So while Odin is my dude, he very clearly enjoys my wanderings and wiki-rabbit-hole-diving and just generally needing to know more about whatever, I think Loki's been vying for my attention too? Or it's AllDad trying to get me more trickstery. I had this glorious April Fool's day plan in place and then all the pandemic crap went down thus ruining the plan; the disappointment was terrible, like I wasn't the only one bummed.

Ahhh. Knowledge, see, is the holiest and most sacred thing there is. I was a voracious seeker of knowledge even before I realized that the God of Knowledge was knocking at my door, and it’s one of the things he seems to approve of highly in followers. Not even specific knowledge; just, as you say, the insatiable need to know, to know more about everything. He and Frigg both seemed delighted by my dive into silkworm raising, for example, and me tinkering to figure out the secrets of the chow formula. 

Any knowledge, sought in the simple driving desire to know and to understand, is sacred.

Loki often follows where his blood brother blazes the trail, or vice versa. The two very often arrive together.
