Lower Mendeva

Lower Mendeva (Borlish Mendeva Bassem /ˌmɛn.deˈva ˈba.sɛm/) is a geographical region comprising the southern section of the continent of Mendeva [North America], located west of the Mendevan Gulf [Gulf of Mexico]. The term sometimes also includes the islands of the Arcabil [Caribbean], which are located within said Gulf.

Contact between Lower Mendeva and the Vetomund [Old World] began in the late fifteenth century with merchant ships from the Morrack [Moroccan] New World Company (established by Malik Munir al-Hamdawi in 1463). In turn, traders therefrom encountered the peoples of the Arcabil, the Mashick [Aztec] Empire in Lower Mendeva, and further south the Tavancine [Incan] Empire in Cappatia [South America].

Hey guys, I know I’ve been SUPER MIA these last like two weeks but I’m back now! Life got crazy for a bit, as always, and posting kinda slipped under my radar, sorry about that. So here’s a quick really great update: the first draft of my new novel is officially done! It’s got a long ways to go, but at just over 70K words I’m pretty thrilled! Sadly, that means I won’t be participating in NANO this year (which is hard during college as it gets real hectic around this time with breaks and finals and all that), but that doesn’t mean I won’t be writing at all! My plan is (aside from day 1 where I took a much needed break from any real responsibilities to recover from the week) to consistently update something every day in my process. Yesterday, I brainstormed book titles (official title for new project coming soon!). Today, I was extremely focused on brainstorming book 2 of the series, getting real in-depth with my thoughts, when I realized that in this situation BS can stand for brainstorm or bullshit and both work fine! Lol, anyway. My hope for this month is to update you guys every day with some important work I’ve done, not a word count, but something lending itself to the stories as a whole.
