Prompt: Touching your soulmate leaves a temporary mark that fades after a few hours.

Dream, Tommy, Niki, Wilbur, Eret, Quackity, Ranboo, Fundy

Dream loves leaving thumb stokes, swirling over your cheekbones and brushing down your arms. His hand leaves neon green stains and sometimes he traces obscenes pictures onto your palms just to make you laugh when you notice a few minutes later.

Tommy leaves pastel red smears. Across your back and neck, where he had pulled you closer with his arm. Handprints against your palms, because he really likes holding your hand. He'll draw hearts on your arms and dicks on your face if you fall asleep near him.

Niki draws flowers on your crown. A gentle watercolor pink. Hand prints on your face from where she cupped it, just to admire at you. Your hands are entirely pink because she loves fiddling with them.

Wilbur's handprints are on your shoulders, because he sometimes just claspes them to lead you around in public. They are a soft and dewy blue, a little bit of sunshine. There are spots of blue peaking through your hair because he also likes setting his chin on your head, patting you, pressing his thumb to your crown in a mock simba moment.

Eret is a bright pink mixed with soft hues of purple. They swirl together around your waist. When his hands trail mindlessly over your arms, they're stained magenta for hours. He drops soft kisses on your nose and leaves a bright pink lip stain on your eyelids.

Quackity presses his arms against yours, leaving dewy yellows and deep blues marks that layers over themselves. There are soft brushes across your forehead and over your ears after he tries to push away every strand of baby hair's blocking your face. There are imprints of his head from when he slept across your lap.

Ranboo leaves red and green fingerprints on the back of your hands and arms. Brushes across your back, a few odd spots on your legs when he pokes you with his feet. He likes leaving two stains under your eyes, like eyebags but distinctly unnatural.

Fundy has handprints on your back and knees, because he likes slapping them just to mess with you. Soft rising sun orange lines tracing over your knuckles, wrapping around your palms. A blob with a tail rest on your collarbone, you think he mightve been trying to draw a fox.

[I really quickly wrote this during passing periods and I will admit, I am starved for affection. This is definitely a cry for help. Please feed me internet likes to curb this horrible medical condition plaguing me.]

it wasn’t a date.

sure, the two of you were out getting lunch together, just the two of you. and yeah, maybe you’d messaged your friends positively giddy at the prospect of you and niki hanging out together. and yeah, maybe you’d put in a bit of extra effort in your appearance and picked out the nicest place you knew and yes, maybe, you had been thinking about it non stop since you’d organised it.

you’d arrived early, and waited with an air of casual politeness when niki arrived. the two of you had been sitting at the restaurant for nearly two hours, and you had no intention of going anywhere any time soon.

she was telling a story about her and her brother when they were kids, one that had her giggling between words, and you were utterly enamoured. she finished her story and looked down. “oh, you’re done?” she gestured to your empty plate and hers still with food on it. “hang on, i’ll hurry up.”

“no,” you shook your head almost a little too eagerly, hoping she wouldn’t notice. “a pretty girl and an almost empty restaurant? we can stay as long as you like.” your tone was light, able to be played off as a joke if she didn’t feel the same.

niki got awfully quiet and you thought for a second you had made her uncomfortable. before you speak up and apologise, though, she was opening her mouth. “i think you’re pretty. you think i’m pretty?”

you sighed, outwardly relieved. “the prettiest.”

she flushed, and in the bright natural light coming through the window, you knew you had ever been more right.

With your head consumed by thoughts of homework you'd practically forgotten about the weekly movie night you had with Niki. You glanced over your shoulder at your work and the few meager sentences that you'd managed to write. A debate began to form in your mind; you didn't want to skip on the tradition you and Niki had formed, but you also really wanted to make some headway with your homework. Niki seemed to be able to sense your dilemma. Walking across to you, she peered at your computer screen, "You know," she smiled, "sometimes it's good to have a break from working, then you can come back to it with a clear head and in a more productive mood." You had to admit that there was truth in what she said and movie night did sound like a good break from the stresses of school work. So turning back around, you quickly saved your work before letting Niki drag you from your room and into the living room where there was a stack of movies waiting to be watched.

You and a bunch of others were having a party for Halloween. As much as you loved party’s with your friends, your social battery was at 1% right now and you didn’t feel like being around anyone.

As more and more people came into the small apartment, you started to feel squished. And you couldn’t exactly breathe either.

Wait.

You couldn’t breathe.

The more you thought about it, the more you became aware of it. You started clawing at your chest, gripping your shirt, trying to get air through your lungs. The room started to spin and you leaned against the wall and slid down, trying your hardest not to cry.

But , from across the room, Niki saw you on the ground, head to your knees, and breathing very heavily. She knew what was happening so she quickly excused herself from the person she was talking to and rushed over to you.

Niki placed her hand on your back to let you know she was there, and started rubbing your back gently. “Love, how about we go outside? How do you feel about that? Just to get some air?” Niki asked you as you looked up at her with glossy eyes. You nodded quickly, not being able to say something from the lack of air.

Niki gave you a hand and helped you up from the ground. She led you out the apartment and down the stairs that led you guys outside.

“Ok. Now just follow my breathing, ok? In and out.” Niki tells you as she motions for you to breathe with her.

You tried your best to breathe in time with her and slow your breathing. Eventually, your breathing slowed down enough for you to breathe in fully and let out a shaky sigh.

“Thank you, bubs. So much.” You whispered to her as you grabbed her hands and kissed them.

“It’s no problem! I’ll always help you babes. I promise.” Niki said back to you as she pulled you to sit on the step that led into the apartment complex.

“Wanna tell me what happened?” Niki asked you. “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.” She reassured you.

You shook your head. “No it’s fine. It just got really crowded and i was just so overwhelmed, I kinda forgot how to breathe.” You smiled at Niki, as she giggled.

You felt bad for having her miss the party because of you. It was fun! I mean at least from what you saw it was. But you just get so overwhelmed and nervous around a lot of people, you couldn’t really help it. But you still felt guilty. “I’m sorry. You’re out here missing the party because of me. You should go back and have fun.” You said as you looked at your hands and played with your fingers.

Niki furrowed her eyebrows. Why would you think she’d want to leave you? She wouldn’t leave you in a million years. And especially not like this. “No! I’m not leaving. We are going to sit here and you’re going to enjoy my company ok?” She said, in a playful demanding voice.

You laughed. “Ok! Ok. Fine, but only if we can talk about books and music. I have some more suggestions for you if you need some.” You looked at her with a questioning look on your face.

“Fine! Come here.” Niki laughed as she wrapped and arm around your shoulders. You rested your head on her shoulder and held her free hand. You played with the jewelry she was wearing for her costume. You both decided to go as a duo and her side of the costume required a bunch of rings.

Lucky you.

“I love you. You know that right.” Niki said to you. You looked up at her and smiled. You kissed her on the cheek and nuzzles your head back into her neck.

“Yes I do my love. And I love you too.” You told her, your face red and having a big smile on your face.

Niki laughed and kissed your forehead. “Honestly this is nice. We should’ve just done this.” She admitted.

“I agree. Fully.” You agreed.

“Wanna go home?” Niki asked. You looked at her and nodded quickly. She laughed and stood up. “Ok let’s go say bye to a few people and hit the road. Ok?” She asked you.

You nodded and followed her inside. She grabbed her purse and your bag as you took it from her. You both said goodbye to some friends and left. You and Niki only lived a few minutes away from the apartment so it was an easy walk.

As you walked, you took Niki’s hand and pulled her closer to you. “Happy 1 year my love.” You said as you looked at her.

“Happy 1 year.” Niki giggled and kissed your hand.

Damn you were lucky.

when you too got together you love to give her stuff until you got tested for depression it came out positive and it broke you. So niki decided to take over with the gifting this made you really happy but you kinda hated it cuz niki didn't have time to stream as much cuz she was taking care of you. she everytime reassure you that you were not bothering her she loved you with all her heart well with 97% of it the rest of her heart went to her cats she loved all of you. you were fine with it because they came first but no matter what niki always told you she loved you and made sure to get flower with it as well. Your guys apartment was filled with flowers but you didn't care you keep them alive and that was the only thing getting you out of bed was to water them and also being with your lovely girlfriend.

plot : y/n was streaming for a long time and niki got very lonely and got very clingy.

warnings : none just romantic and fluffy, but cussing from my A/N at the end lmao

“Oh my god chat look !” I squealed as I found a mooshroom, I had been playing minecraft and streaming for about 4 hours and 30 minutes now and I was having a lot of fun, but it was getting quite late in the afternoon and I needed to log off soon.

“I’m gonna name them Serenity and their pronouns are they/she !” I exclaimed quite loudly. It would be considered silly to be so excited over a block game at this age, but I don’t really care.

I ran in game to get a name tag because luckily I had stocked up knowing I would find another pet to adopt somehow. I named my mooshroom and I decided to end stream.

“Chat I think we’re gonna end it there, it’s getting late where I live.” I said to my chat as there was a mix of sadness and goodbyes. I said bye to chat and ended the stream.

I got up out of my chair and immediately went to go get something to drink from the kitchen. I ran to the fridge and as I was looking for something to drink I felt a pair of arms wrap around me.

“Oh hello dear,” I greeted my girlfriend as she just groaned into my back and as she did I giggled at her lightly.

“I’m so sorry I streamed for that long today, I didn’t even realize how late it was, I’m so sor-” I started to apologize profusely but my girlfriend cut me off by simply saying “It’s completely fine dear, I get that you have to stream, I was just a bit lonely that’s all.” She reassured me and that made me feel a bit better.

“Did you at least cuddle Zuko ?” I asked, referring to our cat, as she chuckled lightly. “Actually, yes I did he crawled into my lap and I was able to get some rest for a bit.” She said to me with a light smile on her face as we where now faced towards each other. “That’s good,” I replied grinning at her and after that we just stood in comfortable silence for a while.

After a while of just standing there Niki spoke up and asked “Can we go cuddled now ?”, well it was more of a suggestion, because she immediately started to drag me to our shared bedroom and onto the bed.

We faced towards each other as we cuddled and eventually she crawled into my lap and cuddled her face into my chest as we both closed out eyes lightly and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
