I keep forgetting to mention this: my hand is injured
Which is one of the reasons why the next chapter is taking so long (the other is the good old writer’s panic I’m slowly working my way through). Basically, for almost four weeks now, I’ve had some serious pain in my right hand and forearm, which means I can type (or draw) for very long and, usually, have to rest for a day or two before I can give it another attempt.
I’m HOPING it’s just overexertion from some work we did in the garden, but, worst case scenario, it’s carpal tunnel syndrome. So I’m trying to take things slow and not make it worse.
Fortunately, I’m close to ambidextrous and can do all everyday tasks with my left hand instead, which means my right can get more rest. The only things I’ve found so far that I can’t do with my left is write (like, with a pen on paper) and draw.
And no, I can’t write by dictating, either — that’s not how my brain works x’D I need to visually see the words as I write them to get the sentence and rhythm right.
So yeah. Just so you all know why the chapter is, once again, taking some time. I’m doing what you all keep telling me and prioritising my health. Be proud of me :P

It is the middle of a Sunday afternoon. You have nothing on, and aren't expecting visitors, deliveries or post.
Unexpectedly, there is a knock at the door.
you are greeted by...... her

They deserve to have a quiet moment for themselves (and Zuko is seriously questioning his taste in men)
