Wade Phillips

Physique: Husky Build Height: 6'0"

Harold Wade Phillips (born June 21, 1947-) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL. He has served as head coach of the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys. He has also served as interim head coach for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and the Houston Texans. Additionally, Phillips has long been considered to be among the best defensive coordinators in the NFL.

Handsome, husky, thick legs and he’s hairy, he certainly ranks as a Daddybear to behold. I mean he just does it for me with that sweet, rounded baby face of his and I even love that sort of "lazy eye" his. And when the announcers would talk about his father Bum Phillips, I could help but admirer him back in the day when he wore those tight jeans and cowboy hat on the sideline of the Houston Oilers. The cowboy look is one of many things that do it for me and Bum definitely had the look down pat.

Again married (aren't all the good ones?). He pretty much seems to have lived and breathed football his entire life, when he wasn't marrying his high school, head cheerleader sweetheart (yea!) and having two children. Phillips, who is in his 54th year of coaching, enters his second season as head coach of the Houston Roughnecks. So I'll be still be seeing his thick ass on Houston's sidelines.

GTA V Characters and how they hug/react to hugs:

Michael: Not a huge fan of PDA, or being touched in that manner. But if he gives you a hug it’s a side hug, a simple and quick squeeze around the shoulders. He’ll accept a hug if you’re close to him, usually, you’ll be met with a few quick pats on the back. The typical dad-style hug. If he's feeling particularly affectionate, he may ruffle your hair.

Trevor: A man who thoroughly enjoys hugs. If you’re on good terms with this man, as soon as he sees you, he’s hugging you in some way. While it varies, most often it’s a harsh squeeze and then standing at an arm's length, smiling the same goofy smile before likely rattling you by the shoulders. As for receiving a hug, he is always taken by surprise when someone initiates it, but he’ll almost never turn one down. However, piss him off mid-hug and he will put you in a chokehold. Franklin: He's indifferent to hugs, most of the time. But he is one hell of a hugger. Most of his hugs are a couple of seconds, but almost always accompanied by a soft laugh. If you hug him, he usually will lift an arm, smiling, giving you a strong squeeze before letting you go.

Lamar: He loves hugs. Almost any time he greets a friend, he gives a hug. He does make some of the strangest noises while he hugs people. Sometimes it's just him grunting with the effort he puts into the hugs, the other times its him slightly lifting you up and making an incredibly loud "Raaaaa." noise while he swings you back and forth. Honestly, with Lamar, it is unpredictable. Now if you initiate the hug, he will act disgusted. "Homie, you're being so gay right now. Bein' soft n' shiiiiit." But he'll still hug you with a stupid smile plastered on his face.

Ron: You don't hug Ron.

Wade: Wade gets all sorts of giddy if you hug him or let him hug you. He is very careful to not get his Juggalo facepaint on you, but this man is like, constantly jittering with energy. His hugs last a second or two and then he's happy-stimming. If you initiate the hug, he is usually incredibly confused at first, but he usually will return a soft tap on your arm.

Lester: Hard no. Hates hugs with a passion. If he hugs you, it's typically a half-assed, quickly wrap an arm around you, half-a-second hug. If you thought Michael was bad, Lester is worse. Is it a reason he hates Trevor? Maybe. There is almost no way he will let you hug him. If you approach him, most of the time, he will either put his cane up, glaring at you from over the rim of his glasses, or will instinctively roll back from you in his wheelchair.

Floyd: He is very similar to Wade in that he loves to hug people. But his hugs are very comforting, he will gently rub your back and set his head on your shoulder/head depending on how tall you are. He's a full-body hugger and he won't let go until you're ready. If you hug him, he usually will ask if everything is okay before returning the hug, once again holding you until you let go.

🔗 Which character do you feel you are most similar to?

I'm going to have to say Franklin mostly, but also a little bit of Trevor and Wade too. Franklin mostly in the sense that he's the most sane out of all the protaganists compared to the other two and that he's the most cool headed, chill and sensible one which is me usually when I'm in an alright mood.

Trevor because I can get quite emotional like him or attached to people. (Not the Psycho parts, but the parts where he broke down over Patricia and the Mrs Phillips mission where he cried on the floor, that's me having a meltdown)

Extending on my prior point, Wade as well. I actually have learning disabilites like he does, but not as severe but when I saw Wade it was refreshing because I feel like that Rockstar potrayed what it was like having learning disabilites accurately and there aren't many characters in the media or video games that show disabled characters properly. I also liked Wade because of this reason too, so yeah I would say Franklin and Wade with a little bit of Trevor.

🔎 What is your favourite mission?

Hood Safari and Trevor Phillips Industries. Love those, if talking about one Trevor Phillips Industries. Tao Cheng dancing was just so funny along with T shoving both him and his translator in the ice box, before they come out freezing. I just love how goofy and immature he was being with the tie on his head while being drunk and high the entire time in the mission.

Hood Safari because it's the first time T meets Lamar and also because he helps Franklin clear out the Ballas. Before this mission, T had only just met Franklin and knew the kid for less than two minutes. What I love most about this mission is how T helps out Frank even when he hardly knows him dealing with a problem that's not really his because the gang war was between the Ballas and the CGF, which T isn't a member in.

T could of easily chose to walk away since the gang war is none of his business, but he chose to stay put and help both F and Lamar. That's what I love about this mission. The other thing I love is the shootout, I found it fun to do and the last part with the seasharks escaping the cops too that was incredibly fun and also funny too particuarly when Trevor steals the seashark and shoves the young woman off it after she screamed her head off was just hilarous as hell.
