I keep coming across (self included) reoccurring theme: afab autistics being mainly friends with cis (neurotypical) men, because they find them simpler and therefore easier to read

My mother even told me to be friends with guys, because they’re simpler so it’s going to be easier for me. At first I was thinking it was bs, but then I realized all friendships that don’t make me anxious af are with guys and apparently I am not the only one

I'm so glad I live in Prague. For a quite a while now, family members have been asking me if I want to get a driver’s license (you have to be 18+). The conclusion I came to was: I would like to in the future, but with my current state of mental health, it wouldn’t be safe for me to drive (my anxiety can spiral very quickly)

Fortunately for me Prague has great public transport so it isn’t a problem.

This is a map of PPT- the three thick lines are metro/subway, the thin ones are trams and the buses (the most common vehicles) are not even here (probably because it would be impossible to read)

Edit: also it’s cheap and I have been using it daily (on my own) since I was 9-10 years old and never had any issues

What I mean by “I'm self-diagnosed autistic”

Multiple mental health professionals pointed out (since I was a child) me showing signs of autism, but nobody bothered to do anything about it

Couple YEARS ago I started to do my own research and came to the conclusion “Yes I am most likely autistic”

Both my mother (who used to be a psychiatrist) and my therapist (aka my main support people) agree on this with me and the only reason I am not looking for a professional diagnosis right now is that I have the support I need and the possible drawbacks of having “AUTISTIC” on my records are not worth it to me (at least in my current situation)
