change that).
In a way it’s quite nostalgic, to walk around in his old h.q., though there’s still a few differences compared to back then, Like the brood of ducklings kids that are currently staring at him. “So.. are you guys gonna order something, or does one of you know how to cook?” Asked Tim, “Some of us can cook just fine, but we’re too tired to do so, sir” Magus (Nickolas) spoke, evidently wary in the presence of an adult, but still attempting to be polite.
“Y’know I could just order something for you guys.”, suggested Tim, “No, no need we can order for ourselves just fine.” replied Iron knight (Leonard), “I insist. Tell me what you’re in the mood for, pastas, burgers, pizza?” Once he noticed them perk up at the mention of pizza, he began to scroll through the numbers on his phone, searching for that one pizza place he liked as a teen (the one he used to order from, for the team, man he missed those idiots, he should reach out to them soon).
“Are you sure, sir? There’s no need for you to order for us.” Questioned Ghost (Sofia), “Yes, I’m sure, what toppings do you guys want?”, they suggested he order only one pizza with no toppings, which he immediately shut down, and even threatened to choose the toppings himself (“Do you want me to put pineapples on your pizza’s? Don’t test me, now choose.”), once almost everyone chose the topping for their own pizza, he turned to the only occupant of the room that hadn’t spoken, “And what about you, Whisper, what do you want?”, the girl in question -who had been observing him, silently for quite some time now, is she assessing whether or not he’s a threat?- Peter spoke for her “Uhh.. She can’t talk, she’s mute..”, “Black Canary’s brought her a few teachers for a while, but she didn’t like them much, so she stopped showing up to lessons after a while.” Mateo added.
The hesitant-comfortable atmosphere they’ve had for some time now almost broke, as all the teens looked to him, as if gaging his reaction, all in defensive stances (Tim had to hand it to them, for being willing to defend their teammate, against someone who was probably way out of their league), calmly, he spoke “No worries, I know a bit of sign myself”, “Though, I am a bit rusty” he added, bashfully.
Hesitantly, Amara lifted her hand to finger spell ‘C h e s e’, “Oh, just cheese, sure.” said Tim, the once tense atmosphere returned to it’s semi-calmness, as the teens sighed in relief, (seriously, what did they expect him to do, judge her?).
———————————
Tim stayed with the team, up until the food arrived, they were all lounging in the ‘living room’ (it was just a big circular area, that connected all the rooms together, that you had to pass to enter a bedroom, it had couches and sofas), Tim observed the teens, as they helped themselves, with their pizzas, some even opted to shed a few items of clothing, while others, changed out of their costumes completely, politely they began a bit of small talk to pass the time as they waited the foods arrival, at some point the topic of hero’s came up, which then somehow led to a very heated discussion as to which hero could take down who.
Tim -Red Robin at the moment- who had spent an ungodly amount of time analysing various hero’s, old and new, their fighting styles, their abilities, strengths and weaknesses, and has written contingencies for most, if not all of them, was more than happy to share his findings. Especially since they seemed so interested in the topic, and whatever Tim -Red Robin- had to say about the heroes? Well, Who was he to deny their curiosity.
He knew he made the right call, when it got the kids comfortable in his presence.
(Was he gossiping with a bunch of teens over heroes who are basically his coworkers? Yes. Yes, he was.)
“No way, Wonder Woman, is the best superhero, period” said Peter.
“Really? You think she’d win against Superman?” Asked Leonard, curiously.
“The Superman?” Questioned Sofia.
“What say you, Red?” Asked Keith.
Red Robin, or “Red” as they’ve taken to calling him, answered, “I’m with Void on this one.” Tim didn’t miss the way he basically preened at his words, “I’m pretty sure she can kick any leaguers ass, any day.”
“Even Batman..?” Asked Mateo, in a hushed tone, as if just speaking his name would summon him (it was amusing, but understandable).
“What do you think his contingencies are for?” Replied Red, with a Smirk.
“Isn’t he.. I don’t know, your boss or something” Asked Nickolas, confused.
“I like to think I’m my own boss, thanks” replied Tim. (He may, or may not get bullied into visiting the manor, regularly, by various members of the Batfamily, no one needs to know that, though.)
“What?” Asked Tim, when he noticed the sudden silence.
“Huh.” Said Amber, as if a realization had just dawned on her “You’re actually way cooler than I thought you’d be.”.
“Gee, thanks.” Deadpanned Tim.
“She is not wrong.” At Tim’s raised eyebrow, Keith elaborated, “All the leaguers we have met so far were not interested in our wellbeing.”
“Yeah, they’d just complete whatever task they have, with us, and just leave.” Nickolas added.
“I don’t remember if any of them ever asked if we were tired or hungry. Unlike you.” Sofia continued.
“None of them ever stayed long enough to even speak to us.” said Leonard.
“And when they did, we couldn’t have normal conversations like this one, all we did was have a mission debriefing.” spoke Peter.
“Or we wouldn’t say anything at all, incase we say something.. offensive in any way.” Finished Amber.
Amara simply nodded.
Tim felt his blood boil (is that a thing? Whatever, it didn’t matter as long as it described just how furious he was) “Is that so..?”
Tim kept processing their words, even as they transgressed onto another subject, though, he knew he couldn’t stay long, so he bid them farewell, to head back to the Watchtower -via zeta tube- and tried not to let their disappointment affect him (with what he has in mind, for them, their dissatisfaction with his departure won’t last long), he had a few senior league members to speak with about an adoption a mentorship request.
And he couldn’t wait a second longer.
———————————
It took some getting used to, Tim will have to admit, for him and the team (his team now), to get used to their new relationship, as mentor and mentees.
The sudden announcement of his now mentorship over the teens, was made only a week after his hangout stay with the team, (it would have taken longer, had he not urged the senior league members to officiate it, and if he made a few, mild, harmless threats, to insure the job was done properly, Batman would be blamed for teaching him how to in-list fear), it did surprise the teens a bit, still, they took the news with stride (whether that was because they’ve never had an official mentor before, and were eager, or that they genuinely liked Red Robin, Tim isn’t sure).
Tim would like to point out, that they’ve made significant progress, in the last two months they’ve been working together.
They’re actually brilliant students, fast learners, always ready to try out a new training program, any chance they get, they soak up any knowledge he offers, like little sponges. They try to follow his teachings without fail, and even trust him when on missions, enough to let him lead them. They look to him for guidance when they need him, and he tries to always be there, to help (and maybe that’s what strengthened their new bond, the fact that he tries to be there, especially when they need him).
It wasn’t always as easy, not in the beginning, no. They liked him, Tim was sure of that, but liking someone doesn’t necessarily mean you trust them. Trust was something meant to be earned, not given. Tim had earned the right, to be trusted.
They trust him enough to act themselves around him. And just as they had gotten comfortable with him, did he realize why they were placed in YJ. He knew deep down, the reason stemmed from their traumatic backstories, strange powers, and ‘behavioral issues’ (talking back, is not a behavioral issue, fuck whoever wrote that in Amber’s file), Seeing as the team’s former members were regarded as “nutcases” by the media, it was a no wonder they would be placed there in the first place. Not that the kids tried proving anyone wrong (“Why waste time trying to show someone who you are, when they have already made up their mind, about you?” Those were the wise words of Keith, a young boy forced to mature faster than most teenagers, Tim could relate).
They were skilled, skilled boys and girls, using their gifts for good, to do good, and be good. They shouldn’t be criticized for being good. Just because they were.. creative with their skills, did he mention that? They’re incredibly creative with their skills, the stunts they pull would bring his old teams shenanigans to shame:
“How did you guys manage to burn and flood a building at the same time?!-”
Sometimes, he couldn’t help but wonder, why?
“-Is- is the building crumbling?! How did you do that?-”
Other times, he can’t help but wonder, how?
“Why in the world did you guys think this was a good idea, Surge?”
“Do you remember that one mission we did last week, when we discovered a secret lab, full of animals that were being experimented on?” Questioned, the boy.
“Yes, I do. But, what does that have to do with this?”
“We found out who owned that lab.”
The building -A Lexcorp building, mind you- blows up, promptly, after his admission.
“Void! I thought we told you to be careful with those!” admonishes, Blaze.
“My Bad!” apologized, Void.
“Ahh, I see, carry on.” Dismissed, Red Robin.
What? Yeah, so maybe he isn’t any better than they are, and he is might be the adult that’s in charge of them, But, who is he to stop them from doing their jobs, as hero’s?
And they’re applying what he taught them, in the field?
He couldn’t be any prouder.
“What’s going on here?” A new voice, interrupted his and Surge’s conversation. A new but familiar voice, actually. One that belongs to a certain Kryptonian.
Red Robin, and his students, that came up to him, not long after the building Burst to flames, turned around to witness Superboy (Conner Kent) descent from the skies, along with Wondergirl (Cassandra Sandmark), followed by Impulse (Bartholomew Allen) on land.
“Hey Rob!” Bart waved his hand so quickly, it fazed.
“Really, Rob, we leave you alone, to go on a mission off-planet, only to find out you’ve become a teacher?” Chides Cassie, fondly. Then, she states “And here I thought we were friends” putting a hand on her chest, were her heart is, feigning hurt.
“And look, he’s already causing trouble with them.” Conner points out, Bart adds “It’s like we don’t even know you anymore.” while wiping away a fake tear.
“Haha, very funny, you guys.” Deadpans Tim, though secretly amused.
“If you’re done with the theatrics.” He sends them a pointed look, before gesturing to the.. starstruck kids next to him (?), “Allow me to introduce to you, the newest Young Justice members.”
This was probably going to be the beginning of something beautiful, or incredibly disastrous… meh, he’ll let the universe decide, and just go with the flow.

Dying birds (Reverse robins Au)
(storyline part one)
Damian Wayne's childhood was unconventional, to say the least, raised by assassins only to be dropped off at his father's doorstep for his own protection. Consumed not only by wrath but the overwhelming pressure to please his grandfather, Damian was headed down a dark path of vengeance and blood. A path his father Bruce Wayne, was all too familiar with his father. Bruce took him on as a sidekick hoping to instill the values of justice and human life. Bruce becomes a more lighthearted Batman for Damian's sake.
After getting settled into his new role Damian was introduced to many other heroes and sidekicks, one of them being a redhead speedster. Wally West aka Kid Flash, may be the most annoying person Damian has ever met and yet he somehow he was also Damian's best friend.
As Damian grew older he found himself constantly butting heads with his father leading him to move out. A life away from Bruce and the constant fight had done him good Damina even considered doing away with the capes and mask sadly Gotham had other plans for him. Damian had been walking home from the store when he witnessed what appeared to be a mugging. He stepped in and things went south real quickly as he was shot by an unknown marksman. Bruce found his son bleeding out in the streets, a war on Gotham had begun. Damian woke up in a Gotham hospital unable to move his legs. Things were revealed about the mugging turning him bitter toward Bruce. Damian left Gotham altogether and Bruce became a harsher Batman
Tim Drake a mistreated child with a knack for photography, the next sidekick. Bruce would find this kid standing in the middle of his cave. Batman was on the edge of going rogue, Tim could let that happen. He pushed into taking the mantel out of necessity
The start of Tim's vigilante career was spent trying to get Bruce and Damian to talk to each other. For all his efforts he was treated horribly, Bruce's training was brutal and Damian treated Him harshly. For a while, Damian blamed Tim for taking his place but the truth was Damian thinks of himself as broken and sees what he could have been in Tim. Tim eventually does break through to Damian and the older boy comes back to Gotham taking up an oracle-type role.
Damian starts to see Tim as a little brother and enjoys having him around. Not long after Tim meets a ninja girl named Stephine Brown. Through a series of events convinces her to join the bats. Taking her under his wing Tim trains her to take his place so he can leave for a secret project called Titan. Only Steph and Damian know about this project.
One day on patrol Tim tries to help the wrong person causing him to get shot in the stomach. Tim gets away but he's bleeding heavily. Damian's on the comms trying to help him but everyone is to far away. Tim stumbles through the street before sliding down against a pole. In his last minutes, he talks to Damian and Bruce about how grateful he was to be a bat and tells Stephine how much he appreciated her friendship and how proud he was of her. Damian is on the comms the entire time helpless as his brother dies, his last words I love you guys.

Commenter: “Oh yeah, I forgot they don’t bring Tim out unless it’s pride month”
Have you lost your fucking mind? Sure Tim doesn’t get adapted a lot (which is mainly just by virtue of being 1. Third Robin and 2. His hype from being new being relegated to the 90’s and early 2000’s now that Damian exists), but in no way is Tim not the comics’ favorite goddamn Robin after Dick. Let’s not sit up here and act like he’s some mistreated and underrepresented character because he’s queer (something that’s not even been canon for five years yet) when most of these Batman properties/adaptations outside of the comics came out before 2020.
Tim Drake isn’t some underrepresented gem, he’s everybody’s favorite (including DC’s) get a fucking grip y’all.

what's your favorite hc for tim?
there's this one headcanon that i can't figure out how to incorporate into a fic and it has to do with tim's family!!! it's also surprisingly not porn related but i mentioned it in this tweet.
i am obsessed with tim's family dynamics because we so rarely see them!! and i'm also sort of tired of this popularized idea that tim was some horribly mistreated and abused child when it couldn't be further from the truth. but it's so deeply ingrained in fanon i've sort of accepted that i'm just going to be seeing it for forever.
basically, i love the idea of tim having normal family but soap opera levels of familial drama!!!! in one issue of robin when bernard meets tim's step mom he instantly gets the hots for tim and calls him the luckiest guy in the world for having a step mom like dana. he goes on to say how TIM is closer in age to her than his dad. with dana being maybe mid twenties and jack being mid 50s.
so if we assume jack is 55 when tim is 16 he most likely had tim at 39. a little middle aged but not bad. but i also imagine janet as having been in her 20s as well when she had tim.
why?
well jack clearly has a taste for younger women. specifically younger women who work for him (dana having been his hired physical therapist when he met her). and jack seems like the type of man who would not have waited until near 40 to get married etc.
so i like the idea that janet is his second marriage and tim is a child born from that marriage.
multiple families in the span of one lifetime is such great fuel for drama!!!! the one thing i absolutely adore in fics!!!!!!
tim having older half brothers that are in their 30s when he's 16!!! they're like legitimate adults with careers and jobs they got using jack's money from when they were still rich!!!
jack's will stated that he left everything to dana and tim!!! his half brothers showing up to contest it!!!
just every single cheesy soap opera plot point and that being tim's legitimate actual civilian life because if you actually read the robin comics so much of tim's life is trying to force him into a hollywood teen movie plot line but he refuses to engage.
it's hilarious!!

I think that Mark Waid didn't even want to make a Bruce and Damian book. Probably he prefers other character to work, especially because of the way he made Bruce to describe Damian's character.
Damian and Bruce's relationship has always been conflictive but there's a difference between showing conflicts and love for both parts and just showing conflict for one part and neglection for the other.
Just ignoring, isolating, talking to his son as an actual enemy and didn't look any concern about his state said enough about how much Waid doesn't know about Bruce's relationship with Damian. Bruce seems to be cold and not affective at all towards his own son.
He said that he knows Damian, but he never shows anything of that.
He described Damian in such a hateful way, even that this is not true, even that he should know that Damian is more than just negative traits.
Tumblr media
Even that this boy who is supposed to be impatient to replace him just told him a run before this:
Tumblr media
That dialogue of Bruce feels like something that have never read anything except the beginnings of their relationship, when Bruce was paranoic bitch who mistreat his son and tried to force his son to changed.
The problem is that neither Damian or Bruce are the same anymore, Damian learned how to be more empathic, sweet and understandable, he learned how to be himself and decide to take his own way. Bruce for other part, learn that his son is not a thread, he learned how to trust on Damian and that he is supposed to be a better father figure.
Batman and Robin 2011 is a whole run dedicated to them, to how they worked to be better in both senses but still, writters seems to not know about that. Even that is probably the most fundamental part of their relationship. It's so easy to read it, it's not even necessary to read the whole 40 issues, just 10 are enough to understand how both characters works as partners and as a father-son relationship.
I know I am just judging from the first issue and probably it could turn to be better, I understand that. Hell, almost every single Damian's run began with a bad impression but end up been good or great.
Damian is s complex character, so sometimes the first issue used to be complicated with the other person but it's because the whole base of his character is the development.
He started a complicated relationship with Dick, Damian being upset with Dick because he wasn't his father and Dick being tired of Damian and the mantle, but just look at them now, they came to anpoint were Dick was the first person to Damian to called him by his first name and his confident.
Same with every person in the batfamily, some of them more and some of them with less connections, but they eventually get along.
The problem is that this relationship already have their bases so it's unecessary to try to solve something that was already solved before.
The other problem is that the author doesn't seem to care about them since the beginning, it doesn't look like he cares for Damian and his relationship with his father, it looks more like Damian is just a tool more for the plot with the only ocasional use to calling out some Bruce's bullshit.
And then there is a problem to involved magical stuff in a place that it doesn't fit at all.
Batman can be so much and sometimes get involved in the magic world, but only in a way that he is supposed to be the outsider.
Zatanna is for far more powerful to be just a damnsel in distress, Tim Hunter is supposed to be a really strong magician.
Damian, aside of some kind of connection to the Al Ghuls and the lazarus pit, he is not really supposed to be a main character in the magic world.
It's like going to another country and expect to everyone obeys you.
This just shows how DC is forcing Batman in every single sense, which lead to how the people started getting tired of him.
Because Batman lore started messing with every single character outside of him and even with the characters that are related to him.
Nightwing should be allowed to have his own lore and no just reduced him to be always with Batman. Ssme with the rest of the family.
Damian should be allowed to be more than just his father and not just being the "son of", because Damian is his own character, he has his own moral conflictives, his own traits, his own friendships and more family than just him.
If authors can not understand that, if authors can not read to his stories, if authors can not understand his character. Then they should not write abput him involving someone's else.

One thing I used to really appreciat about the JayTim fandom is how so many of the authors loved Steph. But more and more of them are now crawling out of the woodwork to trash her.
I don't understand at all how you can gloss over all the ways writers have mistreated Jason but refuse to do it for Steph. Especially since Jason has literally tried to kill Tim twice, for no reason at all. Both instances were by writers who didn't give a shit about Jason and cared only about elevating Dick or Tim. Jason is also constantly made into a dumb thug whenever he gets near Tim, both preboot and reboot.
I love all the Batkids equally (Steph just a little more maybe) but can you please fucking understand that these stories are written by toxic white male nerds? In an industry that is still steeped in misogyny racism ableism and queerphobia? Because if you don't do that, and actively work to interrogate and unravel those biases in your fanwork, then you're just as complicit in their toxicity.
Also? Tim has for sure been completely trashed as a character ever since the reboot, but before that, for the entire length and breadth of Post-Crisis, he was the best and most consistently written DC Comics character ever. He was never in the hands of anyone who didn't love him, they always found the best writers for him, and everybody wanted the job, because Robin was consistently a best-selling series. You love Tim because he was loved, and characters were made OOC just to hurt him because they were expendable and unimportant to the writers.
Please try to be better than these assholes. You're free to play however you like in your personal sandbox, but the issues marginalized people face don't take a holiday while you do.

“Tim's made the most sense to me because he really did sort of drop off the face of the Earth once Damian showed up.”
So Tim being in dc Lego games and Batman Arkham city/knight as playable character, him in the young justice cartoon, live action titans show, and the just came out 70 dollars rpg Gotham Knights means jackshit to these writers?
Tim is still considered the second best Robin to causals while Damian is HEAVILY disliked by the dc fandom especially thanks to the Injustice games.
No one forgot about Tim, it just Dan Didio hate boner towards legacy characters like Tim caused issues.
as;dkjg yeah
and im like. RIGHT AFTER DAMIANS SOLO ENDED RIGHT BEFORE TIMS SOLO??????? they're trying to convince us that tim is being forgotten/mistreated?????
and like. i dont think didio even hated tim, he had it out for dick, but tim got it really easy in terms of legacy characters (and so did dick NGL he had enough fans to stop him from being killed off).
like cass has yet to regain her previous status from being character assassinated (in tim's comic).
but tim is being sidelined sure.

I hate that every time somebody honestly and seriously puts something in the tags about Barbara’s ableism and her treatment and editorials part in that people are always like “please let us enjoy something” “please stay out for our tag” why? Because you can’t have both worlds. You can’t openly talk about the ableism of a run and then the moment Dick and Barbara are shown kissing say how cute they are and not want anybody to see it. I don’t mean to start drama but I saw that comment in your post and the person has both been vocal about ableism but then so openly enjoys the ableist version of Barbara Gordon when she’s with Dick. It’s not okay.
oh, i hadn’t noticed that “please stay out of tags” and such was a recurring phrase said as the first time ever seeing it was on my post.
though i did take note of how views are so easily abandoned for a cute relationship moment. i understand that barbara was batgirl far longer than she was oracle though the amount of dickbabs media that happens only when she’s batgirl is overwhelming and continuing. while i truly get that dc probably just wants money and more attention for their most famous holder of the batgirl mantle or trying to relive the peak time period for dick and barbara’s relationship, the constant mistreatment of barbara and her current mantle is what it is; ableist. writers, editors and even fans disregarding who she has become to force her back into a more ‘convenient-to-write’ character is what it is; ableist. as anon said, it is not okay.
i would also like to mention that just today, i had spoken to a friend of mine who was arguing that ‘barbara should’ve never been oracle to begin with because she was so much more helpful as batgirl’. he asked “what does oracle actually do?” and admitted he felt that “batgirl should stay babs”. i believe whether some -- emphasis on some, i am not grouping all that disagree in the same category -- are willing to admit it or not, they think the same. he essentially believed that barbara should’ve stayed batgirl as it was ‘much more useful, better and cooler’ (verbatim). to break down each word, oracle’s helpfulness is completely subjective as is all heroes, which the same argument could be made for anyone. in which case i could argue ‘oh jason’s a better hero than bruce because he’s allowed himself to kill criminals before.’ my main point in all this being that she shouldn’t be crammed back into being batgirl just for some popularity points when they should be growing the identities of the current (or even past) batgirl successors as well as the importance of having barbara gordon stay oracle.
i am neither seeking drama or saying you cant enjoy dickbabs or barbara as batgirl. i, myself, have liked moments of dick and barbara’s relationship and even loved babs as batgirl however i find it most important to recognise and acknowledge that she has grown past that. like i’ve said in earlier posts, its the same as tim drake never fully leaving the robin mantle behind, or if nightwing never actually became nightwing and stayed batman’s sidekick. barbara gordon was batgirl, she is now oracle. failure to see that is ableist. stop trying to jam her back into the mantle of her past.

Okey, i’m out of words. The new Batfamily Webtoon is just the comfort shit i didn’t know I needed in my life. I actually read all six issues, and i loved all of them.
For a long time i have been confining myself to fanon works of the Batfam in order to find some good and fluffy interactions between the characters, expecially between Bruce and his kids. It’s not a secret that his relationship with his kids has been mostly portrayed as complicated. And the truth is, i have missed seeing him just being a dad.
On another hand, especially since the beginning of the new 52, i have felt like a lot of character have been mistreated and misused. First of all Steph and Cass, who it seems can be only used as supporting characters, which makes no sense. And Duke, how many times has he been excluded from the Batfam? Even Tim, being one of the most known Robin of all time, has been changed to the point that for some time i would even have difficulty recognising him.
And Barbara? DC truly made a mess with her with the reboot. I liked her as Batgirl, but loved her as Oracle. And the truth is that her disability is fundamental for her evolution into Oracle. That’s probably why i loved the third episode of the webtoon so much.
Now Damian, i won’t stand for some racist comments. Let’s be clear, Talia is everything but white, she’s Asian-Middle Eastern. Even though it’s true that Bruce has always been represented as white, that does not mean that Damian has to take after his complexion. Skin colour is a very complicated genetic trait and people with mixed heritage may look exactly like one parent(or the other) or as a mix of the two or even completely different.
However it remains impossible to deny that Damian is of Asian-Middle Eastern descent, he’s not entirely caucasian. The problem is that he has been mainly represented as white, as well as Talia. Just because some writers have chosen to “forget” their heritage and whitewash them it doesn’t mean their ancestry suddenly not exist.
What i’m trying to say is, however you represent Damian’s character, him being of asian-middle eastern ancestry will not change. So get over it and admit your racism🤷.
On a final note, seeing Alfred again broke my hearth😭.

So there’s one comic arc I hate.
In Tim’s Robin run, there’s a short arc I like to pretend didn’t happen right when Tim turns 16 where Bruce and Alfred do something heinously cruel to Tim. Alfred seems aware that it’s awful, but goes along with it anyway, and Bruce seems to genuinely think he’s “helping” Tim.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the brief “The Traitor” arc, Bruce sets up a... sort of “gauntlet” for Tim. Tim receives a message supposedly from the future of Alfred warning him about someone in the ranks who is going to turn traitor in the years to come, plunging Gotham into a deadly war between heroes and vigilantes. This sends Tim into a series of paranoid actions that culminates in him discovering... it was all a set up by Bruce to “train” him to... essentially, train Tim out of trusting that Batman is always right.
When Tim unmasks Alfred, Bruce tells him the truth. He tells him he’s PROUD of him... before telling him his mistake was trusting them.
I hate this arc. I think it’s a shitty thing to do, and a shitty way to portray Bruce, and a shitty way to portray Alfred, and it’s all around terrible.
But it’s a great Tim story, because it highlights Tim’s relationship to adults perfectly.
I’ve briefly mentioned Tim’s parentification, but this is perhaps the most obvious instance of Tim, the child, being the grown up in a room full of adults who are supposed to be his role models.
Tim absolutely takes Bruce to task for this! He tells him exactly how fucked up this plan was! Exactly what the repercussions were for Tim. He questions Bruce’s actions, his authority, he threatens to leave him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It reminds me of Cry of the Huntress, where Tim takes his biological father to task for also acting in a way that causes Tim harm, makes it seem like he doesn’t care about Tim.
Tim can seem like a pushover, but he has moments like this where he clearly knows when he’s being mistreated - he just tolerates it.
Tumblr media
And while Jack does apologize (for once, and potentially only about trying to ship him off to boarding school), Tim doesn’t ask him to. Tim was fully prepared to be the one to mend the bridge, apologize for his actions, and just... completely drops the accusations of child neglect. He puts the genie back in the bottle, and they pretend they never saw it.
Tumblr media
And he does the same with Bruce. He won’t ask for an apology, because he knows Bruce won’t give him one, and chooses to forgive him anyway.
As much as I DESPISE this comic for how it portrays Bruce and Alfred, it’s a strong demonstration of Tim’s relationship with abuse and abusers. He’s not naïve. He knows the way he’s been treated is wrong, but for one reason or another, it’s a cycle Tim in particular struggles to escape.
And that’s why I prefer GOOD BAT DAD, because BAD BAT DAD makes me sad. I would really rather watch ~our hero~ SAVE the child from the cycle of abuse, and give him a good home with a loving family, not make it worse.
Now that I’ve got that off my chest, I’m going to go re-read Wayne Family Adventures to water my crops and cleanse my soul.....

Tim might be my favourite Robin, but don’t think for a second that I just brush off when writers don’t do the other Robins justice. Just because I have a favourite doesn’t mean I want the others to be mistreated. They deserve good writing and portrayal too. They deserve depth and development and more than just one side as well. Dick is more than just cheerful optimism. Jay isn’t just violence and anger. Stephanie isn’t just impulsiveness. Damian isn’t just death, destruction and arrogance. It is possible to give them all good writing.
And I would, obviously, never ever think it’s okay to hate or bash someone for who they like or make that character worse than they are. Speaking as a Tim fan, I hate when people put all the blame on Damian for their rivalry. Tim can be a shithead too. Or when they say that Dick wanted to send him to Arkham, he never said that (though he could have handled the entire situation better, but that doesn’t make him a bad person, that makes him a grieving son too). Just.. stop the whole wishing bad things onto other characters to make your favourite character look better. It’s not good for anyone and let’s be honest, most characters are loved and interesting because they have good and bad sides.
Rambling over. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Ok salt ahead. Mostly Bustier salt. Also bio! Dad Bruce. Also Damian is older than Marinette in this AU.
Parent/teacher conferences at DuPont.
Tom and Sabine are out of the country due to a bakery contest or something. Caline Bustier forgets. She is waiting for the Dupain-Cheng’s in her class room, but they are late. When the door finally opens, she comes face-to-face with Bruce Wayne, who is standing next to Marinette.
Caline is suprised to see a stranger. She turns to Marinette and lets her disappointment show. She asks Marinette (in a condescending tone) where her parents are). Marinette is confused, she told Bustier last week that her parents were going to be out of the country and her biological father would be attending the conference.
Bruce is shocked at how this teacher is treating his daughter.
Bustier turns to Bruce. “Ok since Marinette dragged you here, you can stay, but Marinette I am very disappointed in you. I will be contacting your parents to set up another meeting. This behavior needs to be addressed.” Caline doesn’t ask for any identification, before launching into everything she deems wrong with Marinette. From resigning from the class rep position, to not dropping everything to help her classmates who are “too busy” to do it themselves, to not giving out free commissions and pasteries.
Bruce has knoticed how his daughter has been acting different. Less cheerful and more reserved. It’s like she has given up on something, fundamentally. . . Marinette. She has been acting like a moody Robin.
When Sabine called and asked him to watch Marinette while her and Tom were away he jumped at the chance. . . . . along with his sons.
He was determined to find out why his daughter was soooo batesque.
After listening to this woman he was horrified. This teacher blames a student for her parents not showing up to a meeting, when she was informed of their departure we’ll in advance, but simply forgets! Then scolds said student for hiring a fake parent. Then, without proof of identification, proceeds to give private information to the stranger she believes has no relationship with the student! She is also pushing his daughter into responsibilities that she has no obligation to perform, and encouraging others to take advantage of Marinette.
Bustier then turns to Bruce and starts scolding him. “How could you let yourself be hired by a child to pretend to be their parent?” She tells him that Marinette is a troubled girl. She needs to own up to her mistakes and face the consequences.
Bruce caught Marinette flinch and curl in on herself from the corner of his eye. He slammed his hands on the desk separating him and the teacher. “Marinette would you please step out of the room for a bit?” He asks her gently. She knows that look in his eyes and is out the door faster than you can say ‘spot on’. She is heading to the bakery when she sees her brothers in the courtyard.
Meanwhile Bruce is tearing Bustier apart. From how she treats her students, to how she can’t remember a simple note stating Marinette’s parent would be away and someone else would be at the meeting in their stead.
Bustier was pleased when the man in front of her sent Marinette away. She believed she got through to him and he would come clean. She is disappointed though when he starts to berate her for “mistreating” and “manipulating” Marinette. When there is a lull in his rants she interjects “well, since you’re not actually Marinette’s father this really isn’t any of your business.”
Bruce was struck dumb at this teacher. She just dismissed him as if she didn’t just give him enough information to destroy Marinette and/or her family. “Now if you excuse me I need to contact Marinette’s parents for a parent/teacher conference.” She said.
Bruce was colder than ice as he left the classroom. Before he exited the room he turned towards the teacher “you will be hearing from my lawyers”.
Bruce started the lawsuit as soon as he stepped out of the room. By the time he made it to the courtyard, his lawyers where finding more and more evidence of why Bustier should never be allowed to teach anyone. The suit would be done by the time Marinette goes to class next.
Bruce wanted to be there when the teacher got served, however he got caught up in a meeting, but he had his boys go and film everything and send it to him. He just never thought he would get more than the teacher’s reaction.
Tim and Jason were both videoing, they wanted to make sure they captured everything. Dick and Damian followed because someone had to keep their brothers from doing something stupid.
As their lawyer and they were walking up the stairs to Marinette’s classroom they could hear a teacher scolding a student. They looked into Marinette’s class and saw her teacher, the same teacher who they were suing, scolding marinette for hiring someone to pretend to be her dad. Her teacher was doing this infront of the entire class. Dick had to hold Damian back from doing something he would, most likely never regret, but marinette wouldn’t be happy about it.
Lila pipped up claiming to practically be adopted by Bruce. Stating how what Marinette did would anger them greatly, and how no matter how much Lila would beg them not to, they would sue her.
Lila: they absolutely hate liars. After all, that’s why Bruce’s parents were killed. Someone lied about them.
Just when the boys were going to burst through the door a bang made them stop. Marinette had sprung from her seat and tackled Lila. Marinette punched her, kicked her, did anything she could think of. How dare this little tramp lie about her grandparents. How dare she. Her father has never gotten over their deaths, she refused to stand by and let this two bit conwoman use her father’s pain to gain popularity.
The boys are suprised that their even tempered, sweetheart of a sister is . . . . this skilled at fighting.
Marinette’s classmates are trying to separate her and Lila, but they can’t get ahold of her, she is too slippery. The boys finally snapped out of their trance and quickly intervened. Damian picked his sister up and held her back. Dick was trying to calm her down. Tim and Jason where still recording everything. Once Mari was calm enough for Damian to take over, Dick spun around on the teacher. He ripped her apart. Why didn’t she try to help? Why did she humiliate a student by scolding them infront of their peers? Why do you let a liar go unpunished while his sister is constantly being reprimanded on things that aren’t her fault?
Bustier doesn’t know who these people are but they have some nerve busting into her class room and being rude. She is a great teacher.
Tim gets the class back in their seats, with the exception of Marinette, and then turns to their lawyer, who has been watching on in horror. Tim motions to Bustier and the lawyer clears their throat. “Caline Bustier you are being served.”
Bustier is shocked. Who would ever sue her. “What!? What for!”
“For mental abuse, child neglect, enabling” the lawyer continues on with the list.
Bruce pauses the video and lets out a sigh. It looks like he has a few more lawsuits to make.

People really have to stop using Cass as an excuse to hate on Steph.
The Batfamily was in a time of transition Dick became batman, Damian became Robin, Tim became Red Robin, etc. even if Steph hadn’t become Batgirl there was no way DC was going to continue with Cass as Batgirl during that period of time. The whole point of the Batman Reborn Era was a massive change in the Batfam.
Even without Batman Reborn DC was pretty much done with Cass as Batgirl from the moment they decided to cancel her solo which can be seen in the mess of her last arc Cass was already getting the shaft before Steph even came back from the dead!
The decision to replace Cass as Batgirl was one that happened during a time Steph was dead & there wasn’t even an idea to bring her back, people at DC were throwing ideas at the wall from making Charlie the new Batgirl to bringing back Babsgirl considering everything Steph being Cass's successor is the MOST respectful option when it comes to Cass because Steph is honestly the only person I can imagine Cass giving Batgirl to (and she did give Batgirl to her the Bruce thing in Road Home was a retcon)
Did Cass deserve better? Did she deserve her own solo & a chance to thrive as Black Bat? Yes! Of course she did but DC’s poor treatment of Cass started WAY before Steph was even back in the picture & anyway please don’t act like Steph herself didn’t get shafted & mistreated by DC for YEARS & YEARS with terrible treatment from the Batfam because Editorial couldn’t decide what to do with her, the lack of respect given to her & her time as Robin & of course how could I forget HER BRUTAL MURDER that had her being tortured for multiple issues, disrespected in her death & left her dead in every sense for nearly five years.
Steph was a GREAT successor to Cass & an AMAZING Batgirl & you’re disrespecting both Steph & Cass if you try & use Cass as an excuse to be shitty towards Steph

Maribat March 2021 - Half time
In my AO3 account I am also updating the 'A playboy billionaire, an ambassador and the secret love-child' title, and sometimes I add(ed) commentary why I write something the way I do.
Masterlist
From the last fifty days here is all the plus note:
First day
In Red Robin (2009-2011) comics Vicki Vale was a little bit too noisy for her own good, that's why I used her personal annoyance against Bruce Wayne in this story.
Third day
Vanessa Rios was an assistant district attorney in Gotham in the Robin (1993-2009) run. Here I am using her as the Wayne's legal team head. Tamara Fox, Lucius Fox's daughter, is friends with Tim Drake in Red Robin (2009-2011) comics and here too. Also she is an intern with the HR department who knows about the BatFam alteregos.
Fifth day
In the comics, Alfred always followed Bruce to his 'trips' (in 'Batman and Son' to London, 'Batman & Robin Annual' to an scavenger hunt, in 'Batman Inc.' to every country where they found representatives...) However because of Damian's unpredictable behaviour he stayed at the manor with the children in this story.
Sixth day
So Young Justice thing is a little complicated to me if I dare to say something about it. There was the 'Young Justice: The Secret' and its sequels. Then there were 'The New52' and 'DC Rebirth' era, plus the animation show. And they all are kind of okay..ish, furthermore I wanted to keep the principles like the main members (Tim Drake, Connor Kent, Bart Allen and Cassie Sandsmark), however I never liked their too childish behavior in some of the works (and the mixing with 'The Titans). So in this story, here, they are more adult..ish, but more relaxed and cheerful than 'The Titans' ever was (like in comics, not in the shows).
Eighth day
In the 'Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir' show they showed Lila as a manipulator without any remorse, which got me to think she has antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). I am not a doctor but I had some basic lesson in psychology, and I have a natural curiosity about things so I always research everything. With diagnosed ASPD the person has to be older then 18, however I read its symptoms can show up in childhood, and it can lead to an earlier diagnosis like 14-15 years old early.
In the case of Lila she deceives people and uses them (✓). Don't makes long term plans or thinking through about her behavior (✓), however has a set on some goal she wants to achieve (✓). She has a sense of superiority above of her classmates and adults in her environment (✓), nevertheless does't have any remorse or guilt to mistreat them (✓). Uses charisma and her fake charming persona to get something or someone (✓), however didn't value them more than tools or prizes (✓).
I didn't see any real aggressive behavior from Lila beside akumatizations (✓), but on its own I think it's enough evidence, that she has this disorder (and not the many that she claimed). In normal aggressive way Lila didn't show herself (like physical violence, loud angry outbursts, big fits in front of everyone) yet, rather she uses Akumatization to hide that kind of behavior (when Adrien tried to stand up she became willingly Chameleon, or the Heroe's Day, or Oni-Chan). So her Akumatised forms and helping to Hawkmoth are the evidences that she has aggressive behavior, however they are not the classic forms (but we also can remember the threatening in the bathroom, but I think that was more intimidation and showing her superiority then pure aggressiveness).
And I wanted that recreate and strengthen this 'fact' a little bit so it would be more obvious than in the show.
Ninth day
In the comics there are so many take on Bruce Wayne it's kind of hard to count it. We could list the Batman persona, when he kind of let his children do what they want within his no-kill-rule (like living alone at fourteen with bunch of other teenager - 'Teen Titans' or 'Young Justice' or as it looks like to go rough - Robin, Red Hood). And there is the obvious martyr-parent take, when he has to know everything about his children, but he is always silent about the important things ('Death of the family' - 'Batman and Robin: Born to kill' - 'The Hunt for Robin'). And one of my favorites the worried-tired father take, when he is kind of showing his emotions and trying to love his kids ('Super Sons' - 'Robin Rises' - 'Prelude to the Wedding: Nightwing vs. Hush' ...).
And I decided to use the last with a more active take from the first (like he lets everyone do their thing but he is monitoring them within reasons). In the comics there are many accusations about being someones father (with Julie Madison or Mariah Shelley), and here in my take he is trying to be responsible (for the sake of his children, mainly for Damian and Jason) and checks every claim out personally (so they also can do DNS test).
Tenth day
Alya Césaire is a complicated someone in the show. At first she is portrayed as a fierce helper for the protagonist, Marinette. She is stubborn and reckless, but royal to her best friends.
Then came Lila and the makers sharpened her stubborn tunnel vision. This I saw it first at the 'Lady Wifi' episode, when she clearly didn't remember about the first day, when Ladybug saved Chloé (or ignored it). After that she always fixated on 'Adrienette' (or everything else if it's interesting - Dark Cupid) when the girl, herself had other things to do (Princess Fragrance, Puppeteer 2, Reflektdoll 2, Timebreaker). So it was not that big surprise when her tunnel vision turned to Lila, and she (and everybody in her class) forgot about that they all met Jagged Stone and with his crocodile already.
Yeah, it's all true, however unlike Lila, Alya didn't show any other big social flaw. And she is 14 years old and middle child, which is kind of important in someone personality. She has to be a mature figure and a little child at the same time in her sibling's eyes. She has to compete attention in their parents eyes and be smart about it.
Moreover if we look at the Collège Françoise Dupont's students, they are all spoiled, not just Chloé or Lila or Adrien. Yes, they are not that bad like the three, but they are all sheltered to a certain degree. Their family don't have financial problems (famous chef, designers, mayor, famous bakery, curator in the most famous museum, police officer, famous pantomime, ...), plus they are all in a prestigious school where they can't meet people with everyday problems (and rich spoiled kid is not an everyday occurrence in my country). And beside some vision problems (Max, Sabrina) they are all healthy and the first time to meet a disability is when Lila arrived. So it's natural if they don't really know how to interact right with her (putting aside that whole lie thing).
And I think they, especial Alya, need first a little life experience, before they could be called responsible about their acts. And here I am trying to write it this kind of way, where they are all flawed, but they can learn from it.
Human being can be shallow and not perfect. These children only heard one perspective from Lila, and another from Marinette. In the show the makers not exactly specified about how well the classmates know Marinette and how depth Marinette and Alya friendship is, so there is already some trust issue.
Like yeah all of they are going to concerts, cinema, each others, however they didn't show so far any serious conservation between them (maybe the only exception is Adrien-Marinette combo). Until this year when Adrien and Alya got transferred in the class, the classmates don't even help Marinette with Chloé bullying. And one year friendship - how beautiful is it tho - is not that depth and stable, especially with that many secrets they have. And Lila 'charming' personality came into this still fragile relationship at the right time to prove this.
I am not saying that the makers is doing good to simplifies the relationships. Because rather they missed so many ziccers for the sake of promote new hero designs and the overwritten romantic scene, it's physical hurting me. But they are right that we are talking sheltered-traumatized-too naive kids, who sometimes had unearned magic powers (looking at Chloé, Alya, Kim).
And I didn't ever going the length of mentioning the adult characters. It's an other kind of wormhole.
Marinette was the only one who openly disobeyed Lila's wants. She stands up against her lies in the public so she is a real obstacle for Lila. While Adrien is only trying in the background without any witness (I don't say it's bad, because with some case it's better, but not here), and the boy is too valuable to Lila.
Lila already showed in the series she didn't stop with the lies and she is brave enough to ruin someone carrier with them (Marinette - 'Ladybug', Nathalie and Gorilla - 'Oni-Chan', Alya - 'Volpina'). And Adrien watched all of it in the front seat, and he kind of knows that Lila's main target here to discredit and broke Marinette/Ladybug (and Adrien, himself also, but it's his perspective and he is very sheltered and naive about it).
And this story she got another one to ruin. Bruce Wayne, himself. And as her fake charming side melts away in her anger as she is focusing more and more on her targets.
Eleventh day
Speed Force is one of the Seven Forces of the Universe. It grants the power of the speedsters. And some of them merged with it (for example Barry Allen). Speed Force has a direct connection to the time flow and with the Multiverse (or now Omniverse). The biggest event of it is the Flashpoint (2011) which started the New52 era. And Batman doesn't want to mix this kind of force with a really mysterious ancient magic.
Nightrunner's first appearance was in 2011 in Detective Comics Annual #12. Within the Batman Incorporated line Bruce recruited Bilal Asselah, French-Algerian citizen to represent Batman in Paris. Here he is a mentor/background assistant to the Team Miraculous and a representative of Batman Inc.
Fourteenth day
Wang Fu is not the most mature character in the show and I think it says it all. Being an 186 years old is the Great Guardian after he accidentally destroyed the temple, he is kind of shameful and amateur. And if we contrasted him with Batman... yeah. Batman is NOT happy and takes the control from the old master.
Fifteenth day
I know Cyborg, alias Victor Stone is currently shown as a founding member of the Justice League (since 2011), however I am prefer him more in the Titans. And it's not just because of the animation show form 2003, but also in the comics he is more himself with the first Titans then with the -all mighty- Justice League. And I also wanted him to have a little cameo in this story because in the Super Sons (2017-) he was kind of like a babysitter for the boys. And to me it's kind of funny how many times the bats short circuited him (Robin Rises, Super Sons: Parent Trap, ...).
Sixteenth day
Damian Wayne is a complicated character. For ten years he was teached to kill. He only learnt about his mother at eight. He only learnt about his father at ten. Thalia used him for anything from power play to plotting someone death. Bruce loves him, but he is so moronic about his own emotions it's kind of painful to read sometimes. And there is the thing where Damian is never enough, his mother cloned him (Heretic), his father has other wards (mainly Red Robin). Dick Grayson went incognito spying when the boy had finally a healthier relationship (Grayson: The Superspy). His best friend, Jon Kent was suddenly older then him (2018 Superman #16). Alfred was killed in front of him (2016 Batman #77). Yeah, Damian is a jerk, but he has every right to be a jerk in my opinion. And I wanted that recreate here as Lila is a liar and threatening his 'only' position as a blood son. His only weapon to prevent it to have a fit and doing what was teached to him.
Fulltime
