I think an INTJ would be more appreciative of this than an ENTJ since INTJs like to get in touch with their feelings from time to time (its called Fi in mbti). They’ll think of you as sweet, innocent, and someone they HAVE to protect. It’s a cruel world out there, they can’t let INFP darling be tainted! You immediately flew over to them and severed one of the Titan's hands, making it drop Hange. You tried going over to Hange to make sure they were okay but your victim from earlier was quick on its feet. It forcibly grabbed your arm, having a tight grip on it, it eventually broke.

Determination coursing through you, you thought nothing of the pain as you used your other hand to cut the Titan's fingers off before it ultimately let go of you. Knowing that you couldn't put up a fight with just one arm, you yelled to Hange.

"Hange! Make a run for it!"

The both of you used your 3DM Gear to retreat. When you made a good bit of distance between yourself and the Titan, Hange went to search for a medic.

You clenched your teeth and balled your fist in pain as the nurse set your arm. Once the pain eased up a bit, you asked the nurse a question as she wrapped a liner around your forearm.

"Do you think Squad Leader Hange could come and visit?"

"Not right now, of course, but maybe when it's visiting hours. I'll ask them." She said with a smile.

"Ah, okay."

The nurse finished wrapping up your arm and left after saying she'll be back in a few hours to give you dinner.

So you sat there and waited.

Soon, your food had arrived, but not Hange.

You laid in bed, eating some pineapple in the dimly lit, sterile room, still waiting impatiently.

They never visited.

…

You were stuck in your hospital bed for a couple days before you could return to work. Due to your disability, you were ordered to clean the mess hall after meals instead of venturing outside the walls.

You also haven't seen Hange since that encounter with that Titan. You figured they were still recovering.

This continued for what you thought was at least a week. Everyday was the same. You cleaned the mess hall, went back to your office and went to sleep, only to wake up and repeat the same cycle. Without seeing Hange at all. It really bummed you out. Not seeing them for days on end made your days… lackluster.

If Hange really was recovering from the event, they would've already been back, ready to face the outside world and see more Titans. Something was up and you were determined to find out what it was.

…

You knocked on the door to Hange's office. You soon regretted doing so when a thought crossed your mind. What if something really bad happened to them? What if they're…? You would be better off not ever knowing.

Praying for someone to answer, the door swung open suddenly with a cheerful looking Hange on the other side. Their grin was soon wiped off once they found out who had knocked on their door.

"What do you want?" They asked.

"Hi, Hange! I was wondering if you were doing okay. I haven't seen you in forever."

"Of course I'm fine, I was just… busy… with paperwork."

"You could've just asked me to help if you had that much!" I smiled.

"I don't want your help." Hange said, crossing their arms over their chest.

"Hm? Why not?"

"B-Because… You're way too nice and you always help me when I don't need it."

"H-Hange!" You said, flustered, "I'm flattered… but what are you talking about? Do you not like my help?"

"Yes!" Hange exclaimed, their voice starting to raise, "That's exactly what I mean! I don't like your help! Why did you have to come in and save me from that Titan the other day?! I was perfectly capable of handling it myself!"

"I just wanted to help! And why are you so uptight about me helping you anyway?!" You said, deciding to match Hange's volume.

"Because-! Because… I care about your safety… a lot," Their voice started to soften a bit, "I like you a lot. I mean, I love you. God, I feel like a teenager all over again." They said with a nervous chuckle.

You gasped rather loudly than you'd like to admit. You were so surprised, you didn't know what to say.

"Ugh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have ever said that. I sounded too overprotective and weird. I'll-"

"Wait, no!" You started, "You didn't sound weird at all! It just came as such a surprise, it left me a bit speechless. Because I like you, too! And you shouldn't be mad at me for saving you because we're both alive and safe! All that matters now is that we have each other!"

You pulled Hange into a hug and rested your head on their chest. They rested their chin on your shoulder, letting out a relieved sigh and smiling softly as a blush slowly crept upon their cheeks.

"Yeah, we have each other."

I’ve written & rewritten so many different replies to this post, but I couldn’t figure out how to respond so I think I’m going to stop planning things out & just let it all flow

First things first, HAVSSBSB holyshit thankyou for the ask. I don’t mind at all because now I have an excuse to mention them

ALSO DW about being late with this. Caus I mean.. better late than never?? Idk do people still even say that?

Ever since this one line Dan says in the English dub about having seven kids, I’ve decided that it would be really really funny if I just… gave him that

BUT. The issue is that designing seven fankids & giving them their own unique personalities is h a rd

The only one I have decently figured out is the oldest son, Yasir, and that’s okay because I cherish him even though I haven’t decided on a design I’m content with yet but shhhhhhhh

(Quick heads-up: a lot of developing fankids stuff happened when me & a friend were obsessing over this restaurant AU. So a lot of details are centered around that)

Yasir’s great tho. Darling son boyo. Please ask me about him

Idk where to start if I’m being completely honest. I have several ideas for a “backstory” I guess?? But I don’t really want to say anything unless I’m definitive about it

He’s pretty dense but not dense enough to be incompetent. Yasir has excellent antenna and knows when a circumstance is unfavorable for him, but is too rash and impulsive on top of whatever desperation he’s in to do much without exasperating the issue

You could probably argue that all of Dan’s kids ended up somewhat materialistic, but at least for Yasir, it’s not for reasons having to do with greed or splendor. His preoccupation has to do with bouts of worrying on never having enough regardless of how comfortably he’s living & the doubt of somehow turning up short of something despite clearly owning the necessary funds

He’s incredibly suspicious of other Stand Users, and tries his best to not affiliate with them; obviously, this never winds up being the case with the natural attraction

His siblings are something he adores, but constantly will his attempts to be what he views as a responsible older brother end with him patronizing & babying them. It’s well-meaning, but how he insists on doing things for their safety comes off as infantilizing

This added onto his continual keeping other Stand Users away from them…

1) How many works do you have on AO3? 620 (but I've been writing a lot of short things since around 2006-7, and there might even still be a couple of the 1994-98 fic from the newsgroups up). 2) What’s your total AO3 word count? 1,476,147 (but this does include about 300,000 words of origfic for RaTs and rainbowfic that are collected into three works, so it doesn't affect the works no too much, but it does affect the wordcount.) 3) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they? Too many to list here!  A lot.  *nods* 4) What are your top 5 fics by kudos? People, it's still Miss Marple.  Maybe one day it won't be Miss Marple, but today is not that day. (ETA: whenever i do my top AO3 fic on these memes, it’s disproportionately Miss Marple.  I am bemused.) Oh, I don't know. I like being bleak sometimes when I feel like it.  It might be the EatD one with the two Generals, but honestly there were a few in my mid-illness old bleak telly watching years, and the Level 7 one or the one from Children of the Damned might be even more so?  Or some S&S stuff, too?  I mean, I wrote S&S plane crash fic and weird drabbles.  (I blame my fandoms!  It's not my fault!  *innocent*) Also I keep doing Clara splinter fic, so I keep killing Clara and it's always sadder than I expect when I get there.  You'd think I'd learn by now, or just not kill this splinter, but, nooo, hey, how about MORE Clara splinter death, self?  /o\ Oh, no, wait: it's probably Spooks!  Spooks is also bleak and how about my tiny ficlet of death, Litany of the Fallen? Oh, actually, if I listen to people who aren't me, it's that B7 Avon/Servalan one, which I was always a bit: BUT I WROTE ONE WHERE THEY WON about it and everyone else was all THIS IS THE WORST in the comments.  Sorry? The Quality of Mercy (Is Most Definitely Strained)  (I still think the ending of Compendium is more angsty!  It has double death!) (Ok, it's me.  I like being bleak and angsty when I'm doing it.  I'm less sure when someone else is doing it at me, of course. ;-p) 7) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending? I honestly don't know.  I'm usually kind of gen and happy and sometimes even humorous, and keep canon's tone, and DW is fairly light most of the time. I tried searching on Happy, but I have never tagged anything as happy.  But probably it is an AAL! thing, because AAL! is happiness in b&w TV form basically.  Maybe of Of Human Bondage (or Five Times Adam and His Friends Found Themselves All Tied Up)?  But I like all the AAL! ones I wrote for Yuletide, because they were the ones where I tried to be closest to an episode, and that makes them the most fun to re-read. 8) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written? I have a crossover in my top 5, so yes.  I'm a DW fan; crossovers are just far too obvious a temptation when you've got a TARDIS.  What DW fic writer hasn't managed at least one once somewhere?  And I might have, um, written a lot of them.  (AO3 says 126). I did once, way back in newsnet times, when we were having a debate over what you could and couldn't cross DW over with (and I was on Team You Can Cross It With Anything You Cowards), write a DW/Rainbow drabble.  But I don't think I put that on AO3.  I think it might be on Teaspoon.   In AO3 works, I think by far the silliest is the Baldrick/Steed one, which AstroGirl said I couldn't write.  (It was an Unconventional Courtship summary, not that they randomly dared me to write Baldrick/Steed.  I mean, some of my flist totally would have done if they'd thought of it, but not in this case.) 9) Have you ever received hate on a fic? Not really.  I've had some weird comments, but the nearest I've come to hate was one of the comments that time I tried to write Swan Queen fic and it wasn't happy enough for people.  (I wrote a happy one after, but the ifrst one was set quite early, Regina was still kind of evil!) 10) Do you write smut? If so what kind? Alas, no.  Although, ish, if we count my experimental elemental shipping phase, which included The Cornfield (Silver/Steel/(Sapphire)), which is the only time anyone called any of my fic sexy.  I would totally have that comment made into a medal or something.   11) Have you ever had a fic stolen? Other than the random scraping things that have gone round over the years, no. 12) Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes!  Several people have been kind enough to do this, usually into Russian, and usually (but not always!) Miss Marple. 13) Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes, and no - in adwc days we all co-authored round robins, which were a blast and highly frustrating.  I think it'd be fun, but barring the odd bit of drabble tennis with various flisters back in the day, it's not really something that's worked out.  (I'm thinking, I could have all the ideas, they could do all the writing, I could criticise?? XD) 14) What’s your all time favorite ship? My Relationships count is very misleading here, because I think it actually is (including in terms of things written for it), Sapphire/Silver/Steel, but it's a weird thing, so sometimes I tag it platonically, and sometimes I don't necessarily tag it at all for that reason, and also I think it puts people off unnecessarily.  (But it's a Lie when I don't tag it.  All my Sapphire & Silver & Steel is inherently OT3 even if no one else can see it.) 15) What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? None.  I have unposted WIPs, but I do hope to finish those, and the only posted WIP is a very old one only on Teaspoon that was begun before I was ill and I can't even really say at this point that I would want to finish it. 16) What are your writing strengths? Character/dialogue, I think?  I am actually not that bad at plot, but currently I lack the stamina for long things. I like to think I can be quite funny when I'm in the mood. 17) What are your writing weaknesses? Description, action.  Argh.  Yes, let's just talk some more, okay? 18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? I was going to say I would never, but actually I did!  I wrote Y Gwyll | Hinterland fic, and it wouldn't be right not to have some Welsh in that.  However, while I may be a 1/4 Welsh and know some Welsh words, I don't actually speak it, so I had to turn to Llywela who was very kind and translated the sentences I needed.  (I added the English translation in the footnote.)  This was the fic, but basically language is important in canon (ironically maybe even more so in the Eng-lang version I watched than the original Welsh), and so it was also important in the fic. So, probably if it was a canon where it was required, then I would do what I could to get help to get it right?  The good thing about the internet is that you can usually find someone, although usefully for me, I already knew someone. 19) What was the first fandom you wrote for? Doctor Who! 20) What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? I'm going to wimp out on this along with everyone else.  Although... if any of you have a fave fic of mine, that would be very cool to hear!  (But I don't expect anyone to.) Sometimes I'm pleased enough with the latest to feel it's that, but that's not always the case, and it isn't currently.  (No, offence, Latest Works!  I like you, it just only happens once in a while, usually when I've managed something I've wanted to do for years.)

i'm a senior in high school right now, and i have yet to pick out a course for university. i have english (or creative writing) and psychology as subjects i'm interested in pursuing. i've seen that you're a creative writing major yourself, so i wanted to ask about career options that can be taken up if you take creative writing as a major? i'm just a bit curious since i'm still indecisive, feel free to ignore this if it's too personal/odd for me to ask such questions from you. thank you so much anyway! i love your writing very much by the way 🖤

hey! i don't think this is too personal, dw, it's actually very nice that you thought to ask someone who was in the field already (and i'm flattered that you'd ask me something like this at all, actually, LOL) i think i'm gonna add this answer below the cut, cause i talk a lot, as you know

so!

i actually jumped between english and psychology for my first two years -- i was actually a psych major, integrative neuroscience major and a bio major on the pre-med track in that exact order before i became a creative writing major. indecisiveness is okay! you have a LOT of time to make your choice!

in terms of careers, a creative writing degree can let you be a number of things besides just a writer; you can be an editor, technical writer, proofreader, publisher, journalist, grant writer, you can go into public relations, etc.! the joy of liberal arts degrees is that they allow for so many career options.

but if money is your biggest concern, i'd honestly say that psychology has a much better pay-off than creative writing. psychology is STEM and can branch into many, MANY different directions like psychiatry, neurology, etc. etc., and those jobs pay more.

another thing to keep in mind is that if you do choose creative writing, be sure to hone other skills alongside your writing skills in the event that in the future, you don't secure a job that's directly related to your degree. for example, i'm looking into a japanese minor so i can become a translator or go back to school to become an english teacher abroad.

that last part isn't exactly what you asked, but i do think it's important to know; i didn't exactly have people to tell me this in high school, so i'm still feeling a lot of this out myself; don't quote me on ANY of this. but anyways, college is all trial and error, and it's also a time for you to grow as a person, so remember that all of this will happen in due time at your own pace, yeah? you can enter college undecided and most places (that i know of, since i'm american) allow you to be undecided until the end of your sophomore year so take your time! complete your gen eds first and feel your way through! :D

Yeah, you got it right I'm an english major!! Regarding a job after graduation,,,, honestly, I’m probably as lost as you might be. I can agree that its deffo overwhelming and kinda intimidating when you try to take everything into account when planning your future haha,, 

I’ll be honest, I don’t have some grand reason for choosing to be an english major. I’ve never really gravitated to any specific course or job, which made choosing stuff pretty daunting. I chose to take up being an english major because i knew that I would be comfortable in it–– that I wasn’t in any real danger of failing. Boring reason, I know, but after being a STEM grad (where getting high grades was neither fun nor easy) taking up something comfortable and that I knew I was good at felt like a breath of fresh air. Maybe I could afford to be lax in the course I chose bc I knew that my family wouldn’t bat an eye if I ever felt like shifting or if I wanted to go back to college or whatever, so there wasn’t any pressure to be critical about my course or my job after, which is... good, I suppose.

Uhh, sorry, I got off track, but if I were to go for a job as an english major grad... I’m still not sure, but it’s likely that I’d go for being someone in charge of PR or social media, since I’ve got some background there as I basically control my english college’s social media and PR. Or maybe a reporter or a lawyer, since I’ve been told that I’m good at speaking (tho tbh it’s all just bravado–– my bitch ass is actually really scared of talking but atp I’m good at faking the confidence kajsdas) 

My more ambitious plans (and, honestly, riskier ones that I likely still need to think on) is to either go back and take up psych, or to continue as a model (something that, pre-pandemic, I had been doing pretty well, and that I actually do enjoy) though ever since the pandemic started, that plan has come to a halt, so I dunno if I’ll still proceed with it. 

ah, I’m not sure if this helped since I rambled quite a bit, but I hope that it still gave you something to think about, my love! I totally agree that there’s no pressure to be certain about your future asap–– just take your time with it and think things through. Being overwhelmed and unsure is completely normal, but it’s not something that you should let scare you into being passive and uncertain. Maybe if you’re still unsure about some things you can try to take up some brief internships at a couple of places, just to see how things work and to see if you think you’d enjoy yourself there (like, as long as you’re not endangering your safety or anything) ? Aaa the choice is yours either way, love.

Shoulder Devils

Prompt: five times Janis tried to fake okay and the one time she just couldn't OH MY GOD I LOVE 5+1S OFC (this was supposed to be posted next week but i got it written within a few hours and just wanted to post it now bc holy shit its 5+1 and janis angst, my two favorite things.)

The knot in her stomach felt wound up too tight, like it would tear her insides at any moment. 

Calm down, Janis, it's only the first day of school. The common sense part of her brain told her. 

But every other part of her was screaming a different story. 

It's your first day of high school after being homeschooled through the end of middle school. Nobody has seen you since you were plastic and you'll be totally alone during your tiny only classes.

She subconsciously gripped the shirt underneath her tighter. 

Janis was on Damian's shoulder as they walked to their first class of the day. 

She knew deep down she'd feel better if she vocalized her worries to Damian, that way an outside source could ease her stress, but Damian had his own worries. He was in charge of not only getting him but also Janis to their classes on time- spare her tiny periods.

Janis had unintentionally made him stressed more just by existing.

Now, that's a little dramatic. The common-sense voice in her head said. It eerily sounded like Damian. Quite fitting.

No, it's true. The other part of her brain said. This one sounded like herself. 

Janis felt like she had her own tiny people on her shoulders. Just these were devils and angles, not best friends. 

Damian stopped in front of a classroom.

"English, co-sized, room 148, period one."

Sure enough, they stood in front of room 148. Janis could see kids she recognized at their grade, no longer eight graders but now freshman. 

"This won't be middle school." Janis mumbled to herself, trying to be reassuring.

"What?" Damian asked as he stepped into the room.

"Nothing," Janis said, a bit to fast. "Just talking to myself."

So much for that no worrying Damian part. 

"Okay," Damian said slowly.

He doesn't believe you, you fucked up. Shoulder devil Janis taunted.

Damian sat in the front row of the class so Janis would be able to see the board.

"You're gonna do great today," Damian reassured her, like he could tell exactly what she needed to hear. "If you need me at all during the day, just text me, okay?"

Look, failure, you've got him all worried. Shoulder Janis mocked.

No, he's just looking out for you, like friends should. The reasonable Damian sounding subconscious said. 

"I'm fine, really." Janis said with a soft smile.

Janis was pro at keeping her freakouts internal. As a plastic, she learned it better to just keep her problems to herself, bottle them up till she's lying in bed at night and they explode, like a mento in cola. 

Damian didn't like the method of emotional management that Janis adapted, but old habits die hard. 

Janis knew Damian wouldn't tell her to shut up like Regina would.

But he'll still judge you. Shoulder Janis reminder her. They all judge you. 

So she kept her freakouts internal. 

Until one night. She was at Damian's house for a sleepover. For the longest time, Janis would sleep on a makeshift bed next to Damian's nightstand. It was safer that way. Even though both Damian and Janis knew when Damian fell asleep he slept like a rock and didn't move, it wasn't worth the risk.

Cuz you're small and fragile and nothing but a worry. Shoulder Janis said. The reassuring mind Damian was quiet. 

Nothing to say, because I'm right.

Janis looked over to Damian on his bed. He was lying on his back with his eyes closed, but Janis could tell he was still awake. She shifted slowly in the tiny bed, not wanting to worry Damian. 

He deserves better than to be worried by you.  The devil Janis sneered. 

Janis knew logically that these were her own thoughts, but it felt like somebody else was saying them to her, confirming everything she feared. She was just a burden who got in the way. An irritant to all. A hassle to Damian, who had to take her everywhere.

Just like that, the mento fell in the coca-cola.

She quickly brought her hand up to her mouth to cover a cry. She didn't want to disrupt Damian. Not while he was still awake. She could fall apart when he was asleep. 

Her shoulders shook as silent tears slipped down her face. Janis wiped them away briskly. 

"Janis?"

Damian was sitting up in bed, looking at her small girl. 

Even though the dark room, Janis could feel his eyes on her.

"I'm fine." She said abruptly. Her defensive tone cueing that she was in fact, not fine.

You fucked that one up.

Janis rubbed at the ghost tears on her face, pressing the heels of her palms into her eyes. 

Damian reached forward and scooped her up gingerly, his fingers wrapping around her gently as he laid back down on his side. He held Janis to his chest, like a kid holds a teddy bear. He didn't say anything or question her, just held her close. 

"I am fine, y' know" She said, but Janis gripped onto Damian's shirt despite herself, listening to Damian's heartbeat as they both fell asleep.

Janis? Where are you?

Janis glanced down at her phone. She was supposed to be meeting Damian at the tiny pick up zone, but instead, she was hiding in an empty classroom trying not to have a panic attack.

Nurse.

Janis typed back quickly, no point in telling the truth and getting Damian all worried.

Sorry if I made you wait too long and you're late to class.

You okay?

She placed her phone down, leaning against the cool concrete wall of the classroom. Damian would be heavily annoyed if she asked for help every time she felt this way.

He probably feels heavily annoyed with you no matter what. The inner Janis taunted.

"Right."

Janis knew Damian could tell she was upset. Janis also knew he wasn't gonna push her to talk about or bring it up first. And on top of all this knowledge, Janis knew she was in no way gonna vocalize her feelings. 

Sucks for her.

They were sitting in class, and Janis was trying to face forward and do her work, but her mind went anywhere other than algebra. 

She could feel Damian staring at her, but she refused to turn around a make eye contact. Janis did a shit job at hiding her emotions that morning, but she wasn't the type to admit when she was wrong.  Especially not after saying she was fine so many times earlier. 

Even though all she wanted to do was sleep in Damian's pocket until she had to go home, then sleep some more, she knew she just needs to push through the day under everyone's radar.

Because she was fine.

Yup, sure you are. Shoulder Janis was back, and as annoying as ever.

Janis was pretty sure her 'shoulder angle Damian' was just her brain spitting out anything positive Damian had ever said to her back out at her. 

Because it all sounded very familiar.  

But it all also got drowned out by the shoulder devil Janis, who was loud and mean and most importantly, she was right.

Anything shoulder Damian said, shoulder Janis had a counter that made more logical sense.

Does Damian actually like you?

Of course, he does, he's your friend! Why else would he carry you around all the time and care so much?

That one word made Janis's head spin because it made so much sense. 

Poor space dyke. Outed in front of her whole class in middle school. A tiny who can't do jack shit by herself. Who wouldn't feel bad?

"Janis?" She was sitting on Damian's shoulder as they (no- Damian) walked to lunch. She hadn't noticed they'd arrive because she was so lost in thought.

"I'm fine." She said.

They were at the Hubbard's. Cady was long gone. But her words still echoed. 

Damian was holding Janis to his chest, one hand underneath her, the other gently pressing her there. 

Janis wasn't crying. She told herself she wouldn't cry over something like this again. 

But crying or not, she felt sick. Like Cady physically ripped out her heart and stomped on it.

"Janis?" Damian asked, his voice vibrating through her small body.

"I'm fine."

"No, you're not." Damian says. For once he doesn't ignore it or move along.

"You're allowed to be hurting, you're allowed to not be okay. I'll still be here with an okay Janis and a not okay Janis because you are my best friend and I love you. I know I can't make the hurt go away but I want to help and I can't do that if you shut me out and say you're fine"

It sounded like something shoulder Damian had said so many times, but hearing the real Damian say it, it drowned out the shoulder Janis, and suddenly, Janis wasn't fine. But that was okay.

Damian didn't move or interrupt her as she cried, blubbering about everyone thinking she's a stupid lesbian.  

Damian didn't leave like Cady did, or judge her like Regina did.

Because he wasn't Cady or Regina.

He was Damian.

Janis felt bad for lying to him this whole time. 

Of course, Damian wouldn't leave her, or make fun of her, or take pity on her.

Damian hung out with her because he loved her, and Janis didn't need any small shoulder people to tell her that.

(i put u on my lap like i’m a grandpa telling a story) i’m going to be honest: there’s still a lot about the God themselves that i don’t know yet !! but from what i’ve read, their bio on the FGO wiki is actually pretty accurate when it comes to their backstory, their trauma and most importantly: their anger !!

FGO has chosen to focus on Kamadeva himself and the moment Shiva murdered him. Indian mythology can get confusing in the sense that: THERES A LOT OF REINCARNATIONS EVERYWHERE and i can barely keep track of them all (RAMA HIMSELF IS A REINCARNATION TOO) !! i know that kama gets reincarnated as well after his death, but FGO has chosen to simply freeze the original Kamadeva in time and add him to the Throne just like that. The FGO timeline is very different from the original indian mythology because in FGO, Rati who’s his consort and wife doesnt exist because DW wanted to make space for the masters to insert themselves !! which is why teaching kama about romantic love is the main drive point for master x kama ships !! and thats totally fine, kiss a horny god, BE FREE 💖 (but i think that bc of this, we’ll never have a Rati servant and i’m... :((( )

this FGO timeline can have its bad sides too unfortunately since DW has chosen to give kama a child first ascension to symbolize the different types of love (which is why theyre a lot less innocent in their final ascension) and obviously, it caters to creeps and i can totally understand why people would be put off by Kama in general because of this. it was a bad move for such a beautifully designed servant imo. which is why i’m going to keep away from it !! the only first ascension kama content you’ll see from me is just kama and ishtar acting like cute sisters !!

my main sources for reading about them are... their fgo wiki page since we all gotta start somewhere and this felt like the easiest place to do so!! 

their bond craft essence translation is also very interesting !! since their FGO timeline self is basically the main part of the cake !! THEN COMES THE FILLINGS 

kamadeva’s wiki page helped me quite a lot !! their french wiki page told me a lot of additional info not available in english and i was like :O !!! so if ur not an english speaker, make sure to check their wiki page in another language u know!! 

then ofc there’s tons of other websites u could check and read upon (AND ALSO !!! ASK ACTUAL HINDU PEOPLE IF U KNOW SOME THAT ARE INTERESTED IN MYTHOLOGY) !! for my part, ive been just scouting pages at random and looking up articles of their backstory and creation as well as the hindu god family tree... BUT EVEN THEN, there were a LOT of texts contradicting eachother and many sources that said one thing then another one said something else and... yeah. IT CAN GET CONFUSING VERY FAST

in some texts it says that kama is the son of brahma but in other sources, it says that kama was simply born Like That ? because kama (lustful love) is just a concept originally !! IT... IT ALL COMES DOWN TO HEADCANONS IN THE END, REALLY.

I just read something that was so stupid I think it lowered my iq and I can't respond directly because PEW has me blocked. He's anti-censorship but wants to stop people writing work he finds morally objectionable because of a perceived threat to the consumer....
