Selina hit the ground hard, rolling a few feet before pulling herself into a crouch. She cracked her whip, tilting her head to the side.

“I’ve still got a few lives left,” she teased, lashing out with a low kick that Talia managed to escape. Selina pulled herself to her feet with the few seconds it bought her, sidestepping the blade coming at her. Talia swung it back, only for Selina’s whip to wrap around her wrist, blocking the momentum.

“Cute.” Talia muttered, grabbing the whip where it wrapped around her wrist and pulling with all her strength, yanking it from Selina’s grasp.

“All you’ve done is made it necessary to use my claws,”

“Your claws and I are well acquainted, I think I’ll manage,”

Selina charged and Talia swung the sword, Selina bending down to dodge it and to focus her attack on the torso, lashing out with her claws for-

Another miss.

She cursed, reeling back before Talia could retaliate- but not fast enough to avoid a small superficial cut from Talia’s blade. Selina sighed, shoulders relaxing as her body untensed.

“You win- again” Selina relented, closing her eyes. She felt Talia’s hand caress her cheek and leaned into it with an almost purr.

“I told you I would. You still insisted on a rematch though, didn’t you?” She teased, unwrapping Selina’s whip from her hand and giving it back.

“I’m not used to the agreement being ‘whoever draws blood first wins’, it only matters how much blood you draw” Selina pointed out, taking her cowl off.

“Fair. I still won’t call a draw, pet.”

Selina huffed, hugging Talia if only to rest a moment.

“Fine. I’ll accept your victory if you carry me back to bed. I don’t think I’m going to make it alone, you’ve exhausted me” she groaned dramatically, resting slightly more of her body weight on Talia. She sighed, shaking her head.

“I indulge you too much” Talia sighed, but the fond smile on her face gave her away. She bent down slightly, lifting Selina up with some effort. Selina wrapped her legs around Talia’s waist, resting her head on her shoulder.

“No, I think you indulge me just enough.”
