Happy late Valentine’s Day ✌️

(A redraw of my old comic from 2022)

Izuku is getting married, and the people couldn’t be happier. They were so excited to finally see their no.1 hero, their symbol of peace, finally settle down and start a family.

Izuku is getting married, but it’s not to the person he loves.

The public would never accept him if he were to come out and admit that the one he really loves, the one has loved all along, is Katsuki. A man. They wouldn’t allow it, and the backlash would be too great to take on.

It wasn’t supposed to be this way. He wasn’t supposed to agree to marry that woman. But he did and and broke Katsuki’s heart in the process.

Katsuki didn’t want to come. He didn’t. He couldn’t bare to see the love of his life taken away from him. But izuku requested that he be there as his best man. Because, “if I’m having a wedding, I still want you to be a part of it.” And who was he to deny him?

I think this took about 3-5 days. I had fun with the hair. I wanted to do some fun poses, so I did a more family image with Eri and Bakugo. Deku's freckles are a bit hard to see under the red. Originally I did a lighter colour, but it was harder to see. I thought I'd give Bakugo a green outfit to complement Deku.

Could I request the prompt “Decorating the Tree” with kiribaku their darling convinced them to decorate the tree for Christmas. Kirishima is already gone onboard with the idea, so the reader just has to convince katsuki a little more.

You loved the holidays. You loved everything about it. You especially loved decorating for the holidays! You used to redo your whole apartment to decorate for the holidays. But now you can’t.

The only decoration that Katsuki and Eijiro had up in their home was the saddest Christmas tree you had ever seen. You knew you had to do a little redecorating.

Eijiro was easy to convince. How could he say no? You loved the holidays so much, he couldn’t take that away from you!

You wanted to buy decorations for the house, specifically the tree. The few ornaments on the tree didn’t cut it for you. There wasn’t even any lights or even a tree topper!

“Katsuki?” You ask, drawling out your words in a way that made Katsuki know that you wanted something. He turned to you from the stove where he was cooking for you. “What do you want?” He says. He sounds annoyed however you’ve been with them long enough to know he’s not.

“Can we please get more Christmas decorations for the tree and the whole house? Please?” You ask, grabbing onto his arm as you plead.

“Why, we have a tree what more do you want?” He says, looking down at you. “Yeah! But it needs more, it needs more!” You plead, Eijiro interrupting before Katsuki can speak again.

“C’mon, they’ve been so good lately. I mean, they’ve been listening to everything we say and they’ve been loving on us. Should we give them a reward?” Eijiro says in a sort of hushed voice as if you weren’t right in front of them.

Katsuki only grunts a bit. “Fine” Katsuki grumbles, trying time ignore how absolutely adorable you are when you squeal in excitement.

It was a very long process, online shopping for more decorations. Eijiro and Katsuki seemed to think everything you pointed out was dangerous. Eijiro even brought up that they shouldn’t get glass ornaments.

“What if one broke? You could get hurt!” He told you, you couldn’t even argue back because Katsuki seemed to agree. They also refused to get you to ones with sharp edges under the excuse, again, of you could get hurt.

Eventually they finally found some that they deemed were safe enough for you to decorate with. You were going to completely redo this tree and make it perfect. ︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
