i have a newfound respect for drawing comics. i think a big reason why people are always asking when the next pages are gonna come out is because they don't realize just how long they take to make. the last 3 projects i had were multipage, colored/shaded comics that reach took several days/weeks to complete (one of them isn't even done!). then i drew just a singular picture of a guy standing in a color void and was surprised when it only took a few hours. i even fiddled with it for an extra hour because i felt like i had "time left."
I've always followed comics and have drawn them in the past, but until i spent a month almost exclusively doing them, i get very empathetic towards you when people continuously ask when/if you're continuing each comic. it is so much work!!! and what you create is gorgeous. so take as long as you need, including breaks, because comics take so much work they get boring to work on at some point lol
yeah comic pages can take a lot longer than regular pics depending from how u draw them and amount of shading or backgrounds but also just the planning part alone takes a while
thank you! and it's not about the ppl asking 💀 I just can't deal with going back and forth between the mindset of doing this comic and of doing other things every week anymore and I've wanted it to be done asap since 2022 so if I can power through and finish it in a week instead of finishing it in 5 months? I'm rUNNING
but that aside I did a 20 page buffer for my other comic as well at the end, it just makes things more organized for the printed version release, I think I got around 10 pages left to do + redrawing some pages and I do want to take a break but I'll just make things worse for myself if I stop now;;

Day 12: Is this love?
Aka, a Garrance lore dump!
Garroth was assigned to help Laurance get acquainted with Phoenix Drop during his recovery from the nether. Aph thought it would be good for Laurance to have someone else to talk to aside from her and Zoey, and thought him and Garroth would get along due to their shared guard experience.
Laurance is pretty down during their first few meetings, but he starts to perk up as his health improves, and he grows more trusting of Garroth guiding him through the village. It doesn’t take long for Laurance to start flirting with him, though Garroth writes it off as him just being friendly, even as he’s lowkey reciprocating the advances.
During one of their “totally platonic outings” Laurance opens up about his past: He was born in O’Khasis, and had no memories of his birth parents because they were arrested when he was a baby. He spent a few years in an O’Khasis orphanage, but quickly transitioned to living on the streets, experiencing first-hand the struggles and cruelty O’Khasis hid from the rest of the region. It’s why he’s so slow to trust; after having no one to rely on but himself for so many years, it’s difficult to be so reliant on others while he adjusts to blindness.
Garroth, while not revealing everything (for obvious reasons), also opens up; he had run away from home because he didn’t like the person his family was pushing him to be, and he’s still struggling to be his own person.
When Garroth drops him back off at his home, Laurance kisses him on the cheek before going inside.

Garroth.exe has stopped working.
Garroth avoids Laurance the next few days. He feels awful about it, but he can’t pin down how he’s feeling, and he feels talking to Laurance would just make it more confusing. Eventually, he gets frustrated enough to go and talk with Aphra:
G: I need to ask you a question.
A: Sure? Go for it.
G: Hypothetically, if someone kissed you, and afterwards you felt like you were gonna throw up, what does that mean?
A: …like throw up from disgust, anxiety, or butterflies?
Garroth shrugs.
A: Irene help us. Come inside.
It takes a long conversation with some input from Zoey (Aroace Aph is somewhat limited in the advice she can give), but they eventually get to the root of the issue:
G: I didn’t have a say in anything growing up. Everyone just told me what to do, told me what I wanted, and I went along with it. I thought I was finally getting better, but it’s like I’m still waiting for an approval that doesn’t exist anymore! I’m so confused, I can’t even tell what I want.
A: Well, that might be a good thing to tell Laurance. It’s okay to be confused, but it’s not okay to just ignore him while you work through this. You should let him know how you’re feeling, even if you’re not sure the feelings match.
Garroth goes home to think a bit more before leaving to find Laurance. When he opens his door, Laurance is already standing there, about to knock.
L: I just wanted to say sorry for the other day. I feel like I crossed a boundary, I should have asked before trying that.
He talks faster, clearly flustered.
L: I thought we were on the same page, but I guess I’ve never done this without being able to see so maybe I misjudged how comfortable you were, and either way I’ve really liked talking to you and I don’t want things to be awkward so if you just want to pretend it never happened I’d be fine with that-

I think I'm going to stop doing art for some time.
I have too many ideas for posts and comics but I need to put it aside and focus on writing my AU's summary. It urgently needs an update and it's gonna be a HUGE one since I'm putting more details about the story. I just started with the first arc and I'm already reaching 6 pages, so you can imagine it will take a while to finish it all. Not to mention that I'm going to do some redrawings for the new update too.
I have some pics ready to be posted for Halloween and after that I will be on hiatus so I can work on the summary. I'll try my best to finish it as soon as possible because I have 3 comics to work on after that and one has to be ready for December AND I'm also planning to do a summary of the summary of my AU lol please someone stop me I have no control over myself I have so many WIPS I'm going to die.
Anyway, I'm a mess and I need to focus on one thing at a time, so no more art stuff for a temporary time :')
In exchange, I'll share with you some WIPs that I haven't touched in a while because I'm a disaster, tee hee. 🤡

Special Informal Devlog
Hi-ho, Wudge here! Aaaa. I missed the update last week... as we crawl closer and closer to release, it's become harder for me to write devlogs. I'm making progress every single day, and that makes me so frustrated that it isn't done yet, you know? 😭 Something something curse of perfectionism...
Anyway.
I thought I'd try something a little different with this post by chronicling a specific screen I've worked very hard on, from start to finish!

It all began on... August 2021?! Yowza, two years ago! When I posted a poll on tumblr and on itch about how I should handle flirt indicators. The votes were split 50/50 between two popular options, and I was able to surmise that yall would really, really love an option to toggle between the two.
It didn't take me long to figure out how to implement the toggle itself.
The following year (September 2022), I came up with the idea of putting in an illustrated tutorial on how my flirt indication system works - after all, poll participants had told me that they loved the idea and had never seen it before in other games. I was on a treadmill at the time, so I quickly doodled the idea on my phone. It looks like this:

Then when I got home, I did a rough pen draft to solidify the idea...

I worked on the digital version over the next 2-3 weeks, and asked my friends for help with editing the text to ensure clarity.

.... Then I took a looong break from the infographic to, uh.... write, edit, playtest the game, draw expressions for Griffin CG, draw expressions for the landlord, work on a new Clammy Lady sprite, playtest the game again, make all the characters blink, make the first glowing animation for Jade's powers, code in Griffin's CG expressions, stress about paypal making changes in my country, do concept art for upcoming npcs, write some more, playtest some more, draw a birthday picture for Dart, write devlogs every single week, make sure all my files were safely transferred to my new laptop before my old one completely died... etc.
So it was February 2023 by the time I came back around to try implementing the infographic in code :')

... It was functional, but no matter what I tried, I didn't like how it looked with everything crammed into one page.
... Then I got really sick... but after I recovered and did some more work (drawing, writing, playtesting, etc) I came back to the infographic with the intention to learn how to code pages in renpy.

Still didn't look phenomenal, but there's a whole lot more breathing room! This was in April 2023.
I took another "break" (worked on a million other things) and then... FINALLY... in late August 2023, just a few weeks ago, I had an art breakthrough!

I had garnered a better understanding of color and poses, and as a result my chibis became a LOT cuter! I was able to redraw most of them without too much hassle - whereas when I first started, it would take me all day to draw a single one.
I also drew custom heart icons (a plain heart, a golden heart, and a broken heart), figured out how to make text buttons look more fun and intuitive..

And here's where we're at now!!! I still need to draw eyes for Dart.... but I researched and absorbed a lot about screen compositions, and had a rather late realization that I could re-use backgrounds and assets I already have in the game.

Hi. As someone who hopes to one day start my own webcomic, I'm fascinated by how your deleted scenes archive features almost complete art that follows a widly different route that that of the final narrative. It's a bit mindblowing to me, honestly.
If I may ask, how does your process work? Do you follow the conventional script -> sketch -> final art workflow and just take "kill your darlings" to heart regardless of which step you're in, or do you use the art itself as part of your writing (and consequently rewriting) process?
My process is very unconventional and also very flawed in a lot of ways. But it's the process that works for me. Sometimes.
(This is gonna be really long by the way and also it's probably gonna be wonky and messy so be warned lol)
When it comes to making a chilli issue, and just most of my comics in general, I don't write scripts. Would making comics be a lot easier if I did? Probably. Certainly. Absolutely. But it's not my process. At some point I'd like to start writing scripts before I work on an issue, but it always just felt easier not to.
Instead of a script, I write a very rough outline in my sketchbook, with notes so illegible only I could read them. I often deviate from these notes as I'm making pages however. Sometimes I'm about to hit a story beat and I decide it can be done in a slightly different way, so I do that instead. But I don't differ too much from these notes. For the most part.

When it comes to dialogue, it's very on the fly. I may have specific character quotes in my head when I'm planning out an issue, but most of it is only written in the moment when I'm actually making the page.
In terms of art, Chilli has a very "simple" style, and that was on purpose. I used to draw final lineart in my webcomics, and I found it very tedious. What I'd often find is I'd like the undersketch of a panel more than the final art. So when I started making Chilli, I just used the undersketch AS the final lineart, and I developed and refined that style as time went on.
When actually making an issue, I start off by figuring out the panel layout of a page. Sometimes this can be edited as I work on a page, but this is where I visualize the panels ahead of time. Once the border is done, I begin to draw the lineart. Sometimes I make a rough undersketch for a panel if it's particularly complicated, but usually I don't do that.

Once the lineart's done, I go back and give a thick outline to all the characters, and any other elements in panel, to make them pop from the background. It also makes it easier to color the page. Because the coloring process in Chilli is so simple, I often just use the paint bucket tool.
Now for dialogue! Again, this is usually only written at this point in the process. Even if I know what HAS to be said, HOW I say it can be tricky to figure out. Once the dialogue's done, I create the speech bubbles, and then boom! Finished page.
On an average day, I can draw four pages of an issue, but this is far from my limit. If i really wanted to, I could make 5-6 pages a day, but my wrist would absolutely not like that lmao.
And so day by day, I work through an issue, four pages at a time, until eventually, I have a finished draft! Does this mean the issue is finished? Nope!
Once a draft is complete, I do a mini "round of edits," where go through and make little changes fit to my liking. This could range from editing dialogue to make it less clunky, to redoing an entire panel. Once this round is finished, I set the issue aside. I don't work on it. I don't even look at it. I need it fresh out of my mind.
Eventually, usually about a couple weeks before it's released, I go through the issue and do an even bigger "round of edits," rewriting even more dialogue and redrawing even more panels. I do at least a few more rounds of edits until I'm finally satisfied, and that's when the issue's released.
Sometimes however, things can go horribly wrong.
Issue 12 was supposed to be a completely different issue. It was supposed to be the start of a new arc, but as I was making the issue, I just found myself unsatisfied and not that confident in the story I was setting up. So I scrapped that attempt halfway through, and instead began work on the issue 12 that would eventually release.
"Red Meat" in particular was a very troubling arc to make. I made probably about 300+ pages for that arc, and I ended up scrapping over a third of that. I did not do a good job at planning out the story for that arc, and it ended up biting me in the ass later when I realized I didn't like where the arc was headed.
Issues 25 & 26 were both drafted at this point, and I didn't like either of them, issue 26 specifically. The problems they had couldn't really be fixed in rounds of edits either, they were fundamental problems. If I wanted to fix them, I'd have to scrap a lot of what I'd already made.
So I did.
I redid a lot of issue 25, and I scrapped that version of issue 26 entirely. It was for the best ultimately, but in the moment it felt very demoralizing having to scrap so many finished pages.
Issue 27 also ended up being way too long (like almost 70 pages) so I had to cut a lot of (finished) pages in that one too to keep the pacing up. I cut out a lot of good stuff from that issue, but it was for the best. Even after those cuts the issue's still tied with issue 12 as the longest chilli issue.
What happened in Red Meat was a worst case scenario though, and going forward, im gonna make sure that something like that never happens again. Because, fuck. It didn't feel good scrapping those finished pages lol.
My process is very messy and slightly taxing, but it's the process I'm familiar with. I would not recommend doing what I do, especially if you've never made a webcomic before, but instead to try and develop your own method that works for you! Different processes work for different people

This is from an au created by @bonkdd, but i did rob and andrew's designs bc i never saw his designs for them. i also added a lot of lore and plot stuff because i really liked the concept. in simple terms the tallies are robots that were abandoned by Marvin after he passed away so now they're falling apart n stuff without him to care for them (that's why rob hides his face). Anyways, huge thanks to Bonk for the original idea! They're a great artist, you should go check them out!

Did an embossing peice. It's the Mojo Chessmaster! I tried by best to make it as detailed as possible, and I think I did pretty alright. The neck was probably the worst part to do. Below are close-ups

This part was also pretty tricky but it came out okay. the dials at the bottom are raised as much as I could get them to go, so I'm not worried about them. My issue here was the pickups.

it's from a tally hall fanfic/au i made back in may after my grandpa passed away. It was a great stress-reliever and I still really like how it turned out. It's about cryptids and monsters and shit. I'll post a summary on a different post because this one was mostly for the drawings. I might post a few installments of it on my ao3. It could be a weekly thing since i usually have time on fridays to write.

my journey in DST modding: day 5
the "Tale of Tails" continues. i decided to bite the bullet and just redraw Zakaria's tail to look exactly like the template's so the animation wouldnt break. and it looked terrible. i tweaked it a little so it didnt look as bad but it's still fucking weird.
i also remade the braids to look significantly shorter, but it also looks weird.

as you can see, everything is all over the place, i still havent figured out HOW to change the layer hierarchy OR the pivot placement in a way that matters.

im kinda reaching my breaking point tbh.
i did some other stuff i didnt care to screenshot, like reposition the head a little higher (almost unnoticeable) along with the face, redid some facial expressions and made a horn-less version of the head so it didnt clash with the hats. does it make physical sense? not really, nobody takes their horns off so they can wear a hat, but im definitely not gonna bother coding her to "be unable to wear hats" or something like that.

i added her name in gold to the character page, it looked really good but suddenly it stopped showing up (i now know it's the autocompiler's fault, at least it's fixable)

this fucking tail is getting on my nerves. i didnt wanna resort to this, but i guess im just gonna draw it on the tail-0 file and leave it as a single piece. it was worth the try, i guess.

but the "Tale of Tails" is not over!!!! i still have to fix the back view. i spent some more time searching in the Klei forums and while some posts were promising, most of them were just people with the same problem as me and no answer.
also, the braids count as pigtails i guess? theyre on the pigtail layer.

now, i found someone who said the only way to change layers is changing the animation itself. i have no idea how to do that but let's keep going i guess.

i sent the links i found to my friend in hopes that he can decode what the posters are saying cause my brain's already turned into a pile of goo.

probably the last thing i'll do for the day: redraw the tail, then take a textured brush and make the outlines of all the parts significantly thicker so she doesnt get swallowed by the environment.

so! end of the post, this is where im gonna stop. most of the art issues are fixed, i probably wont have to think about it two days from now.

HGHGHGH. ive never thought about this actually. i think inspiration doesnt really come from the art itself for me, but the artists attitude About art. anyone that fucks around and does whatever they want and really puts their genuine selves on the page is hella inspiring to me no matter what their art looks like, and it motivates me to do better

hmm. that awkward stage between having the composition and basic sketch laid out -> actually drawing is real stressful lmao.i never know what exactly to do... should i clean up the sketch? is it better to just redraw it completely? should this be cleaner? how do i even make it cleaner.... etc

Okay welcome to wip jail! This is gonna be a bunch of half finished drawings or sketches I made throughout the year that I have no real plans to do anything with.
This one can go above the cut— so I had this headcanon for goblin fWhip that he can shapeshift a little bit to be taller, so as to more easily interact with most of the empires, but that he can also be small for the sake of running around in his silly little cave, and so I made a silly little gif about it

This one was based incredibly loosely off a fic I read at one point. It’s like, Doc and Ren in a run down city during the apocalypse. I say it was vaguely based on a fic because that’s not at all what the fic was about but the vibes were there in one specific scene, and I love apocalypse AUs so I made it into one. Shoutout to the city skyline stamp brush— I did NOT draw that fancy city skyline. I did draw the broken bridge though.

This one was a scene redraw from Chrisrin’s how far we’ve come animatic that I just didn’t have the energy to finish at the time. It’s the scene where Bdubs looks back as the moon crashes and the bird flies away. Thought the lighting could be cool.

This was a scribble I made after the Double Life section where the ranch burned down. It didn't go very far, but like, as a concept, I was compelled. Pretty sure the figure was meant to be Jimmy.

This was meant to be the first half of a series of drawings, but I only ever finished the second one— the one of Jimmy yelling at fWhip, which I did post after a time. it was supposed to be like, something something how the presence of another person can change from comforting to threatening or something like that. This one just didn't have the same hold on me that the other one did, so it never got finished.

So I spent a long time thinking about that confrontation between fWhip and Jimmy from Sausage's episode 20. And I think about the fact that the Gobland banner was taken down from Jimmy's alliance building at some point and that it was never shown. I think about Jimmy choosing to actively shove away fWhip's attempts to try and act like nothing happened— like they could still be friends. Burning the Gobland flag, and trying to be strong about it, and telling himself that this is the right thing to do. I think about it.

Dragon fWhip. Goblin fWhip but he's a dragon. That's it that's the drawing. I used to draw nothing but dragons when I was younger.

And finally, these two go together. One day I was talking to Nondescript and I was like "damn what do I draw" and they gave me four different ideas and then I put them all in one doodle. And then the idea of fWhip with horns stuck with me, and I made another scribble of it for fun.

February 4th of 2023 marks the thirteen year anniversary of when I started my first sketchbook. So to celebrate, I decided to redraw the first OC that ever went in that original book: Hearts. I’m about to get really sappy under the cut.

I’m really bad at remembering dates, but this one sticks out in my mind. I remember being on my bed doodling this out, excited to finally throw something down on the page. At the time, one of my best friends had drawn Hearts out, but it wasn’t quite as I had envisioned her. I had been frustrated that I couldn’t articulate my vision, so naturally, stubborn 13 year old me decided the only way to get there was to learn to draw for myself. I uh, didn’t quite hit the mark for a long time, but this first sketch was important. Little did I know it was gonna take me on a journey that would last for so long (and is still ongoing)!
Hearts was a Sonic fan character originally. A baby blue hedgehog with pyrokinesis, defender of a world known as Planet Paradise and the leader of a resistance against a tyrannical king. She never met up with Sonic, they didn’t really exist in the same world, the visual style was just the same in my mind, and the stories were reminiscent of things I liked in the Sonic stories. The secret royalty backstory from Sonic Underground, the Werehog phase of Sonic Unleashed, the interstellar wonders of Sonic Colors (whose soundtrack I listened to all throughout drawing this tonight), it was all there. She was my whole world as a middle schooler.
Nowadays, I’ve re-imagined her to fit in what became of my other former Sonic project, Tales of Sunburst City, a world full of elemental heroes rising up against Tumult, leader of the Anti-Sync, to protect their home and the elements of nature. I think Hearts would work well as a fire elemental with hedgehog attributes. She’s sassy, she’s punk, but she’s always there to lend a hand. I can see her getting along with main protagonist Vibrance Echo very well.
I haven’t worked on her story in years. I had someone in middle school who kept stealing my book and inserting their stuff into mine without consent to make their characters the heroes of my stories, and another person who would also steal it and graffiti all over my art. It made me feel the need to keep it under wraps for a long time. I took forever to open up about my stories, and to improve as an artist. I got bullied within my fandom for not being very good at my craft (especially when I asked for help, I was laughed at), and because as someone who was pretty obviously bad at reading social situations/on spectrum, I was an easy target. That would go on from middle school all the way to college online. But I was determined through it all to become the best artist I could be and love my work. I had dreams of working on something for SEGA someday.
Look at where I am now. I’m standing here after 13 years, and finally, I’ve gotten somewhere. For one thing, I finally drew her hair the way I wanted it! X’‘‘D It took forever to figure out, but we did it, I’m so proud of that! But for another, look at where I’ve ended up as a person. I finally feel comfortable sharing my stories with my friends, and not only do they listen, but they’re interested in what I have to say. They encourage me to keep going. They’re there to help me when I get stuck, and I’ve learned so much from them that’s improved my art and writing game, especially in this last year. From nutcrackers to Bendy, I have a place where I’m happy and fulfilled. Thank you to my friends, you light up my life in so many ways, words can’t do it justice. <3 And it doesn’t matter if a hundred people or just a few see my stuff, I’m learning to love it and make it just for me. I’m closer now to creating the things I want than I ever have been before, overcoming the fear to just be myself. I have hope that maybe I can in fact write my books and tell my stories.
And it’s not just one art form where my skills have improved. It’s been noticeable across all my mediums. I have a bunch of new horizons that are being explored. I’ve gotten some cool voice roles that I never would’ve fathomed years ago. I tried cosplaying for the first time (in private, not ready to be public with that). I have improved on my dolls so much. And my digital illustration has been so much better! I’m getting better at using references, and my lip and nose game? Top notch! I even got to use some of my graphic design and illustration skills to help with the very first Bendy Fambassadors project! That still feels like a dream, the fact that I got to work with the voice actors for one of my favorite game series is AMAZING, and the fact that I can call some of them my friends and say I’m getting to know them as people? That’s the coolest thing ever! I’m so much more confident than I used to be, I finally proved to myself that I could do it. I am an artist, I belong here amongst the people whose work I look up to. I am amazing, I am beautiful, I am kind, I am compelling, I am FREE!
To all the artists out there that are insecure and finding their way, I can say with full confidence, it DOES get better. Yeah, I still have days where I crumble and fall apart, where nothing looks right and I’m in agony over my creations. But they aren’t the same as they used to be. You are the master of your own ship. Chart your course and weather the storm, take that high seas adventure! Find yourself somewhere along the way. There is so much treasure waiting for you, and you will find it. I’m a first believer that anyone can be artist. We can be so much more. Don’t be afraid to go out there and reach for the stars. You’ve got this!

So I have been looking up how to do certain things for 3 big projects. I am someone who knows how to do a lot of things: textiles (everything from spinning yarn to weaving fabric to sewing clothes), ceramics, drawing, graphic design (literally my major), BUT I don’t know how to work with leather/ fake leather and idk how to book bind or how to make paper (for paper I have a general idea but I like to know the details).
My 3 big projects:
1. I want to hand make my ren fair costume (ik big task but my local faire isn’t until September/ October so I have time). Which includes sewing the clothes and any other fabric accessories. I’m also thinking of doing some embroidery for that. I plan on using air dry clay to make tiny mushroom pins to put in my hair.
2. What I have been calling my Dice Dragon bag of holding. I have the design for it in my head and I’m going to be putting it down on paper. I have a dice pouch idea and an outside pouch that has a removable flap. I also plan on being able to convert it from a back pack to a satchel. So I have my work cut out for me. This is where learning about leather working comes in.
3. I want to make hard back copies of the Andrew Lang color fairy books (the 12 books, I’ll go mad if I do the full 25). I plan on making sure his wife’s name is on those books as well cause she did a lot of work on those including translating them from a number of other languages and I want her on my covers. I’m also gonna be doing redraws of the original gilded illustrations so this project is gonna take me forever considering I’ve gotta first buy all 12 books (or maybe find pdf copies online and then I’ll get to have fun messing with the fonts on the inside pages), designing the covers, picking fonts, AND for the end pages I plan on making my own flower paper to match the colors of each book, so again alooooot of work.
I love to illustrate but I also love doing things with my hands so I’m excited to do all this. I am gonna need to clean out my big closet so I have a space to put all of the new tools and things that I’ll be getting. Man, I wish my job was just to craft things.

Hello! I see that you have a lot of pending projects regarding translating P2 novels and scanlations. I was wondering is there anything I can do to help, perhaps? I don’t know Japanese very well so I can’t help much on that part but I have experience in cleaning, redrawing and editing texts.
If no, then I just want to leave a message and thank you for your work! I really enjoy your translations, they must’ve taken a lot of work. Mad respect for doing all of that. I appreciate them very much.

Umm in regards to help, I definitely need a lot and get a little overwhelmed trying to do a lot so I try to do one thing at a time... But there's so much I try not to disappoint >< generally I think I answered in another post, I don't do raws alone unless I post them together with a translation (but if I'm being honest, there are some stories in p2 anthologies I personally am a bit ehh on translating so I wish I could kinda just, scan every single antho with raws, and if people are interested to pick a story they could www)
In regards to official books at least, a lot of time is lost cleaning up the page so it looks almost near digital archival (to my personal regard because I want everything to look as clean as possible) but I'm a bit of an idiot and scan at like 600dpi everything so each archive is like 100mb+ and for a book like, p1 official guide which is 300 pages that's a lot...
Doujinshi help is also a lot more...specific because the p2 doujinshi I own aren't to anyone's liking but mine, so even though I'm trying my best with them. I know nobody would want them so I keep them separate from all things even though they're what I care the most for
And the most important part, I'm pretty shy aha... I wouldn't know how to keep up with somebody if we wanted to have something out for release so I work mostly alone, which as a result I'm slow...
I always appreciate help whenever I'm offered to, which I'm glad for! But I also wouldn't want to pressure people so it's complicated orz
My interest hasn't waned at all, I'm just pretty slow ww but from the time of my last post I've gotten a lot more media to translate so there's always gonna be something to look up to unless someone wants to try their hand at it, I can provide it.

I also want to rant about these and the process n stuff a little bit so I am going to :)
Making the first one I started redrawing old stuff from a sketchbook (the person in the pretty dress, person in the sweater), and then I got distracted watching qsmp vods and drew Dapper and Juanaflipa!!
It was the first time I drew them not as eggs (so they might look totally different next time I draw them sorryyy) and it was super fun !!!! Im working on drawing all the qsmp eggs but it's not gonna be done for a bit since I am also not caught up on whats going on
the last stream I saw was a few days after the Brazilian members crashed and now I hear of France?? Idk but I'll prob try to catch up this week and finish the drawing soon :)
Also all the nature !!!! Literally my favorite thing to draw ever. I could just sit by a plant and draw it and never get bored
Sadly there are not many plants near my house so I might just have to go into the woods and look for cool plants to draw this summer heheheee oh nooo if it's the only way I guess... I just have no other option than going into the awesome woods with the nature and no other people and loud music in my headphones 😔 /sar Im so excited ajauvsv

Short version, these little sillies are being included because when I actually start the project in a few years I wanna look back on this and see how my art improved and how the story changed!
LONG VERSION...
"the project" as I've been calling it, is a goal of mine in life to create something emotional and meaningful that matters to people and can maybe help someone feel less alone :)
It is not that right now though ! At the moment it's just an idea since I don't really have the resources or skills to make it the way I would want to, but these sketches and stuff help me keep track of the idea while I get ready to make the thing
I have some papers with project stuff that I might post if anyone seems really interested in the project as it is right now (they are messy and hard to understand so I don't currently plan on uploading them anywhere)but if not I will likely just keep quietly working on it :3 and I'm definitely gonna change up a few things !! Some things on that page may not even make it into the actual project 👁️👁️
That's all I have until I draw more ! :P (also if you read all that you r automatically very cool and nice and you get 🪲 🐛🐜🐞 bugs :) /pos bug s good)
